2:12What's up ladies? The vibes are a lot better than oh, we could go. Victory Monday. It's our first one. It's celebrate. Yes. Just from the very beginning of the game, didn't it feel like the script was flipped completely? Yes. And that first quarter where the three and out wasn't by the Cowboys offense, but was by the defense, getting the commanders off the field and Cowboys had already driven down and taken a lead. And so, and crowd was into it behind the Cowboys instead of against them, like in New York. And I don't know, just had a completely different vibe. You couldn't have asked for like a better star when you're talking about playing at home in front of, you know, probably I'm assuming a sold out crowd. Yeah, 93,000. That's what it looked like. Over 93,000. It was just, it was, it was awesome. It was awesome to be at. I know, Christie, of course, you had the best view of the game from the sidelines. Just a quick takeaway from you about the last night. Just so thrilled for Dac.

3:13Because three and a half hours before kickoff, he strolls in by himself. And he's wearing the stall-buck jersey and the Cowboys hat. And he walks along the home sideline to the end and back just by himself, sometimes with Wilkrier. But I saw that 12 and we talked on Friday about the conversation that he and Quinn and Williams were having in the Cowboys locker room about Quinn and not being aware of who Roger Stallbock is. Oh, that's what we talked about. Yeah, yeah. So when I saw the 12, I went up and just walked with Dac to the end and back. And I'm like, so did you get one of these 12 jerseys for Q for Quinn? He says, I tried, but the one that they brought me, it doesn't have enough X's in it. I need three X's instead of two X's for him. But I'm working on it. I'm working on it. And we were just talking about how, you know, with young players and, you know, having to teach them about those that came before and the legacy and when he showed up wearing that, I knew that it wasn't really have to do with that conversation

4:20with Quinn on Friday so much, but that he was paying homage to in his opinion the greatest of all the Cowboys quarterbacks and literally to everyone at that position that came before him. And so I'm like, I think he's confident that he's going to get this record today. Yeah, you said he was going to get it. We did. We wanted the explosive plays. I got those two. Got my little wish list. I think we're really though, Christie, after the game, just listening to how his teammates were talking about him in the locker room, and then also Coach Sean Hyman, these guys, I just used to them being so tough in these little warriors, if not little big warriors, and then see them kind of get like Ferguson got a little bit emotional in the locker room. And then what did he talk about? He didn't talk about the on the field, did he? That's what I think that yeah, that's what got him. I mean, you were standing right there. I think he was my question. Yeah, I know he talked about, because I said, you know, what does it mean for you? You know, the great relationship that you have personally and professionally, what does it mean for you to be part of it?

5:22Because he had two of the four catches yesterday to give Dak the record. And so he didn't talk, I mean, sure he talked about him being a leader on the field and everything, but he talked about Dak stepping up for him when he had lost his stepfather recently. And that's what I wish people would know more about Dak. I mean, oh yeah, he's a great guy, and he does all this kind of stuff. There are so many things that he does. And I see it just from even just with sponsors and some of the things that he does with his foundation. Small everyday things that mean so much to people individually. And we hear about some of them, but we don't hear nearly as much as we should because he does it so often. Yeah, that's a good point. Like I said, that was, that was set out to me listening to all that. And the whooping, you could hear it was very loud in the locker room after the game. Yes, they were celebrating and recognizing the record.

6:23So to Christie's point though, that you said that everyone who doesn't get to see that, I feel like it's pretty quiet for all the people who always have some negative deck comments because it was undeniable what he did. And I used to talk to about a lot last season, unfortunately, about having to put everything on number four shoulders. And we'll get to that part when you get to the defense a little bit later. But I kind of want to, I'll start with you. I showed the question kind of on this subject. What kind of impressed you more? Was it the milestone that he was able to achieve last night? Or was it really how he was able to stay and control pretty much the entire game? Always just the control of the game. I think you could tell early in the game that Dallas understood that set in the pace for this game was important for their overall success that came out with urgency to score. There was some play calls from Shady that we have not seen actually some new things. So that was fun. And I just thought the offensive side of the ball really again felt the moment, had that momentum coming in.

7:25And so to me it was just to your point, it was the command of the huddle of the game, the pacing of the game. And just knowing that they needed that win really bad, you could feel it from that off from the offensive immediately starting with the quarterback. Yeah, right out of the gate, Candace, what did you kind of think of what CD was able to do? There's been a lot of talk about two number one, why receivers on this team? But last night it was a CD Lam show. It was a CD Lam show last week. I said I wanted to see those big plays and they executed those big plays. Those two touchdowns, his little dance, dance after the first one. And he indexed performance all night was just, I don't want to say perfect, but after the week one, it was just beautiful. And that was just hitting him up the middle of the field all game. I know it was at least three or four times and then once in the end zone and the second time in the upper right hand corner. But CD did what he reestablished himself.

8:29I know he said before that him and GP are both white receiver ones, but that was a little bit of a reminder to everyone last night. And he's not in that. He didn't shout down from it back down from it. Yeah, I thought the greatest play at the game was not one of the touchdown passes, but the one candy reference down the right side line. Not five plays before the final touchdown, the 35 yarder. And just from the angle, it was, you know, where I was, the line is scrimmage. And so it's across the field because it was down the commander side line, visitor side line. And that lets the ball go and you can see it going over one defender and in front of the other. And it was, oh my, perfectly. I was like, I won't say what I was thinking. Holy cow. How did he, how did they do that? And I think it was beautiful. And that's to me, that's like, as you talk about CD and George Pickens and, you know, the differences between them is that, you know, in these moments,

9:32I do think you get to see the string that that in CD has. I mean, they've been, respectively, they've been cooking Washington since. You know, so this is not anything new to him, but to your point about CD and lamb candy. As you go, go back as I went back and looked at the game, we, I think the Y receiver one conversation is going to like not fluctuate, but who gets the attention this week? And this week Washington was like, a big home, we were not going to let you in GP like in George Pickens, we're not going to let you beat us today. So CD and lamb had a lot more opportunity. And also, I thought it was doubt. I thought it was smart through the game that Dallas still continued. They went to Ryan for a new way, multiple plays. And I think that was just, hey, should they honest? Yes. Because he can shred you too. And that to me, I think showed a little bit of the way that Dak spread the ball around. Like you were talking about candy. Yes, like, yes, it's very intentional. So they can get some of these guys to ease up and covered.

10:34So CD and Pickens can have opportunities and. Yeah. Yeah. Eight receptions, 150 yards, two touchdowns. I think people kind of needed that reminder of the chemistry that he and Dak possessed. And it was just on for this play last night. I think five of those catches came in the first two offensive drives. I'm not missing it. Yeah, it was quiet. It was quiet in the second half for CD until that 35 yarder, I believe that was his first one of the second half. But just one other thing, let's talk about the receiver room. Because there are going to be games where it's going to be CD. Or it's going to be George and Ryan's going to have to he'll be like, you know, at Baskin Robbins, take the ticket and wait your turn. You know, I mean, that's just the way it is when you got a one and a one A in front of you. But the way that and terpen can be dangerous, you know, if they get him involved in the offense and he did look much better as a returner. Oh, they were so close to breaking a couple of long ones. But I think it speaks to the cooperation.

11:34It's not just words when these guys talking about supporting each other and that, hey, one game, it's going to go more to one. And, you know, it'll be my turn the next game. So believe me, it has not always been that way. Yeah. And I mean, that's I think that's what is making this group so strong. And Clayton Adams had talked about it going into week one and really, you know, trying to make an emphasis to us that there's no, there's literally no Eagles in between these two players talking about CD and Pickens and that they feed off of each other and. CD Lam had said in week one, you know, there's a clear understanding if not us then who in that really set out to me as well. And like you guys, I'm I'm really excited because it's not like it's we were like, is it going to be fixed right away? Yep, somebody's going to fix it. And, you know, if it's not this one, it's going to be that one and back and forth. But also Jake Ferguson. It was nice to see him into the end of two times last night, right? And he had been a red zone threat too.

12:35It's just I feel like they played into what he brings to this team. And then Brevin, I know the stats don't necessarily show up. You got to give a shout out to him as well. And I really like what those two did last night. We wanted to see more from them or from the entire Titans, if you will. And I think we got that. Yeah, I got to speak to Jake Ferguson. Well, before we even talk about different, I just, Brevis Bay is forward getting paid. Being tied in to and working like that on special teams. Oh, he was that is such a, you might check on that man. I'm just saying like he's just like that. He's always been even in his college tape. He's always been he's a finisher. He's chippy. I always call him chippy. I love chippy. He's chippy. He's going to tow the line just enough. But I love that he just matches energy. He's like, you know what? Y'all want that crazy? I'm a matcher crazy. And I just wanted to mention the fact that he took that step as tight into and he's doing all this work on teams. And then still being, you know, on offense, being doing blocking things and having to navigate.

13:38I just wanted to highlight him. But Jake Ferguson talked to him in the locker room this week. And one of the things I said to him when I went up to him was, hey, brother. He's like that. Just like that. Yeah, I think I love it. Hey, brother. The middle of the field is indeed open. And I think you mentioned that candy with CD-Lam, them attacking there with CD-Lam. And Jake Ferguson, there was going to be opportunity there because I think Dallas knew that the Washington was like, and they're going to run into this multiple times. People are not going to know who to stop. Yes, exactly. And so that's that really opened up the door. And we were looking for that last year. We expected that last year. Like, okay, if they're going to be giving all this attention to CD-Lam and George Pickens, then that means Jake Ferguson should be taking a step. But your offensive line has improved in past protection to me. Yes, you mean. So, Jake Ferguson had the ability to get some drops down field. And I'm sure he's happy with that. Yeah, imagine if the Cowboys actually have a run game. How's he going to say that? Because that was back. Because that was back. Yeah, we did. Yeah, we're going to get into that.

14:38We're going to take our first break first because we need a few minutes to talk about the run game. We're a little excited. We're going to take our first break here on Girls Like Ways. We're gonna talk about what didn't go so well for this offense last night. The same thing that didn't go so well in week one.

19:47So ladies, I will bring up what Kristi brought up to the table before we took our break. Sorry, someone had to throw the emergency break on our happy tree Monday party. Yeah, yeah. So here we go with the run game. What do we have? 21 caries? Yes. 21 caries, 66 yards averaging just over three yards for Gary. And that got skewed in a positive direction at the end. I mean, in one point, I think it was fourth quarter. Javante was average in like one yard a carry. Yeah. At the point it was like seven yards, seven kids. Yeah, it was nasty. A yard a carry. The longest run was by Guess Who? Who? Deck. There we go. That's not good. I think it. Okay. Well, I was like, please get up. I said, look at Dave Winon. Yeah. I thought it was a really where he got in. Yeah. I thought, oh no, took one on the hip. Is that the one close to the end zone? Yes. That kind of game roll. But I was well for that anyways. But I you should run game is is it's Tyler Smith being missed right now.

20:52A lot of bit. A lot of bit, which is again, it's fair. It's all pro offensive line is a unit and having an anchor type player in between, you know, two guys that you know missing him. Cool. Baby. Oh, Jesus. They're struggling with teams are really hurting them with some of the stunts and some of the twists. The communication is not clean enough between them in these exchanges. And that's how people are kind of sneaking out the back door and catching that catching that backside and stuff like that. So I think you I think some of it is naturally like as we talk about conditioning, offensive lineman have to get into shape too. It's not funny. The theory is they they have to get in there's can there's some conditioning things I see there's fatigue guys playing higher. S.I.M. points in a game trying to get their breath. I know Chris you've seen it, which is normal again, apart the normal progression, but you are missing an anchor.

21:53I am concerned because this is something they struggle with last year. And again, the passes, exchanges, communication and stunts and stuff like that. I hope to see them get it cleaned up, but Washington definitely exploited that they would have done it more if Frankie Louisville was playing last year. Yes. Yeah, I think Cowboys caught a break with that. And then when we're saying, you know, Javante, like one yard of carry on average for most of the game, let me say that it was extra effort just to get to that. There were times where it should have been a two or three yard loss and he's struggling to get to the line or a one yard gain. So yeah, it was not pretty last night in the run. Yeah, and it's not getting easier from here. That's that's the thing. They don't have the same push on the inside without without Tyler Smith. That's just I mean, but it's also two are people like this is we're going to see this more than once Dallas used the past open up the run. Yeah, and that's okay. They play action them to. Even though Dallas couldn't run the ball for real, they still play.

22:55They still had to respect. They still respected it. So I mean, again, it feels like you're kind of in this place where it's like certain things are going right right now certain things are not. I know y'all watch around NFL last days yesterday. It was a lot of dust and rust and other stuff going on. So it's like I'm trying to be a little patient with the run game because a lot of it is rhythm and timing and stuff like that. And that unit that worked together in training camp is not the same unit without Tyler. So that you know, we're not throwing shade of TJ bass. But the standard of that old line. You take out your captain per say out and literally like he's better. And any minute. No, it's parents is parents. It's parent steel has more has more time. Yeah, more time in the game. Yeah, I agree with you ladies. It definitely looked rough trying to move the ball via the run game yesterday. But you still have to do it.

23:55You still have to try. Like you say make them respected. Well, go ahead. Oh, I just think it's on a fair first of all. Talk about how they're how it's difficult for them to run the ball with TJ bass. And that's just not have the foot quickness that Tyler Smith has. So as they're trying to do some of these things, setting up to the outside like. You also need your tight ends in your wide receivers to block well. I thought they blocked far better this game. The tight ends and wide receivers far better this game. But I just as far as TJ bass, I think that's where you see the most limitations is trying to get to the second level and trying to, you know. I don't know, get him to climb to the next level. I think that there's kind of where some of the things there's there's not the same as what you have with Tyler. I don't want to specify to be fair to him. Yeah, and just throw a positive note out there. No, Tyler Booker at right guard. He was the game captain yesterday. So he was out there breaking the team down on the field pre-games. That was cool to see. So yes, there are permanent captains that Shoddy announced going into the season.

24:58So it's Dac on offense Kenny Clark, Quentin Williams on defense and Brandon Aubrey on special teams. And they didn't have a game captain last week in the opener, but they did for this game. And it was Tyler Booker. And so for a second year guy to get that on or I thought that was pretty cool. And it was just great to see him out there getting everybody going. Yeah. Well, you know who didn't have a tough time around the ball yesterday? Stop the other team. 32 carries, 180 yards. J&D was a big part of what they were able to do who was hurt on the final play in that first half. But he was able to get 69 yards on seven carries, which was a little bit more than what Dart was able to do last week. And we talked about going into this week about being able to contain the mobile quarterback because he who shall not be named as waiting for you in Rio. So it's not again not getting easier with that. My god, Voldemort is there. Oh, wait, let's put to say that name. Oh, no.

25:58Yeah, we'll get to that. Oh, we started working a little bit ahead. But yeah, I guess I guess first, Christie, I mean, you kind of again on the sideline. And we were talking about it before the show started. We know J&D annuals was starting to cook there towards the end. Yeah, and just such an unfortunate injury. And Chris beam our producer if he can pop in here because Chris had a much better view of J&D. And he was also doing the annuals injury because he's shooting the game, you know, the Cameron Lins and able to zoom in on that viewfinder. So he was actually feeding me that information on the sideline that he had the better view of what happened with J&D's elbow. So Chris, if you want to pop in. Yeah. So when that play went down, I didn't know exactly what, because I know he popped up. I couldn't really see what the injury was at first. But I noticed his left arm was like hanging a little bit. And I kind of thought it was a shoulder at first. Yeah, at first, if I was the way he was hanging. When you see someone that hurt their shoulder, they usually hang it to the left.

26:58But then when he went down, I noticed that when the medical personnel and the doctors showed up, I zoomed in. And I could see where one guy would grab his, grabbed his tricep and was holding it. And the other guy grabbed his elbow that was popped out and had a pop it back into place. Like they've done it before. Like they knew exactly what happened. Because remember that happened to him. I believe I don't know what week it was last year. Same thing happened to him. So that's when I saw that and I walked over to Christie because they brought the aircast out. And at first when you, when people see it, aircast, the first thing they think of is legs. That's the first thing I think I don't, I was listening to the radio. I can listen to Christie and they said, aircast that could be a leg. And that's why I went to Christie and I said, no, that, that's his elbow. So they have an aircast for the whole world. Yeah, because James legs were kicking. Yeah, he was kicking his legs. It was very pain. You knew it when I was a pain.

27:58It was very pain. Yeah, you're not going to be kicking the leg. So yeah, they went out there and put that thing right back in pretty quickly. And you can just tell when they do that, the pain goes away, which is crazy. And then we can see, we know who the security personnel are in the EMTs. And so we know when they're calling from the cart and where they're calling in. And so the other thing, Chris and I just, because we've been doing it so long, you want the cart to not go back to the tunnel it came from. Because if it goes to the tunnel that it came from, that's where the ambulance is. If it goes all the way across the field to the opposite side, which is where the cowboys sometimes they go behind the bench, but a lot of times they'll go up that corner tunnel. If you ever see anybody going that way or the cart head in that direction, it's actually better because it means that they're going to the imaging room, the X-ray room, the digital imaging. And it's what they have, this has been since they moved into AT&T Stadium in 2009 back when it was Cowboys Stadium.

29:01That it's so stated the art that the images that they take, I mean within seconds, it can be sent to a specialist back in Washington, D.C. or Virginia. Whoever worked on Daniels last year, can go to the team doctors for the commanders. And so when the, I probably shouldn't say, but I have friends who work that room. And so we knew that it was not a fracture. So that was good. And by the way, just to follow up today on Daniels, because this has, whether you're a fan of the commanders or not, you still has implications for the NFC East, but he had the imaging done today again confirmed no fracture. Dan Quinn stated that no timetable for his return and Quinn said that he's set to see specialists. So that's the latest on Daniels. But yeah, thanks Chris. You really, really helped us. Yeah, we got yesterday. Thank you.

30:02You need to see that speedy recovery because that's absolutely absolutely. A bunch of guys did too that we got to hear from the locker room. So the same thing. You know, he had to see someone like that hurt. And it's just, it sucks that like Chris said, it's the same injury he's overcoming. But what he was able to do to this Cowboys defense before he exited the field, IE. What were you, what were you seeing that? Well, what we were seeing him getting a nice solid 20 yard run there. That was given the Cowboys such a hard time. Well, we've seen it this last couple of weeks. It's weird. It's. I think the responsibility is to contain. It's to kind of keep. You want to keep guys like that in this little well. You don't want them to escape out the size. You don't want them to eat about the middle. And I feel like Dallas's rushers and edge rushers are like containing. Is there a system is overcontaining? It's it's so it's it's yeah, like there's over pursuit as Candy mentioned in an opportunities they did try to blitz and to get there and get home and to throw them off the spot.

31:06But really it's frustrating because it's like they're waiting. It's I feel like they're waiting for the other person to do their job or for like you can see them looking for a response. Like whether that's a linebacker come into scrape, which is hey, you are getting this offensive lineman to come off this double team. So that will free up, you know, free me up or free someone else up like it's it's just not happening quite clearly. So for me, it's weird. Like I said, I think the defensive lineman are containing. But it's two points of where it's like still attacking and finishing. It's still not there. So we y'all. I told you I'm tired of seeing people on the ground. To me, people on the it's I'd like they're so close to finishing and don't get it twisted. This is the type of quarterback that will make you look like that. Yes, that will make you look crazy that is slippery and this can evade in the last minute. But the contain is it's over. It's almost too much. It's almost like I got a container right now and I'm going to contain.

32:08And it doesn't matter that I'm a football player and I know I can feel that this guy's going to bounce outside. My job is contain listen honey. You're just a fan. Yeah football player. He is football players and they're going from there's a point A B and C. And you're supposed to finish at sea, but they're kind of stopping at B. Yeah, or they're like they're looking for someone else to do it. Or it's like they're so fixated on doing their job. That they're not going to the next step. Yeah, yeah, let my body do what it naturally does. Let me shed right here in tackle and not just hold this block because I'm being told to but like do it. So I think again, I think that might be a part of the natural progression of the defense and them growing and having faith in the system. However, comma, you leaving a lot of plays on the flow when you're doing that and not being instinctual. There's still a lot of thinking from the defense. I wonder if it would just go ahead. I wonder if in part because of how week one went and a lot of the scrutiny. I wonder if part of that is just in their their head to like check that box.

33:10They didn't occur. Well, you know, I mean, you got to maintain your lane integrity. You got to maintain the integrity of the pass rush. Yeah, and I wasn't forced to give an excuse. Right, right. But there's a fine line of maintaining that integrity and finishing. Yeah. And if and I did hear that at practice actually last week, that to get into details, but watching defense. Yeah. Yeah. And you know, the thing is, Jaden Daniels is out and Marcus Mario to comes in in the second half. And he's he's not Daniels, but shoot. The guys got wheels too. Uh-huh. You know, enough to to allude a pass rush and keep the guys on their toes. But it's nothing like what we're going to see Sunday and real. Yeah. That's a nice lady to put that one. Um, my my question, um, I issue because you kind of talked about a lot last week and you just test on it with the pass rush, right? It was weird because like you mentioned, it's getting better, but they're not getting home. So you're not seeing it on the stat sheet.

34:11And I think that's the frustrating part, I guess from the fans perspective, right? Um, but I kind of wonder too, like, and Shaddy talks about it sometimes when you look at a play instantly and you're like, okay, this guy missed that assignment. And then Shaddy's like, well, not necessarily the film does it. The film can lie because we could be asking him to do XYZ and he's doing that. Yeah. And it's actually somebody else. Uh-huh. I always think about that too. So I'm interested when, you know, I actually kind of looks more a little more in depth on the film and things and we get to hear from Shaddy and Hyamber later on today. Um, but I'll leave you with this question before we take our break and we'll answer when we come back. Are we more worried about the run game? Well, we talked about offensively for the Cowboys or the trouble stopping the run. So think about that and went to that when we come back. Back to Girls Talk Boys Talk. Welcome back into Girls Talk Boys Talk. We were diving into a very serious question. I let the ladies kind of ponder it on that commercial break. So I'll say one more time. More worried about the Cowboys run game or their trouble of stopping the run. It's only two weeks of football. Yeah. But how you feeling right now? Which one level concern is more on what the Cowboys are doing offensively, running the ball or having, doing everybody look really good, running the ball on the other side? I mean, one side has a very important reinforcement coming like an Avenger level person that is, you know,

40:15just unsubbatical in a cave or something right now chilling, waiting and getting healthy and all that stuff. And then other side, you don't really have any reinforcements. As a matter of fact, you're starting to like, I thought your secondary is getting banged up because they were your last line defense a lot yesterday. So you're rookies. We just talked about Schmar James having to come in like your DeLinebacker spot and the secondary has gotten banged up. To me, it's going to be the offense. It's going to be the defense not being able to stop the run as well as I think we were hoping to start to see. That's going to be my side. We're all like. I'm going to say mobile quarterbacks right now because the one that we're up against, he shall not be named. I'm not going to call them a running back. So right now, my concern is mobile quarterbacks. The traditional run to defense still has some issues.

41:18And we've had back to back weeks where quarterbacks, legs and no telling if data and Daniels had been healthy and stayed through the game. How many Russian guys were you at like 69 Russian guys? So you concerned about the RPO like the like you were talking about the running back that can run the ball is concerned you quarterbacks. Because the current back to yeah, because when you look at the attack and you look at the stats to your point. Yeah, they skewed it's kid by dart and it's skewed by Daniels. Yes, the run defense has not been that poor, but it has been it's it's swaying in that completely changes how you run it. Yeah, it's poor enough that that's my concern. There's no doubt that the answer to the question in my mind is more concerned about run defense. Because if you do not stop the run, dude, your toast. Period. Now now you say well, you need to be able to run the ball on offense. Well, let me just say that the way the Cowboys stack up in I you should mention it earlier using the pass to help the run to set up the run. Your your bigger playmakers and your big play catalytic stuff is going to be the strength of your team is the passing game.

42:24Okay. And on defense. Oh my gosh, it's like, well, you can't stop the run, but oh, the pass rush is going to hadn't stepped up. Not yet. And yeah, I used to write about the secondary. You lost PJ lock yesterday to a foot injury and the first defensive series. And he went up to the X-ray room and he didn't come back till the second half. And he was in street clothes wearing a walking boot on that right foot. And oh, Kobe Durant suffered a hamstring injury two blaze before Jaden Daniels went out there at the end of the second quarter. And so, uh, Savon Revel is having to play for Durant. So, yeah, so you're down two safeties with Malik Hooker with the forearm fracture and PJ lock who's in a walking boot. And Kobe Durant has a hamstring injury. Yeah. And oh, Demarvianne overshown is going to miss at least another week or so with his hamstring injury. So, yeah, I'm very concerned about the Cowboys one defense.

43:24Yeah, that injury list is starting to really grow. And can I just say that Quinnon, Quinnon took himself, Quinnon Williams Cowboys defensive lineman. He really battled through it yesterday. There were probably four or five times at least that he took himself out of the game. I show was about to go to here. Yeah, and so I asked him in the locker room afterwards. He says, yeah, I got a little banged up. I mean, he wasn't going to go into it. But I'm telling you, you call it helmet tapping. Bill Parstels would say, I don't want any helmet tapers out there. And so, Quinnon wasn't physically tapping his helmet. That's what you signal to the sideline of, hey, take me out. And then a substitute. So, what helmet tapping, but he was coming over to the sideline. And one time I thought it was like arm or shoulder and other time in neck. Anyway, he didn't get any treatment per se. He never went into the blue medical tent, but the dude was banged up. Well, they're asking a lot of these theories. It is fatigue. It's fatigue, I think. Obviously, we talked about the condition and stuff like that.

44:26But I do, that's concerning to me. And it has been based off of what I saw last week as well. I do know that in this game, maybe the guys are being not being asked to do things they haven't done before. But they are being asked to do things that they haven't done. A lot. Yes, they're asked to be asked to do a lot. Your rotations have to be strong. They have to be people you can rely upon. I think Otheto was one of those guys. Over 10 is still. He grew up a lot in this game. And so, I think, you know, I am concerned about the defensive tackle play. And again, there's context to reason. And Christie's letting us know that maybe Quinnon is dealing with some things. These guys are trying to get in shape and everything. But really, it starts there. And if the edges are struggling to contain and to finish, and the defensive tackles are just sitting up here, holding up as long as they can, waiting for somebody to fill, waiting for somebody to come do their job, they can only do so much. So I think we are, the middle of the defense is someone we need to be focused on our chances.

45:26Yeah. And can I just say one more thing about middle of the defense, but on the back end. So after PJ Lock left, what they did, Marquis Spell comes in to spell Lock. But that's when the team was in Nickel. When they're in their base, or it means you've only got the four defensive backs. You've got two cornerbacks and you've got two safeties. So Lock is out of the game in that first defensive series. So Caleb Downs, who's been playing in the slot in the Nickel, would play deep in the base. And then when it was back to Nickel, meaning that you have five defensive backs, an extra cornerback, and a guy in the slot, that's where Caleb, where he played in week one, and he played the majority of yesterday's game week two in the slot. But that's because the, you know, Washington was going with three wides or more. Most of the time you're in Nickel in today's NFL. So it's going to be real interesting to see moving forward. Sunday, you know, Marquis Spell is going to, you know,

46:27man everything or how they're going to use Caleb. Are they going to try and spy Lamar Jackson, who would do that? Sorry, he shall not be named. If anyone were to spy Voldemort. So, but anyway, that's how they handled the situation at safety yesterday. And when it comes to, because you talked about Lock and Kobe Durant coming out, being rolled out, I did see an interview with Steven Jones talking to one other five, one of five through the fan. I say right. Who's the fan? Yeah. They sent me my paycheck. So you got it right. 105 three, the fan. Thank you, Christie, that those, those both those injuries don't look to be long term now. And that could mean different things, but at least they're optimistic about that. Because the depth and the secondary, we're talking about a pass rush. And we're talking about all these news. There were some guys out there who got a little bit thrown in the fire last night. We sent it. So with that being said, how are we concerned about the depth of the secondary?

47:29Because that was a topic we talked about at training camp. And what happens if this person gets hurt and now we're starting to see what happens if? Not, I'm not as bad. I mean, obviously the safety spot is, I mean, yeah, you have a marquee's bell. I thought that, you know, it's going to take him some time. Or however they decide to figure out if it's going to be him or Elijah Clark or whomever is going to be, we'll see. It's going to be different. I'm not a fan of it. So I'm not going to say I'm concerned about it. But I am at a point to where I think Savon Revelle has some good plays and stuff. Like this is an opportunity for him to get on the field, get some more experience. I mean, it could be a good thing in a bad thing. And Dallas, and Dallas, my catch of might, I mean, knows if I was just last week with the hamstring, if I'm not mistaken. This is a short week travel and stuff like that. Yeah, we leave Thursday night. Absolutely. So we'll be paying attention to what Dallas is going to be facing receiver wise, you know, this week. But yeah, I don't know.

48:29Until your point, it could be a good or a bad thing. We have hooker, a log, a ron, and you're asking younger guys to step up and some rotational pieces and see what they can do out there. Communicate and kind of hold things together on the fly. Because like you said, this is a short week. So they're going to have to be able to step up in a matter of days. But it also affects what you do in the slot. Because if Caleb Downs is not playing the slot, the other guy who worked it during camp was Durant. So I would think, and then Kendrick, Darion Kendrick, who you added as a free agent in the offseason, he's on the practice squad. So if you're not going to have Durant, you're not going to have Locke, you could elevate someone from the practice squad. What happens if something happens to Caleb Downs in the game? Or you need him to play back there? Who's going to play in the slot? I mean, that's the thing. There's no one right now because Revel would be in for Durant and he plays outside. I guess you could put him inside in the case of emergency.

49:29He played fantastically yesterday. Oh, man, he had to. There was that one where he was trailing digs. And digs went right to left in motion and Caleb was chasing and didn't get there in time. But what a physical player he is. He really is fun to watch. He makes an impact. And he knows he's not going to get that many opportunities and he makes an impact every time he can. So yeah, I think we should be kind of like, what's going on with the secondary? It is a lot going on right now. It's a lot of moving pieces. And like I said, Shotheimer talks very soon here. So we'll get to get the latest update which we'll share tomorrow. And we'll get it. There was, we start to get into a little bit of bright spots with defense towards the end.
