Sam Stein and Will Sommer break down the leaked script for the Daily Wire’s upcoming fictional movie Pawn Shop, a pro-ICE thriller set amid an imagined Antifa siege of a Minneapolis pawn shop. They discuss the film’s fictionalized version of the Renee Good shooting, its portrayal of ICE agents, Antifa and MS-13, the “rooftop Korean” storyline, and the movie’s many conservative-media tropes. Will also explains how the production has caused protests in Livingston, Montana, where the movie is being filmed.

Hey everyone, it's me Sam Stuy, managing editor at the Bork and I'm joined by Will's summer author of the false flag newsletter and please do not exit this video. This is not deja vu. It may feel like it. We are here to talk about another daily wire movie. Will. I feel like we did this last week, but we're here again. It's a new movie. It's Pro Isis time, not anti-Islam. It's basically the same gist. Why don't you tell us what the movie is about and how you got your little greedy paws on

the script if you can tell us? Yes, so a few weeks ago we were here to talk about run-hide fight infidel's Ben Shapiro's latest flick starring Jonathan Majors. But now we've got the script of a daily wire movie that is currently in production in Livingston, Montana. This one is tentatively called pawn shop. And so we're kind of this timeline. We're on soon. I'll be finding out about these things as soon as they have the idea, maybe when it's going through cast. Who knows? So basically, yeah, this has caused a bit of a tumult in Livingston, Montana. There were some protests. People were honking their horns. Someone got their hands on a script and sent it to me. And so today we're here to review it. See if we want to book our tickets, stuff like that. Do you want to book your tickets? You know, I don't think so. I think I'm going to make you do it anyway. So it doesn't matter. Well, of course, I'll keep my daily wire plus subscription. But I think of anything, and it's obviously different as script versus a movie. But this makes Run Hyde Fight Infidels look like Citizen Kane.

Okay. This one may be worse. I mean, this is for what it's worth. This is the same kind of production team and producer that did Run Hyde Fight Infidels and previously did movies like Dragdacross Concrete, which is very good. I don't know if you've seen it. But that was before Ben Shapiro started getting in the collaboration. All right. We're going to get into why the daily wire does this stuff and how much it costs them. But let's talk about the movie itself. I'm going to read from the piece that you have up on our site. The film centers on an antifaseige of a Minneapolis pawn shop amid anti-ice unrest. Not so subtle. You'll notice the theme here is there's no subtlety whatsoever. On one side, an ICE agent joined by a group of pawn shop employees and customers on the other, a rabble of progressive protesters and eventually a bloodthirsty MS-13 death squad. Both intent on rescuing a Hispanic man detained by ICE. Films first minutes the label likely get the most attention. As pawn shop opens, two ICE agents in Minneapolis arrest the Latino man, later revealed to be an MS-13 boss, dimwitted liberal activist film The Scuffle,

with agents as they try to take their suspect away. And here's where it gets ridiculous. Then the films Renee Goodstandin enters. Renee Good for those who don't remember was the one who was fatally shot in Minneapolis, who's tragic. Just so happens that her family has filed a suit today against ICE, naming Cristino and Steven Miller in it, but that was just weird timing. And this Renee Goodstandin enters slamming her Subaru into the ICE fan, described with a subtly of a brick as quote, Melanie 40, a fat blue hair woman. She's blasting NPR, so we have the Subaru and the NPR. She's in the car with another unattractive woman as she's described. Is the other woman also masked? Yes. Okay, of course. So they're masked, they're listening to NPR, and they're driving a Subaru, nothing wrong with Subaru. Revs up again and fatally hits ICE agent Juan with her car, then his ICE partner Mike shoots her in a justifiable killing. All right, let's stop there and just unpack this. How many tropes can we count here, Will? Yeah, so I mean, I, you know, we've got some, I believe,

but blue hair, she's described as having, you know, colored hair, perhaps, you know, the mask, certainly the NPR in the script is one of our editors pointed out. It says she's driving a Subaru normally a non-threatening car, you know, unless it's being used to plow into ICE agents. All right, this is reading directly from the script. Melanie reacts to the drawn gun with panic. She mashes on the gas as she throws the car in reverse, accidentally slamming Juan out of the way. He goes flying into the gutter, he's bleeding. As the car versus Mike fires twice through the windshield, the first shot hits Melanie in the neck below her COVID mask, second in the head above her COVID mask, blood spotters on her passengers, who's also 40 female and overweight, pastures hits her forehead, the blood hits her forehead, and her matching COVID mask. Pretty gruesome stuff. Yeah, I mean, you know, it's, it's pretty twisted and obviously it's being, you know, cast here as, you know, what if the Renee Good shooting was justified? And what if we change several details to make it justified? Yeah. Yeah. So that's the problem is that they're just changing important details, right?

They're saying what if Renee Good had already slammed into an ICE vehicle? Yeah. Or in this case, in the script's case, literally hit an ICE agent with a car which never happened. Yep, exactly. And, you know, there's certainly, you know, from the segment you read there, there's certainly, you know, taking some glee here, there's all these kind of details about this, you know, classic, liberal, you know, getting shot up. It goes on. The ICE agent drags his suspect into the pawn shop with an antifa mob hot on their heels. The stage is now set for a siege during which numerous mall tough cocktails will be thrown and shotgun shells will fly inside the pawn shop. We meet a grizzled, Hispanic owner and his son. This is where they're just laying down a little teeth. I think the sun is newly back from college and majoring in Chicano studies. Much to his father, Shagrin, the sun is dressed in a chagwavar shirt and quote, listening to a pop song, unfitting for a man. Yeah. He's, he's introduced. He's biking through town and he's the script says he's listening to a pop song, unfitting for a man. And one of his friends is like, bro, you got to come down to the ICE facility. You know, we're going wild.

And he's like, oh, my dad's going to make me work at the pawn shop and then one of the pawn shop guys. He's, he's just switched from premed to Chicano studies. And they, they say, they go, oh, premed. And now he's pre-unemployed. There's other indications that the daily wire production and overweight liberal and a mobility scooter quote, bellows as only one with morbid obesity can. What is that? Oh. Oh. Yes. And I think they really expect this character to stand out because they, they, they say, I think in the script, they describe her as like a fan favorite or something that this is going to be, this is like Michael Noles and that wall is going to be cutting. The, the, the promos about this character. Oh, this is so epic. The morbidly obese person on the, and the scooter is actually like a hero or like a, no, a very minor character, just sort of a, I think it's kind of like in a zombie apocalypse movie, you have like one giant zombie. Okay. This is when it dips into like real sort of racial animus lore here because they have a

Korean grocery store joining the pawn shop introduces the idea, beloved by very online conservative, conservatives of a rooftop Korean that will figure prominent in the film. So I, I sort of guess what a rooftop Korean was, but it's sort of Harkins back to the Ronnie King era where like they would go to the roof with like guns and toe and protect their stores at it. Yeah. And these, these right when guys for the past like 10 years or so have loved this, I mean, they love whenever there's like, you know, kind of like a minority that seems to share racial animus with them. Yeah. And so in this case, they love talking about like rooftop Koreans. And so if I could just spoil it, can I just spoil the movie? I think it can spot the movie. The big climactic moment, it looks like our heroes are about to get killed. And then. The heroes, the heroes here are the ice agents trying to the ice agent and the people inside the pawn shop who are being held hostage by the by the MS 13 gangs and the liberal code. Yeah. And so at the end, there's this fight with MS 13 and it looks like they're going to loot the pawn shop people are going to lose. And then the grocery store has been like mostly out of the mix.

And then suddenly shots ring out from the grocery store and it's the guys on the roof shooting the MS 13. And then one character says like, I love a rooftop Korean. Oh my God. Okay. So this is pretty big. There's a lot here that I couldn't even fit in because there's just I forgot like there's like of course the Antifa is also racist. And so the sun goes outside and he's like, I can reason with this Antifa, you know, we both were both woke. And they say, well, well, well, if it isn't not Joe Libre. Oh God. Okay. This pure bigoted nonsense, which I guess, you know, is also run high fight, right? Like that was just like anti Islam bigotry. This is anti-spanic bigotry. Well, you know, I don't know. I mean, we've seen that the daily wire reaction to the sort of the fan base is reaction to run high fight infidels. I think was pretty muted. I think people thought, you know, they had Jonathan majors attached that this was going to be a better movie than it was. I mean, he sort of famously disappears for an hour because I guess they couldn't put

his bill for a whole movie. This one, I will say Danny Trejo is in the cast here. Who's that? You know, Danny Trejo, he's kind of like a classic like grizzled Hispanic character actor. Oh, yeah, Danny Trejo. Yeah. Yeah, I'm looking up now. I'm not sure if he's, if he's the dad or if he's like the security guy at the pawn shop or maybe he's an MS 13. I don't know. It could be a couple options. Danny, what are you doing? Oh, okay. As far as we know, he's the biggest star attached. But you know, I think the daily, why are you know, they, they obviously they could keep making more podcasts, but, but at the, you know, at some point, they feel like they just have to make this kind of push into Hollywood. But do they, like, what is the actual market value for this? I don't, they must, obviously, the production costs are pretty significant. Putting on a movie is not cheap, even if it sucks. What are they getting for? I'm very, very curious to know what the economics are here. Yeah, I mean, I don't know if this is something that's just been in the pipeline for a while. That, that, you know, they're kind of just, just running this out. Obviously, we've seen them scale back their ambitions in other ways.

Like, I don't think there's going to be a new season of the pen dragon cycle, the 20, 30 million dollar king Arthur thing they did. On the other hand, though, pen dragon cycle has been the number one TV show on Amazon. Now that it's moved over there. And so maybe there, there's some licensing opportunities. Yeah, I'm wondering if we should get into this business and just do some sort of like false flag movie type thing where you're the hero. Yeah, you're the hero. Never Trump. Working title. No, so here's what I would do is you go to like a turning point USA event as just a reporter there and you get abducted by the crowd. And you know, there's like a bunch of never trumpers who like band together to save you. And we'll like work with this. Like there's got to be different plot lines and like match slaps in the way. And he's trying to like, you know, seduce one of the never trumpers back in the summer. Remember, like we could do something like that where it's like any all these characters are not real match up, a fictionalized version of match.

Of course. Yeah, and Benny Johnson's there. And he's just like, you know, live streaming the whole thing. I feel like we could do that. Yeah, but would we want to? I mean, because this is kind of the daily wire model is like with these movies is they take something particularly this one is obviously really ripped from the headlines. And then they kind of, you know, slot in a couple characters and, you know, in the news. So, you know, I feel like we could do it. Why not us? No, but seriously, you know, this is why they invented AI. We should have an AI bot just churn out a script, a movie script where you're the hero and you get abducted and we have to come to your rescue. A motley crew of pro democracy activists. Yes. Yes. You know, there's something else I could point out. So, so we've got the people inside the pawn shop and, you know, there's a standoff with Antifa. And one of the guys inside is this heroin addict who is in there because he was trying to pawn some stuff. He stole or no, I'm sorry. He was, you know, he was trying to pawn his dad's purple heart. So this is like a whole thing as well.

But basically he's like, he's going into withdrawal. He needs his heroin and he calls his drug dealer and the drug dealer is like, I can't get through a man. He's like, I'm going to get into Antifa's siege. Oh, wait, I talked to someone in Antifa. They said you just need to unlock the door and then you can get that sweet, sweet horse. And so the idea of Antifa, you know, kind of cutting this deal struck me. So the Antifa's dealing heroin to this guy? Well, yeah, they're like, you know, yeah, if you unlock the door, we'll get you some heroin buddy. And does he unlock the door? He does, unfortunately. And there one is a powerful drug. So yeah, he redeems himself at the end, but he does die. Oh, shit. How does he redeem himself? Uh, he shows up at an opportune moment with a shotgun and shoots some guys. There's so much violence in these movies too. It's everyone's just getting shot and dying. Kind of sick, twisted mind for these screenplay writers. It's pretty gross. There's a lot of kind of like, you know, check off shotgun going on in this movie. There's a, you know, there's a lovely young woman who's in there ponding her ex-boyfriends

Rolex. And she obviously is the love interest for the the woke sun. And at one point, someone's like, wow, this pawn shop sure has a lot of money. A lot of katanas. And so it's like you can imagine. At some point she's going to find a katana. Oh, man. Well, I'm not going to watch it. Do we know what it's supposed to come at? Of course you will. But do we know what it's supposed to mean? I mean, they just, they just stop filming last week. So I got to assume it'll be, you know, at least six months. Can you speak last question like to like livingston Montana? Because obviously they're not happy about this. Otherwise, they wouldn't have protested and sent someone, when I've sent us the script. But like, what is going on in Livingston? Yeah. So there's like a movie. The reason it's there is there's sort of like a movie ranch near the town where they can do a lot of the filming. And apparently the owner seems very supportive of it. But then obviously some of it's downtown. And you know, I, I heard from some people there that said, like, I mean, like this is Montana, you know, it's not like the, the wakas place. But there were certainly some locals. I think someone had a megaphone, people honking horns. I mean, I don't think they had any, any big dreams of derailing the production, but they

were trying to sort of make it as obnoxious to film there as possible. Right. But it's supposed to be Minneapolis, but they filmed it in Livingston. Yes, exactly. Okay. Cures how they pulled that one off. Well, I think they pulled it off because it's just like one building. If you read the script, I mean, it all really takes place on like, like a half of a block. You butch, you know what though? How do they make it look like Minneapolis? Because they say things like, you know, the kids on the bike and it's just like, take no notice of the crackhead pooping in the street. So that's kind of their image of Minneapolis. Bentham Minneapolis. That's not the image that I came away with. All right. Well, well, thank you for doing this. And for anyone out there who is in possession of another daily wire movie script or maybe a pitch that they put together for the next movie, you know where to send it. Send it to Will. He is now fully on the daily wire movie. Be he will review scripts, pitches, actual end products. He's relentless. And that's why we love him. Subscribe to the feed where you get insights. I'll call this an insight like this. Will take care of body. Thanks, everyone.
