We will detail that and all of our wildest reactions to the football weekend. A lot to sort through Kendra. I almost forgot how hectic, how stressful an NFL Sunday can be. Once a year it's a reminder that you can't really appreciate it until you live it. I mean, I'm on the edge of my seat. I'm stressed out to the max. I've probably took years off of my life. I overbete the card. I gotta learn this lesson every year. How was your weekend? I had a fantastic weekend. I snuggled on the dog with snuggled on the couch with the dog.

4:06It's not snuggled on the dog. Snuggled on the couch with the dog. It consumed way too much football. I made some chicken wings when for a WA okay. That was pretty much my weekend. It was good. Yeah, lots of football. The dog is in the room. She can't say the word for those that are wondering why she's spelling the word. There are lots of words. I'm sure you have that as well. Australian shepherds are brilliant. Yes, mine is getting old. So he's kind of dumb now. I think I could get away with walk. Sorry, I shouldn't have said that out loud. If my weekend was an album title, I want you to think about this for a second too. For the weekend. The weekend that you had. This could go in many different directions. Okay. Over-eager bet mush, I think, would be mine. I just went way too hard into the paint, over-sizing my bets, not composed in my selections. Part of my issue is that I've been betting for week one, for four months. So it's not even like I was sitting there just like,

5:07like a 14-year-old who got his dad's phone just like mashing the keys on Sunday morning. I made two bets on Sunday morning, but it tipped me over the scales. I'm not happy with myself and I'm not happy with Camarie Lasseter because all would have been okay in the world. I would have come out slightly ahead from Sunday, had Camarie Lasseter just caught the yellow ball from Josh Allen, but instead he drops it and then you can't give Allen second opportunities. She throws a touchdown on the next pass attempt and here we are. So I'm. We will. We will get into my beef with you and John in a minute. But for my own sake, how many bets did you have yesterday? Because I'm just not one of those people. We talk about this all the time. I make less than 10 bets on any given anything and that's it. I'm not kidding when I say this Kendra. It is the thing that I respect the most about you. It is the thing I try and learn from people that I admire in my life.

6:10And there's a lot of them and the thing I try and learn from you is to be more composed in my betting because when I am, I'm pretty good at this. When I'm not, I'm always bad at it. So I don't know why I do this to myself. I had 13 bets going yesterday between props and teasers and straight bets and it's too much. It's too much. But a lot of that just has to do with and it's a reminder for the next year. You know, this is the first full year now that we've been doing this podcast. I've always had the anniversary to us. Happy anniversary, guys. We started I think like really week one last year. Yeah. So this past off season was the first off season where I was breaking down an NFL betting card for five months. I'd never really done that before and it did not go well for me. So it's not even like an overthink. It's just we just have too much time on our hands.

7:11Add it to the algorithm next year. Yeah. The process was okay. I just sort of over processed. There was just too much. I mean, it's like it's kind of like it. Your Thanksgiving or whatever. Like where you just it's not what you eat. It's that you never fucking stop to eating. That was the problem. Eventually something's going to go wrong if you do that. And so that was my issue. The biggest bonehead this weekend of the entire betting card for me was myself. But you know what? We get it out of the way early Kendra. It's all good. Now in the contest, we still have an opportunity to come out ahead. Even though the Texans bet that I nominated did not get home. It should have. It didn't. I just said Texas Texas did not choose y'all. I told Mallory my wife for those that don't know her name. I told her because I had live bet the Texas Longhorn's the night before. Plus two and a half. And then they go down to one e to three.

8:13They come all the way back and win the game. So I win that bet. And Houston is now in the doorstep of covering at the end of the game. Before Josh Allen throws that yellow ball that doesn't get intercepted. I said I will line dance in the living room to Ella Langley if he catch. If the Texans cover because this would be two times in a row that I've miracle covered on a Texas team, I was going to start dancing and it didn't end up happening. So you know, the family was saved from that back to the point. Three and two. We have an opportunity to go three and two. If the Denver Broncos cover two and a half, I vetoed the Ravens. My apologies again on that part of the weekend of screw ups. What was your plan? And y'all really screwed us over. I had the Jags nominated. I had. Well, I did too. I mean, that was John's fault. I'm really to put that on your dream ski. I should have used my veto on your stupid Texans bills.

9:13And the Ravens I was so right about. So I overgrett the Texans. I just regret that they didn't get the job done. I felt like the read was right. The defense was not there for them. So the game certainly didn't go the way that I thought. But they should have covered that. They should have covered that three different things. And I say something. I get that that game was high scoring. But I kind of hated it. I wanted to see defensive football with, you know, some big stops. And I get that it was high scoring and people love. I think I put this in my personal notes. I heard last night that it was the highest scoring week one since like the merger. Which is crazy that I had so many undershit. And that's the case. But I just it was high scoring. I wanted to see more defense. I didn't have the best time watching this game. And I was in very much in the camp that I thought that this would be one of the best games of the year. And I was pissed when they put it in this window. I'm actually glad that this wasn't prime time now. Did the NFL know something? I don't. Well, they got to throw some of the good ones at one o'clock.

10:14That game was great as far as it being highly competitive. I thought CJ Stroud outside of a couple of turnovers looked really good. But it was not the flow that we expected. And it's the reason why I have a really hard time betting totals in the NFL because of things like this. I mean, that's so game script dependent. It turns into a shootout at the end. And once you get once Josh Allen starts feeling it. It's like, okay, you can have the best defense in the world. There's only so much that you can do. And the if you like defense Sunday was not for you. 96 points scored in the Bears Panthers game. 94 to the over where the games on the Sunday card. So so over. You are John who tried to convince me of the Panthers. I think it was you. It was. You know what's crazy too is that if so if I had told you, okay, I want to take the Panthers. And I've already seen into the future.

11:14And. Bryce Young has 361 passing yards with three touchdowns. And they score 37 points. You'd be like, bet your house on it. And they still there is defense blows. Yes. Yes, yes it does. 478 yards of offense for the Carolina Panthers. I promise you if I could bet this I would that will not happen again all season long for the Carolina Panthers. And I cannot help but stare at this this total in week two between the Bears and the Vikings sitting at 49 and a half right now. That is very tempting to take the over anything involving Chicago. Depends on Kyler. Are we sure that it like I almost want to take the under of Kyler plays he looked terrible and his in his early time Carson wins. I will not be him for one of the awards we have.

12:16Okay. So let's see where to next again we need the Broncos to cover. And we'll go three and two week one which I will take I'll accept that what is your one big takeaway this weekend what is Kendra Middleton's one big takeaway from the Sunday slate. I know that this is a home or take but the Jags are sick they so easily could have just come out week one and took their foot off the gas they absolutely didn't got to bench Trevor. And Dishon looked like crap this team some of the throws that he made I just. I'm going to see this actually this is my real one big takeaway we are writing off quarterbacks way too quickly in this league I've been experiencing it all week with Drake may hear in New England specifically I went through it with Trevor there were times right. I'm done with this this there's no coming back from here I think the overall takeaway that I have is that we need to give some of these young guys some grace and some room to grow and not write them off so quickly we've seen so many careers turn around over the last couple of years.

13:22Like Baker may feel though I did not think that he had the best week Sam Darnell Gino Smith before he went back to you know Smith. And now Trevor Lawrence has grown up a bit I just my overall takeaway is that I don't think quarterbacks develop as quickly as we would like them to and we need to really just step back and give them a little bit longer before we freak out as a fan base in any fan base. Yeah I mean look at CJ Stroud he's had his ups and downs but people are already writing him off. Jaden Daniels had a rough second season. I thought he looked pretty good yesterday Jalen Hertz people were all in on him wins the Super Bowl MVP's in top five some people's rankings and then just falls all the way out and becomes a guy that most people would not want to start a franchise with. And he's somebody in a new offense I thought looked pretty sharp I mean Justin Herbert I don't know where he falls into that mix and thinking about some of the guys that we just haven't formed full opinions on yet and and look some of them aren't going to work out but in the most for the most part I think you're right I think allowing these quarterbacks to mature especially those that go through big offensive coordinator changes I think that's I think that's important.

14:38I'm going to say something nice about Justin Herbert are we ready to clip yeah are we ready to clip this if I am a fan of probably over 20 teams in the NFL and I'm looking for a quarterback in the next you know one to three years I would take Justin Herbert over a draft pick you know kind of gamble I got to be honest. This could be a good year for that because they're going to be some teams that are racing to the bottom to get one of these top picks and I've seen enough archmaning to say I'm not I don't think that you should be making your your regular season plans if you're any of these NFL franchises off of what this kid is looked like. You should make any of your plan around a number one pick I'm sorry look at the guys in the NFL right now who are crushing it and work number one picks sorry not sorry you can get a quarterback further back than one I'd rather. Now I'm a great example of how these scouts like really have no idea what they're talking about just like the rest of us don't say more.

15:44Is been we've been told for the last couple of months this is going to be the top quarterback taken in the draft it's either him or archmaning have you watch these guys play yet they're terrible. I mean there are least average that you can't plan your future around these quarterbacks that aren't even succeeding at the college level. It's yeah it's madness so um that's the positive can turn on the Jags she covered on the Jags we should have nominated we should have put them in the contest we both did nomin if we both have a nomination it's got to go in I mean this. I don't feel like it's a bully our guest I think we need to start bullying the guests I would like to put my foot down. We're bullying guests from now you and I it's so hard for you and I to agree on anything if we agree on a spread and it's the Jags like we got everything we agreed about this week was a W. 49ers will get to the birds of the year and the Jags yep but didn't all go well we've got receipts.

16:47You got to prove it to me I got to see evidence I'll show you the receipts you don't believe me I have to receipt for it right here and this is where we're going to take our shots at each other for the stupid things that we say on this podcast you've been in on the browns all off season Kendra this might be the worst team in the NFL zero chance this team hits their win total over. The Sean Watson is awful I have a theory I think that they are just giving the Sean the start to the season there's no way that they can put him as a starter in a home opener without absolutely getting boot out of there I don't know if you saw yesterday because you're not on Jags internet there were browns fans less than 10 rows up in the stands who went and bought Jags jerseys and put them on like I don't think yes yes like I don't think that you can start him. At your home opener without people absolutely losing their mind and I wholeheartedly believe yes I have a ticket on them to win I think over five I can't have it's four and a half or five and a half games I have way too many futures to be honest I think it's five and a half but if they put Shadour in at some point I think it's an addition by subtraction situation I don't think that they're that far off talent wise but I think the team will get up for Shadour.

18:08They were bad. Pretty bad at everything and Sean Watson actually threw a gorgeous deep ball to Denzel Boston with two minutes left that version of Watson could be interesting but what he looks like the other 58 minutes of the game it's just it's not it's not good enough and because you know I'm talking about Watson you zero on the run and then what and then their defense is rebuilt to you know so they don't they just have no redeeming qualities I don't think Todd Monkins a good head coach I don't know where this team even finds whether you have four and a half or five and a half I don't think it matters so don't think they're hitting the over I get that they lost miles care but I do think that they got better in some places like I like the Denzel Boston edition I like Casey Concepcion I really think the Jared verse is one of the most valuable players with his contract being what it is it is position right now I know that they're going to eventually other have to sign them or let them go but I just they got better in certain spots outside of you know losing miles but the quarterback position is just such a dumpster fire.

19:12So you said that we need to give quarterbacks a little more time I wonder how long we're going to feel that way about cam ward and one of the other teams that you've been in on the Titans are right behind them. Titans Brown's dolphins are in a dog fight for being the worst team in the NFL don't let the Jets trick you they have tricked me I heard about them in week two. Okay, who are they playing the Packers? Credit I get I know I get it I'm sure that this is an overreaction I don't just don't think the line has moved enough I think the Packers are going to kick their ass. This is why when we agree it's got to go in the contest because you should. You stress me out and alright and I bet their money line okay so um look. It's hard for me to give you shit after the weekend that you had the weekend that you had the weekend that I had they're very different you were five and one on your card you've been talking shit about Justin Herbert all off season he was terrible the Raven smashed the Raiders look sharp the bangles defense is lights out most of the game they turn Baker may field over four times I think yesterday before I move on is there anything I mean there you've got plenty to choose from is there anything you want to give me shit on.

27:26was the first quarter back of the season to throw for 400 plus yards if you told me that I would be saying that while I was watching this guy in the second quarter I would have thought you were crazy so hats off to you my friend Tyler shock my cash of the week and I was on the Saints plus seven and a half. My question for you about this game is who do you think it said more about. It's a good question I think it says more about the Lions I'm a little concerned this is another bet that I've made so it kind of goes counter to what I'm about to tell you here because I'm on the Lions plus three and a half against the bills on Thursday night I just like that you're getting the hook but I am a little worried season long about the Lions with this up 21 to nothing at home and you blow it that defense has always been the issue Jared Goff out dueled by Tyler's shock they can't give the ball to Jamir Gibbs 30 times a game he's not going to survive the season that way I'm I'm worried about the Lions season I'm going to have to be so careful with my

My crash is I think it's going to be Baker Mayfield I'm sorry I just you just got signed you can't go out there and put a stinker like that up I get the bangles are a good scene but they tried to give it to you at times and Baker just It was the fact that he had the distractions with the contract going on in the preseason. Everyone's talking about quarterbacks, not getting enough work in the preseason, but he didn't look ready to go. He just didn't. I don't know what it was, but Baker Mayfield is my crash. Yeah, I agree. I think some people are going to look at the completion percentage and be like, no, it wasn't that bad. 23 of 28. Didn't have any touchdowns.

29:29Took four sacks. I would venture to guess that all of them were on him and not the offensive line. Their O line wasn't as good as I think it can be with the talent they have. They should have a top five offensive line. I don't think they played like that. You got to give some credit to the Bengals defensive line. They was able to get through, but every, it seemed like every time Baker was turning the ball over, it was because he was holding the ball too long in the pocket. Yet three fumbles lost all three. You just can't do that as six point game where you're right. Like the Bengals should have blown the box out. They didn't. But I definitely come away from this questioning what the bucks can be offensively. They can't run the football and Baker may field. If he's just going to be yellow, try and save the day holding the ball till every last second, it's just not going to work. And he's going to get himself hurt. He had a couple of a couple of those sacks where he was slammed to the floor like a pro wrestler. Can we talk about something sneaky that the Bengals did? Did you see them put in Joe Flacco for that play to try and change it?

30:31I was very confused. They were just trying to draw the bucks off sides and do you use them? I think that there was one of two things. They are either trying to change the cadence to draw them off or if they were going to cubie sneak, I think you, I think that their thought process is doing it with Flacco instead of Joe Borough to keep him healthy. I'm serious. It's one of those two things. It's literally one of those two things. And it very well could be both. Let's try and draw them off sides. If we like the formation that they're in, then Joe can sneak it and they call the time out and they put Borough back in. But yeah, it's a good call out by you. I don't think I've ever seen that. I really like it. I thought that that was so smart. And listen, I don't think that the Bengals have the smartest coaching staff and the league have been rather vocal about that through the preseason. I think that Zach Taylor probably has the shortest leash in the league. But that was smart. I got to say just even the thought of trying to change a cadence in that moment, I don't hate it at all. I actually really, I think that that's brilliant.

31:32The cubie sneak has never been more prevalent than it is right now. The idea of having, for the other example of what this could have been, having a quarterback that's just there to mash into the offensive line. That's not a bad idea either. Yeah. No. I mean, I went to this on both fronts. I like it. I thought it was really smart. Yeah. I'm going to go back to Thursday, Friday, whatever day it was in Australia. But how can you not be rethinking your Rams positions right now if you bought in on this team? Not only do they get Mileywopt by the 49ers, they lost Miles Garrett for a month. I've downgraded them severely in my power ratings. They are now a top heavy bunch that simply isn't deep enough to sustain their stars, either A not being good or B being hurt. And I'm a little concerned about the Rams. This is another, I only have four bets for the next week. I know it sounds like I've already made a million, but the Giants plus seven and a half

32:33on Monday night football Rams coming back from Australia without Miles Garrett. I think this is a major concern. It'll be Aaron Donald's first game with the Rams. And you know, he's looking around like, this isn't exactly what I thought I was getting into. I am not going to take a victory lap after week one because I could still really get got here, but I'm feeling pretty good about my future after watching them. I think the most interesting storyline here and I hate to keep harping on the travel, but it's really going to be was the Rams punting this game with their travel schedule worth it into the 49ers really have any sort of hangover. I think that that truly is going to be the story of the week here between these two teams. I know that Miles Garrett is a huge loss. Aaron Donald potentially coming back also a huge storyline, but from as like a whole team perspective, this fascinates me far more. Yeah. They were talking about that a lot on football night in America last night. Can you really punt on a divisional game where it kind of counts as a game and a half when you consider who you're going up against and how good that division is?

33:36And now the Rams are sitting behind the Cardinals in the standings, which is awesome. Yes. Awesome birds of the year, baby. Go redbirds. All right. Who's your clutch of the weekend? My clutch of the weekend, I feel like it's got I was going to go with Jalen Hertz. We already talked about them. It's going to be Caleb Williams for me. We haven't talked about this. Came a ton. I thought that the Bears offense looked absolutely surgical. He talk about a kid who I think just needed a little bit of time to develop. 59 points from that offense is awesome. I guess that they ran the ball a lot, but I really enjoyed watching the Bears. I thought that he was fantastic. Caleb was great. I think that if there's a futures bet to add to the portfolio, it might be Caleb for MVP. Seven. No, there's schedules way too tough. There's no way he can continue this. I like, I love Caleb. I think that he's fantastic. I believe in him, but they're scheduled this season. Can't do it. So the and that would hold him back and the fact that this team is as good as they are

34:42running the football that might end up taking away from some of the credit that he gets. Kendra's probably right. Josh Allen Lamar, Jackson, Caleb, Williams, those are the short shots right now for MVP. You're probably better off. If you like the idea of betting Caleb, wait until he has a bad game. All three of those are stinky. I mean Lamar. Oh, my goodness. They can't say healthy. He's going to shit himself in December. I'm telling you Lamar on turf. I don't know why I talked you out of that. I really don't. I've that is one of the bigger grits of the weekend. I knew it. I have been talking shit about the Colts all preseason. They're going to be the worst team in this division. I know the Titans looked like ass, but I think the Colts are double ass. Just in better wrapping. They at least have some redeeming quality to them. They can always hand the ball off to Jonathan Taylor. I don't know what the Titans do well. I don't know.

35:42I know. They're ball. They have a ball. I like there. I like Robert Salah. He was dealt a bad hand here. That is a bad roster. The Bears ran for 292 yards and six touchdowns in that game. That was it was good as Caleb Williams was. Their running is elite with the guys they have offensive line. I thought they were going to take a step back without Drew Dolman. That doesn't seem like that's the case. My clutch is another team inside of the same division. The Minna Soda Vikings Carson Lens three touchdowns. The up this game fits me off so bad. Why? What about this game? It just was annoying to watch the the freaking penalties were annoying. The Crabbits. I think the Vikings got a couple of breaks, but they dominated that fourth quarter. 22 to zero in the final frame of this game. When's looked bad at the beginning, but he really settled in.

36:43And the most important thing he did is he got Justin Jefferson involved who looked like he was about to request a trade in the middle of it. I'm still on it. I'm still on it. I'm sorry. I that was my hot take of the year was that he was going to request a trade and people lost it on Instagram about that. By the way, but now Kyler Murray's hurt. He looked like crap before he got hurt. You're not going to be able to ride that hand for the rest of the season. Carson Wentz is in a number one, Jay Jay McCarthy sucks. I love you, Max Brozmer, but no. What are we doing here? I don't know. I don't know what the Vikings do. I don't know what they do. Crabbits do promise me that you're not going to fall in love with the fucking Minna Soda Vikings right now. I'm not. I'm not. Okay. No, that's not going to be that's not this is a plant fly a flag plant. I'm not there. Do not fall in love with the Minnesota Vikings. This is a short term. One night stand. This is not something you can grow. There's no like the seeds are there, but they are not going to be watered.

37:44Do not fall in love with honestly, frankly, neither either of these teams. So from a from a football perspective, what I found fascinating about this game is that Brian Flores is so dug in to throwing extra pressure at quarter racks that it wasn't working for almost three full quarters. And he said, fuck it. I'm going to keep doing it anyway. The Packers had eight, they had completions of 81, 43, 42 and 30. That just means you don't have enough defenders on the back end. You're throwing extra bodies of Jordan love and it wasn't working. And he was so dug in to this is going to work. Crazy. Make it. You that's the crazy. That's the crazy part is that it wasn't working. And then it did and it worked all at once. Jordan love was pressured on 78% of his dropbacks. And and the damn broke Vikings 22 to zero in the fourth quarter. It was the mo it was the most stubborn defensive game plan that had no business

38:45working and it worked. And that's why it's like, yeah, I respect him as a DC as a leader. With between his over aggressiveness and Carson Wentz and they can't really run. I can't buy into the Minnesota Vikings. And I think maybe that's the overreaction of the weekend that other people will trip into and not us is that Minnesota is something that they're not. Yeah, I think the Packers were better than they showed yesterday, but they definitely have some lessons to learn. I think what helps them is the coaching. So this is one that we that we have on our sheet today that I don't know who to nominate for this. So I'm just going to defer to you. Who would you nominate is the diva of the weekend? He's just a diva. No, I'm not an impossible diva. Well, it makes you say something like that. It's pretty obvious. Diva hello. Diva of the week at Madison beer. Yeah, she looked she looked so good. But diva of the weekend, I didn't have the internet in a frenzy.

39:45That is for sure. She really had the boys. She was she really had the boys going a little crazy. Diva of the weekend. That's a really good question. I don't know. I don't know. Mate, Diva of the weekend, can you give me yours? I don't have one. So I was really. I need another. I know we're going to do this. I need to think about it. I you know, I think it's one of those things that you don't force it if it's not there. I can't really. I need to see what what I haven't watched yet as I'm doing all of the the recap. I need post game pressers because that's that's one I can really make that decision. I have one. Tom Brady dropping a butterfly reference during the broadcast. Diva of the week right there. I did not. I whatever he said about butterflies having soft legs or something. I don't know. That was crazy. But that was a Diva call. All right. All right. A little. Insect. 40:47You'll have to look into it. There was like a play where he. Someone threw a pass to like the corner in zone and it just like fell in their bread basket. I don't know who he was throwing to, but he just goes. That was like a butterfly having like soft legs or something. Butterfly with tired legs is what production saying. It was so weird. I only saw it on red zone and I just kind of was like, what did he just say? And so that's my Diva of the weekend. Butterfly. I'm glad that we didn't hear that because the butterfly is sort of a soft subject in the Kravitz household. We had a couple of chrysalis's outside that my wife was monitoring and they've disappeared. And so we'll add that we didn't because I would have been that could have could have wrecked the four o'clock window. And we heard about the boy face. R.I.P. R.I.P. to butterfly nation in my backyard. All right. Let's bring in the Oracle Evan Abrams. Evan, what did you learn this weekend that you'll be taking with you as we venture into the future? I tend to week by week just first of all, it's up guys, but also I tend to look

41:48by week. A few stats, a few stats that keep me grounded to see like what mattered. And these are really simple, but I feel like they're kind of interesting. So the teams that had more third downs when 10 and four straight up, 10, three and one against the spread. Pretty normal stuff. Teams who let it the half 13 and two straight up, 11, three and one against the spread. And then this one going into Monday night football teams who won the turnover battle 12 and illustrate up 10, one and one against the spread. So things of that nature, I feel like continue to always be important when looking at these things and trying to predict week to week, which is always a difficult task, but they are decent predictors. And everyone has a different conversation about this. But I feel like it's interesting nonetheless. And then the other one, oh, sorry, go craft. No, I was going to ask just to clarify the third down stat. That's that's not the amount of third downs. That's the amount of conversions that you have. No, it's a actual third downs made is all I care about and that. Yeah, versus like the actual percentage. But these are just like simple things I look at.

42:48And then one other thing I'll give you is just the overreaction and like Brandon and Brandon Anderson and so many other people here will talk about this. As we get into week two, but just a simple one teams to lose by more than one possession, nine points or more in week one who are underdogs in week two, 62% against the spread last 20 years, 12 straight seasons, 500, 80s or better. So pretty consistent year to year, you're going to get 500 or better in this. And of course, these are the worst of the worst. So this would be betting Miami, betting the Colts, betting the Titans and betting the Browns. So good luck to everybody, but year to year, this is something that shows up in week two. Who are your winners, losers? And is there anybody that you fell in love with this weekend or that you're looking at for next week already? Winners and losers. Well, I put in the chat in terms of the divas stuff. I hated this. The fond digs basically cost Washington the game based on that situation with the touchdown, you know, typical his situation, but also the CD lam stuff

43:52last night, like he was taunting and taunting and then they basically almost lose by two scores, things like that. Ground my gears. If you're talking about actual like overreaction, it's like almost impossible. What the heck we do is Chicago. I mean, normally you would say it seemed like that who scores that many points comes back down to earth, very difficult to predict, but I will say this Minnesota next week and you get Flores and the Blitz. It should be a different situation versus Carolina. We thought Caroline's defense was going to be a little bit more feisty than this, but man, I'm telling you, Minnesota should be different. Devon Lloyd, I got to be honest. I he did not look good yesterday. It was one week shot of ventral Miller. I think he was the highest PFF grade for the Jaguars yesterday. I'm a let I'm a let them cook. I'm a let them. But if you, but if you want to look at overreaction, think about this. So you've got Chicago now facing that Flores and Minnesota defense and Carolina is now going to get Atlanta. So if Atlanta still doesn't have a quarterback, Carolina's defense probably going to look much better in week two. Yeah.

44:52That is going to be an interesting thing to look for. Evan is what defenses that we thought were going to be good actually show up. Dallas would be another one. We thought was going to not be elite, but be a lot better than they were last year. And they just let the giants do whatever they wanted last night. But to expect, you know, this is one of the biggest incorrect reads that I made was that with the lack of teams playing their guys in the preseason, that it was going to impact offenses. And it turns out that it was the other way around. Defenses seem to be impacted by that. So is that something that you think we should look for moving forward? Is the teams that we think have defensive talent to whip back into shape in weeks, two, three, four? That's something that we should keep our eye on. Don't take it for me. I mean, I heard Mike Tomlund talk about this on NBC last night. The way they're doing things in the preseason and the way they're preparing seems to just be helping offenses earlier on. So I think that's just something to look at, especially when totals were like 43 and 22 week one prior to this.

45:53We saw that a little bit out of the gate, but yesterday offences as we've heard everywhere through the roof. One more I'll give you. So Houston, obviously in an absolute battle with Buffalo, letting all those points up, defense doesn't look fantastic. Other than under Domingo, when they allow 30 plus next week, they're eight and no straight up six and two against the number. Obviously you've got Cincinnati here, which is a completely different animal, but usually they show up the next week. But this is a completely different offense with burrow and such. So be fascinating to see how that defense looks a week after. That is an interesting one. Texans. That is a good one. In that game. The Texans most points surrendered since week three of 2024. I was one of the key stats that I wrote down this weekend. Also, Evan, last thing for you. First time head coaches making their debut. I wanted to track this for two against the spread. So those guys performed quite well. Can we put that in the AI model for next year? That doesn't seem that seems like more of an outlier though. I don't know if that's something that you already had.

46:54And what you just got you just didn't use Raiders dolphins out the window, right? Now, well, actually I did. I, well, I guess I probably didn't need to. So three and one then. Okay.
