This is Steve Kovino from Kovino and Rich. Quick trivia fellas, every guy listening is contestant. Answer honestly to yourself. You got a belly in a little chest, gasped by the afternoon, no drive left in the tank, you lack that confidence and mental edge. Shrup off the weight that tanks your testosterone with Bioma, GLP1 booster. Every serving is packed with science-packed ingredients that crank up your natural GLP1 production. Welcome, welcome, welcome, in this time now for our community connection right here on K1, the morning crust. And we have the Santa, at least the ladies from the center. Who are here with us today? How are we doing ladies? Doing great. Well, you're doing super, super, super. We have Caitlin and Valerie here both with us.

Seasons are our launching. What's going on? Well, October's a busy month at the center. To say the least. It is. We got a lot going on. All of our local art scoops are launching their seasons. So Bartlesville Symphony is kicking off. Bartlesville Civic Ballets production of Cinderella is up. Yes. Bartlesville Community Concerts. They're kicking off on October 30th with Garth Live. And, you know, we got a lot of other fun things happen at the center, like Ghost Walk and a Rocky Horror Picture Show. So it's going to be an exciting month at the Center. The art show. Oh, you can't forget that. Yep. Talk more about one Bloom Show. Oh, my. Okay, so next Thursday, October the 8th, we have an opening of our first impressions, Art Exhibit. It's the third one in a four series. Kind of art exhibit that we've begun for new and emerging artists who've never had their own show.

With their own solo show. So their own solo show. So they might have been involved in Bartlesville Art Association or had a small showing downtown or somewhere, but not in our gallery. And so it's an exciting new initiative that we started at the center last fall. So when do things open up for the applications for next year for that? Applications for that will open up in January. But if you want to learn more about the first impression series, come next Thursday, October 8th to the center to see John Lenn Bloom and Aaron Rakes smells like home spirit to the title of their exhibition. And we're so excited. I don't know what you got to do that. I mean, okay, yeah, you're first in your schedule. Oh, what you got. Don't know about these because this is a big thing for next Thursday. What do we have here? Yeah. So these for the folks on the Facebook, this is our sustaining member Mugs.

So folks who've signed up to support the center's operating expenses on a recurring basis get to bring these Mugs in no matter what's happening at the center inside, outside, community hall, big show in the in the big hall or a gallery exhibition. You bring this mug, you get a free beverage. And next Thursday, we'll have our new season Mugs for all of our sustaining members to come and pick up. They have a list of all of the shows happening next season. And also a list of the gallery exhibits in the first impression series. So what's the level? What do we have to hit in order to get that? 250 or more? 250 to get mugged. Yeah, to get a mug. All right. And it's totally worth it. And also with that sustaining membership, best kept secret in town. You can save the $6 handling fee on for the entire year. Wow. So add that up. That adds up really good. It does. Plus a popper water at one of our shows or a glass of wine at our art shows.

So art shows free wine. Other shows free water, free pot. Right. That's right. That's right. So it's a great deal. I like it. I like it. Do it. That is so cool. Yeah. And my husband and I, we are sustaining members. And we didn't want to write a check for $250. But we did decide, you know what, for $25 a month, we were willing to be a recurring giver. And so we looked at all the money we were spending on streaming services to watch things home alone online on Netflix, who blew Amazon. And we thought, you know what? We have room in our budget if we think creatively. We can, we can afford to support live performing arts right here in our hometown at the $25 a month level. There you go. That is wonderful. And we've preferred right just to check. So we just do one time check. So we'll take cash. We'll take checks. We'll do the recurring. We've made it really easy. Sure. For everyone, for every level. So we can go from $250 a year all the way up to $1 million.

The sky is the limit really. Why not all? So we got the sympathy. What's going on with that? The symphony is celebrating Maestro Lauren Green's 50th season, conducting the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra. He started when he was five. We did. Yes. Yes. He was a child brought to you. Very much so. And Bartlesville has been so blessed to have him at the baton. What does he do? His programming and his knowledge of the music world is just been such an asset to Bartlesville. And so we are really excited to celebrate along with them in the middle of October. So if you're in town for fall break and looking for something to do, symphony is going to be performing on the Saturday of fall break. Don't we have a really great deal for children? Yes. OK. I think everyone should know about that. Student tickets. Students pay nothing. Students pay nothing to see a symphony show at the center. Zero Zilch Zippo. Wow.

So if you've got a student and you all are in town, think about checking out the Center's calendar. And we got some stuff going on. We have Broadway coming. We do. We have the Broadway jazz hands. This is Doubtfire. The musical is going to kick us off on November 14th. Season subscriptions are still available. If you decide to become a season subscriber to the Broadway series, that's going to get you the best pricing and the best seating availability for Mrs. Doubtfire and Richard Thomas in Mark Twain tonight coming up in May. So that's John Boy from the Walton. He's going to be on stage at the center performing in Mark Twain tonight in May. So those season subscriptions are still available. And you can also purchase single tickets to the cat in the hat in February. Nice. And I just want to talk for a moment about what great support the center has from all of our local entities.

Mrs. Doubtfire is presented by Conoco Phillips. Richard Thomas in Mark Twain tonight is presented by Phillips 66, P666. And the cat in the hat is presented by our friends at Ascension. So we are really grateful that so many folks are invested in what's happening in the arts and understand that the arts infrastructure in this town is a part of what makes Bartlesville a robust and healthy place for people to live and work. And we're so grateful for them. And we're just amazed because we've been going out the last couple of months to get advertisements for our program book and to get sponsorships for to help these big corporations that are helping us with the, you know, the presenting sponsorship levels. And they've just come in to our best bank, trueity, a lot of other individual organizations and businesses. And we still have some room. So we don't go to print until the middle of October for that book.

So if you've been waiting on this, get it. If you've been waiting, you still have that opportunity. And then also if you'd like to showcase your business, have an ad in there, we have a lot of in kind. Yeah, you do. Like the radio station. Sure. We're one of them. So we're very grateful, as Kate said, we're just so thrilled that the the community has come and supported the Center in such a great way. So keep these shows coming. Civic Ballet, you can't go wrong. We always pack the place. Oh, yeah. Cinderella is coming and they're having a Cinderella tea downstairs before one of the one of the performances, which is such a fun way for to take your little ones and have a fancy tea before you see the fancy ballet on stage. My daughter, I'll be there and we're really looking forward to that. What's the date on that? October the 24th and 25th. Wow. So big, we have to do two shows. Great. Yes, we have a Saturday evening performance at 7 pm. And then we have a 2 pm performance on Sunday the 25th.

And that one is the one Kate was referring to where we have the Cinderella tea. Oh, gee, there you go. And that's going to be before the Sunday matinee. So, you know, let's do it. Your church clothes just come straight from church. That's fair. I'm in Hs.C. I'm going to watch Cinderella. And I think we princess are invited too. Right? And princesses. And princesses. So, yeah, it's a big event. The community concerts are a gem here in our community. I mean, even area white because of the way it runs. Tell us a little bit about that. So, we, you're alluding to our reciprocal, their reciprocal tickets. So, yeah, yeah. So, if you're a community concert season subscriber, you get a little record. And you can use that in Pongka City, Coffeeville, or somewhere else, North of West. You can go see their shows. They can come and see our shows. You can buy a season ticket for BCCA,

for the, you know, four shows. We have to see all four here. Yeah, you got to see them all here. It's like, it's the best Pepsi. It is. Those are always amazing. Now, no, no, we have coming up. We've got what for these concerts? Yeah, the concerts, the community concerts. They've got Garth Live. They've got Elima Dixon in November. Nice. Then in the spring, they've got six appeal, vinyl, to vocal. And then one of these nights, an eagle tribute in April. Oh, yeah. Oh, he's a fun kid. You might have to get a second night for that. Kidding. But they, they, that tell you what, always entertaining. And the price you can't beat it. You just can't beat it. Of course, the center. What a setup you got there. Uh, you're always improving. Always improving. New seats. New this. New that. New everything. Can I come up? Can we talk about our new light?

Yeah, hopefully she should. That was kind of the door. I was opening. That's the way yesterday. I was having a lot of fun with our technical director, Bill Sheverton. We were unboxing some lights to try to see which lights we wanted to get just so. And it was really fun being backstage with Bill Sheverton and Kellyn Watt who are just, they are so good at what they do. And they were hanging these new lighting instruments and trying to educate me, you know, at a 101 level on what I was looking at. And it's amazing to see what is possible with current technology. We are about three, four decades behind on our lighting technology and some of the advances there. It's just incredible what you can do with the new technology. So we're really excited. We're getting rolling on that. Should have hopefully some psych lights for the ballet. That's our goal. And then a whole revamp of our, sort of the brains that operate that system. We're looking ahead to a quiet. We can January to hopefully get that system replaced.

And again, we're able to do that because of the robust support from so many organizations that really believe in the power of the performing arts and what an ad value it is for the entire community to have access to that right here in Bartlesville. And the voters. And the voters. The voters voted for the capital improvement for the city in the summer, this past summer. And part of that was a portion of the funding that's going to go toward these lights. It's a $2 million project. And so thank you voters for voting, yes, on the CIP because you got us kick-started. And then we were able to go, as Kate said, go to some of these local foundations to say, hey, we've, you know, the city of Bartlesville and the constituents of Bartlesville have already signed up to help us with this. And now they were willing to come in and help us match that. And so we'll be able to get started on that, like this fall. Wow. For that first section. So we're super excited.

Now if anybody wants to purchase tickets or maybe ask questions, maybe you just plain write a check to be a sustaining member to get one of those cool mugs, how do we go about that? What's the contact information? Well, everything's available online at BartlesvilleCenter.com. And then the box office is open from nine to five and two hours before performances. And you can call the box office at nine, one eight, three, three, seven, two, seven, eight, seven. That's nine, one eight, three, three, seven. Arts. And then all of our emails are actually on the website. So if you want to get in touch with me, Caitlin Kramer directly or Val, you can find our contact info on the website or just give us a call. And we'll reach back out and we'll get you connected to everything that's happened in at the center. All right. Thank you for being with us today. Thank you. All right, both you've been watching and listening to our community connection. This is Steve Kovino from Kovino and Rich. Quick trivia fellas, every guy listening is contestant.
