A poche production. Hey, it's Katie Matten here, your new host of Your Morning Mantra. Today's meditation is about becoming comfortable admitting when you don't know something, instead of feeling pressure to always have the answer. Your Morning Mantra, I can say I don't know. Ease into a comfortable position and take a deep breath. Slowly stretch your neck, moving your head from one side to the other, releasing the tension, and let your shoulders drop. Take a deep breath in, and slowly let it go.
Put aside what you need to do today and take a moment for yourself. You deserve it. There can be a strange pressure to know the answer, to understand what's happening, to have a solution, or at least to look like we do. So sometimes we guess, we pretend, we nod, or we speak with confidence, about something we don't really understand. But there's nothing wrong with saying, I don't know. Those three words can actually open the door, to learning. They allow you to ask a better question, to listen to someone who knows more,
or simply admit that you're still figuring something out. You don't need to know everything to be intelligent, capable, or vulnerable, and you don't need to have an immediate answer to every question. Today if you don't know something, let yourself say it without embarrassment. I don't know, but I can learn. I don't know, but I can ask. I don't know, and that's completely okay. Today's mantra, I can say I don't know, repeat to yourself either out loud or in your mind. I can say I don't know. Carry this calm with you throughout your day.
You do not need to hold every worry. You do not need to predict every outcome. Just breathe and trust yourself. I'll see you this afternoon for our reflection. I'll see you this afternoon. I'll see you this afternoon for our reflection. I'll see you this afternoon for our reflection. I'll see you this afternoon.
I'll see you this afternoon. I'll see you this afternoon. I'll see you this afternoon. I'll see you this afternoon.
