I'm very glad! Today's fry is not ok. Good morning! This is the third October from June的 tomorrow. You asked Steve at the day off. I have woke up this morning and I have a delay and actually I usually get up quite early. But woke up this morning here, the sadness of rise misses isn't too well. So, Rai has to look after these misses and Ted, of course, is on his way back from Sunland back to Cyprus after his mother's funeral. So, just one of those situations where we've had the reschedule, the short notice, Ted did try to jump on, but that already changed the show back to Ask Steve. So, anyway, here we are. Don't make it let you down with a short on the morning and I've got a busy day at the
day of myself anyway. So, yeah, we'll have a chat and I'll come here, questions, get the questions in because obviously I don't have any sent in by anybody. So, relying on you and the chat, Gary, at the moment, the telegraph headline this morning is that the UAE is threatening the UK government by withdrawn billions of investment over the man city case any sort on this Steve. Yeah, I mean, if you sort the amigos last night, this was a fascinating discussion. It was one of those where I just got this sit back and missing the word people had to say. I didn't really have to do anything other than, you know, ask the simple questions and get the answers from the lads. But yeah, I mean, there was no doubt in Mitch's mind last night that, you know, this could be the case that the UAE would withdraw billions of investment over this case. Now, that's ridiculous because for me football and politics should be too completely separate
things and I know that there'll be people out there go, well hold on, hold on. You know, what happened with your take over? Saudi wanted to come into the take over the United. Well, Saudi didn't take over the United. It was a public investment fund. People can say yes, but that's just the Saudi. You know, that's the Saudis in disguise. You know, it's ridiculous. We've got a situation in the Premier League where he castly and I did on the first and it gives us an opportunity, I guess, to show this, which, you know, is just a snapshot really. I didn't get a chance to show it last night. But they will go look Premier League clubs, Arsenal, Emirates, shirt training and Emirates stadium name and right. Who owns that? The Government of Dubai ICD. Arsenal's also involved with the St. Lucia tourism authority, official destination partner, St. Lucia government, statutory tourism authority. Aston Villa, visit Rwanda, principal partner, shirt sponsor, tourism partner, coffee provider,
Rwandan government, Chelsea Omane, official airline partner, 99.9% Oman investment authority, Liverpool visit Maldives, official destination partner, 100% government of Maldives, Manianite milleas airlines, official commercial airline sponsor, ultimately milleas just stayed owned. You can say what I'm coming from. That's something that was sent to us. And you know, ultimately, you know, in some way shape or form, all clubs have that kind of connection with a state. So journalists, as we know, and those who have an anti-new castle and anti-cellier gender will jump on this opportunity to have a pop-up in your castle and say that we shouldn't be allowed to have a Saudi owners because of everything that's going on. If you can't trust the people from the UA, you can't trust the people from Saudi. We'll get all of that kind of stuff coming out. So look, for me personally, am I concerned about that? No, I think that there is a clear definition between what the government should be involved
in and what shouldn't be involved in. At the end of the day, the Premier League is a competition. It's a sport to lead. They have their own government body. They don't have to count out what the government say if we're trying to do something in housing, the government should not be able to get involved in something for me like this. Of course, that doesn't mean they won't. But for me, the government shouldn't be getting involved. So it's very annoying that anyone would even suggest that with the case. But we know that there's going to be so many different agendas going on behind the scenes. Two questions on the city case. What do you think will happen? What do your whole patterns regarding punishment? Great question, Gary. What do I think will happen? I think it will be a punishment that we've never seen before. I think there will be points deduction, certainly a points deduction. And we all we have at this minute in time is the points deductions that have been handed out to Evan and Forest.
And that has been all this in our years. But let's just focus on those two. So based on that and based on the amount of charges that the city have been found guilty of, one would imagine that it's got to be something as similar to that. And it should be in the hundreds, shouldn't it? Really the points deduction should be in the hundreds. I mean, for each penalty, let's say four points. So that's going to take us to close to 500 point reduction. Now we know that that's ludicrous. In essence, that means that they'll get relegated this season. They'll go into the championship. And if they keep everybody together, which you would imagine there would be able to, you know, some players would want to leave a course, but if they could get, if it could get back open, that was the end of the punishment. Then that'll be crazy. One year in the championship, obviously it's going to affect them. They would agree.
But, you know, I think there needs to be a punishment along the lines of what Neil was suggesting last night. So we've got a similar outlook on this. A points deduction which carries into the next time they come into the Premier League. So look, if they get relegated into the championship, then the FA then have a decision to make. What do they want to do? I mean, are they going to punish them for what they did in the Premier League? Perhaps not, but maybe they will have conditions attached to them. Who knows? But for me, if they come, let's say that there's a points deduction each time they come back into the Premier League, then I think most people would see that as fair. So they get promoted, they have a season in the Premier League, but they relegated again. I think they would object to that, of course, but, you know, I don't think that will happen. But that's what I'd like to think that we could see. There has to be some kind of sanctions on transfers.
Predominantly, that was a big part of this. So some kind of transfer on Bago, which lasts for a period of time. Some may suggest that a transfer on Bago for each year that they're cheated might be sufficient. So a transfer on Bago could be, what, eight and nine years, that's another punishment that they could have. I don't think that a financial fine is any use at all. I think that a financial fine will be just laughed at and lapped up and paired with no issues. But I do feel that they need to have this punishment, a punishment which sends out a very strong message. I also think there needs to be some kind of punishment that those who allowed this to happen at the Premier League. And of course, there's a lot of folks on Man City at the moment, what their response is going to be, what their own response is going to be. But in the grand scheme of things, it's for me, what happens at the Premier League because
as the song goes, the Premier League is corrupt. That is a song that is sung around grounds up and down the country week after week after week. And there is an underlying distrust and feeling that the Premier League is not what it should be. And it is set out to stop teams breaking in the so-called red cartel, the top five. And for us as football fans, that kills the dream, it kills the hope, it kills the expectations. Everybody should be on a level playing field. Everybody should have the opportunity to go and start the season and hope that they can win Premier League. That's what you want, isn't it? You should all have that opportunity to be able to dream like Leicester City did and win the Premier League. But at the moment, we can't. We're not set up for that. And that needs to be addressed.
I think a lot of people would love to say Richard Masters held the account. And that's a name which of course is very significant in our history now, with a takeover. Maybe who made our takeover so hard. And maybe something that hasn't really been considered with regards to Richard Masters is, was Richard Masters aware that at some point this whole Saudi takeover could end up being like the takeover of a senior man city. Was he already aware? I didn't really put that right. Was he really aware of what was already going on with Man City? And at some point the proverbial was going to hit the fan. And that's why he was so against the Saudi takeover. But because having already lit the blue touch paper, I was Man City coming into the Premier League and what they were getting away with behind the scenes, which was obviously going
to come out at some point. Was he scared that the Saudi coming in would be exactly the same. And that's why the rules changed. For me that would seem logical. And no one's really cotton done that. That's just something that's come to me over the last few days. So maybe that's the reason. Well yeah, for me, answer to your question Gary. I think there will be a points deduction. I think city will see the championship next season. I don't think the FA will react and send them down divisions. I think that they'll end up in the championship. I think from the championship's point of view, they will see that there's a huge benefit in the short term from a financial point of view. It would be good for clubs in the championship. But I think a points deduction, which if they come up next season, they come up this season
after they will then have another points deduction. And that will be fair. But I think it will be a one off points deduction, which is even relegated. I think if they come back into the Premier League, they'll be then strict rules. There will be maybe a transfer in Bargo. There will be punishments attached. But when they return to the Premier League, I think people would go mad if it wasn't that. But what I hope happens is that there is a severe punishment and that there's nothing I'm diggin' and I also want to say the people at the Premier League who allowed this to happen, if it was Richard Masters, if it was other people behind the scenes as well, there needs to be a complete overhaul of the Premier League and they really do need, you know, maybe using their own words from when the Premier League launched, there needs to be a whole new ballgame. That's what there needs to be. Alex, good morning. I imagine the scenario that situation is not resolved by the end of the season and may win the league with Richard Masters, having to present the trophy over, support us,
paying out money for a good season. I mean, Alex, it's a great thing to be honest and good to see in the chat, by the way, and haven't seen you for a while. You know what, nothing would surprise you with the Premier League, Alex. It's tainted now. I remember many people in football sniggering and pointing at the scenario that developed in Italy and, you know, that really was an embarrassment for Italian football. That's what this is. The Premier League is, it's front page now, not back page. The Premier League is top of news agendas. It has been all week and it's only going to get worse. The revelation last night that the young lad who'd essentially been the whistleblower in the story is now living under a threat of death, tells you how serious this is. There's big money at stake here and there's people who've milked this dry.
Ryan Reynolds here from Midmobile, the message for everyone paying Big Wireless way too much. Please, for the love of everything good in this world, stop. Like mint, you can get premium wireless for just $15 a month. Of course, if you enjoy overpaying no judgments, but that's weird. Okay, one judgment. Anyway, give it a try at midmobile.com slash switch. Up front payment of $45 per three month plan, equivalent to $15 per month required. Intro rate for three months only. Then full price plan options available. Taxes and fees extra. Seafull terms at mintmobile.com. Situation dry will be sweating a little bit more at night and probably not sleeping at night. But you're right at this moment in time. You know, it feels like a dud season. It's the people as well who've suffered in the past and we've got to look at our nearest rivals, Sunderland. I mean, Sunderland lost a cop final against Manchester City against a team that essentially cheated. I mean, how many teams have finished second to Manchester City and the different fat would
have made on their trophy count teams that have essentially finished in positions in Europe where they could have been in the Champions League because Manchester City cheated. Players as well. There's just hit the clubs, but it also hits the players. There are players, Contracht, who will be based around finishing in the position where you know, European football was gained and they didn't get European football. So the Contracht, they didn't get the money that we're hoping to get. It's a knock on effect. It's a knock on effect. It's absolutely crazy to think that we're in this position now where our whole history in the last decade or so has been fake false and so many people are affected. And I mean, the legal bill for this will go into the, you would imagine into the billions,
the knock on effect and the cold cases and you know, I mean, as always, the people who win in these cases are lawyers and it's just crazy to think that this would happen. It really is. Absolutely bonkers. Just getting away from that slightly, it's just jogging me memory. Any of you who watch BBC Breakfast this morning will know this story. Wonderful story about a Celtic shirt that was worn by Ian Wright, which essentially was, let's just say, taken from its rightful owner. And what people have done is they've passed the shirt on and this shirt now has been taken to places such as Brazil, Germany, you know, you name it Australia. It's gone to virtually every country around the world, but different people wear in the
top. And the guys now finally got the top back, but he's got all these pictures, people have been sending pictures of it. And it's such a funny story, but you get a chance to watch it on BBC Breakfast, give it a watch. It's brilliant, absolutely brilliant. I've got to be honest, and this is a confession. We did this with somebody's garden home once. One of our mates had a garden home that he was really fond of. And we took it round the world. We gave it the different people and we sent postcards from the home. You did get the home back eventually, like, but it's not the first time someone's done something like this, but with a football top, it definitely is. The photo of this guy wearing it in Brazil is absolutely brilliant, but there's been a book made of it now as well, which is great. Fantastic, great stuff. Okay, let's give back the old questions. And points, Graham says, if city of Brooklyn allowed, they deserve everything they get. If they have broken, Premier League rules, wonderful. Hopefully it'll enhance the discussion on investment. Yeah, I mean, it's where we're going now, isn't it?
It's where we go. And like I'll keep making this point, you know, the Newcastle would, you know, they're trying to stop our take over. And that for me now may have a sense. I think they were worried that this was going to be a carbon copy. And that's why they stopped it. I think that's why they're prevented the, why they're trying to prevent the take over. But yeah, I mean, if it broke and rules, they need to be punished. It's as simple as that. More on an island, anyone off to the stack tomorrow for war flags. Fun reser. As you know, Alan, I'll never set foot in that place. Not for me. Good luck to war flags doing some great stuff. That key add up that basically that key in display will live with me. And I'm sure everyone who was there and everyone around the world forever, it was amazing. So well done to war flags and good luck with the fun, razor. But I'm not cool. Great morning.
It's unrealistic, but could sit before us to sell assets to pay for any compensation. And something we pointed out on a UFC matters probably about a year ago, could be more. I mean, how long has this dragged on? How long has this case dragged on? We did speak about the contracts that were being handed out the players. If you remember when Harlan saying the contract was it eight years or nine years that he signed? And I think I referenced the simple, the simple maths there is that they're worried about the 115 charges and players will be put on long term contracts because if they do have to sell them, then that helps them with the finances. Let's face it, if Elliot Anderson is worth a hundred million, what is Erlin Holland with? So if they did have to sell, then yes, of course, I'm sure that there would be a few of those players up for grabs. Is Erlin Holland likely to want to go and play in the championship for Manchester City?
You'd have to doubt it. Like everybody else, there is no only in football, you can kiss the bad you all you want. But is Erlin Holland really going to be wanting to go there to play some of these teams in the championship? You really want to be doing that? We've seen a lot of these hilarious JPEGs that have been flying around the internet. You know, of them playing at Skundle Open and stuff like that. But it's a realistic possibility. But yeah, I genuinely think that the sale of assets could happen. But let's remember, the ruin is, the more almost got unlimited funds and it really depends on what happens with regards to this appeal process. There's talk that had been fast-tracked and it's going to be quick at them we all think. But yeah, I think they could be forced to sell at least some assets to do some of these.
But also players will want to leave. Some players will not be happy in the championship. Imagine how many goals Harlan would get in the championship, but I know I mean it would be crazy. I think I'm saying short term for certainly for the championship. I mean, it's a novelty isn't it? It's a novelty act. Having man-city trips around the championship were there. They're players and they're manager. I mean, you know, it's crazy. I think it's too soon to compare the future with Yaisle with past achievements, but I'm excited about our potential. So this is obviously just getting on in Ycasoline I did now. Did somebody else ask a question with regards to that? There it is. Tune talk. Am I the only one not convinced throughout Yaisle? I know it's early and it's not I told you so. But I'm struggling to say progress. I mean, I would agree with less in the sense that it is to really draw comparison. I think that the tires Yaisle was coming at a difficult time.
And I will reiterate that I did say at the start of the season, Ycasoline Nighted was finished 17th this year. you know, the opening games and I've been every game home and away this season and I'll continue to do that For the next couple of months. I think this is a couple of months before I miss me first game but I can see why Certain people feel that this isn't quite what people think it is at the moment And I'm back right up with the stats the shots that we're having on goal are not adequate enough We are conceding too many chances and there's too many shots being allowed to come in at our goal Those are the two stats really which the toilet matters You know if you score more than you're the team you're going to win the game and At this moment in time we are misfire and up front and We are allowing too many chances the difference so far is that we're not conceding as As badly as we did last season with the exception of the leads game. We are
We are right now a look is probably the best way to describe a grim. I would say that There is plenty of optimism with certain players. I think we all look at Sean Stern think well done You know to to to to Nicathaly United on First of all, identifying them Second of all getting them to sign and And Third of all having the trust in them to perform and Again, he's 18 you know, we have to be we have to be so careful with young players coming through but He's he's a talent and like I've said a few times on this show For a young Dutchman to Want to wear the number of Johann Christ and have the confidence to play in the Premier League as he has Um, it's exceptional at the age of 18 so We've always said if you're if you're good enough then you're old enough and So many times we've had players of that age who've just never made it who've come through our academy for example
That I think of many But this young lad's come through one of the best academies in the world. Yeah, I act academy and He just looks the part and he's he's confident with it so Sean Stern is being the one one big bonus Again, we've been hit with injuries So it's like that's another reason we can't really judge Matthias Yisler Because we'll be with Elf weather people like that are not three key players Dan Boon Jolent William Asulas Three players who for me would start each game and I think that The only time that we can really judge Yisler Is at the end of the season in May when we have a A clear idea of where we're finished what we've done have a Have we finished in the top 10 have we finished new European players have we finished 17th where I thought we might finish
Have we got a cup final have a have a done well in the cups You know a good run in the cups would probably be good enough on diicelo with a with a decent lead finish But we could only compare them then Ross Greggle is written an article where he is doubting Yisler very similar to To others saying that he's not convinced But as we say at the moment we're sitting on the third of October We've had a ludicrous break now, you know in the Premier League season It's very starting again when we play a cover on me But we've got a little run of games now where we can just pick up the pace and You know win games which is all you need to do go out there and win the games then We're going to give ourselves a little bit of breathing space and an opportunity to progress. So It'll be in rest. It will be in rest Give Yisler a chance first to recipe then the preparation and hopefully we will get to enjoy the most amazing Jody feast A lot of youngins doing amazing things And and Alan you and mother are always positive
And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I mean Pablo has been You know mega didn't the comments this week Our last week. I think it was for for positivity There's nothing wrong with being positive at all um I've I've tried almost to change the amount of iron yet despite maybe in quite negative in the summer about the transfer business Um, especially when Bruno left everyone knows I was so disappointed in that that particular transfer I do think we could have got at least another year out before we let him go but see you levy The The positivity is is massively helpful for Yisler answer the team, you know, and that defeat that leads was awful to watch. I was there but you know We still support the team till the end, you know, and That's what it's all about being a supporter. We've got to support So we need to make sure that you know the negativity online is what we need to avoid You know you can't stop everybody but You need to be positive and try and give the team support online. That's the key
but I don't Want to make any judgments on the age that the end of the season. Let's see where we are then The comparisons were him and Eddie how neat to stop Eddie how is in the in the past now He's in the history books. He's in the history books with Sababi Robson. We're Rafa Benitez with Kevin Keegan with Joe Harvey, you know, forget about Eddie now. It's done. It's gone Those kind of comparisons will will always be there. I know but you know, it's not doing us any good and it's not doing him any good You know talking about that Okay, halfway through the show. please pointing towards Arsenal Manchester United Liverpool etc. Man United why should we should be looking at them and I think it does open a kind of words I do think I do think it opens a kind of worms 100% and I think that the Premier League will be you know the Premier League seriously will you know we'll have to reset I don't think there's any any doubt about it when it will reset how it will reset I don't know but it's going to have to certainly there's going to have to be new new kind of Premier League well like I said at the start of the program it's going to have to be a whole new ball game isn't it there's no doubt about it so yeah I think you know there are all bullies over the top five and I think that everything needs to be addressed use this opportunity to address everything do you think the cartel are abiding by these rules in place I personally think they aren't I think everyone's breaking the rules in some way a shape I form somebody came on the show last night and pointed out that me castle broke in the rules
and Chelsea had broken the rules yeah but that's with you way if I and it's a financial penalty for some minor discrepancy isn't it it's not a it's not a flagrant breaking of the rules and cheating as we've seen from Manchester City or has been alleged with Manchester City so you're looking at it and going you know this this situation we find ourselves in is on president so because it's on president you know we don't know what the punishment's going to be but yeah I know chip as the simple answer I don't think that there is a you know I don't think I don't think there's one of those cartel teams that's not doing something unjust or unsee every behind the scenes I genuinely think that's the case. Les I will keep the trolls for when they'll add to run again I see lots of criticism as pers and amount they spend despite the finishes in 17 but they've got a huge income from the stadium which keeps money flowing despite poor form do we need this new stadium from a financial aspect yeah Gary but do need a new stadium as we need a new
training grounds you know so you know we know that things are in place and the structures in place for the training ground we've now just got to hope that they've got a similar kind of plan for the ground but like I think like we've all almost conceded now we will not see any kind of major movement until after 2028 which is of course when you cast a stage the European the Euros so I think we've got to we just got to be patient with the ground there's no doubt about it that Spurs is commercial income and revenues is far greater than ours and and was prior to than getting a new stadium so investment in new stadium definitely helps and it definitely creates that extra income which is required these days what will happen now though who knows will the rules change will you castle the allow they just spend what they want if they can you know things will change for the benefit of us as well do you think the recent Eddie add statement under
mind cities defense it's a strange scenario Alan I think most of you on here know that I'm quite as simple as for as football's concerned the football finance isn't something that I've really focused on massively you know I've left that there to here's the image and penmin you know those three you know a hell of a lot more about those scenarios and concentrate their efforts on those scenarios more than I do you know I'm simply somebody you like to go and watch my team and and bugger the rest of it but I think like everybody I've had to show an interest in the football finances and what it all means but it's a tangled web and and I think there's so many conflict and statements coming out from so many different sides I'll let the moment that you know it all needs to settle down and we all need to see you know how it's all going to how it's all going to end up it's not really an answer to your question but at this moment in time it's just like chucking six six balls of wool all of different colors into a pile the mall getting mixed up
you're having to try and find your way at the end of each one the tie and unravel it that's that's where we're at at the moment trying to give you a visualization if we're actually at with this it's an absolute mess and then bugger wouldn't bother them too much short term I don't think looking at their academy in the same fight the six players under 23 in the summer there's definitely been a reshufflein of the deck chairs on the deck of the Titanic Day of there's no doubt about it you can go from given the lights of Holland eight nine year contract to bring in the younger players there's definitely been that kind of reshufflein of the park because ultimately they they knew what was coming they just didn't know when so now that they know that it's now that the cat out the bag yeah I genuinely think that you know there will be you know there will be various things you know there will be various things that happen we've got real pinto in the spare bedroom going to make a take on my coffee up for I mean I think you know how bizarre that though that's
somebody completely unknown to everybody in world football who's now one of the most known people in football is is living in fear of his life you know because of because of breaking this story absolutely crazy man absolutely crazy hope you take them a bit in sandwich in a stucky as well my known high-stdstdd but isn't it sad that they have to just to compete in the top six yeah John 100% and I think that's the I think that's the point that Liam Gallagher is trying to make on his social media you know there's hold on a minute you know you know you're all blame and city you're all having a pop of city and he's going to defend him because he's a fan how many brother um but what about these other clubs what about the cartel what about the red cartel so you can see why people are getting up a height and annoyed um you know and you know you know he makes a valid point you know these other teams aren't squeaky clean so you know what will happen with them moving forward you know crazy it'll make one hell of a movie to play with till I
hope it's a happy arending for him to be honest um but yeah fair play at the case he's got balls of steel for breaking that story because he he must have known what was coming who now you know he says a lot of clubs interlate their income do you think there are feelings in how the Premier League orders itself let's have to great question and of course of course to do um it's got that kind of complex and feel about it you know what I mean like it's it's it's 1992 91 82 since the the Premier League started and the whole new ball game and you know you know all the razmatas that came with the Premier League but I think it's just people have took their eye off the ball and it does tend to happen when you know I don't know when people are making money you know people do take their eye off the ball and they take the eye off people in the take the eye off clubs and the rules and the regs only were focused on and changed when
you castling out its take over was imminent and that tells the story that tells the story for me that that they knew what was going on with man sitting behind the scenes but yeah I don't often agree with who and I am but I could certainly agree with them on that and we could put an early 12 months loan bidding for Holland maybe it's bizarre and I just think that that's a scenario and now where Holland could not be a man just to sit and play in the next 12 months I mean at the moment he looks like he's set for life there you know but yeah crazy scenario I don't think he suits new castles reigns and certainly don't think we're going to afford the payment this moment in time but if the rules change you never know regardless of the shot to go for new castle is it not just a continuation of last season Steve or are we still missing that special type of play out of the opens of defences I think it's a bit of both I mean it's definitely a continuation of last season's form in the sense that with change formation we're gone with two in midfield but we are still conceding shots on our goal
and quite a worrying fashion although we're not conceding the goals yet lead to the exception of course and we're not scoring as many goals as we need to you know we've been unlucky with the injuries though we've got no a solar and I know a lot of people go on christ you know relying heavily on a solar complaint they're like Manchester City you know in Holland where where focused on a solar but he's been injured all season and that's a big woolly for us you know we haven't got what you would call a natural goal scorer and that's that that is a big concern wish has not the natural goal scorer that we thought he was he's more of a winger that's where he played at Brentford when he scored his 20 odd goals and pardon again looks like a winger we're having gotten out now out nine we haven't gotten out now and she ran we haven't got I haven't even got a show around me over at the minute which you know and he wasn't my favourite player um oh yeah strange scenario strange strange scenario I'll end off the side this next which he's had the changes ring doorbells
to keep an eye off a pinto uh and Andrew says alone for Holland why not a straight swap by Jacob Murphy great idea Andrew um a lot that wanted Eddie gone over egging Yisler for me to justify Eddie going our stats on too much better than last year day of again I can't disagree with you um some great comments coming in this morning I think um that was the point I was trying to make before uh with with regards to you know with with Yisleries you can't judgmentally end of the season and you know I just been some positives there's been some negatives but he's not had the full team to pick from full squad to pick from um he's had the make they were meant and you know the midfield which really looks for strongest on paper has been you know it's been hampered with injuries as well you know we you know we obviously lost Gonzales to concussion before this there's this as you celebrate the game take a deeper look at its roots the people grow in the grass
they've in the lots well in the goalposts inspecting every football the hardworking people to make every Sunday possible car heart is proud to outfit the crews behind the game visit carheart.com join the trades to learn more my Lee's now returned from international jute and it looks like he's injured again Jolinton's being out injured thankfully he's coming back in training now so the midfield against cobblery could be a more mature could have a bit more of a mature look we could have Jolinton in there Gonzales in there Sean Sturke could be in there um you know we could have well obviously bonds you know this this players coming back in um but yeah getting getting back the thing the question there dear yeah the people who wanted Eddie Garner are obviously going to back Yisler to the hill um and say you know he's the best things since sliced bread you know there just needs to be a bit of parody a bit of a bit of clear thinking a bit of level thinking you know at the end of the day you know to new manager we've got a back him we support him and
Eddie's in the history books like I said before Eddie also had a different set of players to work with Yisler's got has not got a Bruno Isaac etc and that's again that's a valid point I mean look any manager coming in and getting the points on the board that Yisler has managed to achieve and getting through not one with two rooms of the Carabell Coup right having lost Gordon to an alien Bruno and replacing with a load of kids is yeah you have to look at that and say well don't you know um yeah tell you the big Jol back up top could have happened I mean anything's possible in football um big Jol top wasn't wasn't the scenario that we that we were looking for um you know under-redigit but it could work on day Yisler and you know you could certainly hold the ball up and bring others into play um sort of start of that never say never on that Alan it's a good show credit the club hugely over financial management uh feel that they knew what was coming with city says grim yeah and and I think that was a point I was trying to make
you know what in me last question with the lad last night um was that you know how do you feel about the way any castelinated run the club now because there has been a there has been that kind of error of despondency criticism aimed at the football club uh why don't they just go out and break the rules this is ridiculous blah blah blah blah we're now we're looking at it and going had the broken the rules like Manchester City um have alleged to have done then you know we would have been in the same boat so yes creditly castelinated for the way that they've managed it um let's just see how this all pans out you know let's see how it all pans out you know man city or adamant that they've done nothing wrong that they're going to prove the innocence but you know this is going to happen quite quickly you would imagine um you know we've we've it's been judged the being found guilty the punishment needs to to be handed out um once the appeal process is completed you know will the clear then the aims on certain things I doubt it the fact that this
is come out now and it's so public the damage is being done to the man city the damage is being done you know the the proverbial sit the fan um there's been tarnished whatever happens the reputation has been tarnished and if this isn't the end for man city as we know it then this is the end of the premier league as we know it and it's who's going to give who's going to give here because if city deal clear a name they'll be pushing the how am I the premier league for for what they've done um you know that's that's the flip side of this it's a fuss and hit it's fuss and hitting and we're all as supporters of other premier league clubs we're all sitting on the sidelines waiting to say what happens yeah credit the credit in castling i just felt at least you know keeping a powder dry have we heard anything about this independent regulator and would that make much difference to the current situation really don't know Gary I really don't know um nothing
nothing that I could tell you on that um don't know anything about the independent regulator so not sure how that works out and what um you know what happens do you wonder why this verdict just come out at the start of the season doesn't it just ruin the season I think that was a point that Alex made a point uh right at the top of the show you know imagine Richard master's hand in a premier league trophy the bloody Manchester City this year I mean you know just makes a force of a done season doesn't it I mean it's the legal side of the chip us um it's being kicked down the road by the lawyers the lawyers have been paid to deal that and they've done a great job and it's I mean this season is it does stand the chance of being ruined if if an appeal goes forward and that drags on you know in man City win the league it makes a force of another league season of 100 percent of course it does I find it out why it's come out during the season not the end of the season it could screw a lot of fixtures up I don't think I'll screw fixtures up because I don't think man City will be relegated I don't think Manchester City will be relegated automatically um I think
Manchester City will be given a points deduction it'll be relegated this season and that'll be that so the season will play out as the season will play out um I just think that you know it's it's what happens after that you know um but the reason it's come out during the season is because you know there was no there's no time limit on when it comes out it's come out because it's come out now it's it's just it's just because that's the end of the process you can't judge when the end of the process is going to happen it's when eventually the lawyers have done all the can it gets put in front of an independent committee regulate it or whatever they make the decision and that's it so you know you can't predict when it was going to happen um although and this is probably can't predict what I said to us you know the rumors flying around are that man City knew that what the result was in July so if that was the case why wasn't it released then I don't know but I do find a dollar as well but you know that was my justification but
Masters isn't going to get out of this miss quickly they'll be a scapegoat I will then we'll be a scapegoat and one would imagine that Richard Masters is going to be one of a few people who will find themselves standing at the job centre at some point I do wonder like I said earlier what do it man City have on the cart now and again that's something which you would imagine is going to come out in their defence you know what I mean I think there will be a few people having a steep listen out like I said before people pointing fingers etc or you're worried the regulator said he would look into the owners but said nothing about the financial regulations will the state this gorgeous march on I'm not worried about a junk because there's nothing we're going to do the only thing I'm worried about is Newcastle United and Newcastle United by all accounts of kept themselves in line and have kept themselves clean and we can't look at we can't look at anything other than what's going to happen we can't affect the decision but the fact that it's all out in Europe and now which is something that we've wanted for years is a massive massive positive this can't go on now so something will change and that at the end of the days is a positive could they
force an ownership change all of Chelsea of course the could the could say that they could say that they can't own the club anymore and they have to sell so yeah I mean that could happen as well as the punishment you know that would that would happen as well yes there will be I've got me tickets for for man City and one of those gigs some look forward to that now what do you think of the APL system of order and it took a hack and it were exposed the truth exactly made you know it's it's crazy John it's it's crazy this whole story is crazy you know Alan said earlier it would make a hell of a film you know let's just talk this a happy ending if any cast on United and let's hope that we can then you know finally have a level play in ground like Astin Villataan like all the teams in the Premier League can and we'll have an opportunity to compete into hope and to dream and to potentially win something next season okay folks thanks for joining us thanks to your questions hope you've enjoyed that back tomorrow with the professionals have us nine in the morning look forward to seeing you all in take care
