We are week three, right? Yeah, yeah, it's It's crazy to leak is such a marathon, but so many things happen So often just think about how many teams are up at arms right now just trying to figure out their quarterback situation with all the injuries and those things

1:00Yeah, we are coming off for loss, but man we were positioned so much better than so many of these other teams Yeah, we'll get into the details of 20 to 13 On Sunday, but we were talking a little bit right before we came on Bucky I think we hit on something interesting that I want to get to Jaguars It was a tough out of sync game You know, I keep calling it clunky When I was sitting here trying to write about or I said no playing trying to write about it Usually I've been doing this long enough to sort of identify a theme and I can kind of figure out what happened or That's what I think happened and there is some clear threads, right? This one I thought Liam summed it up in the post game Sort of everybody took a turn you couldn't quite figure out Why they you know beyond the offensive defensive line obviously when you get beat which I thought both groups got beat Then and then everything turns clunky, but it wasn't even one reason for that and then they get the lead and

2:03You feel like okay, they're gonna grind their way to it and they didn't It just felt out of sync. I mean, I thought Liam said it best and that's what it felt like It did feel like it, but I believe If we kind of play the game from back to front meaning if we go back fourth quarter third quarter there's a Kind of like a three possession sequence. Yeah, where I feel like the game turned okay, so it's it's 13 13-3 they get feel goal make it 13-6 we turn it over They come back down and tie it is 13-13 we go down the field we miss a feel goal And then they get I just think the cumulative of effect of all of those body blows at the end I just don't think emotionally We handled it well in the fourth quarter For a team that prize itself in terms of being able to do things in the fourth quarter close games out we didn't close that game out and

3:03We will regret not being able to close out a winnable game because that game was in our grasp that game was like at the point Where we were ready to blow them out and we just didn't take advantage of the opportunities Yeah, I've got notes here talk about responding which I felt like we've talked about all week. It's sort of obvious But something you and I were talking about just before it came on in the air is really interesting to me But the Jaguars are a good team. I don't think Sunday changes the fact that they're a good team. I feel like they're gonna contend I feel like they're going to be able to beat teams this year that are not moving in one direction And by that I mean You know the Broncos know how they want to play the Patriots know they want to play their veteran good teams I think it's always you get teams. I'm not gonna call them bad, but they aren't ready to be there yet And I think they'll get back to handling them just like they did late last season now, you know, I don't know that but they did against Browns so but yeah, there is a

4:04There's another level here, which is what they couldn't do against the bills Couldn't do Sunday now they did it against Denver so you know, you can do it But getting that clunky win where I don't think if they'd won that game 20 to 13 Bucky They wouldn't have come out and told you hey, we played great But yeah, you've got that shot you haven't played great But you've kept them out of the end zone late in the first half and then you get up You've got a chance to go up 17 13 I Felt at that point like it was gonna be a game where I was gonna be writing Hey, didn't play their best, but this is a veteran team. The found a way to win Yeah, they're not that yet I guess I can say tonight that yet because they haven't done it last couple of times, but Isn't that sort of the next Step where you can grind this thing on Sunday 100% I think that is the next step and I think the big thing And looking at that game and and breaking down the game in terms of what I saw looking at the tape and then looking at the

5:08Stadsheet I don't think we played man I don't even think we played like a B plus B B minus B game. I felt like we were just all out of source from beginning on defense no pass rush leaky coverage Got some Critical stops early the goal last the goal line stand early was good help into a field goal had another goal line Stand where we had an interception, but if you really dig deep they were moving the ball Yeah, it's that quarter was getting away from you. Yeah, yeah, but we were stiffening up and we were making plays Then you know, we kind of work our way down find a way to take the lead It's 10-3 Things are going our way we get it coming out to have we drive it down the field and the ball is on the three-year line first And go and in those moments we talk about the good teams Good teams trying to wait to get to seven. Yeah, because a 17-3 game

6:10It's different forces them out of the comfort zone that they wanted to live in with Bo Nix Yes, somebody that's a great game. Yeah, yeah So the extra work what's the difference and I tried to explain to them the difference in 10 and 14 In the NFL these days situationally the way coordinators which Call plays is a mammoth difference and I interrupted you sorry go ahead No, I mean what you're saying is that it is a huge difference because when you down two touchdowns You're in such a go chase points mode Whereas when you're only down 10 you're still playing the game honest You're still trying to run the ball you still willing to do bootlegs you still have a Belief that the game will come back to you when you down 14 There's a heightened sense of urgency that if we don't score a three-score game. Yeah Dunzo well, so that's where it changes. Yeah, that urgency that you play with at that point

7:13you're leaking into the third quarter and If the Broncos get the ball Their analytics are telling them hey the Jaguars are gonna are gonna at least get a fuel goal the rest of the game Yeah, so we've got to start like we have to get three They're probably calling plays like they need three three scores somewhere Because you're assuming in the NFL these days a team is gonna get a fuel goal every two three times they have the ball at least so Yeah, this person tried to argue with me a little bit. Well, I wouldn't made that much of a difference. It's 10 and 14 I Agree with you they would have felt like they were playing uphill and you know throwing throwing more into coverage You're more prone to mistakes the whole thing so Let's go from there Bucky into a detail of the last look at the Broncos 20th 2013 over the Jaguars I guess what I want to get into off this game Bucky is offense only at one touchdown that breaks a streak of what

8:1411 games with 23 plus It was a tough day for the offense. Trevor has no TDs for the first time in says I think week three last year Was it all the offensive line struggles or where do you sort of look at with the offense? I Says a couple of different things. I would say upfront Right from the beginning it reminded me so much of last year's game where they got pressure on Trevor lines early Disrupted the rhythm of the offense, but man we were running the football effectively It seemed like we were able to run the ball and kind of do what we wanted to do Early in the game Parker was the big factor Has some plays early and those things and like John you been around the game long enough to kind of understand this when I say it So there's a thing in football called the toxic differential here we go. Here we go. Here we go And it's much of a place here we go It's not it's really from Brian Billy. So I can't take credit for it But is it's the combination the two biggest factors in winning games in the league

9:18turnovers and explosives We only have five explosive plays in this game and it seemed like they had them all day Yeah, and the thing about the explosive plays early in the game it directly released a points in this league Typically when you get an explosive play at the end of that drive There's some kind of point opportunity whether it's a field goal attached down in those things And so early in the game we had a drive where we had a park of Washington play We turned around and had another play where Jacob Myers made a play we did those things and so we were getting these explosive plays It is too hard in this league to just kind of grind it out over the course of a like a 80 yard drive to think you can get Fives and six is the entire time meanwhile on the other end Denver had ten explosive plays 10 I mean and Three of their runs and a explosive play by definition is run over 10 pass over 20 sure to you Yeah, and the fourth order it was it was all the ring game so for us

10:20We have to be able to generate more explosions and the only way you can do that is you got to protect and then you got a defeat coverage And I'm gonna say this because I do believe personally our boogie man Is when a team decides on the perimeter to lock us up and play man to man And they have the ability to do it without bringing pressure the Broncos were able to use a four-man rush Zach Allen was a monster on the inside. We had a tough time dealing with him on the inside and that made it Uncomfortable for Trevor Lawrence and because the Broncos were able to play like some two man and some different things We just couldn't escape and I know this and we'll talk. I'm sure we have a conversation about Brian Thomas Jr And the wide receivers and those things but for this team to realize this potential They are going to have to show Consistently that they can get open against man coverage if not it's gonna be tough when we play the elite teams Yeah, and I think that's

11:21Probably a thread that runs through Buffalo and this a little bit So I Feel like Parker Washington is going to be a Version of what he's been in the last in last couple games. I feel good about that. I think he's a guy I don't know if he he will be a guy who if the opponent says we are going to bracket and take away He's gonna dominate that because that's hard to do so You know with BTJ with a couple of drops. I don't think Brian would tell you he played his best game the other day So it's you know start here. He didn't play great He didn't play great, but here's what I think people have to be careful look because I feel like There was this this faction of the fan base that's just been waiting for him to drop a pass so they could go Hey, I told you so he's right back to what he was last year. I'll say this. This was not Cincinnati last year No of the drops First drop was Egregious got to catch that the second one

12:24Everyone sees the end of the clip where they see the ball hit it hit his hands But the comeback that he ran was right in front of me. I got to tell you the different and Trevor Lawrence this year Ended in the last year and previous years Trevor's throwing with more timing and anticipation than he's ever done That ball was well out before Brian Thomas came out the break What quarter you're talking about Yeah, like he's doing to come back. It would have been a big play. Okay In fact, it would have I think it was on the possession where we end up missing the field goal and He comes out the break the ball is right up on now High-level professional receiver you do expect them to catch that but it certainly was not as easy As the social clips are making it look at early that ball. I mean that ball is out now It's on the money this one. He has to get a save the right yes You got to catch that's not work. Come on. Yes. I mean, I'm not sick. I'm not saying that's a catch He but he has to get his head around quicker. Right that's on him

13:26But I'm just saying when people just showed the end of it. I think you just understand I got you a ball jumped on him But he has to know that and that comes from reps and practice knowing This look how early that ball is out that is a great throw He has to catch that but he has to make sure he gets his head around and he's prepared for that He has to make those plays now the other one that they're talking about with past sir tan that's not a tough catch Yeah, I agree that's that's not even a drop that the ball didn't even get to them They hit the back of Pat sir tan helmet those two drops are drops. I would say this on the sir tan play though I I think you gotta It's a it's a really really tough play to make um I don't see if you gotta be above the x nose and go get it I would see like so look at where the ball and yeah, you're right. You're right It's just such a tough thing now those other two 100% dead drops. I got you that's that's a that's a harder one But regardless here's the thing with Brian Thomas June

14:26Also, you got one of the best cornerbacks in league cavity. See it It's not fair to call that one you quote should have gotten I put but And he's done this because he raised the bar for himself his rookie chance When you play at a pro bowl level When you play at the level that his rookie season we were having these conversations that he might be the best one We've seen since Jimmy Smith in this uniform There's no time for a regression at because as a first round pick and a guy who has earned accolades You expect him to be the number one and at some point He has to deliver on that promise I love Parker Washington and all that and I do love the fact that he is kind of grown into being the number one But this offense will never realize his potential until a brunt. I think Liam's ability to push the lever and get what he needs to out of players Uh, you know, you would say well to do it every weekend. You win 17 games. That's you know, but you know I'm getting that I think he's really good at that I think they'll respond. I

17:33I'm not sure that they Didn't show up the other day whenever you lose in the NFL and you think you're good fans want to say well They didn't show up where they quit. I don't really believe that. I think they played hard. It just didn't play well I think they'll play hard on Sunday and I I think they'll play better Because I think they'll be in the sort of same situation the Broncos were in it I don't say desperate but urgency after a loss. I think that'll matter on Sunday too absolutely and Sometimes it takes a loss To get your team's attention Like Liam talked in the presser early in the week where you talked about like there was some of the practice things have been sloppy the attention to detail might have slipped and You have you're having success for it But as a coach sometimes it's hard to get their attention when you say hey guys We just a little off on the details. But you're looking at the one loss column and you winning After a loss Everyone is a little more open to taking the corrections and the criticism

18:34They're a little more open to applying the lessons that have been learned and shown During the film session and trying to get better This could be a great thing if handled the right way Nick Sabin always talk about don't waste the opportunity at fail you don't waste the failure Don't waste an opportunity to learn from the failure. So if we learn from it There's a lot to be gained now. Let's say this. Let's be honest as bad as it was because I think we played a great game You talk about a seven point game on the road against the team that I believe we all think It's gonna be one of the teams in the tournament broncos lost three games last year, but yeah, so they weren't gonna lose eight this year Yeah, and so for us you just have to be able to pick yourself up It look at exactly what it is and go and I like what Liam talked about you said everything is on the evaluation You look at the the game plan you look at the touches you look at the targets you look at the coverages and the schemes And what you eventually end up doing

19:35Is you flesh it all out and say what are the basics? I learned this from you leaning on your experience with Tony Dungee after the loss what we're Tony Dungee do Oh, let's cut all this down. We're doing too much. Oh, we start running one point. Let's get back to Let's get back to the basics and we're gonna be good at this this week Yeah, if we get a little better, then we're asking else. I think for us I think it'll be a deep dive Hey, let's just make sure that the things that we're doing are the best things for us to do miss makes you we have the best play calls for the week Yeah, he alluded to that either Wednesday or Monday. I'm not sure which day but When he said it, I was thinking okay, he's gonna simplify and that's You know, I mean it and that's always get Them Muck out and start doing what you do well. Let's talk about a Patriots team the Bucky. I believe it's very good I'm obviously doing Super Bowl last year, so I'm not breaking news there uh Drake may um Is a interesting story Because he's a young quarterback and young good quarterbacks

20:39Go through stuff like what he's going through right now, meaning he's still obviously really good But when you throw three picks in the open, you know The whole thing where is he what do you think? Um still a really good player, but I still think he is Impacted by the way he played in the postseason. I think he's still um is dealing with those those ghost or those Things that are hanging over he says a bit of a hangover and he isn't quite the confident player that he was for most of the last season That's it when you're playing a player who is as talented as he is Man, you certainly don't want him to get on the roll early because if he gains this confidence It can be a long day for the defense So what you want to do is make it hard on him early find a way to make it Where he's not able to stream together those completions and then maybe just maybe he'll do what he's done to first go gains Which is turned a ball over make bad decisions and not play like the MVP

21:39Runner up that he was the season ago I have this vision of them bucky because I don't really get a chance to see most other teams obviously mentioned that I do the jaguars I this vision of them is like this dominant running team with him functioning as a quarterback I don't think it's in it. I don't think that's necessarily right Uh, what are they offensively, you know, I know AJ Brown's out obviously Um, what are they going to count on what's you know How are they good offensively when they're good? Um, I think it's a combination of thinking I think it's the overall operation It's funny because without AJ Brown did a little bit like they were last year without a number a true number one And so this is an offense where The system creates opportunities more so than these guys winning on their own And so when you operate like that and you operate with a system Really matters more than the personnel. It's about everyone being on the same page And then it's about the distributor the point guard the quarterback Making sure that he trusts the progressions

22:40Doesn't try to get outside himself and make the plays kind of forced to place He just has to let the system work in the system will eventually create the opportunities that they he can cash in on Yeah, I guess the apple doesn't far far far from the tree I covered so many Patriots games back in the day when it was uh Patriots colds bigger out You know when the Patriots were a dynasty This feels very much like a A very similar operation to that which isn't surprising because that's where Vable got a lot of his football DNA It just feels like a a team that's going to beat you Uh, in ways that frustrates you at the end and you walk out of the stadium saying we should have won that game And they wanted instead Which was a lot I mean everybody remembers Brady with those great Patriots teams and he was obviously the guy But they won a lot of games that way where you didn't think they were better than you and then they beat you at the end so uh Always dangerous when teams win like that because they're well coached discipline and they beat you at the end Patriots defense uh

23:40I thought of this last night when I was sort of looking at them a little bit To me their front seven feels like seven variables Yeah In the sense that I don't know who the star is I don't know that you're sitting there circling one guy who's gonna beat you But I also know that when I'm playing them on Sunday There's there's gonna be seven guys all of whom can affect the quarterback and disrupt and they're always gonna play hard for 60 minutes Yeah, I mean that's what they do um They hang their head on how hard they play and they hang their head on their their high level of execution They don't do a lot if you really study these pages. This is the way the pages have played for the last 20-25 years Mike Raible has kept his simple We get the best parts of what they did successfully Underbilled Bella check and they just recycle it. They are a big physical team They're a team that is simple by design, but man they do it very very well They want to play man coverage on the outside to take away the easy

24:41Opportunities that you can get from on offense and then they want to make you Drive the length of the field. There's nothing complex about what they do They think over a 60-minute game they can now execute you They go out hit you and now execute you and they feel like if they do those two things they can win the game As well said now I said it What I was trying to say better than I said it which is why your name's on the show and not mine um so How good is Christian Gonzalez and as the ex scout Tell me exes and o's wise why he's so good Really good. He's on tall long athletic He is really refined as a technician He has a versatility to his game meaning he can play press he can play off He is hyper competitive He's added physicality to his game from when we last saw him at the collegial level at Oregon Just a really sound player from top to bottom and what he's going to do

25:43Is he's going to make you work and I think a lot of times the whole defense right? I mean he kind of reflects that I mean they are a blue collar Uh hardhead and a lunchpile defense. They go make you work and whoever he aligns on whoever he matches up with it's gonna be A long day where you're gonna have to compete and you're gonna have to love the the competition of it and how ugly It's going to be because when you play a team that operates like they operate with press coverage man to man They're gonna win some You know and you're gonna win some but man you got to stay with it because what they're hoping is that they can just wear you down To the point that you just kind of give up because it's tough sledding early in the game That's a great way to put it and I That's why I consider him a really really tough team to beat Because you've got to beat him meaning You know some teams if you get up on him They're gonna deflate a little bit and

26:44Give you something and they're gonna believe that well Yeah, this team's better than us To me the Patriots are a team that You have to beat them every quarter you have to beat them and keep beating them sort of like when Rable had Derek Henry and They would get behind with the Titans and he keep running It was one of the few teams I've ever seen they could run their way back into a game But I think it reflects what uh Rable's You know the identity of his teams is is hey, we don't care what outsiders say about the way we should play We're gonna play it on our strength. We're gonna believe this is gonna work and we're gonna keep doing it the entire game And man Those teams are the hardest teams to beat then have to be very well style But when a team knows how it wants to play and keeps doing that for 60 minutes and doesn't stop Those are hard teams to beat and the Patriots are Maybe right now the best team to leave it that Yeah, and there's a confidence in the way that they operate in terms of um

27:47You talk about the person what you're talking about is the persistence as a coach The stick to it of this to just stick to the plan don't deviate from the plan no matter what is looking like I just think about all those Tennessee Titan's teams that we played that didn't have nearly the talent right to match up But what he's a master doing is He will manipulate the game to get it to the fourth quarter and what he's hoping is that Your team is not fundamentally sound enough to do the matter if the game away And that's what they want to do and so you'll see them bleed the clock You'll see them play great situational football We've talked about the physicality and the workman like approach that they make you take That's what they do and they just feel like over 60 minutes You can't endure you can't last they go out work you And they go out last you and they can be the last team standing as well said again while your names on the show Back in a moment in a battle of I think strong defenses. This is huddle up with bucket ropes

28:48And they have a really good you know interior pass rush specifically, you know and then uh They they mix it up like three man rush four man five man heat you up play man coverage play fire zone. So You know You look at really the history of of you know coach Ravel and the defenses and how they've played I mean, it's very similar and a lot of ways to to their style of play and and they're usually a game plan There's gonna be a big game plan element. They double guys if they feel like they need to and Take advantage of matchups All right, welcome back to huddle up with buckie Brooks defensive coverage of the game presented by g H a government employees health association Benefits for federal employees and retirees and a bucket we've talked I think about the Patriots defense and Liam talked about it So I think we've covered why they're good Jaguar's defense I'm gonna talk about Travis Hunter and the rotation stuff

29:49Next but before we talk about that five sex in the opener none on Sunday I guess a point I've been harping on all week and it's sort of obvious again not breaking news here If you can't affect the opposing quarterback in the last seven minutes of a game It's hard to win and there's nuances of that pressure you can bring but uh You can stop the run and the jay was a great stop in the run But you've got to affect the quarterback and they didn't on Sunday and they have to on Sunday Absolutely and a lot has been made about that. I think the jaguar is over the course of the game only has six pressures And sort of felt like that Sometimes that doesn't add up, but that's how it felt Yeah, it couldn't win couldn't get home couldn't get in the pang didn't get anywhere around bo-next and Look man, it's the limit that you have when you're a defensive coordinator and part of the Conversation throughout the offseason and I hate using the work as everyone's tired of using the word sticky coverage versus

30:51vision and break but basically The jaguars were trying to make a decision Do they want to be a vision and break team where they sit off they play zone They rely on a four-man rush to get the pressure and then their db's or or second level defenders Look look at the quarterback q to quarterback react quickly and eventually Over time you get your interceptions off their mistakes tips and over throws and those things The problem that you have when you play that style is man, they're a lot of Underneath throws that are available and if it's a disciplined quarterback they can move the ball down the field well when you elect to go Sticky coverage more man-to-man and those things yes you take away the free access But you're more susceptible to the big plays and in that game Ten explosives are a lot of explosives jalen water on his own had three explosive plays Big plays that Changed the game they flipped the field they put you in scoring position And so you're right change again. Yeah

31:51defensive passing appearance on Travis Hunter Double move that jalen water did on Jordane Lewis, which is a great route, but it's an explosive play big play What are you willing to risk to try and make more plays are you you know are you are you willing to hit on 17 playing blackjack are you okay just staying and trying to play the odds at some point Anthony Kenbenilly has to make a decision Hey, how do we want to play what's best for the personnel that we have yeah, and sometimes we're in the course of the game you You know call it and it doesn't come up so um I guess the Anticdo to that what you're talking about is That's why past rush is so important because it disrupts and takes the pressure off of the situation you're talking about Which they didn't do. I mean it was it was a tough day defensively on that front uh I guess the solutions rush pass are better and That's something you're not gonna find the answer to on Wednesday at four you're only gonna find the answer to it on Sunday at one

32:55Yeah, but just I mean look it's the same question. I mean the personnel is the personnel And the harder thing is when you are 41 and 44 Josh Island and Trevor on Walker For them to really get loose you got to have one other person on the inside effect of it So Eric homestead is the one that everyone points to just given 41 sex But he's only had seven and a half sacks since he's come to Jacksonville Kenny impact the game as a past rusher on the inside or Are they going to have to mess with the rotation mess with the personnel thing where maybe you kick trademark inside and somebody on the outside comes Whatever it is It is a hard day for the secondary to hold up when you don't yeah impact a quarterback at all And it just makes it really really hard on the play collar to always have the blitz To get pressure that is just hard because at some point You're gonna get got and ultimately the jaguar's got got a few times against the blitz All right, I don't know how much there is to add to rotation gate um

34:01And I mean I've talked about it so much that uh I don't know how much there is for me to add on this show So I'll just throw it to you thoughts on it um You know I'll just open it up to our best analyst um Okay, so everyone is really upset about this um Why is it in Travis Hunter playing the entire time? Why they rotate and other guys in does it make sense? Where why they playing for corners when he was a second overall pick he should be playing all the time number one I have no idea what he feels like in terms of his Physical health coming off of the knee injury are they easing them back is this a slow acclimation Into the starting lineup where hey, let's make sure he's right before we put all of that on him to how well is Travis Hunter playing within the defense in terms of understanding what is being asked of him and Executing and doing exactly what is asked of him Three how good do you feel about the four guys who are rotating in Travis Hunter Monterey Brown joining Lewis and Jari and Jones

35:03Coming out of camp There was a sense that a man we have four guys that are capable of starting on the island Well sometimes Not normally in pro football But sometimes if you have guys that feel like that less roll them in so they all are playing they all have the experience We can shuffle and change everything particularly early when you're trying to I want to ease into the season But trying to get into the season so it makes sense I understand why fans are so upset about the Travis Hunter thing He is a playmaker he was a playmaker in Colorado There was a hefty investment made to bring him over but at some point The cost of doing business is not impact who plays and so without knowing if he's doing all the things that he needs to be doing to stay on the field At some point I got to trust the coaches. Yeah, there has to be a plan in place And if there was a plan in place for him to be a 100% corner then he would be there unless There's something that's taken place that's preventing them from making that four-time commitment to him being a corner

36:05Yeah, the One of the pillars of this team since this regime took over has been the The guys are going to play regardless of equity invested in them to be here so They're never going to change that and I think there's a factor here of When Travis is is playing and doing everything you're talking about at the level that merits Then a hundred percent of the plays will be there and so I do think that there is a a feeling of He's only in his ninth or tenth game in the NFL and He will build toward that level that we're talking about I know there's confidence in that I've I've gotten nothing from anywhere in the building That there's any kind there's any worry that he's not going to be a high level cornerback. 38:17I don't want to say that you have to throw these early games out because the good teams are taking advantage of the teams that are slow starters But you won't really know who your team is until about four games in yeah, and so this is The process where you go into the season thinking a this is This is who we're going to be and then you play some games And you're like oh, this is who we got to be right based on what it is and so the best may play and sometimes they go by the wayside because Your team is not ready to do the things that you are hoping to be able to do This is still a discovery process. I still feel good about the team I just think as we continue to play these early games in the month of September It's a fact-finding mission that eventually going to help us Down the stress and I tell everybody hey think about the way this team was last year And how things changed right after the by-week Because you take all of that information early You sit on you say okay, here's here the playmakers here the plays

39:19This is what we're doing to maximize the talent on our team We're still trying to figure that out because every team is different every year's different And to your point good news is they still lead the division you know You've got to stay afloat during this fact-finding time and be ready to make your run So they leave the division there to and oh, I mean, I'm sorry. They're one and one air be us is up oh and two uh Final Jaguars topic before we have one closing thought on the Patriots biggest thing they have to improve this week to win Uh biggest thing Gotta take care of the protection upfront with the quarterback because even if the defense plays bad Trevor Lawrence is playing at some level such a level that if we can protect them He can't be found the way to score. Yeah, yeah But if we don't protect them if he gets beat up and we're not able to run the ball It's a problem. So to me the offensive line has to step up and do those things um The other part is Who is going to be the guy that consistently wins on the perimeter? We talked For a long time about christian Gonzalez, but man, they got some other guys

40:22on davis and and some other players on the perimeter markis jones They're really good at what they do in coverage Who can win their individual matchups to me This is a game where Your best players have to dominate their box. They got to be able to dominate their one-on-one matchup Give me a vibe for how this game feels and what you think it'll look like on sunday I think it feels like all the other games that we used to play with the tenancy tights. It is a ugly Ugh For three and a half quarters until you finally get a breakthrough and in these games It looks it sounds silly it comes down to the fewest mistakes and so Last year last week we violated the don't beat ourselves principles the turnovers the penalties lamb got a penalty The big plays allowed and then the kicking game errors. No one talks about the kicking game error The miss field goal and then the bots kickoff return where we get the ball at the 20 instead of the 35 End of fourth quarter Those things are critical against good teams and so to me it's about making sure we have the fewest mistakes

41:30So we can give ourself the best chance to win. Yeah, you do that against good teams and you're sitting there going oh no Oh, and like there's that little feeling of okay these Some teams don't make us pay for that These make you pay so every time yeah, it's 60 minute.
