2:05Stay for the experienced cheers to Memphis. As I mentioned, the weather changing for the better right now, it is 73 degrees. It will warm up today to about 90, so it's not exactly cold, but compared to what we had, it's a lot better. And then 82 tomorrow for a high 82 Thursday, 86 Friday with the overnight low in the low 60s. So it'll feel a little bit more towards fall since we are going into fall today. But mainly sunny to start, few afternoon clouds today and again not as hot. Coming up on the program today, NFL Action last night, Monday night football, and yet another injury to another key player. We'll tell you about that as week number two wrapped up and week number three gets going on Thursday, also college football news, a plenty. As we get ready for week number four of the college football seasons, the last week of the Major League Baseball Regular season. As I mentioned, the Redbirds will play for the International League Championship Series against the Rochester Red Wings.

3:10So it's the Redbirds and the Red Wings. We'll give you all the details on that. We got some NBA news to get to as well. Grizzlies media day coming up on Monday next week. So basketball is just about here. The latest on the Jalen Duran Detroit Pistons stalemate. Conor O'Garro will join us at 725 to talk all things college football. Big week in the SEC. A lot of great matchups this weekend. Landon speck an 825 on Memphis Tigers football. Tigers coming off the win over UT Martin, have the by week. And then it's all conference play. We'll talk Memphis men's golf with Blake smart, get his thoughts also on the president's cup, which will be taking place this weekend at 925. We'll give you all the details a little bit later on, but we got something for all you men out there and your health. This is something going a little bit off the beaten path, but I think it's extremely important. And we got Dr David Jones who's going to join us by phone. He's a cardiologist for the Methodist LeBonor group. And he'll give you all the details you need for this event that's coming up Thursday that coincides with your health.

4:14And with Thursday night NFL football should be a great event. We also got humdingers trivia coming up on the program today. Good morning. Good morning. How are you? Fantastic. So yesterday we played at the Youth Athletic Foundation Golf Tournament at Colonial Country Club, where we broadcasted our show. And Loan Behold, we had a great time. We had a great time. Weather was still a little toasty, but still we had a breeze. So it felt nice. And Loan Behold, my buddy over here, J.M. Eli Savoy, his name was pulled out of a hat basically. To get a shot, him and another guy at a million dollars on a shot on the 18th hole was the 18th of the ninth. 18th hole from 175 yards out. Now Eli was striking the ball day long as he normally does. How do you like patience? Right? I'm not speaking out of turn here. So he's a lathered up a little bit. It's the golf course. You're having a good time. But Eli hit the ball extremely well day and he gets 175 yards shot to win a million dollars.

5:22And he promised me half. So that was nice of him, I thought. And you struck the ball well for a guy that's again had a had a few cocktails. You didn't get the kid, Joe. Dr. Evil claim no one million dollars and struck the ball well didn't go in the hole. A lot better than the guy who also had the shot at the million dollars. So I don't know. His did not go too far. But good effort. Good. Good. I think there was a little more wind than I thought. And I hit it right at the flag, which you really don't want to there. And you did it right and let it come off the ridge of where the flag was on the 18th. But no, I was very very happy with the shot that I hit. That's his course. He's a member of colonial. So he knows where to hit the ball and he was reading greens great all day long. We had a fantastic time. But I mean, again, usually when like people are picking things out of a hat. His name always seems to get drawn. But is this the first time you had a shot at a million dollars?

6:22A million dollars. Yes. Were you ever at the million dollar shootout at the same was church? The whole never done the million festival. Okay. I've had a chance for a car around the state was church. Right. Right. As did I one time, which I was I missed by about a hundred feet, a hundred yards right at a hundred feet. A hundred yards right here. Years and years ago, but yes, I thought, oh my gosh. If this guy wins a freaking million dollars, it's going to be myself and Jay Han on the show today. He's done. What are what are the 100% done? And I know a million dollars doesn't go as far as used to, but it still goes pretty far. He'll make a stretch. Yes. Right. That's right. It's a right financial advisor. You make a stretch a little bit. But the course was in great shape. Kudos to everybody. The new ownership group. And you know all about that. Being a member out there. But that was great time. We had a fun time yesterday. It's always a great time. Great tournament. And had a blast as always. And yeah, it was it was good to get a shot. The chance at a million.

7:27All right. I'm going to start with the redbirds. It is our local team. They are in action tonight. I know a lot of people don't put too much stock into triple a championships. And look, they earned it. And they earned what will hopefully be a nice crowd with the weather changing for the better tonight tomorrow night. And if needed on Thursday, it's a best two of three. It's the international league championships series. Now you may remember the redbirds for a long time playing the Pacific coast league and want Pacific coast league title. Did they went to PCL titles? What a couple titles. Didn't they? I think they want to at least a couple. Yeah, that's it. That's what I think. But I know they want one for sure. But tonight they have a chance to win an international league title. And I'm not sure how long they've been in the international league hasn't been that long. Right. Yeah, I bet it's only been I don't know. I can't remember. They did the reorganization. It was 2020 2021 4 or 5 years. That's about it. So it's the battle of the reds. The redbirds and the Rochester red wings. Our buddy, friend of the show, Christian Brothers High School baseball coach, former Redbird slash St. Louis Cardinal reliever Jason Mott will throw out the first pitch schedule for 645. Again, it's the best two of three. We were talking about this a little bit yesterday.

8:50If whoever wins does play the winner of the Pacific coast league championship series in a one off. It's one game. I believe in Vegas to win the whole kit and caboodle triple a championship. So the redbirds have their opportunity. It's not the fully stacked a team that they had earlier in the year because a number of the guys went up to St. Louis. But it's still a very talented team that's coming off a big offensive onslaught in Nashville over the weekend wrapping up their regular season. So one of which Ben Johnson and the redbirds the best of luck. Craig hunger in company. Hopefully great crowds on hand. Like I said, the weather will certainly cooperate being a little bit cooler. Maybe even a lot cooler than what we've had. They won championships in or PCL championships in, let's see 2000. That's the that's the pool hole here, right? 2009, 2017 and 2018. Wow. So they wanted four times. So soon I forget.

9:57But the 2000 was at the pool hole here. Or was it 2000? What was the other year? That was 2000. Yeah, it would have to be 2000. Yeah. I was going to call he was there for a little bit and then got called up and versus history. That was like my first summer home from college and I went to a few of those games and it was just the electric. That's what they first bought the redbird t-shirts out in the hats and all that stuff. I loved it. I actually loved it. And look, I also love the fact that as a member of the media, I parked right there on that parking lot right next to the stadium adjacent to the stadium. They picked up the tab, you know, all that kind of stuff as unfortunately we tend to do as members of the media want to take advantage of situations. But I am really thinking about going tonight, going to the game. I was only I was only a two games this year. I may get there tomorrow night. I wanted to get out there a lot this year, but the heat just really kind of. That's what I'm amazing. That's what I mean. There were a couple of day games where I thought I was going to go and then, you know, I ended up playing golf or doing something like that.

11:01But it used to be where I would go to 30, 40 games. I'm talking about on radio where I'm not covering it from a TV standpoint. When I was at 24 and 13, we covered the rivers a lot. I mean, a lot. But the, and of course, they weren't even the redbirds when I started late 1995. They were the chicks and it was double A and the whole Tim Macarver stadium deal. But we were there from the beginning at the outset of all those on park and the building of that great, great stadium, which hopefully again, the renovations, they get the green light from the city council. They're able to spend that money to renovate that stadium to get back to the specs it needs to be a modern triple A stadium in 2026 moving forward. We'll see what happens. But good luck to the redbirds tonight NFL last night. Monday night football, the Rams over the Giants 28 to 6 to me. Even not knowing what was going to happen to Jackson dark.

12:07I thought this was the easiest play on the board this week. The Rams were humiliated in Australia by the 49ers. They've been home long enough to get reaclimated to their surroundings and the time zone and all that. Don't forget that the Rams going into the season were the prohibitive favorite to win it all. Halfers healthy. Now I did. I know they didn't have Pukin, a Kua and Miles Garrett sound, but Aaron Donald return for the first time since 2024. And to me, there were bouncing back and winning this game. So I was all over the Rams on this one. And then you throw in the Jackson dark injury on the first series. Malik neighbors heard a shoulder, but he did return to the game. But the Rams win 28 to 6 Eli's both teams are now one and one that leaves eight undefeated teams in the NFL after the first two weeks. That was that looked more like the Rams we expected to see this season.

13:08Look more like the Matthew Stafford we expected to see this season. And even without Miles Garrett, the defense certainly looked good. And I've said once Jackson dark was out of the game. Well, tough for the Giants. You also had Malik neighbors go out for a little while there as well. So it just it was it is difficult for them. But get the Rams. I think now people can maybe relax a little bit. Things are things are still on track for them to be as good as they were expected to be. Yeah, how to feel and Stafford was going to go off played him for two seventy five. He goes for three twenty seven twenty two a thirty one three twenty seven four touchdowns and a pick. But the star of the game was Devonte Adams. You're talking about a future Hall of Famer eight catches a hundred ninety five yards two touchdowns that first touchdown Eli. There was nobody near him. I don't know what the Giants were doing in the secondary, but they were confused and not covering Dante Adams bad move.

14:14Generally not covering any receivers as bad moves, especially with Matthew Stafford. He probably is going to find them. Yeah, and he did. And then Kyron Williams had twelve carries for eighty five yards. Williams also caught a touchdown pass. So it was an all around bounce back performance like you expected from the Rams over the Giants. Now Jackson Dart from what I read this morning. He's going to be out a little bit, but it may not be as serious as first thought. People were saying hyper extended this that everybody plays Joe Doctor on watching it on television. But from what I read this morning, it looks like it may be a sprained MCL, but that still could keep them on the shelf for a month. Yeah, that's a lot of the reporting was John Harball would not confirm that, but he's I think it's something in the neighborhood of that or something like that was where he described it, but he'll get an MRI today to to know more, but most of the everybody believes that that's a sprained MCL, which

15:20he's going to be out for a little while as well. So that it's yeah, that will that will cause the Giants to be without their quarterback for a little while at least. Jackson came in last night takes over as the starting quarterback. He was 11 of 27 for 111 yards and a pick. I thought he threw some good balls. I thought he threw some bad balls. Winston has become now a media darling. He's funny. He's very entertaining. He will be in the entertainment field somehow some way when he retires, but James Winston leading the way for the Giants, not what they want it. The Russian game has to be better. Camp Scataba with just 36 yards, Devon Singletari, three carries for nine, Naje Harris was elevated to the active roster from the practice squad, four carries six yards. They just couldn't run against Aaron Donald and company.

16:29Remember that's the front, the front four for the Rams without Miles Garrett, who is injured. I guess the good thing for the Giants, although no guarantees. The first game they play without dart as the starter, the Tennessee Titans this weekend at home. Could be better could be the dolphins could be better or maybe even the Falcons. Falcons, by the way, will be playing on Thursday and the word is that more than likely Michael Pennick's junior will be the starting quarterback is the Falcons play at Green Bay against the Packers Packers, a six point favorite speaking of NFL quarterbacks. Caleb Williams. Best news possible for the Bears. It's a hamstring. We talked about this yesterday, but it's a hamstring where they haven't ruled him out yet. And they don't have to rule them out until the injury report, but they haven't ruled him out for possibly even playing on Monday night. They got that extra day because they're playing on Monday night football. They're taking on the Philadelphia Eagles at home where the Eagles right now installed as an early nine three point favorite.

17:35Yeah, I mean, again, as much pain as he was in. That would be pretty amazing if he plays the next week. Yeah, I doubt he'll play. I'm just saying what what they are reporting. And again, as I mentioned, Pukin, the cool was out with the hip injury. He's going to be a pivotal receiver for the LA Rams moving forward in their quest to win a super bowl. College football and we'll talk plenty more in our next segment when the man the myth, the legend, Conor, Gerrard joins us in a roughly seven minutes or so. But this, uh, should I maybe I shouldn't be surprised, but to me, I'm trying to crunch the numbers in my head. And it just seems mind boggling that this is possible. Although, I don't know when the last time was that I actually purchased a cocktail like I get cocktails free at some events. We make them at home. So I don't know what it is. You know, just going to bark because I'll get a beer. But get anything I get a beer.

18:39All miss, which by the way, Drew a record crowd, they said 70,000 for the game against LSU. According to a report, there was over 900,000 dollars in alcohol sales. So we're not we're not talking about what people purchase to bring to the Grove. We're talking about within the stadium itself. There was 900,000 dollars of alcohol purchase during the game during the game. Wow. Almost a million dollars. I just seems like impossible. I don't know what the charge and for beers at the game, but I mean, they're probably charging. What are they charging at Vaude Hemingway eight bucks for beer. It's not. It's not FedEx form price. Unless they up the prices for this game. People, I don't know. People sneak in their hard stuff. Do they even sell hard stuff at games or just beer. I don't I'm not sure what they just seems like a lie.

20:07That word adds up quickly. If we're talking like a $10 or $8 $10 bud light. Right. But do I mean somebody somebody pull out a calculator and tell me how many beers that would have to be would have to be sold to reach that amount of money. But hey, hats off. Again, like I said, to begin this story, I shouldn't be surprised at that kind of number. That is that's a lot of cash being brought in by the, by the school, a lot of money being brought in by the school. And nobody cares cash anymore. It's all credit cards. But, um, Pete Golding, we brought up this. I brought up this number yesterday. I was wrong with the number about his record versus ranked opponents. I said top 10. It wasn't top 10. It was ranked opponents. But he is six and one now overall as the head coach in Rome and now as the head coach on a permanent basis. Six and one five of those wins over ranked opponents. Five wins over ranked opponents out of his six wins so far. And they have a lot of ranked opponents coming up, including the Florida Gators who are now in the top 25 who they will play on Saturday in Gainesville.

They say it's a 16 ounce beer and it's 14 bucks is what they say. So I don't know if they up the prices for LSU or that's what it normally is. So I did the calculation at $900,000 of alcohol sales, assuming it's only beer. Again, I don't know if they're a hard liquor sold at football college football stadiums, but if it's just beer at 14 a pop, that means you'd have to sell 64,285 beers. That's a lot of beer. That's a lot of it. We'll see if Connor thinks that that is accurate. It's time to talk some college football with Conor O'Gara.

24:39It's time to talk some SEC and college football joining Greg and Eli is Connor O'Gara host of the OG kickoff podcast. A double down and next ground production. Now here's Connor with Greg and Eli. He has got a little area. He joins us every other Tuesday all year long to talk college football and other things as well. Follow him on Twitter at C.J. O'Gara. Good morning, Conor. Do you think that that's even possible that they had 900,000 dollars worth of alcohol sales at Valdemeyway? Yeah, I do. I really do. Look, based on the vibe of that stadium every single time I saw a crowd shot, I saw someone holding some sort of tall boy. I do think that you are allowed to have the hard liquor sales as well and you can be like a rummend coke or something like that. I have not been to Valdemeyway since that has been enacted.

25:46But I would be stunned if that was just all beer. I remember once upon a time Ohio State was at the forefront of alcohol sales and they were bragging about bringing a million bucks for a season. And that was I think just at the sweet level where they had the alcohol that was being sold and so to have 900,000 dollars worth of alcohol sales for a regular season game. Look, everybody's trying to get different sources of revenue. I think that's a pretty good one. Does it say more about our society as alcoholics or that price is just continue to soar? Yes. What it shows that it shows like how dumb it was that they weren't selling alcohol before these stadiums and how much a smart of a decision it was to create that much more cash flow. Yeah, look, I hate to break news to college administrators, but people have been drinking alcohol and their stadiums for a long time. Right. Right. And you might as well make some money off of it. And I'm not one of those people that is like, oh, you should be having four drinks at a game or something like that because Lord knows they've priced out so many people from being able to do that.

26:53But I mean, if I want to be like, I can go to the zoo and have a beer. Why can't I go to a college football game? No, you're right. But okay, I'm thinking about the days when I would go watch the Terps play. We'd all sneak in the hard stuff in the flasks. That's what we'd have. Nobody was going down and purchasing any of the beers. Now you got to take into consideration these kids are finding innovative ways of bringing liquor in there. Second of all, if you're not 21, I don't know what the crackdown is how closely they're looking at IDs, but that would take a lot of the students out of the mix you would think unless they all fake IDs. I'm just thinking if it's hard liquor, if they do sell hard liquor to that makes sense. If it was just beer, even $14 a pop still to, it's like mind boggling and be that many beers sold, but it doesn't matter. It is what they say it is and what was said on the field was an old mis victory over LSU. I like the Rebels Connor because I thought they were going to ride the wave of everything that was happening.

27:54The momentum, the fans, I thought they're going to play off it and they did certainly for a long time and then LSU storms back, but the great drive by Ole Miss, the champ was touched down. Then the interception at the end by Sam Levin. I just thought it was a great, it lived up to the billing I thought. Fantastic College football game, story line that could have even the most casual sports fan going, wait what? Really? They're going to come back and this is going to be the SEC opener for this guy who left this program before their college football playoff run. Really? You're going to tell me that this is going to be the script that it follows. It was fantastic. It was so fun to watch and I do truly wondering, Eli, you probably have better perspective on this than I would. I think it's arguably the best moment in the history of that stadium and maybe even the history of Oxford to be able to hand lane Kiff and that L and to have it come in that fashion where you know it's the guy that he thought he was going to be able to bring with him tell us you.

28:59I think there's a certain bit of, I don't know what the exact word is, but there's a certain bit of embarrassment that comes from Lane Kiff and deep down in places he doesn't want to talk about that he couldn't bring Trinidad Chambles with him tell us you. And seeing that guy play at that level and remind us why he is the best quarterback in this sport. It had to hurt that much more. It really did and I would love to know what lane thought of watching it play out and have his unfiltered emotions about seeing that guy the guy that he discovered and him one of the most painful losses of his entire coaching career. I thought it was fantastic theater from start to finish. Yeah, but I have to believe that's the biggest moment. Certainly I mean again with everything involved in the fact that it get it to win over a top 10 team to it's not like it was just beating a bad LSU team or something like that. Everything that it was involved with that I can't imagine there being a bigger moment in that stadium ever. I just I don't know what it would be. I mean, you're there the window or Alabama and stuff like that.

30:07But I think with the lane Kiffin and everything else involved it makes this bigger than any of those. I think about this. I mean lane you know in matchups of top 10 teams lane never one of those when he was the Ole Miss whether that was in Oxford or not. And you know peak holding has already won two of those. So I mean I just think that it's the type of win that for all the things surrounding LSU and whatnot like it's it's monumental for that. I think it's monumental for Ole Miss trying to navigate a very difficult schedule and get to the college football playoff. I mean it's just it's all of those things. And yeah, like there's a chance we look back two months from now and go. Maybe it was an insignificant as we thought, but I just love that we had the buildup. I love that we had both of these teams coming in the top 10 teams undefeated. And the fact that peak holding out coast lane Kiffin. I mean that two point conversion took so much. You know what to be able to call that spot. I just I was impressed and I thought peak holding defensive game plan was really good to get Sam same levitt fluster early on. And of course he came back and had some great moments.

31:12But yeah, just a tip of the cap to Ole Miss after an off season of being told like, Oh, you're not going to be. You know the team that you were under lane. They showed that they might be even better than last year's team. Yeah, unfortunately we're getting less and less of these type of games. These type of matchups, especially early in the season to have that was fantastic game day Morgan Freeman, the voice of God, all that stuff. It would have been disappointing. I think with all that and the buildup and everything that happened in the end LSU and the guy with the black hat was able to get a W and go back to baton ruse with a smile. Instead it was Ole Miss getting that dub. So now we set up Ole Miss for. I'm not going to call it a letdown game because Florida now moves into the top 25. They're down there where you are in the sunshine state. They're playing well under John Summroll with ball running the ball extremely well. And Ole Miss will come in as a slight dog. You heard what Summroll said about being the favor. He basically said we basically people on drugs or something.

32:14But what do you think about Ole Miss now having to turn around after the electricity in Oxford and now have to go to the swamp? Yeah, I in the off season and I've said this on your airways before I picked Ole Miss to get to the ICC championship and lose this game. And I don't think it's crazy in a way that John Summroll is obviously clearly trying to take pressure off of his team. He would like for them to be playing the role of underdog. Lord knows like Kiffin tried to play that card somewhat unsuccessfully for his team last week against Ole Miss. But yeah, I think that you look at the atmosphere and know that as much as you trust Trinidad in these moments, Florida playing at this level to start off this season, we still don't even really know what Florida's weaknesses are. I mean, we saw them have a couple of defensive lapses and I think some of the wrong numbers defensively would tell you that this team is far from a finished product at that level. But at the same time, I thought they controlled that game against Auburn and I thought they did a lot of things to frustrate Byron Brown.

33:17And so yes, Byron Brown is a very different quarterback from Trinidad Chamblis. But you know, Ole Miss not having perhaps Q on Lacey or if they have them not having them at full strength, I think it's significant. And this is a Florida team that for an offensive standpoint, I think they're really feeling confident early on with Buster Falkner. That's been so evident. And the one thing I questioned with Jane Baw was going to be changing the scheme fit and going, you know, having to be a little bit more patient in the Buster Falkner offense. And so far, I mean, he has just checked every possible box. He's been the best running back in college football bar none. And Aaron Filo has been lighted out under pressure. Like guys, you realize like so far under pressure this year, he's got a 91.7% adjusted completion percentage. And against the blitz, 80% is his adjusted completion percentage. Like he's been fantastic for first time starter. So I get why Florida is a slight favorite despite the fact that I love this Ole Miss team. And I think they're going to win a bunch of games. Well, the other side of that LSU tries to bounce back against Texas A&M who's got some issues themselves to try and bounce back from after their embarrassing home loss.

34:26What did we find out about Texas A&M and that that lost a Kentucky? This offense is just whoof. It really is. Oh my gosh. It's rough. Like I'm going on with my guys at TechSax in a little bit here. And I think we're going to have to have a real conversation about Marcel Reed and this offense with new play call or home in Wiggins because that was not it on Saturday. I don't need to take credit away from Kentucky credit J Bateman. You know, the guy that was Mike Elkos, first defensive coordinator at Texas A&M and was given play call and duties and then was stripped of play call and duties last year. So it goes to Kentucky. He comes back to college station and he dominated. He looked like he had all the answers to the test. And meanwhile, Marcel Reed is struggling to make routine throws. Now it hurt that receiver death was an issue and I you know they lose a guy that was the talk of Cam Terry Busy, the former five star. It was on the first play from Scrimmage on the opening kickoff. You're with R.E. without asking Bethel Roman. And then you know you look at some of the throws that they're just attempting.

35:28These are like high percentage stores that he's missing and then you know the the tougher tight window throws. He's not even close and I don't get why they're so resistant to run the football. They had chunks of yardish that they were gaining and they just weren't willing to do that. So can Ellis you be to get right because it's kind of been the get right for A&M these last two years. And Marcel Reed has had a lot of success against Ellis you against that Blake Baker defense. So he has a prime opportunity to kind of do the 180. Which he's capable of doing but man, offensively speaking, they have no identity whatsoever right now. And that is a massive, massive problem as we get into that. Well, two losses doesn't eliminate you, especially in the SEC, but it puts you on the brink. You mentioned A&M trying to get right at LSU. Both teams now will be coming in off the loss. So is it more important for A&M to win that game or is it more important for LSU because they're at home. Who's in trouble if they lose as far as not making the playoff? It's a good question because I think they being a really similar spot. I think I think Ellis you the optics would be would be tough to be like wait a minute.

36:38So cool you beat up clumps and which is being led by Chad Morse's offense. Great. You've also lost the game that everybody's talking about all off season. And I lost your home as you see debut against Texas, saying that's what the last guy did and we paid that guy $54 million to go away. So what are we doing here? So it's probably Ellis you just from an optics standpoint, but I mean, it would be a really tough kill the swallow for A&M. And A&M team that started off 11 and O last year. And if you look at the fact that they if they were to lose that game to LSU, you know, think about the fact that you'd be talking about what four of five your last four of your last five games can power conference opponents would have been losses. And those are the types of trends that Mike Elkos hoping to avoid because A&M has not done enough historically speaking to get the benefit of the doubt. And they're still trying to win people over in that way. And the quarter public opinion would be against the Aggies. Everybody who've been saying all they were propped up by that fraudulent schedule last year, even though they beat Notre Dame and tough.

37:41But yeah, I mean, I think both teams. This is such a must win game early on in the last weekend of September. Well, while Tritidad Chamblis is now the high has been favorite and all that just down the road in Starkville. There's a pretty good quarterback as well. How much of a believer are you in Mississippi state? I'm all in. I am all in on Camario. And I'm not even saying Camario Taylor because I think he's already good enough to just be a one in guy. He is the real deal. And, you know, before the game against South Carolina, I talked to a coach who had already faced him and basically said, I'm still of one to 10 with 10 being 2023 Jaden Daniels. A guy that just got every blade of grass that he wanted was in total control. Where's Camario at right now? Like where is he at with his development? And he said a six, which I think was really fair. But one of the things that he said was, you know, we still need to kind of see what it looks like with some of those tight window throws over the middle and working to second, third progression, the offense is just it's going to be, you know, it is a very college folks often.

38:46And then I think in that South Carolina game to see him have to battle that adversity and to come back and do some of those things after it looks like Clayton White's defense was giving him some problems. I was like, man, this cat is so special. And if you're so obsessed with putting him on a blue blood team right now, you're a loser. You're just an absolute loser and you can't really appreciate college football because Camario Taylor in the chef levy offense is fun. It just is. And I think he'd be special in a lot of other offenses, but watch this guy play football and tell me that he is not something that is worth your viewing each and every week. He is already at that level. And I'm so excited to see what he does the rest of the season. Conor O'Gara joining us on the Cicis low cabin guest line last thing for you in Knoxville. It's Tennessee and Texas. I saw this yesterday and I find it so hard to believe. I don't know why, but Archmanning has never been to Knoxville. I would have thought maybe a visit to Knoxville at some time to see what what un did over there for so many years.

39:46But he's never been so he'll be going there for the first time with his long horns. The number one team in the nation against a Tennessee team a bit banged up in the backfield as far as running the ball, but they got a very exciting quarterback and phase on Brandon. How do you see this one shaping up? I think Texas is able to go into that atmosphere and win. I have too many questions about about Tennessee early on. I don't think they've faced a particularly good offense. I think they faced a really good tail back in Justice a couple of weeks ago at Georgia Tech, but I don't think they've faced a team that has the weapons that Texas does with the play calling. I do think that there's a question about what Arch is going to do on the road. If you look back at his road numbers last year, I mean it was rough. The home road splits were now particularly good. But at the same time, I think there are just still too many questions about this Tennessee team and what it's going to look like in your one under Jim Knowles. I think that the competition level hasn't necessarily been inspiring going into a match up like this. I think Georgia Tech's offense has a long way to go.

40:50I think Arch is able to get a big time road win there. I do think that it is interesting to hear him say that because clearly he's just trying to try to just have the quietest week possible ahead of what's a very pivotal showdown to kick off SEC play and try not to put a split in the smile. Maybe a week earlier. But yeah, I'm very fast and it's to see the way that he shows up and can they avoid what they did last year at Florida, which was just laying egg in the SEC road opener. 44:01From the NBA Nick Batum retiring after 18 seasons in the league play with the Blazers, the Hornets, the Sixers and the Clippers. And then Jay Ham what will you remember most about Nick Batum and that man and a motor he was going to play hard all the time. Is that an interesting story though today. The next day that he retired was yesterday was actually also the day that his dad died 35 years ago on a basketball court. Oh wow. So it was just kind of full circle for him. It's a true. Yeah. They should shoot it. He could shoot it well. And he always doesn't play hard, but he always looked like he was like he's very the way he moved on the court is weird. It was just kind of strange the way he kind of moved. Very nice and lumpy. But a really good player though. He's one I would like to have on my team because you knew what you were going to get from. Yeah, he seemed like a good teammate. I think Jayland Durin is better. Those teams that he played for speaking of trying to make teams better. I think Jayland Durin is made Detroit better along with a couple of other guys on that team.

45:05But right now Jayland Durin is in an impasse with the pistons. There was a report yesterday that the pistons have put on the table a five year 200 million dollar deal, which according to reports was not accepted. And then I know Shams talked about there was a possible weight clause in his contract. So I don't know. I have no idea. Is he going to? Is he going to play it? What he has left on his contract and just play it out? You're always chancing some kind of. Unfortunate injury and got forbid career ending injury. We hear people talk about fumbling the bag right now. This just looks like a funnel. It's I mean, he 40 million pop. If he takes the qualifying offer and plays that, that's a big risk. Now, maybe it pays off for it. Maybe, but it's a big risk talking for me in a club. Yeah, put $200 million in front of me.

46:05I'm I'm going to be fine with that. I'm going to make a easy decision because I think his qualifying offers were like, I think it's like nine million something like that. I think this is a great year again. Maybe it pays off, but I wouldn't be willing to take that chance of $200 million this in front of me. I think it's a more than fair offer just coming from my perspective. Absolutely. I mean, last year in the playoffs, there was questions about, they pulled them. And who was it? Was it beef stew? They ended up playing. Paul Reed. Oh, Paul Reed, they played. Okay. But now he doesn't have Isaiah Stewart. It's just him. They're giving him five years at 40 million per. I don't know. I don't know who his agent is. I'm starting to think the guy has a beef a little season or something. It's I it's a getting bad info from his inner circle. I firmly believe that the lot of these players, they just want to be able to say they're a max player.

47:06And they just like can't just look at it back. It's $200 million. And it also lets the team put other good pieces around us. The endorsements around you as well. It just I don't know. It's but that's I told me anything. If you're giving me a $200 million contract, these guys get caught up in it. They want to say they're a max player. ESPN has dropped its list of top 100 players for the upcoming season. I think today was the top 50. I'm just I'm looking at this for the first time. Yeah, numbers 100 through 51. So I'll take a look at that during the break. We'll talk about that in hour number two. We got humdingers trivia that will open up hour two. So get ready for that in about 25 to 30 minutes.
