weeks match up until Wednesday or until Thursday. Excuse me. Well, now we are going to do a little bit of a cheat here and talk about the week five match up between the Ravens and the Falcons because it feels like everybody's talking about that match up and no one was really focusing on the Titans game anymore. So we're going to move on to week five here in the final part of the show. In the second and first part of the show here, we're going to be talking about the Ravens injury updates rolling in Lamar Jackson, Durham, Smitham. We'll also talk about Lamar Jackson posting an Instagram story that has a lot of people talking right now and just kind of maybe what people know and don't know about the situation with Lamar and here to do that with me today. It is foreign Baltimore, Ravens, White or Seaver and Super Bowl champion, Coddry, Ismail. Q lots of Ravens injury headlines on Tuesday, obviously relating to Lamar Jackson all eyes are on whether he can play obviously in Rapp report reporting early in the day on Tuesday that there's just an outside chance Lamar Jackson plays with that ankle sprain and also called it I guess a rarer type of sprain. So lots of unknowns here and honestly, I don't expect that to change any time soon.

Well, I'll tell you what, this has kind of been the start of an interesting season across the league with all the different injuries. But for our quarterback, the flock, what we see as far as Lamar Jackson clearly, he had his ankle going down inwardly or medial and all that could, I'm sure, strain the complex called the deltoid medial ligaments. So there's a bunch of those inside ankle bone help give you that pop that spring, makes him him the explosive caliber of player that he is. I can see where, yeah, that certainly got strained. The good news is shout out to Steve Ashotti for the grass field because I think when you look at the still photos of action, you can see where because the grass cave and protected him, if not been for the synthetic stuff, which would have probably been far worse.

Yeah, could have been worse, but obviously still not great that an injury was suffered. Now, I just want to talk about the information about the injury because again, we know that Lamar Jackson is a very private person. We know that the Ravens this season and in previous years in a John Harbottu, but Jesse Mentor has been very much underlocking key in terms of presenting injury information, even on stuff. I mean, Durham is my thew. This is a little bit of a, we'll talk about this in the second part of the show, but he tore his Achilles and Rappinport reporting that, you know, we didn't know that until Tuesday afternoon, where I think it's cracking it from wrong. You know, I mean, Achilles injuries, you can tell pretty quickly with a test. Is that, is that correct? I mean, you can't, I have personal, personal history to know that, yes, you can. You can tell right away your foot will not have any reflex whatsoever in it. Yeah. So again, like we could have probably known that on Sunday after the game, the Ravens for whatever reason that doesn't come out until Tuesday, but my point is again, Lamar Jackson

in Rappinport reporting again, it's covered this on a live show on Tuesday earlier in the afternoon. I was the panel. Should I go live? Should I not go live in my car? We're going to go live and talk about it in Rappinport reporting on Tuesday morning at about 9 a.m. We're all waiting for Lamar Jackson update. He ended up saying quote, Ravens for about Lamar Jackson is the only the sprain ankle that gives him only an outside chance to play Sunday against the Falcons, sources say Jackson can end up missing multiple games based on how rehab goes, but the injury is not considered long term or surgical. Now Lamar Jackson posted a story on his Instagram. I believe this was a little bit after a right around the same time this was posted and everybody's going crazy about this because it's three pictures of him in the game against Tennessee on the Sunday. And then the song that he picked was somebody lied by rain. And so everyone's looking and looking for any like the grass but any straws they can't like is Lamar saying that he's lying about is he is he going to play. But again, the situation queue is I'm not sure who knows what and what is out there and

what's being told the what and who and where and when and how because again, Lamar is very private, his campus very private. We know that I don't know if the Ravens are saying anything about this either. Again, we didn't get any updates from Jesse mentor, both after the game and on Monday. So it raises the question about like, who does know what and what's going on and how real is this and how real is that again? Rappinport is one of the most trusted and well known insiders in the business. I'm not trying to like discredit him or anything, but it does kind of raise a question. And again, we're not here to talk about a song choice on an Instagram story in the first part of the show. It's more so cute about like if Lamar is giving an outside chance by Ian Rappinport, do you kind of expect with the way that the ankle turned in initially? Do you think that there is a chance that he plays? Do you think he does have to sit out a week or two? Like what's what's your opinion when they had Gilly brought in? I am curious as to what modalities, what soft tissue, manual therapy work that he is going

to suggest or himself even do to help Lamar Jackson get back out there on the field. And I think again, when I have seen these equa injuries and those ligament stretching kind of getting a little bit out of position, there are some strong modalities that you can use. I mean, an FSM practitioner, a certified advanced rolfer, a body specialist that will really know how to get that tissue to heal and get it quickly. Again, you're also looking at what you can do as far as nutritionally helping out the body, get into a better position, a better stable state. Those are all things that accelerate healing. What's the body in a position where it's like, man, I feel good. Let's go out there and get it done. Will he probably be taped if he can't get to those processes?

And he's saying he has my line or whatever and all the song references and that could be a strong possibility. And he could be out there and just not being the as dynamic of a player as you've been accustomed to seeing. There won't be the quarterback delay draw runs. That's something that I would suspect would be the most likely positive scenario. Him being taped up, obviously there's going to be some sort of anti-inflammatories shot that's going to kind of numb the area of, oh, God, this is hurting me type thing. And he'll be able to go out there and play. Has this been the first time this has happened? Nope. It would be the last time. Nope. This is pro football and injuries do occur. Now sure, we know from a base perspective, the Mar Jackson is like, wait a minute.

We can't get him injured for nothing. And you kind of saw a little bit of that against, you know, a team in the Tennessee Titans that really struggled, but they could say definitely a joint company went a conservative route all you want. But there were a lot of three in-house. There was a punts, punts, punts, punts, misfeel goal, all of that. That says when Lamar is not in there, it's a different team. Yeah, you know, I just think it's, it is kind of crazy how again. And it's something because like there's not a lot of information out again, like fan bases latching on. So, okay, he posted a song, called Somebody Lie After This Thing Comes Out. Does that mean that there's hope or whatever it may be? But again, like I think for the Ravens and for Lamar, I mean, it's, with the way the Ravens have kind of handled the injury announcements this year with obviously Lamar being a more private person and this can't be in private, which is fine by the way.

But again, like there's no like official agent there and there hasn't been, you know, Lamar versus only as a team obviously of people, but you know, it's just a different dynamic and other players have that dynamic too. There are other players who don't have agents, but you know, it's, it's kind of an interesting one in that way. So again, we'll see, I'm not reading too, too much into it, especially because I think Lamar has been on record or maybe he was another Ravens player, but I think there was Lamar who said that he's, he just likes to tweet things to troll the fan base sometimes. So, I don't know. Yeah. Well, we'll see. We'll see. Is there any risk for injury here? Like let's say Lamar is it 75% or 80% with this and like I want to dive into the potential for re-injury because you mentioned like obviously there are certain things that maybe if he's not 100%, he's not going to be able to do as well or you know, be able to do with the ankle, but like is there a possibility that if he goes out there and he's not like ready and the ankle's not ready to be played on that it can turn into something worse or it's just like you have to stay off of it.

It doesn't get better until you rest it type of thing. No, see the that's that's a conservative mindset. I personally am an aggressive conservative mindset. What are you talking about, Codby? Well, just sitting there arresting it and doing an anticipated way of healing is doing no one good, even if you're thinking that, oh, somehow you're just going to get up and I am healed. You know, no. Yeah, again, some of the modalities that I talked about, whether it be FSM, whether it be manual therapy like Rolfing, whether it be electric stem like the ARP trainer or the Phoenix Wave form, whether it be giving him an opportunity to go into hyperbare chamber, photo biomodulation, they have some sound wave therapy, they have some of those modalities and their facility, some of those they don't, but whatever they have, they have some advanced

stuff that I would absolutely, that's the conservative part of it, meaning that you're not going to have them go out there, not take up and just, oh, yeah, you're fine. So yeah, let's get it straight. Your aggressive and all of the things that you're trying to do to speed up the healing and put the body in the best possible place to heal itself. And then, yeah, that makes it does, which is when you sleep, okay, now the body does its own self healing and yeah, there are some modalities you can technically go to sleep with to help your body continue to heal. But yeah, I am absolutely under the mindset that if he can go, he should go. But remember, once training camp starts, across the board, doesn't matter from the mall or to Patrick Mahomes, those are the two alphas and you can put even Josh Allen up in that mix however you want to, but those are the two alphas.

Like injuries, once training camp start, no one is 100%. No one, period, end of discussion. So yeah, the Maura is in that boat where he is like, all right, I got to continue to help myself take care of myself and figure out how I can help myself heal and be the dynamic clear that I've been called to be. Obviously, I'm hoping the best for Lamar, obviously in Rappin for, you know, outside chance to play on Sunday, which does not mean he's out by the way. And again, could be something, could be, he misses two weeks, could be, he doesn't miss any weeks and he's able to play in week five, but we do know this Ravens team absolutely does need him and he is the lifeblood of this team right now. But you, I appreciate you. I know you got to jump on out of here right now. So thanks so much for happening on here, given some time and some insight. Before I get you out of here, please tell people where they can find you and what's working on you. Yeah, man, it's all about missile training, missile training.com for your human movement,

The organization had a vision stuck to it and I was seeing the results because everyone was working from it the same playbook. Organizations win because operations matter and that's why you should get Odo.

You had to jump off here before our second and third segments. But I'll be taking the home here in segment two and segment three. Don't worry. We still have plenty of content to cover. Now I do want to talk about a couple of things we talked about over on not only the instant reaction show we did earlier on Tuesday, but also locked on Ravens PM because Ian Rapp report gave another update that we did talk about during the 6 p.m. edition of the show. But I just want to dive into a little bit more detail on it here. Ian Rapp report was on NFL live and on the March actions return time table. He said quote, it's a little bit of an unconventional ankle spray and everyone wants to know, is it low? It's kind of a rare type of ankle spray. My understanding is based on rehab. You could actually end up missing multiple games here.

So, like we talked about a lot of it from the Lamar perspective and everything along those lines. But, you know, I really want to talk about the schedule for the Ravens and this is also as we mentioned in the first part of the show. And we actually had the breaking news come up while we were streaming on Tuesday afternoon. There are some nice tours of Kelly. So he's done for the year. We'll talk about the tight end position a little bit more coming up in just a few minutes. But looking at the Ravens schedule this season, right? Obviously, look, the good news is that Rapp report said in this first update that this injury is not something that is considered long term or surgical, right? But when you look at the Ravens schedule, you know, Rapp report starts talking about multiple misgames. That's what kind of worries me here. And again, there's a possibility Lamar doesn't miss any games. You know, there's a legit chance he suits up. And if he does, by the way, we're going right back to that Instagram story. And we're like, oh, he's, you see what he was saying? Something. But look, you got the Falcons in week five. That's a prime time game. Then you go to Cleveland, then verse the bangles and then at the bills. Now I wouldn't expect Lamar to miss.

Look, I don't expect him to miss four games, but if he has to miss multiple, the absolute max I can see him missing his four. Now, I don't think he'll miss four. I'm not saying he will miss four, but I'm just saying like, I can't see a situation where Rapp report calls this thing not long term in him, miss like more than four games. That would be long term to me. So it's my like my realistic possibility for Lamar, if he does have to miss time, he misses Atlanta and then potentially Cleveland. Now ideally he comes back for Atlanta, but of course he has to be ready and you know, is the anchor going to respond by then? I don't know. Again, I'm not really sure we get any updates from Jesse Mincer over the course of the week here. You know, like I really don't think so. I think that you probably won't practice for the majority of the week. I definitely don't think he practices tomorrow. If he does, and I think that tells us a lot about where he is currently standing in terms of his availability for Sunday night. But yeah, I mean, look, we know that Baltimore's offense, as we've mentioned many times here on the show over the last couple of days, Baltimore had 24 points entering half time.

Those are Lamar left and they end of the game with 24 points. I also know a lot of people were talking about potentially Joff and Yano starting. I have addressed that a couple times too. I want to address it again. I just I don't think that they're going to do that, you know, like regardless of whether you think it's the right decision or the wrong decision to start Fannyano over Huntly. I mean, Huntly is a vet backup who won the multiple big time games last season. I just I don't think they're going to turn to Fannyano when Huntly is healthy. You know, I just don't Huntly is this team's backup. And you know, I get it. There are a lot of things that Huntly can't do that Lamar can do. But you know, Fannyano is kind of the same way too. I mean, there are a lot of things that Fannyano can't do that Lamar can't do. It just comes down to what are the things that Huntly can do better than Fannyano and what can Fannyano do better than Huntly? Now, we know what a Tyler Huntly offense. It's going to be a lot of like short intermediate stuff. Tyler Huntly, you know, I don't even know what Eri's in now, but you know, whatever year he is. And he still cannot push the ball down the field effectively consistently. So you're not going to get a lot of those deep shot plays. And I think that takes away a huge element in your offense.

I think Joe Fannyano can probably do that a little bit better consistently than Tyler Huntly. I mean, Huntly came in a league and he got better at the deep ball, but he's still not great at it. You know, that was one of the big weaknesses on him. He started off in the 2020 season. So this is what year six for him. I believe if I'm not mistaken, or am I just bad at math, I might be bad at math. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Yep. Sorry, it's your seven. I'm bad at math. But that's one area that does concern me about this Ravens offense without Lamar Jackson and with Tyler Huntly. Now again, he's won them big games, but like with this offensive line, it's a new system. Kind of how does that work? I mean, you have Derek Henry, you have Zay flowers. So like that helps out a lot. But you know, with Lamar thing in terms like ankle sprains, all you know, he was on the sideline doing this thing. You know, I do want to do so. I actually want to do an exercise right now. Right. So if you're sitting down watching or listening to this show, so essentially Lamar's ankle turned inward, right?

Usually your foot, I guess your foot turns inward, right? Usually with an ankle, your foot turns outward, not all the time, but usually the foot turns outward. So if you're sitting down and you have your, the soles of your feet on the ground, what I want you to do is turn your ankles out, turn your foot. Sorry, turn your foot outwards. One or both. You can turn both your feet outward. Don't do it too hard. Just like, you know, turn your foot outward. That's how stuff usually happens that way. That's how I have actually broken my foot two times. Is, you know, and I was playing basketball both times. Don't ask me how it happened. And in that, because it's embarrassing, but I got crossed up right there. I said it. But like when you, with that foot turning outward, like that's how the ankle sprains can happen. You know, your ankle turned, like your foot turns out, and that's how it happens. Lamar is turned inward. So it's kind of hard to even do it if you're sitting down, but like your, his, his foot turned inward. And you can see that on the, on the picture. So the sole of his foot is facing outward.

The, the, the base of the foot, the top of the foot is facing inward. That is, I think, where they're talking about the rarer type of ankle sprain, because, you know, usually, it's not all the time, but like you see the, the base of the top of the foot, the, sorry, the top of the foot is turning outward. Usually, the sole of your foot is inward when it comes to usual ankle sprains. What happened to Lamar is again, they got caught up in Dermain Johnson while the top of his foot got clamped down on, not in a, like malicious way, but it's just like Dermain Johnson fell on his ankle outward. And the top of the, the top of the foot was inward while the sole of the foot was outward. I know I've said a lot of inward outward, sole of the foot. I'm just, I'm trying to explain it as best I can. That's the rare part of it, I think, is what they're referring to. So, you know, that maybe I, I think that that takes more time if I'm not mistaken, don't quote me on that. But again, that, it's all factoring into it, right? So you kind of have to take it all into account. I just, I don't know, I'm curious to see because I, I mean, if Lamar is not,

like if he's at 70%, you know, he's not running as much this year, but I mean, it impacts his mobility. And, you know, if he can't escape from the pressure that, you know, the Ravens offense of mine has given up this year, he can't do it as effectively. You know, it puts him in even greater harm's way. And I just, you know, I don't want that for him. So they need him out there for sure. Atlanta's a team where I don't think you can play ketchup with them if you don't have Lamar Jackson. I mean, if Tyler Huntlet offense goes down 17 to three in the second quarter, I don't think that offense is coming back from that. So, you know, it's important to have him out there, but it's more important for him to be healthy long term. So that's kind of what the Ravens have to weigh here. But coming to the final part of the show, we'll be talking about just the Ravens and Falcons game in general. We'll talk a little bit more about the Durham's nice situation a lot more coming up on lockdown Ravens. The Ravens. The Ravens. It's important for today's episode comes from Quo Spell and Q.U.O. Now, I can mention in the first part of the show, usually we talk about the games, the upcoming weeks games starting on Thursday. We do a little bit of a dive into the upcoming matchup on Wednesday. But we're going to do a lot more of a preview of this at Leningame. Because I feel like people are kind of moved on from the Tennessee game because of the Lamar injury and kind of the way the game was in general. I really want to focus in now on the Falcons because look, Lamar playing or not playing is a huge swing factor in this game. But if Lamar plays, I mean, it's not a really good team. And Lamar does not play defense. And that I think is where a lot of people are a little bit concerned about what this Atlanta Falcons team can do because on offense, Atlanta has Bijan Robinson as well as Brian Robinson.

Those two combining for five touchdowns in their Monday night and Lawatwin over the New Orleans Saints. And by the way, I need to say this real quick. How did the Ravens lose at the Saints? How did that happen? And just of course, the Saints are one and three and the one when they have is against the Ravens. Like just, just Ravens football, I guess. But the Falcons are a heck of a football team. Kevin's to Fanski, he has those guys playing really well, both offensively and defensively. And you look at Atlanta, I mean, obviously the offensive town is there with Robinson. Well, I guess the Robinson bros, if you want to call them that and then Drake London, Kyle Pits, that's not a great season. But look, they've played really well since Michael Pennix. And guess what? It's just the Cooper Rush thing, right? Cooper Rush plays two games in the Falcons. They lose both. And now Michael Pennix is back. And all of a sudden, they have been undefeated as Michael Pennix came back. So I guess for Cooper Rush, it's good news. Michael Pennix came back for the Falcons. But yeah, of course, it's the Cooper Rush thing,

which the Ravens had to go through last year. Cooper Rush lost two games and lost the Falcons two games too. But Atlanta is really good. They are second in the league and rushing averaging 5.2 yards per carry. They are 11th in the league and passing, averaging 6.7 yards per attempt. Now, rushing wise defensively, they're the best rushing defense in the NFL. Am I surprised me when I read it? They're the best rushing defense in the NFL. 2.7 yards per carry given up on the ground. And they're defensive line. And we'll talk about this all week. But they're defensive line as guys on like Brandon Dorillis. They traded for a Gravon Dexter from Chicago. They have a few other guys as well. Mason Smith, who they traded for. It's not like a ton of households names, but it's getting the job done over there in Atlanta. And plus, they have the seventh best passing defense as well too. So they're doing their thing. They're doing their thing. And meanwhile, for Baltimore, I think one of the things that concerns me most is that Baltimore's run defense really hasn't been as dominant as it could be.

I mean, there are 11 of them leading in rushing defense with 3.9 yards per carry given up. It's not like it's bad. But this team has been, I can't remember the exact stats, but like there have been years, I mean, there are top five, top two, top one. And especially with the person all they have, I mean, not having to be guys and been in there for all the years. So that's a factor as well. But you have to be able to stop Bajan Ramasan on the ground here. That's the number one priority. If you let him do what he's been doing on the year, which is just disgusting. I mean, he's averaging himself 123 and a half yards of game. He is averaging ridiculous 5.8 yards per carry on 85 carries. He's been on really. He got to stop the Falcons, Brown game, enforcing the beach through the air. Force Michael Pennix to make throws. But that's easier said than done in a lot of different ways. And again, if Atlanta gets up really big early in this game, I do have concerns about where the Baltimore could come back if Tyler Huntley is the one this playing. I think with Lamar, you always have a chance, regardless. But I don't know.

I mean, again, the injury situation is going to be the thing to monitor here with Lamar. Because if Tyler Huntley plays in this game with the way Atlanta just played in this one, I mean, there's always a shop Baltimore wins. But they would be the underdog for me in my opinion, not the Baltimore. Baltimore likes being the other dog too, by the way. But I know just a lot of different things the factor in here in this game. But again, all eyes on the Marjacks and injury situation. I'll have you covered here on mocked on Ravens with all of the updates. But that's all I have for you today on mocked on Ravens.
