Learn more at CountryFinancial.com Where I was there was this fella, the fella I want to tell you about. Fellaboy the name of Todd Lieber. At least that was the handle his 11 parents gave him, and he never had much use for himself. This Lieboy, he called himself Liebo. Sometimes there's a man, wow, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there.
And that's Todd Lieber. All right, at Tuesday edition, final hour here heading up until 2 o'clock. Majorly baseball playoffs getting underway here in just a little bit. Sterling's Philly's taking the field against Sterling's Braves and then Sterling's White Sox will be taking on. I don't get this. He doesn't like the Braves. Sterling's Astros. All Philly. The Trastros. All Philly's rooting for the White Sox. He's rooting for the White Sox to the over the Houston Astros. Yeah, but can't they both lose? No, they work. That's not actually. Yes, correct. Until there's an actual winner, I'm going to hold out to see if they can both lose. Yeah, until they were, you can't prove me wrong right now. True, that they can't both lose. Because right now, I'm need to see the Red Sox Yankee five days. Thank God. Yeah, I'm going to guess this will get over about six o'clock tonight, right? No, he doesn't start. Oh, it starts to seven. That's right. That's going to be 11. Yeah, even with the pitch clock, we're going to right here on Sports
Radio. It's in we're going to join the Cubs and Padres game in progress in the ninth inning for that one. We were both leaning against that one. Yeah, but Cubs and Padres first pitches at nine o'clock tonight. We will join that one in progress when Red Sox and Yankees wrap up their game one of the Wild Card tonight at Yankee Stadium. Aaron Judge not on the Wild Card roster for just not. That's what I good enough. Yeah, they said he is not good enough. Cereani would have called him a name. I'm not sure what the name was, but you could read the lips. Yeah, I could. Cereani would have called him something. The Royals made a move today and that is Alex Zomwalt has been reassigned. He is not fired. They are reassigning Alex Zomwalt. He will remain senior director of hitting performance, which is the job that he had before taking over full time for
Terr-Batcha as the hitting coach of the Royals in 2022 and stayed on in that role in 23 24 25 and then also 26. So now we'll see if it's going to be Marcus Tim's or Connor Dawson. Take over as one particular hitting coach or will they combine or will the Royals go out and try to find somebody else to bring in? Is it, you know, like it? Marcus Dawson. That's right. There it is. Connor Tim's. I'm not Kelly. Kelly. Thanks. There we go. Kevin Sites or who knows? He's available as well. So there's the there's the news. Todd, I feel like if they were going to do this and I know it's like, well, doing it in the middle of the season, what is it accomplished? The benefit that I think PR-wise, the Royals may have received by doing this in like May, they do not get by doing it in September almost October. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, it's just a weird spot. I don't think they were going to, people weren't going to go flood to the stadium. I was.
I mean, I was going to make a change in hitting coach. Let's buy tickets for the fanways. Yes. More bobble heads. I don't think that was going to happen. So. But I think there would have been a little bit of a, okay, thank you. You're you're listening or whatever. You see that it's a problem too and then waiting to the end of the season when everybody's sort of moved on to football. Well, most people moved on to football at this point. By the time they played the whole year. Yeah. Some pretty good offensive right happening. Yeah. My buddies on our texturing were like, when does the base running coach get fired? So. Well, according to JJ, he gets promoted. Their base running was really good this year. I don't know. Didn't seem that way. Maybe we just focus on the bad things. I guess. I mean, maybe going first or. They have a little data that goes, you know, it's just a part where they where they run into outs that people. I remember I remember the data that we did. When we were doing home runs versus outs on the base pads and keeping track of that the first month and a half of the season and outs on the base pads was winning. Royals ended up 16 and OPS this year. 16th tied with the Braves. We're considering where they were after the first month.
I mean, they probably were about 10th of last three months of the season. Tied with the Braves ahead of the Padres Red Sox. Philly's better than playout teams. Yeah. And Cleveland playoff teams. Yeah. OPS that better than have to playoff. There it is. So put them in. Hang the banner. So why are you moving on? Why did Zubol have the bullpen be so bad? Yeah. Maybe the maybe the bullpen coach. Hey, here's the deal. The rules have a lot of issues. They didn't hit the ball early. Yeah. They didn't get anyone out in the 7th inning or beyond most of the year. And most doubles in base ball. All the doubles. We'll see they need to move that fence and even closer. So we'll be close. 220 to center field. We get to this. Someone's hitting the ball over the wall. No more doubles. 20 seconds and runs scored. That's a problem. You got to score more runs. Well, you got the OPS. You're doing that. You're not scoring as many runs because you're getting thrown out on the base beds. And are. Or are you in risk?
Yeah, they were horrible. A lot of the risk bit. There were games would be, you know, they probably really high left on base. Because if you're getting on base and you're not scoring runs, your L.O.B. is pretty good. You're so. It's not good, but high. High. We're real here from about this time tomorrow. Here from JJ and Q. So everyone who was wanting Q to get fired, he's having a press conference tomorrow. Of course Dan Wilson announced his own firing yesterday. How bush league of the Mariners organization was that? Wow. That was pretty. He was what? I can out away from the world series with the mayor. When the year your prior review at the plate. Oh, right. Yeah. And they just said, hey, you know, you're going to fire yourself. He's an interesting guy. We've had several times that I've been for in for Seren. They've had someone off from Seattle. And you know, Dan Wilson's one of these guys. He's a longtime mayor and all. Yeah. So he's, you know, everyone's like, why don't you just hire so-and-so to be your manager.
It's tough to fire so-and-so when they've been part of your organization for 20-some years. And I think he didn't really want to do it, but they did it and had a guy hit 60 home runs. They made the world series. So and then they'd work quite as good. The Mariners organization, you think about the lack of playoff appearances for the royals. Mariners would love to have as few playoff appearances as the royals have and like actually making it to a world series. But they didn't make it. They lost to, they lost to the Blue Jays. Yeah. None the home run is up there. Yeah, it's right. I was, I got those two confused. The review away for the Blue Jays, they're winning it all. Yes, correct. Yeah. Mariners were game seven. The, the royals in April, March, April, May, in OPS ranked 26th. From June 1st on, they were ninth in baseball in OPS. Well, that's also an issue. Vinnie, every year starts slow. That cannot happen year after year. I mean, you kind of expected some of these guys.
Vinnie, I don't get it. I mean, he's a veteran now. I mean, you'd expect maybe Carter Jensen not to just come flying out of the gates because he's younger and he got a little taste of it last year. They, they looked at him for a month. Now they know kind of how to attack it. I thought Cags really got better as the year went on. Two E9. Higher than Bobby Whitt. Was that a factor for you? That was a factor fiction fact. I said fact. Yeah. It was going to be Cags. Go check tape. Got it. That's a fiction, I think. I feel like I won. You dumb bastard. Yeah, and now, like, but I'm still tied. Now we go back and now we can go back and change that that that went. I can go check the scores. Put that one in my category. But the real thing that they do. The rules also, by the way, were seventh and slugging from June 1st on. What they need to do is they need to have better players. More of yeah, they don't have enough really good players. Isaac Collins. While they've had true failures, he wasn't a failure. But he was not what he was before he got here. You know, this wasn't Hunter Rinfrow. Ask.
I'd call it a better. Jonathan India. E OPS at 641 that they expected him to be a, but it at least to seven, twenty seven, three of Royals failures. Hunter Rinfrow. Melinda. Melinda. Jonathan India. Not deploying like that. Get that. But I mean, he was not what he should have been, but they've had worse people play outfield for them than him. And this was Kyle Isbell's probably worst year in a couple of years. You have to move on. You cannot be your center of fielder. No, you cannot have a guy. Isbell should be your fourth outfield. No, he can't. Fourth outfielder. No, I'm done. He OPS at 591. People act like he's Kevin Kiermeyer and center field. And he is a people say he's a good defensive center. I'm saying he's not a lead. No, no, he's your fourth outfielder coming. No, I'm the eighth inning. I'm told. On this team, then Kyle Isbell. No, I'm not. Finding defensive replacement. I'm not going Tyler Tolberton in the outfield. I'll go Kyle Isbell. My point is I don't think Kyle Isbell is as good defensively as people make him out.
I don't really have at five but 91. Right, but he's willy-may is compared to Tyler Tolberton in the outfield. But what they don't know are your only two options. But that's fine. But what they need to have is like I said, maybe the best thing would be your team is too good that Kyle Isbell can't be on your team. But the next best step probably for them is he is a guy. He went to him at that point. And he comes in defensive replacement plays against varieties on Sundays. Something like that. But the guys have been your stalwart for years out there. It's just not good enough. And that's still better than what they've gotten out of the left field. But the last how many years? Since Gordo quip. I mean, it's incredible how bad they've been. Been in Tendi for a year. I was frustrated that Rocco Fort didn't get an opportunity because I can. I think he could be your center of fielder next year. Even to start the season because if you're going to put so much emphasis on defense, he is just as good offensively as Kyle. Hey, Zion Rose. Let's get him. He can better get up.
He'll you bag. I mean, he's a college kid. So he's not some kid. Let's go. Zion Rose. My thought is they're scared that he was going to struggle offensively. Kyle Isabel, OPS at 591. Yeah, but you're not worried about, you know, ruining Kyle Isbell by by struggling. Here's the thing. Isbell is all the time. You got to just be right in these things. And they drafted Gavin Cross. And he's just not been good enough. He's 25 years old now, right? I thought maybe he would get a look in September as a call up. I was shocked. The royals didn't call up a number of guys. He's just given a look because of where they're at. You want to see what Drew Waters is going to offer. I've seen Drew Waters a bunch of times. But so he's in. Cross is batten 240 in triple A. You know, OPSing down there at 740. That's fine. But I mean, he's going to get a chance. But he was up at triple A this year. Not good enough. If you're 25 years old. With this outfield, it's your major league level. And you can't make it up here.
I don't know what they're doing. Well, maybe, maybe there's some things with starting the clock. The guy who knows what the minor league, what minor league season will happen. If you're on the 40 man ride, I don't know what, what all the things are with the labor. There's a lot of things we may not know much about on that. But if you got drafted, who else got drafted? That was the 22 draft. I'm guessing most of the people in the top 10 have been in the major league. Actually, not that many. Jackson holiday has been up. He's been mixed results. That's kind of a weak draft. That's 22. Yeah. Zach Netto has been really good. Yeah. Being great. Brooks Lee is up with the twins. But then also, like, when you got to, and I do this as well, but when you got to go through and search like anybody at that point, you're like, okay, so. Yeah, I was like the 13th round. You're like, okay, well, that's not. Yeah, but even if you even if you drafted Zach Netto, it's like, okay, you got the guy. But then every other team that drafted before Zach Netto is going, why did you take Zach Netto? Yeah, because you didn't get the guy that. I just keep going back to Carson several of those guys are high school guys in front of me. Yeah. If you're if you're a college guy, you have a Mazikado.
22. Those cross. The other cross was that he was the ninth thing. 21 was Mazikado. And but, you know, they drafted a guy who's a college guy. Carter, you know, you think he's going to get up here quick. And he's just not there. And I don't listen. Sometimes you get roadblock with some team because, oh my god, look at this shortstop here. Who's roadblocking outfielders? With that. Well, the issue is 2021-22. They're playing a first-base minute outfield. Right. Okay. Thank you. That's what they're talking about. 2021-22. Lacey Mazikado Cross. That was a that's a rough stretch. Yeah, maybe Cross will get up here. I mean, you know, he's not like he's batting 201. Three straight top 10 picks that one of them's not playing baseball anymore. The other one might be a reliever and another one might get a cup of coffee. Maybe. I don't know. Yeah, right. So I mean, that's, you know, hey, the velocity is increased. Okay. Cool. I mean, what? I know he was a high school kid and high school pitchers take a little bit of time and not everybody's going to be, you know, stud high school guys that, you know, make their way up to the big leagues quickly. You know, and could have never got injured this year. So maybe they take, if they took Carter at that spot, you'd be like, all right,
see it's paying off. It's a great first round draft pick. The issue is you got Carter in the third round. So take advantage of getting him in the third round and get a first round of that also comes up and excels and produces and is a part of your team. But they didn't. So they went signability, which is fine to get Kudana and Carter. Eight ERA from Mazicado. The devil A this year. Is that good? No. No, the higher walking one though, right? Is it the higher it goes, the better? If that's the case, you're in for something special. It's killing it. Yeah, it's like you're whipped to be. One and a half. I think it's like, I think you want your whip to be like your, uh, your OPS. That's right. The better. I just not higher. I can know that's his career. Last last year, it was 1.9. There you go. Oh my gosh. It's a great OPS. So that's like Barry Bond's ass. That's like, you know what? Two dudes and any getting. Hasn't ever had a bulk. Let's go. Okay, rock before though. This is my, the guy can work him, work around a rubber as well as anybody. Issue with the organization.
Yes. You call him up to double A. He's 24. He OPS is at 8.62. Right. But the knock against him is he strikes out too much. Your center of fielder in the majors strikes out too much. What do we do? Like I don't understand the thought process of, we have Kyle Isbel. So we can't call him Carson Rocco Fort. It's Kyle. I'm not, I'm not dying on some Kyle Isbel. Yeah, I'm not either. I'm saying he's a major league player. I'm mostly not dying on a Rocco Fort Hill that he was the difference if he'd have been called. No, no, no, I'm not done on a hill. I'm done on a rock. I'm going to know it can be. Well, maybe maybe get out of the left left hand or in the eighth inning. That's what the Royals made your problem. Yeah, I mean, looking back if you're talking about OPSing in the top 10 from June 1st on. The offense wasn't the issue. It was the pitching. The starting staff, the injuries and the bullpen. That's where you got to spend your resources. 37 people pitched for the Royals issue. Oh my god. Now some of those were Tyler Tover. How many pitched for the Royals in 24? 10. No, it was, it was only one of them were tired.
It was quite a bit less, but yeah, but it wasn't, you know, some teams have this number. We did this question on Chumps a couple of weeks ago. 14 people pitched for the Royals in 1985. And two of them pitched like three games. Oh, look at the, it's crazy. It's it, I mean, the world's different now. But 37 is a bunch. Look at this. Like I said, they two or three guys. I mean, it wasn't just Tolbert. I think, I think Luke Melee pitched. Yeah, you know, you know, you're a list. Luke Melee, Josh Rojas, Carlos Durran, Aaron Bummer, Tony Gondzaland, Carlos Sestives, got one Carlos Sestives, Spencer Bivens. Yeah, never spent. He just up here this last that week. Drake sent me the, the screen shot of the transaction. And he's like, are these real people? And sure enough, Spencer Bivens was in the game last week. It's her Bivens, Bivens, Ditty. Tyler Tolbert, who threw four and two thirds. Someone else threw another position player pitch. Yeah, Josh Rojas. Yeah, it's over like five times. Rojas. Yeah, Tolbert did through five times. This is my last corner. It's too many times. Connor Seabold related to Curris Seabold.
Mitch Spins, East and McGee. Eric Serrentola. How about Bailey Falter? Remember that era? Bailey Falter, Nolan Huffman. Sure. Anthony Goose. Oh, yeah. Say that he goes. Yeah, you could, you could obviously say like 10 names and we wouldn't know if they're real people. Anthony Goose, and I'd point out there. Point six, six, ERA. Sure he did. I like calling him Goose. Sup Goose. We're back Jose Quas. Goose, sir. Which way? Backway. Backway. Nick Mears, remember him that beginning of the season? Oh, yeah. The Royals had. East and McGee. All kinds of games. The Royals had seven players in 2024. Make a start that we're not openers. They had nine total players make a start in 2024. Two of them were openers. Jonathan Bullin and Dan Atevia. But just actual starting pictures. They had seven. Yeah, I mean, they basically. Lorenzo and Lynch. And then they had. Lugo Reagan, singer, walk up.
Marsh. They had five guys start 25 games. Yeah. You know, and they, honestly, this year they had like three to it. I mean, his camera was there all the time. Lugo as much as nobody likes it. He's going to be back because he's under contract and he's innings. He should be a bull. He's out there eating innings. Okay, Jordan Liles. Well, he's eating innings better than Jordan Liles was. He didn't lead to league and losses. Yeah, that was the problem with Jordan Liles. Jordan Liles is eating innings. He's throwing five. He's got no hint of anything wrong going anywhere else in his life. Yeah, where you have to just cut you in the middle of the year and have you on the team and not pay you. So let's not put him in that category. Well, I was saying not paying that Lugo would actually work. That would help the royals if they didn't have to pay him the 20 million dollars. Bull a Gilmash. You signed it. Yes, I know. He should pull a Gilmash, right? Yeah, you could go tell Mrs. Lugo that. Yeah, right. I'm going to turn it. Turned out 20 million dollars. So I don't go out there and have a five year. A throughout the season. No, I'll take a five. I'll take a 10 year. He's got to be here with the ABS. He'll get it all figured out. That's probably what it is. Yeah, that's not a deal. Well, down to six pitches. Well, once it couldn't be the fact that his fastball was like the worst of any pitch in
baseball, right? Couldn't be that. Well, once Carter figures out which pitches to challenge and which not to challenge, then Lugo will be fine. Well, that'll take a while. You know, once that happens. It's all aggressive on some of the only thing that hurts him as forcing fastball was. Apparently. Was his breaking ball the first percentile on all of baseball. Which is bad, by the way. Yeah. Oh, it's not the top one percent. Is it one percent or no? No, no. Yeah. Okay. Well, he's a one percent or in terms of salary. So that's maybe not even that. No, 20 million here. You're not in top one. That's probably not. That's a good point. Yeah. That's true. Maybe top two percent to 1,5 percent. Three, four, top five percent. He's got to be at least in top 10, right? Probably top 10. I would hope. Yeah. Yeah. So I mean, look, the resources we can complain about, you know, what's going on in center field and rocker Ford or not. But the bullpen was a travesty. And the starting staff was a mash unit. The bullpen was too. But they've got to figure all of that out. And what are the resources they're going to use to figure that out?
I don't know. Maybe some offensive players. Maybe some pieces there. Hey, maybe they'll be baseball. Who knows? That's a good point. Maybe Reagan's will return sometime in the near future. In the next two or three years, that'd be cool. But they got a lot of Tommy John's going on. So they get the, or is it Tommy's John? Is it like attorneys general? Tommy's John. Tommy's in law. Tommy's John surgeries or Tommy John's surgeries. I'm not sure. They got a lot of those going on as well. So we got to figure out. So that logo as ERA this year was over a run better than Jordan Lyle. So do you don't compare those guys? That's how bad. Okay, but you hear me out. You don't put that evil on him, Ricky Bobby. Here's the trend. Three, four point one five five point one seven. I'm just saying if the trend continues, where it was six. It's in. They got these robots out there. That's true. Come on. That's true. The robots. Yep. Uh, walk I got to 200 innings. So that was good. Yeah.
Uh, made sure he was going to get there. Seth Lugo gave up 200 hits. He led the league and hits and led the league and run. He's around the plate. So except for all the walks that he had. Except for those. There's just no really good way to cut it. Yeah, you're trying though. Just saying it is like, hey man, at least it's not Hunter Rennfro. At least it's not Jordan Lyle's. You know, he lose 100 games. Come on. Here we are. Yep, only 93. I'm glad that Lugo is very optimistic. Only when I say that. I'm just, uh, not as optimistic as you. But, but I do think if we are being realistic about it and saying from June 1 to the end of the season, this is not a hey in September they did this. Yeah. Right. June 1 to the end of the season. They were top 10 in OPS. They were number seven and slugging. That is something to build on with the core of the offense that you have returning. You know what they say? If it ain't broke, fix it. Yeah. Well, it was broke for a while. They just finally got to end up fixing it. So it might have fixed itself. But still, or maybe the offense was Conrad Austin and Marcus Tim's finally
getting a hold of the players and them getting the relationship and figuring out what makes those guys tick and then working together and then they took off. And Alex Zumult had to maybe slide aside while that happened. Yeah. That might have been the case. A lot of the cooks in the kitchen on this stuff. Three hitting coaches. Seem, if you have three, you don't have one. That's what they say about hitting coaches. Well, there's more people on the staff than just that. Yeah. There's lots of people out there. Yep. We'll take a time out. That's a fact, by the way. We'll take a time out. We'll play some fact or fiction. Sterling's favorite team is playing today. There's a fact. Fiction. And it's the white socks. It's not. Whoa. More zone next. It's time for fact or fiction. All right, time for a little factor fiction. Sterling, is that right? Sports. All right, very good. We will see if it is a cult classic or not.
It's factor fiction. It's a game we play where Sterling asks us questions. Michael, Todd and I will then say whether that is fact or fiction. And it is based on what we think Sterling. No. It's just facts. It's based on whether it's a fact or a fiction. There's a map. It's a sign. No, there's a theorem. Okay. Yeah, there's more of a theorem. I think kind of a corollary. Let's go. Should we start with Todd? Fine. His Oklahoma team is struggling. So, let's start with Todd. I feel bad. I can't even have a good week in this week. I feel bad for Oklahoma. That's exactly right. Maybe who's looking around here all happy. No, who's walking around puffing their chest out around here. He didn't play. Yeah, Darcy's team like I didn't lose. Chiefs. Darcy's team got a win. Jalen Daniels is starting now. Iowa. I may not go well either. Well, he never know. Never know. Room four. No, absolutely. All right. Seems like good. Good. I. I go into this game. Quit asking. I zoo loses to Florida.
And I will be sad. Okay. You don't think this. But they are going to lose. So I'm going to say it's fiction. You're never picking against the Tigers. He never does many times. I'm going to say fact Florida is going to win. Okay, so. Wait, that's the opposite. No, he said, Mizzou loses and he said. Fact would be Mizzou loses Florida wins. And he said, yeah, you're right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, I was like, I don't know. Because you think Mizzou is going to win. Fast he thinks you're going to lose. And Jason's going to try to figure you out. So I think of, I think it's going to be fiction. But the reason it's going to be fiction is that. Hold on. Ask the question again. Mizzou loses to Florida and I will be sad. It's fiction because they will lose to Florida. But she'll be drunk and having fun at homecoming. So you won't be sad. No, he's going to be mad. No, neither. Neither he'll be drunk and be and hang it out with his boys.
And so it will help wash away any feelings of the Missouri lost to Florida. Wait, take that. They're an elephant walk with Jansen. You're going to the time of your life down there. What you guys do? You guys are back on campus yet? Brother, you can't say that on air. You just did. We've been talking about that with you. We've been talking about it for 20 years. Oh, dog. We don't do. Uh-uh. So anyway, is it back? Eight no bad for fiction sterling poop gate. Back. Farms house. Fiction. Fiction. Fiction. I will, I, Mizzou loses and I will be sad. Mizzou wins. That's right. Of course. Come on. Well, I had two outs there with, um, wait. No, no. Ain't no trunk time. I'm over here. You're on campus for something. We'll start with the year after I graduated. We'll start with Michael Darcy. These hands don't hate each other. We'll start with Michael Darcy here. We're all tied at one. We need a new house. Michael Darcy, one, one, zero. We're all tied. We'll start with Michael here.
Yep. Darcy. Chiefs will cover the four and a half versus the Raiders. That's a fact. Fact. Fact. Yeah, I get you all on the board. You get an easy one. Yep. That's an easy one. Come on. They're going to show up to Vegas playing like they did against the dolphins. It's a fact. Only one by two touch. That's exactly right. Astros will lose the series against the White Sox Jason. Phew. Your White Sox. So, gosh, I mean, I do have to build in the bias of your love of the White Sox and your hate of the Gamboa family. Gosh, I'm going to say that is, that's a fact. Astros are toast. So that means fact, White Sox win. Yep. White Sox win is a fact. Fact. Fiction. Oh, Astros will somehow win. Wow. You're going to get themself somehow. 500. The White Season. The White Sox story comes to an end. Well, I think you're in a way there. That sucks for you and all your fellow White Sox fans. I don't get this. Well, when did I become a White Sox guy? When you said you were, when you said you were rooting for the White Sox to be the Astros.
Yeah, I want them to beat the Astros. Make your White Sox fans. Make your fan. Make your fan. And in that matchup, make your fan. Match question. In that matchup, it's your White Sox. We start with Todd, two to two to one, we're all tight. Two to one. Philly's shock and win this series versus the Braves. I already have one. One nothing. I already got to crissail. And you love the Philly. So fact. Fact. Man, you know what? Who cares what, you know, people look back on. They don't know if these are right or wrong anyway. So I'll just go with what you are hoping for. It's fact. Fiction. Oh, it will not be a shock. Oh, it will be a shock. Listen to the words, boys. You're not going to get shot. Got all your asses. Right. They did score a run in the first inning, sir. Next. Darcy, you lead us off here. Lebo, I feel like every, I feel like every time Darcy leads off, you're going to hope Todd has to then drop a little,
drop a little nugget there. We start with Darcy here. Two to two to one. Drop a nugget. Two to two to one. Roll tide. We had Lebo's on today. They do that. All them to the no-tooth brush. Huh? That's right. That's Madula Ablongata. Red Sox win this series versus the Yankees. That's a fact. Well, it's your Yankees. So no, not my Yankees. I'm going to say that's a fact. Well, I'm going to try something different. So I'll say fiction. You're wrong. No, it's a fact. Yes. He hates the Yankees. He hates the Yankees. Well, no, no, Aaron Judge. Yeah, it won't matter. It, Peyton Toll is going to go out and... Sure. You said a name of someone who might be a pitcher for somebody. Yes. Pitcher for the Red Sox. The guy with the great mustache. Okay. That's right. You're going to want to see. And had the Immaculate innings. And had the Immaculate innings and smiled over the dugout before the last pitch because he was sort of like trying to keep it together. He's bad at this. Yep, I like him. Three, two, two, we're all tight. The Cubbies beat the Padres and move on.
I go first on this one. In fact, it's back. You love PCA. In fact, fiction. Oh, wow. Padres. Both your Chicago teams lose. Wow. I'm an honest man. Wow. That's a good one. You're... When have I ever lied to you, Libo? Your Cub socks aren't going to move past the wild card. That's too bad. Name will once when you said they're hazing at the farmhouse. You said these hands don't haze. They have a twice. Three to two to two, we're all tied. We'll go back around to Todd. Libo. Yeah. October is a top three month of the year. I think that's a fact. For sure. I'll say fact. I don't care what you think. Football. Yeah, I don't care what you think, Sterling. It's a fact. Fiction is four. It's four. It's close. It's not... It's not free month better than this. It's not quite there. Where are you like July? What's it? July. It's horrible. July is there. Yeah. I would probably say... Beer's pool and tarps off. Can't go to a beer. Can't go to pool and drink a beer. Have my tarps off in October.
June's probably there. What's my birthday? So that makes you... June, July. And either November or December. You get one of either Christmas or Thanksgiving. November probably... One day. No, if I'm in Florida half the month. No, good. But it's one day. Time to get... You have enough days. Next. You get all of football. You get baseball playoffs. You get this weather. That's why four NHLs are stupid. Dropping the puck. They dropped the puck. They're number four. It's month four. Learn ball. Well, that answer is a number two. Okay. Three to two to two were all tied. Because the Leafs start falling. You got to pick a month. We're not doing well. And this is his fault. We're not. Three to two to two were all tied. He's just so dumb on the list. No, I was so dumb. I really try to mess with y'all this week. Yeah. I really try to have some fun. Five questions left. Three to two to two. The Browns. Shockingly moved to three and one over the Steelers on Thursday. That's not happening in fiction. Where's that? Is that in Cleveland? It's in Believerland, I think. Oh, I must say a fact that's your Browns. What? Not my Browns fiction.
Let me see where it's at. It is you. Do you know? It doesn't matter. It's in Cleveland. It isn't Believerland. Uh, no, that's that's fiction. Yeah, we got. Got three now. Three to three to three were all there. Three to three to three. I'm really tied. Three to three to three. Michael's on top. We start with me here. Three to three to three. Good for Michael. Go ahead. Go ahead. Ah, Ahmad Hardy plays before Josh Simmons plays. That's a fact. Oh, it starts with me, but that's fine. I'll say fact. I'm not sure. Hardy's going to play this year. Are you sure that Simmons is going to play this year? I'm going to say you're going to say it's a fact because you desperately want Hardy to play. I desperately wanted to play, but it's fiction. Oh, wow. Okay. I know we got that. No one got that. Three to three to three were all tied. Three more. You guys have, you cannot read me. I'm like, hi, or glyphics today. Yeah, you're wrong a lot. Well, today, I honestly, I think if you give me choices of both play, neither play one plays, but I think I'd be the bigger odds of neither one will play this year.
I bet neither's probably the leading candidate. So, Mr. Dessa Polka, that should be like a Frank opinions. Frank. Go tell Curtis for that for tomorrow. Libo. Yes. FAU ends up with more sex this season than Ashen Jalotti. He has one already. You get credit for one when you close that fumble. Yes. That's a fact. I think that's already getting hurt. So. Yeah, fact. Yeah. Fact. Yeah. Fact. Yeah. Fact. Yeah. Yeah. Fact. Yeah. Fact. Yeah, huh? Fact. Yeah. You kidding me? Fact. Yeah. Four to four to four, all tied. This is pitiful. Two more to go. Two more to go. You guys are going to go bad. We have four of 10. Cream soda is superior. To what? To root beer. Michael, we start with you this time. You didn't know what these are. Sasparillas. It does a safe fact. Fiction. Fiction. Root beer's back. Fiction. Yeah. I love cream soda, but root beer is the elite soda of Sterling.
Yeah. Five to five before, all tied. Mugs up. Any independence? The one that's right there that drives hands. Oh, man, give me some zip burgers. Five to five before, all tied. I will lead this one off. This is to you. Oh, great. Thank you. Mississippi State shocks and beats Alabama. Where's that one at? Starkville. Is that in Cleveland? It's also in Starkville. Okay. Early though, right? Early game. I think it's like 11 bells. You know, I've heard that they're only going to have like 12,000 cow bells there this weekend instead of the 42,000 that they had on Saturday. They're like a club. So I think Alabama goes there and wins. I'm going to take, I'm going to take your Alabama Crimson Tides Sterling. Not mine. So. Mississippi State last year almost beat a lot of teams. And they failed. They're almost almost always at home. I'll give them a chance to get this shocker.
Because they're feeling high and mighty because they got one done. Alabama's slip walk through the first half of some games. So I'll say whatever it is. So it's the fact they shocked the world. Sure. Okay. Or maybe this isn't a shock. It's win. Is that the game? I'm going to say fact. I'm going to say fiction. Leibos correct. Mississippi State shocks and beats Alabama. I think Bama's been a little overrated this year. You're wrong. They score in elite fashion. But they've gotten themselves behind a couple of times and just not played well. And you look up, oh, they have 50 points. So it's going to be really hard for Mississippi State. But I think Mississippi State, they now have a lot of confidence. They're going to have to go out there and score a lot. I think the game is going to play though. Right. Camario can. I will say this because if Mississippi would have lost a Missouri, I think they would have crumbled and the rest of the season would have been pretty poor. I think I do think being a Missouri has them going. We beat a top because of the rankings. We beat a top 20 team. This was crazy. I want Mississippi State to win. It's better for Missouri. It's fun. News and play Alabama. So it looks better if Mississippi State goes on and wins a bunch more.
I think Alabama is sneaky real good here. Yeah, I just think that Camario Taylor is good. But Mississippi State struggled at times against Mizzou in the middle part of the game. They had a rough start against South Carolina before they turned it on. They can't go like 20, 25 minutes of football without scoring against Alabama. Because Bama is going to have you have you have you brought into account the cowbells? Yeah, I did last. Yeah, there was there's not going to be 42,000 this time. They're not going to break the Guinness World Book of World Records. 11 A.M. is a little different field. Yeah, I'm rooting for him. I like Jeff Levy. I like the quarterback. You know, I mean, this is this is what NIL and all this is supposed to be about. These teams coming up and beating people. Absolutely hilarious that almost every other team ever will not allow cowbells in a stadium. And then Mississippi State's like bring them all in. Yeah, well, it's got to be a lot of it. It's a great part. It has the paddles and it's a lot of things too. They use to have tortillas down at Texas Tech. You don't throw them on the field. You just can't throw more than one. You can throw a tortilla. You can throw a tortilla. That's a good point. I got a text from a Bama alum goes tied by 17.
Yeah, say it coward. Say it. Yeah, I don't agree. I can see that happen. I mean, if someone's going to win the game big, it's Alabama. Page page. I'm yes, if a team wins big, it's Bama, but I'm now believing in Mississippi State. They made this is Levy's third year there. They were no good. They made a jump last year. And then I mean, like they had Tennessee beat. I think they had Texas beat. And they just couldn't finish the game. They were to Minnesota and they dominated Minnesota. It's like a Minnesota sex. Well they Minnesota went to Washington in one over a weekend. So I don't know, maybe Washington sucks in his train. It's very good. They got some good score position players on that team. I mean, that running back was good. Yeah. Full of couple of... You got Speedy from Mazeau. They got that dude that caught that ball that Dovan caught the ball can. Oh, Francisco or San Frisco. San Frisco. San Frisco McGee. Just San Frisco. San Frisco. San Frisco. Did they forget the end when they were doing the purge San Frisco? No, they just wanted to be San Frisco. I wonder if he's from San Francisco. No, he's from San Frisco. Hot bed of college football that go to Mississippi State. He's from San Frisco. A dude is from like not jazz Mississippi years ago.
McComb, Mississippi. There he goes. Yeah. I was a percent man. Yeah, that a boy. Back yeah, dude. No, I mean, I want Mississippi State to win. I just think Alabama. I think Alabama this year has a little bit of reputational last couple of years. Alabama where it's been like, oh boy, they get pumped up and then they're not that good. They've struggled at times, but man, they can freak out. Easy score man. They just move it down the field. Yeah, so I think Mississippi State is going to have. It's going to be a shoot. They were in a dog fight with Kentucky, right? They need a 50 points or whatever. And then that was a dog fight. It was back and forth. Kentucky led for 40 minutes of that game and lost by four touchdowns. Yeah. And then it's not trying to score a bunch. Mississippi State is going to score though. And then Kentucky by the way, BDAM. So after getting boat raced by Alabama, they went on the road and BDAM. And then maybe free fall. Yeah, although that's true. And they're going to be some ugly records in the SEC this year. Yeah, shoot up with it. Yep. And again, this might be one of those weekends where Florida, you know, runs away from Mizzou. And it's like, OK, Johnson Rowland, Florida, they're for real.
Yeah, they are. They're for real. Or they come into Columbia and they lose. And it's like, OK, well, Mizzou had that game at Mississippi State. And they're going to rue not take an advantage of winning that game. That's going to be one where it's like they should have won that game. And they've never seen when that far out. I have any of the life. That's amazing. Basis lower second and third. There was a ran to the dugout right back to the pitcher. And he the guy third started heading home. So he ran at him like he was supposed to. And then they got into a pickle. He throws it to third base. And I don't know who the brave was on third base. But he starts running home. The guys chasing him down. And he just feels right almost 90 degree angle and just runs to the duck. He wasn't tagged, by the way. He didn't get tagged. He's hitting the ball at the end of the bat like that is very difficult. Yeah, it's not easy to hit the knob. It was fair ball. It should have been a look. There's going to be a hit batter and just hit off of the handle. Said you lose your guy. Yep. Speaking of holding the knob. Sterling, what's the, right? Right. The cyber anchor here for
the week. Guy. Touse. Bounce. No, rank. Dika. These. Orches. Yes. We're on the arch. We did it. McDonald's. Manning. St. Louis. Arches National Park in Utah. You had to look that one up. Archer the show. How many more? Five five five five. No, we're going to be like 10. No five five is plenty. All right. Plenty of arches archery as a sport. I'm sure going that route. All right, we will. We'll take a time out and we will rank Arches. For some reason next. You're in the zone on sports radio. 810 WHB. Tomorrow I'll be up in the Northland. Barry Woods crossing Rally House. I'll be there tomorrow. Where the game day headquarters.
Getting you ready for whatever team you were going to be rooting for. Tigers, J. Hux, cats. My wife went to Rally House this last week. Sporting current. Yeah. A little little baby Tigers hat for a friend of ours. Can I have a little baby? Sounds like good people. Sounds like good people. Great people. I don't know anything about them, but by that hat. One of the people. Sound like great people. Wonderful. I know what I'll be doing. I'll be getting some Northwest Missouri State Year. They got it. They got a pretty good selection up there. They got a pretty good selection up there. The Barry Woods crossing Rally House specifically has a pretty good selection of the Northwest Missouri State Year. Pretty good. Pretty good. I will be up there. And we'll be giving away some gift cards during the remote. We'll stop in, say hi, register and we'll do that drawing when the show is over. Or right before the show is over. Again, it's tomorrow at Barry Woods crossing Rally House. I'll be there hanging out and enjoying all of the apparel that's there at Rally House. Probably, you know what I need to get my, I need to get the dog a chief's shirt. He's got a Royals one. Yeah.
Nothing that dogs like more than wearing people's clothes. They love them. Yeah. Well, I'm training him to walk like a person. It's about time he gets in the real world. I'm going to put like a shirt and tie on him and everything different than the elephant walk. Frank. Man, he is just dog walking you this entire segment. Man, good night, dude. I'll be there tomorrow. Why on your mind so much? What is your hand been doing this whole hour? All right. We are tied. We are tied. We are tied six to five to four. Fifth. All tied. Six to five to four. Arch. One to three four. Fifth. One to three four. I would say Lewis. It's St. Louis. Yeah, you got to say that. No, you're the game. You got the farmhouse. The farmhouse walks are a split between East and West side of the desert. I did St. Louis arch. I did archmaning fourth. Archmaning fourth. Archmaning fourth. Archmaning fourth. All right. It all comes down to this. I did archer TV show third. Archer TV show third. I did National Park third. McDonald's third. What?
McDonald's third. I do like McGriddles a lot. But yeah. I had McDonald's two. I had McDonald's number one. So I'm out. McDonald's two. Archer the show number two. I know. Archer the national park number one. So I had to work. I had Arches National Park two behind McDonald's, which is no. I love archer the show. Archers National Park. I went there once. You were making fun of me. You like you had to look that up. And I was like little to this little bleep. No. And the words Nick Cereyani. Sorry Richard Cereyani. I've been there. I hyped it. If I got number one and none of the others right do I win? Lebo wins. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, stop, stop. I'm checking again. I got five and four. For being a bleep. Michael Darcy's the winner. Oh, did you hear what Michael was saying in the break about you? Curtis Seabull. No. Boy Curtis has been cl... Why would he let you win this game? Clowning you. No, he can win. It's just I just happened to be losing all of these. You have to happen. It happens. I'm going to go to Archers National Park. I went probably three years ago.
Did you think it was a very different park? No, it would have been... When was COVID? Oh, wow. Six years ago. Yeah, you already forgot when COVID... When was COVID? Was that like 2015? Was it like... Was that in the 90s? I think it was 29 years. It was 29 years. It was 29 years ago. It was 29 years ago. Yeah. So you went during COVID? Yeah. I had COVID. I went to the top of... So you went there with COVID? Well, not a bad idea by the way. Super spreader, someone with that. No, no. If you're going to get out and about and you got COVID, like go to a national park. No one around you. Yeah, well, I like... Are you socially spacing? No, I wasn't like contagious anymore. But I still had it. Sure. I went to the top of Pike's Peak at... Let me tell you. That's Colorado. But I went to the bottom. On the way. Okay. Let me tell you this much. Go to the top of Pike's Peak when you had COVID. Really hard to breathe. Shocking right there. You're up there. You're... I just say it's probably hard to breathe anyway. But now with COVID, I guess that makes sense. Did you take the train up there? You drive up. We drove up and then took the bus. The boat up there? The boat up there? Yeah, train on the water, boat on the tracks. Yeah. No chance, my wife was going to drive up there with those little switch.
No, it's terrifying. Yeah, it's terrifying. I'll tell you what. It was fun, though. Did that then went on our way to Colorado. Colorado. Four corners. And then we drove to Arches National Park and hiked. I kind of forgot water. Thank you, my cousin. Lincoln, shout out you because... You forgot water. I would've died. Yeah, it was miles and miles. And it was very hot. There's nothing around you. Yeah. I was like, I'm just going to get my hands stuck in this thing and he's there and he cut his hand off. I'm the 27 hours. I didn't bring any food or water. I was like, I'll be fine. Give your flip flops on. I think I'd choose. I tennis shoes, like basketball shoes. I know a lot of it is open space, but were there any tight sort of spaces that you were walking through in this? Yeah, you're hiking and you're going pretty high. You're climbing bleep. And it was fun. Yeah, it's beautiful. I definitely ought to go there. So Jason, for your doubting ability, you get last. We'll start the round. You won't be able to do it. I'm sorry. Don't, don't. I was screwed. Man, that was the second of it. You got a second. I was probably getting first. I don't know how good I've been to you today. How good.
I'll tell you in this show's over. Oh. What's leave what you're doing for me? Yeah, you're going to change that ruling to leave what you're doing. Maybe leave what might win. He's going to ask you to do extra work. What's going to happen. You're going to do what she's pregame for me. I'm going to say something mean to you, but not to laugh at the show's over. Oh, yes. That's what typically everybody does anyway, right when the show's over. shows over then then the insults come out. I was gonna ask can you imagine can you do this extra thing for me now? Can you imagine if you're out there listening when the show gets over then the insults come out towards the like smirking right now. Barry Woods crossing tomorrow rallyhouse. I'll be there come say hi, win some gift cards. That's tomorrow. Thank you. Those arches. McDonald's.
