There's some really interesting details regarding the spiritual, the supernatural and the metaphysical and how entities of these types are able to essentially construct a body. They're able to mimic us, create a doppelganger of us and walk around in a body that for the most part looks exactly like us as if there were multiple of us and convince us to essentially unalive ourselves until the thing that has taken over and doppelgangered us is essentially the only version of us. Not only us, but how these things can also do this same action go through this same process

5:12to become websites, to become commercials like demons themselves becoming actual ads is kind of a crazy concept demons becoming propaganda not necessarily entities themselves, but actual propaganda actual ads. That's wild. The deeper down this rabbit hole, I went the less and less like myself. I began to feel so fair warning. I don't even know if it's the real me that made this video or if it is the alternate at this point and I'm lying in a ditch somewhere because like I said, the things that I've been experiencing lately on the internet can only be described as brain rottingly, unbelievably unreal. I believe that we should be spending as much time out in the real world without any any access to the internet or cell signal at all. I think we should be completely separated from this for the most part. It can like anything be it's like a tool. It's like a hammer. You can either build a house with it or you can smash your own skull in with it, right? But a lot of people are so deeply entrenched in the realm of the the web. They're so caught in the web that they forget what life actually is. And in a way these demons, these entities, these alternates, they cannibalize our identities. And it's a lot scarier than it sounds. It's a lot scarier than the way I just said it because we are being copied in real time.

7:20They're making doppelgangers of us already. There are companies that are out there seeking your identity, seeking your personal information, seeking your data, your biology, everything about you so that when you're gone, you can still in some way be here except it's not entirely you. The Mandela catalog takes place within the fictional Mandela County, which is coincidentally located in Wisconsin, which is also where Alex Kister is from. And it's terrorized by these shape-shifting creatures called alternates. Alternates led by a false depiction of the archangel Gabriel are nearly immortal beings that aim to essentially eradicate humanity by psychologically torturing them to the point of unaliving themselves with the ultimate goal of assuming their identities as doppelgangers. Obviously I do have some differences spiritually when it comes to what I believe in certain

But interestingly enough, it is unclear whether or not the archangel Gabriel has also been copied by an alternate or whether he has fallen from grace somehow. Let's keep our eyes on the prize here, which is the underlying concept. The alternates can manipulate audio-visual media as well, such as televisions, personal computers and vehicle GPS systems, which only enhances their ability to manipulate you, propagandize you, and ultimately get rid of you. Basically there's already a number of creepy concerns, a few of which are if alternates can copy something that is inherently good, such as an archangel, how do we know if we're talking to the inherently good one or the copy? And if they can also create or become things like TVs and cameras and GPS systems, how

9:35do we know if we're ever following the right path or if we're ever seeing what we're actually supposed to be seeing or if we're seeing something that's been manipulated by a literal spiritual entity? This raises the stakes a little bit. Like as humans become less and less aware of their surroundings and less and less able to discern, and more and more incapable of feeling the vibes of the uncanny valley, we become more and more vulnerable to the manipulations of these creatures, of these spiritual entities, and they're no longer just manipulating matter if we think about it from this perspective. They're also able to manipulate spiritual, spiritual, whatever you would call it. I guess spiritual material, spiritual, they're able to manipulate the spiritual realm. So as to copy what you would think is your God, what you would think is your guardian angel

I guess this enters us into the realm of the necessity to know how to discern, like how important it is to be able to discern good from evil because they can never get it 100% right. There's always something off. And this is a theme that is recurring, especially when we come into the concepts of like the uncanny valley and how humans are finally tuned to be able to discover, to notice, to discern these slight differences from what is real, what is the actual and what is the alternate. And this is something that I feel like in a lot of people today is becoming muted. It's a sense that is being devolved out of us. It is being taken away from us. And I think that's an intentional process. I think that is one of AI's mission is to deceive us and to separate us from our ability

11:47to really understand what is real and what isn't quite real, but is actually a copy of what once was real. I was watching a fascinating video by a young person the other day. And she was talk, she's a film critic or more of like a studia of film. And she was going through this description of how horror has changed, how the horror genre has changed and how young people these days, they're no longer afraid of like monsters. They're not afraid of witches or robots or things that back in the 80s and 90s, early 2000s, people were afraid of. The typical jump scares aren't working. What people are afraid of now is being stuck in place or being somehow not exactly in control of their own bodies. And that's why you have movies like the back rooms where you are stuck in this sort of

12:50never ending maze or shows like one of my personal favorites right now, like from where you are basically trapped in a town that never changes and you can get here kind of accidentally and without even realizing it because all roads eventually lead you to this town where you are preyed upon by these bizarre otherworldly creatures. Essentially, these shows and films and stories that revolve around a sort of never ending loop that the protagonists are caught in and all the while the antagonists are trying to consume them in some kind of way or overtake them in some way, causing them to gradually lose their sanity until they are barely recognizable. And honestly, I think there's a very, very sinister reason why films and shows like this are such a success and that's why films like Obsession are just blowing the box office

13:50records out of the water. This is a relatively new horror style that people resonate with in this modern age because the horror is about people who are stuck and who are being slowly eaten and who are being slowly sort of abducted by this other realm in which they have no control whatsoever. And out all the while they're losing their mind. People in 2026 are literally finding themselves relating to characters in these movies who are stuck in a place that they can't escape and they're not really supposed to be there and they're not even entirely sure if they are themselves while they are stuck in that place. Essentially, in the modern times, the most prominent form of horror arrives in the idea that you are a spiritual captive. You are stuck somewhere and your body is not the only thing being infiltrated.

14:54Your entire environment is somehow a prison that you can't escape and that prison is also slowly eating you and there's no way out. That is what young people are finding horrifying and coming to the realization is something to be horrified of according to all of the entertainment statistics that are being presented. Metaphysical awareness disorder, otherwise known as MAD, is a psychological mental illness that's brought upon by these alternates from the Mandela catalog and that it gives humans these alternates, they give the humans the information that is not desired to be known by them. And after being given this information, the main symptoms of metaphysical awareness disorder manifest and these consist of loss of sanity, insomnia, the overwhelming urge to unalive themselves, paranoia.

It's like they want to be us, but they also need enough of us to still be here to validate them being us, if that makes any sense. It's not enough that they just kill us all off and then have their own planet or whatever.

21:10They want to infiltrate us. They want to play as us on this stage where there are still some of us actually here, but the rest of quote unquote us are actually them. I don't know if this is making sense. It's kind of hard to put the words, but in my mind, it's one of the most diabolical, horrifying and most likely to be real scenarios. But one of the main focuses of the Mandela catalog is the Uncanny Valley. This is basically where a great deal of the uneasiness comes from, as if the metaphysical beings themselves aren't essentially horrifying enough. There's this theory that Uncanny Valley exists because there were semi-human things and entities, monsters that long ago we were sort of ingrained to be afraid of on a biological level. More precisely, we evolved to fear things that looked almost human, but were not quite

22:12human. Psychologically, it is part of us to be able to identify when something looks like a human, but it is not a human. The Uncanny Valley phenomenon is a concept that was originally proposed by a Japanese roboticist, Masahiro Morti, in the 1970s. He wrote an essay, Bukimi Notani, of the Uncanny Valley. He proposed in regards to robotics specifically that the more human in appearance a robot becomes, people are inclined to be more and more empathetic towards it. At a certain point, when the appearance reaches nearly human likeness, the empathy drops suddenly into a sort of revulsion and uneasiness. The sudden drop is the Uncanny Valley. Up to a certain point, we think it's all cute and funny and adorable when something

23:16tries to look like a human, but when it gets too close, we start to get afraid. Something in the human race's collective psychology sets off the alarm bells and warns us that this is not something to be trifled with. This is something to be concerned about, something to be afraid of. That is the Uncanny Valley. Now personally, my longtime listeners will know that among dragons and vampires and fallen angels, I think a great deal of these things that we were evolved to be afraid of are kind of a nethalum and demonically possessed corpses, essentially, kind of that kind of creature, maybe even hybrid creatures that are either extinct now or they still exist, but we've evolved to not be afraid of them or devolved, I should say, because we've just grown used to them. Because it's the way of humanity, we grow very complacent with things that we see every day, even if those things are literally killing us or these things have just become unrecognizable

24:21to us because they shape shift. They are things that are one thing, one second and another thing, another second and we just can't keep track. But since we're only afraid for a very brief moment, we become very briefly unafraid as well, which creates this afraid on a freight off, afraid on a freight off cycle, which desensitizes us to being afraid of things that are human like, but not human. And this gives rise to a whole realm of conspiracy theories, including the most famous, which is the NPC theory and how perhaps there are great many humans that walk among us that are not actually humans. They are sort of hybrids or alternates in human bodies. They are copies. They're, you know, the whole bloodline conversation, all that kind of stuff. People who aren't really people, but are more like entities that shouldn't be here pretending to be people.

25:22And that only gets worse when you introduce the dead internet theory, which basically states that now about 60% if not more of the internet isn't even real and the content that's going up on the web is made entirely through artificial entities, not even human beings anymore, which pretty much means you're living in a simulation. We are in a flesh prison that is run by demonic hosts using digital bodies. And that's precisely the hypothesis that the Mandela catalog taps into saying that the alternates are a historic instance of those types of creatures, much like I believe. And it's also seeming to imply that we evolved to fear them on instincts because if we did not fear these things on instinct, we would be literally eaten alive. We would be consumed. And there's stories of how, you know, like look at the skin walker has this insatiable hunger. It's a full and more the same exact way they either need to consume you or need to

26:26somehow convince you that you don't even want to exist yourself so they can replace you. Our brains are wired to seek patterns and to recognize faces. So when something familiar becomes distorted or corrupted, it throws our entire recognition system off. And this is the heart of the uncanny valley theory. It does not just happen in movies. It happens in real life, which is why we make movies about it. Things that are almost human, but not quite. They trigger a primal fear in us and they always have apparently analog horror itself is a genre that exploits this heavily by twisting the familiar into something that's very unsettling. And I believe personally that our ability to recognize what is not human is getting worse and worse on a species wide level. And I think like I already said, that is intentionally done. They are stealing that ability from us. We are growing more and more accustomed to accepting what is not human because it is the

27:34politically correct thing to do. Yes, but also along with this acceptance of all comes the inability to scrutinize and the well, obviously the acceptance of imposter's who may not look exactly like us. And moderns will try to attribute the uncanny valley to how we respond to AI or robots, but rarely to actual living entities engaging with us. And this is in essence the NPC mindset that essentially the uncanny valley exists only in the backrooms or in some space reserved for entertainment. But that doesn't explain the whole, you know, evolutionary aspect of the phenomenon on a species wide level does it. In the Mandela catalog, the alternates engage in this sort of psychological warfare.

28:34And during their transformation into you, there are some that end up looking perfectly identical to humans, while others have features that are wrong. Their eyes are too sunken in or too big. Their fingers are too long. Their mouths are too wide. Some alternates speak directly to humans and they are often involved in actually crafting the very warnings that have been made regarding them to warn them about the alternates. In other words, imagine a monster that mimics humans creating the manual for humans about how to avoid being mimicked by a monster. The last step in the manual is if you can't kill the doppelganger, kill yourself because there's not enough room for the both of you. In this case, obviously the monster wins and the prevention failed and you get to continue

29:36on or at least something that looks like you gets to. But the real you unalived yourself a few minutes ago because that's what the manual told you to do. The manual that you didn't know was written by the very thing that it was warning you about. Now, I've never come across something from entertainment that hit so close to what I fundamentally believe is the case in our actual civilizational position right now. And at the same time, on such an intimate level, so closely intertwined with each of our lives, it's always a real treat for me when I discover that there are other people who can word things better than I can and not only word them better, but create actual entertainment out of those things in a way that hits home so profoundly and memorably. This is one of the reasons that entertainment of this type is so important is because it

30:38can awaken things inside you that make you see the world different or make you see the world potentially for what it really is. There's another horrifying little bit of video carnage known as possibly in Michigan, which you should totally not go check out as you will encounter the bizarrest of conversation in musical fashions, such as what it's like to have a family member who microwaves and eats their poodle. Now this is a 1983 American shot on video musical horror short film written and directed by Cecilia Condit. Now it's hard to know which is the truer statement that horror woke up one day and decided to create Cecilia or that Cecilia woke up one day and decided to create horror. She once lived with her activist by day, murderer by night boyfriend without even knowing that his victim, the ex-girlfriend from before Cecilia, was half mummified, half liquefied

31:43and rotting in the apartment that they shared. She had killed this woman and never disposed of her body and it wasn't until neighbors began reporting fluids leaking through the ceiling and smells coming from the apartment that he was arrested for the crime. Cecilia apparently was able to argue the case that she had no idea her boyfriend's dead ex was decomposing in there because she was taking drugs that made her unable to smell her. But anyway, the film possibly in Michigan follows two women looking for perfumes in a department store and being stalked all the while by a masked cannibalistic murderer.

32:43They're followed by this cannibalistic murderer who is basically just a dental mannequin named Arthur but he's sort of juxtaposed and moves about the set in one of the most horrifying displays of the uncanny valley that I've ever seen. There's thin layers of skin that are tightly wrapped around where his teeth should be. He often appears to have no eyes or eyes that are on the verge of sinking into his face and an unmoving, aghast expression with his mouth sort of curled into an O. Just as if he's trying to scream at the horror that he himself is or more likely than not that he's attempting to imitate what a human is and failing.

33:48Near the end Arthur manages to follow Sharon home. Janice goes to her own house. He breaks into Sharon's home and pushes her onto the bed. Arthur dies right there in Sharon's bedroom and Sharon gets up and looks down at him completely disgusted. And then the movie deliberately flips the predator prey relationship on its head. Sharon and Janice scoop up his body. They spread newspapers beneath him. They dismember him and they cook parts of him into a stew and they eat him. They even feed pieces of him to the dog. The final sequence gets even stranger. Sharon and Janice sit around afterwards smoking cigarettes in a state of complete calmness. Janice sees another masked man outside the window but he disappears before Sharon sees him. Grab Arthur's remaining bones and scraps into newspapers and they put everything into garbage

37:58bags. They weave the garbage bags at the curb and a garbage truck takes them away. Let's break it all down here. Clearly a cannibalistic and inhuman alternate imitating a human and calling itself Arthur follows two women throughout a store intending to eat them then ends up following them home where he attempts to again eat them only to then be eaten by them. I know this is relevant somehow or maybe it's just that since I had to experience it you do too but either way it begs the question. Where did the cannibalism come from? That may seem like a irrelevant question to most people but really why was Arthur a cannibal? Where did he come from? How was the cannibalism transferred from Arthur to the women? Is the evil in infection? What is the medium of transfer exactly?

39:01Will Janice and Sharon now continue in the same footsteps as Arthur? Will they also slowly begin their descent into the uncanny valley eventually to become shells of themselves pursuing the taste of humanhood? There's a little known theory that demons cannot infect children until children are given the imagination of the demon itself or something that the demon could be. Only then can they get into the children's minds and begin to essentially take hold of them. Also there's a well documented affliction that I've spoken on at length known as Wendigo Psychosis which is essentially this state of psychosis that a human being goes through that forces them into very bizarre and violent acts of cannibalism. There does seem to be some sort of way in the end that things actually infect and change

40:02people that we don't really know much about. And maybe this is a spiritual thing. Maybe this is something that if you are spiritually vulnerable can get inside you. I'm not exactly sure. But one of the things that creeps me out more than anything is when something is talking to me and I can tell this thing it's not human but it's trying to be human or it's making human-like sounds. Whether it's in my dreams or maybe I think it's happening in real life, maybe it's actually happening in real life, whatever the case is. Whether this is a human being that is just so off in a way that I can't quite place it or some kind of behavior exhibited in animals or cryptids. It's so very much bequeaths upon me the feeling that I am experiencing some skin walker shit. Maybe words stutter in a strange way or the fluctuations and pitches are repeated in some odd fashion or vocalized in a way that feels wrong.

41:03Has anybody else experienced this before? Am I actually just going crazy? It feels kind of like a stolen voice or maybe even a stolen body being piloted by something too horrifying to approach. I'm sure we've all seen that shore on YouTube where the hunter hears this screaming in the forest. Something is screaming. Help me. And it sounds like a man. And then he spots it through his scope. And it is what appears to be a naked man out in the middle of the field. But it turns abruptly and it becomes clear that this is no ordinary man. People who live near mountains and volcanoes seem to experience more of this type of behavior than other people. I've noticed it's kind of a curious little detail. There's many stories from Appalachia in the USA about doppelgangers or impersonators. Obviously, this type of behavior is not reserved for mountainous regions.

42:05There's also a lot of stories about this type of thing happening in, you know, urban areas and in the deep woods and place pretty much everywhere. You find these stories of doppelgangers, mimics and alternates. One of the more peculiar details that I couldn't help but notice is that these types of entities seem strangely interested, exceptionally interested, you might say, in women. And this is a recurring detail that you see in the myths, in the legends, in the lore of these types of entities, in the biblical stories, in the book of Enoch. And you even see it in modern entertainment and hear about it in modern stories like in the modern entertainment industry, it's often this sort of doppelganger that is pursuing a woman, right? This look alike who's not really my boyfriend, that's not my husband, and it's pursuing a woman. We saw that in possibly in Michigan, which I just talked about. We also find that detail in the Mandela catalog, which I started this episode off talking

43:09about. And we see it in a ton of stories that are posted online. And I know I have to say it. So here's your obligatory warning. I treat all stories that people put online, unless it's like obviously a no sleep or a creepy pasta or something like that. If it's something that somebody just randomly posts and it's not really in a forum that is meant for a ton of exposure or something like that, I just like to assume that people are telling their stories. I've experienced a lot of weird stuff in my life and I would like to be treated the same way because I mean, honestly, just think about it. In the end, all humans are our stories. That's why the story of our existence is called history. Like there's, we're proving and disproving things all the time, whether it's, you know, these really expensive scientific facts or, you know, that guy who was recently peer pressured

44:10into cutting his alleged big foot head specimens in half and to kind of totally outed himself as a fraud. But generally, I like to think that most people who just want to talk about something bizarre that they experienced aren't out here being blatant liars or aren't out here looking to get an A24 film made off of their experience that they posted in some obscure, like sub forum. I think they're just probably, they experienced something in their life and they want to get it off their chest. So there you go. To me, the very fact that there are so many stories about doppelgangers and impersonators and alternates, even things like fairies using these abilities and stuff like that is enough itself important to me. So I messaged him back and said, we weren't you just in the shower? And he said, no, I'm at the pool with our roommate. What's going on? I asked if he was messing with me and he swore that he had no idea what I was talking

46:20about. He claims he never said he was going to take a shower. My husband does occasionally like to mess around with me, but he doesn't play it out for longer than a few seconds usually. I told him I watched him walk toward our room, which also so happens to be the way to get to our garage. And he said he left out the garage door, but I never heard our security systems say that a door had been opened. And trust me, that thing does not misbeat. He made a joke about me blipping into a different dimension and I joked back that I got stuck halfway through. I'm really confused and wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. This is just one story, but stories of doppelgangers abound, which makes sense when understanding that we live in the company of an imposter race. I've spoken about this at length ad nauseam. There is a sort of species among us. It is like us, but not quite us.

It didn't seem strange except my brother didn't complain like he usually would. A minute later my mom called and asked what we wanted for dinner.

I froze and said, then who just kissed my brother on the cheek? My brother, Clouis, just gave me a dumbfounded look. When I asked why, he explained that he'd seen her too. He was on his computer outside the kitchen when he saw, again, our not mom doing dishes. He asked her what was for dinner, but she ignored him. She turned off the sink and she walked into her room without saying anything. I was curious, he followed her, but when he opened the door, the room was empty.

49:26And then it hit him. Our mom was at the store. Same situation as last time. He was terrified. After that the doppelganger never appeared again. The philosopher was talking about the historical aspect of the concept, how this impacts the way humans view the world and what the ancient creatures from the scrolls actually might

56:39have been, whether demons or something else. The cryptid conspirator obviously spoke on the classic skin walkers, the gin, the chimera, the doppelganger. And not all the while as this realization was dawning on me, I couldn't help but think if we're all here pondering on, thinking on and creating the same thing at the same time.
