Which is half the amount of battery chaos

got left on his phone. LAUGHTER Which is probably seven by now, actually. So the four could look a bigger number as the show goes on. OK, let's start and talk about this next phase of Liverpool season. We're going to cover off. We're going to cover off, thank you, Andrew. We're going to cover off one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, still more than Keo's battery life. Nine Liverpool fixtures spreading to between now, or it's spreading between Man City, at home, and the end of the beginning of the next international wake, which will play power palace away beforehand. Normally with these shows, we then talk about our rivals. And, you know, for a while, Liverpool's who, who exactly are Liverpool's rivals have been an ambiguous thing. But given the way the reds finish the last phase fixtures, I'm actually going to give it a big one and say that our rivals coming to the next phase are drum roll, arcelant Man City and throw Chelsea into the mix. We're looking up, slightly down at Chelsea, we're looking up. It's been an ambiguous start to the season. I'm going to say Keo.

Just two wins out of five. If someone had told us, you're going to win two of your first five, looking at the fixtures we had before us, I think we'd have gone, oh, that's a slow start. Even just on the surface of them. You see me react and they do that. I saw your reaction. You're going to tell me why that would have been a harsh assessment anyway. But being on beaten helps. Winning four of our last five in all comps helps as to clean sheets in providing something of a very good feel, good factor, I think coming out of the international break. Is that fair? It is fair, yeah. I completely agree. We are looking up towards Manchester City and Arsenal. I'm of the belief of, you know, aim for the starting. You reach the ceiling. So you should be looking at them and trying to keep up with them as much as possible for as long as possible. And if we do end up finding ourselves into a run of results or they find themselves drop and points, then we could find ourselves closer to them at the next international break than we realise. But, yeah, Liverpool, I've still got to improve,

but I do think Liverpool have improved. You said there were four wins in five in all comps. We asked them on beaten. So you see me react when you first said then about two wins out of five. Yeah. On the face of things you would have said, you want more than that. But what I will say is there was a general feeling around all Liverpool fans that we're going to have to be the patients. We're going to have to get this man some time. Because it's a new way of playing. The intent that he's going to jump. The players are going to run more than they've ever run. Or the other running recent years. So I didn't expect to see a finished Liverpool article by the first international break. I expected Liverpool to have lost games by now, to be honest. Yeah. I did not occur to exactly which game expected to lose, but if the first five games would not have been surprised if you said that a pool lose one or two. I'm giving where do you and I, I'm giving where we need to get to. But that's the right. There's still a lot of room to improve. Liverpool have looked good at times. They've also looked a bit on the well at times.

So I'm going to stay positive. I'm going to say, as your coffee cup says, I'm going to stay full of beans. And I'm going to carry on getting beyond it. Because this next one of fixtures is what I'll make a little pool season, in my opinion. It's testing. Liverpool will drill down to them in a minute. I want to look at the pluses and the minuses of the opening phase in a bit more granular detail, Adam. I think, although I'm, you know, I'm, I'm bored like the rest of us about the four wins in five. I'm not quite as angry about the just two wins in five league game. It's a somewhat, but I tell you what I would like to have seen by now. And the reason I'm, I'm sort of on the fence in terms of my optimism. I'm like, no, I'm slightly more optimistic than pessimistic. That's, that's for sure. I haven't yet seen a trademark performance that you go, ah, this is the manager we brought in. Maybe there's been a 10 minutes here or there. I suppose it's going to be a forever unfair comparison, but I'll make it anyway. In the early phase of clock, I think you and I think you would inherit in a much weaker squad than, and don't is inherited.

Whilst there were steps back, there were games where you go, Lala, the two, two, home to West Bram, where you go, well, I snore as much to celebrate as the manager thinks it is. There was the odd performance. There was the winning city, the winning Chelsea, where you go, Jesus Christ, we look at world beaters for a game there. I'd like, I'd like to have had a signature performance just to cling to so far. That's me being a bit of a negative nearly to call out big-eel Rudkin. I think the, I think the trademark performance is in the post, I would say. I tend to agree with you in that I think that that on paper, and even not on paper, it's not a good set of results. Really? Yeah, I mean, I even, I know it's the first game of the season and it's a way, and it's sort of, it's seen as a tough thing, but I do think we should probably be winning against Newcastle, and definitely we should be winning in the following forest at home in any season.

Any, you know, don't care who the manager is, when it is in the season, you should be beating in the forest at home, just because we don't often be in the forest at home, doesn't make that any less true. But I don't feel pessimistic. That was, you know, I'm sort of chiming in agreement with you there, but I do feel really positive. And I'm not worried, as you say, about where's the statement performance, because I think, you know, if you kind of think back to like Raffa, I suppose the thing I always compare everything to it in a way still in some ways. And his was like Arsenal, Arsenal at home, I think, you know, that's where that team clicks into. The Neil Mellor. The Neil Mellor winner, that team had looked good in in patches, flattered to deceive, and others have not been very good away. And then at that point, that game, which was definitely later, because it was dark. I mean, you know, it must have been after the clock. It must have been after the clock went back. Should you have the guess, what date?

I think it was probably November the 14th. You know, November the 4th, 28th and all of November, 2000. I don't even ask you that. And there's Portform, then. And if it's going to go... I know, Israel. I've got me locked up here. Of the smasers. I mean, so, sorry, I digress a little bit. But why, I don't just think it's because of us scoring one goal against Bournemouth that I feel optimistic. It's funny, though, because that is a massive goal in terms of... It's a big win. It's a big win and a big goal. And it felt big at the time. And I really do think that what happens before an international break is massive for a kind of a fan base is mood anyway. But yeah, I don't just think it was that, although, as I say, that was huge. I think that because we've got that, because it's kind of given us a bit of breathing space to be able to say, you know, OK, in a way, we can say that's par or just below par, in terms of like the results so far, it's... The fact that it makes us be able to take a step back and say, what have we got? And yeah, the interesting thing is, Rob, we haven't seen what we expected when we hired

Iriola in terms of blistering, attacking football. There's maybe just against, like, the start of the second half against Atlético. That was it, really. Like, when you saw the picture, the beginning, saying, yeah, yeah. But what we've seen is something that we weren't expecting, but it's absolutely brilliant. It's solidity. Like, we look so solid. So I think that the growing partnership that we're seeing in defence, obviously, Virgil and Jacque, but Aurojo as well, has made us... Has given us that bit of breathing space where it's back to that thing, the sensation that I sort of forgot on about from 1890 and 1920, is if we score, this other team is going to think we've got a mountain to climb here. And I've sensed that coming back from the opposition. You've also seen... We were a long way from that as well. We were a miles away. I'd literally forgotten that it existed as a feeling. And you sort of see it as well with teams trying to hit the postage stamp against Alison. And that's the sort of thing that you get when you've got a brilliant defence as well as him. You know, he's been there the whole time and he's always made good save.

But when you've got that good defence in front of them, it feels like you're running through. If you're the opposition, you're running through, trickle to be able to get to that point of even being able to try and have the shot to score the goal. So that's the thing which absolutely didn't expect. But is there, is really given me a big boost? And I guess maybe just before you pass on to Andy. I think the city things give me... Well, this is going to be my... Well, that's why I won't touch on that any further. My point to Andy, you touch it. There are context positives. I'll tell you at the first, it's obvious. I think this is an obvious one. But I think we all as a fan, except we were a working progress. We know that the manager's history was nine bad games at the start, where he didn't win any of Bournemouth and he built and built and built and they got better and better. So we know we accept there's a working progress element to this. But as Adam suggested, Adam, the form of our Champions League rivals has been... Well, the ones below the ones we expected... Let's just park our story in a city for a second. Our Champions League rivals who we'd have seen as the traditional Big Six and Villa.

They've all been broadly speaking quite poor. With striking distance of the top two as it stands. Because Arsenal, although they've looked imperious up to a point, got battered at Brighton. That's helped our mood. And as Adam said, quite frankly, although city have actually been imperious throughout, there's suddenly a big question mark if not an asterisk over them. And while some of these things might be false daunts, I think it all feeds in to the mood that Liverpool... As a fanbist, and hopefully the team feel it as well at the moment. I don't know. I don't know, to be honest, Robert, I don't think there's been a big enough sample size. And I think as well, it's far too early to be focusing on city and Arsenal. And... I thought premises were show dead. No, alright, it's okay. But just for the interest of transparency, this show isn't live until coming up next week. So the city thing... There probably be more developments by them at the time, people are watching, unless they're such a wet band. Good, but you're a good team of the three years. Or good, but you're a good team of the three years. What I would say, let's keep this back to Liverpool,

because it's been loads of chat about the city on a million different shows as well. And... Ipswich, you mentioned... Have you seen... An area all in like footprints on this? I think you mentioned that the first half of the tips, which was what? Is what? I was expecting. And I think... When you went to, you know, the Canada took the gas off a bit, a little bit there. But I've not seen Liverpool from the technical point of view. I've not seen Liverpool press teams in their own penalty box for a while. And that's what they would do when they were soft-cated. They were soft-cated in the team. Now, the key to that is, can we do it for 20 minutes? Yes, we've seen this for half an hour. Now, yes, it's then built and that'll... Into a performance where Liverpool and Winham position. Then you can take the first half of the gas. We've seen Yegans teams do this in Millie. Yeah, sure. The biggest positive for me, Rob, to be honest, is the three successive clean sheets in the league. I'd think that... I'm comfortable, it's clean, it's a wonder save it from Bournemouth aside. We've not looked like we've been hanging on in any of them. We haven't looked vulnerable. Obviously, you can't account for really brilliant strikes or really brilliant goals.

Anything can concede them. But I think if you're a working progress, as you brilliantly put it, because that's what I was going to say, as long as you're with Liverpool, as long as you're a working progress, it doesn't really matter what stage of the rath, as long as they move forward with it. And I think there are the being green shoots of that. Unfortunately, we live in a well-wereverton's black and white. We're absolutely... You know, whatever it is going to be, it's going to be the dog shit or the brilliance. We don't know if this is going to work out. But is the evidence just that this could work out and we are moving on the right way? Well, yeah, absolutely. It's just more... Seeing that... I'm more set of defence. I think... Or how has been... Superb, since you've come in. And it shows what everyone knows about football, because the amount of shit that was spoken about in before, they even played the game for us. And the veg looking good, isn't a better bite, Jacques A. And yeah, it's a build on me. And when you've won a defensive solid, does that... And I know it hasn't clicked yet. But the amount of attack and ability in that team,

you've always got a chance to get the result. I agree. Although, as we record, there is concerns over the fitness certainly of Cody Gap and potentially Alexandria Sack as well. By the time the show goes out, you may know more, you may know about other injuries. But let's talk about Liverpool's fixtures coming up in this next phase, the next month and a bit. But as we said at the top of the show, man, City at home, on the Sunday after the international break. And it begins... This is a two-game a week's off, whether you want to call it a three-game a week cycle. We then have Lascaway in the Champions League, Brentford away in the Premier League, Hot on its heels is Villarreal at home in the Champions League, Brighton at home in the league, Chelsea in the league, Cup again at Amfield, and then the fourth Amfield came on the spin, Arsenal at home, followed by the end of the month, and a battery away in the Champions League and Palace away in the Premier League. That's five Premier League fixtures, Keel. We're going to look at how many of what, three in the Champions League and one league Cup game? There's no room to breathe in that.

But breathe we must. I would argue that the lesson of... Athletic... The Athletic Home Performance that was then followed by the disappointing lot, lost a full-on performance, has got to be instructive to the manager and how he looks to pick his teams in this phase. Massively, I can say, it's not concerns, but I was dead nervous before the Champions League game because the manager had never been at that level before. I thought we'd done fantastic that night against the Athletic Home, but then, as you've just said, we couldn't carry that into the weekends, and when you talk about a manager who's not managing your before, we're not just talking about the 90 minutes on the Wednesday, it's been able to do Sunday, Wednesday, Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, and that's where the test of management comes in. I'm fully believe that Andorne Ruyola has the tactical announcement of the Champions League. I think we're seeing against that, that's com Madrid. Put the questions that fans will ask, and the media will ask, and the scrutiny that I will come under is being able to win midweek and then win at the weekend as well.

Now, the fixtures are really tough. You said there's not much room to breathe. The teams we play can beat Liverpool. Apart from Lask, the teams you play can beat Liverpool. The teams we play can probably have to go with Arsenal and Manchester City as well. We can go down to the end of the month. The bright and game around field, that's probably, you're looking at that, I think, that's probably the easiest of the... And yet, they're the foam team in Europe. They're the foam team in Europe, they're the three-pasta champions. Yeah. So, to really, really, sort of, one of the fixtures, and then you look at the Arsenal game around field, a way to fin a batchy, crystal palace, that's the international break which we talked before, I think I've made the point of, it makes a fan base for you so much better when you win before the international break. We'll look at the game after, and no one's gonna talk about it in this block of games, but we come back for the international break when he manionates the roundfield. Tury, come to the, it doesn't let up. That's what it's about. It doesn't let up at all. So, that's why I said at the top of the show, I think this round of fixtures is, is well over pool season, they'll be made. And I don't necessarily mean if we don't have a perfect run here, that it's the seasons all over, it's not good,

there's cup competitions, and there's all sorts, it's a play for, what we point is, you'll get a real, real gauge of where the pool is gonna finish in this league. By the time we get to that Manchester United game, not that internationally. So, nervous, yeah, nothing longer being nervous about going to play Manchester City, then playing in Europe, then Brentford, then Villarreal, Brighton, Chelsea, they've all top, top teams. But, I'm really putting it getting better, I said to you before, it's gonna take time, I actually expect the Liverpool to have lost the game at this point of the fact that we haven't, means we're probably in better shape than I thought, we will be, I thought there would be similarities to the Bournemouth thing with Villarreal, and it would take 10, 11, 12 games, maybe a few months before we start to see what you said before, a steady or typical Liverpool performance looks like. I think we're getting closer to that already. But, it's a really, really tough run of games, and we're gonna go through the Bobby Expect to win and lose in the minute.

I am feeling as if, by the time you get to that international break, and Daniel Yolves' name will be getting somewhere out of that field. I think it's a brilliant run of fixes, and in OK, I said it's tough, but if I was, if I was, and the only real, I would look at this run of fixes as a really good, tough test that will keep every single one of them honest, and if we want a sample of what Liverpool could be, I don't think you could have asked for more. So you come back in of the international break, you've got city and amfield, perfect. Oh, OK. Then you've got, basically, if you book in them between city and I said, yeah, you've got games that will test you in so many different ways, and it will keep them honest. There's no games in there where you can go out, like the former way you think, we should win that, but every single one of them, it's just the last one really. But because of the run of fixes, and because of the squad size, and because of the injuries, there's a chance that he has to rotate quite heavily for the Champions League there. So I mean, if you're going to come on to it,

I'll let you come on, Triple. We have got issues in same squad size. We have now got injuries to some key players. So Champions League games are not games where you usually play a FA Cup side, but that last game he might have to be forced to be cause of the run of fixes. This is what I want to put to add to my action. I think, I'd actually agree strongly with Andy's point about the tests. I think it's a sort of make or break phase in terms of the quality of team we're playing in the Premier League here. This is the bit where we're going to come out of the going, he's the man, and Kier's expressed optimism as one on that front. But let's see, but I would, if I were him, Adam, I would be targeting those five Premier League fixtures and going, I want 90% of my best 11 out in all five of those. And I wouldn't want to say I want to exactly see league Cup size against the last Kvilla Royale, just then a Baton C, and Chelsea and the League Cup. But I would work backwards from putting out nine in my first 11 in those league games and making the other games work around that.

Yeah, definitely. I think the league games, you absolutely have to just look at them to start with and then you sort of work out what you're going to do for the rest of them. There's certain games in there. Chelsea and the League Cup, it's a dog of a draw. It's one of the worst draws you could have had picked. You just have to discount it. Because in there, you've got what we're talking about, if we want to see this team developing, you've got real challenges in there. But as Andy said, it is in itself, actually, it's a run of fixtures that could be the making of this side and this coach. The one that really jumps out at me is Brent for the way. I think that's the hardest one. I think the... That looks like being a tough challenge. It has been for the past few years, a tough challenge. Because we're at full to the end of a busy week. Yeah, I think so. I think so, yeah. And so that was what I was going to say, is that it does come at the end of a busy week. But also the other hard ones,

hard-fixed are home games. And one thing that I feel like we've not quite got yet and it's part of the thing where this season is a continuation of last season's disappointment was we'd lost the Anfield factor. One of the real problems under slot was that suddenly, it was like that sort of... The whole fear factor of teams going to Anfield had gone. And that does happen sometimes to teams. And so I think that is, as we talked about before, our disappointing performances, mainly of being at home, actually, so far. So if I was a real older, I'd be really working on what they're going to do for those big home games. Because actually, they take care of themselves in a sense. There's no way that they're going to be quite tame affairs like a fuller at home. The city, for all sorts of reasons, is going to be a damn bust as event. And I really hope that is where a new fear factor,

a new Liverpool home thing starts. Because, as I say, the other games in this run are the biggest ones that we've got our home games. So yeah, that Brentford one just looks like the one that's really like thorny that I think... I'd love to see us get a really good point off from all of these games. But if you can go somewhere like this, after such a tricky little period and get something, and that puts him higher up, then I would have said, in terms of, like, below par, above par, I'd put him well in the credit in the bank phase for me. I think for me, I come onto you here on this one. One thing I do want to say, I know this may be an unfair ask because there's some tough fixtures in there in the Premier League in particular. But I don't want to quite come out of this bank of fixtures going, I don't know what, we picked up four or five wins, but three of them were Fenerbahce, Chelsea and Lask.

Do you know what I mean? I think we need that lead games. We need that lead games. It might be a big ask this, but I'd like to see Liverpool bag three wins out of five in the league. And it is a big ask when you've got City and Arsenal in there. What's your feeling? I think it's a huge ask, but I think it's fair. I talked before about the expectations of see Liverpool have lost the game by now. I talked about the progress that they've made. This next banker games, it mattered who we beat. The first banker games I expected, I saw the scene is, get a couple of wins on the board, don't get beat. And he saw the people that you have done that. This next batch of games, we've got to look at who we beat. So we beat in one of City and the Brentford away game or the Arsenal game. Then Liverpool got in good shape. I really, really take your point about the Brentford games. When you look at the screen, in front of me, you look at the runoff fixtures. The City won't do weekend is going to be really spicy. The last one you'd expect Liverpool to win. That Brentford game then is the game before four home games.

If we can get three wins, I'll tell them three, City, Lask and Brentford. Liverpool are going to, every single one of his players, manager, staff are going to feel like hang on a minute. This is the click moment. There is a potential for hang on a minute. Don't you know what I mean? And you see with some annual, and he's on that podcast and he said, a lot of the players were looking at you, and this isn't going to work. And all of a sudden, one training session, it went bang and worked. How many changes would you make from Man City to Lask? I'm assuming you're going to put out best side-again City, right? From our best side, I was against Man City as the City. He also said, we've said there as well, and we were at the time of recording. And this will come out in a few days after. We're recording, and there's injuries, we're taking action, there's injuries, to be exact, so we don't quite know. I think he's actually probably available. It just sounds like I think someone stood on his toe and it bled a little bit. It sounded very minor to me. Yeah, that is minor. You can play it into my chest. Jack, probably might be a few weeks. So you just question us how many changes to make from last. I'll be honest with you. I wouldn't do this for the Villarreal game, but I would, I'd be looking close to it if he'd come up side for that last game. I think you're talking, I think he's got to think about six minimum, doesn't he? Let's do them quickly, because I think it's instructive. You've got to have to change the keeper. Not play it, you know. I play Allison. The defense is a tricky one, isn't it? So out of the four there, you know what the first team four is. They pick themselves now, but how do you think the centre-backs probably stay as well? I think, for me, I would, I would rest the virtual,

put him on the bench as a break glass of sunsau. I think you can play a Rauhau at centre-back and then pong or something. Yeah, I think I might do that. Or if Joe Gomez is fit, put him at a right back, or I'd send him back. That's a fair shout. Mike is semi-cats. In for Curmacats to play, I think Neonia has to start. I agree with you, Neonia has to start. So Neonia and one of... I think Graffa Birch probably is probably Graffa Birch as he's probably played the least on Neonia and Graffa Birch. Good switches. So you've made four switches, haven't you? And you may be given one or two in the 60th, 30th to suppose lie in there, so you can... You've got to give my mother the penalty minutes there as well. Do you think so? You probably do. I think we're allowed to, because of the athletes, you're a result. Maybe, but... I think you're allowed... Let's be honest, I don't know, you've got to try. Did he play against him? Let's go. No, he didn't, did he? No, I mean, he's about to be able to go to the back. Because you've got to go to the back. I'll tell you what, I'm not too sure. There's no, there's no world in which, and listen, I've got some tough fixes up there, but there's no world in which we should... I'm remotely asked about last results, otherwise... No, it's more like getting... It did us through a third division team, right?

Certainly not. There are no streams, there are no single members, you think, with thirds at the minute. But we're talking about building up head to steam in the league. That means, especially if we carry, if code is not back, that means protecting what we've got and wrapping up the key players in cottonwall, especially because we're talking about... The last games on the 14th, we're playing on the 17th. That's where it's going to the 4th of the minute. It's like, I get what you mean, but... There's a bit of a difference here, as you know, there's rhythm and there's the top runners much. Okay, let's not beat ourselves up. Let me pause it this year, right? We beat City versus we beat by City. That would actually, for me, it's weird. The last game, the team we put out to me would depend on what happens in the city game. If we beat City and I think, DeWill, that's what I would say. Where does, if we don't get a result against City, and they need to pick it up, then that's also going to factor in. Yeah, I agree with that. If we don't beat City, at Brentford, it's like the Bournemouth game, we're prosecuted.

It becomes a bigger pressure, Adam, to do something there. The more I'm listening to myself and all of us aren't on the last. I think the two defences, and it's two changes in each department, is what we should do, just part of the keeper thing for a second. So if we've changed two defenders, I think, by committee here, we've changed two midfielders by committee, and a lot maybe may depend on the GACPO injury, I think. Because I'd probably quite like to keep giving Bacala a good run in these games, because he could do with getting up to pace, but it sort of depends on GACPO. Obviously, Moon knows as well, I think, probably starts this last game. I think Moon knows, you might go Moon knows, and Gamoa, and then for the final, just working out between us. And of course, as we saw with Spurs, no one says they have to stay at home. They can be on the bench and come on on 55, 65, and get us an embarrassing point. But even if you're only getting embarrassing points in the last, it's not the end of the world if everyone's fresh then for Brent. This is what I was saying about the last last game. Yeah, no, I agree with you. Well, then assuming we're all broadly on the same page, because we're looking at what teams he's going to pick.

So Brentford, hopefully, can pick a similar side to City. Then it becomes slightly tricky, because Villarreal and our more prestigious team, a team you can't not take seriously, but then with Brent, the following we can, and we've already got bad results in the first two, we're under pressure to beat by, and Brent, or we've got a good result or two in the first two, and under pressure to attack the top of the table and beat Brent. Either way, you look at it. I don't think you can go much stronger against Villarreal than you did last the previous week. There's five days between Villarreal and Brent. So it's Tuesday Sunday, isn't it? Yeah, so there's five days there. So you've got that. Second one, and again, I don't need to sound disrespectful, but nothing like that, I don't feel, shouldn't be a problem for Liverpool football club. I agree. I don't know, I would just say we've got to be cautious from one thing and the other, but I'm dead into this. There could be moments where Liverpool find themselves above expectations in a real run in the league. That's why I say this probably, I'm just so important. So, would you do the changes against Villarreal?

So that's what I'm saying. So let's see, obviously, if they go, if they go winning last week in team, then that gives you a luxury again with Villarreal. Where is it the goal? Yeah, and confidence. Imagine, right, we're in a well-wared city, well, if you're beat city, beat Brentford, you're feeling it? You are feeling it? Come on, let's fucking go. Beat some, right? I don't know, so now be feel me. I'm not. I'm with, Brian would be massive. Brian would be the game that put us right in the high the tyre. I might not be, you'd feel it, then. So then you've genuinely got to think about unless it's a really big hit or if it was very real or way, I'd be thinking differently. Yeah, but it's not. It's an amphilis. So you made the changes? Is she meant to be last, yes? Yeah, okay. Then on to Brighton, where again, we presume that they're looking to play the best side. Then I'm not going to overly dwell on Chelsea because I think it's a no-brainer that we have to make changes and see what happens there. And we go out, we go out. Top of the side. If we get the top of the side again, with good break glass options on the bench, hopefully. And then into Arsenal, where again, hopefully,

even you've changed enough players that you can do it again. Arsenal will be fascinating by then because I think from being Keo champions elect again, but two weeks ago, that Brighton result to sort of where Brighton tunked them, a sort of shaken football. Don't forget they were looking against Sunderman. Yeah, well that too. So that's the penalty. Well, that too. So that week Arsenal had a sort of shaken confidence, I think, in Arsenal's birthright, if that's the right way, of expressing it to win this season's title. So what shape Arsenal being by then is interesting. Liverpool could be any shape. We have no idea really. But what shape Arsenal would be in, I would suggest could also be up for grabs. Of course it can. I'll be honest, even last year, they were the best at it in the country. And they won the league title, but it was never scared of them. I was never ever scared of them. I've been scared of Manchester City over the years. It's been fun. But I've never been scared of Arsenal. And I genuinely thought when they do, or if they did win a league, and they became winners and I had to, it became a title winner, that that would change and I would start to feed them

because they could kick on. That's not really. Yeah, well, we've got a small sample size, but from what I've seen, I'm not scared of them again. It didn't surprise me when they get battered at Brighton. That's the thing I always saw as a thinkin' they've got. That's in the same way because they have coach games in very strange ways sometimes. And look, like I said, they were the most consistent side and that's how you win a title. You cannot take that away from them. But what I can take away from them is to tell them that I do not fear them in the slightest. And Liverpool can get to that fixture and we could be talking in the build of a football to beat Arsenal in a race. Yeah, imagine that. It suits us, it suits us because the one thing they do is you know they'll turn up negative because they are that, aren't they? And it's not really at all. It's not 100% criticism when I say that because I think sometimes we say, we'd like it if Liverpool were a bit more pessimistic at times and things like that. But you know they will turn up negative and I think that that potentially could really play

into Liverpool's hands just talking about this this kind of run of fixtures. And I suppose you know we are grasping into the crystal ball on this show as always. But it does remind me a little bit of what we said at the start and when those statement performances come, it really you know that is that date, that opposition, that you can imagine what I'm feeling is going to be like, you know exactly what time of day and what is going to feel like. And the fact as I say of them being this negative thing is negative edifice facing what we are expecting to become a more and more positive Liverpool thing. It's like you know it's the stars are lining sort of thing and I really could, I could see that if we are doing a bit of crystal ball, you can see it being one of those moments where things do fall into place for this, for this new side. Keon, Keon, Keon, Keon, Keon, Keon. It feels to me, I'll come on to you this one. It feels to me that maybe this is too obvious a statement. I'll make it anyway. But that last week of this run could end up being the toughest. You suddenly got to go to Turkey. Let's do this way.

Whatever come hell are high-watering. Even if you had even had a good run of results, we've really put our backs into it to play city and Chelsea and Brentford and Brian, and the European games in a closer and space space. To then for the final week you'd like a slightly easier ride to then have to travel to Turkey as a Champions League away and then come back and place palace away feels like that's going to be graft. I almost just think, just win both those one-nil lads and get out, get out of dodge. But it's time for anybody to come up. They could be as good as a cook, and in the Champions League anyway, to be honest. Could be. If the nine from nine, then we'd do again. But then again, we're making changes. We can't have all our cake and eat it all the way. No, but we are risking a few points. Yeah, but I'm looking at these fixes, but just from the scene at the top of the show, I'm looking at these with a laser focus on getting the momentum we'd be talking about, you know, being on a journey and a feeling and I would 100% prioritize absolutely every league game in this room because if they get a good run of forms together,

I really couldn't care less about, I'm a fan of actually, well, when we finish first or right, we'll draw inevitably draw PSG anyway. Yeah, so just, just pick up a more key. We said before, key was absolutely spot on our respect also, but I've never failed them. There's been times I've been going sweat even in and feel with Ciceno going fucking hell. If it could do it, there was always that knowledge that if Cicity turned up and sent, then they could repeat a bit and to a point where they wouldn't just damage it in that game, it'd damage it for a period of time, they could humiliate it and I think that went both ways with Cicity and Liverpool and I think that's by the rival, it was so big. Whereas with Arsenal, you just think fucking hell and you accept that you can get beat, but you're not gonna get eviscerated. And I, maybe I'm getting beyond myself here because I'm normally going pessimistic, but I'm getting excited. And this way, I don't mean to be dismissive with the Champions League, but the leagues are bread and butter, always as being always will be. And this is a real risk fair season. And I just think if we get up ahead to steam, it will be folly to gamble that on a game like Fenerbahce

where they've already got points in the bank. So you immediately focus for me after Liverpool, after Liverpool Arsenal, if Liverpool beat Arsenal on a run, I'd send the bombschool to Tehrki. That's okay. I'm thinking about Palo Strait, why? Because imagine the common, imagine common outs, after the Arsenal game, we've got three regards. So how many points we win? I'm with the Inter-Team distance at the top, and we've just beaten Arsenal. Well, that, that presumes that you've done okay against, we've made six to seven changes against Laskin and Villarreal, but if we should have enough, if we, yeah, if we've got enough, then then I would totally agree with you on Fenerbahce. We've won those games, Rob, and you already decided that. We've already decided that. Well, this is, this is me points, I was about to make it here because we are being very positive on this show. And that's fine, then, and we should be, because there's lots of people who have been involved with Liverpool, but we haven't got Liverpool losing the game until mid-November, and I'll be honest, I do think they'll put out the capability of carrying on an unbeaten run, but the likelihood is you will lose a football match. Well, why it's what game?

There was some point to it. There's some point to it. But now what game will or can Liverpool afford to lose? And this is where they were saying about it matters who you beat and matters who you get beat by, because look at the fixtures. If we can, in an ideal way, say we go on beaten until Fennabachi. We'll lose a Fennabachi in Crystal Palace, I've been made. If we, honestly, they don't have two games that pulled up points on all lose. We can get through Arsenal, Brighton, Brentford away, City. Get through them, get through them, get through them, take it. Win them, win them. Some say we can get through them to be game. Oh, yeah, then it's all that. And we're getting to, getting to November on beaten. Then we're looking at Turkey, we're even able to, Liverpool don't normally win. And Turkey wouldn't be the rest of the result there. Losing in a way, games are palace. Or, you know, even that one Brentford game, we went to Brentford and got people. We still beat City and we still beat Brighton. This is what I'm saying. We still beat Arsenal. We're being good shapes. So we have been very positive, but Liverpool will lose a game with some point, but I think it's very, very important

who they get beat by. And you get beat by, they lose two games in the City and Arsenal. Well, back next time we do an overview, we'll be a different conversation than if we lose a Brentford away in Palace or something. I saw a lot of things sometimes in these shows, I know we tend to be positive, but then the thing we forget about sometimes is, is that if we're being either black or white, is the other thing that exists is like a, is as we run off draws, which is sort of after cop for a little bit. So I don't know, I'm not sure. If I had to pick the most likely defeat out, I might say City was maybe the most likely defeat because they are a team that can come and turn it on and they've got such quality that they might be. But I sort of feel like instead of that, you might see three, three dissapointed draws in a row or something like that, which knocks the wind out of your sails a little bit. Let's talk about the fixtures of City Chelsea and Arsenal, City and Arsenal particularly in this face. Gonna wrap them out quickly. City has us away, Paris Saint-Germain, at home in the Champions League, Ipsichard home, they've got AK,

Athens again in the Champions League, at home, Villa away, Brighton in the League Cup at home, followed by Brighton at home in the Premier League, Leipzig away and Forrest away. Adam, you can start me on this one. What do you think of that bank of fixtures for them? Let's focus solely on the Premier League really, apart from the impact of tiredness on them, with some of the others, because I think AK falls nicely, but PSG is one they have to take seriously. So they've got, in the Premier League Liverpool, Ipswich Villa, Brighton and Forrest. It looks like an okay run and I do think they've been good. The elephant in the room, the great unknown is whether, is what's happening off the pitch ends up impacting them on the pitch. When did they play rated masters away? What do you mean? Is it the Premier League? Yeah. I was quite impressed with that. Yeah. Adam wasn't. I'm sorry. I don't think he got it. Come on, let's keep on track. I'm a factory girl, left-kill. Yeah.

So yeah, I mean, I suspect that there will be some sort of impact from what's happening to them, but it may be that, you know, everything got dark to point to the other year and one load of games in a row, sort of as a response. So you don't have to be here. You're just kidding on the dressing room wall stuff. I'm sorry, I think it'll help you. Yeah, yeah, so I suspect that they will circle the wagons in there and play quite well. And really, I think that in there, there's some tricky games, but that they are going to do quite well. And I see. The one thing we didn't say, Liverpool have three homes to your ways. So do you have the reverse? Do you have three ways to homes? And the ways are Liverpool, Villa and Forrest, which is fairly tasty. Yeah. I mean, but there's teams there, Bob Moore's, that have not, they've struggled a little bit and they've had a stuttering start. So it sort of depends where Villa and Forrest find themselves a bit, but... I can't really get past anything other than sitting doing quite well in that.

Oh, sorry. Yet to do the Arsenal fixture, so probably best making this comment after we've done that, but looking at cities, fixtures there, I would expect them to be top of the family. Yeah, based on what we thought about, so far we go to Arsenal fixtures. Now, to see where the contravenues are, but there is the R3 tougher way of games, but as other than so, they've probably shown the best quality so far. And I do think everything that's going on all in those around will probably spark a fire within the game. Possibly, possibly, but we'll see what happens when I'm feeling this on the game, because I think the away crowds will be difficult for them now. I think even in Amfield, and I think Amfield is an Amazon city, but I think the Amfield fixer from the city perspective is actually the worst game you could once going off the back of this. We all know what the cops like when it's out, and this one just feels, they've got to play Villa, Villa, Villa, Villa, Villa can be a horrible place to go to. And you imagine every single one just to the ball, Chi, Chi, Chi, Chi, Chi, Chi, all that stuff. Now, they may roll through it all and be fine. What I'm saying is there only takes one shake,

it results for that to snow. We've seen it, we've seen it, we've seen it with Liverpool. I'm not saying they're going to capitulate, but I just think, do you know, any kind of, it's like when anything bad, I mean, you have an adrenaline rush and I can push a little bit, but that don't ever temper him when that dissipates. Then what? And I just think any kind of a way, fixture, regardless of the days, is tricky for city right now, and we'll be for the rest of the season. I've also got PSG on the back of the ones that have pulled over. If they have two or three bad results, I could see then the factor clicking in and then the doubt of the media on top of them over a dip in form. Players thinking of the future. It will be the narrative. That's where they get into trouble. Let's look at Arsenal quickly though, because we don't have that much time. Arsenal have got, I'll do their lead. Okay, leads at home. Who's L.O.S.C.? Leal. Or Leal, of course. Leal, Leal, Leal. Leal. Leal. Leal. Leal. I'll try first. Leal, Leal, home, forest away, buying Munich away, Everton at home, Fleetwood in the lead, Cup away,

the Reds away, Slavia, Prague away, and they finish it at home. So, and Leal, wise, they've got, I'd say they've got the easiest one of the three of us. They're going to remind you it's Leeds, Forest, Everton, Liverpool and Hall, apart from the Liverpool game, that's a pretty winnable batch there, isn't it? Yeah, yeah, no, you're right. I can't really have much to do. Yeah, I'm just looking at it. Yeah, I mean, even the Forest games, after the, they've played and they're cupcakes against Shite as well. I mean, Slavia, Leal. Yeah, I mean, they've got buying. Yeah, buying, so yeah, they've got buying before traveling to the hill, Dickie, not to, no, to the right home. That's a hell. They've got buying before the host, Everton, which could be a David Moes master club. Everton, Everton, quitely, I think I've got some decent results on there over the years. So, you're not like the season in German as well, even though it seems, it seems as though Everton do perform best in misery with the little chocolate with the manager and they all seem to be angry with the season, but sitting in seven. So, but no, I'm going, I'm going to go against the grain,

we use, I did end this one, I think Arsenal ball and the way more points to Manchester City. I think given those features, I'd say that too. Right, let's, let's move on to Chelsea. And after that, we're going to start doing some predictions across the four teams. Chelsea far less fixtures than everyone else caused. They're not in Europe. They have Bournemouth home, league, Everton away in the league, Spurs at home in the league, then they're one cup game away. Liverpool, now new home in the league and Sondland away in the league. So, they have two away, forget the league cup game, they've got two away in three Premier League homes. Adam, what do you think of that run for Chelsea? Oh, well. I bet you had to expect that. No, you get to use, it was a bit like a dog. I just think they've, they've, they've really not looked like sparking into life to me that much. So, it's, it's, it's the toughest run anyway. Because that's, I mean, Bournemouth have been playing well. Everton's a hard place to go. Spurs, I suspect, might be, I mean,

it's been, it's been, it's been a hard time to be better by them. And it is, and it's a big, and it's a big game. I won't call it a derby, but it's a big game in London. And obviously, Manu, always a hard game. And I think Sondland's a tough place to go. So I suspect they may continue to, they may continue to struggle. There's already murmurs about Sondland's have been under threat, isn't it? Is it? Is it? Yeah. I saw, I see. Oh, Chelsea though, isn't it? Yes, of course. I might, I might have made them up, but, you know, we're running with it, the loud debut. Ball savings are happening now at the Home Depot. Save up to $500 on select appliances. It's funny how it's flipped though. I mean, they got some good results in the first three or four, didn't they?

It means go on, but even when you're shipping, you can see it, do we ship it? They're a very flippant for poor club though, from ownership to fans to players. It's, they've got zero redeeming quality. I think the best goalkeeper in the world, no, no, haven't they? I know, yeah. But looking at those, I could get at them on paper that the fixtures do look tough. Chelsea, for me, is still unpredictable because I do simulator and all your yola. Managers do need time when coming into the league, especially if not managing the league before. And I do think you'll, the Chelsea just blow hot and cold all season. What do you have got in the favor of the seven days on the sign and pitch in between? That'd be a single game and that makes a massive, massive difference. Not so much in October, November, but as you get to November, December and December. Oh, bloody. And when other teams are playing regularly, you're appearing football, injuries, hits, FA Cup stats, and all of a sudden, they're pretty fresh because they've been playing one game a week. So I said this at the start of the season that Chelsea are where keeping an eye on,

but I do, and with you, I sort of expect them to fall away. But long time, I do think there is something there, which I'll be a little bit longer. Let's do the predictions and the points. We'll start with Chelsea and with you, Keo, and I'll go around the table. Let's just do Chelsea's points. How many points do you expect them to get without their five games? Former. Folly, they'd have it in there. Keep making notes of the world you've got. Is this league yet? Yep, just a league. Yeah. Keep talking. 10 points. Sorry, I've realised I've quite went there for those listening to this one a while ago. So, just tell me. You're giving Chelsea 10 points out of a possible 15. Andy, how many of you are giving Chelsea? Um, but the seven. Andy's giving Chelsea the seven. I might change that to nine. Oh, I'm going to switch that. I was flipping on nine. I'm going to switch that. Andy's giving seven as well. Andy's going, sorry, Adam, you're going seven as well. Okay. Adam's going seven.

Andy, for us. Now Rob, thinking on his feet, making noises, thinks they will not be born with or ever turn, uh, all spurs. Ooh, I can be very possibious. Maybe they bounce back in surgery five, six points, I'm going to give them fairly pessimistic. So we move, therefore, on to Arsenal. Kyo, you can do Arsenal first. 10. You're going 10 for Arsenal. What about you and for us? The five league games. Yeah. Ah, 12. Right. Much more positive from Andy and Adam, how many points are you giving Arsenal? 10, Rob. 10. Rob is going to give them, um, what's four wins? I'm giving them four wins in a draw there. What's that? 13? Yeah. I'm giving them 13. I don't know why I'm being so bullish for us. Let me just double check myself. I'm not going mad. No, they've got bombs. They've got bombs in the cups. They've got bombs in the cups that really helps them.

So then on to Man City Kyo. How many points do you think they get? I've got 10 again here. This is, um, you know, I think that's the best Chelsea now because that's what I was going to say, but I sort of lap last minute and put an extra point on four then, but, um, I go 10 with Manchester City and then I'll work on me in Liverpool one now. Uh, Andy, what's your situation? Okay, I'm just going to look to the, we've got W, so it's, it's all switch, Villa, right and then forest, right? Mm-hmm. They're the five games. Yeah. Okay, I'm going to go, uh, bomb. See, well, I can do, yeah, we have a great radio this. Okay, I'm, you know what, I'm going to be bold. I'm going to say seven points. Seven points for City. Adam, where are you going with this? Given them 12. Adam gives them 12. Rob, on the hoof goes. Draw with Liverpool Beaves, which is four. Draw with Villa. Look at it, it's one to nine. Can I do that? Five, B, Brian, eight. I'm going to, I'm doing, I was doing City as if they were Liverpool.

Drinking on a draw with Liverpool Beaves, which four. I thought we could read up the results. Five, eight. I think they're going to get 11. And what did you change to Andy? Nine. Nine. Andy, okay, now we're now onto the reds. Let's see how sane we can be or otherwise. Here, when you're giving the rest. I've got 10 again. Okay, okay, 10. Andrew. Okay, so we'll beat City 114, Nell, says three points. I'm going to do this live because I'm doing the maths and we had. I'm sorry. So go three City, draw the way at Brentford. Four. Four, winner Brighton. Seven. Beath Arsenal. Ten. Beat Palace. 13. Come on. Come on, you reds, Adam. 11. 11 says Adam. We can someone get the league table up by the way while I'm doing this. Come on, do me. At Kia, I was done. He's ahead of the curve, as always. He's got 76% battery on his iPad. That's impressive in this day and age. I think Liverpool City's a draw. I think Liverpool do be Brentford.

That's four points. I think they do be Brighton. That's seven points. I think they draw with Arsenal. That's eight points. I think they draw with Palace. It's nine points. I think that's the way I said the results. You could get, forget about the points. I think the wins against City and Arsenal. I know, but I don't think they will. Well, they might do, but I've been... I was ludicrically bullish last season and came on stock every single time. That's because I'm... So I am crying this in like a motherfucker. Right, so... I think try and find an average here. And this is going to be quick math. Liverpool, we've got... 3534... 43... About 11 points is the average for Liverpool. Is the average? Now, let me do the others before we decide whether there's an league. For City in 1929, 32, 42, 42, 42, about 11 again, for City is the average. So I'll keep them ahead of Liverpool. Arsenal, 22, 32, 42, 45. You have to say it's about 11 for Arsenal as well. I mean, slightly more on average, but not much more. Chelsea, less. 10, what did you say?

10, 17, 24, 30. So Chelsea, what are we saying, a crook? Actually, what am I doing, dividing by 10 for? Is it 10... What am I doing? Should be dividing by four. I'm an idiot. 40. Yeah. Chelsea's about seven and a bit, isn't it? And I am doing it right. You are doing it right. I'm doing it right. Which makes me feel a little bit better, but my predictions there, because they all come out 10. Well, Chelsea would, if these, the averages work out, Chelsea would be on about 14, maybe 15 points. The average is where, I would be exactly the same distance behind City in Arsenal, then we are right now. What is it with the minute count? So the average is where we're up to three we are in the canal, there's 11 points I add. Everyone has 10 points so regardless, whether it's 11 or 10 from my position, Liverpool will come out with this one of fixtures, probably the same distance behind City in Arsenal. What's at this point? I was right now in the sixth point. Six times, 63 beyond off, but the interesting thing is, I don't think anyone can doubt that we've got the heart. People said, Chelsea's is hard. That's Liverpool's got the hardest right now. That's the point. So Liverpool can come out with this one of fixtures, three points behind Arsenal and six points behind Manchester City.

But the thing is, if the beat Arsenal says it, though that's minus three for them paired as well, then you can't get the same two sets results. That's what I'm saying. Nobody's saying if the average... No, you mean I'm just on average. Make it the point then. The average points, the average points, we exalt 10 or 11 points and we come out of this run of fixtures, the same or roughly the same distance behind Arsenal and Manchester City. Liverpool will be in a better place than you've realised. To get that run of games out of the way, where we are with injuries, manager squad, that's accepted, et cetera, found ourselves going into the Christmas period. Yeah, the next over, we know what's to become as really interesting. Yeah, and I looked at it, you know, that spoiler alert, but yeah, the Christmas period could be really interesting, I think. Yeah, yes, it could. Okay, we are, I have the caveat. We are prone as a fan base in this particular overview room to optimism. What? We really, really, I know. I've got a figure. We are really... You've just said that would a straight face off the same way we're running in the draw against. Well, I was trying to correct the balance again. No, that's the thing. We'll have to go back and have a look at some of the predictions. Like that one, we'll make exactly how many points we've been off in 12 months.

This is a job for you, just a job for you, Josh Williams. Did it do the numbers? Did it do the numbers? Honestly, what the trends are showing? Well, seriously, when I'm... I'm trying to wind up a show here, Andrew. I will, I will, I will. I remember the period, I remember the period, not so long ago, where Liverpool, if you predicted Liverpool win 10 on the spin, it wouldn't seem so wild, and they can do it. It's just the last season was a disaster. So, we're predicting Liverpool win five on the spin. Is that what you just concluded? No, Andy, thank you. Adam, thank you. Kio, thank you. Anytime.
