Every day gets better than the previous day. So that's just what's going on in my world. I was listening to your most recent pod. I love that you started them at home stuff. There's a lot of breakdown. A lot of things that we want to get to here. So do some NFLs in college on the

back of it. I feel like more people, it should be talking about this. I still think it's one of the strangest things ever. We can talk about the way defense has been played in my homes and the lack of personnel and the receiving game and the whole thing. I'm just like, there's no way that he's never going to have those years. Like I can't fathom that he's not going to have a couple seasons that look like the seasons from five years ago. From what you've seen from this offense, are we going to be treated to maybe one of those elite my home seasons, which, again, I don't know what that means for the chiefs, but it would probably mean a return to the playoffs. I think if Kenneth Walker stays healthy, we are. I mean, they just went out and established the run the first week. They play with an extra offensive line and the defense of line in the back field. And it's like, okay, we're actually going to stay committed to this thing. We're going to scare you out of all the shell coverage that we've seen for the last handful of years. And they get you in single high where they get more favorable looks. And they're still popping explosive runs off of that. So it's like, man, we, you know, this is not a fake run game here. This is real.

And they're not only getting, you know, on schedule, they're popping explosives. And now, you know, the rest of the passing game comes into play. And there's more space. And they've got, you know, a chance to hit big plays. And the other thing I thought watching it is, you're seeing guys kind of settle under their roles. Didn't really know who was what. You know, you had Kelsey kind of doing his thing. But outside of that, like who's your vertical receiver? Who's working underneath? Now they kind of have guys in those roles where they're comfortable. And it's not like my home's, you know, skill set is eroded at all. I mean, he still throws the heck out of it. Yep. I've loved watching the last two weeks on offense I have. And I hope, I hope this is real. Because I don't want, I don't know. I just want the chiefs involved. I want your reservation being. What would you like if you're going to say you're worried that it isn't real? Yeah. That there's not a number one here. Yeah. You know, I think rice is hit or miss. I think generally rice is disappointing. I mean, I'm not even talking about the stuff that's disappointed. It's off

the field on top of everything else. But based on that, I think we're these limited. I think Thornton. There's always been a bit of a disconnect there. I think Kelsey will look older later in the season. And I know that they've, you know, no, no, a great is not a bad number two tight end at all. I think the offensive line, like it was just such a mess. You know, it was such a mess last year. It was like, all right, Patrick, just save us every single one of these. I mean, it's not shocking that he got hurt because you've watched those games being like, what? Like, this isn't there's no way. Then when he gets hurt, you're like, well, that was, that was fairly obvious. So maybe it's, um, maybe it's a weapons personnel thing outside of Walker. But like, I'm with you and I was listening to what you're saying. Like, this is, my homes is young enough that they're supposed to be another stretch where it's like, okay, these guys are filthy again. And I, I want to see it. I think it's fun. You know, I want a huge third down in the AFC championship game where it's my homes and third nine. And you'd like, you know, that was always my thing with him. But they had a third and 12 against the Colts. And I was like, Hey, this is, we're back. I'm like, I think they still have a good chance.

Yeah. And a lot of times and he did it against the Charters of Bunch when I was in the stadium, where it would be, he'd have one conversion late in the game, a third and seven plus, even all the way up to, I think at one point time was like third and 14 or third and 16. And he got it with his legs. So I mean, he just take off and you're going to play so, you're going to play so coverage heavy and be so worried down the field. And he would just make you pay with his legs. And he's, you know, coming off that injury, he's moving really well and he's able to get those free yards that way. The, of all things you said, I think the one that maybe I will keep my eye on the most is the Kelsey thing because I think if Kelsey could maintain what he's doing now, that's the key to the whole thing because that's your third and sixth someone who can still win off what we've seen early. There's a little more quickness than what we saw last year. I don't know if he's in better shape, healthier or, or whatever it is. But that's one, the one matchup I feel good about where kind of no one where it's going. And you could still, you could still utilize him and get him the ball. So of all those things, that would be the one I would keep an eye on.

And he's looked great. He's looked great in those short yard situations, making somebody miss on the tight end or excuse me on the touchdown. Last week, you know, there's just a moment there where it was like, okay, maybe this is a little crisper than the start of last season. I think over the two seasons ago where you're kind of like, he looked a little slow because he just, I remembered, I remember talking to somebody in their personnel department in the press box during a charter's chief scheme. And I'm like, man, I remember when you guys were the fastest team in the league and you guys look so slow. Like the whole team just looks slow. And, uh, and that hasn't looked like that at all through two weeks. No. All right. Let's, uh, let's talk about this, this group of guys that they have helped to hurt their cause because coming in, you know, we had a C.J. conversation about the contract. You get a Bryce, Bryce young conversation, Jayden Daniels as well who unfortunately is hurt. Again, let's start with Bryce because I would say, hey, the division stunt last year, yes, they made the playoffs. Um, that gets baked into this idea that like Bryce has turned a corner. If you look at any of the EPA stuff, you can look

at just some of the traditional stuff. It's like, look, he's still a bottom third quarterback. Do you feel differently about that two weeks into this season? I would, I would say three weeks because I'll count the playoff games. You know, if Stafford doesn't have that comeback, I mean, I could say there's an alternate universe where, you know, he's viewed as having had to come back win over the Rams in the playoffs. That's a major milestone for him. And then you, you know, maybe there's a deal that gets done. I know they talked about it. It's not that he didn't offer him something. It just wasn't a number that he felt good about, but maybe they get a deal done last off season, just off of that one. Matthew Stafford changed that. So you have that game, which was a positive. And then you come in to start the year. They're really one of the three best offenses in the NFL right now. And I think it's what like the chiefs, the bills and the panthers. So if they're taking steps and I think that, you know, with him, it's, I think he is what he is. Like he does, he does things really well in terms of, you know, maneuvering inside the pocket. He's got a really good feel for final election time in there. He's incredibly accurate. Those are the things that you saw at Alabama. But he's dependent.

He's going to be dependent on having the pieces and the weaponry around him. And I think they've done a good job. They've not only drafted well and they've developed well, but coakers are really good player. McMillan has been a really, really good solid player form. Now you've got, now Waller's jumped in there and shown he's still got a little something left. So they've put really good pieces around him. And then he's just kind of doing the point guard thing. And I think that's, I think that's a, I think it's a winning football formula. And I, if you're asking who's helped themselves more, I said there was 11 candidates for extensions this year. The most that we've seen in a decade plus, maybe ever of contracts that were on the line this year to be done in the off season. Baker already got taken care of so that wiped one off. So there's 10. I'd make a strong case that Bryce Young helped has helped himself through two weeks more than any of the nine guys. Does Baker drive you crazy? It's just a roller coaster, you know, I bow, I'm a believer from the scouting side that some of your, you know, your personality shows up in your play. And there's,

you know, the hope that you kind of kind of just mature as a player on the field. And I thought he had reached that point, but it's just too, he's too loose, he's too loose with the ball. It's one of the things I praised Drew Lockat, you know, for when he stepped in for these two games. I thought he's, he's shown some maturity in his play and not trying to do too much. And Baker's kind of, you know, kind of fall back into some of those habits through a couple weeks. Who else has helped themselves a lot? Because I like this on some of the contract extension stuff, because I obviously think there's probably two other quarterbacks we should touch on. Well, I mean, I'm thinking more like gosh, good thing you got the deal done with with Brock Purdy, you know, when you did, because he's kind of jumped up and leveled up. So good for him, getting that accomplished of the other guys that were up. I mean, gosh, I'm trying to run through. So Caleb's hurt, Jayden's hurt, Drake has not had a great start. Bonix has been one good one bad. So that's been kind of a mixed bag. Stroud his, you know,

he's strong for a ton of yards is having one games. Thankfully, their division stinks. I was trying to, he was looking at it last year. They were o and three. And then they, they go to the playoffs. And I'm like, okay, they start out cold again this year. And then you look at the rest of the divisions one and seven. So no harm, no foul. And it's also like we don't do a very good job after the first two weeks of like going, okay, but if this team were seven and four and then had Buffalo and Cincinnati back to back. Right. And then when Owen two, he'd be like, oh, you know, they need to get right. You know, it's a human nature, which I totally understand. But there's too many times the Owen two starts. We don't look at the schedule. I mean, I know no one in Houston goes like, are you serious? Like we had the Josh Allen show come in here and we hung in there. And then apparently, since I said, he's going to defense, which I think the returns are, I know that Tampa game is a little weird, but I just think we should do a better job of going like, hey, and to the top of the games, man. Yeah. And I top everything else with the division thing. Maybe this is me being like, I'm just reluctant to give up on Houston, because I think eventually,

like, you know, way that we talked about my homes on the same level. Like there's no way Stroud just sucks. Right. I just as bad as it wasn't a playoffs. Like I just refused to believe that he sucks. And I've kind of liked what I've seen from him. And I imagine this defense is going to get right. And the schedule is going to have a stretch where we're like, oh, hey, Houston turned it around. I'm like, they might have been the exact same team. They just weren't playing Buffalo and Cincinnati. It starts season. Yeah, I tweeted something out about this because you're talking to friends in the college world. And then I'm talking to my buddies around the league. And it's such a drastic difference. Like when you talk to people in the college space and like Oregon loses to Oklahoma state. And it's like, oh my gosh, like, I mean, we might, we might, we might suck. Like we're just, it's a major concern. We didn't look good against Boise. We, we lose to Oklahoma state. Like our seasons, like going up in flames. And then you talk to teams that are oh and two. And I'm like, yeah, we're just kind of feeling our way through kind of finding what work and what doesn't work. It's like a, it's a total different level of urgency in those two sports. All right. So let's talk a little bit more about Stroud then. Yeah.

Like how would you feel about having to do the $60 million average extension, which is probably what it's going to be if he has a decent season after this year? Yeah. I mean, I, I deal you'd love to see a step taken in the post season. But I think that's going to be fake leverage that the team will try and use if we want to see, you know, this, you know, move forward once we get into big games and into the playoffs. But at the end of the day, it's a bluff because you're going to pay him. Like there's just going to be, you know, there's, there's not another alternative. They're going to win you know, enough games. They're not going to be in range to get what's going to be perceived as one of the top guys. And he's going to be much better than the other options that you're staring at. And then you're going to also sit down and say, okay, we know where the numbers are now. And this happens all the time. But if you project out and go, okay, what happens when Josh gets his next one? Daxe numbers so big, they're going to have to redo that to kind of, you know, get that back and in line with the salary cap and to be a little more comfortable there. There's such massive deals that are going to dwarf whatever you feel uncomfortable giving CJ Stroud that you're just going to give it to us.

Yep. I don't think we need to add anything else to that. There's something for everyone when it comes to Reese's. Reese's is in fact the standard. Those peanut butter cups as soon as you see them, you know, I think there's times where people see them in a bowl around the holidays and they go, I may not normally do this, but I'm doing it right now because you know when you unwrap it, you know exactly what you're getting, which is in NFL terms exactly what you're getting when you're getting prime Patrick Mahomes delivering to everybody sprained it around handed them out like Reese's minis. I think you get a spiral with a Reese's minis. I don't think it could be hard for Patrick Mahomes whatsoever, but that's the whole point is that you know exactly what you're signing up for whether it is third down or the beautiful marriage of chocolate and peanut butter on that first bite. Reese's the official candy partner of bar stool sports go get Reese's wherever you shop. Between new defensive units back there maybe we can kind of

stay in this for a little bit. Kind of units that you've gone, hey this surprised me in a good way, this surprised me in a bad way. So feel free to plug in whatever any of that stuff is, but you know revamped Dallas defense, new DC, the whole thing. How would you compare your expectations of what you've seen from Dallas through two weeks to say Cincinnati who overhauled a ton of things as well, and maybe I'm putting too much on the Houston game and not the Tampa one, but like watching that full Cincinnati game against the Texans, I was like, all right, you know this actually maybe one of those times is free to see the obvious season where they were able to put together something because clearly anything different would have been better than what Cincinnati was running out there last year. Yeah, I'm all start with Cincinnati. It's it is really different and it's different because you have a unicorn player, you know Dexter, I don't know what he weighs Ryan, he looks like 400 pounds, he maybe he's 370, he looks enormous out there and he's playing a bunch of snaps. I went through this last week, I think you play 52 snaps going through and watching it and you cannot move him, he can stack double teams, he doesn't move an inch and then you try and run okay, we got a big kind

of clog in the middle, let's just let's get him moving laterally and let's run some outside zone and he just beats the cut off blocks, gets tackled for the loss, can't block him there. And then as a pass rusher, you know, it's five times in a row where he puts his hands in your chest and just walks you back to the quarterback and then you brace for that and all of a sudden he's somehow miraculously at that size as like a little slap swim move and he just beats you with his quickness and I started thinking like, you know, I was around Holody with the with the Ravens, just a rare big guy at 350 pounds, well Will Fork was one of those guys, I thought there was a stretch of maybe a brief stretch like two or three years where Sean Rogers was one of those where you just this guy said nightmare and they're literally chargers had one of those guys didn't they? Oh, Jamal Williams, Jamal Williams was a great player. I played against him in college by the way. He was at Oklahoma State didn't go well for your guy on that one. I feel like every time it was RW McHorders, it was RW McHorders at corner, I've told you I'm only living that's world for a second two things. Number one, it was RW McHorders at

corner that Jamal Williams, I don't know where these guys are, I'm at Northeast Louisiana as a red shirt freshman. I don't remember if I started I know I played the majority of the game, but all I know it we lost like I want to say like 28 14 something like that. There's a lot of stories in this game. I throw we set up a double pass like a screen to the quarterback, right? So Marty Booker's my wide receiver who you played for the Bears. Marty is a huge arm. He's a high school quarterback. So I spit out a little quick screen to him. The line all comes over in front of me. It's a throwback. We're at like the 50. I mean, I'm walking in the end zone. I can just walking in the end zone. I just toil it bullet just the just the worst moment of my athletic career hits me in the chest. I drop it, cost myself a receiving touchdown. Just just killed me. And then RW McHorders might have taken two punts back for touchdowns in that case. That's all I can remember. We need one of these stories to be good. We need a good ending because whenever we run through some of these players will be like, I played against him, played against him. And then you just go like, did I mean, I know you played in college, but we'd be cold. I beat I feel for 300 yards when we

beat Dante Cold pepper and shoot out against UCF. So that's our that's our that was a highlight of my moment. Then the next week, I think we played Tim Lester, who was the quarterback at Western Michigan at home. And it was oddly a very cold game in Louisiana. And we were all from I'm from San Diego, the rest of our teams from the South. And we were bundled up handwormers, long sleeves. And all those Lily White Western Michigan kids came out with no sleeves on and lester's out there, just like a little tank. And we lost. So that was a tough tough one. Okay, well, I like to shoot out story. I'm glad we get to hear that. And I forgot too, like they they grabbed Miles Murphy of the first round at a Clemson 2 on top of that D line, which we had some production last year too. So they've got guys. And then Boya Maffe comes over from Seattle. They've got they've got pieces in there for Cincinnati. The other one that you mentioned Dallas. Yes. So now let's do Dallas. Yeah, I love their pieces up front. And I love Barham at linebacker. I love kind of that group that they've collected their downs, you know, anxious to see how they're

going to use him. I went to training camp and I got kind of intoxicated by the talk there and looking at that group. And then I guess I just I had I have no peripheral vision. Apparently, I never actually looked out at the corners to the left and to the right when I was there visiting because that first game I was like, Oh gosh, like they're going to have a hard time being a great defense that they can't cover on the outside. Then they had some coverage bus. I'm like, I just want to just been in the in the euphoria of that beautiful Oxnard, you know, 106 degree weather that day that I was up there. But I left going I just way miscalculated on that being a better defense. And then they look better the second week. So I think there's a limit on how good they can be just because I don't think they have the dudes on the outside. But I mean, they don't need to be great. We've said that, you know, I think everybody's saying that song is like the offense can be so prolific that man, if they're 14 17th, whatever in defense, they're going to be really, really good teams. Had you ever gone about, I mean, you know, I know the teams that you've worked for in the past, but that is why I want to bring those two teams up kind of at the same time because

you go like, look, Cincinnati, if this is right and grows healthy, which I know is a huge if. Like I thought that Sunday afternoon was just a nice little reminder of what this guy's capable of in a brutal set of circumstances. Like he's just, I shouldn't maybe frame it that way, but that was a very hard game. You know, that's kind of like what I took from that. I was like, this is a game, whether there's just so many quarterbacks that are going to have three, like they're just going to have a terrible game in here. And he's finding a way. And this is why he's so special. And you go, okay, well, if we have that, can we just be 15th on defense? And then whatever you think of DAC, which I think, you know, I think we've updated this whole thing, but you know, he's going to put up huge numbers. He's nasty. Those receivers are right. You know, I expect more from CD with pickings. I know there's going to be a couple of weeks in there where like is it happening? But he was so good last year. Titus, you two, man. Yeah, Ferguson, I think, you know, there's something to be said of like, if we know we can pencil ourselves in for like 28 to 31 points, like we don't need to hold

everybody under under 24. And do you think that there's teams that are like, hey, we've invested so much in our offense? Let's just try to be average on that side. Well, I think it's almost a play style more than it is. Like, let's try and be average. And that goes back to college. You know, when when the college offense is exploded and people can look at that as whether that was the leech, you know, kind of coming on the scene or whether that was Kiffin and Sarkat SC. And then they kind of spread around the country. But offense just started exploding. And then defense has just became turnover obsessed. Like we can't stop any of this stuff. There's just it's it's impossible. So let's just try and be a little bit more aggressive on our defensive calls and steal a position or two. And then let's spend the vast majority of our time, you know, red zone defense and try and force some field goals instead of touchdowns. Like that kind of felt like the emphasis changed in college football where I used to be, you know, defensive coordinators pride themselves on yards. And then all of a sudden now just pay attention. The next time you hear a defensive coach talk about yards, they never talk about yards. They talk about third down red zone. It's just the way you

have to play now. Do you know who has the number one passer rating in the NFL right now? Not to be our passer rating. A Brock would be my guess. He's been so efficient. It's a very good guess. He's fourth. Okay. Number three is Josh Allen. Number two is actually Jackson, Tar. Passor rating. I always thought was a little funky. Yeah. Like that's weird. And this is where Drew Locke is number one right now. There you go. Maybe it's not weird to you because you seem like a Drew Locke guy. Yeah. He was I pulled up my report on him and I meant all the skill set stuff was there. He was like my 24th player in that draft. And I literally talked about the things that needed to change was he just needs to be, you know, more mature. He's a make, you know, better decisions. Don't be so reckless. It was kind of like a little bit of a, you know, it just need to be rained in. And that's what I've seen through these two games as I've seen. Okay.

He still has the size and the arm strength where he can get pressure and hang on his back foot and get the ball anywhere that he wants to get it. He's a really gifted thrower. He's a good athlete. You know, it's a basketball background. It was a big time hooper. All those things. But it was just it was too much. He was trying to do too much. He'd force balls. He'd be reckless and careless. And I thought in that game against the Patriots, he was better at understanding the assignment than Drake May was in that game, which was we both have really good defenses. This is the type of game that we're in where, you know, field goals and punts are going to be what this game is about and just protect the football and what and we'll try and find our way to the finish line. I thought Drake tried to go beyond that and it bit the Patriots. And I thought that Drew Locke actually showed a lot of maturity in that game to understand what was required. And then it's a great way to start the next one. You go out against the Cardinals and you hit a double move on Buddha Baker. He takes the cheese. It's 82 yards and you're off to the races. But yeah, he's always had that ability. I don't know how many how many more games he'd have to play. I think Sam, you know, it could be coming

back this week next week. He's not going to be as reckless as of this taping now. Yeah. So so he's going to be back soon. But my thing my question is and I don't even have the answer to it is how much more of a sample size would you need to see if you are one of those teams that's in the QB market after this year to say, you know, it will roll with him and give him a year. It is wild that he basically got one year and that's what happens to a second round there, which it's there's just not many second round QBs at all. You just take them earlier, right? And so he's one of those second round cases, which made sense. You know, nobody was like outraged. I mean, like how is Drew Locke still available? You had him 24th overalls. Maybe you were a little surprised. But he gets that one year and it's kind of like an even touchdown interception split like 16, 15 or something. And then he's still with Denver, but like that is, I mean, the sad thing for Denver, although it also proves like whatever you think about getting wrong, like the Russell Wilson trade, the contract, the money, the assets, it's it's in a across the board. F there's no other

grade that you can give that. And then it's like, well, Bo Nick's were healthy. Like they might have been in the Super Bowl last year. So you can get through these disastrous decisions, but it's it's kind of funny. Like they have Drew in the building. They kind of give them that second year. And then that's enough even after that third year to be like, we need to do something different and go grab an established guy and you're like, all right, well, this makes sense. And I look, I give Mike Sandow all the credit in the world because he was just like, this is not they're not trading for us, the Wilson anymore. Like this new version is not in and you know, he was right about that. Speaking of things that are not it, are the chargers just a bad football team? Man, it's been a rough, rough watch. It was when we were doing the game last week, the stat that I was keeping an eye on was it had been since 2007 that they had had consecutive games of 14 or fewer points, which that's what happened here. I mean, this for the chargers organization for the last 20 years, offense has not been a problem. They've been able to score points no matter

who the quarterback, who the coordinator is, whatever it is. They've been offensively able to produce points. And it's just it's too much. The way I described it was, you know, with this system, there's, you know, this system can grow and evolve. And I felt like they were trying to take this system out on the highway the first two weeks of the season. It's like, dude, we got to drive around the neighborhood a few times here. Like let's try and simplify this thing a little bit. And there's a long season where we can build it out. But it was like, we're going to show you every, you know, shift and motion and formation and and personal group. And and we're going to put it all out there at once. And there's too many snaps where Herbert is worried and trying to direct traffic and looking behind him to see where the back is the back offset. Is he behind me? And then all of a sudden to like snap in the ball. I'm like, you've looked at everything except for the defense. Like, you have not had a chance to just set your eyes on what they're doing defensively. Now, there's a there's a swing that he hits to. Amorian Hampton where they're showing blitz off the left side.

It comes and either Hampton is going to stay in and block or you're going to release him while he's released. So there's literally nobody there. But Herbert doesn't get there until he's like he's kind of looking middle looking right and then he's getting hit and then gets it out to Hampton. And it's a good game. But like when you're when you're dialed into what's going on and seeing the field and seeing the picture as soon as that guy comes, Herbert normally is going to see that and just get it right up, laid up over him. And now we're getting a 30 yard gain instead of whatever it ends up being a eight or 10 yard game. So that that to me was just complex doing too much. And then defensively you get a new coordinator and there's just been too many coverage bus and there's no marriage between the Russian coverage. So they're sending extra rushers, but they're playing 15 yards off. And Jacobi Brissette and and Kurt Cousins have been around the block like they're going to see that stuff coming. If you're going to give them outlets and easy answers, that's that's the way they would love to play blitz me and play off coverage. And then I don't have to throw the ball too far down the field. And I've got guys wide open. I know the matchup was tough for all the left

tackle, but I'm just like there's no way this guy isn't good now. I yeah, I wouldn't I wouldn't freak out about that just because I've seen Crosby do that to everybody. And I think the fact that Alts first game was against Crosby and he held up really well against him and it was maybe 12 or 15 101 snaps. And I'm sure Crosby's such a psycho competitor that that's probably aided him. And there was a little extra juice there. I mean, he drew the he drew the three false starts, which you can equate to the presence of Crosby and that's in and Joe's head. You also equate it to the pre snap stuff they've got going on and you've got a rookie center. You know, how much is that factor into him, you know, having those false starts. And then obviously the safety is what it is. I mean, Max just got into his chest and and he just was in a in a horrible position and up just grabbing him and you get a safety. But you know, I don't know on those false starts. If that's just Joe Alts, loss it as a player as much as it is, he's got a lot going on in his head with everything going on. What do you think of New England at Jacksonville? Because you touched on

there a little bit that you didn't seem to like what you've seen from Drake made the first couple weeks. Yeah, I mean, I think getting Trayvon Henderson going a little bit is something that gives me some hope there. But to me with with Drake, I think that so much it was geared in the off season two to get an AJ in there and we never got a chance to see that really take off, you know. So that was, I'm going to give him some slack on that of kind of an adjustment periods. Is there anything to like, hey, Jacksonville's at home, they just went to Denver, like I don't like New England at all in this spot? Well, I think Jacksonville's really good. I think that was a terrible matchup form. Why? Well, I just thought you were catching Denver off of an embarrassing game against Kansas City where they just got beat up and I that physically they're good enough for that shouldn't happen. And I thought you saw a reaction game there and I thought offensively it was the

collective Jalen Waddle and that was no way that was going to happen in this game and they got him going early. I mean, one of the things I pointed out was watching it the previous week as they have some quick some quick hitters designed. So if you think about like a bubble screen or a tunnel screen, there's no read. The ball is going to one player. You know that when you break the huddle and it was pat Bryant. They were spitting the ball out on like a little tunnel screen or bubble screen to pat Bryant. Well, if that if you're going to do that, why is that not Jalen Waddle? Just get some a free touch and then let the guy who's way more dynamic and explosive have the football on his hands and get going. I think you have three targets in the in the chiefs game. You have 10 targets in that one and there's a deep shot where he gets held a little bit no call that could have been another 50 60 yards. There's a deep out to Jalen Waddle that that next missed. He was close to having a 200 yard game in that one and it felt like off of what happened week one, Denver's too smart and too well coach that they were going to make those, you know, those pivots and those adjustments and they knew the importance and not going on too. Yeah, I thought it was the most

impressive like performance of a hey, they look completely different after the half and it was it was pretty clear. It was like you got to start taking some of these 101 shots to bow and whatever that whatever the reluctance was at least the messaging got through to him that it's like if we're finding the man coverage 101 stuff just throw it to our guys over and over again. And they like those matchups. It was nice to see the Rams kind of look like the Rams. So if we stay with Denver and their matchup to kind of start the season here, no Nukuah, granted look, the giants come in, people are a little excited. I know that I was kind of like, there's more on this roster I like. Like this is better personnel than maybe I was thinking about when I was going through previews and studying some of the depth arts your teams here. And then they lose Jackson Dart, which is not surprising, but it's not in the Jackson Dart type play. He just gets crushed. And then even during the game broadcast, there's some weird stuff with that too. I don't know if it was that the giants didn't actually know or whatever. I just don't understand why teams would be telling reporters like, Hey, it's going to be fine. It's like, what is that one hour window where you think you've misled everybody and how that helps you competitively. And then now it's like he could be

out for the entire season, whatever doesn't matter. But the Rams Denver matchup off of the first two weeks, give us some insight. Yeah, I mean, that's first of all, and the dark thing just to go back to that. I'm guessing, you know, they do that ACL test on the knee. And I'm guessing once they did the ACL test and were like, Oh, the ACLs intact, you can, the doctors know that based off of, you know, they don't even need to go to the MRI. Most times they can do that by just a stability test. And I'm guessing what he tore was not the ACL was something else that put him down for the year. So that's my guess on the early optimism that wasn't accurate on the Rams thing. Dude, I was, I told you I was going to give you some 13 personnel nuggets. Ryan, I know that's a lot of you're excited. I learned 13 personnel content. 13 personnel content. If you think he's seeing a lot of tight ends on the field this year, trust me, it's true. So if you go just I'll rip through it real quick. The last 10 years, like, so three tight end, you know, one back three tight ends, 13 personnel. This is the percentage of usage around the league. If you go back 10 years, we'll work back to 4.6 percent, 3.8, 2.6, 3.2, 3.9, 3.0, 4.8, 3.0, 3.4. This year, 7.9.

If you thought last year it was starting to trend up, it's more than doubled. And teams are average in, gosh, I think it's 5.4 yards per play on that. And then if you look at the teams that are doing it more than 15 percent of the time, think about who the off coordinators are and who these guys are and what the reputation is. There's five of them. Cardinals 15.1 percent. Ravens 15.8, bears 17.9, bills 30.6. And the Rams have been in 13 personnel 42.7 percent of the snaps. When they took the Ohio State Kid in the second round after having like Ferguson is their number three tight end. He's not even active. He's their fifth. I got five tight ends on the roster, man. And think about like McVeigh, obviously McVeigh and LaFlore, they're connected. So those are two of the top five. Then you got Ben Johnson and his coordinator, Declan Doyle's with the Ravens. So if I was going to ask you the three, I think everybody would agree, the three top minds in

football right now offensively Kyle, Kyle's in their McVeigh's in their Ben Johnson. Marty Moringway. Exactly. Who did you say? So when you go like if McVeigh's doing this and his group's doing it and Ben Johnson and his group's doing it and then oh by the well, the bills are are humming along as you know an absolute buzz saw they're doing it. Maybe maybe other teams ought to do it. So anyways, what I'm getting at as the Rams are just playing one on one with the Vante Adams and it's going to be Pooca is going to get some of that action as well. And then after they hit you with so much of that 13 personnel, then they spread you out and go empty. They chip with a back in a tight end and now Matthew Stafford's going to survey the whole field and kind of do like the just pick and stick throws. So it's their offense was never going to be an issue. And then defensively they were just a little tighter in coverage and Aaron Donald. I don't know how dude. I don't know how I thought for sure he'd lose a step or he'd get physically kind of tossed around neither of which happened. He was explosive. He was getting knocked back and bowl and he played more snaps and maintained his level of play

which to me is crazy. I don't usually get excited about loyalty programs. They promise big rewards and then it's like you actually have to eat 30 pizzas just to get one free. But here's the thing. The Shell fuel rewards program is actually super practical. You're already getting gas. You're already grabbing takeout. You're already buying snacks. You definitely don't need but absolutely deserve with Shell fuel rewards. You just get rewarded for that and not a fake point you'll never use way. It's actual savings on gas and the saving stack. So it's not like one sad little discount as you fill it up. Eat shop. It all piles up into real savings at the pump. Joining takes less than three minutes in the shell app and you'll save on every fill after that. Literally every single one. Join the Shell fuel rewards program and save. What are the gaming you most excited about for week three? Let me pull up the slate here because I'm I just know the chargers are getting ready to go to Buffalo and that's that's going to be a tough one. Let's see see what we got here. I'm worried about the

batteries and the Dodgers to be honest with you. Good. Yeah. I know terrible. Houston at Indianapolis. Yeah. Indies. I mean, there's like one of the worst defensive performances through two weeks in the history of the NFL. Is that good? That seems kind of troublesome. And you're going to have a feel that you get right spot for Houston. That's for sure. 100%. So that one. Man, the Steelers is going to I'm curious to see it's DK Medcalf for my money has been the most disappointing player two weeks this season. Catch dude. He's like, he's I mean, Aaron looks old and does not look good. But if you factor in just the drops from DK, it's at least respectable. And there was a lot of excitement coming out of camp that he was going to now have a good year. And then he's been just brutal. And their offense is a complete mess. So that's that's an interesting one. Let me see who else we got here.

Well, Philly Chicago is unfortunate now because the Caleb part of it. Yeah. There's a little luster on that one. A little bit. Yeah. By the way, Philly. What do you what's your take on Philly? Because I feel like they're kind of in the perfect spot where they're just going to kind of they're going to win some ugly games kind of feel around find their way. They've already seen two quarterbacks in their divisions go down. And everybody in the NFC West is going to be a battle royale. They're going to just rip each other apart. And it's going to be physical toll that is going to take on those teams. Now we've seen that I thought last year Seattle was kind of battle tested through all that. But there's also the case where you could see, you know, some depletion of your roster just because of how physical those games are going to be. And Philly can kind of just lay under the radar a little bit. Nobody I mean they don't even talk about him Philly. You got they're talking about LeBron and the Philly is going into the playoffs like the Eagles are like third on the list right now. Yeah, that is weird because it feels like they are a little under the radar. Maybe it's because the first two matchups are against a Washington team.

They don't think it's very good. And then I mean, look, they could have lost that Tennessee game. So maybe there's some now they're going to play and now they're going to play the Bears without the court. Like it's just they're going to just you're going to look up and everything and be like, who are the best teams in the league and you're going to ride off the teams and you go, well, what about the seven and one Eagles? You're like the Eagles are seven and one. No, it's like those Atlanta. Well, it isn't anything like that because I would never compare Philadelphia to Atlanta. But there was all these these Falcon seasons I go, how they're seven and four. Yeah, I don't how did that happen? And that's not going to happen because Philadelphia is more on the radar. They're a better football team than some of those real dude. We've got man. Yeah, like some of those NFC South seasons. It was just whoever wanted. I always was like inherently dismissive of them like the AL Central where I would go. All right, cool. You won the division like whatever. I you know, so I think I'd still rather be at least have somebody that's testing me a couple times a season and kind of skating through it. And then you get to kind of the big boy tournament. And you're like, all right, our division's stunk and we kind of ate on like a really good schedule and all that kind of stuff. But I'd say like the Philly, Tennessee

game, if that were a Monday night or a Sunday night or that would have been processed in a entirely different way because you go, okay, what am I supposed to do? Because yes, Philly is overlooked because they've been around and we understand like how this stuff works where I don't think anybody's going to be shocked at Philadelphia is in the Super Bowl. It's just that they've gone through a bunch of different things and we're kind of bored of the whole thing. And so you have this NFC contender with new things that are happening and you're wondering like how Hertz is going to look and it depends on the possession. But I'd say this at least for Hertz is that he had to answer any of the mistakes like he's answered in a big way through these two games when they've needed him to. And maybe that's more important than anything else that's happened in these games even if it's sort of stranger like how did you almost lose to Tennessee? Yeah, but they got the ball. I was in the press box at SoFi and Chargers games getting ready to go and I'm watching I think I had the red zone on my computer and in and money, Matt Monty Smith are played by play guys sitting next to me and he's

keeping track of some of the scores and he's talking about Tennessee. And I'm like, well, if Hertz gets the ball back, they'll just go down and score and win the game. It's what he does. It's what they do. And it was just the Vante Smith just kind of right down the field and they find a way to win games. And I had how we on I think on my first podcast and I'm like, if I had to ask you just Hertz, everybody's he's so nitpicked and so discussed like if you were going to just boil him down like, what's the best attribute that he has? What is the best thing about him? And he's like, he's, you know, it sounds cliché. The guy is a winner. Like when it's the winning moments, he's really, he's really good. And he literally doesn't care about, you know, stats and whatever, whatever the game requires. If he has to play in rain and wind, he's going to not going to throw the ball. He's going to tuck it and run it 14 times. He's going to throw for 80 yards and we're going to win games. But the guy is really good in those big moments. And, you know, there's going to be two or three games where they'll find their cells in a shootout and he'll kind of, you're like, I don't know, he threw for three, three, 40 in this game. Like I didn't know they could even do that.

Why don't they do that all the time? And it's like they just kind of do enough to navigate through games and win games. Yeah, they're really going to throw it down right now. Some of the offensive numbers, you know, but look, it's two weeks in. You could say, hey, lesser opponents. They played with 10 guys week one. I mean, Lennon Dickerson was should not have been on the field. Like he's, and he even self admittedly was like that was embarrassing. Like that was terrible. I'm not healthy. He goes on IR after the game. I think that was, I almost excuse whatever happened in that game. I think Orkley had 85 yards. I don't even know how he got 85 yards in that game. They're playing with four offensive linemen. Yeah, that was, that was something that was definitely talked about. I mean, it was, I think it was like the first thing Nate Tyson when we hit on Philadelphia. He was like, okay, well, Lennon Dickerson, like, I don't know what's going on. Yeah, I'm there. Yeah. So it was evident when you watch it. It was like, oh, okay. So you brought up DK McCaff. I don't know if you caught Bruce Feldman's stuff before the season started where he was going through like, hey, who's a title contender? Who's a surprise,

right? Who should win the Heisman this year? Who is? Who should be the most paid non-quarterback in college football, right? And so the answers were Jeremiah Smith. Now, Greg, he's talking to all of these coaches from all over the country. And in particular, one anonymous Big Ten coach said, it's not Jeremiah Smith. I'm paraphrasing here, but I'm going to give you what it is. He was like, all you have to do is like play somebody over the top and he's DK McCaff. And I was like, this is wild because this is somebody who was an actual defensive coach in the Big Ten that's watched Jeremiah Smith now for two seasons. And it's comparing him to DK McCaff, who, by the way, and I think you were part of this group too, like people were looking at DK going, how is this guy not like a top 15 pick? You're like, because the tape that he had was was very go. It was a strain line. He was not even close to being a polished route guy. So in a way, like DK's career is impressive. It's a credit to him, even if he's been so bad this year, as you've explained earlier,

I can't fathom working, imagine like working in football professionally at that level and watching Jeremiah Smith and then comparing him to DK McCaff. Yeah, I'll tell you what's emboldened him on that though is he's seen Marvin Harrison Jr. And where he was picked in the expectation and him not do well, come out of that same program. And he's he's that's what's giving him the courage to make a statement like that. They're told it has nothing to do with it. It has has nothing like if you want to go big Ohio State like all of these numbers and all of that stuff, you're like, we want to do the Ohio State thing. So because Marvin Harrison Jr. has been a disaster that somehow that like there's stuff that happens. Remember the Big Ten running back thing that was going on? You were probably working in the league. And there's a long time coming running back. We're just like, this is dud after dud after dud. And then Larry Johnson gets to the league and you're like, all right, like I guess we're back now. So I hate any of that stuff. Feel free to call it back before my home's. Remember that was like that was a thing. Yeah, that wouldn't seem to be kind of accurate. It got me.

I was like, I got caught on that one. Screens and scrambles, man. It was all screens and scrambles. And then and it turns out he's pretty good. Oh, with Patrick. Oh, yeah, I thought you meant. I thought you meant on like somebody that you had brought in when you were working in the NFL. No, no, no, no, no, but I mean, you got drafted. You get the air raid guys in your resume that you drafted. No, I don't think so. No, it's got all the pros that Derek Anderson. We didn't draft many quarterbacks where I was that's true. I drafted before I got to before I got to the Baltimore Breed Queen got drafted before I got to Cleveland. So I honestly, I think it was Derek Anderson. And then maybe one more like late, late round, like Derek Anderson. Yeah, he made a proble six round looks at what's the win. No one makes the proble. So that's what I do. But go back, go back to the DK thing. He's not DK. I go back and pulled up my notes and you referenced it. DK ran three routes. It was goes slants go furthers and posts like that was it. It was slant post go like he never

had to hit the brakes. If you had to hit the brakes, it was not good. He couldn't drop his weight. He was a locomotive big, extremely big stiff and fast. And he could, you know, so those were the things and I he was like my 18th player and he had the neck and that's why he fell into the second round. But I was like, look, don't ask him to do the other stuff. He can do enough damage with these few routes and be a productive effective player. But Jeremiah Smith can drop his weight. He can he knows how to he's got polish. He knows how to set guys up. He's got more juice getting when he has to stop and start like even simple stuff like that. And now he's he's a freak. But the Marvin thing is weird by the way. That's a weird one. Eddie guesses. I can't believe it. I mean, even as a rookie here, he was solid. There was some stuff in there, right? Yeah. Yeah. You could find some good in there. Now he looks so sluggish, disinterested. No urgency. Can't get away from anybody. The effort has not been good. We were talking about this the other day. If you looked at

the four whiteouts that were on that team. So based off like draft grades, it would have been mine. If I'm looking at myself, would have had like Marvin one would have been Garrett Wilson to a lave three, JS and four. It's completely the opposite. JS and clearly the one, a lave the two in a discussion with Garrett Wilson. But you probably go a lave Garrett would be three. And then a huge gap. And then Marvin would be four. Would you trade for him if they if you were running a team and you said, you know, this is like this is Philly. This is I'm imagine he's from Philly, right? His dad was from Philadelphia. Like this is the classic. I'm not familiar to get him. Father and Philadelphia. I think is I think that he could kind of get a chance to resurrect his career out there. So I left. Okay. So if you were if if you're how we and they call and say, hey, give us a second router for him. No, I don't think you get this. You're not going to get basically what he's looked like. Yeah. I mean, I to me, you're talking about like a four that turns into a

three with some decent production. Okay. It's crazy for a guy. You took that high, you know. But he's like, I just saw him. I just prepared for their game and you're watching the Cardinals game. And he's like the fifth option on that offense. It's not even if they throw him one go ball. That was it. You just wish if you were coach, like, hey, do you hate this? Could you just tell me? Yeah. If you don't like football, that's yeah, move on. Yeah. Yeah. Just let me I know you're not supposed to say you don't have fun out here and you hate it. But you'd be doing me a huge favor and our quarterback, like just tell me like we'll get you in 10 routes. But like we'll just let you co-be know that you're just not super interested in catching this stuff right now. Let's do a little college here. I went a little later than I thought I was going to go. So if you have the time. Yeah, let's go. What kind of conversations you think you're going to be having about Trinidad Chambers around draft time next year? I mean, I've already had some conversations around the league

about him. I don't know guys who don't like him. I haven't heard, you know, I haven't heard the negative side of it. The age is going to be where the people are going to bang him on. He's just under six feet. But that's, you know, doesn't bother people as much anymore. I think the fact that he's believes got big hands. He's got a thick lower body. Like he's, you know, he's closer to 220 pounds and he has 200 pounds. So he's kind of got like a baker, Russell Wilson build to him. And he's got elite, the elite arm talent to make every type of, you know, layered throw drive the ball. On schedule, he's done things off schedule. He's got some magic to him. So and then everything about him and then some of this probably comes with the age and his journey that he's traveled. But everything you hear is like he's mature. He's an adult, you know, all those things that maybe derail some guys. He doesn't have any of those concerns. So, you know, sample size. He's going to have plenty more games and big stages against really good defenses to, you know, the show what he can do there. So I said over the summer, he's my, he was my favorite player to watch

over the summer. I'd say he's like the number one pick in the draft. And I'm like, he was just the most fun tape to watch was his tape with what he was doing. And I think it could translate. I was getting asked in the lead up to the season. Is there any way this guy could be a first round pick? And I'm like, yeah, look at the guys that have gone in the in the first round of thousand percent. He can be a first round pick. Now it's just a matter of, you know, where he kind of slots in. Is Camarillo Taylor better than any of the quarterbacks that can be drafted? He's a freak man. Like that's one of those ones. He's a sophomore. So we'll, you know, second year player. We'll see him in the next year's draft. But I was thinking two things. Number one, there's very few guys where it just looks different. Like the way the ball comes out. And I think it's a trajectory thing, whether it's a 20 yard throw or a 60 yard throw, the ball trajectory wise doesn't really have to change. Like it's just he has got so much rotation on the ball. It is spinning so fast. Looks like he came out of a jugs machine. And it does not have to, he can throw

just firm balls all over the field. It, man, I don't even want to do this because I don't want to put this name on him because people will just say that you're killing him. But it reminds me of when Jamarkis threw a football. Like for all the reasons it didn't work out for Jamarkis Russell and their numerous watching him throw a football was an experience at LSU. Like that looks different. It just looks, it looks, it looks like is that a regulation football? Like that's you're literally watching it. Am I watching this on 1.25 or is this like that doesn't, that doesn't compute when you're watching video all the time? Who's your favorite player, non-quarterback? Charlie Becker probably be up there for me. No way. He's fun to watch, man. He's got a lot of tools in his bag. Like he is big. He's got a second gear when the ball goes up. He's got like a track background, they're fertile background. So he's got legit, you know, real track speed. But he tempos routes. He understands how to set guys up. He's efficient,

you know, getting in and out of breaks. And then his ball skills and his ability to adjust and contort his body down the field. He's got incredible, incredible adjustment skills. So I watch in the Raiders the other day and I'm sitting there thinking, you know, I don't know how many games they're going to win. They're off to a 2-0 start. But that would be awfully tempting, looking at what that team needs. And if you're picking up there in the top 10, I would love to reunite him with his quarterback. What do you got to let him more the other day? Those are, you know, he's one of those guys that you don't see a lot of when you see like the body type and skill set of Pat Surtan, you see, you know, Gonzalez was like that coming out of Oregon. He wasn't quite as polished as Surtan was. But those, you know, stingly, you know, as a bigger corner, there's just rare guys that are that big in like 200 pound corners, they're 6162 that have that fluidity and they just move so easy and it's hard to find those guys.

I mean, he's exceptional. And to me, he's someone you can kind of build your whole coverage plan around. You can just set it and forget it. Just leave him over there and let him go. How many of these guys like are you already starting to look at like a Dante more and go? Yeah. Maybe not a first round like when he went from number one overall pick. I don't know what the arch tape sets because I'd say the first half against Ohio State, the tape would be terrible. And I think the second half, as we know, the comeback was incredible. But I think there's so much stuff in that first half. I'm like, what is this? Yeah, I would say let's start with Dante. I think Dante's kind of, he's been consistent in the good and the bad through two weeks, where the things that you like, he is, he's a gifted passer. Like he's someone who can, you know, take whatever's required of a throw. So if it's an up and down throw in the middle of the field, he's got the touch to be able to do that. He's got enough arm strength when he's to drive it out to perimeter. He can do that. I like the trajectory and loft he puts on his deep ball. It's

pretty ball. His issue is very simple. It's the same. It's been that way through two games. I questioned it a little bit last year and it's really crystallized this year, which is can you beat a free rusher? It was the same question we had on Stroud until the Georgia game at the end of his college career. But when space is condensed, he can't get away. He doesn't have, he just lacks kind of that short area of quickness. And that's not to say you got to take off and run for 50 yards. Can you sidestep a guy? Can you create it all? Like it's just on platform. He's been good or even kind of on some design movement. But it's just the game is so much more condensed in the NFL. And you're going to have those three to four plays a game where you're going to have to be able to just maneuver around the free guy. He has not been able to do it. And it's not like they're playing, you know, the elite elite of the big 10. So that's a major concern for me. And like I said, it was a Stroud thing as well. And then he showed in that one game like, okay, I don't know why, but he's had, he just has not shown this ability until now, but at least I've seen him do it. I have yet to see him do that. So that would be my major concern with him. And then on Arch, Arch has

traits out the wazoo, like just with the size and the arm strength, the ability to run. I just think to me when I watch him, he gets better in games than more he plays. And I think you're going to see him get better in the season the more he plays. He needs to play like the stuff that that doesn't look right to your eyes. To me is just seeing, you know, playing more ball, getting more experience and seeing it. But he's got a huge arm. And he's been, he's stepped up to some big moments that they've had early on, which I like to see. But some of it is just, okay, he just, he needs to see this trap coverage where they're trying to debate him and things like that. I think he just plays more. I think you'll eliminate some of that stuff. All right. Nice little primer there for 20. A quarterback primer. Yeah. I appreciate that. That is Dan O'Zero Maya. No. Not in the anchor voice either. In the Hizzi. You know who knows you can start something here. Bring it back. All right. You guys got anything? Nothing.

Finish my golf league last night. I got something but I finished my golf league. I think I am second to last place which was really important to me. Really stressful round but I mean autumn golf is just amazing by the way. This is my first time really deal with that really really the best and then it really is. Then guys are like it's autumn rules and it's like you're just taking gallery drops and you know for a guy like me that's huge. So get 10 strokes. Yeah. Let's go. Yeah. Great lie. Thank you. Saruti seemed to tease it. Something. Yeah. Do we want to talk about your budding social media selfie video situation? Do I just address it? The Gitmo. There appears to be nothing that I do that has to do with my face or body that is not judged. I mean I know that primarily sex has been a main theme on why the show is done so I get it. You know when tape

McCray adds five pounds she's going to get heat and when I have a bad angle because expectation is that I'm going to look so good all the time and it doesn't look as good I totally get it. But I don't understand the confusion on these racist videos. I mean people are going deep like really well if they think I'm about to go on like suicide watch and I'm like it's Halloween is around the corner we wanted to make the video spooky. I was going to say the lighting was a choice. I did it too. You guys are on the all day and said we need the racist video and I said if we need it today don't worry because I thought I was going to go to the Rams game and then I didn't go to the Rams game which I know is shocking and and then we did it later at night and people are losing their fucking minds. But the crazy thing is that the racist video at night is within a week of the beach video which is a completely different setting same person. So I don't I don't know what to do about it. You're just too dynamic. Not. Yeah. You know what I should do about it which is what I talked about with Sri Lassana is like I don't care. I do not care

why I'm used to it whether it's the Utah cashmere number or it's the legends stare down. We're just going to keep pumping out the content. I was going through one first off engagement race probably got to be through the roof. So, Reese's should be very well pumped. Yeah. Sorry. Reese's has pretend to work. Yeah. Right. So maybe you know just big brain activity right there. What was I going to say? Oh the other thing was I was like looking through I hit up Tom one of our producers because I was looking for the pictures that you took. Yeah. Super bowl last year. Oh boy. Oh yeah. Maybe we'll like look through these see if we could update some stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And those are the funniest pictures I've ever I like we should just we should just post them like they are so funny. There's like I think I found like one or two that I think are like okay. I mean first off you're just doing the arms across like big arms move basically 90% of the pictures. But not what Laurent Landry

though you know like I'm not putting the hand the back behind the bicep to try to make it real or not real. It's just like you got one you had one move basically that was it and there's like 20 there's like probably 25 pictures and there's it's pretty much the same face the same arm situation and slightly different slightly different I wouldn't even call it a smile. It's more of just like a look that you kind of give. So we love some so we love these pictures. I haven't seen them. The attachment wouldn't open. I said you the best the one I thought was the best one. I thought the picture was fine. But then we saw the Netflix like I didn't even realize. I mean this is sort of a strange story. That's just someone from someone from my past hit me up was like were you it do you look like this now? What's going on? And I had never seen it and I looked at it and went yeah I don't think I looked like that but I have I don't give up I don't give up on a lot of things I've given up on this. It's just what it is we're pumping out the content and you just can't

you can't worry about it you know. Yeah I think that's the way to do it and I mean the reason that we had that initially too is because you hadn't really taken professional photographs and like I think the last one I had was from like we're Sillo and Kennell and you know and then before that's like when you add hair so like we can't really you couldn't really use anything so we just got really get a draw what's going to get a red roll back. We could that would put people on their toes a little bit but so we didn't even have a picture so like oh yeah we'll do like a you know a rendering of sorts and that's how if you at one point had hair white is there's another punishment that comes with this that I can't have myself representative of maybe that's the move. I've got a picture from oh one where you'd be like dude you look hot. I want you to send that one in a group chat I mean I'm sending everything. How about if I just from now on if I go on cowherd show I go on Dan Patrick show I use a head shop from 2001 that would be very funny that would be I think that's what we're gonna start doing and I'm brand to start using lettuce pictures I do

have a buddy who does the same thing like dude I had sick hair I was like cool man. Yeah I don't take that away from you knowing I like that from it. Yeah thank you Kyle like is it if is it like so now you're telling me something that I used to be I can't even claim that. No I'm not saying I'm not saying yeah I don't want I don't want that out there in the universe. It's not like it's a dating profile. No you know here's what I looked like at it at just different time. Yeah nobody has a beard. They're back they're black book I don't think that's that's still who you were as well you know. Fair. That's a great that kind of had a great time back like day. So anyway broke the internet so good. It's fun. All right let's go with a 98 right down the middle. Jim's dad's 20 years old 6.3 out we've got a euro on our hands 80 kilos. Torn my rotator cuff in the gym a year ago so I haven't able to hit upper body but it could bench 80 for 10 reps for that which I believe is 175 the imperial system. I have known most of my mates since kindergarten and we

all grew up going to the same school and playing in the same soccer teams as a result of this our parents are also friends were two years out of high school and have all gone to university he lets us know that that's college in parentheses or gotten full-time jobs one of our mates has worked the past two years as a teacher aid for a local primary that's elementary school. A few months ago he brought a look at guys thorough yeah yeah doing in kilograms the imperial this guy's on it the kilograms is helpful the rest I got six comma three is not cool six dash three telling you that right now it's no way that's not the that's not the yank in me a few months ago he brought up the fact that he likes one of the other teacher aids he works with she is 35 years old and has three children who go to the school he works at he has since started dating her and has told us he loves her we have gently been trying to give him a reality check that this relationship will either go nowhere or he will end up being responsible responsible for providing for three kids that

aren't hers wait well I think he meant to say that aren't his yeah right she also told them he doesn't want anymore kids so he would never have kids of his own he says that isn't a problem to him but it feels like a big decision to make at this age he is also a friend who you never see again once he's in a relationship he's only told about four mates about the relationship and that hasn't even told his parents who he lives with we know their reaction will not be great as they are heavily religious what are we doing this situation try to talk them out of it let it run its course are we crazy for not wanting to date woman 15 years older than him with three kids this will shake you up you know 20 this is a wild one so you guys you guys are rattled right now which I totally get yeah I've got a bunch of different avenues into this I had something going on where you know somebody that was really close to me was dating somebody that's older than you know older than me and that that's about it was like about a 15 year gap I worked in the schools I don't

know what's in the water in those schools people are horny in those schools I'm telling you it's the it's the the grounds keeper and the lunch staff and teachers and you know administrative and it's like a people find out about this shit it's not a big secret once I like got into the back into that world working there getting a paycheck who was like man you guys how do you guys they so buttoned up the stories I'm hearing so I mean that that was bound to happen whoever it was you know whoever you chose it was gonna be someone but I think he's 20 they're 20 right this is some 20 year old shit man I don't know tell you like let him let him like actually come face to face with these problems that you're you know it seems like you're a guy who plans ahead for yourself and others because you're you're saying all these things like and he's the kind of guy that gets a girlfriend and we never see him again in what about the kids and she doesn't want kids that's like thinking pretty far ahead for a 20 year old I'd say just let him hit a couple you know let him go down this bumpy path and and I bet you he will because he's 20 he will probably bail pretty soon right that's my thoughts the likelihood that this like actually is a thing long term is pretty low so the

getting involved like you could address it and say whatever say your piece on things but I don't think it's gonna like I wouldn't make anything different if anything it might make him be more defiant and I told you so it's almost as good as I mean I didn't want to say anything don't even say anything it's over yeah when it's over you'd be like man I was thinking this all time I got some questions about her too like what why she what three kids in a 20 year old like that seems okay hey school decisions are made school system something goes on there but I would do a lot of people do anything you know what I mean I mean it makes sense maybe this guy's good looking maybe he's got a way about him good with a lot of kids quick with a no you think she's just a loser and those of his parents is 20 I don't know I just don't know that like dude how much a flat costs and Liverpool don't or she said now I don't I would be surprised by that I feel like I don't know like is he just doing this for attention like I don't like is he what I would be interested like what is he never was looking up or you know what I mean and now this this woman is rocking

his world but the the thing is because all you guys are 20 years old you know like I can't believe I'm trying to think of an English name but whatever I can't come over there um gareth that's a good one limbs another good one uh Joseph that was a weird one Liam let's go with Liam so this is kind of like a Liam stole a car when he's 14 right like when's when's the age when somebody who takes out a parent's car and goes for a joy ride with a couple of his mates like 13 is like oh my god 14 you're like okay 15 it almost makes a little bit of sense right so 20 you're two years out of high school you're kind of doing your own thing here and yeah it's a bad idea and yeah his parents would not approve and yeah to shut it down like I'm out of the I'm out of the old reproduce in game you know she's done 20 so I'm out at 20 like yeah you're right none of it makes any sense but it's also probably rattling you a little

bit more because of your age and this is like the first kind of group that's doing something that's this outrageous to you so you think it needs to be addressed you think you have to have fucking meetings interventions about the whole thing and it's like you know what man I'm gonna tell you right now odds are this thing is gonna play out exactly how everyone is talking about it right now with us everyone that's listening to it don't worry there is an expiration date and then you can laugh about it as the great mates that you are in the future that is a good point I feel like younger me as a friend just cared about way more things that my buddies were doing yeah why it is a really freeing thing like later in life to be like oh dude you want to you want to buy a time share in Daytona tell you have brother like happy for you co-work south or like younger me be like what an idiot like we have to have an intervention you're just like eh go for like knock yourself out dude so there is a there is definitely an age element to this where I would be bothered as a female is right I would probably be bothered in that situation about them yeah every little event back then seem massive you know what I mean and just a blip I mean think how absurd it is

to be 15 or 16 I mean you look I can throw a 25 on it for me if you want like think anyone should be fucking listening to you as a guy hey dude we mean it to talk to you about this but you don't know how to tie your shoes yet still like no kind least that this one out yeah we've been talking about Lucy nicotine pouches it's the industry's longest lasting flavor nicotine meat technology nicotine Lucy meet our friend nephew Kyle who's been raving about his experience with Lucy pouches because you know he had a golf league he was in a league the pressure got intense he couldn't always fire a dart while he was in the cart and he thrown a pouch and you know what that led him to a second the last place finish which you could say is us being negative about our guy but we're proud of our guy he's proud of himself that he didn't come in last because look Lucy helped

him get there most pouches hit hard fade fast call it a Lucy pouches are formulated with an optimized absorption curve that delivers nicotine more gradually and for a longer lasting experience that's general around your mouth throat and stomach Lucy is the only pouch that delivers long lasting on demand flavor get 20% off your first order when you buy online at lucy.co 4 slash Ryan with code Ryan and here comes the fine print warning this product contains nicotine nicotine is an addictive chemical all right this is a longer one no that's too bad only child do I morally need to have a kid 5 8 165 72 inch wingspan well guys it's a nice nice sort of a relationship there between height and wingspan lifetime fitness bench 135 for 12 30 minute session three four times a week on the pellet time we don't need to do all of this but I'm gonna read it I just don't want more people doing it um so he doesn't want me to give out his location

uh but it is relevant all right comp avery Bradley defensive minded undersized combo card I hope you're all doing well I turned 30 a couple weeks ago and I can't get this out of my head I'm an only child that my dad has one sister on my dad's side I'm the last in the family tree so if I don't produce an error the last name dies with me I like the way this guy's thinking it's totally true though he don't think I'm worried about it me too I get to be very else well you guys you got guys that can step up right right I don't my brother has a daughter he's done oh wow you know I mean it's not looking good okay for the oscillos but there be some things like super egotistical about it where I fly we're just a ego maniac I'd be like it ends with me what's cooler than that but yeah that maybe just I'd be last for silo you can just Elon Musk just put an ad out right be like you know procreation needed I don't think I'd want to do that now you know that's my name

well I think I thought we're gonna do the air thing I'd want to maybe play fucking catch couple times so um sure but if this were medieval times you don't think that I'd be at this stage and be like get this guy out of the village right we're done with you what's what's this deal yeah mountain man be trapping levers or something up there just a little wizard going on to ham and sham all right uh a little background on me live in a pretty upscale area high cost of living clean neighborhood smooth roads smooth roads we're right that's awesome when you get on a patch of smooth after some bullshit you're like oh man this is a wealthy road wow this guy's roads it's like I don't really like him that much but his fucking roads are so sweet lines are clear bright yeah but one of the things about this whole process of reading the emails there are clues there are clues about the way your brain works that I figure out and there are ways

about the people you're talking about with some of the things that you emphasize don't emphasize at all de-emphasize if you will all right so we've got a smooth road bought a house two stories for a bedroom pool a couple years ago I do have a solid 401k good health benefits but I wouldn't consider myself rich by any means roads with different stories but we'll stay with you yeah I do all right for myself but where I live uh in the dating pool I'd say these traits are pretty average at best now physically I'm obviously not the biggest catch on a good day a couple pairs of socks but be able to gymnastics myself up to five ten yeah the pillow stretch and I'm trying to get back myself you're probably wondering what my dating history is like so I'll start there I was in a long relationship my senior year of high school that lasted roughly five years it didn't end on great terms granted we were both young and both would probably admit we didn't handle the best area that's a tough one too high school into college and then or whatever is going that's a tough phase to lock those in do not judge yourself don't be hard in yourself all right

however since that ended I have truly enjoyed doing what I want to do one of my favorite things of the world is sitting on the couch every Saturday and Sunday during football season and just simply not moving I even love getting off work on Wednesday at five and going to play nine holes by myself at a local muning I do not it's not like I don't have a social life I do I go to bars hang out with friends go to sporting events but it's always on my terms if I don't want to do something if I don't want to go do something then I just don't to be honest it's not like I'm doing well for myself when I go out I get lucky sometimes he parentheses five eight again and I've tried dating I've been to two relationships since then that initial one but they haven't lasted past two months mostly because they will say something along the lines of we should go to the farmers market this weekend which is a clear-eck and ultimately leads me to break things off all right dude you're never gonna have ludes and to say goodbye to your family name yeah I think I understand farmers markets are great there's always a curl that out here I got this

just put that aside dude there you can sell weed at farmers markets now New York just pass the thing in August only small pieces though only small pieces hell yeah good to know fighting against the man I'm just saying farmers markets it's you know they're constantly you know pushing the limits of what a farmers market can do yeah yeah we started an anti-weed experience the other day it was walking to the equinox parking lot and I it just was raging these guys that was the pre workout like they're like we don't need nitrous oxide we're just gonna rip a J here and I walked through and it was like I stunk like weed and I could smell it and I'm not saying like but I don't want that I didn't want that before I was about to struggle with my bench which you didn't when you start sweating too you know what I mean weed or tobacco it just starts coming out of you and you're like dude this is the worst I've smelled it a while so I don't know why anybody does that but a note to my man backing up series point on the farmers market I too just went to the farmers market yesterday I'm thinking of pivoting into bringing my own bag to the farmers market I'm

serious that might be the next move because something happened with the juices yesterday I almost lost a mint pine apple juice that cost me 16 bucks in glass but he couldn't give me plastic because he's only let it do paper but then it's supposed to be small gold it's complete fucking disaster but we saved it it was fine if you're 30 and you want to have a family and you're already like I'm too cool for the farmers market like I might have said that when I was 25 and you know what maybe I would have said it by 30 but listen to me farmers markets are great where are you gonna do better for your produce and your supporting small businesses sometimes even female owned female owned what she wants to do could be you should be happy if that's par for the week right for her all the stuff that sucks that's easy to do you know grab yourself a juice and a fucking peach a white peach or a mire's lemon bring it back to the house later on crushing it some ice water I'm trying to talk right try to talk my wife out of a garlic festival an hour away from me this weekend like I

will go to the Pekybsi farmers market and a fucking flash dude yeah a garlic festival think about what Kyle has to do that sucks so I'm not totally committed I'm still working on it's Wednesday but I don't know I'll let you know by by a Thursday I think if I've sealed the deal I would like a full report because it's like I'm thinking to go can I just tell you what my argument is like from the know what I'm sure that garlic infused oil is going to be amazing probably some great garlic but then we're going to get into the try my garlic lemonade my garlic ice cream like this is like 70% of it is going to be like don't need that at all and it's like I'll be over the shit in 25 minutes and it's going to be a two hour round trip so that's I think I'm actually gaining a little ground with this argument garlic legos right exactly there's going to be so much no useless novelty you know for a full whole festival you know come on that seems to be a very specific lane Kyle I'm on your side but I still hope you go okay all right so back to our guys you can

tell I'm pretty picky yeah we all right so maybe that's a me issue but I've always said that I'm open of marriage but it has to be the right person I think that makes sense the last thing I would want is being a relationship get married and have half my assets get taken a divorce so you're right now that mindset will keep you single for quite a while hand up people to her like I'm open to marriage but it doesn't have to be the right person just anybody like like okay thanks guy yeah all right with the area I live in cheating is a very real thing and he is right about that also I wouldn't want to stay at home wife with the area I live in most women just want to get married and stay at home I'm a career guy so I'd like her to have a career too but also with my measurables can I afford to be picky sky is really honest about what 5 8 brings to the table more or I'm not sure it's right for me to end the family tree because I care too much about the things I want to do I do all right financially but I can't just adopt a kid right that would be strange maybe for you maybe not for a big you're allowed I forget I'm young enough I've got to

get the change the name that true all right maybe I didn't want to say that one I just mean like that's like a brand new baby it's like could do you have any young ones that are not that into like a vague like a Smith or Johnson want something maybe stand out all right that just was poor delivery but now I have to be a little too set this way to fill in the farmer's market yeah all right I've got a couple friends women that I know that haven't had the best luck and are still available should I just lay this out to them and be like hey you're getting older I'm getting older this isn't about us but we should give this thing a shot well if that doesn't scream true love on an Instagram post I'm sorry I don't believe this is fake there's too many red flags here do you or maybe another solution is getting a dog as a test run and seeing if that changes my way of thinking I'm going to bit of a pickle morally and would love to hear from y'all sorry if this was

long it's just a lot going on in here which I think kind of gets to our original point is you may need a bit of a reset on the like what is it that you want and you admitted that you're being picky you're in a high density area right now for women but it's a little wild where you're at and maybe that's part of the problem that it's a little too wild a little too show off you little too real house-wise and maybe that's messing you up you know maybe you need to get back to some midwestern roots even if you don't have roots there like hey this is this is a little different speed I don't I don't read that email honestly sorority I don't know what he wants I mean I think I do but I'm not sure if he even wants anything other than is it bad if my last name ends and then it's a bunch of like very specific things that I think would make it harder to find that person yeah clearly he doesn't want to do any of these things he just is worried about the name thing so I would say I would say if all of the signs that you gave us are you should not pursue that and the name should just end you know that's it I don't think I don't think like you don't like if you want to

sit in the couch all day sat or you don't like farmers markets you're talking to like you know about these two friends you have who are still available and just for convening let's figure it out I just just keep living your life I don't I don't think the name thing is going to be a problem for you yeah for dad's not bothering you about it you know I guess it's fine I don't it doesn't sound like there's too many things like the fact it was like the breakups past two months because they're talking about farmers markets or whatever you know that was probably like probably other things like that that he just doesn't want to do and you want to be left alone on the weekends and you want your wife to have a job but also I don't know take care of the family and like it's a very I think you might have to move itself dude I don't know I don't know where you're you maybe try moving just try you know new new pool with you know women that maybe he's not ready yet but he's like he's like 16 a 16 year old stream right and like so you're gonna you're gonna do that into your like 40s and 50s and like I'm telling you I'm not trying to lay it down crazy here but like that that might get old you know there might be a time when you regret this just think about that

pretty he's only 30 and it's a great point for you like I would say to this guy just go through whatever you're going through here and then maybe at 35 it'll kick in dude to plant 30 75 to do like there's guys out there with old dads well you can know you split not for that guy it's probably no that's not cool I'm just saying people say it's in me all the time they're like well Pacino just had another one I go what the fuck right what do you think is the oldest you would allow yourself to be when your kids in high school tell that dog to stop making all that noise it gets 72 old if the guy if your kids like graduating high school it's older than you want but like I don't know I went to school the guy whose dad was like 72 and it was just like yeah you know dad was still out there but 72 still like with it you know 70 was with it yes you are but you are like there's a line somewhere you know I'm trying to think add I'll be what 50 no what do I be 37 now yeah I'll be like in my early 50s yeah that's that's pretty awesome yeah that's pretty good

that's kind of the dream I'll take that um but I feel like now I mean I guess if you're like famous it's different like you can just like you just kind of look younger in your court like just trying to fall but like if you're a normal dude yeah I got no I mean thank you but that'll do it for the show today thanks to Steve thanks to Kyle thanks to Kevin all of our episodes available on Netflix the ride resolution are still sports
