Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Welcome. Welcome. Welcome. It's time down to speak with Mike Mazy at GOP candidate for Governor of Oklahoma. We're down to the last month and we are driving hard. How you doing Mike? Oh, we're having a good time going all across the States once again time to talk about my plan to make life for more affordable and grow great jobs for the people of Oklahoma. Well, great. Let's hear about those ideas you have up there in your noggin and you've been talking about this. So eloquently to folks on along the trail. Well, I'm a financial planner and a small business owner. So I have built a plan to lower the cost of living, increase the salaries and wages for hardworking Oklahoma's by making Oklahoma a no income tax state, abolishing property taxes for seniors and veterans, cutting the cost of home and car insurance,

to launch a massive statewide literacy program. So our kids read at grade level, get more students in skilled trade careers and chase out the Chinese money and the Mexican drug cartels out of the state of Oklahoma. And we do all that will be able to launch a new wave of growth and prosperity. Mike, you know, we've got some things that going on here that folks have been kind of interested in. One of these, of course, is that smelter thing that's going up in I know, is that something that's going to be a go? Where are we on that? Because that's going to bring in a lot of good jobs. Yes. I was not in sleep, but I was in the government in 2025 when the aluminum plant project was approved.

And I had some questions myself with limited information, but I did a deep dive into all the information. I did become a supporter for two big reasons. One, the job creation is just phenomenal. 10,000 jobs, 940 million dollars of estimated annual payroll coming to our military needs aluminum for our jets and warships and China controls 60% of aluminum production. So, President Trump and America are now looking to Oklahoma to re-shore this very critical material for our military. And it's an honor to help protect the women, men of our military that are fighting for our freedom. Now, none of that obviously matters if the project isn't safe,

but during our extensive research, we found that the latest and greatest technology has helped the aluminum plants in Europe be 100% safe and successful. I am, however, or I have, however, listen to the local community and I will follow through our commitment to bring in a third party independently evaluator to make sure the project is completely safe in terms of the water and air for people, the community, the hay, the cattle and the farms. I understand that you're bringing in the big guns. You and a fellow who gave you his endorsement are going to be in our great state here tomorrow. So, President of the United States of America, Donald Trump is coming to grant for a rally. I'm quite excited to have him here.

The president loves Oklahoma, is very well aware that all 77 counties voted for him three times in a row. And he specifically wanted to be here as he goes across the country to remind people to vote on the ground to third. Now, Mike, you've been putting really going through the shoe leather. This is a big state. And you've been crisscrossing it at least four times, I guess, maybe even probably more. But what is the big thing that you're hearing from people who are likely voters? What are they, what are they, seem to be most concerned about? The biggest concern I hear from people all across the state is frustration over property taxes, particularly seniors and veterans. Tom, they're just scared that they're going to lose their homes because property taxes have gone up 30, 40, 50 percent. And home insurance has surged just as much if not more. So, I did a deep dive into the numbers and found that in Oklahoma counties, property tax collections are growing annually about four to eight percent.

And it turns out for senior 65 and older, they only account for 10 percent of total county collections. So, my plan is to phase property taxes out for senior 65 and older and veterans on their residents over a three to six year period and property tax collections. So, still come in with 2 percent increase at least every year. So, paying for county services and schools will be just fine. This is a big difference between my opponent and myself, representing Munson. She doesn't believe that seniors and veterans should get property tax relief. And in essence, she thinks it's okay to tax people on these huge gains that they've had in the values of their houses, but they've never actually received any financial benefit.

I don't think that's fair or appropriate for citizens that have contributed to their communities for three to four decades. On the issue of zero income tax, a lot of well, there are states that do this, but what is Mike Maisie's pathway to get to zero? The reason we have to become a no income tax state is we have to stop losing high paying jobs to them to the no income tax state of Texas when an energy company like Devin decides to leave Oklahoma for Texas. And my plan is very workable because it's done through what we call a revenue neutral strategy. Step one of my three part strategy is to lower the rate from 4.5 percent to 3 percent in our first year and pay for all that by actually getting rid of tons of the $2 billion in tax giveaways that are on the books.

And that will allow us to very responsibly still handle core services. Now again, this is another area of difference between my opponent and myself. As a as a Democrat, she believes in higher taxes, higher spending. She's voted against every income tax cut there was hasn't done anything about waste fraud and abuse and you know that that type of financial management is what's led to the Democrat disasters. And California and Minnesota very good. Hey, Mike, if folks want to catch up with you or perhaps maybe make a contribution, I imagine you have a website, don't you? Oh, we just love people want to join a team. Maisie Tom our website is micforok.com. Pretty simple. Mike for okay.com to request a yard sign. Join the team. Make a donation. We're just grateful for the enthusiasm and support to just keep growing and growing and growing.

And we certainly would appreciate everybody's vote on Tuesday the end of the third. Good to yourself. Thank you, sir. Okay. Tom, bye.
