It's it's my worst nightmare So definitely didn't miss being out there as far as being a receiver and trying to catch the football But definitely miss that atmosphere and man what a what a gutty win Do quarterbacks like Carson Wentz or Caleb Williams have to take a little bit off the ball

1:13:55In terms of speed when it's that wet just because they can't give you the fastball every time You hope so but not always the case and then and then for them I mean I saw a couple of those throws that came out of Carson's hand and I was like oh that did not look good coming out of his hand But you know actually a few of them were completed and and one of them I saw was incomplete But it was actually on target but when it came out of his hand it was the one in the back of the end of Justin Where it just came out of his hand pretty ugly and spinny and not like a a good spiral So that's kind of what you deal with in those conditions Adam you've been a minister of Vikings fan your whole life You played for the team. 1:15:55It's like everybody playing so well together so locked in you don't see busted coverages Especially in a defense that's pretty complicated and there's a lot going on. There's a lot of different scheme But you don't see a lot of bus and I think that's really impressive And then the offense you know they get they got some ways to go obviously yesterday was not a Game that you could showcase what you can do on offense, but um, I think it's a it's a work in progress But they also know what it takes to win and I it was really cool to hear actually on the the I was listening to the game And they said it on the radio or on the on the TV that Kevin You know the the night before Told them that he's learning to just call the plays to win the game not to have the stats and to get everyone You know a thousand yards or all these things and and it was really cool to hear that because that's really difficult to do But at the end of the day, I think everybody on the team wants that you know not necessarily Sometimes as individuals like man wow my goals. I want a hundred yards or the this or that

1:16:58But at the end of the day if you win a football game who cares and everyone feels that way So it was cool to hear that and that's exactly what has happened so far Hi Adam. 1:17:59two days ago we we had like football practice in the rain Uh, we just kind of got a bunch of buddies together because our game got canceled We just played a little scrimmage and they were kind of asking the same thing like hey, did you wear gloves? You know what what did you do in the rain and I kind of walked him through the process but basically I would start out with the rain gloves and then eventually you'd realize that those are terrible and they're actually More slippery and then you'd kind of just go to the old old school no gloves and it was it was a mental Grind through that game because then it like would stop raining then you're like oh, should I put gloves on? Should I not should I put the rain gloves on because the rain gloves work for like a certain amount of rain Like if you're in Seattle and it's kind of misting Like perfect because they're kind of they're leather and they kind of just like get sticky if they're a little wet But as soon as it's like that where it's like raining raining and it's been doing it the whole game It's you're just better off with no gloves And then at that point you just have to have a new towel every series put it in there try to keep it dry

1:19:04um And and then yeah just fight through the mental battle of like hey like I can catch the football. I'll be just fine You end up doing I told my my oldest son I was like just body catch it like don't don't worry about making these like sick, you know Handed one handed catches things like that in the rain like do it ever it takes to catch the football And so for us as receivers a lot of times if it's on your body and it's not above your head like just Body catch it, you know, just catch it right in the chest squeeze it in and and make it work All right, let's one quick follow it because I was actually talking to a couple of the interior defense alignment after the game in the locker room And they were just talking about the the footing out there and they actually felt pretty good out there because they were wearing the The screwing cleats now I know the skill position guys which I'm going to put receivers in yourself in that group Hate using the screwing cleats and weather like that like did you go with your your molded 12 studs or did you kind of Did you switch up your cleats and then did you go with the longer

1:20:05Seven studs and how did that affect you? I strongly disliked the seven studs So I tried everything in my power not to wear them There was a few games that it was like yeah, you're wearing them the equipment staff didn't really give us an option And one of them was after we played in green Bay a few years ago. I think it was Kevin's first year And he told us before the game like hey, we've checked the field of conditions You have to wear the seven studs and in that game we were slipping and sliding everywhere because a lot of us did not wear them And he was so mad after the game and it was really because he told us it's like as a parent right when you tell your kid Hey, whatever you do not do this do not do this do not just you say it three four times and then they go do it After they do it you're like See I there's a reason why I tell you not to do it and so so I was kind of oh They're the worst they're the worst and you actually end up tripping a lot because they're like so different than when you're used to And you kind of just you know, you don't pick up your foot all the way or or maybe it's when you're kind of

1:21:09Coming to hit the ground and you you stumble a little bit So they're they're terrible. That's why I hate playing it playing in green Bay on that surface and and obviously Chicago as well Even when it's not rainy it's you got to wear them.
