Steven Finds Etsy & Ai Friend That’s Always Listening

As always, the show starts off on an unusual tangent, with a wild discussion around Steven finding the Etsy website and deciding to purchase anything he can that can include the Double Tap logo – purely for professional video recording reasons only obviously! Also, the guys get into discussion on how their new studios will be designed and what steps they are taking to get ready for the move to YouTube.

This leads to a rumour about the upcoming Mac Mini and its potential redesign, with new M4 chips and a possibly smaller Apple TV-like size.

Steven also shares an article with Shaun from Wired Magazine about a new AI pin called Friend that wants to be your best friend. It will listen to you all day and send you messages via your phone to help you along, like talking to you about your day, what might have gone wrong during a recent date and even ribbing you if you’re losing at your favourite video game. But what is the point of this and could it be dangerous? Or is this a potential lifeline for isolated people including those who are disabled?
