The Go Birds podcast is sponsored by Ashley America's number one furniture and mattress store. I can only hear like background noise. Welcome back. It is the midday show. To Douglas, Joe, Julia, we're live today from the Passingic Avenue, Leake Street Arches Warlow location, a Philly theme bar in the heart of London with five local Strutland details at Passingic Avenue dot com. I'll tell you who I know we're in London. I'm very aware of that. It does feel like we're home. Right, though. Oh, one to the right. Oh, back there. We put a little shrimp on the barbie. No, that's not straight. That's all straight. Yeah. Yeah. No, it is at home. It like we're getting like random Eagles chance of stuff. It's a it's a lot going on over here. Yeah, it doesn't the shrimp on the barbie thing is definitely not. Yeah. That's that's a different place. They call them prawns down there anyway. Yeah, I don't want to know what that's all the meat they have it on the menu prawns.
Yeah, they did. And there's also there's like a big huge market here with different vendors and there was their prawns there too. So we are there. But inside this bar, it feels like we're home and joining us now speaking of home. Everyone back home. And this is treat. Because I mean, we have Elliot and our show once a week. We're going to have Elliot the rest of the show today. He is live with us here at Passing Avenue. Elliot. How you doing? What up? How you guys doing? We're good. Well, we're good. I mean, the Eagles have changed the last three left. They have, but it does feel like home walking in here. This is a very Philly theme bar. I never expected it. You got the stained glass of Bobby Clark of of of Brad Lids. Yes. Lot of Eagles fans here. You got to love their Wi-Fi name is Super Bowl 52. I mean, that's perfect. The commitment is there. Yes, it is. I don't know if they've heard about the cam trade yet over here, but the morale still seems high. It's that what they're doing. Eagles chance as if the Eagles aren't in rebuild or punting the season. Well, they're not. Well, I could see why they would have, you know, high hopes though. Yeah, but I mean, it is a rebuild. They're trading away starting players on the team to teams that are trying to win the Super Bowl this particular year. It's this the signal to me from how he's quite clear.
We're we're looking towards the future, not the present. Yeah, I disagree. I think the signal is if you're willing to dramatically overpay for one of our players, like we're open for business. I think even if the Eagles were 4 and 0 and Cam was still playing the way he was playing, they would have made this trade. To me, this is strictly about the price. I don't think this is about not believing in the team. I don't think it is about punting on the season. When you get a second round pick for a player who lets be real, Cam Jerkens is not played well last year and a half. And look, I like Cam Jerkens. Like I still think he can play good football. I think if he came in and played center, you would see him improve as the year went on when he got used to playing the position again. But a second round pick is a price tag. You simply can't turn down. So I don't think it's about punting. I think it's about taking advantage of a team that was willing to overpack. All right, but see here, so I I understand your perspective, but I disagree on that there were 4 and 0. Like I threw this at one of our callers a few minutes ago. If there were 4 and 0 in the top five offense, do you think this is attracting a starting offensive lineman? No way. Well, I think it depends how Cam was playing.
If Cam, if it lets say the season played out almost the same way, but they had a top five offense. But like Cam was playing the way he was playing. Yeah, they would have still traded. I think they are precedent. Like one of the Eagles sell when they're good. The best precedent for this is there hasn't been an interior offensive lineman shout out to Tucker Bagler. An interior offensive lineman traded for a second round picks since 2011. At least it might go back to 02, right? Yeah. So this is a dramatic overpay. There's only like maybe 12 or 13 players on the team. I wouldn't trade for a second round pick. And so you you take all that kind of consideration. But he was the other thing. Like Cam wasn't helping. So this idea that they're punting, they might have had to bench Cam if he kept playing the way he was playing. So if they would have traded like Don Tavian Wicks or how about we use Tereq Wolland one year deal Dallas Goddard one year deal Zach Bond essentially one year left on his country. I mean those names could be the next to go in the next few weeks. And if they go, then I think you're talking about punching right? Depending on what they get back. But those are guys that you sell at the deadline if it's not going well. To me,
this is truly an instance of they got a big price. Now that's also separate from what I think this team could accomplish the rest of the season. But I don't think Cam Juergen's sways the outcome of this year as much as acquiring a second round pick. Okay. So here's I think there's two ways to frame the same conversation. I don't think they're punting the season because I agree with you. The cams out that good anymore, right? They may actually be upgrading. So I don't think the season's going to go from, I don't know, where were they going to win? Eight or nine at this point based on how they're playing to five. Like I don't think he has that kind of impact. I'm with you. But to me, their priority is in the future. In the last four months, they have moved off the AJ Brown and Cam Juergens for 2020 eight picks. Like they didn't do this the last five years because their priority was to win the Super Bowl each year. He just feels like their priorities are changing on the fly to where this year doesn't mean as much as future years. See, and I don't necessarily believe that Joe. I just believe that everything is changing. And I feel like that cam was somebody. He was a liability at this point for whatever reason. Yet someone gave a second.
I picked for him, which is why, but he was a liability here. Yeah, right. He was a liability here. And I know for a lot of people, they're pointing to the fact that, you know, it might be the running game. But the running game was antiquated last year. It was a little out of date last year. And, you know, Coach Stalin was here and he was a part of that. The passing game has not been where we wanted to be for three years. And when you look at it like that, Coach Stalin was here for that. So I don't know if anybody can honestly hang their hat on that aspect of it, because you know, people say, well, if Stalin was here, he'll be here. I don't even know if you can hang your hat on that aspect of that. I just think that this is the direction that he was going and they're trying to salvage the rest of the season. But also you bring up the fact they got a 20-28 pick for AJ, right? That's because that's what they could get. I think if someone was going to trade them a 20-27 first, they would have been in on that. Or 26. Or 20-10, right? But nobody wanted to do that. So I think the 27 pick obviously, because it drafts his view as being very high. I think the AJ thing is separate from how they view the team. I actually think if AJ was willing to stay, they would have considered keeping up. But I think the where I will agree with you to a certain degree is I can
make all the points I want about the value of a second round pick. I can make all the points I want about Cam Jürgen's not being that good anymore. The locker room is really where this matters, right? I don't think fans should feel they've punted. I don't think people here at Pass Young app, people that are making the trip should feel they punted. I don't think they should feel they're definitely going to make the playoffs either, but I don't think they should feel they punted. I do think if I'm a player in that locker room, I'm sleeping with one eye open right now. Right? That's what I say. I would not be comfortable. Well, not only just that, like I think this ties into it a little bit about not feeling comfortable in that building. Andy Dalton got Benchoff one pass. And I'm not saying Andy Dalton deserves to be a factor. Because it's your guy, Andy Dalton. Because I made that point early, from now I said I got to the man with the play. I'm saying if you're a player on that team right now, can you show up to where it can feel confident in your job? I would be a nervous. You would have to. But that's what they want. But that's on a team trying to win the strip bowl this year. Well, that's what they need to probably do, Joe. I said a few weeks. I said last year, I said you need to be comfortable being uncomfortable.
And they've gotten real comfortable over the last couple years. Maybe this is what they need it. Maybe that's why how we did it. Yeah. He's trying to send a message. But there's a difference between not not trying to win the super bowl and not being able to win the super bowl. I agree. I think they are trying to win the super bowl. They paid to reek woolen a lot of money on a one-year deal. They have the highest paid right back in the NFL. Like here we go. I'm sure this is an old show. I think that they are trying. I just don't think the Cam Jerrigan thing, it's just strictly, I don't know. I think it's something you own that you love. You might not sell it. But if someone came up and said I'll give you whatever for it. Yeah, everything has a price. And Cam Jerrigan's that price was met and then and then some. And not to mention. And not to mention. The guy was on some videos. She's here. Not to mention like they also have young offensive linemen they're excited about. I think that's part of it too. Well, that is part of it. All right, but let me ask you this. In any other, when was the last time they sold a starter during the season? That's
how so crazy. But I did. Well, let me ask you this. Let's say someone called up and offered a first round pick for Jack. Yeah, I would take it. Okay. So what day? But that's not, but would you feel you're punting on the season because of that? No, but okay. Like the price has to be factored in here. If they traded him for a fifth and I'll be completely out. What's the signal? They're signaling to everyone. The futures more than the present. How is the I think that's to the locker room. You can make that argument. Well, but I think anyone would open eyes can see it. Why? But the price matters. What does your ignoring the price? But also there is a cumulative effect. So I agree with you. Cam was the playing as well. He might have gotten benched here soon. But how he always talks about offensive lineman. I mean, Ellie, we are now an injurer to away from dire straits on the offensive line. Like as bad as we think can't play. He was the he they put him out there every week. Yeah, they thought he was still one of their five best. So he's gone now. Now we go to Willie Lampkin. And I hope these guys also held the good. If Willie Lampkin gets her, who's playing that? Okay. So here's what I'd say. I think there's a lot of things to be critical with the Eagles about, right? I think they hired a coaching staff that maybe hasn't done a
great job yet. That was an experience. I think they underperformed at receiver. McIleman doesn't look like he's going to contribute. You can go down the list saying that they don't have a third string offensive lineman to play is not I think a fair critic. No, no, they don't have a second now. Right? Because they just traded away their starter. So now the backup play. So now the third stringer becomes the back. They don't have this much. Right. No, but what I'm saying is that A for a second round pick you accept that. But two, not a lot of teams even have five good offensive linemen, right? And the Eagles have not been one of those teams for a while. They are not one of those teams, right? So I just think that the criticism of saying like if Willie Lampkin gets hurt, what are you going to do? Not many teams in the NFL can survive a player retire. I get it. Guys getting hurt. I don't I'm not clear of record. I'm not criticizing them. I think they're doing the right thing. I think how he's seeing this with clear eyes. This seems like a one the street. But I think you're interpreting or you're interpreting well, okay. Well, then then we'll see in the next few weeks where they go. I mean, my guess is this is the first of a there's more of these to come. I don't think they're going to stop it. I think we'll find out in the next few weeks. And I actually think you're right about how you view the team. And I think that's probably how we views it.
I just think because of the price, that is more about why they did this as opposed to not believing in team. Well, I'll agree with you here. If they had only gotten a fourth, there were a bit or a fifth right there's no other way to view it besides we're selling. I was out to dinner last night right and I get the text saying cam's been traded. And I was you know, was that dinner read it quickly and I thought it was only a fifth round pick and I traded. I hate it. You don't do this. It's signaling the wrong things. Then I realized it was a second. Oh, so when you put that out, you thought it was just the five. I thought it was just the five right? Yeah. Well, that would emit a small price. Yeah. That's that's that's the point I'm making like I agree with everything you're saying if it's a fifth round pick, I just think the second round pick is such a premium that you have to take. I know you're here. So you weren't at Sierra on his press conference yesterday, but it sounded to me like he's trying to kind of rally the troops. He brought up two years ago. They were two and two at this stage. Yeah. He shaved his head. Yeah. Why don't they do it again? Yeah, this this feels like a challenge, a big challenge for him, Elliot because I don't know how they're feeling there, but they just lost two of their starting linemen in the matter of two days. Now one was obviously not the eagle decision. It's lane decision, but that's a lot for the locker room to handle and for those
players, they're still believed. Yeah. My guess is and I'm not there this week, but I have been there, you know, like I would guess morale is low. I would guess morale in the locker room is low. I mean, half the team is hurt. They just traded away cam, which I think was a good move, but I think like absolutely an impact thing. And I think what's really hit me and you can probably speak to this having been in the locker room before. Like the Eagles locker room is set up where they put the five offensive linemen left to right starters and they keep that to the point where when when Tyler steam lost a job to Mikai lemon, they took Tyler's locker and put Mikai there. Like they put those five starters there and think about how much has changed since last week. Mikai back to you. But think about how much has changed lanes gone cams gone. Like if you're my Lada, we'll see what happens with Landon back. Yeah, Landon says he's coming back. We'll see if he if he's put out there, but like I just think so much is changing with this team. I don't know how morale can't be low again with Devante, Safe one, all these guys hurt. Like it's got to be tough, but it's on
Nick and Jail and the change. Yeah, Mikai Lada. Yeah, you got to you got to as a player. I would say this when you have that much turnover in a short period of time, you look at it like, hey man, well, you better do your job. You better go out there and do your job. I mean, that's the biggest thing because I think the biggest message that all this has sent is that, hey, if it's him, it could be me. Well, I was going to ask you that. Like when you say we got out there and do our job, that to me sounds almost like I got to do my job or I could be gone. Yeah, that's the best to I got to do this job because as a team, we have something. Well, you got two guys that are looking at it as a huge opportunity. Willie Lampkin and and and and Kendi Bell. Kendi Bell. No, no, he's combining Mark L Bell and Drew Kandall. I like it. Kendi Bell. What ever the name, you got Lampkin, right? This day of Willie Lampkin. Lampkin has has Mikai earned Mikai well, not really, but you know, because we got we got the beta man. I'm supposed to believe this is not a rebuild and you can't even pronounce half the office. No, man, listen, because I mean,
because it's names I have stuck on my head that just kind of like just regurgitate at a drop of a hat. But the bottom line is those two guys are looking at them solidifying themselves as NFL players, right? And everybody else is looking at, hey, man, this is not the standard in which we living up to. So we got to we got to pull our way a little bit more. Yeah. So it's a lot it's it's a rally to choose moment. It's it's a called action moment, if you will. Well, and I think with Mark Cal Bell, like he's a perfect example of where they're at too. Like I thought last Sunday, he did not play well for the standard of starting an NFL game at right tackle. But I thought he, but I thought he played well for first NFL start showed some stuff, found out three hours before the game. And so it kind of depends how you're doing this. If you're the Eagles and you watch Mark Cal Bell, are you saying we might have something here, but if you're Nick, Sean Manian and Chris Cooper, you're going to be tougher to win a game on Sunday with Mark Cal Bell. Of course. Yeah. Well, I mean, the silver lining, I guess with the bell thing in particular is that they get 13 games to figure out if he's their right tackle. Yeah. You know, if Lane had played the full year, they would have just had it go off practice and what they felt. Archwooder question sponsored by the PI dental center. Your
spouse, the first thing other see when they meet you learn about the schedule your evaluation. P.I. dental center.com. Are you do you believe the Eagles are now on a rebuild? 78% what? No. 48% yes 52% no. Oh, okay. It's pretty split. Yeah. I'm a little surprised that as many people today are voting that they do think it's a rebuild. Well, because it's because roughed. Why also think people don't want to believe that, right? Like no, no one wants their team to rebuild. Right. A team that's been in Super Bowl content for five years and no one wants that to happen. Now, if it is, I don't think it's going to be a long rebuild, but I get what people aren't voting us. I'm just surprised it's close to 50. They're definitely rebuilding the offensive line. Yeah, on the fly. And it's probably going to be, you know, Elliot, we'll, you know, we'll flush this whole thing out with how Jaylen feels and how he's going to play and all that and in pressure on him. But this is probably the kind of line he's going to have to perform behind as time goes on. Right? Like most of the they're going to spend money on the defense coming up. Right between Cooper and Quinyon and we'll see how else they pay. Well, we're up all as they pay. But they're probably
going to have a cheaper offensive line. Now, it may be these are the guys, or maybe they have to get new guys in the draft, but Jaylen's probably going to have to play behind an offensive line that is way cheaper than any offensive line he's ever played behind if he's their quarterback the next three or four years. Yeah, I mean, I do a graphic every week where I label each position like, you know, elite average bad. Oh, you do the jack wars one. I did. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you can check it out. Oh, I got to check it out. Yeah, go follow. But like if you, if you look at over two years, I've been able to put two, three years, I've been able to go, you know, offensive line, elite, receiver, elite, running back elite tight end elite. This is not so much. This is not so much. It's bordering on the bad right now. I mean, it's like bad average. Yeah. So with that being said, what does that tell you? They're not as good. Well, I was, well, you know, no, because I had a thought, I had a thought like, okay, over the years, right? When you see, like say, Patrick Mahomes. Yeah. And he's played with subpar lines and he goes out and he and he gets him better linemen. But with that being said, they've made it far with subpar linemen. Yeah, yeah, they've made it far. So now we're looking at our
quarterback. This, this, this is, this has as much to do with Jalen in my opinion as it has to do with the offensive line in my opinion because we've been sitting here and talking about what Jalen is and what he needs to be. I think this is another step in that direction when you think about it. Because you know, when Lane retiring, that, that's out of your hands. Right. That is complete out of your hands. The Cam Jerk is one is, is one that you can control over because four games into the season. If he was playing at Bay, he probably playing bad in the preseason. You know what I mean? Yeah, training camp. That's why I'm here. Training camp. Yeah. Yeah. So, so that's one of those ones where Jalen has to, he has to elevate his team. He has to elevate his team in a sense. Let's go the phone lines. Dave and Bethlehem up on WIP. What's up, Dave? Hey, good afternoon, gentlemen. Good afternoon. Hey, Dave. What's up, man? All right. I got to get, hey, head, head, she, well, he even got to submit them finally yet. The convict storm London. I have not, you know what? I was going to plan on getting out today, but the time, you know what it is? The, the way that our job
is set up now, we're missing half of the stuff that's closed. So, there probably be closer to, like, Saturday when I have a little bit more time to get to the comic book store. So, I haven't had to chance to do anything because we get off at 70 years and stuff starting to close at seven. Well, at least the comic book is there. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Open that 10 o'clock. And that's the last big comic book store that I haven't London. And it's also maddened to those black museums, too. That's a really cool place. Oh, yeah. Okay. Yeah. You've been, Dave, or you just know about it, or you've been out here? I've been there, like, over 10 years ago. So, it's really cool. Cool. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, I was thinking, yeah. So, I was thinking here, like, a team is possibly rebuilding because you look at how last year, under over the summer, all the defensive coaches left. You know, Vic D'Angelo was left in the offensive coordinator of offensive line coach left. I mean, maybe just tied into how Sireani did offensive coordinator's search because they didn't do any really good veteran corners like Edgar Bennett, which Jacksonville, you know,
he was interviewed at all. And now we're going to, he was going to play him this weekend. What do you think about that? Well, I mean, they did interview veteran guys. They interviewed that Matt Nagy. They nobody wanted to come here. Yeah. That's a ball, McDaniel. And by the way, you went to like my no one to come here. How about like, I know it's not going great for Mike McDaniel and L.A. How many candidates are looking now and going, thank God. Yeah. I mean, there's the bottom of the league in offense. Yeah. Yeah. And the one half the roster's come to. Yeah. But I don't have a, I have a bone to pick with Joe picking on he all the time about his, his tenure with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Oh, it's back. He's going to be in half sacks. That's he's still he's still money. The shooting anything for. No, here's Kyle with the Hugh is it getting guy when he got cut on hard. Oh, really? We have the whole thing if you want to hear it. What we'll play after day. Good. You forget that Hugh Zach Mark Vannell on September 7, he 1995 his rookie season, his first start, third game of season, Zach Mark Vannell three times.
It began in Jacksonville. Yeah. Well, I got it. I'm running that. Yeah. The beginning, Jacksonville. Thank you very much for bringing up that pain for me. Yeah. Well, that's because because you're too much whisperer. You were hired to help counsel Mark Vannell, who's traumatized because, you know, the rookie man looks on the bad for truck Norris. As far as Barb looked on the bad for Ricky White, Joe Tyson looks on the bad for Taylor. Mark Vannell looks on the bad for Hugh Douglas. That was very well said, David. Thank you for bringing that nugget to the table. We appreciate the phone call. Yeah, we need more nuggets on this show. You feel torn at all about this? This is the Hewville. This is the Hewville. Really? Elliot actually did his hard hitting it. It's radio boys. He'll turn it all. Yeah. He'll know. Somebody asked me about Jacksonville. Early on, I was like, what are you? You know the stakes of this game, right? What's that? The winner claims Hugh Douglas. Yeah, right. That can happen. Jacksonville can have. Do you guys want to get caught? Yeah, let's hear that. Oh, really? Do you want to hear this? Yeah, do you want to hear it? Too bad. Sure, sure.
The real meets privately with his staff. Releasing Hugh Douglas is a big decision. Del Rio wants to make sure it's the right one. I mean, I see this. What is Hugh give us? The Lionel doesn't give you. Well, Lionel played better. I'm just saying, what are we paying for? I don't want to be hasty. I really don't. Tell me if I'm way off base, but does you do anything for? I'm not trying to stir it up. Believe me, all I want is the best guys. Yeah. Well, I'm trying to stir it up. Not a fact. Where you coaching that right now, Jack? I'm sure we are somewhere coaches. I want to come watch your team. He was out here. Jack and Eddie, all the things. I don't think so. I don't think he is. No, I can't be. I mean, not many if he is. Hey, listen. Well, you had Jack. You know what? Come on back. Hold on a second. He's the head coach of the Paris musketeers. So we got to go to Paris. Well, I don't know if they're going to set up the Paris. How great would it be if he was just milling around and we got him on the show? I'm not be like, yeah, they got a football team in Paris.
Yeah. Yeah. You going to see him? I mean, not, I maybe boo. I'm after what he said. I got real for boo. I got to tell you, this is a hard fall for Jack Del Rio when you look at the trajectory. So like linebacker coach to defensive coordinator to head coach, right? Yeah. And then he falls back to defensive coach. Defensive coordinator head coach of the Raider since then, commanders defensive quarter Wisconsin senior advisor. Now the Paris musketeers head coach. Yeah. I mean, you're winning. You're winning the divorce. I'm winning in life. Yeah. But he did win on that. He cut you on television. It's a great guy. They stole my cologne today when they ravaged my locker. Still got paid. Yeah. And they stole your cologne. Yeah, because I didn't clean on my locker. But you think Jack Del Rio's a problem. No, they like my whole teammates. They stole my cologne. That's a nice cologne. Do you think they'll put the new five in the speaking of cleaning out lockers once Cam and Lane are gone? Do you think they'll put like Mark Calbell? Yes. Why not? They're the starter now. Yeah. Because they're rebuilding. Yeah. All right. 215-592-94-94. That's how you hop in.

Welcome back midday show. Hugh Douglas show. Jillia were live. Passing on Gavin New Bar, the Wario location here in London. I'm sitting on a couch with Elliott Shore Parks. Hugh Douglas on a chair. Yeah, this chair feels so much better than that couch. Yeah, I'm not going to lie. That's a drunk couch. That couch hurts you. Well, we are in a bar. Yeah, I mean, yeah, I ain't drunk though. Yeah, I'm neither mine. Not yet. No, I was going to say the show ends. Well, no, because Blue Jeans are my, I'm not Blue Jeans. I'm not drinking. Is Blue Jeans coming out? I heard a rumor Blue Jeans might be on his way. He's coming out. Yeah, I mean, I, I mean, not tonight. I don't think. I think tomorrow, what's it's Thursday? I've lost track of days since we got here. I know it is crazy. We're off with the days, but it is a Thursday. It feels like we left Tuesday and all the sudden it's like Friday. Oh, yeah, yeah. We left Tuesday and all hail, bro. Well, that's true. Maybe that's why they have to keep us around. We leave into all hell breaks loose. Passing on GavinR.com for details on this great place and all the other ones, there's five locations throughout London. Before we go back to the phone lines here, guys, let's react to Chris Long and what he said. Because a lot of people took exception to this,
but I think Chris Long strikes me as someone that's just usually fair. In fact, I saw him say, I won't react to what he said, but he didn't intend for this to become a viral thing, which if you do a show or you do content, it could go viral anytime that's how things work, especially if it's on video or the internet. But I guess the point he was making was like, his social team did not clip this particular part to put out to generate a reaction. Somebody else did that. You mean like, you mean like, how would you do? Like, when he was fake ass, you know, you're not broken up. Yeah, yeah, right. Like that, that was that was generated. I mean, I got community noted on that. They put under like the Twitter thing was like, this is not a live reaction. Of course he said instant reaction. Yeah, he's an actor. Yeah, well, because I mean, in a bad one at that. Yeah, bad actor. But this was not that. Well, I'll do another. Yeah, I'm a a list actor. D is. D you're a D's. He's a D list actor. That was some D list actor. I could have pulled that one off better than that. Kind of, who do these are better actors? Man, you know, I sure are Hugh Douglas. Ah, Hugh. Oh, I mean, you guys got that line.
You play if he was all the time. Yeah, without a doubt. Yeah, he that was the fakes reaction to a treaty. Because he went straight. He went from oh my god straight into commentator. I mean, you act like a former football player every day. And I act the fool all the time. All right, speaking of former football players, a real one, Chris Lawn. Let's hear some of his take on Jalen and the reality of the team right now. It ain't the only bad offensive line in the league. And at some point, Jalen Hertz has to prove that he hasn't been propped up by an all-world offensive line and two number one wide receivers outside and a running back that was on the matten cover. I'm sorry. And, you know, I've tried to be as gentle as I can in these situations after games because I'm perfectly aware of that a quarterback has to deal with.
And when you win and you've delivered on the biggest stages, I do think that buys you time. And in Philly, the market is huge. You got your talk show people. I try not to be one of those people. But I don't think he's as good as people think he is. You're a reaction. I mean, so especially curious, you're as a former player who's trying to be fair, balanced, but not a crush, a player who's struggling. Because that's what he's trying to do there. Yeah. Since we're having to come to Jesus' moment, it's not the first time I've heard that. About Jalen, if I'm being totally honest. It's not the first time I've heard that. And that's the thing that people don't get that he just told you what it was. And people still get upset. He's told you that he's handled this to the best of his ability to this point. And I'll be to a man, there's a lot of other people
that have echoed the same sentiments. The fact that was it last week, you played a cut where the moderator got tied off the speakers. He's got tied off a shady and he flipped out. And he flipped out because he said, when are we going to call it what it is? See, that's the thing that people don't want to hear. You've been getting the water down version for the most part from everybody that has played this game when it's come to Jalen Hurts. Right? You have been getting that if I'm being honest. Because that's not the... Like, everybody has their opinion, but I've heard that opinion a lot. I've heard that opinion a lot. And some, you can honestly call haters. And some, you look at them and you look at them and you respect what they're saying because you know they're real. Chris Long is real. He's a real cat. And if anybody that has listened to him before he said what he said, you would probably agree with exactly what I'm saying. But now, since he said it and the way that he said it,
people are upset at it. The reality is this. If your quarterback is struggling and if you don't believe him, you don't... You don't... trade away a line. If he's struggling, you don't do that. Like, especially if this was Michael Pinnix and the way he's been trying to play right now. They got... Like, I think he was hurt. Clay Matthews. But the Matthews... Jay Matthews is hurt, but they got somebody else in there, right? But they're grooming him for the next guy, right? The bottom line is this. Jalen, they're looking at Jalen to do more. And I've been kind of screaming that for the last couple of seasons. That's why, you know, because you like the team, we bought the whole Red Rifle thing. And when I kept saying they brought him in here, because they feel like he's more comfortable in the office. That play ain't working. That play ain't working. It's on Jalen. It's on Jalen to elevate this team. And here's the thing, if you really believe in Jalen, like you say you believe in Jalen,
I'm talking to the fans out there and I'm giving... And there, this is me giving grace. If you believe in Jalen, like you say you believe in Jalen, then what Chris Long said should not bother you, right? Because you believe in Jalen. Like for you to sit there and get mad because he said that from his perspective, means that you feel in my opinion that you believe some of what he's saying. But if you believe in Jalen, I believe in him. I think he has to rise above this, because that's what it's pointing to. The simple fact, think about it like this, people. Like I'm a connected guy, that's guy. And I might be wrong, but I don't think that I am. I don't think that I am because there's something going on with the Z Eagle Squad. You have Lane Johnson on a Monday talking about there was a play there. We didn't run it. Last Monday gets to business. They know I'm talking about two Mondays ago. It was a play there, we didn't run it, right? So now you come back to following week, Cam Durgan's is gone.
He decides to retire. Now, I, Lane Johnson's a warrior. I would never question his, like I never question him. But I do believe that him coming back this season, he expected to end this season. Like he gave you, like he gave you his word. I'm sure he was in the scene. Now I don't know what happened. Transpired between now and that third game, something happened. But I think, I think it's fair to ask, okay, when you look at all this stuff going on, I think it's fair to ask what's potentially going on over there in that locker room. I think that's a fair question to ask. I agree. I mean, to me, Elliott, the thing that Chris Long said, people can get mad at it. But this is the reality. If the Eagles are going to keep Jalen and pay him a new contract, he's going to have to play with a lot of Willie Lampkins. And we drink and lose and mark how else. We talked about this all off season. I mean, you projected forward if they're going to pay people, maybe Jalen, right? And they're going to pay the defensive players. They're going to pay Quinyon and Cooper and maybe Hunt. That means the offense is going to have a lot of young players on.
That's just that the cyclical nature at the end of the film. So to me, the rest this year is to see Jalen uplift all these people on the offense that really are not accomplished. Other than the Vante, and I guess Goddard, if he gets back, it's a very green offense that Jalen's in charge of running now without a lot of help running. Well, it's just interesting listening to Hugh talk, right? Because he says, you know, this is this is what I hear about how people view Jalen. And like, I think we just all have to accept within the league and amongst players, Jalen is not viewed the way he is viewed by the fan base that supports, right? But here's the thing, like Jalen still got the franchise quarterback contract. He still has a Super Bowl. He's still on a Hall of Fame track. So the last thing he kind of needs is to win over this conversation. Yeah, that's it. That's it. Like, and now it's arguably the least important of the four, you know, but like, if I'm Jalen, the thing that would eat at me is what Chris Long is saying, whether he's right wrong, whatever, I know that's how people feel about it. You know what this is example of?
Remember, and I know I could appreciate this one. Kobe Bryant came in without shak. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it's the same thing. Yeah, but then he did. And then he did twice. Yeah, it's the same thing, man. But the tough part about that is, I think it's fair to say, can Jalen uplift the team? I don't think it's fair to say Jalen needs to accomplish what he has accomplished over the past years with this team. Oh, I agree. So if you want to say Jalen, like, carry this team, okay, to what? The second round of the playoffs? Like, at the end of the day, Jalen had a lot of talent around him. And you can argue whether he was the main reason, not the main reason. Like, he won a Super Bowl and went to two. So he got the most out of that talent. Unless you think this team should have won four Super Bowls. I mean, so I think, yes, how we view him changes. But I also think you have to change the expectation of what the Eagles are. And you're right. I agree with that. But here's the thing, Elliott. And I think that's what we need to see. Because you can make an argument, bar in the injuries, that this team is still good enough to be a second round, maybe third round player.
Agreed with that. Yeah. Third round. Okay, I'll say a second round. I'll say a second round. Third round, Joe. Second. Oh, hold up, though. Third round is the end of the championship. Okay, Joe, I'll say a second round. I thought I'd decided to push back a little bit. They're rebuilding. What if they got a top five defense and their first offense at home? What if Johnathan Brinar was healthy? All right. Yeah, but then they have to win a second play out game on the road. Joe, I'll say a second and third round. I just, that caught me a little bit. We're discussing a rebuild and Douglas has in the title game now. But what I'm saying is, and this is what we talk a little bit much. We'll talk about this. There's seven of him pulling under dogs and a neutral field on Sunday. But this is what we talked about. We talked about in order for how we'd feel comfortable. Because there's going to have to be some uncomfortable decisions that are going to be made off these. Elliot, this now is certainly my need. The closest to 21 where Jaylen had to show them. He was worth being the guy for the future. Yeah. That team went nine and eight. They made the playoffs. They lost in the first round. But like he showed enough that you're that they kept in the other part of this. This year for Jaylen from here on out is about showing.
The Eagles are another team that they should give him a big contract. Yes. That's what it's about for Jaylen, right? So yeah, I agree. Now, but I also think you have to be realistic about what he can accomplish with. I agree. Yeah. Well, that's what I mean. That's why I pushed back on the title game. I'm sure. But I think it's an interesting question. Like if I'm saying, okay, 14 or no, 13 games ago, what would be a year where we go? Jaylen, Jaylen, for lack of a better term, like prove Chris Long and people like that wrong, right? Winning a playoff game, winning the division. Like we have to accept that Jaylen is not going to win a Super Bowl with a roster that is in this current state. And so it's always going to feel like he's not accomplishing as much because he doesn't have as much talent. I'll tell you what, I think winning a playoff game would be pretty good right now. Or for me, being closer to that guy who we felt was caring the team in the first two wins against Carolina. Yeah, right. Against Tennessee and Washington. Well, that's a crazy thing. Half the year he has been the guy. Yeah, but it's all of a sudden. But it's a, you know, what have you done for me?
Late. Well, it's also those teams are not good because you know, like that's the truth. The maintenance is terrible. Washington's probably not good. And it feels, it feels to mulch it was right now. It really, really does. And again, I got to keep saying is I don't have anything to base this off of. I'm just reading it to these. I'm on the outside looking in and just the timing of all it is just seems a little off to me. It really, really does. Well, it's rare. I mean, Eagles don't usually, this doesn't usually happen to them. This rolling a season. Well, and the other part of this just quickly is, as there is turnover, right? Like AJ's not here, but McCoy's here. Lane's not here. Mark Helbell's here. Cam's gone. Willie Lampkins here. Like it's also about Jaylin winning over those people too. Of course. You know, like this is, Jaylin can really become the man in that locker room with this new team if he's able to play and lead to the level that, that warrants that. Yeah, I think the answer about Jaylin is, is, is going to shift like, because he's got a different kind of team here. But they're going to have an answer by the end of the season, whether that they think he's worth the money. Will in the Northeast is up on WIP. Hey, Will. Hey, great team.
Well, what's up, buddy? We're just in London hanging out on a couch with Elliot. Hey, man, I've heard you, but listen, just check this out, right? I do believe in Jaylin. But you know what? And I'm going to keep a rural list. This guy got to, you know, he even now Michael Jordan and all that. It's time to come and become Michael, baby. Well, that's, it's only one Michael Jordan. Yes, that's some problem. Yes, but you know, the difference is Michael has like came with the wizard roster right now and not the bulls. Yeah, we're going to. Yeah, this is early bulls or late or late wishes. Yeah, this isn't a 93 bulls. Go ahead, Will. We're going to small bulls. Yes, so you brought up Jordan. We had a, we had a reaction. Yeah, push back a little bit. Yeah, I mean, he's not, he's not close to Jordan, but that's okay. Well, he's not, he's not close to Jordan. I'm just saying, he made his play with better, man. You know, I'm saying he made him come out for play and he, he bought a winning spirit. Now, what Jaylin going to have to do with it is to understand what now.
You got to see these young fendertats, man. You got to get them in order. You got to get the time in down with them. You got to, you know, you got to show them. Listen, this is what we got to do. You got good receivers. These young bulls is good. You just got to make them better. And it starts with you, Jaylin. I know you go listen. You already know, you know, you're blocking it's going to be down a little bit. So, you know, you're going to have to keep that ball out faster. You know, everything is going to be at a fast pace now. You're going to have to start running some of that helping you up offense. Man, I've been saying that just a season before the season we started. You got to incorporate a lot of these things with your game, more, Jaylin. You know what I'm saying? Like I said, man, I believe in my quarterback. And I know he's going to throw a little tough time now. But I know he's going to pull it together. And so, this is the team. So good about pulling Jaylin. We going so quick. But if the team get a good ball, Jaylin, you might as well start. You know, he's building right now. That's all I've got. You got it, Will. We appreciate it. I don't think the team is giving up on Jaylin. The players. I mean, but as far as winning goes,
this is going to be tough slot in the next few weeks. I mean, Ellie, they are now off to 7.5. 100 dogs. And I went back and looked the last time they were this big of an underdog in any game, which Jaylin's first start of his career against the Saints. And what happened in that game? They won that game. They won that game. They was at home. It is crazy to think that if Jonathan Jones catches an interception, they're three in one. And we feel in they're coming off one of the best wins of the Nick and Jaylin, like regular season era, right? Like results matter. It is what it is. This is why I gave the coaching staff an A last week. Like the fact that they came so close. Are people over that grade yet or not? I see what you're giving this week, kid. But I mean, the fact they say they came so close to winning that game. I really think is getting overshadowed this. Well, it is because we lost. And I know it. I get that. Bottom line. Bottom line. Bottom line. No, I get that. But it was ugly loss. And then it was, you know, Lane retired and camp getting traded. And now everybody's like, what the hell's going on? Agreed. Now we're like, you know, because I saw people online talking about rebuild. And oh my gosh, my phone was blowing up. And I'm like, wow, we really missed the day.
We missed the golden opportunity to be. But we're here. You know, it is crazy being in London for all this. Yeah. Because the fans here are so excited and happy. Exactly. They're going to get back. Yeah. Then I look at videos back home. And you know, it's like you're talking down. That's all I'm supposed to do. Yeah. Yeah. I'm actually happy we're here. It's a little easier to kind of just get through all this. Here Jordan in Princeton is off on WIP Jordan. Oh, Cheerio. Oh, chops. That was London. Jordan. It's great. I was trying to remember if Cheerio was a London player. Yeah. I think. Yeah. Yeah. Jordan said it's awful. That is it. And before I launch into all of my Philadelphia sports, two general topics. One, how cool is it that there are five Philadelphia themes bars in London? That's how strong the culture of the city of Philadelphia exports. You don't go find a New York theme bar in London. You'll find an LA themed bar. I just love that our city has this pervasive culture. And I can't wait to visit in December. On the Vasi, which is the Cheesesteak place in Tokyo. Cannot wait. That's all the Jordan and I take a picture there.
So your point on the passing avenue. So it's my first time here. And to everyone back home that's wondering like, and I know people go watch on YouTube and see us doing this little spot. But that's a huge place. But it's not just like, oh yeah, it's a Philadelphia sports bar. And they have Cheesesteaks on the menu. And you're like, there's like a stained glass murals of Bernie Perant and Brad Lidge and Carlos Ruiz and concrete Charlie. Right? So it's like, it's the full experience here. In here, I feel like we're home. It's just where we're underground in London. You can tell the people that run this are actual Philly sportsman. It's not like a pop-up shop. Someone that thought it would make money. They love Philly sports here. Yeah, you could feel it's cool. Wonderful. Number two, two food recommendations. Elliott, I think you know I'm a big food guy. The George South War. One of the oldest operating restaurants on the planet. Shakespeare used to stage plays in the courtyard out front to cross the Thames from the Tower of London. The George South War and hit Faroe Market after the show. Get yourself some late night eats in the market.
You guys enjoy that. I have Faroe Market up earlier. I have been to the Barrow Market already, too. It's, so I went to the... Did you get the strawberries? I did not, but I saw someone... They were good. Yeah, I saw someone get... I've been to the Fish Market at Seattle and I kind of thought it'd be like that. It's way bigger and it's way more there. It was really cool. Go ahead, Jordan. Excellent. So, two Philadelphia points today. One, the initial trade with Tam. I really thought that they were giving up on the season, but once that news settled in, I realized you can both hedge your current season and look to the future in season, which is very valuable for a team that has to go through a generational shift. They should have been looking at this a little earlier. A core of players is aging. We're holding on to them. Making that generational shift is tough for any organization, let alone a sports team. So, I think a chance to test some of the new guys out in season is going to give us a great opportunity to continue to build for the future. And it's not like Dave Dombrovsky is making these moves. If Howard's making these moves, I have faith.
If Dombrovsky's doing it, I still want him out of the building. No, I just think people are... People are way over thinking this. The Ravens called up and offered an absurd price for CamJerk. They're not over thinking. They traded a starting line in October. Because someone called and offered an absurd price. Yeah, but you don't use it. So, wait, is someone causing offers to two for Jordan Milata? He's gone tomorrow too? But Jordan Milata's worth more than two. Okay, one. Oh, one. Yeah, I think if someone offered a first round pick for Milata, they would consider it. Okay, but would they have considered it in 2024 when they were blazing their way to a certain bowl? No, I don't think they would have. I think that this team... I think how he sees what he's got. And he's just acting accordingly. But both of your points, the offer was overwhelming. And he had to take it. Go ahead, Jordan. He can't deny that. Number two, I have to address Steven A. Smith. You said that he apologized. Steven A. Smith, you have a platform that you need to use responsibly. You cannot twist the words that you say. When you spoke negatively about Lane Johnson
and his mental health, you left because the jokes weren't funny. No one else on your set was laughing. Don't come and make an apology twisting your words. This is what I meant. That's what I meant. Man off, be a good broadcaster, like you're supposed to be. And apologize when you get something wrong. Go, Burs. You got it, Jordan. We appreciate it. Yeah, I haven't heard the full apology. We did mention here that he did apologize this morning. I look, he was insensitive. And to me, he came across his ignorant to Lane's plate and his whole career and all the stuff he's dealt with. He made it sound like this was the first time Lane had ever used a term mental health or... He didn't have any background. No, it was a bad job, I think we all know that. Are coming up. The Eagles have five first and second round picks in the next couple years. What's how we plan? Like, what is this about? Is this a rebuild? Is it a retool? Is he looking at a quarterback? Where are we going? What's the most likely path here? We'll discuss it with LA Elitra Parks with us for the final couple hours this show today. We joined us an hour ago. LET just tried the Cheesesteak here, a Passiong Avenue. How was it? So it was unbelievable. Especially for a Cheesesteak out of the city. Right. I feel like Norway is kind of touch and go. Also some Cheesesteaks out of the city will have like peppers or you know you see like the green peppers on them. I don't mess with that. The best version of a Cheesesteak is with mayo ketchup and fried onions. Didn't have the mayo or the ketchup but that's a preference thing. I could have added. I wanted to try it the way they served the food. Can imagine mayo like very popular. You know what's popular here that I had yesterday? That was pretty good. Yeah well mayo banging on cheese. It was called I had horse radish ketchup. That does sound good. It was really good. Does it kind of look like a like a Chipotle mayo type of color? Yeah it was pretty good. That's just like cocktail sauce that you would put on a trip. Basically that's what it was. Yeah basically. But it was pretty good. Would you have it like with the fries? I had it with a burger. Yeah. I came all the way to London and got burger.
They call it chips here I think too. Also on the right here with our Uber driver you noticed the Popeyes and thought about getting the Popeyes. Hey black man it go to Popeyes. I mean in London. I'm not sure it's good here too. Pass food overseas is better than it is in the States. Our driver I will say was very informative. Well you asked him some very interesting questions. Yes. He answered all of them. And you know what he asked so much that you can tell on air but I'm very happy. Well here we are. Okay. Not with very much like. Well we were riding and you know he was talking about he called the governor or the mayor what he caught up on Muppet. So you know he was really friendly so I asked him. He doesn't know how we got elected he said he's a dope. I will say Muppet is a good answer. I might have to start you. So he was talking about we listen to Bengali music which was pretty cool. Agreed with that. You had him turn it up. I know. He was like who's this? Turn it up. I want to listen to this. So did I ask because I didn't know where it was going to go. Yeah. Because he started telling me personal business about how you know he beat he had a case against him and he beat the case. So I was like I guess you feel better about that as it's passing.
So I asked he had to beat the case. So I asked I said dog since you we breaking bread and you telling me all the business. I said if I wanted to get some strange and London where would I go to get like not bread it. Everybody at home don't don't clutch your pearls and I know you. It was I was just asking a question. Just inform it. Just just trying to inform it. Blue jeans is terrified right. Is it the value out of here? Yeah. No. I'm just I just ask. I was like hey if I want to get some strange. Rod that home like please tell me you didn't find any strange. Yeah. So I asked you. But he does know where to find it now. See that was it. Because most people when you asked him that question I was asking for the shocking all of you. Right. For everybody that was wondered I was asking for shocking all. But he went into detail. Yeah he had all the information. And then he said you got the vibe he knew. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Now he did mention a wife and a kid but he's saying he has a past. He was a young man at one point. He probably knew. But this was the best. So we can't get out over. He said hey if you need a phone number I got you. I was like no I'm good.
Yeah. I was like it was like it was just an icebreaker question. No I mean I didn't mean you got five stars. Is that a typical icebreaker for you? Well I just thought I didn't want to see what he was going to say. I just wanted to see what he's going to say. Wait here's a question. I wouldn't think so. Even if you let's say do get a phone number two while you're here. They're hard to figure out. It's like plus four four something or other. Anybody call anybody calling. I've been here multiple times. No big deal. No, really. I don't even know how to call anybody. I don't even like I would be curious to see you try to call. Outside of the wildfire situation. I can't use my phone. I got lost. I got lost earlier than that. They use WhatsApp here I think. Yeah it's somebody kept telling me like and print like shout out to all the people that DM me and say hey you need to do this and that. It ain't that serious because I'm about to go get drunk anyway and go back to the road. So why would you need to go home? I don't need to go anywhere. I need to go back to the hotel. I just need to go back to the hotel and I figured out from there. I mean like I got lost where I was at because I got a little over seven. I've been falling. The story is yeah.
But I'm cool. I'm not I'm not by the way. And if you're in trouble you have an Uber driver that you know in town. Take it where you need to go. He told me what a strange was I was like he knew he knew he had multiple places. It wasn't just like one. He knew a lot of different. He knew the place. He knew where to go for the strange. All right back to the phone lines here in a second as we go through our trials and tribulations and London. But let's talk about how he's planned here. So whether or not we think this is a rebuild a retool or how he's just looking to the future here. Ellie he has five first and second on picks the next few years. Right. I mean that's that's the reality of the AJ trade this past summer and now the CamJurge trade they're they're pretty loaded up. Like when when you hear that when you kind of look at the ledger of picks they have. What do you think he's doing? I mean he's prepared to add more talent to this. Just just like a blanket talent. Yeah I mean now that talent could be a quarterback that talent could be a receiver. That talent could be an offensive line. But they are set up to improve a talent efficient offense. They are not an offense right now especially at the end of this year when
Seikwon is probably gone. Goddard when we say every year is gone but probably gone at this point. We'll see what happens with Eli Starras and Mikhailemman. But how he is set up to do two things. Add talent and hopefully from their case add it at a cost efficient price. Right. But they've not really had cost efficient talent over the past years on offense. Like AJ Devante the offensive line, Seikwon, Goddard like all these guys have been top money. The other thing I'll say is how he uh you know like I think they're planning on paying Quinyana Cooper obviously right. Yeah because they make a move. But like Pankwinyana Cooper does not absolve them from adding talent in other positions. You know like they can only say we're paying to defense so many times. Right. Before it's like but you still have to add talent to the offense especially if you've missed on Mikhaili Starras. Well speaking of Starras they did not open his practice window. I saw this morning. So he's not yes obviously even close to ready to play. He's not playing this game. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know if he's not close to ready to make perspective. Right but they're going to need at least a week of practice for replacing the game. Right. So the earliest he could return is probably the panzer game.
Who knows. My perspective on this is pretty simple. It reminds me of 2021 and 22. Ellie you remember like at one point the Eagles had three first round picks right. And the thought in town was they're not sure about Jalen. Now Jalen played well enough to make them sure enough to say we'll build around you. I think it's the same thing all over again. Well to be fair you're talking about 21 to 22. 21 to 22. I mean Jalen played well enough where they couldn't execute any trades. Well tried to trade. Right. Okay but yeah. Yeah. So they treat as the Eagles chance. Happen. They get loud up in his face. But they got all those picks to me to make sure they were good at quarterback. It turned out to be they just rolled with Jalen and put a lot around him. Right including AJ Brown was one of those picks they used. So I think the same things happen. And again if Jalen plays great in this side we're going to keep Jalen. Then they're going to put cheap talent around Jalen. But he was pretty clear to me. They're prepping to maybe need to get a quarterback. And that could be to move up in this draft which is loaded with quarterbacks. And if the Eagles finished in the middle of the first round or 17 pick
they have enough ammunition to move into the top 10 now. Or if a veteran quarterback like a Joe Burrow becomes available they have five first and second round picks. I see the team leaves that you're reading. Yeah. But I'm not there yet. Aw because your head is in the sand. I'm not there yet. Don't stop it. You're like what you're saying. How is the how is the sand. But you're basically saying is that going into town. That's right. That's right. It's the same. Yeah. No, but I hear what you're saying Joe but that's basically the meat throwing in the town and I don't think they're there yet. I think they know but they're preparing. Oh they're heading to bets. Yeah. No, I told you I said I had to in the bets. But I feel like Jalen can change his narrative. Yeah sure. And it starts with this week. I'm not I'm not expecting Jalen going out there. I don't expect Jalen to go out there and change everything and write the ship and everything just goes where it's probably not going to happen like that. But for Dan show better look better in the deal last week. It has to. But I would also say and I know this is hard to do but like if everybody not just YouTube never really listening all fans can like remove from the corner
therein whether you're pro Jalen anti Jalen whether you like Nick don't like Nick like everyone remove move from the corner. If you're Jeffery Leran you look at this objectively. Is there something to be said for just removing all the baggage and starting over? Like if you look at the best years this team has had it was 17 they won their first Super Bowl off of 16 with a rookie quarterback. 22 they almost win it right 24 that they do it. But like I think Nick is an elite head coach. I think Jalen is an elite quarterback. There's something to be said about the if this season goes where let's say they win seven or eight games the ugliness that will be carried in a next year. The questions that will be asked the price tag that will carry. So if I'm Jeffery Leran I think you can believe in Nick and Jalen enough and you can also say you know what like it's nice to have a cost effective quarter back it's nice to have a coaching staff that maybe like is not carrying the baggage of everybody in the city being mad at them. So no matter what you think of Jalen or Nick there's a world where Jeffery decides if they only win seven games this is my off-rand like this is my
chance to kind of start over because that has worked for me in the past. Yeah because I feel like this Joe this season hasn't been written yet. We're two and two there's a lot of football left to be played this could go either way but I feel like they're looking at their quarterback to do what we feel the quarterback can do and that's take this team to the promised land. Now with the promised land I know you're probably thinking like oh that's not the super bowl might be a different promised land but it might be a different promised land but I think that he has to show them that he's worth what he's probably going to get at the end of the season. And that's why I'm and I kind of think that might be as simple and I don't agree with this from their outlook but like it might be as simple as showing he can run the offense like even if the results aren't great if they think week 15 he is reading this properly like he is throwing the ball where it's supposed to go he is getting rid of the ball quickly but they're still losing they could definitely decide guess what Jalen represents a franchise great we know him the devil you know is better than the devil you don't and like if we think if we add another AJ type player to Devante then boom we're back yeah and here's another thing Joe
it's I know Eagles fans aren't going on here it is but I think it's the truth it's his success is not going to be tied to wins the losses be it because it has been in the past well I always know it is I don't think prior to this collapsing well I think I think in the sense when I when I say it's not tied to win the losses I'm talking about in the sense of him growing in this offense yeah I agree with it yeah that that part because there are intangible that could potentially happen that could be out of his out of his control yeah if he if safe fences in this game he drives down the field with three minutes left on the clock and he puts the Eagles up right and in the defense for forks and it lose the game that's not technically on Jay well you know me I've been saying that for a while that's not technically on Jay but if he shows that he's had growth in this offense and it feels like he's getting the time down and it and it looks better because last week he looked lost I mean he looks low he looked lost last week so if he comes back this week and it looks better and outcome is it
once you want it to be then I feel like you're moving in the right well and I think the main difference to what he was saying is they're not supposed to win anymore like they are underdogs on say huge huge underdog for the past four years every time they took that field for the most part they have been supposed they are there are supposed to win that game and so now I think when you you Jayland in the past it was you know we could debate how much you had to do with the win whatever bottom line is he was winning they were getting the result they were so I think now the difference is the Eagles have to look at this objectively and go Jayland not winning a game where we're seven and a half point underdogs like that has to matter so I just pulled up the soup bowl odds just to kind of paint a picture to your point of they're not supposed to win anymore the Eagles have dropped I think they were like 15 to one to start the season 16 to one that range they have dropped to 45 to one to win the soup bowl where the Cowboys that caracid the Cowboys are 20 to one so the Cowboys must be favored to win the division yeah the Cowboys are more than doubles shorter the odds of the Eagles just to give some perspective I mean obviously you know the Rams and Bills and Ravens are going to be the top some teams that are ahead of the Eagles
in soup balls the Texans who are O and four the Bengals the Lions who can't stop anyone the Vikings who can't score any points so I mean like your point I mean the Eagles are barely above the Falcons and Panthers so I love making bets that lose like Parlay you would bet on Eagles I mean this feels like an overreaction to me like I'm not saying the Eagles are going to win the soup bowl the reaction is almost as if they lost their quarterback for the season that's like the odds dropping like I look they could very well still win this division and we you know to next point I know he's trying to rally the troops but is right does right now feel much uglier than it did when they were two and two after 2024 not the on field but the talent level feels way less doesn't it the talent level I would agree yeah AJ's not here to take one with two years just doesn't feel I mean no I'm asking like two years ago when they were two and two remember before the Brown before you shape this head they won the game like the same record earlier they're not so you said what so what do you ask in our Elliott did it feel uglier or more hopeless than than it does it feels uglier now yeah I think I think it does I would have just because it felt pretty functional but it felt pretty
ugly then too it is but they didn't have the they have the horses that but we didn't think they had this this feels different but they did this this feels different because to me it feels like there's some distinction in the ranks like and that's just and again I have to I have to say keep saying this I haven't talked to anybody over there but it just feels like read the T-leaves that this is way more dysfunctional than it was that time because it just feels like you know there's a lot of in you window and reckless speculation that has been levied at this team from the beginning and I'm going even back to what self said what to do with the ball spot in the top is here said with with with with the lane situation with the cam situation it just feels it and I'm even thought a man in the Diggas situation the the fact that there was a lot of I guess miscommunication with the injury or whatever or it felt like that this just feels like there's a disconnect with
this team somehow well this is what it's a lot deeper this is what I'm talking about when I say maybe it's depending on this plays out Jeffrey will decide let's leave all the baggage in the past and start over again but there's there's examples we say baggage because I feel like you you mean like what I don't want to put words in my book if you're part of being smart is knowing what to do okay you pick up on that too coach in the quarterbacks what I'm saying the coach in the quarterback I just want to make sure I think Nick I think Nick's in a lead coach all those things but like if I'm Jeffrey there is something to be said for not carrying the baggage of everything so basically the kids are fighting getting by about to get agile well yeah well look at before we go back to phone lines look at the trends in the league a lot of teams with brand new coaches get better real fast I mean the Chicago Bears and Ben Johnson perhaps it's happening with the Raiders now with Kupiak and also you said it alien it's true how these best successes come when the quarterback is cheaper well and also the two best ways to win a title in the NFL have really nothing to do with talent it
is have a cheap quarterback and have an easy schedule and like you only get an easy schedule by being bad so if the Eagles actually only win six or seven games this year they might get a cheap big deal last place get their shot next year it might be the best chance they have for the next however many years I know yeah it changes quickly in the NFL let's go to Jerry who's up on WIP Jerry thank you how you Elliot thank you for taking my part joy and joy to these guys every day Jerry what's up there I don't think he would have given up can you hear me we got you yeah Jerry okay I want to say how do you guys I love you show and I don't think I can give it up hey I don't think the Eagles are giving up I think uh what's up there Cam Jordan getting big smash on that play and out for how long the last show I don't think they gave it up so that's what it was and you long and they can take care of it well I'm sure that everyone is good I'm just saying I'm just saying you stop I've never heard
anybody say it that way I'd never heard anybody just come out here and say it I didn't hear I didn't hear anybody either but his man was engaged he's going out and then he just talked to an ass and just stop and that guy was on the brand big that's fine I just never heard of it said like that though yeah well you know hey I'm just watching the game and I don't think I'm not adding you guys more joy I don't need to play better I just want to comment on wait wait wait wait wait wait you now you say something wait wait wait wait now hold on hold on hold on you said what don't have to need to have you got it you said what don't need to happen who don't need to play better I don't know about what need oh everybody need to play better but I don't say I don't you say he didn't need to play better I'm sorry I'd like to let you have it but after after that deal from Baltimore you had to let him go but as long as like holes long I think they cherish it a little bit because I'm watching the game and I'm just
guys we look at you and the general delighting rock you know so he likely like to bring him out everybody just we've got her but Jerry can I name Jerry master question Jerry where we going so I hear you and Jalen is a lightning rod obviously if you're going to talk about his game it's going to get more attention than the other parts of your show right for Nick or Chris or Oscar or ever right sure but like don't you think they know when they watch the film spent especially Nick don't you think they know like what he's supposed to do and where when he's not doing right or wrong also if this is what they're willing to say publicly can you imagine the text between fools and Chris long about this like clearly they they're saying what they believe in the tape I mean Jerry I trust Nick I trust Nick falls that's like no more about football than right I for you know anything and I agree with that but I'm watching him dropbacks before he even gets the plan of foot he usually run it but throw it a lot of balance yeah but but maybe that's nothing line nothing line now so I don't think you're lying but no they're zero zero
Jerry have you ever considered that maybe if he steps up in the pocket he'd create time for himself to see down field he bailes on the right he bet not no but he bailes to the right it's his tendency it's been his tendency since Alabama he bailes to the right when there's pressure yeah but I also he cuts the field I also think though there is a tendency to only point out the times he hurts the offensive line and not the time he helps the offensive that's fair but like there are a lot of times it does feel like that's less than when he was young when he was young I don't know about that so I agree with you he breaks off 20 yards when he's young they're definitely plays where it looks like the line gives a pressure but really jailing held on the ball too long but then there's also plays where the line the pressure does get there I in jailing avoid it I thought when he was younger I thought he made more positives out of those doesn't it feel like those roles to the right he was younger he had a better line and I'll say this to what he also had better legs Jerry he had a impactful length so what you're talking about Jerry a lot of times Jerry a lot of times what you see what you see on television it's not necessarily
what's going on I'm not I'm not saying you're wrong but you don't know what the play call is yeah we know one tenth of what's going on yeah you don't know what's going on Jerry so for for you to sit there and say like in an instance that you know it's pressure's on him right away Jerry sometimes they run screens when they let line and go so that they can throw the screen to make the play happen to get him coming up the field I'm not saying that's the play that you're talking about but to sit here and say that it's always on offense line this year that might not be fair because you don't know what the play call is you'll know if it's a three step drop you don't know if it's a five step drop you don't know if it's a seven step drop so all I'm saying is there's a lot of information out there that a lot of people are regurgitating and they don't know what the actual call is they don't know what what they're trying to accomplish in that play so everybody that has a YouTube pay not not disparage because some cats know what they're talking about I get in props but everybody don't know what they're talking about when they talk about what they see you know what I'm saying so you got to take all that with a great I know I know what you're saying I know
what you're saying I'm just saying when he goes back and tries to plan most of the time he can't plan for his life and you know he sounds like everybody's bringing Tanner but he's bringing Tanner I haven't heard of it I have heard anybody say that I have heard of Joe Burrow's going to do some of that line I haven't heard I mean Joe Burrow's a better quarterback I mean that I don't say he's not better I'm saying you think he's going to do anything with that line well but if he gets rid of the ball wait a minute what'd you say now what do you say what who's back there burrow burrow if Joe Burrow's behind I think it would look like it doesn't since he had heard of well then there have been quarterbacks that have played with lesser offensive lines man so I I yes and Brock Purdy hasn't taken a sack this year he has one offensive lineman of note I mean that line is solid but it's not great but like the Eagles offensive line right now is pretty bad I mean they have three starters in there who basically have never played in the NFL I think they have Tyler Steen who we would all agree is like average to above average and they have my lot but like that
there's not many offensive lines would align up this week with less experience than I agree yes I would we can look at the numbers I would think Jalen sack percentages this year is probably on par with most of his career well Jalen invites a lot of pressure I know yeah I mean Jalen's top 5 in the league I'm just saying yeah the offensive line that we are used to saying like like this offense line is pretty wrong well the issue in the biggest issue right now is they can't run the ball not they can't they definitely can't so they're yeah that that that's a bigger issue than a pathway say it in order for this team to be able to run the body got to be able to throw the ball better they're not throwing the ball I don't think well but but they're better at running it then they are passing it right now well if you want to talk about the bar slow but the only point I'm making is the offensive line seems to be making strides in the running game at least they wear I mean it's a whole new line now right right yeah all right coming up we got one more segment here Elliott sure parks with us here all right we got a lot to do here we got to play kiss the baby we haven't done it this week and I got my no we'll figure it you left you no book in America yeah all right we'll figure out I'm coming I'll come on here doing a real work what did you think this was oh vacation I think he's a little bit driver what this was about yeah yeah I think the
Uber driver knows exactly what this trip was about all right coming up we'll play kiss the baby he will figure out what the heck he who which teams he's already illuminated from the postseason also we'll talk about the Eagles plans to come out tomorrow and how the jet lag is affected the three of us I think I'm feeling a little different than these guys we'll talk about that coming up and thank you to our official travel partner of 90 for the BIP fans have fully forgetting us here book your next fully football away trip with fans with the P of Philly Ducca oh I'm glad we got to do this today before we the seat the NFL week five starts tonight with the bucks and the cowboys you guys stay enough to four o'clock in the morning you can count me yeah me too it's all have to count me out it's a 4.30 yeah right like so it'll start kickoff will be at eight at home and one here anyway it is time to kiss the baby the game we play every week and Elliott is joined this year where we eliminate another team from playoff contention with the goal of having a perfect playoff field when the season ends it's not easy and you have to eliminate teams before they're actually eliminated so we can't just hold all the bad teams to week 16 17 Elliott you get to be
up first this week who are you eliminating entering week five so I will say I now having done this through four games going first is a major advantage huge you don't have to pivot on the floor yeah I usually write down for it good I have to write down for and then like the fourth pick I'm like all right so this is probably my riskiest pick kind of I feel confident they won't make the playoffs I'm going with the Steelers I think it's a good one so they're two and two they're only game out of the division but when you look at Aaron Rogers and Mike McCarthy yelling at each other I just feel pretty confident they're not now I think they'll be in until the end but I don't think they'll make it the only concern I would have if I was you and I think it's a good pick is burrow in the market hurt all the time the Mars hurt right now Aaron Rogers does too no I guess that's true yeah not all the time yeah but like yeah the two teams better than they could be banged up but I think it's a good call all right the Ravens got Cam Jartons that is true for a second round pick which feels good yes I wouldn't be surprised to be played really well there oh great well the the funny part of the other side of the trade quickly is the Ravens are generally considered a smart team I mean now they may have made a bad trade here and the Eagles may have fleeced them
I think there's a but it wasn't the Browns they made the trade but he went down the street too yeah there's a real world in week 14 the Eagles have won like six games cams playing well I agree and there is that victory lap but I think ultimately in two years the Eagles will get the last the Eagles are going to win this trade over time yeah I agree with that guess one other player that we traded probably coming back soon AJ Brown AJ yeah we're gonna watch both those you know I kind of forgot about AJ Brown anyway you're up Kyle yes so I'm gonna go with the Jets feels like one of the last few true layups we have the last the last who rock yeah you know it's a good one it's a good one I was looking at tonight but I don't think I'm gonna wait and see what happens tonight you haven't a win at the box you have not eliminated the box oh they're they're they're they're they're down well mostly and there's certain what's his name Jalen Daniels right there's a J there with an oh yeah Jalen Daniels all right look on the scale of dawn Jets have been done since they started this season and the Chets have been done since we both three and they're being honest I know some day you win didn't you tell us you know I spent saying that just the
promise land yeah that might be they had 32 plays last week yeah place it might be taking promise land and win a couple games but that's promise land they got an interception they did your guy Aaron Glenn needs to win this weekend yeah you know I said that I'm I'm here because I was going to go support him I tried Jets alumni yeah they're gonna miss you all right he will not the Jags alumni of us oh no I expect that for them not you not you we we vibrate now I expect that for those two y'all I don't expect would you have two was it two and a half sacks or three and a half there was three would you go be trying to short me my sack let me look up the three all right who are you eliminating well you know what I'm gonna go chalk because being 0 and 5 in the NFL this hard to climb my dad holds and I think I'm pretty you know I don't think you're gonna make the playoffs you do that so I'm going to 10 million years so you're calling them they're losing it yeah they're losing I call it I was gonna say they're not on one five yet they were yeah I call calling a shot but guys they're not we got I know still gonna bet on plus eight and a half
but like they are playing the Cowboys guys it would be huge thing in Tampa right yeah no it's in Dallas that was it they got no shot you know it's crazy about the way we're talking about this game the box are only eight and a half point underdogs with a third with a undrafted rookie free agent quarterback it's almost the same as the Eagles line well I don't think anybody expects Eagles to win this game I don't think I've talked to no person yeah no I I mean I agree but it's like just that's where we throw that ball hopefully I mean a lot just the crazy thing the lines were almost the same all right so I'm up last this week and I'm gonna go with the Arizona Cardinals I they've played kind of scrappy did they haven't looked like the worst team in the league I already picked them but they're not in that division they're the worst team by a mile so Cardinals are out already of the postseason all right um let's before we go back to the phones jet lag LL and I saw you put up a video today so we're we all have LHOR parks on Instagram that's right we were on the same flight yep so we all are out in the same kind of jet lag potential issues we're like timing issues with sleep and trying to sleep on the plane then so how are you how are you
feeling today because the Eagles are doing it where they're coming tomorrow and then they're going to probably play the game on Sunday so a couple days post flight what's the what was the jet lag situation for you well I think it's first worth mentioning we left at 10 o'clock at night the Eagles are leaving at a similar time on Friday okay so we are a very similar situation now they're gonna have better accommodations they will yeah we were just sleeping in regular seats cowboy Jim did hook up the water though that was a you know what he did hook up the water yeah which was has been helpful I was I'm not hydrated yeah he helped it up it was good to see him in his own working it was interesting to see him in his spots yeah yep yep I was he did a great job you were knocked out yeah you were he sent me a picture you sleepin by the way you did oh I was sleeping like a baby yeah have we have we have we have we talked about what happened on the plane oh yeah I tell it a do yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you know I mean come on I do I knew I know I was like I like do we hit something I will say to Hughes credit I looked over and you did put his arm up being like we need something so he was a he was a hero no but were you
gonna help or you just try to get help zero shot no no but it was sprawled out like he was there for a while always they are kept thinking I'm like damn when I passed out did they let me lay out that that long yeah he was down for a while so you did bring this up in the first segment and then I had a transition back to so can Durgan was traded yeah like ever that emergency we had on the plane I was like yeah and they're rebuilding it please I'm not making light of anybody you okay buddy was fine we think but I mean they took they took their time to help him though like people because it was everybody was there was a split second when I thought the plane might turn out that dude I was thinking yeah did we hit a bird I never expected we hit a bird yeah Joe I woke up about my sleep we in the air I don't know what kind of bird I don't know because I'm like what cuz listen it's really bad for planes yeah that's what I'm saying but initially Elliott which is a pie sure that I don't when I initially wake up that's a good point okay well came out if y'all let me finish telling the story hey yeah cuz I was like wait me the bird like what is
it was going on but did you we all sleep when you notice how it got it was really dark and then it got light and then it went darker yeah yeah what was that well it's for the guy they were should the emergency they put the low I'm talking about outside of playing like the sun we went through we it was dark when we took off I think I think you know I think the gummies were here you had to dream on that plane since we since we're here I was high but it was listen it went light it was light it was so it did you talk about outside outside the plane do you think someone turned their light on no no no no no no no no the sun came out no way it didn't win back and I'm like we now maybe we went up and down of the clouds I hate I hate I say somebody yeah cuz y'all feel me I hate you there's no way the sun came out for a second I thought it did you felt like you did something happened but if we went under the clouds it's not the light you right maybe is that you know what I hate I you know what this is why I don't share or or to light my sun
L.A. you right we could have under clouds or she was high I mean yeah I mean yeah it did I saw some some red was on the wing and I say what is that is that a light and then I like but that my it was and then Jesus was calling yeah yeah yeah then Jesus rang my phone I was in the way so the plane right I had a ball anyway the jet lag yes so I feel good I feel good I mean I think like so I did I probably slept here's what I'd say the plane ride was what six and a half hours yeah they're not sleeping more than four hours on that point yeah right they're gonna talk to each other at the first beginning part and then they they wake you up like it wasn't a bad one the bad flight but I felt I felt tired when we landed at but the last night I got a good night's sleep they're gonna have to be responsible but I felt good this morning so well I hate slept more I slept like a lot of it hit me last night I was fine I made sure I didn't nap yesterday because I didn't want to throw everything off but last night what time do you fall asleep 9 30 9 maybe 9 20 I was out I want to be about one one a.n. but you naped yesterday yeah I did I was yeah well that you don't count that
but yeah I guess I don't count but I do because I was great but I do but I do think it is reinforced to me they're making the right decision but I know if you needed a nap in the middle of the day yesterday I know because I mean drinking all time like yeah as long as they don't you know partake I guess right here I have been drinking a whole time so I was I needed a nap okay then I was good so as long as they don't drink it take gummies on the right here they're fine oh I got I don't think the support staff is gonna be here yeah yeah that makes sense actually all right on the right you have no perfect experience to get my my play right was love so let let's just unpacked out though I look at it was fine I was really tired you took a nap because you were drunk you're fine you may have seen Jesus so everything we've said for the last three minutes means nothing to be done yeah they'll be alright right I mean I don't think we can blame the travel on why they lose yeah no yeah we're gonna blame it on other stuff yeah we're gonna throw some other folks under the
bus yeah we're gonna throw Willie Lampkin under no we're not throwing Willie Lampkin with the Willie Lampkin in Ben Flake are they gonna start in the yard by the way Ben Wallace so Ben Wallace look for the pistol Ben Ben wasn't made Ben Kennedy Ben Kennedy drew Kendall yeah that guy guy so disrespectful Ben he was on the injured report the knee injury he didn't practice yesterday Ben Kennedy yeah Ben can see why people get mad at me and say me in the hurt you think quickly that they would do Kendall at at Garden Lampkin at center move Kendall again I think they would keep Kendall at center but Willie Lampkin is a short dude who's pretty crazy like hey people don't be surprised with somebody jump over with an African yeah the two guys that told me they're not rebuilding and now they're saying they're gonna jump over our new left guard you guys are something I would like listen if I was playing I would definitely try could you could you hurt a Willie Lampkin not now I know I'm going back in the day I ain't hurt in this water bottle 24 he's got like a hundred more pounds of muscle than me but Willie Lampkin's not much taller than
no eat their toe no I would try you kind of see it if I had you seen Jacksonville defense of light they're pretty big yeah I would try I would try to hurt I would try to jump over top of the Willie Lampkin well the last time we played Jacksonville it was the Sequan back return this time we could get the hurdle over Willie Lampkin I'll try to pitch your Jack Del Rio on the sideline like he was trying to hurt it over offensive looking bad yeah like I ain't gonna be hit him on no way so why not yeah all right let's go back to the phone lines we'll get to you people in a few minutes OG Wade is up on wip OG OG what's up man we're doing good hey got my boy you down there all banged up and everything bad not yet we're OG not yet but give me by giving my 15 20 more minutes and make it up this time I really can't see in there yeah me that's right that's right that's right let me let me touch on some things for a second here one I think their Eagle Goldman Sunday because I think Jacksonville's gonna play down to us because of
all the issues we got and they not used to being a favorite so they don't talk to me OG 10 make me feel better by talking to talk to him OG talk to him so I think that that there is okay and I think Jellin will be able to throw over the middle now because Willie Lampkin he can see over top of the thing he hit they you know what that's a that's a good thing are you worried about anybody jumping over top of him though OG he's that tall he's I really tell you that tall but Drew Kendall is taller he can't do got to say this you really play with that shortman in a disease oh no he he plays angry he definitely plays angry I still try to jump over though I hope you got some breath you know breath yeah yeah make you pay but I'm still trying I'm a still trying I'm a try I'm gonna try and go yeah I'm thinking on on on this jail and earth thing man I think we are so far out of the the mold and the ram of everything because of the makeup of the team right now you don't know how
you're gonna be way jailin and Nick with all of the issues that we got I mean these are people keep saying well there's like quarterback playing with bad old lines they need one quarter pack they're coming into a game play with a bad old line play and then three hours before that your best old lineman said he's not playing and then second uh they're getting this uh the the plays are going take one leaves out the game early that's your startling in that you lose your third run and you don't have your your best receiver flitting you don't have your best fate and daughter and I don't know what you're trying to get out of that you know I'm saying the best yeah we'll ship this car name but I'm just gonna leave it a win and I'm gonna be honest with you let me ask Bob is this he's gonna go to the court and kick that one in fact on the two-yard line do you think that game yes if they want on the two you're looking at these if they score from the two oh yeah
they win the game yeah they're up there are 17 with seven minutes to go that's not lost on me that's what that's what's so crazy it was that close that's going on is that we went from from being in the game and almost winning to now we in a rebuild oh we appreciate it um by the coach and staff got there it's he talked to a melody he's right and it's good and you guys both in it it's gonna be hard to evaluate jail on the neck like what are we evaluating them yeah yet Ellie remember 2020 that offensive line was terrible they all got hurt right yeah juman Brett was a juman brown they kind of cut him after a game they still got rid of the coach and the quarterback after the scene well he's only thing I'd say though it was bad then and they those guys didn't come back they got rid of the coach the quarterback asked out yeah but okay but you know I just admit it they benched him they put that in motion that's fair that's a fair I mean like I think they were they knew where the whole thing was probably going all right before we go any further I wish I would have thought that one Ike to that that to me last week that's a good idea oh yeah yeah I'll be ready for that one's throwing that out all right let's um let's check it with you people Ellie gets me part of you
people remember they're talking about Ellie on the couch oh I'm sure they are well we'll get to Elliott and how you people reacted in a little bit also a couple wow the piece of audio that people wanted to hear replayed from your guys this time down there at our passion avenue okay in London same dopes different country different continent too yeah they sent us all the way across the world yeah good line good line I didn't know jet lag Joe caused awful takes syndrome but I had the awful takes at home yeah that one that was not as good yeah you're talking about I mean come on yep are Joan you live from Hughes Hotel Room no we're at a bar it does kind of look like if you just turn it on it looks like there's like you guys are at the like top of a bed like they're well that'd be weird yeah that'd be weird it'd be land in the bed talking yeah it's we're like an embalcanine so this is kind of the setup up here it's kind of packed in here now man yeah well it's almost happy hour yeah we got uh what the hell is this football pillow talk with
Joan Hugh it did look kind of weird that's right yeah yep I would not would not surprise me at all if you thought that he was in Australia yeah the barbie yeah that's not here uh man Hugh dog looks like he can put back so much tea have you gone for tea yet no you know it's funny that's probably why I couldn't get none eat because they were going for tea what time he drink tea around here well there's tea time yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that's what it was because that could when I asked for a sandwich there's like no bro bro bro bro bro I like when you put that when you put that video up you basically accused all of London and going on break you tried one restaurant yeah and I gave up but no as if the rest of the city wasn't moving but no then I found it was like I walked around the corner where I got lost yeah and I found like a a a cafeteria but I ain't going there because I ain't feel like you know what why because I just didn't he's I didn't feel confident in the cafeteria no I didn't okay I'm not gonna ask why let's just but just leave it there you feel like going okay so uh I just pointed this out to me actually
and people did mention it in the uh YouTube chat because you can tell about like an hour so in that Joe's back was just in shambles oh it's okay yeah cuz that's why I got up you can start to lean back on the couch yeah so I so here's so here's so here's the real problem logistically you just got to embrace it so well yeah there's a little bit stated back with his shambles so so if you're watching and I've leaned back like Elliott this is way more comfortable but the call screener where I press the calls up is all the way on the table I can't reach it from here so like I to take calls I have to sit all the way up oh I need like a heat heating pad we're done we're done a lot of I could do it almost I need a beer is what I need you need a pint yeah you need a pint yeah let's see oh would pay very good money to see you trying to sing the background vocals on the lion sleeps tonight no no no that's the background yeah the back we move away move away move away like that yeah speaking of that I know any guy not doing some
I you know ladies told me a warm ass beer last night and I thought that's what how they drink beer she gave you warm ass hanky I don't really do like around the corner and I said excuse me miss do you have any cold beer wow and she was like I'm sorry like she gave me like she gave you like no she didn't she didn't she didn't get me a free beer but I was tripping because I'm like I'm drinking this it I was like drinking this warm ass hanky and I'm like who drinks warm beer I mean good of you for asking you know what I heard about that lady in her attitude I didn't I I was nice you know you want to be the black big black dude and run it and give it to people add it to yeah I think about that's the minute we got here I try not to be down to go I'm trying to be that guy yep uh just tuning in how did you and Joe get JD Vance on the show I do get that wait a minute seriously oh yeah I get him Leonardo DiCaprio the tour lose uh Connor McGregor and JD Vance and Leo DiCaprio not exactly yeah yeah different feelings on that for sure who was uh who was uh uh the used to be the CPM defend
oh you were fed you were fed there more how would you power rank what people call you like it in your real you want to be Leo yeah yeah yeah do you think Leo has ever been in Philly and asked if he was Elliott you know me yeah yeah are you Elliott yeah JD Vance Mark says a chance to really hit them I like that one yeah JD JD SP JD Vance it's crazy all right a couple quick pieces of audio this one request by Joe but also the people on YouTube chat it to this happened oh sorry that's my fault I want this one first it's me yelling at the wall no no no there's a reason that I I pulled that okay that's my bad but this is the one that Joe wanted me to pull you're so shy the afternoon show is gonna have fun with that one it's not there's so many other ones you could pair that with it I've played with guys
wow you you did it today I love you so much oh where's my where's my waiters you are the piece of it I I have to replay this just because I love everything that this clip represents especially given what happens in the background as Joe is yelling at Lamar about the Eagles about to draft the quarterback yeah four Eagles then you guys arguing about taking a quarterback and people just doing an Eagles jet the background I don't know if you ever want to explain to someone what is WIP sound like just send them that yeah that's perfect that's it it was a good day I think you get a couple
