Is this week different to where you have to go? Okay. Can you win it doing what he's been doing? If Quinn Williams is the dominant force that you think he can be or that you believe that he was when you brought him here from New York and you paid him in this extension to be. And this might be the week because they're right guard Vega. He in rookie.

26:07going to get, they're going to get lined up. They, they started out this game and they were running what they call the full, the full backfield. Yeah. Well, they had it in the pistol. They had Lamar in the shotgun. They had Henry behind him and they had the two tight ends lined up next to him. And, you know, I want them to, they're going to run, is they're going to run counter. They're going to run counter right. They're going to run counter left. They run counter. They run counter 60% of the time. Yeah. So who's that? I guess everybody's just got to stay in their lane. You better stay in their lane. Because we haven't been doing really good with misdelection. Because it's going to be, it's going to be, it's going to be outside counter. So they're going to be, they're going to be looking to, and they can tell you about points where that running back is looking to get to, but they're, they're, they're looking to hit that counter where, you know, you, you see Derek Henry. And then for him, when he gets to go in sideways, it kind of gets his momentum going up. Then when he puts his foot in the ground and gets up few, he's already built that momentum

27:10with like a train coming down the tracks. And so they're looking to get to those points on that counter with Derek Henry. And so they, they, they run those type of plays 60% of the time. So what you laughing at over there? It'll be called, we did it yesterday. We started, you know, first day, you know, same thing we've said last. Excuse me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. At different times, make plays. And then sometime maybe you can lighten the load on your stud and then he can come in to make a few plays or he can open the game up, making the plays and that's the game. Go on. Other guys, but other guys besides rookies got to make plays. You know, we see where Caleb Downes come down, make a hit, make a play, but there's too far in between. Is that how you say that? Got it right. Too far in between. Yeah. And so it's not enough on coming back to back to back. So you're going to have to be consistently in your spot against this team.

29:14You're going to have to be the most disciplined. And I said yesterday, I'm saying it again, you have seen this offense. Three weeks in a row. Now three weeks in a row, but it's the people I've gotten better. The quarterbacks, I should say, have gotten better. The speed of the way they can run has gotten better. That being elusive have gotten better. If you don't know by now, how to, I can tell you how to beat this cat. Hit your guy, get in the middle of him, push him two yards back. I'm talking about the past. Push him two yards back, stop and figure out where he's at. Don't just flop the field versus the run. You know, they're going to do that little read, run option pass. You know, they're going to do it. Play your man with the quarterback yours, the quarterback yours.

Move him up to the line almost to where you got four line backers and let him play from there. At least give them a look or a threat that you are defending the run. In the case of the Cowboys, you would love to not have to spy because again, the God that you're talking about using the spies Caleb downs. Well you basically take him out of any other thing that you want to do. If he spy, he ain't blitzing. If he spies, he's not in coverage. If he's not he's not a rat player, not a whole player. He's just standing there watching the quarterback. He's like a wasted dude right. Literally like almost literally a wasted dude. Now you would love to have a guy like Fred Warner who was in the middle of the field now. He's like, all right, I don't lose my integrity and coverage because that's a linebacker who's quick enough and fast enough to, you know, smart enough to do it. No, no, he's doing. The thing is with I keep going back to the way that they want to play in the secondary here.

38:35If I take a guy out of the secondary that I stress out my back end like now, those guys have to be on point on point on point on point. And so that that leaves up for open possibilities. Now, if you felt like Lamar Jackson couldn't throw the ball down the field and you were really, really, really threatened by his run, cool. But this Lamar wants to pass the ball from the pocket. If you give him the opportunity to run, he'll take it. But it leaves a breakdown in your coverage and you don't have lockdown corners. If he had Deian out there, he had Reves out there there. Hey, let's buy all day. Them two joggers out there. We've just found on the island. You don't have that. And so that breaks down the integrity of your coverage. But you would try to do it on situational downs. Well, if winners, it sounded like winner, they tried winners against Daniels and he didn't work. Good luck. I mean, Lamar outruns angles. So linebackers, Jay Sean, winners, maybe if you had a healthy overshown, that might be

39:44a candidate because he's a little bit more athletic than linebackers. But Lamar is just a different dude, man. He's a different dude. The best job I can think goes back to what Nate was saying. Brother, we got a former pocketing. Just keep him right there. And if he beats you by throwing for 400 yards, you tip your cap and you go, good job, young man. But he can't have 225 yards passing in another 90 yards rushing because that just kills you. And it won't be a lot of times on first down. It's going to be on those best 30 passing downs. It's going to be third down. And that just breaks. That just breaks your spirit when you want to get off the field on that eighth player to drive. And he breaks out of the pocket and go runs for first down. So his legs, where are you all the more than his arm? For me. I mean, don't get me wrong. I don't want to put Lamar in the box if he can't pass. His legs scared me when you are not disciplined. He whoops you. He whoops you. The thing is, we have not, as a defense, coming up on a third game.

40:51It's too much. It's too many things to work on. You can't be working. Okay. We weaken lane discipline. We had, you know, to be rated high in pressures and not into having one or two sacks, two force six fumbles and recover one. You see those little things that you can talk about in the defense of me. But boy, when you start getting four or six fumbles are out of those 30 pass, you start having ten sacks. Now you start to grow. Now you start. It's too many things that we can sit here. Each podcast I was just to, you can just pick something and go to work on it. Yeah. You know, the percentage of this, what's it called it running and getting back to the offensive line is 35% with such and such. It's just too many things. You got to, you got to hurry up and get good at something.

41:54And so if I were to say, hey, Kurt, what is the Cowboys defense good at? Stop. Hey, Jesse, what is the Cowboys defense good at? Well, there it goes. Now Shannon, Mr. you got it fixed. What is a good at? See? But if we go to the offense, hey man, what is the Cowboys offense good at? First thing, man, they can throw that rock back and throw it. You got something you good at that you can build off. Our defense hasn't gotten there yet. It just hasn't. And if I'm wrong, I want you all to really get at me. Tell me I'm asked to 12, ask to, you know, they don't learn this defense. For their offense, you obviously have Lamar and you have Derek Henry. And they're tied in Andrews has always been one of the best tight ends in the game. And that gives us problems.

42:55It seems like every time we face a premier tight end, you hear that name a lot. Is he still got a lot left in the tank? Is he going to give us fits this weekend as well? Mark Andrews? Yes. Again, if I have to use, if I have to use, no, but if I have to use, if I have to use the kill downs as a spy, possibly because now we're left with the art of him as Marquis Bell or or or Jellin Thompson. Right. So I think, I mean, he's a Savio veteran. And if Lamar is rounded dancing around, running around, then sure, he can, I mean, I don't, he's not what he once was. I'm glad likely he's not there anymore. He's in New York. I was just going to say, thank you New York for getting likely out of there. I'm going to be honest with you, man. They going to run the ball. They're going to run the ball so much. It ain't no matter. I think, I think the between turning on the film and watching the Cowboys run defense for the first two weeks and then the collapse that they had last week against the Saints and

44:00how everyone's talking about how you, you only had the ball one possession in the second half. And then you didn't use Henry at all. And you didn't use Henry? They're going to try to prove a point. They're going to be like, yeah, yeah, we're going, we're going to get this lead and then we're going to solve it away. We're going to just keep running until you can't run it anymore. So what do you do if you're the Cowboys? What, what, what, what do you do? Knowing where this defense is at, you haven't been able to stop the run for two. We haven't been able to stop the run for 20 damn near 20 years, but you haven't been able to stop it this week. Do you even have the person to help to stop it? Oh, yes, you do. Yes, you go, you go into your game plan saying, hey, guys, and you still hoping to believe in, hey, Quinnan, Kenny, O-O-Tito, L.C. Number seven. Roshan Gary as a rock, listen, guys, we got bow up. We got a bow up. And then once you get past that conversation, if they can't bow up, you screwed.

45:02Now you start maybe trying to blitz more. You don't have Caleb blitz more, but you know, you get to the first thing is, hey, we're going to run what we run. Now I'm going to look at Quinnan and I'm going to go, hey, Quinnan, Kenny Clark, by two veteran dogs on the inside, you got to play big. You got to play big 11 guys to the football and we got to tackle no arm tackles. We got to have we got to have face mass on face mass. We got to go hit because that's how you stop Derek Henry. You know, you stopped Derek Henry before he gets started. You get him, you get him running sideways and then you gain tackle him. If he puts his foot in the ground and gets turned up to feel, you, man, folks will make business decisions. You look at your secondary and you say, who are the tacklers because they're going to have to be involved. So you got Jason, you got downs and downs. Who are your tacklers?

46:03He make you think out who your tacklers are and you try to put them in position. So I'm with Jared. I'm with we all with Jared. Yeah, yeah, he was in the club at the crosstalk last night. But I'm with you, my friend. He going to have to Caleb now have to play big. He don't have to play big. He's going to have to play big and we and we are asking a lot of a young fellow. Well, they're option nothing that they do when they run that option. Yeah, so like, yeah, you leave the running back, you leave the running back for the line. Yeah. And then that line backer has to be. Yeah, be ready to come over top of there. He's just about disciplined man. We've seen it, we've seen it New York. We've seen it Washington. Now, here's the perfection of it right here. These guys right here. They've been getting you ready for this? Yes. Yes. You know, Cook said it, you know, you know, Barry Church rather said it. It's getting to be frustrating because you've been getting prepared for this for two weeks. Yeah, that was the whole. It'd be disciplined. You were facing a few teams that were supposed to be lower in.

48:07Yeah. Those were going to be your preseason. You'd be ready to go. Yeah. And so now let's see, man. And you know, it just, you give us great information, great analogies, you break things down. And I want you to stop saying at the end, and when you giving us all that and then saying, man, I just don't know. You know, don't do that because I, because me and Shatterler are like, well, you want to take it on a table and say, what they're struggling. So that's how I get to that conclusion, man. I just don't know. I can't wait to hear your, they're going to be the first time ever you have multiple stats of the, if this, this or this happens, we got to do this, this, this, this, but this not that happens.
