Now back to mornings with Greg and Eli. Here once again are Greg Gaston and Eli Savoy. All day, guys, come on baby, never broke my heart. What a guy can fly the time. Final hour for us today. Final hour for us this week. Here on mornings with Greg and Eli on sports 56 on 1075. It is the Friday, October 2nd, 2026 edition. Greg Gaston and Jay Hamm, Eli off today. He returns on Monday. Weather wise, right now 78, a little bit more humidity in the air. Feels like 83, but we got some storms coming. I'm looking right now at the radar and it looks like forest city. Got some big storms coming through. Maybe some thunderstorms and it is headed our way. So again, cloudy right now, but scattered thunderstorms developing maybe sooner than this afternoon,

maybe later on this morning and the potential for some heavy rainfall. Tomorrow we could still see some rain. In fact, there is rain in the forecast at about 60%. But not an all day thing. I see some sunshine as well. High temperature tomorrow of 77 degrees. So again, looks like the weather is coming in. Temperatures dipping a little bit, although there still seems to be some humidity. Coming up in about 20 minutes or so, Brandon Lang will join us to handicap some of the big college football and NFL games this weekend. But right now we need you to participate. We need you to jump on the Sissy's Law Cabin Lister lines 901 3608255. It's time for 10 in a row. Not five, not six, not seven, not eight, not nine, but 10 in a row. If you've won in the last month, you are in eligible. Here is the question. Famous athletes born in Tennessee. Famous athletes born in Tennessee. Now I don't care if they moved when they were six months. I don't care if they came back. I don't care if there's somebody to live here their whole life, but they weren't born here. They had to have been born in the great state of Tennessee, the volunteer state, 901 3608255. Famous athletes born in Tennessee. Let's begin with Steven. Good morning, Steven. Good morning, how are you doing? Good. All right. Famous athletes born in Tennessee.

Hank Aaron. No, Mookie Betts. No, 3608255. Famous athletes born in Tennessee. D is next. Good morning, Dave. Hey, good morning. How are you doing? Doing great. Andy Roddick. 3608255. Got a couple of open lines. 901 3608255. Famous athletes born in Tennessee. Next up is League. Good morning, Lee. Hey, morning. Hey, Aaron. No, Mookie Betts. No. 3608255 is the number. We've had a lot of famous athletes over the years born in this great state. 901 3608255. I give you the name if they were born born in Tennessee. It's a yes, if not, it's a no 901 3608255. Famous athletes born in the state of Tennessee. Dan is next. Good morning, Dan.

Hey, guys, how's it going? Doing doing well. Andy Roddick. No. Brent Snetaker. No. 3608255. Famous athletes born in the state of Tennessee. Again, if you've won in the last month, you are ineligible. We do have a couple of open lines. Jump on. Don't be shy. Andre is next. Andre, how are you? How are you doing? Doing great. Hank Aaron. No. Mookie Betts. Yes. Dwayne Wade. No. Rocky Marciano. No. Rick Flair. Yes. Oscar Robertson. Yes. Becky Hammond. No. Michael Orr. Yes. Trevor Lawrence. Yes. Wilma Rudolph. Yes. That's the way to do it, my friend. Great job, Andre. You are a winner of that terrific prize package. We'll put you on hold. And Jay Hamble get your information.

That's how it is done. That is ten in a row. Brought to you each and every week by the great folks at Napa Cafe and a great prize package there. For Andre. Okay. So let's go over some of this. Yes. Yes. On the first list, Mookie Betts. Born in Nashville. Played for a Dulling's Dodgers, I believe. Oscar Robertson. Born in Charlotte, Tennessee. I don't know where Charlotte, Tennessee is. But there's a Charlotte, Tennessee. And the big O was born in Tennessee. Rick Flair. You know where Rick Flair was born? Right here in Memphis. Now this would confuse you a little bit, right? If I said, hey, who was born in Memphis? Rick Flair, Jury Lawler. The answer is Rick Flair. Michael Orr, of course. Born in Memphis went to Briar Crust Christian. Trevor Lawrence. This is one where I go, whoa, Trevor Lawrence was born in Tennessee.

You know where he's born? What part of Tennessee? Jay Ham? No, I don't. Knoxville. Did Oscar Robertson make your list? Yes. Okay. Born in Charlotte, Tennessee. Do you know where Charlotte, Tennessee is? I have no idea where Charlotte. No, no, I will. Marude Off, one of the great athletes of all time. Tracking field. Olympian. Born in another town. I've never heard of in Tennessee. St. Bethlehem. I've never even heard of it. St. Bethlehem, Tennessee. Well, it's not a surprise that a town comes up. We never heard of it. There are still neighborhoods in Memphis that come up in a news report or in a traffic they are something whatever and we go, where is that at? It was a long time wrestling fan whenever. McFolly when he was doing the cactus jack character, he would always be introduced. From truth to consequences in Mexico. I didn't know it was a real place. Yes. About 15 years ago. That's what I actually do. Second list, the yeses.

And we didn't get to a lot of these names. In fact, I'll let you play since Eli's not here. He usually does this. We'll go to the second list. They're gonna stop me on this. We are like. It's not it's not really easy. And erotic. No. Brandt Sennettaker. No. You weren't paying attention because you were busy in there. Yeah, he's from Nashville. Brandt Sennettaker. They have the sneds tour. Of course, he just coached the US or was the captain of the US presence company. Right. Eli Manning. No. No, he was born in New Orleans. Tony Pollard. Right here in Memphis. Jake Cutler. No. No. I think he's from Santa Claus Indiana is where he's from. Okay, I was gonna say Illinois, but it's India. He's from Santa Claus. Real town. Yes, absolutely. David Price. Yes. From Murphy'sboro, played Vanderbilt. Reggie White. Minister of Defense. Yes. Yes.

You know where? I can't remember where. Other side of the state. Pretty big city. He's a Knoxville guy. No. Go south. I know he's a new guy. That's right. Whitey Ford. I'm gonna go. Yes. He's from New York. New York. This one's a little surprising. Former dookie. Former NBA player. Coach of the LA Lakers. Jake. Jay Rennick. From Cookville. Good job. From Cookville. And then Bo Jackson. No. Bo Jackson's from Alabama. Yeah. Pessimer. Hank Aaron, who I used, is a no. He's from Alabama. Willie McCovie from Alabama. Frank Thomas from Alabama. Always dudes are from Alabama. You need to borrow baseball really hard. You're from Alabama. Great athletes. Tennessee's got their. Yeah. They got their group. But Alabama always blows me away about the athletes that come from Alabama. So the nose. Hank Aaron. No. Dwayne Wade. No.

Rocky Marciano. Through that out there to try to fool some people. Becky Hammond. No. We go to the second list. Andy Rodic was a no. Eli Manning. A no. Jay Cutler. Uses a said no. Whitey Ford. No. And Bo Jackson. No. So there you go. That's 10 in a row. Again, brought to you by Napa Cafe. All right. Again, if you missed this yesterday, the University of Memphis is going to usher in the basketball season with an event called Memphis. Man this presents zoo hoops. It will be Tuesday, October 13th at the great Memphis Zoo. One of a kind festival. Free to the public. Doors will open at five festivities begin at six. It's a 90 minute showcase to feature appearances by the 2627 men's and women's basketball sports. There'll be performances by the mighty sound of the south, the Memphis spirit squads, live entertainment from DJ Mike T. All the stuff going on.

Plus you're at the zoo to watch that event, but to see the animals walk around the zoo, especially if they haven't been there. It's one of the great zoos in the United States. And then you say it's a 90 minute event that starts at six. If you should put it in time to get back home and watch whatever action that's going to be your own playoff wise or whatever the case. There's no question about it. They have all kinds of attractions, including a zip line. The train rides. It's all free. Okay. I'm telling you yesterday, I saw this and I went because I went on with, as I do every Thursday at five o'clock, I went on with Brett and Brian. I was listening to you guys. Yeah, so this is great. This is fantastic. We know that they've had it on Beale Street. Of course, for years at FedEx Forum. The days of the big FedEx Forum, Memphis Madness kickoff to tip off. I think it's a done. I think it's in a rearview mirror. It's expensive to have to put it on. It's not that well attended. Maybe they'll go back to it every once in a while. But to have this event at the zoo, I think it's fantastic. It'll probably bring out people that may not even care about the Tigers basketball team.

And they'll be like, Hey, what's this all about? They get a free trip inside the zoo, the great zoo. And then I think it's something different. It's something unique. They're thinking outside the box. I love one thing I love about this administration is they think outside the box. But I'm reading again. I'm reading comment yesterday. They're like, man, they lost it. They're going down the crapper. They're the shut up, man. They're trying to try and some stuff. Shut up. I agree with you. I mean, look, we don't like negativity, Greg. That's just what it is. No, I need to look. You know, if I have to be critical, you know, me, I'll be critical. I have to be negative. But you'll do so in a fair fashion. I try, I try to be fair. So I saw this video yesterday. Look, and every, everybody is entitled to their opinion. We had the local journalists who got ripped for his opinion. And he's entitled to his opinion, you know, people threatening us. BS, right? There was a guy yesterday, a video, maybe two days ago. And I was like, who is this Yahoo?

But dude has a lot of followers. He's got a good following. So he might be legit, you know, covering college basketball. I don't know if you saw this video yesterday. He had Memphis finishing eighth in the American conference. I didn't see this. Okay. You don't remember his name? He was on Twitter. He was on Twitter. I find him. Right. He's just popped up on my timeline. I'm like, okay. And he explained, and he gives his reasoning. And he says, you know, the bottom line is Memphis. It's just never been able to hold on to the ball. They turn the ball over all the time. They just turn the ball over. And I don't have the numbers in front of me. I would imagine he's done some homework. But it's a whole different roster. We're talking about eighth. Yeah, it's a whole different roster. We're talking, I know last year was bad. Okay. Let me tell you something. If they finish eighth, we know what's happening. Okay. We know what's happening. I mean, it may even happen if they finish second. We don't even have to state. We don't have to state. You know what we're talking about. That is, again, his opinion, he's entitled. I'm entitled to my opinion to say that dude is certified.

There's, I will go out there. I thought Penny did a good job in being able to identify the problems and go out there and try to add players to fix the problems. Does he have all these five star guys? No, sometimes you don't, you need that. You need guys who are who are bought in that play together as a team. Will they win all these big nonconference games? No, I don't think so. Could they be competitive? Yes. Should they win the conference? I think so. But even if they don't, they come up a little bit short, which will still be an issue. They're not finishing eighth. There is no, there is no way. I will put my good name on the line that Memphis is finishing above eighth place in the American conference. That's what he wanted. He got the people here to react to it and he offered stuff out there for the receipt. Will he want to be, he may appear on freezing cold takes later on in a year. Wish I was messing with John Hardin. The rest of this week with I want to say on like Monday or Tuesday, he made the bulk proclamation that Fernando Mendoza will never see time in a rate of uniform. He will never take a step as a rate. That's all we got you.

John said that. Yeah. I mean this year. He meant. He's a man. He just, he went around in a super high take, but he got the people to react. Johnny radio. Corkeys ribs and barbecue is a great option today for lunch or dinner this weekend. Bring the family to Corkeys. They got four locations in the greater Memphis area. Poplar Avenue in Memphis. That's my go to. That's an East Memphis. I've been to Poplar Avenue in Carrival. I did the Germantown Parkway and court over for that. Corkeys and I've been the goodman rodent all the branch for that. Corkeys have been to all of them now. And you know what? It's all good. It's all the same. It's all great barbecue. And everything else that they serve up, including the award-winning catfish plates, the tamales, the burgers, had a burger the other day there. Great desserts, the folks that the employees, and they're always going to smile. They're singing. They're dancing. They're fun. I just like going over there and enjoying lunch every once in a while just sitting inside. Yeah. I take out sometimes, but just like going in there and enjoying the atmosphere.

They got lunch specials every day. Party packs that started just $7.49. When you get your entree out of third of a racca ribs for $7.99, so you can taste the ribs. If you're going with maybe a barbecue sandwich or a catfish plate, you know, get the racca ribs, the third of a racca ribs for just $7.99. Plus a little cater, any event you got coming up. It just makes sense to have Corkeys cater. They've been catering for 40 plus years. They know what they're doing, no matter how large your event may be. And they'll start you out as low as $7.99 per person. You're doing some tailgaining for high school football, for college football, whatever the case may be, tailgate with some Corkeys. Corkeys ribs and barbecue open for lunch and dinner seven days a week when we return. Oh, boy. Wake up the kids. Brandon Langs joining us. Mr. Entertainment, Hillcandy Cap, college football NFL games this week. And he's next. This is Mornings with Greg and Eli on sports 56 on 1075. For teams, your takes your new FM home for Memphis sports stuff sports 56 on 1075 FM.

Greg and Eli here once again on Greg Gaston and Eli Subway. The take in the easy way. Another one of the little Beatles on this Friday morning as we welcome you back to sports 56 mornings. Our final 30 minutes and change before we call it a weekend. It's going to be a busy weekend in the world of sports. A little bit later on in this hour, I got some news on the Grizzlies and their broadcast schedule. This is a good news, I think, for a local Grizzlies fans. I'll give you all those details later on. But right now it's time for the one and only Brandon Lang. It's time to handicap this week's action joining Greg and Eli is sports handicap or Brandon Lang, subject of the movie to for the money. I went into Best Buy yesterday here in the Hampton and I had to pick up a couple of universal remotes and I worked with Jesus Elijah Muhammad, eat the money in Santa Claus and say, guys, that's helped me look like the head coach of the Dolphins on the beach

wide. I'm like, bro, you're supposed to be game plan, aren't you supposed to game plan and brothers, huh? I think you're the coach of the Dolphins. Get Brandon's place at BrandonLan.com. I'm so sick and tired of staying in this girlfriend, every where there is. We understand the dynamic here. We understand that you're probably released to King and Bill and that's the only reason I hear it. And he's like a little puppy. He's like a little puppy being read a letter on a leash. Off camera behind closed doors. I'm just telling you, Bill's in a place he's never been before. He's whipped. Now, here's Brandon with Greg and Eli. Here's BrandonLan.com. The website is BrandonLan.com. He joins us every Friday to put a smile on your faces and hopefully a few more dollars in your pocket. Good morning, Brandon. Yeah, this is pretty incredible, by the way. What? Just the last year. I'm transparent. As it gets, last year in the NFL, I started on brandenlang.com.

First night was Philly, Dallas, over there at 42 at the half. He had a lightning storm. They kicked one field on the second half. And I just, first three and half weeks, on eight. And then I ended up going 28 and 16. The rest of the way, killed at the NFL playoffs, five and two and had a winning NFL season. Now let's just hope this this year doesn't turn out to be the opposite. Because last night after having the Browns at brandenlang.com, I'm now nine and one in the NFL. So, wow, you had the Browns. Good for you. Yep. That's what I had. And my wife, Ellen, continues to remind me of it last night in bed after the game went final. She goes, you know, you'd be 10 to know if you didn't switch that pick. And she's talking about when it was two weeks ago, when I was on the Jets plus three and a half at home over Green Bay and woke up Sunday morning and posted the Texans minus two and a half over the Bengals. And I was suicidal because I watched the Texans game and just watched them go up and down the field and couldn't execute. And I said, this team is just garbage. Does that Buffalo Wild Wings?

And on the other TVM watching the Jets just should be Green Bay outright. But, you know, just going to keep grinding man. Just going to keep just going to keep grinding man. Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this. So, first of all, I know it's late. Did you stay up for the game last night? For the end of the game? I went to bed. I have a, I snore now. So, now you snore? You just snore? Well, what's funny is there's times I go to bed and I don't snore and I'm in the bed all night. But she has to get up and work early in the morning. So, if I happen to have bad nights, she kicks me out of bed. So, I'll stay in the bed with her until she falls asleep. She's like in a coma and then I'll sneak out of the bed and go into my other room. I'm a full man cave. But last night she fell asleep and I went in the man cave and I'm like, okay, let me see what's going on. I turn the game on. And I watched the Pittsburgh drive. I watched the pass interference panel. They watched them. You know, I've plus three. So, I'm looking at hopefully a push if they screw up. But the play that I almost threw the remote through the TV was when DeShon had fanning

wide open and picked up the first down with like three minutes to go. And it's game over. And he just rolled out of the pocket and just threw it. It just, he was such a bad pass. That gave Pittsburgh the ball back. They went down and scored. And then it's funny. All the highlights. They show the Judy catch that gets it down to the 40. They don't show the first play of that next series where Watson threw a dart and Judy took a hit and got him up to the 45. That was the game. That was the whole ball of wax was that first throw to Judy that watching through a dart and then they got down and see it. I asked you if you watched it because I wonder as a as a handicap for all these years and you know, you're superstition that comes in and all that. They tie the game up. If that game, were you thinking when they tied the game, well, you looked and you saw that they went down the kick the field. But when they tied that game up and got the two point conversion, I'm watching it live to me because I have Pittsburgh minus two and a half. I got them in a parlay with something else with that over under on the North Texas

Tulsi game, which I hit. So I'm thinking, oh my gosh. All right. It's going over time. And I feel good about Pittsburgh. They're on the run now. They're, they're the ones with the momentum. They're going to either kick a field goal or a touchdown in overtime to win it. Did you think that no, OK, there's too much time at the clock. And B, if you look at Cleveland, then the second half, they went up down the field on it. He fumbles down to the Pittsburgh 20. He's got fanning wide open. They just Cleveland never had a problem moving the ball on them pretty much from the second quarter on. And then we're in the past rush. What was wrong with it? Pittsburgh T.J. Wobb is getting mad. They have Cam. They still got dudes on that defense. But they miss quarter. That's a young secondary. And people aren't giving Cleveland enough credit for this young receiver core that Watson has jailed with. And the fact that they kind of find it in the fourth quarter with two comeback victories

the last two weeks. All right. So it's like there's some, there is some cohesiveness offensively there for them. That they got it, they got it going. And you listen, you had Cleveland, you had as much as the Pittsburgh was teed up for the Bengals last week. Pittsburgh at home last week, that game was teed up from a stat standpoint as far as when you, when you looked at the numbers, Pittsburgh Cincinnati last week. I'm just going to quickly run some numbers by you, OK? Because they still blow you away. The Steelers were nine and one straight up against the spread. They're last ten divisional home games. And they had beaten since the seven of the last eight straight up against the spread. And they were getting points. Now last night, Cleveland had won nine straight Thursday night games. Pittsburgh's Owen four against the number. Their last four trips into Cleveland on Thursday night, having not won their 10th through 2009.

And they were Owen five against the spread. Their last five professional road games on Thursday night. So as much as Pittsburgh was teed up for Cincinnati, this was as much as Cleveland nine straight Thursday night wins at home. And you're getting two and a half three. I should have been on brandonlang.com last night to be honest with you. That was it. Last week though, the, the paddle game finally, but it was a paddle games. It was a paddle part lay. It finally lost. What the hell happened with Seattle? Well, it wasn't. It was a teaser. And but we part laid the two, right? We part laid Seattle and we part laid Buffalo. Right. Right. Right. Here's the key. When I gave out that teaser, she still beat me and had a, we had a great Saturday night. And it was fun. But, but, but understand, I thought Darnell was not starting. I thought you lock was starting. What you and more face lock, then I have more faith in lock in the confines of that offense

having played back to back week than Darnell coming off cold lane and a half number on the road. Gotcha. That will, if you're asking if it would have been at home different, but you're asking Darnell to come out, really play his first game of the year. You've heard early hurt the first theory. In the first game of the year against New England, he was hurt. Doesn't play another down at all. And now you're taking him on the road in Washington, Lane 8 and a half. So, okay, Sam, go out there and play like it's mid season form. Ain't going to happen. He was terrible. Well, there are two picks. Well, it was a pick six, but I mean, the line going down in the teaser, I keep saying partly, but the teaser dropping is a two I have. Yeah, they should. They're defense kind of wet the bed. Yeah. But even with Darnell giving away a free seven, they were still right there. Listen, she had no excuses with the paddle. I took a beating, but it's fine. It's in the confines of the marriage of the house on a Saturday. It's her good and you know, she wants to play dominatrix.

That's fine. And so I'm a man. I can, you know, that's it. Well, I'll hit that paddle game this week here in Tick. She ain't going to get to beat me again. All right. Well, let's get to some of these NFL games. There's not a lot of great college, but we'll get to a few of those college. All right. This Rams Eagles game intrigues me 14. He was off today. He knew you were on. He said, I'm going to take off. I just I can't deal with Brandon. That's what he said. I'm going to text him and shred him. I don't know. Rams Eagles the over the total is 42 and a half. I smell a big high scoring game there. A big over on that one. You know, it's funny to me. This is the most interesting game on the card. On one hand Eagles being two and one, they can afford to go to two and two. But can the Rams really afford to go to one and three? No, and Buffalo next week on their schedule. And Buffalo next week, which now you're staring down the barrel of one and four. You got some bad numbers against the Rams.

Three and 12 straight up, two and 13 against the spread versus the NFC. E if they're coming off a loss having scored 17 or fewer points, which Philadelphia did. One to my head, I personally think because I had the Bears Monday night that fillies in trouble. They looked to me like they're in trouble. They play like they're in trouble. Defensively they're in trouble. They if if I understand this, a Vic Fangeo coach defense is this. I got to get there with my four and play zone behind it. I'm confident I can get there with my four. If he doesn't, what happened? Case Keenum looked like Joe Montana and shredded them. So my question is this, do you trust that defense? That case Keenum just lit up against Matthew Stafford if he has time to throw? I know the numbers are bad. I just do. But with what I saw from that Philadelphia defense last night and how they struggled off

offensively last night. I just think LA is going everybody's going to bet Philly. There you have. But with that line, I would feel comfortable taking the Rams. If it moves to three, I would buy it down to two and a half. It moves to three and a half. I'd buy it down to three. It's a must win for the Rams. I just think Philly defense is a problem. Yeah, I'm with you on that. And I also I talked about the over, but the weather. I know the East is going to get a lot of weather. So I'm not sure what the weather situation is Philly. So take take that with, you know, yes, with the grain of salt because I got to look at the weather first before I look at these overs. Now you're talking about the Rams trying to avoid one in three, possibly one in four. And they'd be out of it like pretty much early in the year. The Patriots who made it to the Super Bowl last year are one and two. They look awful. They're playing the bills who had to rally to win last week. Allen didn't play great. He had a couple of picks. Buffalo's a seven point favorite at home. The Patriots are in a desperate mode.

These are the games that screw around with me with the NFL. Like it looks like it's an easy bills win. And this is where the Patriots will play like their greatest game ever. Yep. Thousand percent. Let's, let's break down the Patriots for a minute. Okay? Because here's the great thing about the NFL is you're never as bad as you looked the week before. And there's my best bet last week in the NFL. 200 dimer, which I very rarely release those last two years and those seven and two in the NFL. So I've only released nine the last two years. That's how when I release the 200 dimer, I got to love something. And it was a jack's minus the point of the Patriots. And I'm setting a Buffalo Wild Wings and I'm watching the game. And jacks are only up in the game. Seven three and New England drives right down and he throws a pick in the end zone. Jack's going down the score 14 three. New England goes down and he's got a guy wide open for the touchdown.

Wide open. It's going to be 14 Ken wide open and he over throws it. And then in the second half, it just snowballs and you see a 35 six final. And now everybody's off New England. Everybody's counting them out. They play Seattle tough week one. They blow out Pittsburgh at home and they play perhaps what many are calling probably one of the top two teams in the AFC. If not, the best team in the NFL. The jacks have Denver beat. If Lawrence doesn't throw the pick with three minutes to go in the third quarter of midfield. Drop 13. They're up 13 seven. They're driving. They're up 14. Whatever it is, I think they're up a touchdown and they're driving to go up. He throws the pick that ignites the two scores and they end up losing 20 to 13. It was 13 six. So I believe the jacks are that good. I just do. And I loved them last week. Now you're getting on godly value with a New England team and a divisional game against a team that they won in this building. They have the kind of defense just flow down Buffalo, but offensively they're going to

be able to run the football on Buffalo and it's way too many points in what I think the field goal game. The England is the right side of the game. Is your paddle game in the NFL? Yes, it is. Well, you don't want to. Four hundred and five minutes. So no, although I do like Denver plus the three and a half, I do like Denver plus three and a half. That defense of Denver will hold and the defense of the Niners is a little banged up. And I do, I do like Denver getting points. I know there's some bad numbers, but I just think that this is this is a Denver defense. I think will hold not a game I love. It's not the it's not the paddle game. Patriots plus seven. It's Carolina plus three and a half over Detroit. You got some ungodly numbers supporting Carolina in this game. Wait till you hear these babies. So between these two in the series, Carolina is eight and four straight up in the series,

including six and only home and they've won the last two in Charlotte. Now, yet Detroit team going in there with all the hype of Detroit, basically they don't have a defense. Literally the jets are a play away from being them outright. Yeah. And now you got Detroit going down there, lay in three and a half. Carolina is 15 and one straight up when coming off an outright loss, including 12 and 0 against the number. Their last game. Games. You have a home dog against a team that has no defense. It's the worst. It's a field goal game. Give me Carolina plus three and a half. I like that. All right. Let's get to a couple of the college games. I love that. I look. Mississippi State has been one of the great stories of college football this year. They're at home. I think it will be bad weather. I love Alabama minus six in this one. Be careful. Be careful. Be careful. Be careful. Be careful. Okay. Because you're you're everybody is going to cook for Cocoa Puffs over Alabama and everyone's

loving them and everybody's jocke of them, but let me ask you a question. What is Alabama played next week? Who do they have next week? Let me look. Alabama is the Texas game. Who do they play? Oh, bigger than that. Alabama. They got Tennessee. That's right. You better believe it. They got Georgia. They wait. Georgia. Georgia next week. Then they got Tennessee. Yep. But it's Georgia. This is the reason why both Georgia and Alabama, Georgia is laying 25 and a half to Vandy. And Alabama is a big road favorite. And I set back and I say to myself, you know what's funny about this? What is everybody's putting the cart before the horse with with Alabama? And everybody's like, hey, Bama, here we go. They're looking great. Who was Bama played? East Carolina. Ackentucky. The Kentucky game was a lot closer than it was before. Two Kentucky turnovers turned it around. Alabama got off the bad start. Okay. In their first three games.

Florida state offensively. Not really a juggernaut. Put a 36 on them. Yeah. And then they beat South Carolina home who the game just got away. Now they're on the road against this Mississippi state team that figured out a way to come back and get it done. And they're laying close to seven and it'll probably maybe move to seven. I mean Mississippi state has this year just answered the bell. They're 4-0 straight up. They're 4-0 against the spread. They came back to cover winning by seven against Mizzou. They scored 41 at South Carolina, 38 at Minnesota, 62 at home to Lamanro. And Alabama's got Georgia on deck. I'm sorry. You watch, man. You're a numbers guy. You're a numbers guy in a history guy. They lost 16 straight to Alabama. I get it. I'm not saying they got to win the game, bro. I'm just saying give me the three and a half. Give me three and a half. You're going to get six.

That's what I'm saying. I'm saying it's the field goal game all I need to do. Okay. I see what you're doing. All right. I don't see out with this Mississippi state offense and this quarterback and this coach. I think they hang around, especially with Georgia. Okay. Give me a couple quick answers to these games. Florida, Missouri. Florida coming off the big win over Ole Miss. Five and a half point road favorite. See, Missouri, the home dog. I like them. What's the total? The total is 57 and a half. Over. Play the over in the Florida, Missouri game. They're both scoring 30. Okay. The Auburn and Georgia combined to go over 80. I'm sorry. Florida and Auburn combined to go over 80. I think it was 42, 39, a 44, 39. So yes, over the post-delay. Do you like Tennessee minus seven at home against Auburn? Auburn's one last. I like Auburn. I like Auburn. You like Auburn? I like Auburn in the game. Yep. I like and plus the points. I think Tennessee will overrated. Okay. And then Ohio State Iowa. 14 points spread.

It's funny. It's like how does Iowa get back up off the deck after winning at the buzzer against Ohio State team that if you look at last week, Michigan's pass offense had two receivers combined for about 240 yards. And now here comes Ohio State with that offensive passing game. I just don't see. They'll hang around for a while, but I just don't think Iowa has enough offensively. And I know their defense is good, but Ohio State is going to score 30 plus. All right. Good. I don't see Iowa. The paddle game, the Panthers in Charlotte where I'm headed. Three and a half point home dog to the Detroit Lions. That is take the Panthers. That's Brandon's paddle game. Make sure you check out the website Brandon Lang dot com.
