We'll give you our thoughts on what the managers have to say right across the board because over and above Celtic and Rangers on the Sunday there's the Hebs fans heading to Easter Road wondering to themselves what performance they're going to get. Now that David Gray is no longer in charge John Potter took the training he's the interim manager and Steve Evans is just one of the names being linked as the replacement for Sir David Gray is the Hebs fans used to call him. So lots to talk about. Let's get to the chase of European football. More misery again to you. Any great surprise losing to Ferrin Schwarz? There would have been a surprise losing to Ferrin's virus at the beginning and this season I think because Celtic are better resourced than Ferrin's virus. When he's brilliant brilliant really good reporter asking the right questions but again when I heard them speak I thought this is going to get a lot of traction and these incidents do because that's just the way it is now. No no but I think I think if we've been honest about it I think it plays into the narrative of their offense now people would get more offended by it because it is a female it's asking the questions I think there's more of a kind of that's one of the accusations was that Martin called him honey and that get blown up. It's corny. Corny came out and clarified that. Yeah I just think it was one of those things where they jumped and seized the point and I thought Martin looked again, looked tired and flat. The performance was tired and flat. I think that's part of the problem but I just think take the corny incident

I think there's so much that's organisation that's healthy at the moment that it just played in it yet everything that's been well I thought our questions were legitimate. I don't buy into anything other than the fact that you know maybe it's been blown out of all proportion. I'll tell you these days I think when stories, social media, when everything's covered people are looking for things obviously and if something's like that then of course then it becomes a big big story. The bottom line is as managers we know you're going to ask awkward questions and ultimately sometimes you don't even have to answer the question. You're asked you can have your own what you want to say in those interviews so I think that's just part for the cause and you know for Martin's a season campaign or he's a champion he knows how to do interviews. Yeah you don't need to tell me I mean I thought with them for two or three years. Especially for a, when you just get address

He could have deflected the question a bit better but he understand why he's interested to answer the question. You agree with that? What would you have done? The next one was, well you've changed that as a reason by now. The question is a legitimate question. There's no issue with that. As a matter of fact you would say it's actually calling him really good job of shares. I've known him since he started outstanding in the field and she's showing that. So ultimately it's up to you how you want to answer those questions. But I don't want that to be then taken away from the football because that's the most important thing what's happening in the field and I think in Cal spoke after the game last night and he said a little, said a couple of things but we certainly want to pick that one. You know in his talk about moments that can change and go in your favour and you think we're at a Celtic started again reasonably well and then all of a sudden there's a known goal that is very, very avoidable. 7:19was poor and I think even in Sunday in the Dabby game at Ibrook's Rangers outpowered Celtic. Really? Yeah well they outpowered them in the game, that's for sure. But again some of that comes from constant, comes from different things. So I think if you look to Sunday knowing Martin as you do and how clever he is at what we do, I think I would suggest you'll probably see a bigger physical team from what Celtic have depending who's available. But they certainly, they've got players that can play but it's not enough that you can just go and play for the first time we all know in footballers you've got to end the right to play. And the guys who are in their show last Sunday they ain't going to sit back in the mirror. Good footballers they're going to be in your face and that's what Celtic has to count. It's amazing you say you know he's going to have to go back to type of what he likes. What is he doing? Is it hello Stan? I know you're 22 stone now and in Yosfalharan is there any change coming? There's nobody in there like that. I think that's why when you look over the summer you know I'd say there's been players that they've tried to get to bring in for them not came to fruition for whatever reason. But that,

8:22if you look at that the Celtic team it doesn't look like a Martin and Neil team from what we know from previous. Yeah it's only where I would say it. But there's good players. How many times have you been as a manager sitting in a club and you've had a good few where you've had you've a great success and you've been able to mold a team the way you want to. How many times have you been in a job where you've sat there in your manager's office and you've thought recruitment guys oh my god I I fear for what's coming this season. Well I think that's what the games evolve with changed and I have always had a huge impact on anybody you say because ultimately it's changed now and we've all got to accept that in your new owners command they want to pick the players and and what you find in ours you're not finding managers you're finding head coaches head coaches come in and ultimately there's there's there's a perfect example during the week David Gray. David Gray's in outstanding coaches done fantastic at Hibbs. I'm not sure the David Gray's sign all those players but he's certainly took their app for it because he's the one that his head rolled and I think

9:24I always liked him how he came across. I think he's a good idea of the game but I think we're finding more often football now that's what's happening you know other people are picking the players and then the coaches left to go and trying and there will be many times I mean I've seen it myself that we all have different types of players that we like that that's my type of player and I'm not sure that I think Martin would want more of the type that he craves in his team. Well how concerned would you be if you get your captain and sunday talking about playing like a team of end? I mean we just build that team collectively self take route individuals then you go out you don't manage the game that last game and that first half is good sailing how can you say I'm good? I think I think well I think you're always concerned that that's that goes even with things are going well I mean that's you're always thinking about you know if spots and maybe he's but I do think they have good players but you need your best players on the pitch but you need your best players on a particularly early clubs like last week Glasgow Rangers because they've always seen good players over years but it's one thing we're good player but you need that mentality when you've made them and he goes back to your point

10:26you make a mistake and all of a sudden you need to be braving off in front of 60,000 to say go give me the ball again that's something come again I was done since the kid coming in so take me more of that type make a mistake and I think Martin alluded to it that we need to take more risks I think they play too safe at the moment so I think if you're going to lose a goal lose a goal like trying to score one being more brave in terms of taking chances on the field. Well Hugh I mean Owen's mentioned the fact that it's you know Martin he was looking for a team that's molded in the way he likes to play football well my you know assertion of that is it doesn't have those players in the building they're not in the building the back line quite simply any team that plays him is looking at saying just like skills on the ball. Skills had to nightmare last night because his distribution is wofl carbon carter because whether he's carrying an injury or whether he's just looking as if he's towing a caravan and then the two boys wide left and wide right that the field bikes I'm sorry and what makes even worse with that bike line is the middle of the park

I'm sorry and that's been you've got to remember three big games of the season last away Rangers away firms were at home lost 10 goals you know 10 goals so I mean just you can just that's that's that's a simple line that are too far too easy to play against. Yeah and the recruitment process which I have long criticized from the summer onwards now is in the situation where they get Rangers coming up in Sunday they've got Hearts and Mother along the horizon they get Celtic Eagle they get Ben Ficka away they get Besheetis this could be a very very torrid time for Celtic but on the flip side of last night three one Martin was quick to mention in the press conference today we're far from rock bottom if we win we could be eight points clear. Yeah 13 consecutive wins in the Premier League. And the thing about the SP is that's in nature

13:35football because I get we lose games and everybody wants to be kind of doing one. I'm obviously over that positive mindset and I know Matt Moby as well that that can change like that as it changes to where they are it can change their exchange for Glasgow Rangers. Yeah it was two weeks ago obviously go that's a lot fun. And I'd message Derek and we're in that and he'd be fair and we got his where he could serve as the strongest players of best players on the pitch launch score the few goals and they started to get wins and unfortunately launch get injured because at that point you thought who else was going to score all of a sudden a couple of good wins now and this is the thing I'm going to be well confident this is game. I think I know we'll talk about like net amounts in the brought money in but they

14:42have spent money and I think the challenge with Glasgow Celtic and Rangers 10 degrees when they go into those markets to sign players they have a certain sailing in terms of what the salaries are so you might pay 10 million pounds for somebody but the salaries are 100,000 pounds a week then then you can do it and I think that's the challenge the law always have but you're right in terms of the modern game recruitment is key. If you're spending money, definitely everybody will take a chance to boss me because there's no fee involved you'll look after the salary but when you're spending excess of millions you have to get those right. Now the unfortunate thing because Glasgow Celtic and Rangers is you don't get two months to bed and you need to hit the ground running you need to be ready because people are quick to make their opinion on you and that's the challenge at these elite clubs. One of the things that analysts built the bullometer at Rangers certainly a month back was froscious. Last night at Celtic Park it seems to have replaced replicated what was happening at Ibrook's. There is real discontent. I think it's

15:44a second half to have the atmosphere wasn't it wasn't. So what we know the domestic wins of camouflage to what we all know really is they haven't been prepared for Europe and it's getting all those flaws are getting revealed bluntly. Exposed. But the degree that Celtic fans last night left early held up for tests but was a real discontent. But that was about last night that's been from over a year or so. That's got longer than that one. But you know when it comes to the kid prominent. Yeah. It's still bubbling away. And it's coming to the boil and that's a problem for Celtic now even though they've made two appointments on the board. I don't know if they're appeasement appointments or not but nothing's going to change the fact that if Martin and Neil doesn't use all of his experience to could you all something out of this team on Sunday I fear that the impact will be massive. I think Sunday is it. It's not career-defining I think Martin drank a point that out but what it is is mood-defining. Oh I mean it's good. They're all I mean

16:45I've yet to approach a Glasgow debut always and it wasn't at least two or die. I mean even people call them dead troubles which there's always something on and remember a week ago the narrative was that they're in the kind of really hard to win. Yes because if they didn't, they were out of a cot he's another man. The baddie-bladdie-bladdie you know what we do. Well that was a thing because if you go to the cot and sell to it wouldn't you know out of a cot your eight points behind. You know a euro. Everyone's done. Yeah. Yeah. You know what they're losing Sunday. If Celtic was a panda morning I'm again and I think the I think more important than the panda morning for me looking forward to because we can predict that we know that. I think the important thing to me thinking about the game is who Martin plays and how they play on Sunday because my view of it is that like Karl Max says there's been a lot of let's do a bit of this and let's do a bit of that you know it's not full on Rogers doing the past past past as a bit of that as a bit of

18:48gravitate to that because they see that somebody that's given their very best for the gravitas that you bring to this debate given what you've done with the management of player if you get a team that's like confidence and confidence is a big thing at the moment clearly it's absolutely would you have still having them play this out the back possession pressurised game or would you utilize your two front men that have capable of being physical and running along how would you sell well I can judge because I don't want with them those players day in and day out so you ultimately you've got to make that call on what you know you have in the building so as much as we look and we see snippets and we see games until you what we're playing on a daily basis that's when you see what they have and what they don't but what I do concede is that Sunday's a big game not in terms of the points I think somebody game for the fans to see a team that wears that jersey I mean to wear that jersey is a special special thing so I think they want to see people with injury ultimately fans would love to be in the jersey they can't be so what they then

19:48want is somebody in the jersey that gives everything they've got you won't play well every game we know that but you just want to leave the stadium thinking they were trying they're not most of me you know in that shot that Celtic shot which is you know historical proud everything goes with it they're doing their very best to win the game and I think when you get teams like that with the quality they do have they're of course you get the results you go go and go in the Rangers camp in a moment but I've got to actually one thing it's here you can come up with it quickly it's a difficult one you've signed players along the way some of them cost a lot of money some of them have gone on to being absolutely fantastic give me the one that cost a lot of money that you were bricking yourself with who turned out to be a superstar and then one that maybe didn't well I'll give you I'll give you the one who were on a super star that cost so I signed Marcus Alonzo and Rodrigo de Marino for one million dollars each from Real Madrid and the deal was agreed and on the day that the money was transferred and the whatever it's to be done then Rodrigo de Marino was used as part of the de Maria deal from Benfica to Real Madrid he was used as a microwave so I still signed Marcus Alonzo
