Something Is Watching: Operation Smoke in the Great Smoky Mountains|Drewski from Cryptid Warfare

Deep in the Great Smoky Mountains, a team of cryptid investigators entered the woods expecting a field investigation. What they experienced may have changed how some of them understand Bigfoot, Dogman and the unexplained. In this episode of Broadcasting Seeds, Bennett sits down with Drewski from Cryptid Warfare Podcast and CW Operations to discuss Operation Smoke, a multi-person survival and cryptid investigation near an old Appalachian graveyard. The team reported strange vocalizations, unexplained footprints, shadow figures, rocks being thrown, intense feelings of dread and two mysterious figures appearing on thermal imaging before seemingly disappearing into the forest. They also witnessed a chem light moving without any visible person or animal touching it, heard something charge toward the camp and encountered activity that appeared to remain outside the perimeter they had prayed over. Was the team dealing with an undiscovered animal, a spiritual entity, something connected to Appalachian folklore—or a mixture of all three? This conversation explores the uncomfortable territory where field research, folklore, faith and spiritual warfare overlap.
