With Mike the Oki and Brandon Kravitz. Happy Throwback Thursday everybody and welcome to the Sunshine States only true sports talk radio show what we focus on the teams and the topics it boarded to you. The sports band in Florida we are

game on with Bianchi Kravitz. I am Bianchi by Bianchi the Bulldog. I'm the sports columnist of the Orlando Sentinel. This man right over here is Kravitz, Brandon Kravitz the hardest working man. In sports media the prodigy of production prime time Jayden Grimes. He's the executive producer. He's the man who puts the go into the show and this show is coming to you live on FM 96 9 the game in Orlando. AM 930 Fox Sports Radio in Jacksonville FM 96 5 the spear in Tallahassee. All points in between on the IHARDS radio app and the YouTube machine and today Kravitz. We are on live TV in Jacksonville, Florida on action sports, Jackson 24 7 the new all sports station in Jacksonville. If you're in jacks you can watch us. Let me see if I have the stations. You can watch us on free TV channel 47.2 and on the Xfinity cable on Channel 216 or HD Channel 1188.

In fact, Kravitz, I just got a text from your aunt Agnes in Jacksonville and she loves seeing her little Brandon on live TV up there. Yeah, I didn't even know I didn't even know Agnes had made it up to Jacksonville. I guess that's her that's her fall home that she's under something. Look at that poem. Look at that guy. Look at those cheeks. What a cutie. Yeah, so making our debut on TV in Jackson. We're happy about that. So we have to mind our peas and cuiscries. Now that we're on a TV station. So I know no more talk about the backseat of your Buick. I think we, I don't know. That would be a Pontiac Catalina. Okay. Night. Okay. Well, maybe we won't cut it off. There are more stories to come from the, uh, a, a hair filled beyond key of the past. Absolutely. However you may be watching or listening, we want to hear from you throughout the course of the show two ways to do that. You can hit us up on the mills air text line. That's 50857.

Or if you dare, you can put on your big boy, Bridges and step into the rage cage. Now the rage cage, if you're a new watcher or listener is the I heart radio app. This will talk back microphone at the top of the app. Press that microphone. You can record a message and send it right into our studio and we play the best of those as the show progresses. Isn't that right, Crafts? You got that right. And we have a prize to give away. How about this Gatorland, Halloween tickets. It's Gator, Ghost and Goblins, Halloween. Very spooky stuff. Two four packs to give away today on the show will give you more info on how you can do that later on. You go to Gatorland when it's not Halloween. And it's very spooky with some of those big, big ass gators in there. My Gator's dress up is to get like a Gator with a, with a ghost costume on. That'll be great.

Let's get to some highlights and headlight. All right. We don't usually start with baseball. But what the hell? The baseball playoffs has started and the hated Yankees swept the Red Sox out of the playoffs with a 92 victory last night. Here's a little sampling of what it sounded like. This is going on a deep drive, right field, got a chance and fell in goals. A three red homer, Tony Biden's eight one Yankees. Oh my God. The Yankees outscored the Red Sox. 18 to two in the two game series. They now get ready for an A L divisional series against the Pampa Bay. Raise the clash between the two best teams in the A L begins game one at the top. Saint Pete Saturday. I think it's a 6 30 PM first pitch. If I'm not mistaken, sure, false grad. The raise Yankees series is the ultimate referendum on baseball economics.

False. I mean, the raise are just a better, the better team. So I don't, I think it's more, be more of a referendum on what the raise have been able to do specifically than on all of baseball, but the raise are favored in this series. They should be. They've been the better team throughout the year. The Yankees have struggled offensively despite what you saw in that series against the Red Sox and the and the raise have a better rotation. So I think the raise are going to win the series. But does that mean that spending less is the better way to do it or anything of the sort? Absolutely not. The raises just simply a better team than the Yankees are this year. By the way, as I mentioned, the Yankees outscored the Red Sox 18 to two without Aaron Judge in the lineup. I think the Yankees should just keep him. I mean, he's got that strain calf. They should, they should not bring him back until absolutely necessary. In my opinion,

if they're going to hit like this, sure, I just don't think that that's going to continue. They got some great pop from Ben Rice who Yankees fans. They've pushed Aaron Judge to the side. They that is a Ben Rice fan base right now with the way that that guy's hitting the the leather of the baseball. So if Aaron Judge can play, though, you got to play him. He's one of the best hitters in the game. In nearly a 20 minute video release, I believe it was yesterday former Pittsburgh Steelers hate coach Mike Tomlin unveiled a city he built on the 3D video game Minecraft. Here's Tomlin during an interview explaining his fascination with the game. I'm a big Minecrafter. I know you were a game reader because my kids were. Got it. And so how do I connect with them? I started playing Minecraft, man. When my kids were young, I have a Minecraft city. I'm creative, man, that I've been working on for like 12 years. Do they still play too? No, but when they come home, they're like, hey, dad, put your city up, man. Let me see what's up.

Okay. All right, Craft, you know me. I don't even know what Minecraft is. I don't play video games. I haven't played video games in probably 40 years when when Odyssey first came out. All right. So I haven't played a video game to the space ofators. What is Minecraft? Anyone? Anyone? Well, I think I can answer that question, but we have a video game expert on the show in Jaden Grimes. So I'm going to step to the side and let the expert cook here. All right, guys. Is it like, would I be correct in saying that it's like Sims, but with cartoon characters? Not really. No, Minecraft is this world where you control everything. I mean, everything's a cube. It's everything's the square. You can build houses. You can fight creatures. You can do literally anything you want in Minecraft. It's a sandbox. Hmm. A sandbox. Well, Mike Tom on had a three and nine playoff record while playing Minecraft, true or false grabs. If each spent more time on his game plan,

then video games, the Steelers may have another super bowl or two. False. If they had a better plan for when Ben Roth was burger retired, they would have had a better record in the playoffs. Mike Tomlin's a hell of a coach. He always had the defense ready to go. They're pretty good on special teams. They had a Trocious Quarterback play and their offense was stale for years. They could never overcome that. And that's not really his specialty anyway. I like the fact that he's connecting with the kiddos playing video games. I try and do the same thing. I play a game called Fall Guys with my son, which is it's less of a building thing and more of like a competition against others that are online doing like obstacle courses fun. So cam ward sister posted on social media that she's tired of getting threats from those people who are upset, upset with the way cam ward is playing as the quarterback of the Titans. The fan disappointment hit a climax this past week after an interception at the end of the game.

Cost the Titans in a 12 seven loss to the giant cravit's. Cam. Cam ward came out with a quote yesterday where he says these fans are just weirdos. Listen, I mean, the day people are weird. They can save whatever they want at the end of the day. But I think football take care of a lot of it. You know, my family know the position I'm in. And you know, they know, you know, what I want it, you know, my whole life. They're in this position as well with me. At the end of the day, you know, we all, you know, take within ourselves only myself, but every guy in the locker room who's going to go through adversity at some point. And you know, at the end of the day, just like a teeter, you know, prepare the same way, a teeter, you know, state the same person. You can never get too high, never get too low. And then the day, you make plays on football, feel everything else, you know, handles the cell. At the end of the day, he needs to quit saying at the end of the day, but, but but cravit. Sure, false people who anonymously threaten athletes or threaten anybody on social

media are the worst kind of cowardly scum. Oh, true. Nothing bothers me more. If you're not willing to say something to somebody's face, you should not put it out online. If you're willing to do that, then go ahead, throw it out there, but I'm guessing that 99% of you that talk trash or God forbid you tag them. It's one thing if you complain about all those a terrible pick by cam ward. He's awful. And you just wrote that and put it online is different than tagging cam ward or his family members and saying that exact same thing. And we know that I'm being very tame with what I'm saying folks are saying online. It is the scum of the earth, the people that are willing to go that far in criticizing somebody else, flip that mirror on yourself and ask yourself, are you that good at everything that you do every single day? And would you like to be called out

like that for the stupid mistakes that you make? The chances are no. Fans can be fans, but idiots should always be reprimanded. The Kravitz I'll tell you later in the show when I got threatened one time and how I handled it. Okay, so there's a little tease for later in the show straight. Hey, what do we got coming up? Well, my friend, we're talking Jacksonville Jaguars football because we're on TV and Jacksonville starting today. Up next, have the Jags slowly taken over the state of Florida from a fan perspective. We'll get to that next. Game on would be on Kim Kravitz. Let's talk about Mills airs football season means packed stadiums packed sports bars, your AC still working over time. So if your house starts to feel more like the sidelines in Florida

in September, don't sweat it out. Just call Mills air conditioning, whether you need a repair, routine maintenance, or it's finally time for a new system. The team at Mills is going to get you feeling comfortable once again, they're local dependable. They're ready when you need them. You enjoy football. You leave the sweating to the players. You sit back and relax with a nice cool AC system. Call Leon in the crew. Schedule your appointment and tell them that Brandon Kravitz from Game On sent you by it's Mills air.com. Go and find them today and be their next cool customer. Jackson. Krav's as I've told you many, many times, is anybody who's read my column as anybody

who's listening to this show knows I have been driving the Jaguagon here in Orlando. I've already told you Orlando needs to jump on this Jaguagon. I've got young Jayden Grimes, a former Philadelphia Eagles fan and he has discarded that team and jumped on the Jaguagon because of the Jaguars. In my opinion, well, they are going to be playing in Orlando next year, but in my opinion, I'm thinking even bigger than Orlando. Grats, I'm thinking, forget Orlando, the Jacksonville Jaguars have a chance to be the team in the entire state of Florida, the NFL team in the state of Florida. I'm not sure they haven't already become that quite frankly. I'm not sure that they haven't already become that dolphins fans. Come on, the dolphins have been irrelevant for years. They haven't want to play off game and how long Kravitz more than 25 years. Well, I was in the building

the last time that it happened like, yeah, I was in the year 2000. So 25 plus years, a quarter century plus one and the Buccaneers, they're O and three right now. And let's face it, the Buccaneers, yeah, when Brady was here, yeah, for that one brief moment of time, the Buccaneers captured everybody's imagination. But before Brady and after Brady, they've been in my mind, they've essentially been irrelevant. Yes, they've won that bad division. I understand that. But they're they're not interesting. The Jaguars, are you kidding me, Kravitz? Trevor Lawrence is a matinee idol. The guy's good looking. He's engaging. He seems like an all around good guy. The fans are attracted to him. Liam Cohen, young, offensive minded, quotable, candid, compare him to

Todd Boles. Compare him even Jeff Haftley has sort of that hard edge defensive coordinator. Liam Cohen is he's a guy that fans can embrace. The Jaguar, even the Jaguar's team color, teal is the coolest color in the state. You can't deny it, Kravitz? I am not going to argue with you. Maybe it's because I'm in a good mood today as we are alive on television and Jacksonville. But when I started thinking about this topic, I thought, let me see if I can make an argument for why the Jaguars would be the most popular team in the state or at least on the path to becoming the most popular team inside of the state. And the more I dug into it, the more evidence I found for myself for things that people care about in 2026. The thought for a while, and I think even still exists for a lot of folks, is that the dolphins

are the most popular team in the state. Why Mike? Because they've been around the longest. Right. Okay. But that's we're talking about it's 2026 now. A lot of sports fans are dead. Are listening to this? Those people might be dead. Yes. Right. That's my that's my demographic. All right. A lot of people who grew up with me are dead. So, so let's talk about my demographic. Right. And not and even some folks that are a little bit younger than me. If you're born in 1990, 1990 or 36 years old right now, and you have think about what you've seen since then, the dolphins have had very little success. The Jaguars have been to the AFC title game twice in your lifetime. So that's the more fascinating team in terms of success. Now some people had point like you mentioned to the bucks, the bucks had success, but the bucks had mercenary success. Tom Brady showed up in Tampa and basically handed them a championship. It wasn't like it was organically

built. And it's never cool as a fan to just latch onto the team that's automatically the best in the league. You want to be a part of a rise. It feels more natural and fan friendly that way. The Jags for folks that were born after 1990 1996 AFC title game 2018 AFC title game. 13 wins last year. You've got tie-ins for college football fans inside the state like Bordles for UCF fans, Fred Taylor for Gator fans, hell, even Greg Jones the running back who FSU fans absolutely love played for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Right now for those playing fantasy football, you've got more starting fantasy options on the Jaguars than any other team inside of the state. And for some people that love to gobble up jerseys or have a favorite player, well, your favorite player for the bucks probably doesn't play for the bucks anymore because his name was Mike Evans. Do you know who has sold the most jerseys in the NFL among state of Florida players? Any guess as to who that might be

of guys that are currently on either the Jags bucks or dolphins. Traver Lawrence. It's not Traver Lawrence, but it is a Jaguar. It's Travis Hunter. So they also have a cool player and Travis Hunter that young fans can latch onto. We've also seen a rise in two team favorites. Dual loyalty for people of modern survey that I found shows that while fans have a primary team, a large portion of those fans also now support a secondary team. I think that that's anti fan loyalty but times are changing. And then one more for you Mike for my sports bettors out there. If you're betting on these teams, the bucks haven't covered a spread since the middle of last season. The dolphins haven't covered a spread yet this year. They stink. The Jaguars are the number one team in the entire league at covering the spread dating back from last year to this year. They're 14 and seven against the spread in their last 21 games. So I think the Jags could be the most

popular team in the state. You know what else the Jaguars have? They they have a lunch pale mentality. They're they're maybe their best player. Parker Washington. The guy was a sixth round draft pick number 185 overall and he had to work his tail off just to get looked at and now look at he making diving catches in the end zone. He's one of the elite receivers in the league right now. Parker washington epitomizes what fans love a guy who worked his way to the top. Give me there's there's no more embraceable player in this state than Parker Washington. And the last point that should be mentioned here, you've tried to rope me into it. You've already been able to do that with our producer Jaden Grimes is that while each market is going to latch on to their team in Jacksonville. It's primarily Jags fans. Tampa, Bucks, Miami, Dolphins. There's this

there's this populace in the middle of the state that yeah, they might have some affiliation to an NFL team, but they don't have anybody in their backyard. And I'm talking about Orlando, Florida that's about to have the Jags in in its backyard actually playing games here in this town. I do think it's going to convert a lot of fans that right now in 2026, the everyday sports fan is more wishy washi and flexible than they have ever been. And the Jags simply playing games here could take over the center of the state as well. Crab just do this for me. All right. You said you weren't going to dump your dolphins to jump on the Jag wagon. All right. But but if the dolphins as I predict go O and 17 this year, all right. The imperfect, perfect season. All right. Will you then dump them to jump on the Jag wagon? If they go O and 17, wouldn't that be enough to make you say, okay, that's embarrassing enough. Enough. I'm jumping on the Jag wagon. I will make that

agreement with you right now that the dolphins have to win a football game this year to retain my fandom. That's what's on the line. That's my challenge to the Miami dolphins and Mike, if they don't, I will meet you on the Jag wagon. I'll even help with gas. There you go. There you go. I'll save a spot. And that right there is what makes the Jags the most popular team in the state per hour lens. More game on coming up right around the bend. Don't move a muscle. Game on with Bianchi and Kravitz. I've been watching Ted Lasso every week is new episodes drop and I swear I'm not doing this on purpose. This is not just a Ted Lasso quote segment, but every episode there's one line in the episode that I puffed up to pause the TV and write it down because it's so good and it fits what we do on this show so well. The quote is what's good for the B is good for the hive. I've never heard that before, but the Ted Lasso himself delivered that one while talking up a player in the locker room and it resonated. The phrase meaning that an individual's well-being

is inseparable from the well-being of the community. What's good for you is good for everybody else. Do you subscribe to that belief, Mike? Or you could look at it the other way. I sort of subscribe to it. What's good for the hive is good for the B, I think is better. Because that way the hive is the team. What's good for the team is good for the individual because you want your team to be successful. Yeah, what's good for the B? Yeah, okay, the B. The B can be successful, but what about all the other Bs in the hive? What if they're not successful? If the whole hive is like a rising tide lifts all boats, is it the same? Yeah, the rising tide is the hive. That's the entire ocean is the hive. And when the hive rises, every individual boat lifts up.

I think that's why I found this quote unique and interesting is because we've always heard it told that sort of theory that philosophy told from the direction of the mass lifting the individual. But this is the inverse of that. This is the individual doing what's best for them so that they're better for everybody else. In fact, they teach you this when you get on an airplane. Well, if for whatever reason you were to lose cabin pressure, the first thing you do is not take a mask and put it over the person next to you. I loved one a child, even though that would be our instinct. Let me help somebody that's weaker that I'm responsible for. The first thing you're supposed to do is put the mask over yourself so that you can be of assistance to other people. What's good for the bee is good for the hive. Okay. Okay. Now I would love to see either one of us

in that stressful situation. Now, I don't actually want to see it, but I would just scream. I think your your mask wouldn't be working so you just steal the person's neck to use mask. Why? That thing. Smart text question today. Since we are on television sports television and it's a throwback Thursday, we're going to combine the two. What is your favorite old school sports TV show? I've got a couple that instantly come to mind, but Mike, I will defer to you because you have a larger bank of old shows to dig through than I do. What comes to mind first for you? You can text in 50857 you can also hit us up in the rage cage. If you want a chance to win the four pack of tickets to Gators, ghosts and goblins at Gatorland. Well, of course, I've got a list. I've got a list for you, Kravitz. Okay. I have a list is what I've a list of my list only is three on them though.

Mindless has five. Number one, championship wrestling from Florida hosted by Gordon Soley. All right. One o'clock every Saturday afternoon must watch TV for all the kids who grew up in Florida, especially in North Florida. And they would promote, you know, they would promote the wrestling matches coming up at the Jacksonville Coliseum. And we drive over to Jacksonville on Thursday night and watch the wrestling matches at the old Coliseum. So championship wrestling from Florida Monday night football when it was special. All right. When it was special. All right. Now it's just another weeknight football game. It used to be Monday night football with Howard Coasell, Frank Gifford and Don Meredith. It was special. It was must see. That's where you saw all the highlights from the previous week's game before they had highlights on TV. That was the only chance you got to see all the other games. You didn't have red zone back then. Monday night football. Number three, NBC Major League baseball game of the week. We had one baseball game a week. We could watch. And

everybody watched it. Jayden Grimes told me the other day he hasn't watched in his lifetime an entire baseball game from beginning until end. All right. We used to watch a baseball game from beginning till end every single Saturday on Monday night. All right. Or I'm sorry. I'm Major League baseball's game of the week. Then ABC's Wild World of Sports. They would have all sorts of different weird sporting events. And if Ali fought Frazier that previous week, they would re-air that fight on ABC Wild World of Sports. And you get to watch the big fight and watch all these other weird sporting events that they ton of 500 actually debuted on ABC's Wild World of Sports. And fifth you're going to laugh at this one. Pro bowling. Pro bowling used to come on. You're pro bowling. You mean like when the AFCs best player. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. AFCs best bowl. Actual bowling. It was host. The bowling ball and bowling ball. With a bowling ball. Chris Shankle was the host. And

it got great ratings back then. You you on Carter, some of the great Earl Anthony, some of the great bowlers of the past abs bowling used to be a pretty major sport back then. Yeah. And Agnes loves bowling. Tell you that. Gupy, Coup. And if you go before five, Mike, you get hand-fought pizzas. So my top three, you went with a so interesting approach. I didn't go with actual sporting events. You went with sporting events and you threw wrestling in there, which I'm a little jealous of because I had I even thought about throwing wrestling in as a sport. I would have done that too. But my list is a little bit different than yours. My favorite throwback sports TV shows. One sports reporters. Sunday morning with a cup of coffee in my hand watching sports

reporters was peak living. That is where I developed any intellectual opinion I had on sports came from that show while I was growing up watching Big Fat Bill Conlon, expounding on sports. Oh, yeah, I made me feel so smart. That is really what's real. I fell in love with coffee in the morning was was Sunday mornings watching sports reporters and they're debating you know, Kobe and Shaq's relationship and things like that. That's one of the on sports reporters one time, by the way, I'll tell you that story later as well. And you turn it down. No, the my boss at the Sentinel needed me to cover a game on Sunday and would not allow me to go. Yeah. Boy, how do you how do you think that conversation would go in 2026? I would say promotion, promotion, promotion, versus going to a game. The second one for me is American Gladiators, Turbo, Blaze, all the Nitro, all the cool characters. It was all American.

It was tough. Everybody was roided up and they would take on the everyday Joe. It was like American Ninja warriors before that became a thing. So cool. Love that show. And then the last one there were only 13 episodes of this. I don't know if you remember this Mike, but in the early 90s, there was a cartoon called pro stars. It featured Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson and Wayne Gretzky. They were a team. They were a superhero team. They were like the justice league and they would work out of an underground garage called mom and pop. And they would fight villains with their sports gadgets. It was such a random show. But I loved it as a kid. That's where I developed the strong love for Michael Jordan and Bo Jackson in particular. Speaking of ABC, Wild World of Sports and old cartoons shows, Harlem Globetrotters used to be a cartoon. They would show the Harlem Globetrotters on Wild World of Sports once a year. And it was like appointment TV back then. Travis.

The club. Oh, this is the day the club drivers are on. Yeah. Yeah, what a wild world we used to live in. Text in your faves, 50857 or you can hit us up in the rage cage. We'll dig through some of those coming up right after the break. Game on with Bianca and Kravitz. The time is now imagine picking winners and it netting you two million dollars in cash. It's hard rock bets free to play survivor contest. And here's how it works starting this week in the NFL right now. You can pick one winner to win each week. You pick a winner, you survive. You pick a loser and you're out. Keep surviving and advancing all season long for your shot at two million dollars. And if more than one survivor makes it the end with an exploit, the giant sum of cash. It's all on hard rock bet. Florida's only legal sports book. Tonight we've got two great sporting events. I'm going cross sport. Steeler's Browns under 38 points scored.

Also through a little bit of a little sprinkle, a couch cushion money on Harold Fanon 12th one to be the first touchdown score. And I like the braves to close out the Phillies tonight in game three teams that win game one and a best of three win the series 97% of the time we're getting the braves at minus 105 have fun tonight. Make sure that you're locked in on hard rock for week for survivor free to play. No purchase necessary offered by the seminal tribal Florida must be 21 plus and physically present in Florida to wager terms and conditions apply concerned about your gambling call or text 1833 play wise. Magic and you're locked into game on with Bianchi and crab. Back here on why you left? Yeah, what? What? I'm not laughing. Jaden's laughing. I want to know why he's laughing too. I turned on the stream and the first thing I see was Mike Bianchi blow it

his nose. How can I laugh? Yeah, yeah, that's been the last week of our stream is Bianchi's mucous fast. Yeah, the little mucous working. Okay. Like, like weights until the camera gets flipped back on. I didn't know that he was going to flip it on right at that moment. So Jaden sucks apology all over again. I thought I was beating the, you know, getting in ahead of the gun. I didn't, I feel like we didn't get enough play out of out of famous speeches from world history that would get cut off by Mike Bianchi. Yeah, that should have, we should have come up with a list of that. The only thing we have to fear is yeah, yeah, we're not scared. It's okay. Enough of that old tired speech. All right, let's get to it. Text five or eight or I could have interrupted Abe Lincoln and said, wouldn't it be better if you said four score and seven beers ago instead of years?

Let's see seven beers ago. Go out there and win one for the guy. Hey, hey, we don't need to be told why we're winning football games. Okay. Come on now. Have it. As I said yesterday, after your bisectomy, you need to go win one for the snipper. We'll take, we'll take motivation where we can get it. Let's go to the talk back line and hear from Michael. What's going on, fellas? You guys got some weird lists sometimes. What? Some of your lists, both dogs are usually pretty good. BK, you usually got some outlandish stuff on your list. But neither of you said sports machine, George Michaels sports machine. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Is that your top list of TV sports shows? That was one. Yeah.

Yeah, I don't even know what that is. I never remember that. I believe that was a little bit before your time. Yeah, George George Michael. Well, I'm trying to remember what station is on T. George Michael from WAM. George Michael. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And but it's not the same George Michael. It was on. I can't remember what it was on, but it was essentially a sports sort of common sports wrap up commentary show. And it was on every every Sunday night, I think sports nation. I remember with Colin Coward and Michelle Beetle. That was a good one. More game on on the way back with that shortly and update on the UCF nights right now. We will take a quick pause and let the talented folks and Fox Sports radio get y'all cut up with the latest in sports. Two big games to preview. I'm sure they'll get to that in moments. We're back in 66.

Come on with the Anke and Cravins. Today's update on the UCF nights brought to you by Trey Flynn Law your fee free case evaluation just to click or phone call away visit trade Flynn dot com or dial 407 557 635 0 arrested today. Oh, Trey. Sean Green host of the UCF charge on podcast joins us for his weekly visit. I watched a bit of your post game on Saturday. Sean great job done by you on the YouTube feed. You're on the field and you were buzzing man. You were pretty geeked up about the victory. So what has you all fired up about this one? I'm assuming it's because you expected it about as little as we did. Yeah, it was also because it was about 830 which is early for me. So I had all my energy. You prepared the like an 1130 12 o'clock, but no, it was great. I mean, Yali Kretner were credit to do. UCF came out with a win at home against a conference opponent star one and

know and it was much better than any of us expected. And I think I was saying in the press box, TCU was giving me flashbacks to 2024 UCF. It looked like a Gus Melzon ran team. So great that they weren't on that side, but good win for UCF. So what got into the quarterback? Kwan Jenkins was, I mean, he looked like a completely different person to me. I didn't even recognize him. Yes, it was dink and dunk, but it was effective. All I was looking for was consistent accuracy. I didn't think that we would get it from him. And he proved that he could do that. So was there, do you put that on him? Is it the play calling? What exactly from your lens got into Jenkins to help him with a performance like that? You know, I do think it was a lot of things. You do have to give credit to Kwan Jenkins, like the one in completion he had was his only bad throw. And if he would have just waited about a couple more seconds, there would have been a guy wide open. You had to give credit to the

staff. I think they really had a really good game plan to get guys open the offensive line. I mean, he had all the time in the world to throw and get guys open in space. So I think it was a combination of everything. And they're going to have to have that this Saturday. But if they have that I called Kwan Jenkins, like the perfect game manager. And I know I said that's such a negative term nowadays. When you say it, it's almost like an insult. But I think in this case, it is a huge compliment. Like he did not let, and yes, he had the fun bowls and he's got to clean that up. But in terms of just running the offense, the offense has floated as probably the best in Scott Frost has been here. And that's saying a lot. I don't want to reign on this parade at all. Okay, I do not. All right. But Jenkins did complete 95 percent of his passes. But UC have still only had, I think it was 266 yards of offense against TCU. Is that just brilliant game management or is this offense still way too limited to compete with

the big boys in the big 12? Well, I'll say this, Mike. I think if you look at UCF's offensive output, they've run like one of the least amount of plays in the entire College of Paul Landscape. Like they've run like 50 to 53 plays in the last three weeks. So, you know, I think it's a combination of a couple things. Yes, you are right. Like TCU outgain UCF offensively by like 100 yards. I'll be at three of those are like 50 yard passes. So I think it doesn't tell you the full story. But again, I look at it with the eye test. I don't really look at yards like look at with custom amount of bond offense. UCF was top 10 in yards in the entire country, but they would still lose because they can't put points on the board. So I look at right zone efficiency when UCF gets down there. They usually score points. I look at how effectively do they move the ball? There's rarely times on Saturday where they got stopped by the TCU defense. They continue to move the ball effectively. And I think that's the recipe to win. Don't beat yourself. Keep drives alive to make

sure your defense isn't spending two thirds of the game on the field. And I think when UCF does that, they give them themselves the best chance to win. The offense is this flash. As you guys remember, we all see that. But when it's efficient and effective, it can do wonders for you. I heard one of my friends was at the game and he said he said the crowd was okay, but not great. Yeah. What's what's UCF have to do to actually pat that place instead of just announcing a bunch of you know, a big crowd actually getting that place packed. Well, I mentioned it right. I've mentioned last week that I I hope that it doesn't take free hot or you know, the hot dog pass and the pretzel swords to get fans in the game and look like it's going to take winning football at this point. But what I will say is yes, I've been disappointed with UCF crowds over the last couple years. In the fourth quarter, when TCU was driving and kicking the field goal, the place

was extremely loud. Like if you were there, the entire side of the tower side was completely full. A lot of the students did stay on the one end. I just think UCF has to start winning more football games and I shocked that they put family weekend for the Georgia State game and not this game. It was a week later. First big 12 game. I think the Georgia State, there was way more people that for Georgia State giving to his family weekend. I think if UCF could win one of these games in the next two weeks against a ranked opponent and BYU is going to be packed, right? It's just to get the BYU. I do think fans will start coming for a team that has opening record coming back home. I truly do and I know UCF fans will at some point start coming back. Big win against TCU, but if they were able to go on the road in that 10 game road losing streak and beat a ranked team, that would really ratchet up the interest in this team and ratchet up

confidence in Scott Frost program. Would it not? 100%. This is the time to do. You've got three weeks of playing ranked opponents. Obviously you have a biweek before playing BYU, but going on the road to play number 20 Houston is a huge kind of test. Again, they've got three cracks at ranked opponents to try and get an upset. I think if you can just come out of the with one win beating a ranked opponent, I definitely think the title will start to shift. You're three in one. You're first big 12 opponent that you need to beat and I think going into this weekend, I think there is blood in the water because this Houston team in my opinion isn't as good as the ranking. And I think UCF has a chance to hold the upside here. So Kravitz asks Jeff Colhane, the radio voice of the Florida State Seminole's yesterday about Florida's success and Miami's success. And does that make Florida State fans jealous? I'm going to ask you that question as well. When you see what the gators are doing

their first year under John Summarron, you see what Miami's doing. They were in the national championship game last year and they look to be even better this year. Does that do you see if fans get a little jealous when they see the success of other state teams? So I'll say this. I was a huge John Summarron fan when he was at Tulane. I wanted UCF to go after John Summarron. Obviously that didn't happen. Looking at the success of those programs, also this Mike, I was more jealous when UCF was in the American conference, which I don't know if that's that sounds right. But I think for UCF fans and me specifically, I think they're we are so highly focused on just UCF being good in the big 12. I do think the Florida of it all has kind of washed away. Like I don't think Florida, I don't think Florida State fans are looking at Florida like all jealous. I think Florida State fans just want Mike Norville fired and to have a good football team again. I don't think they're worried about Miami. I think yeah, they're like I wish we were

there. But I think nowadays in the NIL and everything of it all, they're just wanting good football. And I think if you're UCF, you just want to be considered on the upper echelon of the big 12. You're not necessarily looking at Florida like, oh, I wish we were them. I think that just like I want to go to a bowl game and then see if we get built from there. I was listening to we're talking Sean Green hosted the UCF charge on podcast. Those listening to some national college football hosts that were previewing this game, just getting idea of what the national scope was on this. And one of the hosts said they think if UCF wins this game, they'll be ranked in the top 25 next week. I kind of put my eyebrow up when I heard that I'm not sure if that's true. Do you get that impression that if UCF won this game against a ranked opponent on the road that they would be a top 25 team going in the next week? Absolutely not. No. Yeah. No, I have just, you know, I guess I'm breaking it here, but I picked you. I'm picking you

to have to win this game. I am picking them to win this game. I think they do have some stuff going against them, but they also have some stuff going for them. Like I said, I think Houston's offense is really good. It's one of the better offences UCF's going to see all year. Defensively, Houston is 129th in the nation and passing offense. We're passing yards allowed. So they give up a lot of yards to the air. And I think the way that UCF has kind of, I guess last week, got receivers open. They're not going to be able to run the football this weekend. Houston is really good against the run. They're six in the nation. So again, it's going to look a lot like the pit game, but I think if UCF can pass through the air on this Houston team, like so many teams have done this year. I do think they have a really good chance. The crowd is going to be non-existent. If you got last week was bad for UCF, wait till you see Houston's crowd. Like it's not going to feel like a road game. Especially 11 a 11 a.m. kickoff as well. Exactly. So I think UCF comes in. You see there's nobody in the crowd. And I think it takes a lot of pressure off, whereas next week going

to Oklahoma State, they're going to be sold out packed out. And I think a better team. So it's definitely a test for UCF, but I think this is your chance to get one. Yeah, I tend to agree. I'm starting to drink the cool aid with the UCF nights. One of the best teams in the country in terms of turnover margin. If they can do that on the road, they'll put themselves in a really good spot. Sean Green, host of the UCF charge on podcasts. Always appreciate your insights on the nights. Thank you. I appreciate it. Crab. Crab. You think UCF's going to win? Is that is that what I'm hearing? Well, I'm I am open to the idea, but I can tell you I have already bet them plus 12 in this game. I do like come to cover this Fred. Okay. We'll see. We'll see about the win. But I'm, you know, I'm in the cover business, Mike. So let's see if we can get that first up next. It's a party. It's a bash. Hold the pollutes the time here on Game on.

Five questions that we throw out on our main hub Twitter account at 969

game on every Thursday afternoon and you can go and vote on them. Five questions. All minebenders let's get into it right now. All question number one. Where do you think Florida offensive coordinator buster fault there will be working next season three options still at Florida. Major P4 head coaching job or as an NFL offensive coordinator. He is not long for the Florida Gators. It does seem they'd have to really give this man a hell of a raise. Almost regardless of how the rest of the season goes without impressive. He's looked early on this year. Buster Faulkner in line for a hell of a either pay raise or a job. Mike what do you say? Where is he next year? Uh I think he could be in the NFL but why would he do that if his if his motivation is to be a head coach. Well then go be a head coach. There will be some major P4 jobs

open next season maybe even in Tallahassee. So I think he's going to be a P4 head coach next year. You know obviously you'd like to see him staying games bill but why would he if he has a chance to go make seven eight million dollars a year to be a head coach and that is his goal anyway is to be a head coach. So do it while you got the chance. Yeah I agree I think he'll be a major P4 head coach after this season. He is not long for the Florida Gators. It just sort of is what it is. I'm trying to figure out where he could potentially end up. You know Lincoln Riley are things going as well as they want them to be going with USC is dealing him a one year sort of fix or Kyle winning him. I mean for for Michigan. There are some major jobs. You never know the SEC is a

constant carousel of coaches. Yeah I mean he oh Oklahoma that would be that I was trying to find the perfect one. Brent and Venables. Yeah. Why not make it? I can see him at Oklahoma. Yeah how's that how's that extension looking that Oklahoma gave Brent Venables just I think this past off season. I mean why do these schools do this? Why do they continue to give extensions after one or two good seasons? It just makes no sense. South Carolina would be another one. Right. A&M. Yeah there's a lot of good options out there. Clemson. I just can't see them moving off of Davos. It's possible. So anyway back to the vote. Still at Florida 64% of the vote is the leading vote right now. Okay Gator fans wishful thinking. Very much so 28% say a P4 job and only 7% say is an offensive coordinator in the NFL. How Mike if he keeps this up he might you might have a head coaching

opportunities in the NFL. Whole question number two if the buck start winning with Jalen Daniels as their quarterback should the team keep Baker Mayfield on the bench in three weeks when he's healthy. Yes or no. What do you mean about winning like winning one game they win one game in the next day. So Baker Mayfield is expected to be out three weeks at least three weeks. Let's say Baker Mayfield's a tough guy so I don't think he's going to extend much beyond those three weeks. They have the Packers this week and Dallas and then Pittsburgh if the if the bucks go two and one over their next three games and their offense looks like it has a spark and Baker Mayfield's healthy. Do you put Jalen Daniels on the bench? Should he keep them as the starting quarterback while the team has revived itself? Hey, yeah. The bucks made their bed. Now they have to lay in it. All right. All right. This bed was not made by Todd Boles. Todd Boles did not sign him to it.

Okay, but the bed was the bed was made by Jason like the GM who gave Baker Mayfield $55 million a year for the next three years. So you made that investment in Baker Mayfield. You can't just bench him when the undrafted free agent rookie goes two and one. So no, you put Baker Mayfield back in the game. I think it's beyond the record. It has not looked good this year with Baker Mayfield. If it looks good and they're two and one, I think I think you do the old PR trick and that injury is just lingering a little bit. It's taken him longer to get back and you just kind of ride it out. I've got news for you. I've got news for you. He's not going to look good and they're not going to go two and one. Okay. A fun fact for you, Mike. A quarterbacks who were not the weak one starter for their respective teams this year in the NFL

are six and oh straight up. How many of those quarterbacks are undrafted free agents who've never started a game in their life? No, 62% of the vote say no. They should not keep Baker Mayfield on the bench of Jalen Daniels has success. 37% of the vote says yes. It's closer than I expected though. Pull question number three. Do you accept Jalen Sugg's media day apology that was interrupted by Mike Bianchi for the way that he played in the Magic Piston series last postseason. Do you accept his apology? Yes, classy move. No, I will never forgive him or just stay healthy. Please well, I think that's going to win the vote. Just stay healthy. Please, but the reason I interrupted his apology was to accept his apology. So absolutely, I accept the apology. I thought it was genuine. I thought it was heartfelt. I thought it was classy. So and I thought it shows that Jalen

Sugg's really cares. So I loved it. I loved what he did. I'm just sorry I interrupted it. Just stay healthy. Please, 55% of the vote. I accept his apology. Jalen Sugg's is all class. I really like him. He provides so much energy and intensity to the Magic when he's on the floor. He does have to stay healthy. I'm fine with that being a vote, but I accept his apology. 32% of the votes say they accept it. 12% say they will never forgive him, but just stay healthy wins the vote as Bianchi had predicted. Pull question number four. A checkup on the age old question, which state of Florida NFL team is the most popular inside the walls of Orlando. So our number one op story today is can the Jags possibly be the most popular team inside the state of Florida? This poll question is strictly isolating to the walls of central Florida, which team is the most popular in Orlando? Jags, bucks, dolphins. I think if you were to read some sort of survey, it would

dolphins, bucks, Jags. But let's see if it's changed. What would you say? I'm driving the damn Jag Jag wagon. Of course, it's the Jag Wars. They're the best team. They're the coolest team. They've got a quarterback who is engaging, good looking, all of that stuff. They stand for all the right things. They're a blue collar town with a blue collar team. It's got to be the Jaguars. The bucks and the dolphins are boring. Well, the vote isn't even split. 33.3% for all three teams. How about that? Hey, you jacks. Hey, you jacks and billions up there watching us on action sports jacks. Get on our polls and vote. No surprise here. As I have said many times, the 15 years I've been doing this. I'm still trying to figure out the answer to this question. And I don't know

it. And this result does not help. Whole question number five. Which do you dread more as a man of Sektomy or a colonoscopy? Mike likes both of them. So I guess I don't know. Yeah. You can't even answer this. For me, it would be which do you love more as a man? And I would say all of the above, the Vasectomy and the colonoscopy. I enjoyed both procedures when I've had them. So, uh, yeah, I'm going to be out of the next question. But if I had the answer, which do I dread more, it would probably be the Vasectomy because when you get the colonoscopy, you get to drink that stuff that cleans you out. I love the feeling of being cleaned out. It's like a colonic almost. You clean your colon out. I love that. You don't get anything like that with a Vasectomy. I mean, that's basically your diet every single day with your bone broth. No surprise that you enjoy that process. I've never had to anticipate a colonoscopy. I have

with the Vasectomy. So I'll choose Vasectomy. 65% of the vote say that they dread the Vasectomy more than the colonoscopy questions. I never thought we'd be asking you're on game on. Welcome to the TV audience in Jacksonville. This is what you've signed yourself up for. That is Paula Paloza up next. We'll rattle through some of our favorite responses throughout the course of the day. Game on continues after this. Game on with Bianchi and Crabbits will be right back after this. Hello, it is a r- this is Anthony Black with The Orlando Magic and you're locked into game on with Bianchi and Cravitz. Somebody on the text line at 50857 said Bianchi describing in detail his love for colonoscopies is easily the most hilarious and simultaneously disturbing thing I've heard on this show. And true. You've, you've not done yourself, Mike. Wait till Christmas time. You just wait. If you think it's bad now, folks, oh boy, you got something coming.

An interesting tip to have a crush on Claymation Reindeer is everybody knows that. Yeah, and he'll describe that to you in detail right around December 15th. Interesting tidbit before we get back to the audience of all of the quarterbacks that were drafted this year in the NFL. Number one overall, the first pick was a quarterback for Nando Mendoza. Carson Beck looked good in the Hall of Fame game. We had all sorts of fun with that. Cade Club Nick. Tyson Simpson was the first round pick. Number three. The first rookie, the first rookie quarterback to start a game this year in the NFL. Jalen Daniels. Hmm. This has to be the first time in NFL history that a quarterback was drafted. Number one overall and an undrafted free agent became the first rookie quarterback to start that year. When he throws about four picks on Sunday and the bucks get demolished, the headline should be

Hey, Jalen, you're not in Kansas anymore. That's great. Right. Baker may feel your job is safe. I like that. I like the Wizard of Oz spin. Let's go to the talk back line and hear from David. I think Thursday night football this Thursday night has some interesting getting on. I'm pretty sure all these settings lines have to do with the history of these teams and the trends. But I'll tell you what, just bet the Steelers. I have a feeling that everything that's historical is not going to be correct. It's going to be in Aaron Rodgers. I'm going to win this game tonight. What's this spirit on this game, Kravitz? Oh, look, David has a feeling. Okay. So do no more research than that. David's got a feeling.

I have a feeling to. Steelers, Steelers minus two and a half. Oh, take the Steelers all day. The Browns are people are getting way too carried away with the Browns. They're they're they're feeling themselves now. They're no way. No way. Do they win this game tonight? No way. So you like your you like your trends? I got a I got a nice trend for you. I'm on the under, by the way, I'm not taking either side Aaron Rodgers 13, five and one on Thursday nights over the course of his career. But I don't really like the Aaron Rodgers career stats because he used to be one of the best two best quarterbacks in the NFL. That's not the case anymore. Though he did look like it last week at home on Thursday night. The Browns are 10 and two straight up as a franchise. They have won nine Thursday night games in a row. You put the Browns on Thursday night and they will figure out a way to win. What's crazy about this game, Mike, is that whoever comes out on top

is in first place of the AFC North. I never thought I would say it, but I'm actually excited to watch the Brown Steelers tonight. Before the season, I was like I would dread this game. But right now it's now your plan now your plan and for fan and yeah, absolutely. I got Harold Fanon Jr. I'm my fantasy team. I hope the Browns win and Harold Fanon scores and up another couple of touchdowns. Yeah. That's right. That's right. I'm I'm big on I was trying to come up with a rhyme for Quinshot Judgans, but I couldn't get there. Okay, let's get to the text line 50857. Let's see, Bianchi. Now I already read that one. I can't use my phone right now, but I'm voting for Jacksonville talking about the most popular teams inside of the state of Florida. Mike, what do you mean when you say you don't mean to rain on UCF's parade? UCF has a big win at home. You choose to talk about the crowd and whether UCF fans are jealous of Florida. Of course,

you're raining on UCF's parade. Would you like to defend yourself from this listener? You asked a couple. I mean, we let Sean go on and he talked positively about UCF. When you only have 266 yards of offense and you still win the game, I think I think those questions need to be addressed as well. The only reason I asked the Florida questions was because Kravitz asked Jeff Colhane that question yesterday. I thought it was kind of an intriguing question. It was more, I will admit, it was more of a question for Florida state than UCF because Florida state and Florida are major rivals. UCF and Florida and UCF and Miami not rivals at all. So yeah. I thought Sean's response to that was intriguing, though. And it was, you know, we live in the in the analysts hosts. I like to bet you like to write columns. You know, this is the world

that we live in. This is one of the reasons we like to talk to somebody like Sean Green is because sometimes I think we have a tendency to lose sight of what the fan experiences and that he provides that for the show. And I think his answer of UCF fans are not worried about Florida. They're worried about being competitive in big 12. They want to be relevant in their own conference. Yeah. No question. That was a fascinating response. And the reason I asked about the crowd is because a buddy of mine was at the game and he said he wasn't impressed with the crowd. He's a UCF guy. So that's why I asked that question. I'm not going to apologize for the freaking questions I asked. Some decent questions. Sean, Sean even said he's a UCF guy and he says that he's been disappointed with UCF fans over the last couple of years. That's not a very good question. That was a day. My question, Billy Napier. Billy Napier. What would you want? She try giving a good answer, Billy Napier. Then maybe you get some good questions, right, Billy? That's not a very good question.

By the way, I have heard a rumor has come in. We're giving away tickets to Gaterlands, Halloween event, Gater Ghosts and Goblin Halloween. I have heard word that some of the Gater tamers will be dressed up like Billy Napier just to scare the children. That's a very good question. They're going to dress up as Billy Napier's offensive playbook. You want to talk about frightening? That's too scary. This is for the kids. It's for the kids. They don't want to frighten them. You can leave us a talk back if you want in on those Gaterland fore-pack tickets for their Halloween event. We have more to rattle through. We're going to keep it going. More from all of you. Texting 50857, rage cage us away. Also, at the top of the five o'clock hour, Miami Dolphins talk. I got a big one coming up against the Minnesota Vikings. They finally win a game. What is life like? Probably not. Without Devon H. Ann, we'll get to that now.

Game on with Bianchi and Kravitz. It doesn't matter where the road takes you. Land Rover is here to help. They've been doing so since 1971. They've been helping drivers throughout Orlando, explore the world through the lens of their gorgeous and reliable vehicles. But finding the right vehicle, that's just part of the experience. From the moment that you arrive, you're going to discover a different kind of dealership experience at Land Rover. Personalized attention, product experts who listen to a team that's committed to making every visit feel effortless. I've walked the halls in Winter Park. It's unlike anything else that I've experienced through the lens of a customer. Their sales team is so friendly, so knowledgeable. They just want to make sure that you end up in the best ride for you and your family because luxury isn't just what you drive. It's how you're treated. Luxury lives here in Winter Park and all of Orlando online at Land Rover Orlando.com.

As well, a bit of news that popped off the injury report in the NFL, the Saints have placed Travis H. Ann on IR with a hamstring injury. You mean you can say no, I don't. Unfortunately, I his name is pronounced H. Ann now changed. No, no, too late too late. You don't get to just change. I don't know what to do with this. I don't know what to do with this. It feels weird coming out of my mouth, but that's what people are. That's what he's being called. Sorry. Sorry. You don't just, you know, when you're 24 years old or 25 years old, however old he is, you don't just get to say, oh, I've been ETN my entire athletic career from high school to college to to the NFL. And now it's H. Ann that's bone deep down for the marrow stupid. Right. Well, this is an awkward time, awkward time to admit this, but my last name is actually

pronounced crevettes. So I don't mean to make life tough on you, Mike, but it's branded crevettes from now on. Okay. And I'm right. And I might be cranky. Okay. Yeah, she be honest. Let's go back to the talk back and hear from John. Two things, guys, one sports center. And I mean the real sports center where you actually got sports and highlights. And I had the ticker on the left side of the screen. That needs to be in the top sports shows. And also BK, I'm disappointed. You need a win to stick with your dolphins. Take it from a ransan who went through some of the lowest valleys. We had four wins in three years. It's worth to stick around whenever your team's back up on top. I'm just issuing a challenge. All I need is one. Just win one game and I'll be and I will, I will retain my fandom. That's all I'm asking. That's otherwise you'll be on,

otherwise you'll be on the Jaguagat. Yeah, exactly. I make football picks with my son every week. It's one of the ways that we bond together. And he looks at me with this sadness because he likes to win when the dolphins game comes up and he goes, sorry, dad, click. He picks the other team. I mean, I can't blame him. Why would you pick the dolphins? That would be a bad decision. And I feel like it's causing family trauma. So they got to win a game, got to win a game. Coming up around the bend, Chris Perkins will join us from the South Florida Sun Sentinel to talk about those pesky Miami dolphins, the injury to Devon H&N and where the team goes from here revenge game for the defensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings. Right now we pause for a moment with the talented folks at Fox Sports Radio. Get y'all caught up with the latest in sports. We are back at it more game on 5 o'clock hour in 60 seconds. Here's what you need to know.

And here's what you need to know. Billies and Braves and Game 3 tonight at the National League Wild Card Series. First pitch just after 8 o'clock Eastern time from Atlanta with the Dodgers waiting in the National League Division Series. It's Aaron Nola against Ray Kerr to start the game. And I've helped you measure the Roger Goodell met with Illinois officials today, including Governor Pritzker on the possible stadium for the Chicago Bears in the state. newly acquired Cowboys corner Joey Porter Jr. was on the practice field today and has a chance to play against the Texans this Sunday. Some notable not practicing include Jets running back three, Saul 49ers, quad receiver Mike Evans and Vikings, wide receiver Justin Jefferson, along with Eagles, Whiteout, Devon De Smith, commanders quarterback, Jayden Daniels, was limited in practice for the second straight day. They faced the Colts and London coming up on Sunday. Saints are placing running back Travis Etchian on IR with a hamstring injury. Stoels and Browns 8 15 Eastern time tonight. Atlanta Dream Center Angel Reese, the WNBA's defensive player of the year. Let's hit the local beat and see what's happening with the teams that call

the state of Florida home sending you back to the studio. It's game on with Bianchi and Cravins. This Miami defense is a bunch of young players. Jeff's one of the best defensive coaches in the league and they're going to be flying around playing fast and we just got to limit the negatives and make sure we protect the football and and the bigger plays the chunk plays will come. There you have it. Jeff Hathley, one of the best defensive coordinators in the league. He's the head coach of the Dolphins. He better be a good defensive coordinator because of the Dolphins right now is in shambles. Let's welcome in our good friend Chris Perkins, a man who I considered to be one of the best NFL writers and columnists in the country. You can check out all of his dolphins coverage at Sunsentinel.com Perk, you wrote last week that this rebuilds only going to get uglier and unfortunately you were right because now Devon H and is out for the season.

What does this do to the Dolphins already bad offense? Man, this is a crushing blow to that offense because H and as a pro bowl running back as the guy who was fifth in the league in Russian last year at 1,350 yards, he was their biggest offensive threat. Now you know you do still have all pro center Averm Brewer but let's face it either Flinnner. This is a running back. This is somebody who could put some fear in the defenses and now there's no reason to fear this offense and there's very little reason to respect this offense. That's how much of a difference Devon H and makes. So, um, Halfley says that they're going to have to use Jalen right more. What's going on with the running back situation with Oli Gordon and Jalen right? It's not good because neither of them is proven. However, I will say this. I do respect Jeff Hatsby because he wants to remain a run first offense and so that tells me that when he

said that when he came in, it's a philosophy. It's not just some pickle thing that he said based on available personnel. So let's see him lean into that offensive line. The offensive line that has an all pro two first round pits and two second round picks. You know Averm Brewer told me on Monday, Hey, if the offensive line is moving people, you can pretty much put anybody back there in the backfield and they're going to gain some yards. So let's see what the offensive line can do. I don't have a whole lot of faith in Jalen right or Oli Gordon the second, but I do have a little bit of faith in that offensive line. This was the number 13 running game in the lead last year. Of course, it was fuel by Devon H and but the offensive line did some respectable work. So let's see if they can get even better. With H and gone should the dolphins should they stop trying to make Malik Willis a conventional pocket passer and lean on his legs now. Mike, this is what's interesting

because you're kind of caught in a philosophical decision, right? That do you want Malik to risk injury and then your offense is really screwed or the one that kind of exploit the talent that's there made a Malik legs and try to, you know, do something that makes deep senses respect you. So I'm going to be very interested in seeing what they choose what Malik Willis chooses to do, how they call plays, all that kind of stuff because yeah, I could see them kind of leaning into Malik Willis's legs more, but I could also see them saying Malik, now we don't have H and we'd like you to stay in the pocket a little bit more and run a little bit less. I have no idea what the result will be, you know, two, three, four games from now. So we talked about this when he's signed the contract to Von H and for years, $64 million for a team that is in obvious rebuild mode. You don't usually start the rebuild with, hey, we got our running back and we'll build from there.

How much of that was just based on trying to keep the fans engaged Jersey sales. Do you think in hindsight or even then when he signed the contract that this was done as more of a favor to the fans than it was anything else? No, I think it was done for a lot of reasons. Number one, he was genuinely one of their three best players. They, they resigned center Ayrin Brewer, all pro linebacker Jordan Brooks, all pro and then to bond H and a pro-boulder and they said these are going to be the re-tillers of the French of the rebuild and we want to be a running team and and these are guys who do it right and look, I applaud extending the contracts of those three way more than I applauded extending Sua and Tyreak and Jalen Waddle. So the the H&N thing was this I have talented, it reflected what was going to happen anyway, right? You saw how all the running backs got paid and then they were on the front end of it so they didn't have to give H&N, Jameer Gibbs money, etc.

You know people didn't wonder is this guy a little too small? Is he going to hold up physically? Is this a wise investment? And like you said, are they trying to sell Jersey or appease the fans? I think it was a genuine effort to reward a quality player and to reinforce their philosophy of we want to be a run first offense. Talking by Amy Dolphins football with Chris Perkins who covers the team with the best of them, it's an interesting game this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings who are probably the most fraudulent of the undefeated teams remaining but they get another opportunity to bag a win here and then their defensive coordinators one of the best in the business Brian Flores who Miami Dolphins fans know well, I would think that he seems like a salty individual, he's got a chip on his shoulder, I would think he's still got ill feelings towards Miami. Do you think he will use this as fuel as sort of a revenge game and try and embarrass Miami with all of his different blitz schemes? Heck yeah! He's gonna try to blitz them every freaking down

and drive Malik Willis into the turf. I think that Flo does have a lot of heart feelings and I think he will unleash Andrew Van Dinkle the former Dolphin who they didn't resign because they were wary about his foot ailment and they're going to try to create as much havoc as they can on the Dolphins. I firmly believe that. Flo is not a guy who forgets when you have a lawsuit against the team and a league that doesn't go away very easily so yeah I'm expecting those zero blitzes to send everybody you know try and inflict pain on your former employer 100% I'd say that. So let's go back to the offense for the Dolphins Malik Washington 23 targets in three games. Do you view him as a breakout player as the Dolphins are trying to figure out who is part of that foundation of the future? Do you view him as one of those guys potentially or is he just simply the best option in the moment given their lack of options? Malik is a good receiver,

he's a tough guy, he's a slot receiver, he's a kickoff return, he's a punt returner, but he'll probably never be an all pro or I should say a pro bowl player. He's good but he just doesn't have kind of that difference making talent so yeah they're going to lean on Malik Washington you know he looks he got some carries last week at the emergency number three running back. That could be the case again this week but he's not going to scare anybody he's going to get you over the hump and he's going to be reliable for Malik Willis but he's not going to scare that Minnesota defense and he's not going to lead you to victory so while they have something reliable in Malik Washington for for you know gain winning or difference making purposes that's not really the guy. I want to wrap my portion of this chat going off the beaten path a little bit with you. It might be a competitor of yours but I know that there's a brotherhood amongst those that cover the Miami Dolphins day in and day out. Hal Habib who's been one of the best to do it for years

announced that he had his last day with the Palm Beach Posts. Could you speak on your relationship with him your thoughts on his career and what he meant to Dolphins fans down in South Florida? Yeah Hal is one of the absolute best journalists I've ever worked with and worked against to work with him for seven years at the Palm Beach Posts and today is his last day so as a matter of fact in around 15 minutes we're going to have a little going away celebration for him but a top notch editor and writer which you don't see very often in this business so he's got over 30 years down here excellent feature writer a guy who covered I don't know maybe five or six Olympics and did everything with with class and care. You know a guy who didn't just chase clicks or you know sensational headlines who had really dig in there and get to the essence of a story or an event so Hal is definitely going to be missed. He's one of my absolute favorites and I appreciate you asking

about that. Wow. Perk Mike McDaniel did he totally lose his mojo with the Dolphins because the Chargers offense stinks just in Herbert stinks now what's going on with Mike McDaniel? Man Mike I told people down here for four years that this offense is kind of shaky that it doesn't show up all the time and especially in this case with the Dolphins it didn't show up against good teams they were five and twenty two against playoff teams I didn't expect it to be this bad this quickly with the charges where you always four 14 against Arizona and week one I just wanted to say four 14 14 13 or something like that yeah this offense is struggling I've got to admit I'm a little bit shocked at how bad it's been there's two ex dolphins coaches on that staff Adam Gase is also on that offense of coaching staff so how they sprued that up this badly I have no idea but this is I didn't expect big things from the Mike McDaniel offense but this is way worse than

what I thought we were going to see especially early on especially when you only score 14 against Arizona and the opener hey real quick last one you you were talking about Brian Flores in hindsight did the Dolphins make a mistake by firing him yeah yeah they did and I wrote a couple you know you guys remember when uh two came out and criticized Brian Florey a couple of years ago right and I wrote a column saying that Flores method uh is is different than Mike McDaniel's but it's more productive and flow is the old school you know don't coddle them don't put your arm around them too much yell at them and McDaniel there's 180 degrees the opposite coddle them put your arm around them don't ever yell at them I'm old school and look Flore didn't get along with a lot of people in this building he couldn't pick offensive coaches I think he went through like four offensive line coaches in three years or whatever that number was but flow knows football and Florey can get the most out of a team those teams never left meat on the bone McDaniel teams always did flow might be

tough to get along with but the guy knows football so maybe he's where he belongs got the coordinator instead of a hit coach but I like what Florey did I think his team's overachieved as a matter of fact Chris Perkins the best in the business checkout all of his coverage at sunsentinel.com thanks Perk all right fellas we'll talk next week all right that was great and uh thinking about those days with rhyme fits Patrick playing quarterback and two trying to get in there Flores is like no sit down oh I want to see the bearded one Flores won he won his relationship he won his last seven games with the dolphins and he was still fired they were they finished nine and eight missed the playoffs but they were rolling at the end of that season yeah Flores can coach we know that up next it's a jags takeover we'll fill you in on that here on game on after this game on with Bianchi and Kravitz we'll be right back after this

jaden grimes our producer making his television debut here hello mother working snazzy looking fly get that hand up ready they hand up slam it down at the music what you got all right let's start off in the NBA the angelo russell is reportedly leaving the NBA to play for the Shanghai sharks that's a real report by the way bedded or forget it deloting will forever be loading uh bedded this is d'Angelo Russell we're talking about yes now i was a d'Angelo Russell believer for a little bit the guy can shoot i've seen some big games from i feel like i've seen a cut at least a couple of 40 point performances from d'Angelo Russell but he just doesn't do the dirty work and that's how you stay in the league so the overseas money grab no surprise for somebody of d'Angelo Russell status

oh what happened to him he got who cut him the grizzlies believe so yes the grip yeah his last real stop was with the nets that's the last time he made any sort of an impact i believe you know what whatever we've already spent too much time talking about the angelo russell so a bedded he was a baller like 2017 on his first stint with the nets that is like that is one of jadans i think one of jadans go to wheelhouse topics are players that are obscure but were once really good especially within video games yeah like that's why you guys brought up Odell Beckham Jr the other day and probably spent too much time on him like that that's not us that's the national media i'm sorry that's that's like espn that that's i don't understand why odell Beckham Jr is still even a new story

when he gets cut quite frank god forbid jaden grimes had been around for this step on marbary experience no doubt he would have been in on that guy i would have been my favorite player let's move on to the NFL better or forget it mike since baker may have filled wind down in the box are already zero and three the box need a march for arch forget it you know they made their decision they they could say have made they have made the bed now they must lie in it they paid this guy when they shouldn't have 55 million dollars a year for three years live with it that's what you did you can't just say oh we made a mistake after three weeks sorry they need that they need no they're they're not going to march for arch and i'm not sure arch is better than baker may feel quite frank yeah i'll say forget it forget about the bucks nobody should march for arch i don't get i don't get it i don't get how

the NFL rank draft ranking scouting community hasn't sold all of their archmaning stock this guy went up against tenisee in a game that had shoot out written all over it and through for 200 yards no touchdowns in a pick this is not a number one overall quarterback he's barely a good college quarterback he is going to suck in the NFL i would rather have air in phylo of the gators than archman he held billed a silo for phylo if you want to have a clever saying that sounds better silo for phylo go go draft him he's more productive than all right saint's running back travis a chan has been put on ir due to a hamstring injury better or forget it bk fancy managers should be doing everything in their power to get alvin camara forget it forget about pains me to say this because in my number one league i do have

alvin camara i like the fact that he is on my bench right now debating playing him on between him traviant henderson and ollie gordon in the flex so my god all of them have opportunities but i'm not excited about any of them my concern for alvin camara is that he's just not good anymore and i think kondrae miller is going to play a role in the saint's offense alvin camara you need the catches because he has no explosiveness left in his game so you said do whatever you can to get him i would not go that far but if you got him he just got a lot better than he was a week ago forget it forget about do whatever you can to get him i've got air in jones on my bench if anybody wants to make a trade for air in jones i'd much rather have him than anybody anybody on the saints in the saints backfield right now alvin camara nine points last week it's only up from here he's the star running back now all right

you know i'm gonna i cannot wait to ask jamey isenberg that exact flex question because i think it's a it's a healthy conundrum that's a good question that a lot of people are gonna want the answer to not really levy on bell and intonio brown are making fun of mike tomwin on twitter for having a minecraft world better forget it bk coaches can have a life too better absolutely i think the secret to long-term success is having interest in things outside of your job i think you have to put your energy elsewhere because you burn yourself out if you're only focused on being a coach at all times x's and o's disciplinarian if that's all you're worried about you're not gonna have a long successful career mike tomlin had one he was one of the longest tenured coaches ever and i think balance in life is not just in coaching but in anything you don't want to burn yourself out you have to have some level of balance who did you say is making fun of him levy on bell and intonio brown they were saying

they were trying to win championships forget it i mean all you need to know about those two clowns is ask them how they did when they left mike tomlin and the steeler's all right they both went to put all right mike tomlin actually was able to keep those two clowns in line uh and levy on bell what was he ever after the steeler's intonio brown was he ever the same after he left the steeler's no he did what super bowl well whatever he wasn't a key cog and that is he any play for the box when you know break Brady won that super bowl and tonio brown didn't win diddly poo he gave the good I still can i cannot believe tom Brady let intonio brown live in his house no wonder that man is divorced right that's probably when that's probably when she said you know what um you're a clown too for letting this guy live here you're out yeah that's uh that is one 800 bed

decisions right there up next our last call here on game on i am going to cement my proclamation from earlier in the show after this game on would be oncy and kravitz will be right back after this oh look outside right now it's raining again and i've said this many times raining is great when you're watching from the couch it's not so great when half the rain in central florida seems to be sitting in your backyard standing water isn't just ugly it can contribute to erosion create mosquito problems and potentially cause expensive water problems around your property that's when you call the drainage experts at water be right and drainage is at some side business for these these guys oh no water be right averages about eight miles of drainage work per year and with experience working on nine golf courses they know how to get the water moving where it's supposed to go most

importantly they understand drainage isn't one size fits all they'll explain the different options how they work and what makes sense for your property water be right doesn't believe in band-aid repairs they believe in permanent solutions and here's the bulldog special mentioned my name the bulldog you'll get a hundred dollars off any job over five hundred dollars check them out water be right dot com or give them a call 407 753 7588 that's 407 753 7588 when the water goes wrong just pick up the phone and call water be right it's time for the last call final few moments here on game on and just for a moment just for a quick moment it's just me and you I want to put this in stone a proclamation a challenge to the Miami dolphins I think this is fair

a team that I have been deathly loyal to and cheering for since the late 1990s I've lived through the Cleo lemon days the AJ Feeley days I've lived through draft busts like Dion Jordan bully gate with Richie and Cognito and as the years have progressed I have derived less and less joy from the fan experience of cheering on a team like this and this year it has reached a real moment of crisis so my challenge to you Miami win a game that's all you have to do win one game you've got 14 opportunities and if you do if you win one single game I will remain loyal to you for a lifetime but lose them all and I am hopping on the Jaguaggan as they'll be playing games in Orlando

next year the challenge has been made the choice is yours Miami this isn't in my hands anymore the power is in your hands win a single game this season and I will remain a dolphins fan for life but lose them all and I'm out. Room Room Room move over move over move over grabs move over make room for rabbits he can ride shotgun on the Jaguaggan because the dolphins are going 0 and 17 this year and you're going to be a Jags fan forever more crabs and it's going to start in 2027 when the Jaguars are playing right over here at camping world stadium. This this pennant I have behind me I will have it replaced with the Jacksonville Jaguars one I will get the Jags gear I might get one of those sweet hats yeah that you got for Christmas. Yep I'm I'm being serious about this I feel like

this is a fair trade off all I'm asking for is one victory and maybe even maybe they even get it this week in Minnesota. They're terrible they're not winning a game this year. The imperfect perfect season oh it's 17. I want to say thank you to action sports jacks the 24 seven sports channel in Jacksonville for giving this show a chance today and beyond that's going to do it for us here on game on go and check out the podcast on iHeartRadio we'll see you back here to close out the week tomorrow at 3 p.m. for the prodigy of production Jaden Grimes the bulldog might be honky I'm Brandon Kravitz and I'm with him Mikey. Peace love boil peanuts on the Jaguagin.
