Your persistence in prayer matters. God doesn't just want to heal one person; He wants the grace to spill over until your whole family is transformed from the inside out.

One person's faith can become the doorway for an entire household's miracle. I met Rory Pasimio 40 years ago. She attended our prayer meeting, carrying a heavy burden. One she had been carrying for many years. Her marriage with her husband Roy was breaking apart. Roy had all the classic vices. In prehistoric times, meaning to say when I was very young, they called it ABS CBN. Or, alakpabae sugal, cabaret beerhouse nightclub. For years, he had many girlfriends. It seemed Rory's life was destined to be filled with pain and misery. But Rory had faith. She believed that God had a great plan for her. She believed her future was brighter than her past. She didn't want a broken marriage and a broken family.

So she prayed for God's miracle for Roy. But she didn't only have faith, she also had action. She also worked on herself. She stopped the nagging. She stopped the fighting. And she surrendered him to God. God's miracle came in the form of a stye. Or kuliti, have you ever had one? A stye usually stays for a few days, perhaps a week. But Roy, her husband, had an extraordinary stye that lasted for five long months. One day, Roy's office mate was in the hospital with cancer. He called up Roy and said, I heard Rory attends a prayer meeting. Can you ask her and her friends to pray over me here at the hospital? Naturally, Roy was forced to go with Rory. And there he saw them pray over his sick friend.

He saw how his friends count and exchange from restlessness to peace. And Rory couldn't believe her ears. When she heard Roy ask her friends, can you also pray over my stye? They prayed over him. And in three days, his five-month-old stye was totally healed. From there, Rory invited Roy to attend the prayer meeting. Roy said, one by one, his vices went away many years later. Roy Pasimio became our missionary to different countries. Yes, the impossible happened. Roy has opened different feasts in Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Australia, New Zealand. How did this miracle happen? A woman named Rory dared to believe that God had something greater in store for her.

She believed that her future was brighter than her past. That wasn't all. Rory and Roy have two adult children, Gemma and Tei, who are serving the Lord as well. In today's Gospel, we find a similar story. A royal official comes to Jesus because his son is dying. He is desperate, helpless, afraid, and he begs Jesus, sir, come down before my child dies. But Jesus does something unexpected. He says, you may go. Your son will live. The Bible says that the man believed when Jesus said to him and left. Friend, that is faith. When he reached home, he discovered that his son had been healed at that exact hour. But here's the part I want you to notice. The Gospel says, he and his whole household came to believe.

Did you catch that? The miracle didn't stop with one boy's healing. The blessing overflowed into the whole family. That's how God often works. He touches one person and the grace spills over to others. He heals one heart and the healing spreads through the whole household. He changes one life and generations are never the same again. Maybe you are the Rory in your family. Hey, maybe right now you're the only one praying, the only one believing, the only one going to God when everyone else has given up. Maybe your spouse is far from God. Maybe your child is in rebellion. Maybe your family is scaring wounds, addictions, secrets, brokenness. And you're wondering, Lord, will anything ever change?

Today God's answer is yes. Do not stop believing. One person's faith can become the doorway for an entire household's miracle. Rory was praying for Rory, but God did more than change Rory. God raised up a missionary. God raised up servant children. God turned pain into ministry. God turned a wounded home into a blessing for the nations. That's our God. Today if your family is still not okay, don't give up. The story is not yet finished. Your assignment is not to control the outcome. Your assignment is to keep bringing your family to Jesus. Because one encounter with Jesus can change an entire household. I have a question for you.

I want you to answer in the comments below and let's have a conversation. Who in your family are you praying for today? Right? Husband or wife or parents or children in the comments? And let us pray together. Before we do full-time family, I invite you to not just observe Holy Week this year, but experience it. We are going to have a Holy Week retreat and a grand Easter feast. When April 2 to 5, Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena, and I'd love to see you there. Tickets are available at the Feast BICC at SM Ticket Outlets or Online. You can also click the link below. Come let us pray for your family. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Jesus, I bring before you my family. The brokenness, the wounds, the pain, the addictions, every relationship, every hidden pain. Help in Lord to keep believing even if I do not yet see the full miracle. Use my faith, my prayer, and my life as a channel where your grace will flow to my family. And I believe that what you begin, you will complete in Jesus' name. Amen. And amen. Friends, I repeat, I hope to see you in our Holy Week retreat and grand Easter feast. Those are four beautiful days. Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday and Easter Sunday. Where Mall of Asia Arena? Grab your tickets and I'll see you there. See you tomorrow.
