On Thursday, a judge ordered a suspended sentence of two to five years in prison. McDaniels was arrested in April after a crash on St. Louis Avenue that left a long-time photojournalist Sam Morris critically injured. was ordered Thursday to stay out of trouble for a year. 62-year-old Steven Bell, who calls himself the pickleball property guy pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI charge. The Clark County School District is still determining whether to install cameras on its school buses as concerns increase across the U.S. of Big Brother style surveillance from AI. The concern is will these bus cameras be used only to deter scoff-loom motorists who blow by school buses as they're loading and unloading students? Or could they ultimately tie into broader surveillance networks by law enforcement? This creates privacy concerns. Camera companies bus patrol and verimobility say their equipment is not designed for continuous monitoring but civil rights organizations are worried about the

potential for abuse. A former casino site in North Los Vegas is being turned into a mixed use campus focused on athletics. Aguara Realty and management gave an update on its sweeping plans

for the 25 acre site that was once home to Fiesta Rancho. The project, part of Aguara's high-low park development, a long-rancho drive will be anchored by a new 250,000 square foot indoor sports complex with 10 NBA quality courts. The complex will also host a charter school that combines a regular curriculum with athletic training. Aguara says the project will be finished late next year.
