Many people believe buying a home requires a large down payment and years of saving, but that's not always the case. Across the country, there are programs designed to help first-time home buyers take the next step toward home ownership. Some of these programs offer down payment assistance or grant funding that may help cover part of the upfront cost of purchasing a home. Grants are especially helpful because they generally do not have to be repaid. There are also organizations that provide home buyer education, financial counseling, and guidance to help individuals understand the home buying process before they begin. The goal is simple. To help more families become informed and prepared for home ownership, if owning a home is something you've been thinking about, start by visiting tools for homeownership.com. This message is brought to you by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling's Paving the Way Forward Initiative. Now, at this time, but Panthers Lions, Top 10, like how you faded that out.
I thought the music was coming right behind me. It's a fast transition. There we go. I believe I went first the last time. I think I went first last time. Okay, all right. You did. No, no, no, you did. Okay. I will love first this time. Number 10, Sam Laporta. Top 10 among tight ends and catches and yards. He's got one touchdown on the year. He's been a little banged up, which has kind of slowed his progress, but he is still looked at as a tremendous threat for the Detroit Lions. I start my top 10 off with Mr. Laporta. Yeah, I got Sam Laporta there as well. I think Sam Laporta is a complete tight end. He was fun. His rookie season, I think, led the league in receiving yards at the tight end position and then got hurt last year after having a really nice first half of the season. I think he's an awesome tight end that isn't as celebrated because Detroit's really talented. Okay, I like to give you a little bit of some foreshadowing with these top tens. You got Panthers on the list, but it's going to be a start contrast in who is in the bottom
half of the top 10 and who's in the top half of the top 10. Sam Laporta, you squeeze in there. You're a really good football player. Number nine, I've got the NFL's premier speed wide receiver since Tyree Keele left the building. I'm talking about Mr. James and Williams coming off of back to back 1000 yard seasons, including a career high 1117 yards last year. He's got 17 career touchdowns averages 17. He likes 17, 17 yards per catch for his career. I mean, I like what he brings in offense so much almost put him ahead of some guys, man, because he's a weapon that every NFL team would want just because of that speed element. You cannot put a heavy box out there when James some Williams is out there on the field. Yeah, he's a tough one to place for me because I do love what he brings to it offense. Also one, you got talented players in this football game on both sides. I don't have Jamo in the top 10.
I thought about putting him up there. Well, okay, buddy. 1100 yards last year. I don't have him in top 10. Why do we do these? Honestly, well, you have him nine. It's not like I have I had a closeout to be in the top 10. Come on. Wait, how is Wes allowed to look at me the way that he looked at me and you got him nine? I mean, but still I mean because they're on because there are, but that speaks to the talent that's in this game. But James and Williams is certainly a top 10 player. Yeah, I'm sorry. He's confident that James and Williams in the top 10 player. He's barely in. Hey, if he was a Panther, a flounder would have, I mean, a walker would have him number three. He was a thousand yard receiver with another receiver that's better than him on the roster. And also have a thousand. If he was a Panther, Walker would have him number three in this game. I'm going to tell you that's a game of that kind of speed. I don't know. I am so disgusted with Walker's opinion.
I have a whole two-spot. He doesn't matter. I got him in. Okay. I have a whole two-spot. And that speaks to the talent in this game. Oh, this is a gracious. You should have put him two spots ahead of what you had him at. This is absolutely redoculous. Yeah. I have team agon number nine. Okay. Thousand yard receiver, offensive rookie of the year, bad game last game. And that's why I think I had him drop a couple of spots because he was in a category with a couple of other guys in that Cleveland matchup. Yeah. I went back. I actually kept my list from last week to help me out. Okay. Some of these future projections. I had team agon ahead of Bryce and Derek Brown going into that Cleveland game. He gets knocked back a couple spots. I have Teteroroic Mellon at number eight. And when I say I almost put James and Williams in front of him because I think about it, if I would have picked players from this game that I would want from my team, I would kill to have a speed receiver like this on my roster because he just does so much to the defense. And with the respect to Teteroroic Mellon, his offensive rookie, the yes, that is right
now he's currently top 30 in receiving yards and receptions. He's got zero drops and he's 18th in yards per catch. I got Bryce Young number eight. I look right at us. I love it. It's a theme now. I can't put him anywhere in the top four because I got to see what's in there. And it's such a natural reaction to man. It's like food and music. Once you say it, I can't hide how I feel about it. Got a lot of really good players in this game. You do. Bryce Young was fifth. That's what he's going into the Cleveland game. I think Bryce didn't have a very good game against Cleveland. Sure. He was run for his life, which is why I didn't kick him out of the top 10. I had him actually jump team act because I thought team act was worse in that game against Cleveland. So Bryce does jump up one spot ahead, even if it was a bad performance against the Browns. And I think that there's a lot of talented players on Detroit. And you'll see that in the top five. I can respect that a little bit. I can respect that. Number seven for me. I've got Jaylen Coker. He is eighth in the NFL in receptions.
Zero drops. Nineteenth in passer rating when targeted. Thirteenth in receiving yards. And he's got a couple of touchdowns. So I got Coker. And number seven. Jaylen Coker not in top 10 for me. Got out. Also a little banged up. Don't know if he's going to suit up. Man, I'm freaking. I can take that. I can take that rationale for other than that. Well, the other thing is if we're going to go back to last year for Jamo. Uh-huh. Why is Coker ahead of Jamo or Teamak if he doesn't have anywhere close to the production that Jamo's got? Well, because of the season he should be at a coach. Because of the season that he's having right now. And just me projecting. I think that yeah. OK. But there is there is a counterintuitiveness to that logic with having Jamo where he is. And Coker ahead of him. Well, if you go back to the last year. And if two is which players I would take. I mean, but that's why I said with Jamo's and Williams, I almost wanted to put him over both of those guys. But yes, I do think Coker is a player. That's how much I think of him as a player. I think Coker is very good as well.
Jamo does not have the amount of receiving yards that Coker had even in the first game of the season. So no, that's true. But he's still, you know, coming off back to back 1000 y'all seasons. He'll get you all agree. I think he'll get a great player. I have a better hope. And I think this week. I hope it's to a he might go off. That's the thing about Jamo, man. I don't know how much production is going to get. We could he could go for 201 week and then go for 30 the next week. He's a hell of a weapon. I respect him as a player. I got Derek Brown ahead of team act. Derek Brown had a better game against the Cleveland Browns. We still need to see more past rushing production from him. You talk about a guy that you would be choosing. Derek Brown would be one of the top picks that you would have building an NFL roster on the defensive side. Church mouse right now. Anyway, Bryce Young. I have at number six. He's currently 11th in the NFL and QBR. He's leader in passing yards. He's top of fifth and passing touchdowns. And then I dug into a little bit of the nerd stuff. And he's eighth and catchable and accurate passes. So he's not throwing the seed. He's an accurate.
He's still throwing a ball that his receiver should be able to get. And he is seventh in accuracy over expectation. So he's playing a really good ball by showing number six. Devon Lloyd comes in at number six for me. He missed his last game. Has he had go? He's he looks to be a full participant. So I think that's what. Yes, if you don't have them, that's why he wasn't a mind. I wasn't sure that he's playing. So now it's justifiable to not have Jamel, right? No, okay. I just want to make sure I didn't know I want to make sure. But no, Devon Lloyd comes in at number six that we know about the stat line against the Atlanta Falcons. I think that this team struggled a little bit without Devon Lloyd. I wonder what he would have done against Harold Fanon in coverage. Maybe nothing. There were some safeties on Harold Fanon in the red zone. That probably still happens, but he's a hell of a player, man. He was an all pro last year. We're going to go through that. I think pretty consistently throughout our top 10 segments this year. He just misses out on the top five spots. What you want to do? Do you want to get one more in and then we pick it up at two or do you want to because
we miss it won't have the time and we got five of those coming up. I think we can keep going. We'll rapid fire this. Okay. All right. We'll wrap it up. All right. All right. Number five for me, Jared golf. I've got it five. I got him at five as well. Okay. Yeah, I got him at five. I'm going back for Walker, right? Yeah. I'm shocked by that. Normally, he's a, because he's a guy we've had some tussles within the pass on his way of Jared golf. Hey, man, he's and he's built a resume up a lot over the last couple of years. I'm a state. Number four for me. I got Bigfellow. Panay Soule is my number four player in this game. I got your favorite. You're going to be mad at me. He's here. Number four. Hey, Hutchinson. I'm going to go ahead. I'm not that mad at it. And I think I think this is the reason why you're not mad at it. It's because of injuries. Well, yeah, but not only that when you got to the top four, I could see a different combinations of guys that you could put here. So if I can rely on my favorite games, I'd have them. Maybe number one.
Yeah, all right. Hutchinson going for like a Collins Simmons tight game in this. Yeah, cause for me, I got a Hutch at three. And that's one. Okay. This is tough. I justified Hutchinson at four because of the injuries. This is where I really don't care who you have top three. I think there's one guy and I have him at number one. I've got Ammon Ross at number three. Okay. He's a hell of a player, man. You have a top tackle and you have a top running back on any other team. Ammon Ross is number one. I'm putting him number one. I'm not sweating it. Yeah. He here. He's number three. Okay. So I'm gonna get the mid-air Gibe's at two. I've got Gibe's. He's got tons of records. I got a lot of good information here. I hate that we had the rapid fire. Regardless of the time. I mean, go ahead, you call it up. You call it up. You call it up. It's 130 years. Go for it. All right. I mean, you know, he is. He does have multiple probolos. He's off to a great start. But he did set an NFL benchmark by starting a season with 300 Rushing Yards, four Rushing Touchdowns, 150 receiving Yards, and two receiving TDs in the first three games.
Not bad. I thought about putting him to ultimately I put soil there. I think it's not like the respect for the big man. I think he is maybe the best run blocking tackle in the league and he's a damn good pass blocking tackle, even if there are just a few, I don't even say, I don't wanna say warts. He's just not an elite pass protecting tackle. He'll give up some pressures. He's still really good at it and he's really good at going back and forth. Because of some of the injuries, he had to go to left tackle after being a pro ball all pro right tackle. I value the versatility. I value the nastiness. I think Penaisule is the second best play. Well, for me at number one, I value accolades and that is why I'm unrotting Brown is my number one player in this game. He is a four time pro ball selection but also a three time all pro. The only player in this game with multiple all pros in this one and he's having a decent start to the year but you know I'm unrotting. He's gonna pick it up. This is a guy that played with burnt up feet and body parts. Oh my god, you're right. Come back to hand.
What do you have? Hand foot and mouth disease. That's it. Yeah, he looked rough man. Yeah. And he knew it and he was wearing a ski mask. This ski. Oh, yeah. All right, so yeah, I'm unrotting my number one. I just don't know who the better offensive weapon in football is compared to Jumir Gibbs. I don't know who's better right now. I think from an offensive player of the year standpoint, MVP is always gonna go to QB. I love a lot of the receivers out there. Jamar Chase, Puka, whoever you wanna roll with when they're healthy. Jumir Gibbs, he knew everything man. Yeah, he's got the argument for best offensive weapon. He's more powerful than people give him credit for too. I think it's Bajan and Jumir that are all going to have the argument for who's the best running back in the league. I just think Jumir Gibbs is on another planet right now. All he does is score touchdowns. I think we could be in store for a historic LT type of running back season from him. No, David Montgomery to take carry's away. Yeah, people, it's crazy to be able to forget man. He started his career, a Georgia Tech yellow jacket. This episode sponsored by Good Ranchers.
