2:04debut, but first in season interview with Marshall Cramsey. Let's get right to that and the Commanders offense. All right, Marshall, so we're out here in beautiful Watford England, almost a Watford London, because London's not a country, so that would make sense. But Watford, England? American showing. Yeah, my American is definitely showing. Team Facility for the week, beautiful garden setting out here. What do you think the game on Sunday is going to be as beautiful as the setting we're standing on right now? I don't think anything about a London game is ever beautiful, right? Like, whatever reason, I always get a little mucky over here, and I don't like to say in that because it gets cloudy. Like, the game, I always feel like just aren't that clean, and that's not a commander's thing. It's just going across the pond thing, I feel like. But I do think the commanders are coming back to the States, too, and too. I really feel that way. Yeah, I'm with you. I'm with you on that, actually. So we've got some predictions that we're going to get over a later on. Our cameraman, your cameraman, David Aguadelo, is going to join the show here in a little bit, do some over-unders and some score-producing. That'll be some personality. Yeah, absolutely. I'm excited. I'm excited. David Aguadelo's locked on commander's debut, and it's been long overdue. Let's talk offense. Let's talk offense.

3:04What are we start? We're, uh, Jaden Daniels. Yeah. Jaden Daniels. What about him, huh? He's back. On the practice field. Yeah. I don't think it matters who's that quarterback this week. I think they win either way. I agree with you. I think they win either way this week in next week, no matter who's playing for them. I got to see with the health of this team, I got to see how they come out of this week. That's fair. We'll get to John's course next week. So let's say focus here on this game. Chigga Conquo coming back. Mm-hmm. How big is that going to be for this game? I think it's monstrous. I mentioned to you yesterday when we were talking the tight ends on this team have eight receptions this season through three games, and two of them have been by the injured Chigga Conquo. So he has 25% of the teams receptions at tight end, and the other point that I think is so important to make. Go back to that Philadelphia Eagles game. Week one, down by two, two point conversion attempt, and they go to a tight end. David Blow, the commander's offensive coordinator wants to use the tight end. They do not have a pass catching tight end outside of Chigga Conquo. They don't have someone that you could rely on who's really like that receiver end that we've seen the NFL come so close.

4:05He's just a gap. So they went out and got Chigga Conquo. I think in large part to fit into David Blow's offense. So we haven't seen him yet. They need help on third down. So I think someone to open up the offense and we saw Terry McCorme break out last week. We've seen stuff on day. The other week, imagine you have a third guy out there that teams have to respect because right now the defenses do not have to respect the tight end position for the commanders as a pass catching. But the Conquo, they at least have to respect it and if they don't, great. Let's show. Let's see why they paid you. And remember that line about the rest of the tight end room because I promise you that's going to come up in February, March, in April of 2027 on Monk's on Committers. So make sure you make a mental note of that comment because I wholeheartedly agree. Conquo on the field helps third down, but also helps first down helps second down. And we heard Marcus Marios specifically talk about it like getting into those better third down situations will help the team just keep the drives alive. And then something I think a lot of people are actually missing is the washmakers have out time to repeat out time possession. Every single team this season, they've also out snapped every single team this season now. Seahawks, it was like 56 to 55.

5:05But the other two games is like 15 snaps, 20 snaps, advantage. So even with some of the struggles the commanders have had getting into these down in distance situations that are admirable or preferred, they've actually still had done a really good job controlling the ball. So getting chick back would absolutely be a boondah that are getting chick back will be a boondah that so let's talk about Bill now. It's great. So you're going to be asking me right one of the great points you made on the beat down podcast a little bit of shameless plug, but also hoping the commanders out there. I think she goes in an episode is that he has been how did you put it like a shoelace away on the show. Yeah, he has been a shoelace away from breaking one. We saw the penalty where he came back last week. He would have been what a 40 yard touchdown runner to the one yard line. And I've even asked him about that because we've seen him on like a seven yard run, a 10 yard run where he's like, this close. He's a cut away. He's a fingernail that someone just gotten his cleat that tripped him up. That's one of those are going to break that at this point like I don't use the word luck a lot in sports, but like that is it goes one way one time another way the other time. And he has the balance he put on the strength. He's going to break one and when he breaks one, I think it's going to come in bunches.

6:08And I think he's that close and we're seeing and I know I brought this up also the difference between establishing the run and making defenses respect the run. I think the commanders for three weeks have established the run. They're very clearly going to run the football. They don't care if it's one yard to yard no yards. But once you break one, that's when teams will have to respect it. And it's going to come. They just need to keep doing it. And I really just think it's just like I said a shoelace away. And I've seen this before around the NFL. So when I say that's David blouse about when does balance become predictability right and obviously it's it's a conversation we always have about offensive football is you want to have this balance run past mixture and it's necessarily have to be 50 50. Our mayor and Cliff Kingsbury once told me that 50 50 is never the goal. It's just are we being effective. So if that's 70% past versus 30% run because this defense calls for that. That's actually balanced. But David has been much more closer to that 50 50 line when you see David blouse and you see the more 50 50 type of line. Do you feel like it's become predictable at all or do you think it is a good thing like Dan Quinn says it is where it's just us making sure the defense has to stay on.

7:14I agree with head coach Dan Quinn. I also think how even they are at this point. I think people only seeing David blouse offense for three weeks is there like their weapons so to speak because look at that final drive last week in Seattle. Rashad white's run as well as Marcus Marriottas run for the first down to ice the game. Everyone in that press box and I would think in that stadium thought Marcus Marriottos who is having a fantastic game. So the football the fact that it seemed like the commanders were going to go predictable predictable predictable and then they said no we're going to run the football. I think that caught everyone by surprise and it has a large fact why the commanders who were only up by two points at the end of that game were able to ice it. So I think right now David blouse has the benefit of only calling plays for three games. So this is a better question in nine more weeks when we're in week 12 and we kind of got it because I still think the offense is developing.

8:15So once it's like week 12 I think that's when that question is a really strong one if we continue to see this because right now he could come out and run for 80% of plays. They could build the ball 90% of plays like he it's just too small sample size. 100% and I think that leads right actually right into our final question here. So David blouse first three games I mean Vic Fangio Mike McDonald also Christian Parker less experienced defensive coordinator. He's getting another experienced guy Louie and Arumo who locked on commanders listers every day as you know this is listen every day former Cincinnati Bangles defensive coordinator Mark Marshall Cramsey. Cramsey almost put you Marcus and I messed up your last name because I almost messed it up. Can't never show the bright lights you used to cover the Cincinnati Bangles. Yeah I know sweet Lou. Yeah very very well David blouse Louis and Arumo break that match up now for man it's going to be exciting because I do think David blouse one of the more exciting young offensive minds and Luana rumo there was a time where we were calling him the mad scientist in Cincinnati when he was going to the Super Bowl in the AFC championship game and he was the only guy who could stop Patrick Maholms and Josh Halley. So Luana rumo his big thing is a bend don't break which we're seeing all across the NFL now and he kind of liked Dorontay Jones is a secondary guy he used to be the D.V. coach of Miami coach in New York for a while with the Giants.

9:29He wants his guys to create turnovers and he won't he will try to make it so you're not going to be the move at the top. That's what I mean by the bend don't break but then you know goal line stands he has good teams he wants his linebackers punch in the ball out which obviously I think the way David blouse beats a Luana rumo defense is compared to an NBA shooter the mid range game. The five to seven yards take your check downs move the ball move the ball and then fourth and goal on the goal line statistically who gets it more offensive defense. Who gets who gets who wins that win that more. I mean I want to say defense. No the answer is that he wants it more. I like that. So get to that place get to the goal line and go show that you want it more. That's how I think you be Luana rumo. 13:05Coming back what do you think I think it's a huge deal for this defense he's here he's a two level linebacker he's a guy who gets after the run game can also help in the past you know Leo Chanel obviously a really good football player hard headed strong dude but is a little bit more of a liability in the past game getting Frankie back helps out a whole lot I've said some to be getting I think he was one of the most misused players last season we saw it week one a little bit with them I think as the season continues with the rounds in Jones defense we're going to see him continue to get more comfortable and continue to make make more place. And I mean communication got better last week right against the high school how much does he impact that part of this game so I don't really think that much as much I think sunny style to the really good job last week to me the communication issues were on the back end it wasn't really that front seven and so whether it's Frankie whether it's sunny I think you've seen a really concerted effort of this front group to be on the same page and it's shown up the most in the run game and the way they've been able to shut teams down I think tight ends have killed them a little bit early in the game.

14:05And I think that the season hopefully Frankie's able to kind of help out with that and ultimately I think that you know the green dot is become is a big story it's obviously a big part of it but at the end of the day players play X's and O's for Jimmy's and Joe's got to go out there and make plays and I think Frankie helps you with that. Now that's how we saw Frankie on the field the commanders going on against an elite running back take one bark Lee they have gone against two lesser than elite running backs ever since we know the run defense is doing very well from a statistical measure he's back another elite running back how big is that for this game. Yeah I mean honestly the run game is going to be the different fate I feel like I'm both sides of the ball and particularly with the Colts you think about both Jonathan Taylor and Daniel Jones who all these commanders fans have seen kill the commanders over working in gold team over the years and I think the important thing to remember is this isn't the same Daniel Jones that played with the Giants coming off the Kelly's injury he hasn't run nearly as much this year. Jonathan Taylor is a big time player but if you can if you can turn a Colts offense that relies on him to get you into good down in distances to go try and make plays. So a situation where he's not able to do that I think that's a game changer for them and so I think with Frankie I think sunny and most importantly Adapte and Kalevon chase on on the edges.

15:15I think it's done such a good job of setting edges and not allowing guys outside I mean it's you know if you took away say quants 40 yard run where you know there's a couple of mistakles there in the middle of the field they're averaging you have 2.3 yards of caring that's pretty dang good for an offense that was that was bottom three last year against the run. 100% so I got an over under for you because I told my everyday club already I'm stealing something you and JP do I think is really fun. Got some everyday club over under brought in one of them is Jonathan Taylor over under 91 and a half yards where do you stand on that. Yes Russian rushing yards are crushing the under on the under on the hammer the under of anyone and a half under the all under the all under 81 and a half. I don't think he hits 50 yards. Okay. No more than 50 yards so 49 so we're under 49 and a half. No no we're yeah we're under 49 and a half. That's what you can get that probably pretty good plus money there. This I think this commander's defense is has the mindset we're not going to let teams be us on the ground. Yeah. Obviously teams are excited to attack this team in the air. We've seen the issues in the secondary.

16:17Hopefully that kind of continues to bait as the season moves on but they've done such a good job on the ground. I think they're going to continue to focus there and not let themselves get put into bad situations so do you give up a rushing touchdown this weekend. Yes I think I can see Danny get Danny times getting the end zone on the ground. I could also see Jonathan Taylor and I don't think there's going to be a lot of touchdowns in this game. I think this could be a pretty low scoring game on both sides of the ball but you know if they end up getting into the end zone. It's not the end of the world to me but they haven't given up a rushing touchdown yet the season or running back yet this season. Absolutely. You know it's an important thing to think about. We're four minutes in this conversation. I haven't asked about sunny style. Like first round pick. I mean that's how much is going on with this defense and there's even more things we can talk about. We will talk about but sunny just just your overall impressions of them. I mean what were you thinking when the national meeting was going in on sunny in the preseason and then like house surprised if at all are you to see what he's been doing so far. Yeah I mean I was a joke. I like when you're when you're looking at one or two preseason games and trying to stay whether rookie is going to be good or bad.

17:18You have a fake just scout former scout who's been crushing sunny forever. I hope you guys enjoy that. It's just you know I go back to the first day of rookie mini camp and every year I you know I've covered the scene for for 19 17 years 19 years on too many years to remember. And you see these rookies come in every year and you have so many guys were wide eyed excited to be a me NFL and that's an awesome way to be I want I want the guys coming in to be that sunny walked in and it might as well been a Wednesday in October it was it was it was unfazed. He was ready to go and you know from there through training camp you saw him stand at like you see a rookie player stands out on the football field and that's not that's not normal. Yeah obviously got us flowers last week with the principal year of the week and we've seen him make big plays to me the biggest play these made all season was the wheel route that a Jerem price ran just before have time to have a linebacker of that size go to run step for step and then also be able to break break up that pass is is impressive. And it speaks to something that this commander's linebacker core hasn't had under Dan Quinn. Since he's been here so I think he's a real difference figure for this defense I hope he continues to get better and get more comfortable and understand how defenses are opposing offenses are going to try and attack him.

18:27Good player absolutely man I have high hopes for sunny that play alone. I mentioned two things really stand out is one the sea hawks literally dial that up to try to beat something like that was a sunny beater and sunny said bring all the smoke. I get you and to love Bobby that's a touchdown last year I was trying to gently say that but I think we've seen that a couple times think about the very first pass play that the Eagles ran with sake one and it was a little out into the flat and when Jalen hurts its back foot and goes to throw that ball there's a good four yards between sunny and sake one by the time he releases it. Sonny's on a man and that was that kind of quick burst of speed is ability to close gaps is something that you know we can look at all the numbers from the combine and all the different things and we're like okay this dude's fast but there's underwear speed and then there's pad speed and he's a dude that that transcend both of those absolutely so Mike is still has been a big focus of conversation off season and obviously into the season day point and said he's moved back into the nickel they feel like that's where he's going to be best now last week he played the few snaps of his career but a lot of that is also going to be game for I think this week colds and my

19:33actually try to force him on the field of him where are you with with Mikey right now it's a hope that you can hold water until trade miscups back you know I like Mikey and you know you think about some of the stuff that he did in his working season creating turnovers it's impressive but at the end of the day you can only judge him on what you're seeing and last year wasn't great this year obviously has been whatever the opposite of great is and you see teams targeting him when he's on the field you see quarterback say C zero third zero and it's creating big plus plays long time long catches touchdowns everything across the board yeah I mean 26 nap they're not all past nap fast defense nap and he gives up three catches two touchdowns I mean that's rough day of the office for anybody final prediction real quick prediction does Dorontay Jones defense get another takeaway at least one takeaway that that's that weeks of getting take away I think so I really I think I look at this in two ways I think this commander's offense is going to be able to move the ball and score and this is something that Dan Cohen hasn't done well since he's been here his teams haven't done well is get out early force teams you know back on the other side I could see them getting out to a little bit of a lead anytime you force Daniel go and step to throw the ball you know 30

24:53under time prediction time as well doctor wonderful one of our longest standing every day is over under Commander score 23 and a half points I'm going to go over over but maybe not by much I think that maybe not over 30 I think they show they can get three touchdowns even with Marcus from what we've heard this is a like a fast track so I think we can expect you know the field to be to promote like some speed and some some plays over I'm with you I'm on the over to I think three touchdowns is like the floor in this thing right and three touchdowns absolutely is the floor can you get another field goal out of that I think it's definitely possible so I'll take the over on the 23 and a half points as well Rob came through with a four pack okay which I really appreciate Rob came through the four pack some other people have some of these other over under two so they're not all going to be Rob but we're going to use a lot of what Rob sent here to Jonathan Taylor okay top 10 running back in the national okay everybody knows and fancy demon over under 91 and a half Russian yards okay I'm going to go under but I think he has over on total yards I think came out of

25:57the backfield catching will be the kind of wrinkled in the applies to what they've seen so far yeah I'm with you on now I think under the the rushing yards the under the number 91 and a half Russian yards I think there's run defenses on a really good job they've contained well they've they've gotten inside penetration well sunny is clicking and closing Frankie Lou back on the field is going to be a big boost for that defense as well and I think this defense is showing that if you want to eat on it you pass to the tight end you pass down the field maybe the middle the fields open and you kind of use that run to set up that play action Terry McClore in over under four and a half reception I got to go over on that just especially with the way this team talks about the confidence the rolling and maybe even proven to last couple weeks that they're going to get those those starter receptions the quick slant for four yards on a first down or the out like blouse I think shoneys that type of the guys like you know like like a lot more maybe we got to get a couple turns full you know before we just start bombing so we got one from Michael as well I'm a thrown here with Terry because it fits Stefan digs over under nine and a half targets

26:59ooh I'm gonna go under yeah yeah I'm gonna go under just because that is a lot and I think this team is about spreading it around now he could be the hot one I think sometimes they will play the hot hand but I'm gonna go under yeah and I felt like you would which why I wonder reasons I kept it in here I'm actually going over okay I'm actually going to take the 10 targets I'm not gonna say it's like 15 targets I think stuff could hit 10 so Marcel Krampski as we know you covered Louie in a room oh you dropped here on this episode as well that Lou is a bend don't break type of guy you're gonna get some underneath stuff it may just be wishful thing stuff is on my fantasy roster I'm gonna go I'm gonna take the over on the high reception over on her from Michael Marcus Mario to back to Rob's Marcus Mario to over under one and a half passing touchdown it's very easy to say to you know and but it's say 20 over 24 points so it's kind of hard to not pick the over with the last prediction but if this is a bill pop off game can't say a push yeah can't say push magic half you know I'm gonna I'm gonna go under under

28:04I'm gonna say that one yeah I just think the the the running and how they're kind of integrating that and just to mix it up a little bit you know much like when you you fill out your sheet there's always that one upset this is I'm gonna say the one upset that they still find a way to win the game but he does the one under can I throw in a bowl prediction along with that under prediction K-Tron Allen first career touchdown okay I can see that I think that's gonna happen over or not over under so bold prediction that came in uh it's not Mark Mark has a different I can't remember I apologize to whoever sent in the bowl predict the whole prediction request do does the wash smears defense finally give up a rushing touchdown every touchdown they get it so far has been through the air they finally give a perushing touchdown I'm gonna say no yeah because I think one thing that uh some defenses do is you make you don't want to have Jonathan Taylor beat you and I think with their experience with Daniel Jones that kind of know what he has and what he can offer granted is a different guy from one of the

29:08giants couple years no he's developing got better but I think you you put it on him and you make them throw the ball and so I'm gonna say no yeah I'm with you on that if it is a rushing touchdown I have a feeling it's gonna be one of those like fake tosses or read option where Daniel Jones on how it gets the better read and gets it and I don't think it'll be a running back but it'll be I think that would be the rushing touchdown Washington commanders defense over under half a take away do they get a turn over yeah I'm gonna have to say yes to this one too because even if it's just one you know once again the the the pressure on Daniel Jones proves in you know a tip pass or anything like that one of the ricochet balls that we've already seen this year I could see that happening but I'm gonna say one yeah I think they're gonna get one it would been harder for me to go over one and a half I think they get one Daniel Jones turned the ball over five times in the first three weeks I think this defense is absolutely gonna get after does a fourth down stop constitute a turnover I mean to me it does yes that's a turn over on down right yeah to me that's a turnover no side officially a turnover but to me that is a

30:08turnover and I know a lot of defense coordinators look at that as a turnover as well full prediction final one here mark came through he predicted 27 17 Washington commanders going home back to the states two and two so I want to know what you think of that prediction and if you have one to throw out there so it sounds about right I mean it sounds like I would be I think it might be a little closer I think it could be more that you know last drive of the game much like I don't or you got to get that first down to really seal it out or you know your one turn of away from the team coming back in a fieldota tie it so I like upper 20s but you know that sounds about right you know 27 17 27 24 you know so I'm bullish and I might be kind of feeling the vibes a little bit my predictions actually 27 10 okay commanders I think this is a game where everybody gets to go home feeling really good about what the wash commanders are doing I kind of go back to even the preseason train camera we had like the two weeks of like trepidation and then two really good weeks and then two weeks of
