2:04I'm like, should I go live for this? Should I not go live for this? But obviously, I think in the grand scheme of things, it was important too. So we're here talking about a plus I love doing these live shows and it's only reacting to stuff breaking news and all that. Although I know we're a couple hours behind the news because it dropped this morning. But I decided to, hey, why not? We'll talk about Ian Rappeport's reports on Lamar Jackson and the injury situation and timeline for him based off that report again. Just a report. There's been no like official statement from the team or anything along those lines. We'll talk about where Rappeport's report had to say as well as what it means for Baltimore if Lamar does have to miss time. But it would mean if Lamar plays in this game based off of potentially not being a full 100%. Possibly again, we don't know. But again, this is like the first real concrete report that we've had on Lamar's injury situation. So at the end of the day, I thought it was important to go live for it. So in Rappeport on Tuesday morning, he ended up putting out a report about Lamar's injury

3:07situation. We'll just read it out right here. So on Lamar's injury, if I can pull it up, I thought I had it. I ended up closing the tab. Here it is. All right. So Ian Rappeport on Lamar Jackson said, quote, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is dealing with a sprained ankle that gives him only an outside chance to play Sunday against the Falcon sources. Say Jackson could end up missing multiple games based on how rehab goes, but the injury is not considered long term or surgical. So good and bad news in that, I guess, overall, right where I think that for Lamar, the good news is that it's not long term or surgical. That's what Rappeport is reporting there. But the bad news is, if he can't play against the Falcons, that's a really big deal. Atlanta is in semi. I'm sure we all watched that game or no other game that happened last night. I mean, just pulling up Atlanta stats here for Falcons. That's 2026. I mean, look, Bajon Robbins said, I mean, Atlanta's running backs had five touchdowns

4:08last night. Bajon Robbins had two, Brian Robinson had three. They have a two head of monster with arguably the best running back in the NFL right now. They have the second best rushing offense in the league and the 11th best passing offense in the league and their defense is good too. They have the best rushing defense in the NFL and the seventh best passing defense in the NFL too. So again, if Lamar is not in there and it's Tyler Huntley, I know a lot of people will talk about Joe Fignano and whether he should star or whatever. I know a lot of people are having that conversation right now. So we'll talk about it probably in the second or third part of the show. We'll get to it. But this is a really good Atlanta Falcons team. And without Lamar, obviously, your chances of winning go way down. I'm not saying they go to zero because we've seen if it is Tyler Huntley and that's who I assume it will be. But if Tyler Huntley goes and he's led this team to wins that we thought the Ravens had no chance in games that we thought the Ravens had no chance. So it's never say never in that regard. But the Falcons, like it's kind of the thing I say about the Ravens offense, right?

5:11It's like if Lamar is not in there and Baltimore gets down early to Atlanta and Atlanta goes up like 13 to 3 in the first quarter or something or 17 to 6 and a half time. I just I don't know if Tyler Huntley can lead that team. I mean, we saw how the offense looked against the Titans. But again, like it's a guy coming in in the second half, you know, it's not like a full week of game planning. So I don't know the situation. You're like, I assume the more Jackson's not going to practice all week. He'll be deemed as questionable leading up to the game. Maybe he'll practice on Friday or something. If he gets any practice work in this week, I think that's a really good sign for, you know, what's in store for him. And, you know, I see, you know, Zima, we're saying he needs to play better with Terrible without him. Ideally, he does play, but I do think that like you don't want to make the injury worse. And so, you know, if he's at like 80% or 70% or whatever it is, it's honestly just probably not worse than an amount there because he's not going to it's like last year, right?

6:13Like he's not going to be able to do what we know he can do when he's fully healthy. And the season, look, we're four games in still a very young season. So I totally hear what you're saying, Zima. But, you know, I would like worst case scenario here. So, I think that's Lamar plays at like 80% and the spring gets worse and it turns into something where man, now he has to miss a month or a month and a half is supposedly and maybe he misses two weeks, you know, the Ravens go hopefully one and one or two, I mean, ideally two and oh, but, you know, if you go all in two in that spot, you're still what, three and three, which is a tough place to be because I've very much stressed on this show, the importance of them starting five and one. But, you know, you don't want to sacrifice the short term for the long term here, but that's what makes the situation so unfortunate is like, you know, you drop a game to Atlanta, here you drop a game, let's say he can't play against Cleveland either and you lose that game to Cleveland, who's playing really good football too. It's tough and I see Derek here saying, going to linger like last year, our line isn't good enough to run for weeks without him just running Henry. Yeah, I mean, the line has been a huge concern point.

7:14You know, I think Fangui wanted to short up the center position and, you know, Emory Johnson and Andrew Voorhees were, you know, fine filling in there. You know, Johnson's been a weak spot, you know, Ronnie Stanley's been not as good this seat. Actually, I'm, I mean, like a Ronnie statue, quick. This is one of the beauties of doing these live shows, we can just look up stats here and do live research with just right in the moment. So Ronnie Stanley, PFF will go his grading here. So overall, he is 63.2, which is 48 out of 69 tackles, past blocking grades 25 out of 69 tackles at 73.8, run blocking 59.4, 43rd out of 69. So he's not been bad, but he's also not been like elite at that position. He's been kind of, you know, middling this year, kind of below average, I would say. And you know, that's been really tough. And yeah, Simpson does not look great. They are Rosengaard's been really good. I've been really impressed with Rosengaard in this year. But, you know, can you do that with Derek Henry behind, you know, this version of the Ravens Offensive Line in a new offense just, you know, this is week five here.

8:16I mean, that's a really tough ask. And I'm not saying it's impossible, but I mean, again, I'm just hoping that the reports aren't like the report is something that is a report and that stuff will change over the course of the rest of this week. Again, the more has the extra seven hours for this game in particular against the Falcons. So, you know, if you want like a silver lining, like that's a grassbitch draws for something, that kind of is that. Man, I mean, this is a really tough position to be in here for the Ravens because, you know, like these are really important early season games. But again, you do not want to figure that out. And actually, we're just getting breaking news. We're getting breaking news here. Durham's Smith is officially the diagnosis officially suffered a 20 killies. He is out for the season. So that is what we're just getting here. One minute ago from Ian Rappepore. So got a little breaking news here on Lockdown Ravens. I'm trying to see if there's any other information on this here.

9:20Doesn't look like it right now, but I mean, yeah, that's really tough. So let's see. Durham's Smith is putting this down here officially suffers a 20 killies. I mean, that's tough because, you know, he coming over in Declan Doyle system, obviously, came from Chicago. So he has that familiarity, you know, and so like that's a loss for Baltimore's offense. It's not the biggest loss in the world. And obviously like my well wishes go out to him and his recovery. But, you know, it's tough. You know, when you, when you suffer a torn of killies, I mean, you know, pretty quick. I think they can do like an Achilles test. So I mean, I don't know why it was, I mean, I don't know what's going on there. But yeah, just really tough for Smith. Someone that, you know, I think was a really steadying veteran presence in that tight end room and was able to help guys and he'll still be able to be in the meeting rooms and all that different stuff. You know, now Baltimore, they call up Taipeza. You know, what's going on? So, you know, these, these injuries, it's just, it's crazy. So, you know, getting some breaking news on, on Durham's Smith officially torn

10:23as Achilles and it's just brutal. So, you know, this has kind of been the year it's been in the NFL. It's the year it's been for, for Baltimore. And, you know, this is a situation now where like, you know, your down multiple offensive line, you're now down, you're blocking tight end. Like, you really need to find an actually, let me quickly look up here. What the blocking tight end situation actually will get to that in the second part of the show because I do want to continue talking about the mark here for just a minute. Like, Lamar somebody that is super competitive, he wants to play and all that different stuff. But I think like, if the injury isn't going to allow him to be who he is. And that is obviously both a dynamic throw or anodynamic runner of the football, you know, and there is risk for re-injury. I'm not playing him. It's a tough decision, but like, you don't want to, you know, go out there and win a game against Atlanta with the more. And then after the game, it'd be like, oh, well, no, Lamar has to miss two months with a worse ankle injury. So it's just like, it's, it's this balanced situation, right?

11:25So I just, I don't know, it's tough. But, you know, the report from me and Rapp report makes it sound like, hey, there's a shot he plays, but it's not a very high shot he plays against the, the Falcons and maybe there are multiple misgames here. You just got to hope the rehab goes well, right? I mean, that's apparently this whole situation because obviously he is, Lamar is the heart and soul of this team. We know that. So, you know, there are different situations that have to be taken into account here. But, you know, this report from me and Rapp report definitely like, it's great. Hey, not long term, not surgical. That's a really good thing. That's the good news. But the bad news is, hey, if you missed a couple early season games and all of a sudden you go from three and one to three and three, I mean, that's not impossible. But, you know, with the schedule that they have and, you know, you don't want it to linger like Derek said. So lots of different questions and conversation points, though, come up with a second part of the show. We'll be diving into a little bit more on the more Jackson situation. 15:29that's tough. It's a really tough situation for Baltimore. You know, you're blocking tight end now gone. You got to find somebody there. So I don't know, it's tough and I see flocks saying these losses will haunt us come week 11. Well, I'm I'm I don't want to pencil in a loss in the column to what actually happens. You know, it's just the superstitiousness in me doing that. But you know, if they do lose in week five and week six and they do go to three and three, I mean, that's a pretty bad situation. You know, there again, it's not impossible for them to crawl out of that and make the playoffs or win the division. Certainly not again, like Lamar will be back this season. If he does miss week five or it does miss week six or whatever it will be, right? That was made clear and even Rapperepors report. But you know, am I saying that I always say is that, you know, September losses don't matter in September, but they certainly do matter in December. So you know, it's just it's it's really tough overall when when you have injury situations like

16:31these and, you know, I just I don't know, like you need to be able to have guys step up, right? Like that's a big deal. But you know, I think when you talk about the realisticness, if that's a word, if it isn't, it is now unlocked on Ravens was made it up. But you know, the realist's the situation with Lamar and how important he is and kind of what we saw against the Titans on Sunday afternoon, right? Where the Ravens entered halftime with 24 points in control. And then the game with 24 points and, you know, the game was a lot closer than it needed to be. So, you know, I just I don't know, there are a lot of different situations in this. I see Z-Maur saying, hopefully, he's a one-read quarterback, who isn't as fast as he used to be. He also can't push the ball on the field, you know, like that's something he can't do consistently. And it would have to be a lot of Derek Henry, a lot of short intermediate stuff. And you know, against this Atlanta team, that's just really tough. I mean, I don't look, I don't want to like project them to lose. But, you know, like we have to be realistic

17:32about it. Like I would not pick the right ones to win in a game where Lamar Jackson does not play against this high-powered Atlanta Falcons team. And look, the right ones aren't going to win everything we gave Miran out. Like it would be great if they could. But, you know, I had them at 13 and 4 coming into the season and, you know, they're three and one right now. So, you know, like, it's difficult to kind of assess where the situation would kind of be if Lamar doesn't play. But, you know, at the same time, you know, like crazier things have happened, I guess. So, let's get back to this my thing for a second. We'll look at three agent tight ends. Let's see who's still available here. This is over on a spell track. Zacharyts has signed. So, Taisen Hill, which would be interesting, will disly Tyler Conklin or Sadie's who still plays. Nick Vanette is on the Ravens practice squad. So, maybe they just call up Nick Vanette again. I don't know too much about Nick Vanette from being honest, but you do need a blocking tight end. I don't know. Travis Vokal,

18:33like a still in Arizona. I don't know. He's a free agent now. Travis Vokal, like that's a throwback. Travis Vokal, like he still, yeah, he's a free agent. So, maybe they're even bringing back Travis Vokal, like that would be something. Yeah, I mean, look, disly Conklin, I mean, Taisen Hill, all things doing too much for you at this point. Probably this is what they need. Therald Brown is an option. Maybe you trade for somebody. You know, Charles are having a bad season. Great for Charlie Kohler back. Just bring Charlie back into the equation here. You know, that's to me would be the ideal scenario. You get a guy who's familiar with the offense and, you know, like, honestly, honestly, that's number one for me. Great for Charlie Kohler back. Because you're going to need somebody like that in your offense. Obviously, I think is a much higher ceiling and floor player than the Rumsmith was or is at this point in his career. So, I just, I don't know. I just don't necessarily feel like there is. There are a lot of options. And that's kind of how it goes in season, right? Where

19:36you kind of have who you have in the regular season, you can obviously make that there are always like the Kyle Van Noy moves like Baltimore made in 2023. Like those always are there where there's a guy that's just sitting on his couch that will be able to, you know, go out there and perform really well. He signed like week three or week four and he just balls out. But I don't know. Like I don't, I don't really foresee a lot of that on the market right now, whether it's offensive linemen, tight ends. If you're going to, if you're air to Costa, look, let's look at the draft capital, you know, like you're not trading for a quarterback. You know, you have, huh? You have Joffaniano. This is why the Ravens kept Joffaniano around, by the way. This is why they kept them around. So Ravens draft picks for 2027. Let me pull these up real quick because look, my point here is going to be air to cast the has to part with some of these picks, right? He has to part with some of these picks. So let's see what we have here. I think that SpoolTrack has the picks here. Okay, so Baltimore has their picks one through five in this draft. And then they also, I think they have

20:44four comp picks coming in if I'm not mistaken. So they should have, according to this at least, they should have nine picks overall in this draft. If I'm not mistaken, I'm trying to quickly do this. So, you know, forgive me if I'm wrong. It does look like the Ravens, yeah, rounds one through five this year. And then I think the four comp picks coming in. So does look like they have nine picks projected this year. They also have a couple picks in 2028 that you could play around with. You know, you traded away, CJ Acquie, to the Giants for a 2028 pick, you traded away Diego Pounds, to the Chiefs for 2028 pick. So you could also look at those as well as options to be like, hey, we can move off of, you know, a pick in 2028 to go get an immediate upgrade now, right? Again, because like this season, the season is not over for the Ravens. If they make the right move, and if, you know, I know the health stuff hasn't broken their way so far, it hasn't for a lot of teams.

21:45But, you know, like if you go and do this, like the season is not over. It's still early in the year. Yes, three and three is a tough position to be in just assuming one more message to games and they lose both those games today. You know what? They could win both those games. They could win one of those games. Maybe you're four and two. That's okay with the situation for the more. But, you know, at the end of the day, I do think that Baltimore, it's a unique situation, I would say, because your schedule gets a lot harder after week seven or week seven and beyond. But like, there is a lot still left this year. And this is, this is the reason why like having a good backup quarterback is important, depending on how you feel about Tyler Huntly, a Joe Fignano, whoever, because in situations like these from Lamar, clearly based off this report, it's not long-term or anything along those lines. Like, you need to have somebody that can tell you, I mean, that's what, that's the whole point of what happened last year, right? Where Lamar misses time, Ravens season on the line against the Bears. And if they have Coupa Russian there, which they unexplainably did have them in

22:48there for a couple games. But if look, if Coupa Russia was in there and they lose that game, season's done. It's over. But, you know, what happens? Tyler Huntly comes in, he saves their season. And the big reason and the reason I'm saying that is because like, you need to have a good competent backup quarterback to help you win games so that when your star quarterback comes back from an injury, they're at a position to still make the postseason. Look, the Ravens ran until that final game, that final kick. And so Tyler Huntly, winning that game against the Bears, winning that gaming as the Packers, he did his job, right? He did his job in that moment, in that situation. So, you know, at the end of the day, I just, I think that whether it is Huntly or Fignano who starts, and again, like, I think it's going to be Huntly. Like, that's just who I think again. There are different opinions on who it should be. But I just based off of what I feel like, you know, I don't think Tyler Huntly is done in and to lose that job and the confidence in the building and Baltimore. So, I mean, that's why I assume it's start. You need Huntly to come up big here if Lamar can't

23:49play in week five and if he can't play in week six. So, it made, I don't know, like, we don't know the timeline right now. Lamar can miss zero games. He can miss four games. I don't know, like, it's crazy because like, what does long term mean? As long term like a month, because the internet and board saying it's not that. So, just so many different situations. And again, you just, the other big thing that we talked about earlier is you just don't want this to linger overall. So, come up with the final part of the show. 27:55I don't know I'm kind of like a four maybe three and a half not in terms of like is there a season over I'm that's not what I'm asking but like you know just terms of vibes meter right now it doesn't feel great you know definitely doesn't feel great and you know I think that there are a lot of different things that you know our factors when it comes to this but you know obviously the Lamar situation kind of how they look in the second half look seasons are not over and I need to like really stress this like I still have a lot of belief in this Ravens team but you know games early in the season you come back I mean we saw it last year you know like I saw it last year so I don't know there there's a lot to kind of look into we also know that you know the Ravens have been very close to the vest with the injuries the more obviously is a very private person so you know like I don't I'm not sure anything's coming from his camp either like I don't really know like look there's a shot Lamar Jackson suits up on Sunday goes out there in plays right that's not completely out of the realm of possibility here until he is deemed an active or there's someone from the team right this this is a report me and rap before is a very credible reporter you know

28:58one of the most credible guys you know I'm shifter of the go-to's right but you know at the same time like there there's a shot potentially you know I'm just trying to hold on to to any hope right any hope so I'm I'm hoping that even if he asked to miss this one game I mean I'd be a look if there's a compromise situation for me it's like okay right he can miss the Atlanta game don't love that but if it's for the health of his ankle then all right if it's for the you know just just resting him getting them back to as close to 100% or 200% like that is fine you know hopefully he's back for the Cleveland game and that's a big AFC North matchup and again like if you lose this game to Atlanta this is the best type of loss you can take again losses aren't great but you know the same time like you know there is there's a thing where I have like the rank of loss ranking system and so NFC losses are the best losses you can take if you take a loss because it doesn't impact
