So he probably throw it away but without further ado. And before we bring up hold on here. The four we bring up Mike North. I've got to do this. I saw Caleb Williams the other day. I don't know man. You're in the city of Chicago. And you're screaming now Tom there says he doesn't believe he's going to be out multiple weeks. Let's bring in our friends. The legend himself. Mr Chicago. He is my friend Mike North and he joins us now. How you doing brother? I feel like I got to work for NASA to just get out of here in holidays. I got buttons. I got everything. I'm moving this. And I are talking. Yeah. You're mission control. Get ready. You know the whole thing. You know. So yeah, everything's going good. Get ready for the game. We had an injury. We thought we lost the kid.

1:05I thought he was in Vietnam. You know the kid screamed. I had all of everybody panicked and the whole test. Because the kids. In Greenland city. A city. I'm a fan of him. I was going to pretend it wasn't safe. The kids playing at thown gate. They were pretty dark. They would find the city in woods. I think I like him. I like Caleb Williams. I think he got scared. Oh, but when they say, well, he's got to be tough. He's a quarterback and a league. Yeah, but there's different degrees of toughness, folks. Michael Spinks and Mike Tyson were both heavy weights. Don't ask, don't ask me who was tougher. Okay, and it's mentally who's mentally tougher. Johnny United's, West physically and mentally tough. He's one of the most mentally tough quarterbacks and they played hard these guys.

2:06What Mike gets Chicago, man, there's LA, you don't have to have that persona. I agree. This is Chicago. Well, we just had a guy get hit in the face of a hundred mile an hour fastball, Breggman, and he batted today. He played today. So that's Chicago to me. That's exactly right. I brought it up on my AM1000 show. Here's a guy that was an inch away. If it goes higher, he's Tony Coneguero. And I remember folks. So yeah, it didn't look good. That's all I'm going to say. And if he plays this week, he wasn't hurt. I think he could, I think in my heart, he could almost play, but like, chance it and why make him look even weaker. Because it hurt his place in his persona in Chicago. I would have left. You know what, you know what, aggravates me. I think people respect him. I respect him. I've grown the love the guy. And then I hear people say, oh, people are hating on him.

3:09I hate that phrase. No, you're allowed to love somebody. You're allowed to like somebody. You're allowed to hug somebody and still have disagreements or still don't like the way that they portray themselves. And I thought, bring into card out, look, somebody said you never played. Sure I did. I pulled hamstrings. Everybody, you a degree one degree two. I had a bad one once. Took me six weeks. And I had another one. It took me three weeks. Bottom line is he overreacting. He cried. And I said this last week, men cry and women fight now. And that was a perfect example. What's he crying? You put the towel over your head. That was the portrayal of a man that was told he was going to be out for the year. I thought it was her squirrel over again. I don't know. 1950s, said he's taking some. I just wanted to head. I like him. And who hit it? You know, don't even play. Gil McDougal of the New York.

4:09Look at you, man. I appreciate you more than you know, Mike. Mike, you know what? Let me ask you this though. Don't you think you have the coach, though, to figure out the Rubik's Cube? I'm not tonight. I love that Johnson, but he got humbled. That's a guy that's talking. You know what I didn't hear at the post game press conference? Well guys, first of all, it's on me. I'd like to take responsibility and we got to coach him better. No. You know what I heard? We had too many penalties in the first half. We had too many turnovers. No, no, every coach word. So he put it on the players. And in my eyes, he didn't exactly focus on himself. He just put it that way. Where was him? He's been telling everybody he was going to put up 37 points again. You know, he's been, he's the guy walking around with the shirt off.

5:09He got humbled and people want to beat him. And I know Philadelphia. I have everybody that you're ready for the show. Anyway, I do. I do know that Philadelphia has a revenge game in their hearts here because we handed it to him last year. Too 81 on the ground, Mike. Yeah, well, if the guy could hold on to the ball, we should have won that game last week, 20 to 9. Swift, what's the ball in the ground at the one yard light? Mike, are you surprised with the run game with Monongai in the way that Swift has run the ball? I mean, they are so good at running the football. Brian Forrest put five in the box last week. Kind of put that defense there in front of those guys. Kind of stood it up a little bit. But in your opinion, Mike, I mean, that's the game on Monday night, right? Well, the game, the game was when Swift fumbled at the goal light. We go, that was the end. I said, I said, my God, you cannot do that after you signed a three year extension. But we also had a center and I go back to the days of Mike Pyle, Olin Krutz.

6:13I mean, some pretty good centers in my Chicago bare fan lifetime. And I never saw center get four penalties. Mike's good on the air too, by the way. Yeah. I mean, but I'm just telling you that and then you had this kid, CM Rouse, she was a tight end, who's our third tight end. And he had all sorts of bad play penalties. I didn't block the blocker that blocked the field goal. So it was a bad game. I think from top to bottom, from the coaches all the way to the players, but the players that they perform, we won that game 20 to 9. How come coast in love, and has one catch so far? Wow. I'll tell you, it's good to see my guy Tyler Warren back because I liked him. He got hurt last year. And he's the guy I wanted. We passed on him. We took Loveland. We'll see what happens this week. But yeah, the tight ends have been disappointing. You don't have to concentrate on DJ Moore anymore because he's left. We don't have a receiver, folks. You can tie it with anybody in Chicago. You're not getting it like this.

7:14We don't have a receiver that is a one. A doomsday. Rumba Dooms is not a one in here. Not a one in my world. No, he's a two. Last year he wasn't a one and we've DJ Moore. We never replaced him. So you're asking everybody now to move up a little bit. Luther Berford and all these other guys. So they haven't gotten it done, but it's still early. It's still early. And we'll see what happens. But just sure his necklace is good news. But Case Keenum, I saw this and folks check out North to North this week. And eight and two in college football. And in nine right now, yeah, I got off the filkins after week two. I took the packers like a moron last night. But hey, Mike. Yeah, 498 last night. Oh, God. 8:16248 to 389 for 63.8 percentage, 2500 yards, 15 touchdowns, nine interceptions. What I'm trying to tell you is so impressive. But the last time he started, George Patton was a corporal. OK, so World War II was just ending. So that's the conundrum. I heard that today. I heard that word I wanted to use it. Conundrum that we are in right now. Man, dude. But I'll tell you what. Are you waiting it, Mike? I like the bears. Why do you like the bears, Mike? Because Caleb Williams for all the screaming and the ranting, I think he played. I thought he played like average. Below average last week, 135 yards in the air, bad interception, screaming like he just got shot from the depository center with Lee. Mike, you could be on the something here because it's 4.5. You lose a starting quarterback.

9:17That number would be double digits. Yeah, it's only 4.5 and it's 41.5. The last time Kingdom started, Christ was a child for Christ's sake. I mean, it also, I mean, how do you disguise real? They talk about Joe Flackle. Joe Flackle has played, had more starts than this guy. And Joe Flackle, I think just got signed. He got a phone number. I'm not sure if he's got it. All right. Well, you more concerned with the quarterback or your defense? Listen, you know my guy, Jaylen Hertz. I had Tennessee last week plus seven. I want to thank my friend because he's, I'm the only friend he's got on this show. I don't know if he even knows that. Well, all the highly recent, they're 2 and 0. What? He's the only reason they're 2 and 0. I'm telling you folks, I've been with Jaylen and the big sales and I call him big sales. That's right. 10:18He's the one that scares me on the field for the Philadelphia Eagles. But the Bears can play with them and I thought, I think they're going to run the football. You may have the big name on the injured list. Well, listen to this with the Eagles. They got a longer one. The Tink Bigsby did not practice. Dallas-Gyder did not practice. 11:19And the only reason that they're moving things and they're moving the ball and winning games is because Ritch is making plays. On third and nine, it's not sustainable. He's not. Their offensive line is nowhere near what it was three years ago. No. I mean, it seems change. And the fact is I give the coaching staff. I give how he rolls me. I give Jaylen a lot of credit because the team has changed quite a bit. I mean, so for them to continue to perform, look, as long as they don't lose hurts. And I said this, I mean, look at, and AJ Brown looked what happened in New England last week. I mean, he didn't play. I never said that AJ Brown was bad. He was just wrong for the Philadelphia Eagles to move forward with. And I'm so happy with the way the Eagles play because of this show because I have no animosity towards the Eagles. I go back to Tommy McDonald, OK? And all those guys and Chuck Bed, Narik and Norm Snead don't get me going on tearing

12:20up Harold Carmichael, the Angela Roman Gabriel. Oh, I got the chills. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so it's going to be a great game. I think the Bears can beat him. But Jaylen, but hurts is on that. Is it low scoring, Mike? It should be. It should be low scoring. I know the number has been going down. It's been going down because of the injury to the quarterback, you know, to our quarterback. And you know, the Eagles and the Bay, I could easily see 20 to 13, 20 to 14. I could with these two guys. But before you have the winner, we don't have, we don't have a Philly Godfather. So I'm going to talk to you about week three in a minute, but hey, dude, congratulations. The South Ciders, they put the ticket. They made the postseason and the freaking Cubs are in. Congratulations. Yeah, first time since 2020, but not many times this has happened.

13:22We got both teams in the playoffs. We got the Bears now with all this, all this controversy. Then the Polps on the plane today and they said to the Pope, they said, hey, he had the correct reporter, you know, a couple of years ago, they had the most losses. He goes two years in a row. He says to them. And then the guy goes, what did you have a hand in this? And it's sure as hell looks like somebody had a hand in it because last year they were terrible. The Chicago Pope reversed the Juju. He said no comment. He said when they asked him if he caused the miracle. I never drugged my lifetime. I never drugged in my life. I mean, he called up in a say on Charlie Kaminsky and said, listen, we're going to put these boys in the playoffs here. And I want you to throw a good one up here. Mike, this team was picked to lose 96 ball games this year. They were picked. They had been over under were 66, Dan. And that's right. It wins. And I said, it's going to go under because they had been 40, 40, you know, they, they

14:24were horrible. Nobody. And now I mean, look, they got an easier road to the playoffs through the, then the Cubs do the Cubs. You know, you, you got teams like the Dodgers, the Braille, the Phillies, Milwaukee. I can't believe how good they are. In the old days, and I said this today on my radio show in the old days before the wild cup. Or when they only had one wild card in each, you know, the Cubs finished 13 games or behind Milwaukee. In the old days, instead of them having champagne baths, we'd be gone. Who can we get to manage this team to try to beat Milwaukee? People forget that. And yeah, I mean, the meds weren't supposed to be in the playoffs. Chicago melted down. That's right. At the end of the year for the dinner. If you had a wild card that comes with a made it, they would have made it. They would made it. So, so it's so funny to say they got goggles on and they're walking around.

15:25And like in the seven days, you'd be gone. Well, I think this could be consoles last year. Yeah, we couldn't beat Milwaukee. Yeah, you could win 100 games for the second end of the vision. And you're you're going home. Yeah. But you know, the white socks got only 87 wins. I mean, that division's so bad. So they got a bit of chance to go through the American. We've been the Cubs have a knocking off those teams in the nest. Like I think I think the white socks and the Cubs that the pitching is not good enough. That's just me. I hope I pray we have a miracle and we can hit. I know we can hit, but pitching usually dominates in the playoffs. So we'll see what happens. All right. I'm going to ask you about week three and some of the games here. I love it. Go ahead because I got into my head. Philly's not here. I got a big weight on my shoulder. That guy's on fire. Let's go. Here we go. Yeah. So the chargers have to be one of the biggest disappointments there. They're sitting at 0 and 2. The bills are getting out to a great start so far on the season. Alan looks great. This is the battle of the O and two's here. I really thought that Colts might do something this year. And there's a Texans sitting at O and two. It's in Indianapolis and get this. I don't care where I get it. Used and favored by one and a half and 42 and a half. What do you like here? I'm taking used to automatic. You know, I just think look, the reason Houston lost the first two games. It's because of the two quarterbacks they face Josh Allen and the kid from and Burles. OK, this guy here, I like him, but he always makes a stupid mistake. The kid from Indy, the quarterback always makes a standing down. Daniel Jones.

It's in Pittsburgh. Cincinnati's favored by 3 and a half. Burles got 461 and 3 touchdowns so far. And it's there at Pittsburgh and the numbers 42 and a half. What do you like here? 24:37Raider's Saints, yeah. I'm going to tell you something right now. I know I'm replacing right now a legend in the Philly Godfather. And I can't get with him. I don't know who he'd take, but I'm telling you right now. I'm a believer. I'm a Kirk Cousins fan. And I think they knew early in camp. I'm about to take the wide we take my mom and those are. Why we take because they got a pick. They could have taken anybody. And I think this guy Kirk Cousins wasn't back from his injury fully last week last year. And I don't understand the hyper-Noranz. I don't. I had this. I had this as a pick again. And since I'm getting points, I'd take the winners. You know what? I got to show you something here about the boy you just got through talking about here. Jackie? No. He was a Miami guy. He is a hurricane. Get this here though. Oh. Kirk Cousins, if I gave you this, the guys I love him.

25:37Kirk Cousins has thrown for 45,000 yards. He's got 6,000 completion or 6,000 attempts, 4,000 completions. He's 90 and 70 as a quarterback in the NFL. It is thrown for 300 touchdowns. And only 134. I'm going to tell you, man. That's pretty good. That guy had a Super Bowl ring. This guy would be close to being a Hall of Fame football player. Wow. First of all, where they got him. I mean, look, I don't know what he had. They got him in the fifth round in Washington. And remember, they got RG3 and he was supposed to be like a seat belt. And Mike, and what's his name? Mike Shanahan hedged his bets and said, let me think to get from Michigan State. I'm going to tell you something. Kirk Cousins, I remember him at Michigan State. OK. I always liked the guy. There was something about him. And he's, I don't know what happened in Atlanta. I don't.

26:38But I think you're right. I don't think he was healthy. No, I don't think he was healthy. And I think they tried to rush him. And they took other people. You know, Michael Pennex, who by the way, can't play. So, oh, maybe he can, but who knows? We'll find out. We'll find out. One game doesn't make it. One game doesn't make it. I think he made some couple of early mistakes at other things with the capital. I just think my bottom line is I think Kirk Cousins getting points anywhere. It's fine. I don't think nor is patch swilling back. Is Sam Mills back? Why? What if I missed it? Is Jubilee Dunbar back at Ysr Siever? Got him in the 19. That's my favorite name. Look him up, folks. People walk around with a region. It's a real deal. It's a real deal. Why was it Denver once? How you doing? Because I was able to breathe for two days, but how's everything going? Dude, it's a real thing. Wow. What do you got? I'd stay away from this game because it's so hard to stay off the Rams. And I know what to do. I've asked you about these games. He says, that's the one thing he goes. He says, that's the guy Ben Johnson's genuine. He's perfect. He said he's perfect for Chicago. That's right. We, you know, the thing that we got to see now, and every coach in the league wants some beat them. OK, just because of last year. And you know, look what it did. That came really ruined the Packers. Oh, they're finished. I mean, they have a rebounded from from that. Mike, I've never seen. I've never seen the Packers killed at Lambo like I was shocked. They're so spoiled out there. I mean, they, you know, I know their players are over. Rogers is head more head for MVP's, and he won 1-1-DM Super Bowl. Same with Farve. I know they're over. But they, they do win consistently every year. And it's not, it's usually a 10-11 win season. Those days are gone for now. Let me take this. Mike, that, that Packer team in the last 40 years,

33:52they've had three quarterbacks, take 97% of the snaps. So you're right. They're always in the room, and they're always there because they get that position. They never can get through. There was an understanding while he was the offensive coordinator that when Wellington wanted to move off a Howe, that Vince would go back to New York. Well, they started winning obviously. So all of a sudden they moved off a Howe and they called Vince up and they went and had a lunch. They met each other in Green Bay. And they were sitting there and he was sitting there listening to Wellington. This is true story. And they're at dinner and he looks at Wellington and he goes, they were going to play him that weekend in a championship game. They were supposed to become the New York Giants head coach. He looked at Wellington and he goes, excuse me, I have to go to Bathambe right back. He walked out the back door and left Wellington,

37:54Maris sitting there at the dinner table. The guy comes back and says, yeah, Vince told me to tell you that he's going to kick your ass tomorrow championship game and he's not going to New York. He's staying in Green Bay. Let's say, anybody that saw the movie Ted, okay. Vince Lombardi dressed up like the man dressed for coaching, like the manager of a grocery store. You know, and that's how they should do. I'd like to see the coaches come back and dress any way they want, okay. And so we're in the, and he's the one guy if you walk through into a barn, looked around, and said, I don't think I'll go sit by him. He just had a, but what a mind. I think if you're gonna, you know, bella check. You know, he's got a, you know, people say he's the best coach ever, okay, seven or three in the Super Bowl, I get it. Bill Walsh, one barbie, Shula, these guys could all make a case.

38:55They can all me, and you know that as well. Joe Gibbs, Joe Gibbs, two, Joe Gibbs, who won with three different quarterbacks folks. Mike, I have so many Lombardi stories that my uncle told me that there's a president Kennedy one. So you know the job that Vince always coveted. You know what the job was, right? He wanted to coach Army. He coveted that red-branked job. He wanted to coach Army. He was a great West Point. Come on. Back in the day, you gotta remember, college football was bigger than profile. Hey, you know what, it's still huge now. Army, but back then, you know, like, there was like, there was no one. Right, they were TV stars, right? So he goes in, you know, he always coveted that job. And they always thought because he was Italian, that the reason why when he was 59 years old, that's when he got that job, he was 56 or something like that. He always thought it was because he was Italian. So the job came open. The job came open. Guess who called him and told him Vince,

39:55you're being offered the Army West Point story. Dance, but the Kennedy, yeah. Yeah, Kennedy. Yeah. President Kennedy called them and said, hey, listen up, would you like the Army job? And he goes, now I'm gonna stay in Green Bay. Absolutely. Hey, how about that when he needed Paul Horny on a furlough to play in a championship game? He calls the White House up and he goes like this. Hey, I need a furlough for Paul Horny. Paul Horny goes for three TVs in the game and they win the championship game and he goes back and he goes back to like the, the military. There's no 1963 bear championship before and he doesn't get suspended. Period. He was that good and he didn't play that year for them. That guy put up 170. Yeah, but Mike, can you imagine you could call the president of the United States up and go like this? I need a guy off of the furlough so we can have him play in a championship game. I'm waiting for a call from my brother from four days ago. Right. I'm like, I president of Kennedy.
