It's my party. What do they do? They just push me out of the way, push me down, you go in the end, and you know I'm upset. I'm really upset. I expect to be respected in New York. I made I levitated. I don't get really upset about things, but this really is upsetting to me. The way it was treated in my own town. Hello everyone and welcome to Everything Iconic with me, Danny Pillagrino. That was a clip from this past week's episode of The Real House's Ultimate Girls Trip. Now I know on the podcast this week we're going to be covering this week's Rony, but that's Rony adjacent. It's obviously the way I don't know what is happening with the way I'm on Ultimate Girls trip, but certainly something is happening with the way I'm on Ultimate Girls trip, because it's like everything she sings crazy. And she needs to be the center of every photo. People were calling her out about being the center of every photo. And then she was upset that people were treating her poorly in her own town. Like she was so mad.

That was a clip from when she gets on the phone with Durinda. And Durinda is just FaceTime and with her obviously Durinda was probably just watching episode of Law and Order. And then Luiann FaceTime's around camera. And she's got sunglasses on in the morning. She looks like she hasn't slept in days. I mean, I don't know. Luiann is obviously beautiful, but the between the vocals, the sunglasses, everything. It's like, oh, Luiann, I don't think she's seen the top of a pillow in a few days. And if she had, she certainly wasn't sleeping on it. She was just doing something else because it's like the way that she's acting. And I don't know if we're supposed to say how we're noticing she's acting or not. If it's appropriate and I don't want to speculate, of course, I'm no doctor. I know someone who can be diagnosing, but I am a man with the microphone unfortunately. And of course, we all know that there should be less men with microphones. So I'm going to try to keep my mouth shut and try to shut my gullet. But I do think something is happening with Luiann that we are, I don't know, what's happening with her. But she calls up Durinda. And Durinda's face time in again, from her house, from probably Bluestone Manor waiting for the rest of the cast to arrive to Bluestone Manor

because on the finale, they're all going to, all the cast of the house, so they're going to be a Bluestone Manor. And so Durinda's sitting at Bluestone. She's wearing a SpongeBob square pants sweatshirt. And Luiann is just talking over her and like Luiann's just monologuing at her about how upset she is. And it's like the funniest thing to me. But it's also like, it's very kind of troubling. And I'm curious about that show, The Golden Life, which is going to be on E in October, which I heard is good and I'm excited to watch it. But it's like, what Luiann are we going to get? Because I've seen so many iterations of Luiann and it's like, are we going to get this version of Luiann, Ultimate Girl's Trip, where she's clearly not sleeping and maybe May or may not be partaking in other things. Hey, I have a delusion being top of that list, but I don't know if we're going to get that, Luiann. Are we going to get the Countess whose proper etiquette and everything, or are we going to get someone in the middle? Like I don't know. And the previews for that Golden Life show, it seems like we, it doesn't seem like this version of Luiann. So it's like, what was going on here? And then also like, it's so funny to me like that she had to be in the center of every photo because don't we also have no friends like that?

Or have friends like that. Sometimes I think, I'm not someone who wants to be in the center of the photo, but I do think I know my angles. And so sometimes I might be, I might want to be on like, if you're facing the camera, I might be on, I want to be on the left. It's like, like Mariah Carey's got her good side, where she and a Shea both equal talents in my mind, but not exactly. That's blasphemous actually. Obviously, Mariah Carey is more talented than Shea's Shea, but Sheena does offer things to the culture that I think are necessary. That's not the point. The point is we all have our angles. And so that's one thing, but Luiann, when they showed the montage of her like trying to get front and center and she's so much bigger than all the other women in taller and statuous, I should say. And it would piss me off. We were doing cast photos every second at every one of these stops that they're going to. And that showed to me, it's like so chaotic that ultimate girls trip. And it's frustrating to me because I think it should be more episodes because sometimes I'm like, what's it? I'm getting the whiplash. Like, we were just in Miami and then all of a sudden we're in New York, then Atlanta.

And we're going so fast through these cities. And I feel like there's a lot being cut. But then we're also subjected to like, there was strange Luiann moments. It felt like there was 10 minutes of Alex McCord doing interpretive dance, which reminded me of that Freddie Prince Jr. scene. And she's all that when he's got the hacky sack. And they remember, he goes on stage and it's supposed to be so artsy on this on stage. And so we had Alex McCord just put and shoes on her hands and then stomping around doing artistic interpretive dance. And I love seeing Alex McCord, but then it's like, I want to hear what's up with Alex McCord. Like, no offense, I love seeing that interpretive dance. I could have also seen 10 more minutes of that, but they need to balance it with like me understanding like, where is Alex at in her life? Because Alex appeared in another episode of Ultimate Girls Trip or another season that is being buried because they're not airing it because of that lawsuit that's happening. So I'm assuming we would have caught up with her on that. But since they're not airing that, like then at least catch me up with what's going on with Alex McCord.

Because we were just seeing her with shoes on her hands. And it's like, I don't even know where she is. And then I think maybe there's something editing stuff because they cut out everything with Jill's air in. And so I do blame Jill's air in for a lot of these editing problems, problems. If you got a problem with me, it's your problem. It's my problem that Jill's air and fucked up our show because I feel like the New York cast, much like in the other cities, like when we're in Miami, we see the Miami girls sitting and talking about their show and catching themselves up. But on New York, it's like they had to edit around Jill's errands dumbass. And so they barely showed her, which understandably so, but they shouldn't have invited her in the first place. I know she got publicly canceled and all that kind of stuff and she had to get fired from the Golden Life. But I feel like Jill's errand screwed it up for us. And I don't know that to be true, but that's what I'm taking. But it was funny how they edited her out. They gave her like one little title. It's like Jill's errand.

And then that was it. I don't even think she spoke on the episode. But I would imagine and I did see like a still shot or a clip or something where it was like the New York women all had gotten sat down. It was like Carol, Duranda, Jill, Countess, all the New York women were sitting down. I saw this. And they never showed it on the episode. And I'm assuming it's because of the Jill's errand of it all. But anyway, it's like so frenetic and it moves so fast. And then it's like one minute we're watching Teresa play the saxophone. And then all of a sudden Alex McCord's got shoes on her hands. And then we're moving to a new city. And I'm like, where am I? Where am I? And then we're witnessing a 10 minute speech from Countess Slyan where she's just blabbering and blabbering. And it's like really crazy. And I love it. I do love it. Unfortunately, I love it. I am also obsessed with. And I know on this podcast, even I had to give up recapping the Real House of Orange County because it was so miserable. And at the beginning of Ultimate Girls Shipped the Season Vicky was so miserable and kind of ruining the vibe. But now I'm like sort of obsessed with her vibe because we have a bigger villain in Luan.

So like I am loving at this point in time on Ultimate Girls Shipped watching Vicky be so disgusted by Luan's cabaret. It's like, Cotto does not want to watch the cabaret. Cotto is not interested in any sort of cabaret. And all cabaret is interested in cabaret and not Cotto. And I love that dynamic. It's like really making me laugh. And I'm not saying I like Vicky all the time. But I'm just saying in these last couple episodes the way that the way that she's bonding with the other women over their mutual hatred of Luan is fun for me. It's fun. And to be honest, I was impressed by Theresa playing that saxophone. Was it a saxophone or what was it? Tuba, I don't remember what it was. Well, a rainstick. I don't know what she was playing. I think it was a sax, right? I'm kind of obsessed with the idea of that. It's like so unexpected to me. And she was just dressed as Cher playing the sax. I'm like, yeah, that feels right. And then Lisa Barlow rapping. Lisa Barlow, it's like so chaotic that show.

I'm going to be so depressed when it's over. Even though I have issues with it, but I still love it more than anything on TV. I put it on and I'm like, in bliss. I'm in bliss. I'm looking around. And I'm like, is everybody watching what I'm watching? Because it's so crazy. It's so crazy. Anyway, we're going to talk about the real assays of New York episode four. I'm also enjoying. How is this happening? Despite the state of the world and how every time I'm long on the internet or turn on the television, I'm bombarded with a new story that's more horrific than the last. And everybody seems to be struggling and depressed. But despite it all, I'm enjoying Roni. So I don't know how that's happening. And it's, your guess is as good as mine, but I am enjoying it. And last week we ended with the Passover. They're still at Passover this week. And Haley and Aaron are going to add it over the jam and the boring comment. And whether or not Haley broke the marriage of eight, the Goslands, which I didn't even, I'm surprised that that's coming up so much on the show.

But they're going up and Aaron, of course, she's offended by being called boring, which it's like, A, Aaron is boring. And B, it's really not that big of a deal. I actually think that's sort of sometimes a compliment on these shows because in real life, in the service of these shows, like boring means you're not nuts. And so boring, if you're a cast member on a reality show and you're called boring, that actually like technically means like you're a stable individual. And probably someone who is doing well in the real world and not fucking nuts. But then she's so offended by the word boring. And so she put the jam on the table, didn't she? She or she gave Haley the jam of the month club, which I said last week, like I would love a jam of the month. Somebody sent me a jam of the month. I like jam. Not all the time. I don't know if I'd go through it as much. Actually, a jam of the month, I'd like it like buy monthly. I feel like a jam, one jam a month. Sometimes, do you, are you guys like this? Sometimes you, you get a thing like grape jelly or something

and it sits in the fridge for two years, five years, ten years. Just recently, I'm getting a soft track here, but just recently I cleaned up the spice drawer because we're preparing for the new baby. And so I'm of course taking out my anxieties by cleaning things and organizing. And so I go in the spice drawer where you got, you know, our Italian seasonings, our chili powders. And I decided to like look on the date on all of them and I was like, I'm gonna get rid of the ones that are expired that I've been using. And some of them, it's like upwards of ten years. And I'm like, why do I have chili powder that expired in during the Bush administration? Like there's no reason why I've been traveling from home to home over the course of my adult life with that same bottle of lemon pepper. Like that's something's wrong with that. But I feel like I'm not the only one. Like does anyone gone through their spice drawer lately? Like it's shocking. It is shocking. There's things I can't find from my youth, from my even adult life that mementos and things that have been very important to me, very, very important to me.

And yet I am looking in my cabinet and I'm seeing basil from O4. And I'm like, why did I buy my own basil in O4? Like I was living at home with my parents. Like what was I doing? Did I just take the basil from my parents' house or the paprika? Why do I have paprika when I was a child? It's like I had expired in O2. Why do I have paprika in my spice drawer from O2? So anyway, I think that a jam of the month might be overextending me a little bit. But I would like a jam of like the buy monthly or try monthly. And buy monthly would mean twice, right? I mean like every other month. That's what I want. That's what I want. Speaking of it, I've also been looking at the Advent calendars. I love an Advent calendar for the holiday season. And now it feels like I'm being bombarded on my social medias with Advent calendars. And like which one do I need to buy? For the kiddos, a.k.a. myself. You know what I also, okay, you guys are annoyed. You turned in for a Roni recap. I know. You're screaming at the radio.

Like, Danny, talk about Roni. But one more thing, I did not know this. But you guys might be surprised to learn that you know polypockets. Does anyone remember polypockets? They like make adult polypockets now. What I mean is they do like these sets that are basically for millennials. Like they have a clueless polypocket. They have a Grinch polypocket. They have like these ones that aren't just for kids. They're like four millennials or whoever that are attached to their childhood using this Dalgidocope with the stressors of the world, a.k.a. myself. And so I was like somehow searching online and I come up with like a Grinch polypocket. And I thought, oh, that's cute. Like maybe I should get that for Christmas for my son. It's kind of, it's just the Grinch and it's little snowy scape. I thought it'd be fun. And it's like sold out everywhere. People are gobbling up a Grinch polypocket set. I'm like, what is going on?

And meanwhile, I can't judge because I was also searching for it. So like I'm disgusted by myself too. I don't, we don't need adult polypockets, but like here I was searching. Okay, back to her honey. So you guys are annoyed, I know. Okay, so Erin Haley fighting a pass over. And Haley's like heavily breathing, hyperventilating. She's like, and I don't know if like the marijuana was wearing off for what. But she's normally so like calm, cool and collected. But as soon as that jam came on the table, she started just like heavy breathing. And Erin's like, I don't know why you're breathing like that. And Haley's just like, and then that's when Haley calls Erin a piece of shit. She says, you're an F and piece of shit. And Erin's like, why would you call me boring? And it's like, it's not the same. And once again, my frustrating thing with Erin's side and Jessel, is there all just do things to save the show? None of it is feeling natural to me. I'm loving it. I'm loving the season. But they're not working for me because they're trying to overproduce things. And it's like Erin with the jam.

Like there's a hundred instances every single episode. And I like the way that the other women are responding is like, what's working to me? But Haley is like, she calls her, she says, I quote, you're a lion, ask snake of a bitch. And I'm a feckin' mongoose. So watch your feckin' back. I'm not the one that F with. And Erin, you're a weak ass bitch. And that kind of dynamic is so kind of funny and mismatched to me. Like that, they're arguing. Like it's not the same thing and Carol even pointed out. Like it's not equals.

And Carol's like, Erin, you can't say that. Even Erin who is friends with Carol, Carol's saying, you can't say that they're not equal. Like she called you boring. And you're talking about this thing that was like tragic and traumatic for her. So that's kind of funny to me. But the problem is, I'm noticing that this group is kind of just like a random group of people cast together, which is the case for most reality TV shows, most housewives franchises. But I think we're jumping into this level of anger and excitement too quickly. And I think that's also a result of the last two seasons being so bad and floppy and boring, is because they're trying to just jump into the action, jump into the drama. And so this fight ordinarily, if it came like three episodes later, or if I felt this group was like an actual group instead of just bunch of randos cast together, I think it would hit a little bit better. So that's my like, or at least they need to convince us that this is a group because when I looked at that table, the passive or table,

I'm like, who are all these people actually? Like how do they, how did Carol get here? How did Daisy get here? I know Daisy's friends with Si, but then it's like, she doesn't really seem to know anybody else. And then Jessel's like not really friends with, she's fighting with the other ones. I don't know, it's just like who are all these people together? How did Eric get here? How did, it's like so random. But Carol, I did like that she stuck up for Haley, and it was like, I'm not going to give you sympathy Aaron. You're on your own, your ass is on your own. So then Haley leaves, she takes off the mic, she goes outside and Si chases her, but guess what? Si chases her without any shoes or socks on. Just running down, where are they at? Where are they? Where, where I forget where they are. I know they're at Daisy's mom and dad's house. But like why couldn't, she didn't say I've put some, I don't know. That was, I don't even know what was happening, but I just saw Si, I was like, put some things over those hooves ears

because you were an in barefoot outside and she wasn't just in the front yard. She was like out on the, in the sidewalks and the streets. I don't know, it kinda made me uncomfortable, I thought like you need to put some things on those hooves. And the side, I warmed up to Si later in the episode though. I did feel bad for what she's going through, but I'm just saying, I'll like to focus on her, it's like Si, you kind of slipped on some, some things on your lower grippers to make sure, because you don't know what you're stepping on out there. And then you're going back in Daisy's house, I'm going to assume she's not putting socks and shoes back on her feet. And if I was hosting dinner, or if I was her parents, imagine Daisy's parents watching this episode. And they see size ass running around outside with no shoes or socks on and coming back into the home. What are you dragging in? What are you dragging in? And did Daisy, or did Hailey have shoes or socks on? I don't know, but all I'm thinking about is like, what are you dragging back into my house? And so if I was Daisy's parents, I'm thinking, I see it on camera like how you went outside with no shoes or socks on, and then you come back into my house?

I don't know, maybe she had hopefully, if anyone else, if any of the cast members of these shows are watching, you need at least have slippers, that's what I would do. If I was hosting a event at my home, I'd give everyone a nice pair of slippers, and I'd say, take off your shoes, take off your socks, put up the slippers on when you reach my house, and then you could take them home, it's like you're a goody bad gift. But Hailey ran outside and signed Chester, but then they all decide to eat. Jessel awkwardly gives Hailey a sponge for the makeup when she comes back inside, because Hailey, I guess, is like, okay, we're going to be fine, we're going to eat. And then we also find out Daisy, who playing this whole dinner, Daisy's got someone there who's the server, the driver, the task rabbit, his name is Dale. I'm so happy, we have someone on this show named Dale now, because do you remember Tinsley's mom was named Dale? And I missed calling her Dale, Dale. And now we have another Dale.

And it's related to Daisy, the driver, the server, the task rabbit. And look, he's a Dale of all trades. And so I'm happy that... But they were kind of making fun of him in the professional, weren't they? They were like, Dale does everything. And who is he? Is he a driver's server? But wouldn't that just be an assistant? Am I wrong about that? Am I crazy to think that his job title is probably assistant, Dale. Okay, so then they make... Or they serve some homemade Montseball soup, which is a dream. I just mentioned last week in the show how much I love Montseball soup with my favorite thing, especially if you're on my sick, I need a chicken noodle or a Montseball. But Carol, A, tells Daisy like to her face that it needs more salt. And if I was Daisy, I'd be like, fuck off. Like, fuck off, Brad Zwill. Like, you don't... Just grab some salt. Like, that's one of those seasonings that it's like, all you have to do, Carol, is say like, do you have any salt? And Carol is... She's someone who should have some better manners in there. And so it shocked me when Carol's like, it needs salt.

Like, just if anything, if there's no salt on the table, which that would be a faux pas that Daisy, I'm sure we'll get it year full from Martha's store to about. But if you didn't put the salt and pepper on the table, then you know she's got salt and pepper in the house. So don't say that the... Don't say that the Montseball soup needs salt. Like, just say Daisy, hey, do you have any salt or pepper? She, hey, you don't even have to raise your hand or anything. You just say, hey, girl, hey, Daisy, girl, this is so lovely. What you're serving us, you're serving a great soup. You made all this wonderful food. It seems like she made it all homemade or at least do it. Did somebody did? Wasn't that other woman who worked with that the house maybe made it? I don't know, but somebody made it in the home. And all you got to do is say, hey, girl, hey, Daisy, girl, this is delicious and I'm so grateful for this meal that you're serving us. Despite the fact that everybody's acting like a bunch of idiots here. And do you have any salt or pepper? Or if you need to be more detailed, you say, hey, I like my stuff salty. But I felt like it was rude for her to say, it needs salt.

And then speaking of rude, Jester was also PMO in me. Because Jester said she don't like... She thought it was a meatball. And I'm like, Jester, you know it's not a meatball. She's just trying to be quirky and silly and save the show. It's another one of those instances. And I'm like, Jester, don't be a dummy. Jester and Carol. Jester and Carol, stepping dummies. And Daisy, get behind me because they're all being an assholes. Okay, so then Carol confronts Jester about love story. Which, again, I got some people who were like reaching out to me in the DMs because that whole thing with Jester and Carol... I just, I wasn't defending what Jester said. Like, I kept, I thought I said on my recap, like Jester was being an asshole about it. Of course she was. I was only saying that like production... If anyone thinks that production didn't tell all the women that they need to talk about love story and told Carol when she was being cast, like that all was in the zeitgeist. And I believe probably the main reason that Carol's back on the show and back in the cultural zeitgeist is because of that show.

That's not to say Jester should be speaking that way about people that Carol loved and real life stuff that were people in her life. I just don't think it was just Jester. I think it was like the whole show was in on that. And that's why I think Carol just sort of like a scorer or excused herself from that one event. Like, I don't think it was right of Jester. I just think like they all knew this was happening. I felt like this was all, a lot of the love story, JFK of it all. It's like somebody had to bring it up. Somebody had to like kind of go in and talk about it. Even though it's not in real life, it's inappropriate. Everybody knew that it was inappropriate. But like production was probably at that brunch or whatever that other event was. Where Jester was going in and production was probably like, okay, can you bring up the love story stuff? Then we'll get out of here because that's what happens at these events. It's like we got to hit our marks. We got to hit all the things that we need to talk about. And then we could get out of here. And I think oftentimes the housewives are like, okay, let's just do, let's just have these conversations so we can all go home. Because until we do, we know we can't go home.

So that's what I was kind of trying to say. And maybe that's like breaking the fourth wall too much. But of course, Jester was being an asshole. And Carol, even the way she confronted Jester this week, she called her in Ding Bat and she said in the confession, she's like, I could have called her much worse. But I think the reason why Carol didn't confront her even more was because she knew it was like part of the game of it all. And she even said at the past of where she's like, it wasn't offended. She just doesn't want to think about it. But like we must remember at the time it was everywhere. Anyway. But Jester says Carol's wearing what Carol and would wear. So like again, Jester is being so insensitive, so rude. And Carol says don't ever talk about the Kennedy Kerson front of me. There was an awkward moment though that didn't make me laugh. And it was when Carol said, did you watch the show to the end? And Jester says, no, I haven't, but don't spoil it. And then she stops herself. She was saying like, no, I haven't watched it to the end. Like she didn't finish the episodes of Love Story on FX. She's like, but don't spoil it. She didn't say the word spoil, but she was like about to.

And then she like stopped herself. And it was like, in what word just world just do you like not need that spoiled? Like you should know what happened. Like I think we all know what happened at the end of that show. But it was like, oh my god, I can't believe she just said, no, I haven't. Don't spoil it. Like telling Carol not to spoil the end of Love Story on FX was just the craziest thing I think Jester has said. Like more so than the Carolyn Bissett summer or all that kind of stuff. Yeah. But even like all that Carolyn Bissett summer stuff, like that was on every, every like major magazine. I understand the insensitivity of bringing that up around Carol. I get it. But that was like every, every magazine was like Carolyn Bissett summer. JFK Jr. summer outfits, all that stuff. And so of course production the show, the cast members have to bring that up or say that. It's like they have to say Carolyn Bissett, somebody had to say Carolyn Bissett summer to Carol. And I'm sure producers were like somebody say it, Jessel, why don't you do it?

And Jessel's like, okay, I got to save this show because otherwise we're going to get canceled. And I'll be fired like the rest of them more last year. All the other Jenna Lyons, Uba, who else was the rest of them? Brynn, they were all let go. Where are they at now? And so Jessel's like fine, I'll be an asshole and bring it up. Was she an asshole? Yes. Yes, of course she was. Of course she was. And she was really pissed me off. She's the way Jessel's this whole season is the worst. Like she's just being, I kind of that Aaron was going to be the villain. And now I'm like, oh, Jessel and Aaron are fighting over the villain spot. But they do eat. And then Daisy calls out Jessel for making fun of her popcorn ceilings. And Daisy's like, I felt judged. And then Si and Aaron, they're like, well, that's all Daisy said was that she felt judged. And then Si and Aaron were like, no, let's talk about it. You're a bother. You were mad about it. Let's talk about it. And that's another instance of Si and Aaron producing the show and trying to get Daisy to get more mad about it. I think what they should have done is just kept one of those three.

I think they made a mistake by keeping all three of them. Just pick one of them. And then I don't think we would have run into this issue where all three of them are just like kind of scaring around to produce. Anyway, Daisy says they only pay $300 a month. I have the f*** chill. She pays $300 a month for that apartment with the popcorn ceilings. God bless. I'd be breaking out the jiffy of pop and celebrate and every chance I could if I got a $300 a month apartment in New York City that wasn't the size of an ant farm. Like that's crazy. Good for her. And Daisy says that size rent is 25k. 25k. Oh, 25k. In rent. And size like, I love it. I'm happier than ever. And then size says Daisy's got a shopping addiction. So she's like, Daisy could have the feeling of ceiling fixed, but she's got the shopping addiction instead. Size like, I like my 25k apartment. I'm happy right now.

I'm happy. And even Carol's like, size the angry as happy person I've ever met. And I feel bad if size going through a lump. And you know what? So if sometimes we make bad financial decisions, so you pay 25k for an apartment, which is crazy, crazy, especially when you're security on a show like this is pretty. If he at best, she should have, especially after all those people were fired. A side, just a little air in her hanging on by the skin of their teeth. So I don't think you should be thrown away 25k a month. So am I wrong? I don't know. Did Uba and Jenna Lines and Brandon, wherever else is fired, they get fancy apartments. They're probably fact if they did. Anyway, let's take a break here. Gotta come back. Got so much more to discuss, especially Erica and the, Oh, an island of it all. Anyway, thank you to Acast and we'll be right back. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, we need to talk about something that's not super glamorous, but unfortunately it's very real.

And we're back. I don't get really upset about things, but this release of setting to me the way it was treated in my own town. In my own town. In my own town. What is happening with Luian? Okay, so then at the Passover, back at the Passover, Erica Ding Ding Ding's invites everyone to her own island.

And Jessal says she was there three months before, which is when they were probably casting the show and production was like, hey, get to know some of the, get to know one of these people. And they're probably doing some test shooting. And they're doing a cast trip to Erica's own island. And I'm very excited about that. I'm very excited. Unfortunately, I'm excited. But it is a red flag to me when somebody just owns their own island. And I don't think that should be something we blow over because I just don't know that I don't know. Erica seems like the most wonderful person so far. She's beautiful. She seems like normal in a way that I would want to, like a kind of person I want to be friends with. She seems just like vibrant and lovely. And even the one scene we saw with her in her husband, they seemed great. Filthy rich, but nice and great for filthy rich, like they seem like nice people, right? But then I just don't want us to overlook the fact that they own their own island. I just think that's important because I don't know how do I say this. I don't know that there can be good people who own their own island.

I don't think so. Am I wrong about that? I wish there were. I don't, obviously I would love that. I would love it to live in a world where people who own their own island are good humans. I love that. And I would love for Erica and the husband to prove me wrong. So maybe we will be proof wrong. And by the end of the season, at the end of the next season, or the end of the season after that, I'll be like, wow, Erica and her husband are just good, rich, rich people. But I don't know if I feel that way right now. And so my spidey senses are tingling and I'm saying who owns their own island? What kind of person? Do good people own their own islands? I know a lot of good people. And I don't think they own their own islands. And I know a lot of bad people that I see from a distance. And you know what they own? They're own islands. So it's something that I am a clocking. And I'm going to clock that island since until I get confirmation that they're good or bad people right now. I'm happy to watch them go to this own island.

And I'm happy to take the cast there. And it looks like a beautiful island. And it's going to be a great cast trip. And I'm excited about that. And I think it's great that we have Erica here. She seems filthy rich. I like filthy rich housewife. But something to think about. I know what I will. So they go on this, they're going to go on this cast trip. No husbands are invited. Then they all leave the past. And her Hailey says it was the worst seater she's ever been to. Then we cut to Carolyn, her friend, Eric, the sky Eric. Can I tell you a story? This stays between us. Sister Circle. Sister Circle. But I at BravoCon. It's actually just embarrassing for me. Because this Eric guy, him and I went to the same high school. And we weren't in the same grade. And I didn't know him. The soul in high school. But at BravoCon, he was there. I think like with Carol or something. And I went and said, I said hello. Because I was like, oh my god, we went to the same high school. And he had been on Rooney before. And I'd seen him on social media with Carol.

And maybe Dorenda or something. And I was like, oh my god, we went to the same high school. Even though we didn't know each other, I thought it was a fun thing or whatever. And then he asked what you're like graduated. And then I asked what he graduated. And he was younger than I was. And I never felt more old. He could not have been less interested in me, first of all. Which is fine. I understand it. But also, I was like so excited about that connection. And he was just like, oh, so what year were you? And I'm like, oh four. And he was like much later than him. And I was like, okay, bye. And I was like, so old. Anyway, Carol and him are friends. He seemed lovely. I don't, we didn't have a long conversation or anything. So there's no shade or anything. But I was just like, wow, I feel old. You ever do that? I thought we were going to have this great connection. Same school. And we're in this kind of ten-gen chile. Or set the right word, peripheral, housewife world.

And it was like, nope. Anyway, they're doing a gala. And Erica can't go. She's going into Devil Wars product, premier. And she says, any inviteer, any halfway. And Carol says, it's not like Merrill has streep invited you. But she's not showing up to the gala. Hopefully she wrote Carol at check. Because Carol only invited her because she's rich as fucking Ones or an island. And if you own your own island, guess what? You better be open up the wallet, loosen up the purse strings, to donate to whatever gala's people invite you to. You just listen, you just write a check. You say, Carol, I'll give you a check. Because you own your own island. So you don't need, you have enough money. You could, you donate to the arts or to wherever. It's like nobody wants to donate to the arts these days. But anyway, she did, I guess, go to the Devil Wars product to premiere. Which I liked. Did you guys see Devil Wars product? I enjoyed it. But, although when I think about it, I don't really really remember anything from it. Like I saw, and that's what I feel like with all these movies are these days. You watch it, and I don't remember not one thing from it. And my take on that is because everything is so kind of algorithmic based,

and everything is tried to be, they kind of note the shit out of every script and everything, and they added it out to just try to appeal to the mass audience. But then you don't get any of the kind of interesting weirdness to these movies anymore. So I enjoy Devil Wars product too. But it's like, do I remember anything about it? No, I don't. Okay, so then we see Si and her aunt. And what's her name? Not An Siu. Is it An Siu? No. Why am I saying An Siu? No, I have an An Siu. Maybe I'm thinking of that. Anyway, they talk about David the husband. And I don't really know much about David the husband, so I don't care too much. But Siu was offended because they were like kind of on the outs already. The husband then they went out for her birthday, and then she said she's offended because he made her pay for the dinner. And the mom, the mom didn't like her husband for a while. But I kind of didn't, she sort of lost me at this for a minute because I thought,

I understand what she was saying. If they were like dating, I would understand of like the person you're dating paid for dinner with your credit card. Like that is kind of unforgivable to me. But in marriages, usually you kind of share money. I think it's great. Susie Orman always says like, you have your own separate bank accounts. But I thought you're always supposed to have your own separate ones and then your own together ones. But I don't know like, I don't know. I just, I didn't really feel, am I crazy for thinking that? I just thought like, okay, like, well you're married and have kids. And he paid with your credit card. And maybe like the bigger issue is because he's not working or mooching off her or doesn't have any sort of drive or something. And it's like that makes sense to me. But yeah, I didn't understand. But then I felt so bad for Sike because she was talking about her mom. She sent the mom, the mom went to a shelter. And it was because I guess the mom was at Size House and then mom had substance abuse issues. And Size had come home one time and like the house was a mess.

And she's like, you got to go to the shelter. Which is so hard. I think like dealing with a loved one who has substance abuse issues. My hair was out to anyone. I mean, it's just because I think especially with like a mom or a kid or you, you, you innately have such a strong love and bond with them. Even if you have your differences or whatever, but it's like you know, you've known them for so long. You know that good in them. And sometimes those substances just take hold and you see how they're not themselves anymore. But like, just makes me sad. I don't know. I could cry just thinking about it. I know I'm extra emotionally, but I can't. I can't even, I feel like I'm extra, extra empathetically. And yeah, other my anxieties have gotten better. You remember last week I was like an anxious mess and like really losing it. And I feel like my anxieties have turned to excitement now with the baby girl coming anytime now. We don't know when, but anytime. And so I feel like my, I've weirdly had a shift, which is good. And you know what?

I gotta be honest with you. It kind of culminated in the Real House's Orange County recaps because I was so anxious. And it wasn't because of Orange County housewives, but I was feeling like so bleak with the state of the world and anxious, but baby coming and all that stuff. And then I would get on the microphone to talk Orange County and it was like just a step too far. I smid too far for me. And then I gave that up and all of a sudden the anxiety turned to excitement and it's like I feel better about myself. And I'm like, what is that? That's like sick that it's so tied to that. And I don't think it was exactly tied to that, but I think there's like, that's where I felt it the most for some strange reason. Anyway, moving on. Jessal, speaking of husbands, I guess, who aren't working. Jessal and Povett. He's not working. There's so many red flags here too because she's got a stylist, which I'm assuming is a stylist for the show, but a stylist are very expensive as they should be to put together these looks for the TV show and I understand it. But it's like troubling to me that he's not working. I don't really think Jessal's working.

Because she have a job outside of the show. I guess she's maybe doing some influencer stuff and the show. So that is a job. I'm not saying it's not a job. It's a worry because this is not a stable job. They're asked in a second. So like I said earlier, they're all hanging in by a threat. And he says he's working on a few things, but can't talk about it now. He was in corporate. Now he's on a food journey. And it doesn't seem like, I understand he really likes food. But it feels to me. It doesn't feel like he always wanted to be a food influencer. His whole life was like dreaming of that. It felt to me like his wife got on TV and he thought, okay, I don't like my corporate career. So what can I do with my wife on TV now? Maybe I could be a food influencer. But I'm sorry to say, I don't want that. It's just too mean to say. But I don't know if he has the ed factor. Does he have the ed factor? It's not, it's like impossible to be an influencer these days in general. If you talk to most influencers, that's why you read all these articles about how

these people who made content creation and stuff have had to pivot lately. Because it's not the same as it was three, four, five years ago. So the idea that Pobet is like starting an influencing career now in the food space with his current ed factor level, I think is kind of like troubling. And I hope, Jussel and him sit down and maybe like find a new, maybe even I'm not saying go back to corporate. I'm just saying maybe it's like start a food line or I don't know. But food influencing for Pobet. I'm like, are people going to like go to his page? And I also think we, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. And maybe it'll work out in good frame. I hope it does work out for him. I'm not saying I want it to not work out. It just worries me and scares me that we see Jussel talking to him. And he's like, I think I've got something in the works. But I can't talk about it. And I'm like, Pobet. Okay, then make it to Haley's house, Haley's mom's house, and they're bird watching. And I love a bird watching. Remember recently I really wanted to get into bird watching because I saw a book about

it at Barnes & Noble. And unfortunately the book was very expensive and I did not purchase it. But I did, but I did read a few pages at the bookstore. And I thought I was going to get really into bird watching. And I kind of still do on to. I think I could do it. You know, like I'm, I think I'm ready for a hobby and I'm not going to have time to do it with the new baby. I can barely have time to do anything right now. And I only have one. I can't even imagine having two hundred two pray for D. But I would like to do something because I got the tarot cards. I think that might be doable. I might become a tarot card reader. I did buy the tarot cards. So I'm like, dangerously close to being a tarot card reader. But also, I don't know how it works and I haven't done a lesson on it. But I'm like, curious about it. And then bird watching would be next on the list. And then I also still want to be a gardener. Like I would like to have a garden. But that's like down the road. And I'm like, going to really lean into my green thumb. But right now my thumb is not green.

It's a totally opposite color. It's a yellow thumb or whatever. I don't know. It's not a green thumb. So then anyway, they're a bird watching. And Haley still mad at Aaron. And she says something. She called her spam. She's like, I should have called her spam instead of GM. She sort of lost me there. But at least she was making effort. You know, she's she's swung for the fences. She's shot for the moon and landed not amongst the stars, but amongst maybe the clouds or amongst something close to earth. She shot for the moon and landed amongst the mid-sized tree in my backyard. And so unfortunately that one didn't work. But you know what? Sometimes they land and sometimes they don't. But the mom says she still traumatized by all the Johnny Kate plus eight stuff. And the mom's obviously mess very excited about her. Because I love to trouble some relationship on these shows. Obviously we mentioned Duel earlier. And so we got Muzzy over there on Real House's Salt Lake City. You know every time Bronwyn sits down and say, well, mom, you know,

I got this new boyfriend. This new model boyfriend is the inspiration. And then we just see like Muzzy's asked just looking at her off side-eyed and mean. And so I love a problematic mom on these shows. And this one seems right on up there. Right on up there in the Mount Everest of moms. Remember they had filmed, did I tell you guys this? I had heard a rumor. I can neither confirm or deny this. But I did hear that they did film a pilot with like the moms of Bravo. And they had who did they have on? I think Dale was part of it. It didn't go. They didn't pick it up. But I would have loved to see it. It was like the opposite of next gen. It's like the old gen. And that's what they should call it. And if they want to reboot that idea, I think they should do it. Because I wouldn't mind seeing some of these moms. The older generation of moms getting together. But they did film something. I don't know if it was a pilot or allegedly. Maybe, maybe not. But they did. And it didn't go. It didn't go. They needed to. But they should reboot it now and call it old gen. Because that was before next gen.

And I see. So now they just call it old gen. And it could be like a spin off of next gen. And you know what all they got to do is get one of the next gen. Remember, who's the one, you know, the Zolciac? This is a bad example. But you know, the Zolciac family's got a lot going on. And Ariana Zolciac is on next gen. All they have to do is have like, remember her grandma was like a mess. Didn't the grandma have problems with Kim or something? It's like, cast the young kids or when they do next gen LA. Then have their grandma's appear. And it could be like a backdoor pilot for the old ladies. And I need that. I want that. I want that. Okay, where are we at here? Last place. But the mom's a mess. I'm very excited. But oh, and the mom keeps saying like how all this stuff with the John and K plus eight, it's like the mom's making all about herself. And Haley's like, actually, mom, you were the one who calls all that grief for me. And the mom's like, well, I'm still traumatized by it. And it's like, excuse me, I beg your pardon. But let's see.

Then Haley says, let's see, it was orchestrated by her mom. And then her mom is like, at this point, we need to move past it and say, what do you mean you need to move past it? Let's take one more break here. And then we're going to come back. And we got to talk about Martha Stewart. Woo. Woo. Okay. We'll be right back. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's just like a quick little scene with Martha and the publicist and I was so excited about this. I literally had the chills. And then Daisy eventually arrives, but it was such a great scene when Martha was giving the toddler boy a sweater and calls him her and then the wrong name. It was exactly like what I need from the housewives. It's like it's so out of touch, so awkward. I need more Martha on this show. I need to know the publicist. They need to make up the publicist because she's got a story too. Everyone has a story. And there is a world where Martha and the publicist could be joining that old gen NYC that I was just talking about before the break. They would be in the right age group. Martha's 80 something, isn't she? 80? Which God bless, but that's what we need on this show. They seem like a perfect, this is like a backdoor pilot for them. And I'm on board. I'm setting a season pass on my peacock for that.

But Daisy arrives. Martha suggests Daisy has six width of a driver to save money. And Martha's got a crazy calendar. She's like, Daisy, I need you here, here, here, here, here. And she's mad that Daisy's going on the girls trip. Also did you guys notice how the publicist sounded like Martha? They had the same cadence and voice. And I think that's interesting when friends start to sound alike. I was into it. But Daisy, they talk about camp. She's like, I spend $11,000 on the camp for the kid. And Martha's like, oh, that sounds nice. And then I got to work on my Martha impression. When she was given the toddler water, so you need some water. Come take this water. Come take this water, little girl. And then mom's like, it's actually my boy. His name is Dennis. And she's like, OK, Peter. She got the wrong name and gender. I love Martha. You know what? It's OK. And it's what it is. You know what? Even having a baby, too, it's funny. Because obviously, all babies sort of look alike.

But it's funny. Some of you, anytime you have a baby in the stroller at the store, someone would be like, I love your little boy or girl. Like they just, everyone's just guessing. Like nobody knows. And whatever. OK, so then Carol, her gala, oh, wait, one more thing about Martha and the public says, Daisy's trying to get an invite to FIFA. And Martha said something about like, she can't get an invite. And she's like, the tickets are like 40 to 60k or something. And Daisy's like, that seems expensive. Like, how do people go? And Martha's like, they don't. And it was just like, so I like that Martha was just no nonsense about it. She's like, yeah, regular people can't go to the soccer game. They're just not going. And that's a problem with sports. I don't know if you're paying attention to youth sports. But all this, the way private equity is ruining everything, literally everything. Everything's worse. Everything. Every restaurant's worse, every product's worse. Now, even the kids' sports leagues are worse. Because now, everything's like travel sports for the kids. So it's like, you can't just have play regular free baseball.

And do well. You have to be rich to play baseball now, or in order to advance in the good leagues. And that's a problem for another time. But unfortunately, private equity is ruining our entire world. And we're all just sitting there watching it. OK, moving on. Haley walks in and doesn't say hi to Aaron at the gala. And Aaron's offended. And it sets Haley off. Aaron, Haley and Aaron, the whole entire gala, are just arguing. Even through the auction, when there's supposed to be quiet, they're just arguing. Charles is getting pissed about it. Meanwhile, Jennifer Tilly is also there. Love Matilli, whose friends with Carol. Do you remember back in the day, it wasn't Carol part of the first crossover. It was like the Beverly Hills gals had gone to New York. And it was the first crossover event that I remember on these shows. But it was lovely seeing Jennifer Tilly. And Haley had a very awkward moment with Jennifer Tilly. She kept saying, I'm going to play the banjo's on Tilly's tips. And it was inappropriate touching her.

Just imagine somebody coming up and just touching you like that. And I was like, Haley, I've been defending you this whole season, but I know you're stoned. And probably don't even know where you are. And you're just seeing Jennifer Tilly. You probably just don't even know what you're looking at. But you can't just be banging on them like a banjo. She calls them a banjo, but she met in Bongo. But it was very inappropriate. And Tilly took a, as is, like she... That's why Tilly's a friend of. Because if she would have lost it, she probably would be getting a diamond over there on Beverly Hills. But Tilly's just... she's having fun. She's having a good time. And she's like, you know what, this is what it is. This is what these shows are. And so I do love my Jennifer Tilly. But the fact that she's like not arguing about it or fighting about it, I think that's what makes her such a good friend of and not main cast member. But I do miss her on Beverly Hills, even though I hated last season Beverly Hills. Moving on, Jessel arrives. Aaron and Haley arguing the auction speech. Carol doesn't... STFU. And then a stranger yells at them too.

The stranger who yelled at the table was also like focusing on Jessel. And what was interesting to me was that the stranger was yelling at them. And I was like, I think she just wants to have a moment that stranger. Like I think she was trying to get on the cast. I don't know who she was, but she's like, hey, this is inappropriate. And I was like, girl, be quiet. There's a camera crew and this is house size. So let Carol handle it or let somebody on the cast handle it. Like, stop trying to have your moment. I don't know why I got mad at her. I felt like defensive of the Real House is New York women as they were arguing for the charity auction. For some reason, I did. Like I wanted a cast member to say it. I didn't want this woman to try to have her moment. I don't know who she was. And God bless, maybe she was just one to calm everyone down and raise money for the arts or something. I don't know. But also at the same time, you know what I want to say this woman? If those two weren't arguing at the Scala, then this one have even been shown on TV. And the fact that it was shown on TV is because they were arguing at the thing and perhaps probably raised more money

because it was shown on TV. So it's like the necessary evil to raise more money for the charity. So I wanted to say that woman, hey, if everybody was quiet at this table, this event would not have aired. They would have cut it like they cut all the other stuff. They cut. They're not gonna air it. They would say, oh, that Gala was boring. Nothing happened. The whole cast was even there. So they would have cut it. So she should thank her lucky stars that they were arguing. And then Jesslyn Carol are having fun, band to which I liked. That was interesting to me. And another thing of proof that I think Carol and Jesslyn were both in on the fact that Jesslyn kept saying Carol and Bissett summer and all that stuff. That was another example of why I think that was all planned about production planned. Because look at how they were budding up to each other. Haley and Aaron do sort of make up. I do like these two together. I like that feud. Next time they go to the private island, there's some insurance fraud stuff about Aaron's vacation home. There's a rainstorm.

Guys, I'm proud of them. I'm proud of them for having a decent season. I can't believe it. I can't believe I'm saying that. They're having an okay season. It's six shocking to me. But good for them, proud of them. Finally got it together, fired half the cast. The remaining cast is terrible, but the new ones are great. And I'm liking Carol back. Good for them. Good for them. That's the end of the episode. We'll be back later this week with the Salt Lake City recap. And I'd like to remind everyone that baby coming is imminent. So if there's a recap that's late or does not come one week, just know that it's because probably we are busy. But I'm gonna try not to miss anything. I just wanted to mention that. Because if that happens, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna leave the hospital so that I could record an episode talking about Bronwyn. Or you know, I gotta prioritize. And so I will get back to it and we'll catch up as soon as possible. But I'm not taking time off exactly. I'm just, there might be an episode or one or two

or a week or something. But other than that, it's like we're not taking time off. We're just gonna be plowing through these episodes. But we may miss an episode or two. That's all I'm saying.
