This is the Power Trip Morning Show. Hello. Hi. Howdy. Howdy. Hey, hi. Do you guys almost I think always when I say hello, it's a little bit sarcastic, right? Otherwise I say, hey, hey, hey, man. Hi. Hello. It seems a little bit. I don't know. Yeah. You're a nice guy, but you're not really known for your warm. Hello. Exactly. Thank you. Well said. Hello. I'm going to say it like you're nice guy, but I'm going to be like, Corey really lit up the room. Yeah, no, for sure. Well said. Yeah, I don't have that welcoming energy. No. I don't think I had to tow an all black helps because it looks like I'm the grim reaper anyway. Yeah. Hi, John Creasel. Hi. Good morning. Hello. John, you light up most rooms. I try. Yeah, you really do. I try. Especially for speeches.

If people want to book you for speeches, where do they go? I'm going to Creasel dot. See, we inverted it. Normally we say that at the end of your run, now it's the beginning of your run. Yeah. We'll do a sandwich. We'll say that the end sandwich it. Sure. Well said. Going to be a fun show today. Again, last day without silent Chris, he'll be back on Monday, but he'll be a part of the Vikings broadcast on Sunday. But basically six days of silence for medical reasons. We'll get the full breakdown on Monday and how that went. So no Chris today again, but John Creasel's here. That's meets us. Paul Lambert. I'm Corey Cove. Uh, Mr. Z at six 20. Marney Gellner around seven 20. Uh, golden goal for basketball coach Nico Medved somewhere around seven 30 giver take, which is going to be awesome. Nico's super nice. Uh, and then initials. He'll, he will play initials and, uh, that'll be at eight 15 with $125,500. Potentially up for grabs with the same Paul Federal Quarate Union initials jackpot. Hell yeah. 25, five.

Hello. Hi. Hi. I was saying hello to the jackpot. Yeah. That's a lot of money. It would be really nice to literally say hello to it. Yes, I love it. Yeah. As it goes into the bank account, that's some solid NIL money for Nico. That is. Hell yeah. Nico calls in. When's the jackpot? He's a philanthropic guy. He likes to give away money. He gives it to one of his players. Well, I'll be rigged. Yeah. No, are these NIL places of 501 C3 usually? I don't know. Ask real estate agent Paul. I'm not sure. What was the question? Are these NIL bits? Are they these collectives that you can donate to? Are those 501 C3s? That's a very good question. I, me? Are you asking me? Well, though, that is a good question. Like if you were, I have no idea. Like if some of us have works, you know, let's say, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, let's say some, if someone's tired of supporting actual charities,

right, could they donate to an NIL collective and still have the tax right off? That's a very good question. I wouldn't do it. But technically donating money, though, right? But you can donate money to a lot of things that are technically 501s. And then you don't get to, it doesn't count as a deductible. Oh, it doesn't seem like it should be. I don't, I don't think so either. I'd have to listen to the other side of the argument, but I, I got a hard time believing you should get a tax right off for donating to a sports team. I agree. Yeah, but I'm sure like the people at like Ohio State and Notre Dame that put in a ton of money into a booster program, I'm sure there's a way around it, right? There could be. Those people are donating a ton of cash. It says for the local organization here, that organization is structured as an LLC based on the advice of legal experts, given the structure, memberships are not taxed, deductible, nor considered a charitable donation. Okay, good. Seems fair, very fair. That's logical. Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Loophole's galore. There's a lot of them. Loophole's galore. Yeah. Johnny K, what's new with you? Another thing, just to have busy speeches. Yeah. When's deer hunting season? It is about a month from now. It's the first weekend in November. First weekend in November. So we have that. We've got my first in-person Vikings game of the year. And I mean, the meat grinder trying to get an extra field pass to get cloned down on the field because she's going to the game. Her first regular season game is a not infant. She has been participating in the Vikings junior cheerleading camp this week. No, it is the cutest thing ever. And those cheerleaders are the best. They treat these girls like royalty. And she's so excited last night. She was watching the video to practice some of the routines tonight's the rehearsal. And then they will be on the field pregame for Vikings dolphins this coming Sunday.

So it's going to be awesome. It hit her. She goes, that is the actual field that the Vikings play on that Justin Jefferson gets to be on. It's a police play Sunday. She's going to be maybe in the exact same part of the stadium where Andrew Booth used to cover receivers. Think about that. Yeah. She might walk the same thing played the same. Yeah. Sure. Can we back up for a second? Yes. First week of November. That's power trip in TI. I know. I will not. No. Yes. That Thursday's when we're going up. Unfortunately. Son of a bitch. For the first time in a handful of years, I will be in Las Vegas for power trip. 25th anniversary. Love it. Can't wait. That's the important. If you had to pick one of the two, of course, it's going to be a better. Sure. Just sucks that, you know, TI's just a hop, skipping a jump from cottage grove. That's a quick drive for you to join us. But you're going to be shooting deer in the face. Yes. So we got to go get camp set up. TI is not close to red lake falls.

So how far is that drive? For me, it's about five and a half. Whoa. As a poke. Straight north, northwest. We're in the west. Northwest. Yeah. Top left corner of the state. Yep. You're near Crookston. You're about 40 camps, about 40 minutes from Grand or international falls. The Grand Forks. Grand Forks. How did I have to speech up there? How do I forget? No. County, I see the administrator is a listener loves the show. Is it international falls like straight north? Is it like dead center in the middle of the state? Well, we're on the state line. Is it? It's like nor pretty straight north straight north slightly east, I would say. But yeah, ever been. Yes. Oh, really? Yes, just across, if I remember correctly, it's been many, many years. I forget. I forget. Yes, sure, right? Yes. Right. Yeah. I haven't been to most of the state. I say this all the time, but for a guy who has lived here his entire life, I don't know

the geography of Minnesota nearly as well as I should. And it's such a close, beautiful state. We have so many things to offer. You look at the North Shore where it's rocky, somewhat mountainous. You've got Lake Superior. That's stunning. It feels like a different state. Northwest Minnesota, where I deer hunt. Wide open, farmed fields. The only trees are basically to stop the wind and prevent field erosion. Southwest Minnesota, you've got farmed fields, a little bit of rolling hills. Southeast Minnesota, you've got rolling hills and river. Then you got the boundary waters. Then you got the Twin Cities. Yeah, the boundary waters. Southeast. He hasn't named it yet, but you want me to just finish your story? Yes. We have Newport. Good old Newport. I caught the end of that. Oh, he just laid into Newport. I got excited that maybe the arena was going to be there. Then I looked into it. I was like, no, they just wanted to take shots at Newport. Newport sucks right now because the whole road is closed.

Newport, you can't get anywhere. If on my lunch break on work from home days, I want to go grab a sub. I can't go that way. I have to go get on the freeway, go past it, come back. I don't have time for that. Yeah, ain't nobody got time for that. Are we sure it's not mythical? I've never met anybody from Newport. Like, hey, where are you from? Where do you live? Newport. Not once. The only time they've really been in this news relatively, yeah. Jesus. No, there was that, there's that motel there that they finally kept, they finally got new ownership, but they all let greasy people stay there. There was police standoffs all the time. Locals? Yeah, pretty much. And so they've cleaned that up. So Newport's quiet now, which is good. Yeah, that's good. Quiet is good. Yeah, good for Newport. The Vikings you mentioned are hosting the dolphins on Sunday. You'll be there. I will be there for for a for a clue doing the cheerleading.

And of course, as you watching the game, I'm so excited. Huge favorites, right? 10 and a half. I think was the last time I looked on draft King. So big favorites of Vikings are three and oh, the dolphins are all in three. Your thoughts on your three and oh, undefeated, but offense less Minnesota Vikings. If I got a nickel for every person that has come up to me in the past week and been like, worse three and oh team in NFL history, I would be rich. And these people are crazy because this is not the worst three and oh team in NFL history. This is a team with an outstanding defense that has every other offense just losing their mind. Our offense has completely underperformed, but we have a brand new quarterback who is in a system unlike anything he's ever played in. I don't think he is Ginoch Allen, but he's better than he has played. It is only up from here.

This is a perfect week to get them back on track to this is what the doctor ordered. So I think the Vikings cover this weekend. I don't see how the dolphins score many points at all. And the Vikings will score points, even by accident of the defense could very well score points. But I like the under in this one, but I like the Vikings to easily cover. Same. I agree with you. I think they'll dominate this should be like a 24 to three situation. Yeah. Miami shouldn't even score. No, they should not get on the plane. Yeah, they should destroy that. Are you going? Yeah, I'm going. Yeah, yeah. Are you? No. Hey, I'll get you tickets and I'll pay for him. I have a pair I paid for. Do you want them? Why don't you give them to me later? Okay, but I paid for him.

That's great. Why don't you give them to me? After the show. Okay. And there's more people around. Okay. And tell everyone I paid for him. Radio for four. Oh, you'll love it. I can't wait to hear this one. You'll love it. Got her helmet. Yeah, got her helmet and got her helmet and men.com. The leaves are coming tumbling down. So get those gutters protected by Gotter Helmet and Gotter Helmet and men.com. The tree falls in the woods and nobody's there to hear it. Did it even make a sound? Of course. Sound has to have a receiver. Man, what a conundrum.

It's a purple Friday in KFN to give you a chance to battle for a pair of tickets to see the Vikings battle the dolphins in US being stadium to Sunday. Here's how open a free IHRATUAP tap the red talk back mic and say Oh, we can't tell you that. That's not till six. Alright, we'll tell you at six o'clock with the coaches. Yeah, don't say it yet. That's the 11 minutes away. No, not. How do you transfer the tickets? Don't worry about it. Just want to come upstairs and I'll show you. Like win. And the most people are around. So won't be the mid-Sip. No, not today. It's Friday. It's Friday. Correct. What happened to Rebecca? My daughter loves that song. Did she pass? No, not please. Chloe's alive. No, we have to blackstill with us. Well, thank God. Amen, sister. She's doing well. She said the varsity theater on the 24th of October. Wow. Wow. So think of what kind of demo is that crowd?

Do you think so? Because you see Rebecca Black. Did you guys give me tickets? Oh, buy them. Perfect. For Rebecca Black at the varsity. Yeah, I'll buy them. Thank you. I have to have Abbott show me how to transfer them, but I'll buy them. You shouldn't have told. varsity one of the hidden gems. We say it all the time. It's actually an awesome place. Never been. Never been. Not a huge venue though. So I mean, it makes sense. It's not like she can sell out the armory. Is that that's on hand up in right? It's on campus. Oh, it's on campus. They have not. What's the one on hand up in? We went to Paw Patrol live there. Skyway. State theater. Oh, yeah, probably the state theater. I don't get to that town much. Oh, he's. Have you if you guys was the Paw Patrol like, uh, like indoor park at the mall of America. There when Chloe was. Oh, yeah. And she would be there's awesome rides around and she wanted to play in the Paw Patrol adventure

Bay. Yeah. So you took Lou dog there yesterday, right? And when you said to everybody, you loudly announced to the entire fifth floor what you were doing. Yeah. And, uh, you said you were taking Lou dog to mall of America for rides and even I, I'm a diehard him aware, but I'm like, man, it's been a while. I'm like, what is there for almost two year olds? What did you find? Most of them on a Thursday morning are closed. So, uh, what do you mean most of them are like most of the little kid rides are like unmanned. So they're closed and the little kid rides specifically. Yeah. And, uh, we just kind of walked around the park because I, I, you know, we're at that stage where like, there's that like bus that goes up and down. Yeah, sure. He's like, uh, said Dora or Diego or it's one of, I think it's a door of the explore, but who knows? I think he's a swiping or swiping too short. And I, you know, I didn't want to bring him over there, do the whole bit and then we won't

go on. And there's a no. Yeah. So we just, we, we walked around. He, he found a little, there's this at Lego land. There's this whole area of just playable Legos and he found this little Lego car and he walked around that for like 20 minutes. He had a blast doing that. Yeah, he loved it. We had a little area of Lego land is essentially like a drug dealer. You can relate. It's like a drug dealer giving somebody a first head. Yeah, yeah. It is literally come on, come on and kid, try it. Come on in and play with some Legos for free. And then come in and you had a bite right then they walk around with the Lego truck for 20 minutes and then they pointed the big giant store and dad's out $300. Yeah. And all the buzz and toy story stuff is right up front. Sure. Yeah, that's a pretty penny. Yeah, but you know, it's for four kids, four and older. So we didn't get it, but we had a fun time that we went up and had lunch at Shake Shack, Smack Shack, Shake Shack, whatever the burger spot is up on the bit. Shake Shack. We saw a picture of Uncle Nordo, this yeti thing outside of the golf bit.

We did a couple of laps and on the way out, and he ends you are correction. Why would you send me pretzel points? Yeah. Oh, I said I didn't want the receipt. Oh my god. I love it. What's wrong with you? I would have loved it though. They were switching over. So they were in the process of making new ones. We got handed a bunch of free pretzels because there's like, we have to like, we're making new ones. Do you want these? And they were like, I bought obviously a cinnamon sugar one because that's the best one. Elite when you gave them to Lou, did you say I paid for these? Yeah, I said here, here's some pretzel points. We have to call it a Corey so we could join. I'm not sure. And you don't have the app? No, I don't have the app. What are you talking about? Yes, the ant's pretzel app? No. For as often as you go to Vegas, you need the app. I don't. Yeah, but by the time I get there, I'm either mad or you know, I don't get the pretzels at the end. You got to get one for the flight home. No, whether you're up a billion dollars or down a billion dollars, you need to eat your

feelings. I could California pizza kitchen. My god. It's wrong with you guys. Monster. Get the app. Get some pretzel points. Act like an adult for two seconds of your life. It's brilliantly located because right when you walk it on that third floor, I think it's Florida. When you walk in through the sky, there's one above the other one on that end. There's one on the second floor and third floor now because I couldn't on the way to the other. On the way in and I'm like, ah, damn it. And then on the way out, I'm like, I got to get it above underwater world. Right. And three have any ends right there. So it doesn't matter where you park. If you're on that side, the what east side of all of America can't escape it. It was let let big pretzel have your data. Yeah. Okay. And let Uncle Corey have the pretzel points. Yeah. Well, but we had fun, man. Sounds like you got free pretzels anyway. Yeah. Man. Yeah. It was, it was fun.

It was a, it was a fun day with my little boy. And then we went back and we both took a long two and a half hour now. A good time. I would have won that. Yeah. It was great. And then on Monday, he starts daycare full time. So big day for a ludic. Yeah. What does that mean for you? I got to find the hobby because a wife's going back to work full time too. So I got to find a hobby. Probably play a little golf. Yeah. For like a mother. For like a mother. Yeah. Got a month though. But then what? Probably play a lot. I'm going to play a lot of indoor golf. If I like simulator golf. Hmm. Because no walking. Well, I need to lose your ball. And so probably do that. I'll probably join like an old man simulator league. So yeah, I got some things on the docket. Yeah. And we're under two months away from Grand Theft Auto 6. And while Ludox out at daycare, learning, you can be shooting prostitutes. Yeah. Correct. We're under two months. Yeah.

Under two months. It's the week we go out there. Sure is. F1 weekend. I mean, your PlayStation. Potentially. I don't know. It's hard because I don't have enough much time at all to do it. But yeah, what buy you the game? Will you? Yep. Oh, wow. Now there are no physical copies anymore, right? So you're going to have to transfer the file to his PS5. Abit will show you how. How bogged down is the that network going to be when everyone's downloading it right when it comes out? That's why you need to pre-order it because then they'll let you download it like a few days in advance. Oh, and then it won't activate till it'll be a lot of loading. Yeah. Well, that's smart. You're jumping in, right? You loved Red Dead too. I don't have a PS5. I have a, I think you have two months playboy change that. Yeah, playboy. I don't have time. I was too much. I don't think, think of think of how hardbroken you were when Arthur Morgan, all right, P, right? Don't. I'm having a great day. You're going to feel the same way about Grand Theft Auto again.

You have no idea what you're missing out on with GTA V and Trevor. You would have loved Trevor 10 times more than Arthur Morgan. No, no. Yes. No, he's good. No, he went to war with 37 different Trevor's. You know what I'm saying? Those are his best friends, Trevor's. Yeah. I'm telling you, man. I know. I just, you're going to love it. Arthur every day. You're going to love it. You got to do it. You got to do it. They're all busy. I'm busy as hell. I'm just going to have plenty of time to stab prostitutes with screwdrivers. Plenty of time. And if not, you'll make time for it. Right. All of my waking, unworking moments are going to be stabbing prostitutes. We've got football on Monday night, Thursday night, all day Sunday. Yeah, but like last night, Brown Steelers. I watched it. No, that's time to just run over random pedestrian. I was going to go to sleep and then the game got crazy. And I stayed up for the whole thing.

Yeah. We watched the first half. You got to watch it. That game bangs. It'll be over before you know it. And that's the thing is that you got to sit there and realize we asked for this all year. Don't take it for granted. Enjoy it. If it's Browns and Steelers, you got to watch it. Yeah. That's what I say in my speech as I say football is here. Because I'm not paying. You need to enjoy it. I'm not paying to watch the wild. No, that's absurd. I didn't see it either. I went to watch it. I went to watch it and then it said, well, there's a seven day trial. I was like out of principle. But I love the wild. They're not like the one like the baseball team. No, I love the wild. I will spend money on the wild. But same. I spend a ton on Amazon. Yeah. I'm Twitter was pissed. Well, there's plenty of other teams that are on there, but they provide it for free if you pay for the two of them. Oh, out of six. 33% solid though. But that's because that was that they're in a whole different situation. They were that was a last second addition to Amazon because that was the they were on

that victory plus that the links run. Oh, and they went away. And so how much does this cost for the wild? Yeah. It's 1999 a month or I think there's a yearly option as well for the whole season. Yeah. And then this one with the wolves, daison or whatever. The zone. The zone. I think that I will guess. It's the stupid. I mean, it's just the does zone. Who's gonna call it that? Does zone? It's so dumb. It is. And that was probably the end. I think that's similar pricing. Yeah. Yeah, I'll get that. I love the wall. Because nothing to watch the skull. You might add 88. Can you imagine my dad going, hey, why don't you come on over to my house? Well, watch out the wolves on does zone. Go dad, just. No, dad. Can you just say we'll watch the wolves? That's one that every when I get a new TV and it's you're setting up which apps to have on there.

I always uncheck that, but it's always recommended. I'm like, I don't know what this is. Yeah. And now our squads can be on there. Well, if you didn't see the wild last night, we'll talk about it right after this during front page sports. We'll tell you if they won lost scored, didn't score. Maybe listen to it on the fan. You might have, but if you didn't, if you didn't, there's absolutely no other way to figure out if they won or lost until you come back and hear it from us. There's no other way. Let me have a ways. Very easy. Can't think of one. We'll break it down after this power trip. Morning, show on the fan. From the 1-800-Ask Gary Traffic Center. This report is sponsored by Verizon. The ocean delights us. Hell yeah. Circle K app, let's go. I wonder if they're all going to be Circle K if every holiday will become one, because the color scheme changed. I see. Just maybe very slowly, so we all learn that they are the same, but those are the nicest. Those are so nice. The best. Zach, the Minnesota Wild One, their season opener, three to one over the Nashville to

catch your predators, Nick Folino, Blake Coleman and Corilla Caprizov with goals for the Minnesota Wild Ball Stead with 19 saves. Don't forget the wild have 21 of their first 31 games on the road. So she truly like the first month and a half is just survival mode, right? With this many road games, if you just stay afloat, a lot of home action, the rest of the way. So with a flavor too, that's right. Maybe for some of the season, most of the season, all of the season, we have no idea, right? What the timeline is. Yeah. 21 of the first 31 on the road. The predators, 0 for 4 on the power play, Zachary. Yeah, dominant win for the wild last night for those who care. The wild, I mean, got two goals in the first period by his, you mentioned Coleman and Nick Folino as you would guess. And then finally, their goal scores got into play when he was with a beautiful chef in the point that was redirected in by Carl.

It could have been even worse. I mean, they like to sit at the specials. The second half of the game, they were in full control. So good start. I much needed good start for the wild back home on Saturday tomorrow nights here at Grand Cousin Arena. Going to be a rock in building here, a team that like I said, as good if not better than last year. Hopefully, like I said, get some more news on a couple of defensemen on the team, both one that's playing in both one that doesn't. So this is just off the top of my head, but I isn't Blake Coleman's like what, 34 or so when I didn't he play for like New Jersey, Tampa and Calgary, something like that. That's all off the top of your head. I'm just free ball on it, you know, seeing if it works. Is that who is he supposed to be the replacement for from last year's team? Like what role is Blake Coleman supposed to fill for us casual hockey fans? Oh, okay. Oh, wow. Thank you for your honesty. Yeah. We're really going to go into hockey deep die right now.

I'm just curious like is he a thank you for your honesty? Is he is he supposed to be a major factor minor factor? What what what line is he on? I just he's I guess I don't know a utility guy. He definitely has some. He will help on the defensive side and and on the forward side sides. I don't know. He's he's a good penalty killer. So he's just kind of a like I said, a utility guy never heard of him. Never heard of Mike. Yeah, he's from like Plano, Texas or something. I feel like he's like 5 11 1 99 give or take. That's impressive. Man. They host Boston Saturday night right here on the fan, the home opener tomorrow night, Minnesota wild hosting the Boston Bruins. Sweet. And sports are awesome. Yeah, sports are the best. I mean, some of you want tickets score. Not this weekend, but thank you though.

It's very nice of you to offer. I'll buy him. I believe you. I mean, I'm sure you have people you could take and just give him to me. I'll buy him. Okay. The Vikings begin to the Vikings. They host Miami Sunday at 305. Why not put that in a national TV slot, but it's right here on the fan. Of course, a pregame starts around one. The Vikings are three and oh, the dolphins are 0 and three. If the Vikings win and go sub 250, they would be the first team in the Super Bowl era to win four in a row with under 250 yards of offense. It's never been done. They won all three this year with under 250 total yards of offense. If they do that on Sunday, they're the first team to ever do it. Miles Price named NFC special teams player of the month. Hell yeah. He is the hang on one. Do do do do do. He's the seventh now. Seventh player in yeah, because there's one, two, three, four, five, six.

So there's six others. There's six other players under KOC that have won NFC player of the month by their offense, defense or special teams. Six others. Six others under KOC. Oh McCarthy. No. Oh, special teams. No, no, no, no, no. Player of the month. Oh, yeah, all right. Justin Jefferson has just in Jefferson, November of 22. Sam Darnold. Darnold September of 24. Addison. Corcorco no, Addison no. Okay. Grinard. Grinard, November of 24. Oh, Isaiah Rogers. Nope. That was just the one game, right? I was outstanding. Ridiculous. That's so good. Oh gosh, gosh, gosh. Grinard. Daniel. Daniel, you guys are good at this. Daniel Hunter, October of 23. Gink. Nope. Disrespectful. Hawkins. Nope. One is defense and one is special teams.

The defense one would be an unbelievable poll if anybody remembered this. Will the thrill? Will the thrill December slash January of 25. 25. So now defense. And this is the one, if you guys can pull this one. October of 22. Of 22. Ooh. Harrison Smith. Nope. Um, well, you're half right. Oh, okay. Which Smith then? It's the guy who's played for every team. Oh, it's a derriest. Is it derriest Smith October of 22? Before, yeah, that dude just gets tired of. Yeah. He was like my dad with marriages. I've had it. I've had it out here. Bye. You take care of him, kids. Yeah. Miles Price is pretty electric. Yeah, he's great. He is. And it's one of those were in the preseason. You know, this guy flashed, this guy flashed. He is fast.

He gets a couple blocks. What do they say gets his foot in the grass? Yeah. That was good, man. That was much needed. That was the difference in the game. If you had to pick one team this weekend that is a double digit favorite, the only two double digit favorites. Wasn't there another one? Hold on. Well, there's, uh, oh yeah. You had to take Baltimore against Tennessee. Baltimore's an 11 and a half point favorite or the Vikings is 10 and a half point favorites to cover. Who would you take? Vikings. Because I don't think the, I think the Titans will score some points. Titans are off. They are awful, but the dolphins are awful and are going against a historically good and unique defense. Yeah. It's a terrible offense and they're with their one star is out for the year. Yeah. So how about this if you had to bet? We've mentioned this a couple times this week, but in his now two plus year career with the Minnesota Vikings will the thrill, right?

He has never missed an extra point. He is 75 for 75, right? And his rookie year, he went 38 for 38 last year, 31 for 31. So for this year, six for six. We'll say you had to bet $10,000. Do you think he misses an extra point in 2026? You have to be right. Which side of the better you on that he misses or that he continues to never miss? It's tough. Well, I would say no, because if you look at the current rate, how many extra points is he going to be taking? Yeah, well said. That's fair. It's going to be fewer than in years past, right when he had 38 or 31. And that's not going to be a last year. Making a joke, that's just I would say no that he doesn't miss. I would say the same. Yeah, he's a lectric man. And it's just you don't ever see it's not like the Joe Nathan, like facial expressions and ticks where you're like you make a mean for this.

Relax, relax. Oh, yeah, he's just automatic. Yeah. I have to think the right mathematical answer is that he will miss, right? Just based on percentages. This year? Sure. Right. It's like, you know, it's like what's an extra point percentage across the league? And I know he's exceptional. So he's way above average. But what is it? 90, 90 is percent. Maybe he's from that distance. Maybe a little bit more. Oh, probably low 90s. 95 and 96 between you and 95 and a half and 96. So obviously the pre-twenties, what's they changed it? There has been a lump at times as low as 92.4. But okay, that's what I would have guessed. And that range. And that's why that's guys that are on a team because there's an injury and then you've got guys like Will the thrill. So I would say, let's say that even, right?

He's going to miss one out of every 20 on average, even though he's never missed so far, right? If he kicks between 20 and 30, he's supposed to miss one. But he's amazing. He is amazing. Will the thrill? As long as there's no TV cameras on a wire. Well said that we'll get in the way of an extra point. Do we have, let's see, I have not done a deep dive, even though we've mentioned it a thousand times on the schedule. Let's see here. Now we're at Green Bay in November. That probably is fine. Middle of November at New England, middle of December. That could get dicey for weather. And then at the New York Jets January 3rd, that could be very greasy. Yeah. So a couple of maybe two weather games this year. If we don't count Green Bay, middle of November, again, you never know. That could be, that could be greasy. It's going to be cold, but it might not be greasy. Otherwise we'll see. Yeah. So otherwise, a lot of home games.

Yeah. Hell yeah. This weekend's games going to be elite. I'm very excited for it. Yeah. They should get back to what they are. As I've said all week, this is as close to an FPS team as you're going to play in the NFL. As John said, their best player is out. The rest of their offense is awful. Their defense is a bunch of no names. They mascot got kidnapped. This is a Malino's on, you know, doesn't know where he is. Let's, let's, let's not sell and ice at owners. Come out fast, punch them right square in the mouth and they will quit. The fans will be into it. You slap them in the chest real hard and then like bonus at a Vegas bar, bonus at a Vegas bar or your uncle, but I'm the only one that can do that to those belong to me. Those are jobs. Well, details at kfn.com slash Vegas. Based on our ratings 25 years ago, almost no one listened. So out of those 14 people, how many of those 14 have actually continued to listen for the last 25 years? And a number maybe five. I would think they're all listening. All right. So the five of you who have listened for all 25 years are still listening. Fantastic. But everybody else that is joined for even a part of the last 25 years. Thanks. And hello. Hello. That's awesome. One person who has listened for the vast majority of the 25 years, because he's been on the show forever as Mr. Z. Hi, Mr. Z. Hey guys. Yeah. I was just thinking that 20, uh, yeah, where 20 years we've gone here. So I will be hopefully we'll be out there in Vegas and hang out with y'all. Awesome. No, I liked you. I knew that you were going to make the right choice. Uh, let's talk some films. Speaking of choices, Tom Cruise getting ripped for his choice, I think there's there are not a lot of people that are

raving about his new movie digger. He plays some kind of, uh, eccentric billionaire that's potentially about to ruin the world. And save the world or something simultaneously. What the hell is this movie about? Yeah, you're pretty close. Uh, digger, it's called digger. Um, I remember the first time of, uh, digger is a Warner, but it's a Warner was a so excited to present this. Then they showed the trailer and it was like really, um, uh, the, uh, I digger is a, uh, yes, it's, it's a guy who's a larger than life. He's very politically important. He's in, you know, uh, so the biggest problem with this movie is that where the studios have started to figure out that we don't want to go out to movies to watch the news. Um, that we want to kind of the movies are an escape for people, whether it be horror or comedy or sci-fi or whatever. Um, and, uh, and this movie is very, uh, very politically, uh, making a statement in an important movie, um, rather than a good movie.

So, um, uh, yeah, and everything is very over the top. Um, and whether digger can, you know, got us into this mess and is going to give us out of this mess kind of thing. So yeah, it's, it's going to be, I, sometimes there's movies that are forgettable. This one I think will remember, um, I, it's possible. This movie doesn't do 10 million dollars. Uh, it's going to be, it's going to do that poorly, uh, at the box office and it'll, it'll be, uh, something that we'll remember. Um, Tom Cruise isn't in a lot of flops. Like, I mean, I know like I just googled it. There's a few that I've never heard of that I didn't even know he was in, but like, I'm shocked. He's in something like this. Like he doesn't do like Todd like, uh, you know, top gun, that movie. The second one, Maverick was outstanding. Now this movie just looks awful. I can't believe he attached himself to this.

Yeah, I think it was fun. I think as an exercise in acting, um, I, I think it was fun to dress up and, and the, uh, to create this world in these really cool sets. There's the movie itself as far as the filming and, uh, and the set design and the acting and everything that, the all commendable. It's just, um, falls flat. And I don't know why Cruise did it. Well, and again, I mean, Cruise is kind of nuts, I think. And so, um, who knows what he was thinking, um, uh, when he took this part. But, but yeah, I'm not sure either, but it is fun. I think he had probably had fun doing it. I just don't think the audience is having any fun watching it. You also know it's bad when he's on every talk show during the week. He's making the rounds for sure. You know, it's bad because Tom Cruise doesn't need to do that. And when he's on the Jennifer Hudson show, you know, the spirit tunnel. Yeah, how about that? Uh, just for fun, Mr. Z, try this.

You go first. Everybody else can follow up. Uh, I just went to your favorite website, Rotten Tomatoes. And, you know, they're not, uh, they're not raving about digger. It's like some, isn't in mid 50s, like 54%. What do they say is the lowest rated movie in the filmography of Tom Cruise? This is going to make somebody super mad. Oh, you know what? I was just going to, off the top of my head was just going to say days of thunder. Nope. And I don't know if I, okay, because we're dating. I thought, oh, it'll be really mad. But, uh, okay, yeah, I would have guessed days of thunder. Nope. Lowest rated movie. 11% for Tom Cruise. What movie was 11% and one person listening specifically, I think, is going to be pissed off. It can't be cocktail cocktail. Son of a bitch. It's 1988's cocktail is 11% on Rotten Tomatoes. Wow. Raged. I've never seen a bad sweet. It bangs. And it's got our song in it. Cocomole. Cocomole. Bang makes it. Yeah.

And then you've got peak Elizabeth shoe. Yeah. How is that 11%? That's probably why the peak lashes of up 30 years. She's pregnant. Yeah. Greasy. It's a love story for the ages. All right, Mr. Z. If we're talking about movies getting ripped, I've seen some scathing reviews on Verity. I don't know anything about it. I've seen the trailer, but man, there's some people saying that this is just slop that they just missed by a mile. Wow. Yeah. Well, Verity. No, most of a lot of you have heard of Colleen Hoover. She's a famous author. Not for everyone's taste. And a lot of her movies, it ends with us was kind of the last one. Aren't good, but they serve a purpose there for a certain audience. Here's the thing with Verity. Verity was really close to being a good movie. Like, man, there are parts of it. Okay. So Verity is very, like, almost like a Hitchcock type film,

where a young woman is hired to be a ghost writer for a famous author who is incapacitated for reasons. And so she ends up in this world. And it's like a mystery, like a Hitchcock mystery with Josh Hartnett and Dakota Johnson and Halfway. And it's so close. It's not good, but it's so close to being good. And it's going to do a ton, well, not a ton. It's going to bury digger. I would guess 30 to 40 million dollar opening weekend on Verity. And it's not for everybody. The people who know Colleen Hoover are going to like it. And the people who don't, it misses the mark. But I will give it credit. It was close. Almost was a good movie. Dakota Johnson can't act. So that doesn't help. Yeah, I know. Well, and her character, I guess if they write, if her character is kind of a monotone character.

And so it didn't stick out of how bad she is as an actress because she seems to be playing that part fairly okay. A shy person, if you will. But yeah, I don't know what whether she can act or not. Who knows? So this is one of your favorite things, Mr. Z. When a movie goes straight to Netflix, that normally means that it's not good. Socks, a Russell Crowe led movie called Unibomber, 27% on Rotten Tomatoes going straight to Netflix, but Unibomber, a breakdown of Ted Kaczynski's life. I've never heard of it. That exactly. I didn't even know what existed. So yeah, the reason that Netflix movies usually stink or any of those is because the way that they were able to get some of these big stars is they offer them, hey, we only need you for two weeks. We'll get you in and get you out. And so they do a lot of one shot takes. And that's why you can sometimes see it. So we see these big stars come in and make these streaming movies.

It's not so common anymore, but you can tell that they should have spent a little more time had a few more takes, but they only needed to come in for a couple of days and then they were let go. So that's why it looks like that often. One last thing because I saw this clip yesterday, it's going viral a little bit. You know, Nicholas Cage for the last 70,000 years has been saying that he wanted to be Superman, right? That was like one of his, yeah, one of the Superman. Sure. He was at some panel and I don't, I didn't see the full context. I don't know what question he was asked. I just saw his answer, but he basically said that the MCU is nothing but waiting for like older actors now to get into CGI fights. And he said it's essentially a well-funded WWE. Wow. And everybody laughed and clapped like, yeah, basically it's garbage. It's just, it's just cartoon fights. But I'm like, wait a minute, that's been a lot of his career. And again, he's been begging to be Superman. I know that's DC, but I'm just saying he's been begging to be a superhero

for a lot of his career. He was ghost rider, but still, I don't know. I just, I just, I have all people to rip the MCU. If that was a sincere rip and he wasn't saying it's sarcastically, maybe I'm just missing the tone because I didn't have the full context. But it seems like he's making headlines for ripping the MCU. What am I missing here? Yeah, I don't, I don't know. Well, number one, I like Nick Cage. I don't know if he's a smart guy or not, or whether he's a opinion on the MCU matters. To me, here's the MCU is, it's just like a movie genre in itself. It's like any genre and there's some good ones and there's some bad ones. And I think it's fun and it's easy to take a shot at it, but I don't see any, I don't think it makes any sense because there's some really good. I mean, technically Spider-Man brand new day as part of the MCU. And I really, I really liked it. I thought it was a well done, well-acted, it wasn't old, whatever he said, old people fighting or whatever. So no, he was in, what was it?

The flash, which flash wasn't as bad as everyone says it was, but because the flash went through all those different universes, when we look at it, Nick Cage as Superman was in that. Exactly. The CGI thing. And I don't know, kind of like that. I thought it was funny. Well, last thing, you know, what's his name? To Nick Cage, forgot to say, I was almost lost his name. There's a guy on Instagram, his handle is Eric Comedy Anderson. So I've been laughing about this guy for months. He does Nick Cage impressions and he just walks around looking for clues like it's national treasure. And it's so funny. His, if you just listen to him, you can't believe it's not Kate Nick Cage. It sounds exactly like him, but he just points and stuff and goes, Clill, it's so good. He's convinced he's convinced he's part of the reason why they're making a national treasure. Three. But one of my favorite things about Instagram is when you click on a profile, you're like, I wonder who follows this person, right? And if it's again, if it's an attractive gal,

there's a couple of usual suspects. So like, oh, that guy doesn't understand that we can see this. I just clicked on Eric Comedy Anderson and two people that I follow follow this guy, Bobby Moynihan, formerly of Saturday Night Live and Ryan Donaldson. Of course. Anyway, if you want to see an unbelievable Nick Cage impression, Eric Comedy Anderson, I think the guy's obviously name is Eric Anderson, but it's completely worth your time. It's just hilarious. It's so good. Yeah. Yeah. Well, that's on the great. All right, Mr. Z, you're the best dude. Love you. All right, guys. Good girl. Later. All right, there he goes. For Eastbound Front. Hi, welcome back to the Power Trip. Morning, show. Let's dive right into what really matters presented by Ovo LASIK and LENS. Go get LASIK from Dr. Mark Lovanov. Dr. David Owhiting the great staff at Ovo LASIK and LENS Ovoi.com. Thanks Ovo. Yeah, thank you. All right, so Chris Hockey won the Power Trip parlay last week. He went four for four. I was a half point from it was that half point. Yeah, Ravens. Ravens, the Cowboys and Rio. How about that did flip it? Greasy. So, um, so the pot starts over. He scooped 100 from each one of us. This week we all throw another 50 in and start over. It carries over every week until somebody wins. You have to go four for four. Pushes don't count. Remember that obviously. You can't push. You have to have all four go your way. Chris is going with the dolphins plus 10 and a half against the Vikings.

The Titans plus 10 and a half against the Ravens. The Niners minus three against the Broncos and the Panthers plus three and a half against the Lions. Anybody else want to go? Yeah, I'll go. Yeah, I have the Giants plus two and a half at home versus the Cardinals. I have the Packers minus three and a half at Tampa. What a kiss, S. Yeah, but they're playing a backup undrafted quarterback. They played Michael Pennix in his first game. Well played at home. The Niners minus three against the Broncos and then the Saints minus two and a half against Atlanta. All right, I'll go next because I overlap with two out of your four. I also have my Niners minus three. I have the Giants plus two and a half as well. I'm going to roll with the Bills and the Chiefs. Again, the Bills minus seven and KC minus four and a half. I think the Raiders run. It doesn't like, doesn't my homes historically just own the Raiders?

Yeah, I know they're better than they have been over most of my homes as a career with Kirk. Oh, right now they're playing really well, but I think he just historically, if I'm right, is like a bazillion and two against the Raiders. It's something insane. So those are my four. Creasel. All right, I have the Jaguars getting two and a half at Cincinnati. Jakes are playing well. Yes, they are. That is the only defense that is actually better than the Vikings and scoring scoring. Yeah, I think they're 12 points a game on average. We're like 13. It's early, but still there. I feel like we're number one with the bullet, but they're actually ahead of us. So Rams laying three and a half at Philly. Texans laying three versus the Cowboys. Broncos getting three at San Francisco. I'm on the other side. Yeah, I love the Niners,

but the Broncos are pretty damn good. And Bonyx is settling in. If he can start decent, then it's always second half come back. So who was it on Twitter the other day that said this? I don't know if it was local or national again. Why do I not screenshot these things when I know I'm going to reference it at some point later in the week. So I don't even know who to give credit to, but this is not my take. This is somebody else's take that watches Bronco football more than me. If somebody on Twitter said, if you watch Bonyx, there are times you're like, this might be the worst quarterback I've ever seen. And then one drive later, you're like, this guy might be the best quarterback in the league. Yeah. And then the next quarter, you go, this guy shouldn't be on an NFL roster. It just swings back and forth to the extremes between he's unbelievably good and an absolute disaster. Yeah. So let's hope he's an absolute disaster against the Niners. It's the the Niners are so banged up. That's the issue. Uh, man, yeah, always there. Uh, I just, I just

was looking at it. Their injury report is on. It's like three years straight. They just can't stay out of their own way. They are a loaded roster that cannot stay healthy. Bose hasn't practiced all week. Mike Evans hasn't practiced all week. Dre Greenlaw hasn't practiced all week. Another one of their wide receivers hasn't practiced all week. Two other defensive ones. It's just ridiculous every year. Yeah. So yeah, that'll be that will be interesting. I texted those to the group so they can be sent to part of the bets. He passed away. Oh, but what really matters is this, here are some Las Vegas facts. Cause I don't think we've talked enough about uh, Las Vegas. That is correct. That actually Chad was telling me that yesterday after the show that, say, okay, you guys okay. I'm like in terms of what? What is going on with Vegas? I go, we can help you out. This is according to this website. So it may be updated, but I'll just give it to you anyway. And I would guess John would know this. What is the oldest hotel in casino when Las Vegas should

be golden gate? You are correct. The home in gate hotel in casino originally opened in 1906. And that is owned by Derek Stevens who owns circa. And he went to the east. I see the golden gate. I've never met him. He seems all golden gate downtown. Yeah, it's right across the street from circa. Oh, hmm. Don't they give him a verb in it? It's greasy. I bet greasy as hell. He's fresh and it not. It used to be real greasy. Oh, yeah. Real grease. So yeah, uh, your turn, Coralus. The Phillies, uh, lose to the brave six to two. So John bonuses Philadelphia Phillies, or at least Chrissy bonuses. Philadelphia Phillies are out the door. Atlanta wins that series two games to one. They hit three home runs. Chris sale picks the final inning and a third struck out three. So Braves moving on Major League Baseball is off today. And then all four series start tomorrow. That would be White Sox at Cleveland, Atlanta goes all the way across the country to the Los Angeles

Dodgers of Anaheim. The New York Yankees are at the Tampa Bay Rays and your dads are in Milwaukee. Let's go dads. Yeah, go dads. But what really matters is this, how many people enter through the Nevada, California border by car daily? Geez. I mean, that's a large ass border. But it's mainly that one main road from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. 15 or whatever. Yeah, that's I think it's going to be more than that. Um, let's go. Into Nevada. I would. Yeah, yeah, I would guess. 42,000. It's going to be more. It's going to be more. Let's go because it's the whole border, right? It's not just that stretch. Yeah, but I always suppose to go into Reno from let's go 180,000.

Yeah, I'll I'm going to adjust mine because I didn't consider the Reno aspect. I'm going to say 115,000. We still might be short. Maybe significantly short. 2004 20 should have kept your first answer. John 44,700 people enter through the Nevada, California border by car daily. That's it. I honestly would have guessed what I did. I did guess way more. That doesn't seem like enough. The Reno to Lake Tahoe. Well, no, that's not a ton of people up there. But that's so pretty. It's Reno, greasy. Yeah, parts of it are it's really like the downtown greasy. Yes, but the area is growing a lot of businesses have moved from California to Nevada and they're building on that side of the border. So it's tons of jobs. It's growing like crazy. It's cool. Really nice. The Reno Aces ballpark is fantastic. Do sweet. 44,000 divided by 24 hours divided by 60 minutes. 30 a minute.

Let's just what this says. I didn't make the number. Go for his versus Michigan 11 o'clock tomorrow morning. The Michigan Wolverines and the battle for the little brown jug are five and a half point favorites. Both teams three and one a chance to stack some wins. You got to do it. We've been saying all week. Sure, they're probably still better than us. But this is even a slight down year for Michigan. And if we truly believe, and we don't know this yet, but if we truly believe this is a slight up year for the gophers, if we're slightly up and they're slightly down, this is the gray area where you have to snipe them. There's years where it's like, all right, they're one of the three or four best teams in the entire country and we're not. We I don't say deserve, but it makes sense when we lose by three touchdowns. It's not going to make any sense if we lose by three touchdowns tomorrow. And gotta just win. Let's just find a way to I don't even want to say let's keep it close. Let's just win. Big noon kickoff is in town. Yep. This is all eyes are on dinky town. So show up.

Well said. But what really matters is this the biggest, the largest sum anyone has ever won on Vegas slots was how much? Was it 10 million on mega bucks? I'll say 12 million. I'm going to say yeah, 10-ish million and like a wheel of fortune. According to this website, it was 39 million at the Excalibur. Excalibur. Corey never could have won that. Take that core. What year did it take? I mean, they do well because there was the one somewhat recently. I feel like it was like 10 mil. Well, that's insane. Is it worth it? Because you win 39 million, but think of your medical bills. Yeah, you get scurvy. Like you lose money with taxes, you lose money with medical bills. Sure, you won 39 million dollars, but you basically break even. It's not even worth it. Correct. All right, Parrish, not here today. Hawkeye not here today. So,

Creasel, we're going to play with you. Straight face it. K-Poker face it. So, sorry, you willing to bet a cany-acke either way? That Creasel knows that Jalen Durin signed a five-year 200 million dollar deal. That's 40 million dollars a year with what NBA team? Does he know who Jalen Durin plays for? No. Are you willing to bet or you're saying? So, you are willing to bet that he does not know? Yeah. I think he watches a lot of sports center. He's on Twitter a lot. He probably follows the ESPN app or the SI app. He probably follows Shams. I'm willing to guess that he can. Okay. Are we betting a cany-acke? Sure. Creasel, we have a cany-acke on the line. Do you know the team that just signed Jalen Durin to a five-year 200 million dollar deal? I don't, but I will guess the clippers.

Damn it. Yes. Yeah, I just thought you were on social media enough to know. I haven't been in the past few days, but Jalen Durin caused me a cany-acke. Jalen Durin plays for the Detroit Pistons. Pistons. To be fair, if Parrish and Hawk were here, he would have asked him what sport he plays. Right. They would not have known. That truly would have been, we could have argued or negotiated. Let's give them 15 guesses. What side do you think they'll be on? We would have argued. He's the closer for the fairly. They wouldn't know. I don't think they would have guessed the pistons within the first 15. No, no, no. They would do what they always do. Someone would say Sacramento. Philly. Austin. Yeah. Oklahoma City. Lakers. Yeah. Yeah. Parrish would guess the wolves because he would think that we're trying to trick him. Yeah. Yeah. And it would have been the pistons. What really matters though is this? By the way, that's a man. Jalen Durin 40 million. What really matters though is this? The biggest roulette bet in Las Vegas history was made at the Golden Gate in 2010.

$250,000. I'm gonna guess $250,000. I thought you guys were tired of guessing. So I just told it to was it. I actually think I would have guessed more. I would have guessed more. Way more. What was it on? Was it on in the it doesn't say it had to have been on a color? I don't know man. If you're betting in the color, 250,000 seems low to be the top. Like how is that? If you're getting those odds, why wouldn't you if you have like a million dollars just just get them red? I mean, you put that on a number and you're in the casino, I think, would take that bet all day because they're it's 35 to one. And so yeah, just in the off chance it hits, they're going to pay a ton. However, it's extremely unlikely to it. I guess that I think if he said it was a quarter of a million. Yeah. Yeah, I think that had to have been in because there's had to be larger bets on those colors than 250, right?

I don't know. So how's where do you find that stat? On Golden, hold on here, goldengatecasino.com. Well, hang on a second. All the stats so far that you've said are basically from Golden Gate. Are these just their records? I mean, you did have the Excalibur bit, but okay, that's making more sense if it was just the most it's ever been betted back. You know, all I did was Google lost Vegas random Vegas facts. I just can't believe 250,000s even close to the record. That seems way shy. Does it not? How does how is Drake not bet considerably more than that on a spin of roulette? Yeah, there is that I don't buy this one. Okay. Radar is up on the skepticism. Anybody else? Zach, you're with me. I'm the one who first called. Yeah, no, you're right. Seems way short. I guess that there's not can't tell me there hasn't been somebody in Vegas who has thrown out. I mean, there's like Drake. So here's what I found.

This has a little more details on it. In Las Vegas, the largest roulette bet ever taken was for $250,000. It was on November 29, 2010 at the Golden Gate on Fremont Street by the cast of MTV's The Barried Life. Their objective was to take 125,000 betted on even money bets, red, black, odd, even on the roulette wheel and let it ride three times up to a million. Their first 125,000, about one give them 250,000, but they lost the 250,000, all about and that was that record, record setting, but bet losing. Because I think the max is 10,000 or 20,000 at most spots. Because of that variance, I'm guessing too, it's like, yeah, because if that's the max bet and you put it on, I'm going to go on it. That might be on the casino floor. There has to be a private game that somebody has bet way more in a casino, though, I'm saying not just so is this just casino floor? This is probably the not high roller room.

Because I'm sure they've made they will break whatever rules for these people that give them a shot at a ton of money. Let's break that record in November. Let's have a power trip. Let's pool our money and bet more than that. Let's do it. We get all of us and all the listeners to pool our money. We'll have the greatest roulette bet in the history of Las Vegas, Nevada. I like it. 250,000 and one. Sure. Whatever it takes. The news is next. Marney Geller and like, 20 minutes, Nico Medved in like 30 minutes or so. And then we'll play initials at 815 with 125,500 dollars up for grabs. So when somebody wins that jackpot at 815, they go take it to Vegas, put it on odds or evens. When that bet then put the second bet on red or black and already, they'd be over the record. Hell yeah. Love it. Do you want to be richer? Do you want to have the record? Or both? Go bigger. Go bigger. Go home. Power to morning. So returns after this on the fan.
