What's going on everybody? Good morning. I'll let you begin because you're a lifelong Red Sox fan baseball Savant on this show. Let's just do it in order. One good by Roman Anthony, go after yourself. Okay, okay. You're set home. You're in the most. He came back though. You're you're you're sent back to Boston to get imaging. Goodbye Roman Anthony. Okay. See you later. Don't let the door hit your backside when you leave. Okay. Just, you are not meant for this town.
Miss, mismanagement at all. When it comes to your, the, I don't know. I would just assume that a hand can heal in five months. I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy. Secondly, we all were wrong about Brazler. I don't put any of this on Chad Tracy. Not a single thing. I don't understand how you can do that. Do you think that Chad Tracy is in charge of when to pull a picture again? Well, then why? I'm asking if he's not. Why are you removing the interim tag? Because he's happy to have the job and Cora wasn't. Okay. All right. And he's a vibes guy. Okay. He's not, you heard, well, here I'm sure we'll hear the audio. Well, Greg vibes curator. Right. Hold on one second. What happened to you? Oh, I got a little injury yesterday. What? You look horrible. Yeah, it was what happened. At the soccer game yesterday,
I was looking one way, heard, watch out turned, ball directly into my face to the point where it bent the brim of the hat I was wearing back into like my, the bridge of my nose and just ripped it open. I apologize for laughing, but I mean, gotta be, gotta be, if you're coaching, it'll be focused on the activity on the field. I was, I was focused on different activity on the field. I was focused on a kid shooting on net instead of a kid passing to my right. Did you crumple over like what? What was that? Oh, no, you stood in there. Like it took it, like it made me feel. Safe from the game and then watched a volleyball game out. Oh, wow. Yeah, really. I didn't want to sit in traffic. Does that even have a headlight to affect me? I wasn't sure if I had a mild concussion or not. So, required stitches at all. AT told me she like patched it up yesterday and said, after two or three days, he's like butterfly stitch things if they don't hold properly, then I may need to go to urgent care and get a stitch. All right. Now, and again, I feel terrible. But do they record these games? Like, would there be video footage anywhere that we can find?
No, there would not. Unfortunately, I wish. But if anything, the camera goes up just before the game starts. All right. Well, this is like 35, 40 minutes before that. Appreciate being here. Always Greg. You know, we'll add you to the show entry report. I'm not Roman Anthony Greg. Even though I'm a little banged up, I still show up. All right, Curtis. So you were on Breslow, I think. It's, this is why analytics fail in the playoffs every single time. I alluded to it yesterday when it pertained to money ball ending in the ALCS. You have a three game series. You have a picture that has been superb third time through the lineup. You were in the definition of a must win game. And you pull sunny gray. A day after pulling patent holy after 83 pitches. And we can all agree the offense sucked. That's why you lost the series. We don't have to relitigate that. But if your offense sucks, I don't know. Call me crazy. That means you really have to focus on how good your pitching is to have a shot to win the game.
And you just, I am, you're not going to win a world series with this approach. You're just not. It's fine for 162 games with a massive sample size. But in a three game series, this analytics approach does not work. So is your guess that analytically they went into that with the expectation that sunny gray was only going to give you 70 pitches? No, like is that they say that the third time through the order overall, batters have a much bigger advantage in the picture. Has any pitch this season where he's gone over 70 pitches? Yes. So, I mean, I just think that, you know, I would say that I don't know. And I get what Curtis is saying, Brez is the analytics. But if you're, I guess if you're Chad Tracy in this situation, it's got to be up to you to be like, no, he's still good to go. We're going to leave him out there for one more inning. But it was interesting. And I'm sure we'll hear from him, but Wilson Contreras after the game talking about like, this is baseball. Like it's not just about having talent. You have computers. You have data.
So is it a baseball issue as a whole or is it just Craig Brezler? To me, listening to Wilson Contreras after, he's basically saying like, it is what it is. This is the game of baseball now. Like we've done it to ourselves. I'm not going to put it on Brezler. I mean, let's be honest. Your team, Bluent, you suck. The offense blew it. The manager sucked. Good morning. Yes. Your offense sucked. Your bullpen sucked. The guys that you expected to do well coming out at a bullpen were trash and crochet and wit lock. Like, you know, Miller wasn't great. So let's like, I mean, I get Brez bought in some of his analytic stuff, but I'm putting this squarely on the back of the players. I don't understand why he goes back to Eric Miller again. Yeah, that's stupid. I'd prefer a CPR dummy out there. I'm like, who traded for Eric Miller? Yeah. Yeah, they traded for Eric Miller. Craig Curtis asks a question. Who in that's Craig Brezler?
So yes. Yeah. So I would assume he has faith in him. But the notion that the manager of the Boston Red Sox is the one dictating, do you think he decides the lineup? Yeah. You do. I think Craig Brezler also went out and got Ranger Suarez and you didn't see him once in the wild card series in the playoffs. So I think it was a game three tonight. He would have lasted at least 60 pitches. Hey, I'm just, you know what? Great that we got Eric Ravel out there. I mean, talk about a difference maker. That was. Yeah. Awful. But no, but you know the whole thing was. Yeah, but you were like, people are like, oh, you got crocheted. Right. He should go out there, but that's what I'm saying. It's on the players. You know, obviously they didn't take care of business. All thing was awful. Yeah, it was embarrassing. I pathetic. And would it have been, honestly, would it have been better if they didn't go on their run and they didn't end up being a wild card team? No. I think you can't take you can't take back how great it felt when they went on that run.
Like at the end of the day, we still had a lot of joy. Like, but great. But great. Positive spin. Great. Right. That would have been much better if they didn't have that. Oh, come on. No, I'm talking about the future of the team. I'm not saying the moment we can always say that that was enjoyable. Oh, you. It was a summer. But they made a, they might have made a different decision when it comes to Craig Brezlow. They might have made a different decision when it comes through the manager's going to be. I'm kidding. He's going to have a very optimistic final end of the year. Press conference. And he's going to be saying, you know, look what we accomplished when the reality is that was an anomaly. And that was that was not this team. If they, if they didn't make the playoffs, then they might have been a team that would be interested in going out and paying a lot of money to get a legit bat around here. Right. Remember when you wanted to do Peter Lonzo? Yeah. Yeah. That might be what would happen. But no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, they're replacing with him to the bomb yesterday. My issue is that, looking to spend dominating the, the E.L. wild, the enno wild card, which is zander bow guards. Two bombs, he's been, I think he's got four extra bass hits for the pod raise.
They got past the, the cubs. Schwarber with a massive home run yesterday to keep the Phillies alive against the, the braves going into game three. So they're don't blame Brezbott, bring the ownership, because. I would do Peter Lonzo. They were the ones who got rid of, if you're saying, now it's all in the bogeuts and Schwarber, and blame john henry and sam kennedy and the people that don't have to tell me to do this i'll go i'll read it on my main we're bringing up guys from four five years ago this is done from that game was done hello done from wallfim from morning done what's going on that game was brutal last night yeah i you know no one showed up the point besides honestly trevour store he looked pretty good in the field last night just an unbelievable showing the offense was atrocious and then me ball sub miller came in i knew the game was over yeah i mean what you can't even in two games in the wild card series you can't end up with double digit hits like what do they have seven hits seven hits in two games i mean come on
and and most of those hits that come to like after the fourth of fifth inning it's like are you serious all right well red socks are done that's that story book season is over and you can talk about that all morning long here on boston sports original w e i we're going to get to our leads coming up then they said it at seven fifteen and that includes what sad tracy said about his fellas swinging the bats and other things also includes what mike rables said about irresponsible journalists who and reporting that uh utilizes unnamed sources so um we'll let that tell you that thing had everybody's panties and it really it really really upset some people wow i mean i i don't know what i'm but i'm are you and i not supposed to share what what people are telling us i like i said well you shared most of i mean he's like i mean i'm fair we talk i know you're not a fox like i i didn't i didn't hear
from you at all yesterday yeah but i wasn't gonna like that i was like i was like luckily defending yeah that's nothing bothered me like i'm not gonna jump in there with these morons or whatever like i mean god damn uh like a whisper is a whisper no a whisper is a whisper like kill the messenger right i like i don't know the man but it appears that somehow i ruined Andrew cahillah hands year by by sharing so i don't right the guys posting people are sending me post late into the evening where he's so stupid appears to be very upset i mean get some get some Gucci man you ain't got no you know i mean let's not do blow blows but i mean that's the fact that's what he said he needs i mean you're still like it's it's 10 p.m. at night you know i mean and it was said kind of more if you listen to the whole thing it was it was just said like all right believe it if you want to believe it there's no real yes all right i listen to the whole thing right listen to
rables press conference what does he say that says that Greg is wrong that's another way to look at it just to keep here to work with trick right doesn't mean he likes trick bay how many marriages end in divorce uh i think they all begin with optimism i sure yeah i mean don't you not get lemon that pull not not not first of all you can't because there's a content aggregator who's pulling a 20 second clip of something right your job as a journalist would be to go back and listen to the entire thing right i mean i appreciate the attention i don't like it i don't mind it either i mean i also felt like rabble had listened to it or like i'd gone back and listen because he like laughed when he was at like he had a smart how's he going to be on right i think after a game like that on sunday you might have to switch seats with me on my morning you'll want to sit next to me i think we'll just have a gap savage should have probably tag shack and uh joe rogan in the poor power of paz yeah right tag shack yeah joe rogan and
talk to school well doctor about you okay all right well and care and talk that was my own congress this all right i think i like that nice we have a lot to get to on today's show and we will do it in a couple of minutes coming up next so we're going to shot him to right field of days here pickings are going to double their lead in sub right you plays it on one hop pitch beneath the zone but bellinger got to it and it's two nothing Yankees not a bad pitch right slider he picked it right off of the dirt i mean that was exactly where he wanted it though head bellinger hit it about like a golf shot logged it right over so guard at second base on the levy bro there's no doubt about it oh my god that was a frustrating moment last night again the early hook on sunny gray they go back to erick miller keve and like why on earth this
is not a second guess for anyone like the i think all of twitter i saw you doing this i did a bunch people did this yeah the second they're like erick millers warm it up i'm like what why on earth sucks what why is he warming up that was so bad you should give it a uniform why is he allowed to warm up in the bullpen what's he doing the worst guy on the roster he you just tried it yesterday so you got a chance to sleep on it yet all day to think about it you know like well that was if i could do that one over i wouldn't oh not true if i could do it over i would in fact i'll prove it to you let's get erick miller up in the pen in the fifth inning again with runners on base again and actually with that i guess the first time was a clean home run wasn't even runners on base this time there's runners on base and uh there was always exactly what he thought it was going to be and could have been even worse wasn't for the defense could have been even worse uh sunny gray at that point had allowed one run he by the way and you'll hear him say this he's very aware of his stats you'll hear him say this coming up hey you gotta be aware stats you know the managers were stats but factually because i wasn't sure when he said this if he was right factually sunny gray led all
american league starters with a 180 batting average against the third time through the batting order that's pretty important case he was going a third time through the batting order furthermore and they pointed this out on the broadcast last night good broadcast there was less rizzo i think they got some feedback for less but i forget to point it out it might have been jarardi it might have been lu i forget uh but when tracy brought in miller the lefty to face bellinger bellinger bellinger actually has these reverse splits bellinger two seventy four against lefties this year compared to two fifty nine against righties that's not a huge difference no but it's not like he's stinks against lefties uh he has a three ten batting average against lefties over the last two years so if you go to a larger sample size he's lit up left hand to pitching and they go back to it and i'm really just like some self-op it doesn't matter who's out there true and i say they because it's not just chattracey it's also Craig brezlo and let me tell you sonny gray and wilsing controllers this full blown revolt their piston brezlo maybe tracy as well as on their list but they're pissed at brezlo would be my urban interpretation so sonny gray has asked about this after
the game just like toly was asked the day before uh what do you think again lifted bait toly's like you know bullpen they've been good all year they can pick me up blah blah blah yeah team guy team guys right sonny gray and i'm with him on this like i'm pissed too they should have left sonny gray out there i wouldn't have pulled sonny gray last night i would have pulled toly before i think gray was rolling more i trust gray more a third time through the order i think pulling gray was insanity i was okay with pulling patent toly i didn't like who they brought in the game although maybe garret crochet would have blown it as well the way he pitched true um i did not like the decision last night i was okay with the one that i before and let's just say sonny gray played it totally differently than patent toly too he's asked about chattracey's decision to pull him i think i'm the best pitcher in the american league going through the order of the third time uh i think that's a fact um yeah i mean i i would have liked to liver die with with with me in that moment but that's the competitor i am and uh yeah i think you can probably ask the guys and they
felt the same way um so i felt strong i felt confident i felt convicted um you know i'm just gonna hope what can you do you know i think i just answered that question i mean this is also the difference between a guy who's been in the league 14 years versus one in patent toly also this is after the team has been eliminated whereas toly it's just a one game lost good point so you can see why you'd be even a little bit more upset but i'm glad that he was truthful about it i think that's what so many people were thinking and it's one thing for you or i or all the fans to be like why are you why are you taking them out you should have left them in the starting pitcher is not going to come back to the team next year because you took them out of the playoff oh he's not going to be back this is clear it's so Nick can we jump that one let's play this real quick like you lost them you lost the game in part in part because you pulled them early sunny gray was asked multiple times
this question he's definitely not coming back to the red sucks so he won 100% gone you lost it because of this decision he was asked that multiple times yes he gave a similar answer he also was asked separately do you want to keep pitching he's like well yeah i think that's clear he's like i can keep it's in law was awesome this year i mean i'm paraphrasing but he was awesome he was 18 and five 18 wins by the way it was the most in the league and then he had a 2.72 ERA he somehow was an all star snub these don't finish third in the sion the guy's going to be back even though he's 36 37 whatever we've seen some older pictures recently he also doesn't rely on gas so i wouldn't be shocked if you did have another good year but it's not going to be here unfortunately give me one more definitely not give me one more this is on uh did he have any conversation with chat tracy like chat tracy wants to set something to him right what chat say plus a set something
oh so this is where that's cowardly from chat tracy so if you're just listening to Breslo tough spot to be in it's part of your job you just signed this extension they they hired you because you said i'll do whatever you say i'll do whatever the computers tell me to do i'll just do that i want to have a job i get it i'm not even completely besmirching him for that however one of the main jobs of the manager is also to communicate with the players right that's sort of it separates him from every other computer and sunny gray just has this unbelievable season the year is about to go up and smoke you don't want to have a little conversation with them about this you don't want to talk to him about it at all this is this is why i say if they're the criticism from gray and what you're going to hear coming up by Wilson and charis it's not just about breslo that's clear grays pissed at tracy as well yes javan a conversation with him and he's like smirking there by the way he's like no yeah he's like that guy like the squid no he did not have a conversation with me no and so tough you know sunny gray i mean you're still losing the game like i'd be careful how far you want
to take this sunny but i wanted to stay in the game but at least this one you could make the case i know it's butterfly effect you don't know how the game because they scores the red sucks at the front they actually maybe they do when the skand the paint totally game is like sorry bud you get to get up the one the game was over we saw the mythical unicorn yeah of a red sucks run it was amazing in this game it was if i really did feel great but that is just super disappointing i'm glad that he said that because if they're going to use stats like well we can't have any picture of picture third time through Sunday grays like i'm actually the best at pitching a third time through so if you're freaking out about the third time through the lineup you shouldn't freak out about sunny gray who has been start to finish one of the strengths of the team and then you run away from that in the playoffs for truly a weakness of the team Eric Miller should be off the team is useless and it was proven in game one and then you're like no no no we're gonna double down on it they won't do it again they did it again uh no and look i i didn't like pulling gray last night i had no problem taking out totally the night before uh i just think gray look more locked in and i trust the more third time through the order but going back to Eric Miller crazy uh Ken is in
Los Angeles get us started today Ken when you did need a reliever last night swore is should have been the first one out of the pen that's what you got him for interesting yeah this is a tough one i'm not entirely i don't know if i agree with that because it's an all hands-on if you win the game i know and then i guess what do you do and i guess you're like two carers you got to see i mean ben it's on the roster you could go benefit now you remember flashback couple of weeks ago when we were talking to rob Bradford uh who's gonna join us at 11 30 today before the rotation had been declared and we're like where do you put toly and he's like he was like you put toly third however you have the flexibility to put him in a game too so it's sort of similar idea what Ken was just saying there about because it is one of those things you that's so ranger suarez who you acquired because he's good in the postseason your big-off season signing never pitched net didn't throw a pitch in octo well no one played in october no no pitch in the postseason that's the right way to say you made the playoffs yeah he was healthy and he didn't pitch in the playoffs
so i don't know i guess i kind of get that i'm i wonder how he feels no i don't think anybody talked to him i wonder how he feels he might be ready he might be ready to tee off on you talk to him rezlo and tracy as well and him our baseball is in boring six one seven seven seven nine seven ninety three seven i'm with sunny gray on the criticism i'm not so sure i'm with this next guy cover first cover first base wilson katreras he sucks but make no mistake open revolt in that red socks clubhouse last night first sunny gray wilson katreras next let's get to it again next you're on to keep the ocean moves us whether that's surfing a wave or taking in an inspiring view the ocean feeds us sustainable seafood practices bring the oceans bounty to our plates the ocean teaches us how our everyday choices big and small make an impact the ocean delights us as playful coastal kelp forest the ocean connects us find your connection at monoray bay aquarium dot org slash

a back with a wireless and waterproof charger expect all new features all the time let's go to Susan real quick and wester Susan this guy roman Anthony is so thought he can't deal with pain this guy is a complete bust everybody knows it he didn't say that he was injured he didn't say it was her uncomfortable well roman Anthony a lot of athletes go through this back just you look at the terrorists and everybody oh what makes him so special I think the plays in that club post they can't stand him that's my opinion who else is soft out there not just on this team but any of the other positive tell me you know who's the own cold star drake may he's making excuses and when you make excuses drake may you're a loser you're a cold one in more loser as far as i'm concerned get your big boy can't stop playing the game
you know i just don't get these athletes what do you think roman Anthony's doing right now it doesn't seem like he's with the team what do you think he's doing instead i hope he's working on that injury supposedly not because it's not heroic what do you people gonna when that don't he's out here i read the new york's flying the ruckus toilet paper i know how this works and i'm tired of it thank you oh man i just want to take susan everywhere just let just let out the games brood's games just let her bitch about every i i've susan you have a gold pass in the front oh this is a nice coffee pop field fair really fun just to walk around with susan at the top field fair oh hell yeah you you call yourself a conny you got all your teeth i just i she's great is she the one who we we tried to put her on a date with wiki okay that was great she called in one time and i'm like who do you like it's like i think wiggies a tall drink of water and i'm like all right well and then wiki
was listening and called in got him together in dreams could have she wants wiki to do six eight of six p i will man you can't listen to who doesn't all right uh we will uh take your call six one seven seven seven nine seven nine three seven and his rich can and Ted and uh by the way i want to i want to start with this call right here because this is something i'm hearing a lot of zack online one what sub zack how's it going hey how's it going what's up buddy uh yeah so i uh just scrolled through youtube earlier and john boy had a pretty good uh video about sunny gray and having all kinds of sticky stuff on his neck i don't know if it was pine tar or whatever they're using but sometimes the substance and uh as the game was going you know if you he uh it started getting more and more obvious going to it and like his neck just started looking filthy so john boy had thrown out the idea that tracier pulled him because uh it was getting so obvious no or like suspension or no that's okay for you to check by the umpires it is a funny theory because i saw that video as well
obviously during the broadcast i i didn't see any of it but there is a video of sunny gray who like has this this stuff on the back of his neck i don't know how accurate this video is but that's a good spin that that's why tracier got him out okay coach all right so let's say that that's the case you still don't put an Eric Miller a bitch after that well he panicked it was he had to act quickly i can't get so act very quickly he just defaulted to the yesterday's decision he was doing him a solid absolute and sunny gray obviously sounds that way what if they have a plan for each game and it didn't get updated like it was the game won script and it was still said Eric Miller on it so he just yeah game one from like august 15 when when Eric Miller was actually pitching well the last time he pitched well when he pitched in San Francisco he pitched like fifth and sixth inning he was not a leading in guy so i guess so all right let's go to uh Tony in the seaport Tony how you doing bud hey guys two things first of all on analytics why i'm earth would you pitch to balance your who
crushes off speed lefties that's number one number two look at the look at the big three for the Yankees young kids right you got Jones you got Volpy and you got Lombard others they're putting a lot of money they're investing in those guys um and we have the gamble is he's got crushed my analytics far young guys Anthony is we all know the situation and mayors gone so would you rather be in the Yankees situation now with the young three would you would you rather be without you know off oh don't you know you're right wait till the salary cap it's red socks are right under right Yankees have the trade guys Tony I guess that's the case uh by the way and somebody's like saying on the text umpire checks them after every every inning of course we we know that but it is funny didn't check his neck though I guess not but the videos videos pretty funny how he reaches to his neck and has all that and I do love that theory it just doesn't explain why the f you would put the dump truck back in when he's just sucked for so long I don't know what analytic could tell you to do
that I mean I there is no explanation there is not all right let's go to Jonathan online to Jonathan what's going on hi I want to make a key point let make no mistake about it they didn't score lines and that's why they lost but the thing it irks me about these two games is look at the contrast you have the Yankees pictures on a roll the status and what did the manager do he ran with it yep the starter in the game one went 118 pitches and yes last night a hundred pitches and and the red socks have the exact same scenario the game was in the balance at that time in both games were only one run game yep the difference is the Yankees didn't manage like it was the middle of the season because there's no need to now you run them out there and you go with it until it's broken it's obvious that's what good managers do in the playoffs absolutely man there's there's no question and the fact that you decided that Peyton told he was your guy and you yanked him at 82 pitches when he'd done that 20 times this season he had pitched more
it's this is it's ridiculous that you can look at a guy who is still pitching well and Yankeum when he had done it more pitches than 82 20 different times and sunny gray is the most unforgivable like sunny gray like there was no velocity being lost he just given up one home run that happens couple singles but he's added under control two outs yeah that's absolutely there's David let's go David online for real quick all right David what do you got there David hey how you doing so so here's my theory as I was watching the game I noticed something was weird about sunny gray snack yeah I even touched on my son I'm like isn't that close weird so and allow a family it seems to be that there was something going on and that could have been very well the reason why they pulled them you know it's weird because I'm watching the video again it doesn't look discolored but but I don't know I mean I guess that could be like it almost looks like if somebody took like duct tape and then pulled it off you know the residue that's left
yeah that's sticky residue it that kind of looks like that and I don't know whether he's just got a bad case of neck acne or something I don't know but that it is funny looking is it kind of brownish and maybe got his hand on some of the dirt and then scratched his neck it could be dirt I've also seen people saying that it's kind of a tick that sunny has where before he kind of pitches he'll reaches hand back and touches neck it's a tick yeah it could be let's go to art online three art how you doing man hey guys I mean guys we have to be realistic this is an anemic lineup of the the words they were guys have crazy the pitching moves were and they were certainly ridiculous you got to score some runs they have nobody in that lineup that's got anyone this guy has to revamp that team he needs three infields serve a nice little guy goodbye you watch stop goodbye you need a second basement you need a left fielder you a serious serious jolt in that lineup you are it's gonna repeat itself every single year and it's it's pathetic why should we surprise
you have a terrible September the worst offensive temper of any team in baseball and the other question I have guys is I don't schmitzler at Northeastern slip through the red socks and get to the Yankee's seven freaking round he's unbelievable I know I know well well I school and Northeastern how could they possibly let that happen I know I'm rice from co-hacen well just out here by how did you know that he was from Massachusetts but they mentioned them the broccoli it's just adds to the embarrassment of the whole franchise the whole series rather it's it is a weird spot to be and all right Tommy Kern is a very smart man and he's got theories about Drake mage's shoulder injury uh actually kind of uh uh spicy spicy theories so we will get to him next patreon's friday all day long here on boston sports original w e i and coming up on the show from new port road island today jlenno will be with us as he always is when we are down here as a part
of the odd rain concourse motor week which goes on every year down here in new port and then we will I believe we'll talk to nicosto city 30 he can tell you how to wager ray borke is going to join us at nine and rob nickovich who's bringing officially bringing one of his trucks as an entry into the show uh is going to try to get here but he had to run the kids to school he said so he's running a little bit behind but we'll try to get nickovich on before the end of the show this morning if he gets here in the meantime uh we got to wrap up they said it but get to a couple other things here what's next time well gregg paton toly uh spoke to the media and talked about kind of his growth over the course of the season we can hear from our guy paton toly yeah and growth like that's the biggest thing for me was I could like you know starting off in um in the woo and then trying to figure out a curve ball and then you know now we get to the biggest stage and
got to throw the curve ball a lot like try to grow as much as we can throughout it all so um it's about that sums up this year for me learning learning from the game learning from guys like sonny learning just trying to find every single bit in piece that um this game is going to give you and you know what's it going to ask and how are you going to answer starting off in the woo with Jones and Keith no less which obviously helped them a lot um but I mean if you're I don't know if you're over uh what happened the other night yet but um if you're looking ahead and you're trying to remain optimistic awesome guy to have like uh on that team yes not only because of his arm but because of the kind of guy he is um and I think pitching wise courtesy you still think there's not going to be a season or there's going to be a half season or whatever but I mean pitching wise you're pretty well set up as long as care as long as garrick crochet is is back to what garrick crochet is pitching hasn't been the issue for a while all right it's about getting well if you it's the issue if you don't let them uh stay in the game and keep pitching right well once we get
ready to catch crazy we'll be all set but yeah you're right no but I mean so it's really uh so pay payroll where it is 225 million or whatever it is um is presolo going to be allowed to go out try to get a legit bat to add no okay I mean so you're what's killed them is that causes like who they thought was going to be a power corner infiel there has like you built the house and the outfield of polar park like he's just never coming it shouldn't be back at some point right I mean I would say it's more likely that Jay Leno is back on NBC hosting tonight show then is that Tristan Cassis is playing for the red socks yeah but what's the deal there like what honestly what's been the latest because there's been very little talk when he re injures he somehow re-injured himself while rehabbing yeah in four buyers right it's been the worst rehabbing injuries since Chris sale fell off a bike I think thinking about Christian Cassis is like you just all
you're doing is you know waste of time in your life like he's not even a factor it's they have to go out he's a factor because they're paying them though yeah but they're not paying them much though they they they they have to go out and get legitimate a legitimate bat that can help the lineup because it's too much of like the production or not the projection of a player too much projection of what Roman Anthony could be too much projection of what this guy could be no you need to go out and you got to get a legitimate bat for that lineup and you go all right here's a guy who's coming in and you know exactly what you're getting from this guy year in and year out and whether whether it's we've talked about this before whether it's a you know similar guy to like Peter Lanzel or that type and I don't know who this player is but they need a legitimate bat in that line up that has major league experience and has performed at a high level in the major league for a number of years not just projection of what guys could potentially I would do Peter Lanzel you think
you think John Henry's gonna write that check but I mean the check doesn't have to be much like Peter Lanzel didn't make that it mean he made a hundred and what was it 65 million or whatever that was over five years it wasn't like the contract was massive it's not like I'm saying go get like a one-soto or a show hey we're gonna have to pay five or even a Vlad Guerrero Jr. five six seven hundred million you could get like a quality bat for what we saw Peter Lanzel go for not to revisit an argument because Wiggy and I are not gonna change our opinion on it but Wigs doesn't concern you that the GMs have all changed but the approach remains the same and yet the managers have changed and the approach remains the same like those in that tell you it's not just the Craig Brezler high bloom or Cora or Chad Tracy that this is all an organizational philosophy yeah but I've said that they've changed their financial philosophy but I'm saying across the board whether how they treat pictures in playoff games to how they do these things like the organization has a view and for some reason they are reversed to paying power hitting guys
at the top of the market they gave devers that money because the guy was screaming at Henry at the winter classic and they lost Andrew Bogart's and they overreacted that's not something they wanted to do and they were so happy to offload that deal is it like what you heard from will you're the other night uh no sorry from Wilson Contreras the other night is that happening everywhere or is it just here because like are guys everywhere complaining about the analytics and about how much a team relies on it or is it just here and is that like are guys not gonna want to come here because there's zero baseball intuition that they give any credit to whatsoever everything in moderation including moderation is a line you taught me Greg yes and they don't have it here there's analytics in every baseball department across the big leagues and their teams will be stupid not to incorporate analytics into their thought process and how they plan their roster and how they plan their their approach to pictures the issue here is that it's totally and completely out of whack yeah
don't you don't you think there's no balance like don't you think they have a problem if you have Wilson Contreras you know doing the zip my mouth sign and then finally saying something about it like don't you think they have a bit of an issue with some of the guys on the on the on the team of course yeah they do because if you're Wilson Contreras and you're at bat at Yankee Stadium against Schlittler or against freed and it's a must win game and there's 60,000 people screaming the most vile crap at you and the guy that's your boss is like oh well the algorithm says you're going to get a base hit here like without any understanding of all the environmental impact of where you are the clutch situations and this is why Billy Bean has never been to a world series this is why you cannot solely rely on analytics because these are human beings hitting a baseball which is the toughest thing to do in professional sports and when you don't have any understanding of that especially as a guy like Breslow who actually pitched in high leverage spots as a reliever at
Yankee Stadium that they don't know that I think that's the biggest difference for me when you go from a high bloom to a Craig Breslow to somebody who actually plays the game and the analytics are still the main driving force that speaks to ownership that speaks to the higher ups yeah but you have to believe like and this is where constant I disagree like I don't believe that Craig Breslow is telling Chad Tracy in a playoff game hey at 80 pitches I want you to take out Peyton Toli I appreciate your opinion but that doesn't make any sense would you mean that's making any sense Chad Tracy is not Yankee Sunni Gray in a game that you have to win when he looks good at 70 pitches unless that was the plan going into it there's no way that's the plan where you could say listen I'm gonna die on this hill okay right I'm gonna why didn't we know what that why nobody wants that why didn't they pull Garry crochet then last year in game one when he got to 70 80 pitches he went what seven or eight innings in that first game like I'm gonna die on this hill Craig
Breslow yes does he love the analytics different different manager and a manager who's gone because he wanted to do things like that on his on his own this you know it's not a guy who just put the plan in place and said yep no problem I'll do it you know I got I was fired in the next month of baseball because he and the person that you're talking about couldn't get along yeah you know what this sounds like to me and I'm just dying the sale and so regardless when people when people stop talking about this it's the low hanging fruit let me bring let me blame Breslow and a Bresbott in the organization you know what it's like for me when I hear that it's not long no no no that's been literally like the most old baseball thing in this town I didn't say to manager I said Bresbott in good morning you know what you're playing the manager you know what I hear what who are you blaming you know what I hear when you start saying that is Charlie Brown's teacher when they used to call well you've already used this one before well I'm gonna keep you in it because once you start doing that I'm like okay let me know when he finished blaming Bresbott and John Henry there is literally no more old school thing to do that has been done a billion
times then blame the red socks manager it's my whole life but no one's blaming for it's called my it no one's putting full blame on the manager you are you saying he pulled them I just like Vafengu all right listen I have said this a million times wait who pulled the way I did was 80% 80% of the red socks blame goes to their inability not to be able to hit the base I agree but who are you blaming for pulling the picture I said I am blaming them I think it was a manager's decision to pull the picture right and I didn't agree with it but I'm not blaming the pictures or the manager in that case because even when he pulled Peyton Toli and he pulled Sonny Gray they still could not hit the baseball agree with that's it so when you start playing Bresbott and John Henry I hear wow wow wow wow you're among the problems among the problems yes that is just one of them and it's to you it's less of an issue
it's a small problem than the lack of offense that the team had most most of the season yeah it's a small problem for me okay all right we are I swore an Italian shot that's okay on serious exam I think all right we're in Newport Rhode Island it's a flex Friday beautiful day in Newport Rhode Island oh my gosh unbelievable day and we're gonna be joined by Jay Leno coming up Courtney with what is in her feed in two minutes on the great hill show at WEEI the ocean moves us whether that's surfing a wave or taking in an inspiring view the ocean feeds us sustainable seafood practices bring the oceans bounty to our plates the ocean teaches us how our everyday choices big and small make an impact the ocean delights us as playful otters restore coastal kelp forests the ocean

and Yankees beat the red socks nine to two the yanks are off to Tampa Bay. hi new Jones and Keith here on w e i at nine to game two lost for the red socks it somehow felt worse Keith it was terrible it was so bad the plus 16 run differential for the Yankees 18 to two they outscored in the series it is the largest run differential of all time through two games of opposed season series surpassing the blue jays plus 15 over the Yankees from a year ago the braves plus 15 over the Yankees in a 96 world series and then the nlcs comes plus 15 over the podra is it's never been done how one sided it was i mean the the runs were enough but if you want to do hits with the hit number is the red socks had seven hits in the series seven the Yankees had 26 oh that sounds I mean that's one right yeah on hits and you know in the in the postseason
I mean any hits like a huge deal you're crazy like I mean you got a base runner on the Yankees of 12 hits in game one I don't know where this number 14 hits last night yeah I don't know where this number finished to tell oh had a good one going around last night to try to find it but it was it was like hard hit baseballs like the velocity and barrels yeah what kind of barrels are we talking about let me try to find that stat but it was like it was like laughable how hard the Yankees were hitting the baseball and how soft the red socks were hitting it I'll try to track that down yeah what my my whole thing with the red socks now and I fought this all year keep and I I maintain this well the American League a is bad and B since the red socks moved on from core they were 19 games over 500 they were a plus 91 run differential so I'm like people were using that one hot stretch and throwing it out and I thought that was foolish I'm like oh the one hot stretch when they if you throw out everybody's hottest stretch the record's going to look a lot different I'm like they fired core on this day here's what they did from there this is what the team is they are not just one hot streak in the middle of the summer that got everybody to buy in and then they're actually
a bad team outside of that and you know what I am now willing to bend the neon I was wrong about that I fought that all year they were frauds so I they were they were one hot streak they got ridiculously hot they turned their season around they saved people's jobs yeah by turning their season around and they're a big giant fraud baseball the Maya I am willing to say my pushback on that would be I think the entire American League is fraud for frogs and so one of the teams that just advanced is the Chicago white socks how the red socks do versus the white socks in the regular season they beat him every time they played six oh they swept I think they're better than the Astros I think they're better than the guardians I think they're better than every team except for the Yankees and the way they're hitting they probably would have lost the series to the raise as well but I think they had the toughest possible matchup but that's our own fault don't get the second mile card then if you don't want to face the Yankees in the first round so that was on them and I do think the lineup proved to be a little bit more fraudulent I still think they're pitching specifically they're starting pitching was good enough and was better than any other team except for the team
they faced right like not any other team the American League has cam slittle and max free but no no the team has paid in toly sunny gray true now the red socks also chose to manage that really poorly they did so they took a strength and they didn't even like capitalize on it I blame for that not only did they give those guys quick hooks and again I'll just reiterate just so people know I was fine with pulling toly where they did and I hated pulling gray one guy felt like he was cruising more one guy's a veteran one guy's better the third time through the order so it's not just that though Keith it's not just how they bungled that I still think they got the order of the two wrong like I still want to have gray in game one and totally in game two and I think you have a better chance of winning games that way but whatever the way slittle and free were pitching maybe not Nick I found this number as well but this is in the middle of the game is this where it finished this was actually I don't know where finished but it was a halfway through yesterday hard hit balls at one point in the series I don't know where it finished yeah it was balls hit harder than 99 miles an hour it was Yankees 14 red socks two oh boy so like maybe it doesn't matter how you
pitched the 90 miles an hour it was 21 to 7 so it doesn't matter now they weren't when you pulled your starter and when you're going to hit like that I guess that doesn't matter not a lot of good a b's this is very important for our red socks offseason plans that is on the clock you want to you want to get in there first let me do it you never let me in there no I don't all right well let's let's put Keith on the clock his red socks offseason plan in just 60 seconds all right here we got to be looking at our wounds here for the offseason but I think what you got to do is you got to be aggressive in the infre agency and you got to get the best position player available and that is Randy or Rosarena six straight years 20 plus home runs 20 plus steals stick him out in left field because I'm sending Jaren to ran to any team that wants him so Jaren to ran is now off my team so you have a Rosarena say they're not feeling well you're braver that's your outfield that's pretty solid I think in the infield you're hoping the Curtis meat is healthy and you might have a 20 plus home run guy at second base Perry was Wilson Contrary is back at first Caleb Durbert at the Hawk Corner and Franklin areas has to be your shortstop from day one get Trevor story out of here Adley Rutchman I guess regrettably is my catcher I'm not signing him to an extension however
let him play out the year next year behind the plate and then my rotation is Garakrochet Peyton Toli Ranger Suarez Jake Bennett if you can beg sunny grayback do it but he's long gone so you got to go with bulk hug in himself Brian Beo as your fifth starter start okay oh shoot D H yeah Robin Anthony and the 80 gave me this is Dickie Gasper okay good good good I'm happy I missed that I get nervous we're only the Jones's time yeah you're only time you're only supposed to get 60 seconds I know that was my turn that was overtime and you're on my time that's right and again if you guys want to jump in you can 30 seconds 617 779 793 7 but Nick put me on the clock all right here's your red socks off season preview in just 60 seconds first of all avoid a lockout I'd like to have baseball next year so let's start with that some real life actual baseball games and that number two I'm checking the fine print on this new Chad Tracy contract you lifted the interim turd with a term it was obviously a mistake turd more like it
is there an out clause in there cross the T's dot the eyes make sure there's not an out clause somewhere in there so you can move on from him obviously you need to fix the offense I'm going after someone I've targeted now for years he's going into his final deal final year rather with the raise Yandhi Diaz I try to bring him in make him a full-time D H in tandem with Wilson Contreras after listening to sunny gray he's gone you need a starter trade for Sandy Alcantra or if you can't get him sign Freddie Peralta he'll be a free agent I need Roman Anthony fixed if possible probably not because you're moving on from Jaron Durand in the outfield I also promote Franklin areas to be the everyday shortstop for the red socks this team should get him back in the first round and knocked out but I think that's a pretty good plan pretty good next yeah and I like that's just what they do maybe they didn't file the paperwork as Chad Tracy was talking about the paperwork to get Roman Anthony off roster maybe the red socks didn't actually send it to the league office like oh actually it's not official that you are the manager like when the brown
shred make a trade deadline deals a couple years ago and they forgot the call before the yeah yes yes yes yes yes yes so we're I'm getting sast in the twitch chat again by less the press socks fan why is that Jones wants an out clause for his guy Chad Chad Tracy we never wanted the interim tag lifted no we didn't I think we were pretty clear on that I like Chad Tracy that wasn't a second guess but the whole reason we said don't lift the interim tag is if he goes out and reverse grady littles a couple of times then it's wise which he did yeah and they had two chances to do it this is exactly why we said consistently the second the news broke we're like geez why they do this this is why so I don't think that's inconsistent six one seven seven seven nine seven ninety three seven let's go to the phones here again if you want to jump in and go on the clock some of these others were waiting patiently including Patrick and Rhode Island hello Patrick hey you got to put the blame on on Tracy coming from a Yankee fan if boon did that which he has in the past everyone blames boon when you're sitting in that dugout postseason in Yankee stadium
you got to throw the analytic Patrick real quick do you think Patrick real quick do you think Brian Cashman wanted Schlittler to go back out for the seventh inning in game one probably not definitely not of his arm right so that was so that was boon so boon so boon has some you have boon has some autonomy manager you have to as a manager you have to be able to call those shots you have to have you you have to have that last power to say because told because I was nervous it was a one-run game we talk about the run differential 16 runs were given up by the by the red socks bullpen I think was I think was 15 but whatever so I thought one was inherited but when I read the whole idea here's the thing I I don't think Tracy has any of the autonomy that boon has and so that's probably why it sticks with boon more but honestly a lot of that should stick with cashman too I that's why this one sticks both or cuts both ways with Chad Tracy because you're like if you're still being the carrot being dangled in front of you and you are not the official manager yet you're probably more likely not to go rogue but once you become the manager maybe you can maybe you can sort of stick up for yourself
and your players were going to have your back on it now the problem with that is like what we're talking about with Rob Bradford is one of the reasons why he got that extension is because they're pretty sure he's going to do exactly what they tell him it's true and that's a fair point by Rob but like we can still criticize him yeah I don't think Tracy's blameless he's not blameless I just said we want from him and check the fine print that's a new deal so I'm not I'm not giving him zero blame the problem is baseball ops and Breslow deserves more because there's no chance Tracy wanted to take both those guys out in the exact same spot and go to the exact same guy Eric Miller who let them down in the exact same spot again there's no way he wanted to do that that's that's baseball ops and Breslow staring at their their data but here's the problem is if they if they did fire Chad Tracy and next year the same situation popped up with Joe Schmo as the manager Breslow's right back on the hot seat no but Joe Schmo's doing the same thing is my point Joe Schmo's pulling Peyton toley in the fifth inning probably so that's that's the that's the concern that's the that's the problem with but here's letting data run your team but I think I think most baseball
teams do that but here's gotta be where there's just better at it than Breslow no that's true but this is also where the fine line has to be we thought Craig Breslow was a lot like high bloom when he was hired this idea I mean he sounds like a mega it's kind of crazy how similar they are and maybe he's still working within the confines of like a of a structure but he does a better job than high bloom he got better players in the offseason his teams have been better definitely better than bloom case in point he ripped them off twice so maybe there's a chance that Chad Tracy is gonna have to work within the confines of what he's being told but can he do a better job than other guys can he take that and and you know do most of what you're telling me to do but in the right time kind of you know I have I have infinitely more confidence in Breslow than Tracy yeah of course infinitely yes and I like Tracy but these were these were rough performances in these two games Ryan is in New Jersey hello Ryan hey guys I for this I mean you got to take a broad view with this everything comes back to the fact that ever since 2018 they don't want to pay for stars they don't pay for big bats in the middle of the lineup and that's I mean so they don't have it
so what do you do you get a 22 year old kid he's trying to cheat deal with it's I'm hey kid you're gonna be the praise of our franchise starting right now not brought him up through him into the fire he's not insulated you'll have other pro hitters they could take up the slack to take the pressure off him what not I mean they just this is just a philosophy thing ever since Henry got boot when he said players are expensive and then hurryed up inside derrors I mean this is all the same thing they did it's this cost risk mitigation craft so they just don't want to have that in the order guy I agree I agree but here's the thing the John Henry thing is just it is what it is it's horrible yeah they spend more money on their team they should right but so I just we all agree with that yep no one disagree we here on the red socks flagship station w e i disagree at least I do with John Henry and his payroll and his budget and it's horrible and that is a problem okay I I've disagreed with that for years and years and years it just is okay yeah I don't know where you get to know about it all we want yeah I think about that changing is being like my god I
hate the winter embossed yeah you you live here it's gonna be cold yeah little snowy yeah it sucks okay I don't love it all the time but that's what it is better than summer is this is John Henry's budget yeah and so yes that's a problem but now you need people who can work within the parameters of it and so what does Brezlo do with that how's he gonna work that this off season that that's his issue we can all yell about John Henry should spend more but this is not going to but this is not where you look at two separate issues under the same umbrella one being how much money can the team spend and how is Brezlo then prioritizing the money that he has he goes out and gets gray and Suarez over Pitalonzo now I know you had Wilson Contreras the first base but you just played out like he prioritized arms over bats yep but then the next layer after that is all right what is your in-game strategy slash philosophy and can you starter who's rolling pitch a third time through in the playoffs or not we killed the the raise for that when they lost the world series because of it that one was worse obviously it was the world series it was Blake snout blah blah blah but like
that's same idea if that's what we're doing everybody talk about driveline until we were gonna puke all season long about their their approach at the plate we thought it might have changed a little bit at some point during the season and maybe that led to some of the results but it's like two different things like how does Brezlo spend his money and then what is he forced his man just to do in game yeah I mean Henry doesn't spend enough but it's not like he spent zero on the ball club so Brezlo's got to figure it out Tracy's going to do the best of what he has just like Kora had to like that that's more what I'm focused on criticizing because I think we all agree on the Henry thing I don't think there's any debate we all agree except for John I think we all agree six one seven seven nine seven ninety three seven we got your phone calls here on Jones and Keith and in two minutes let's get into well the first step of the open revolt that would be sunny gray versus Chad Tracy and probably even Craig Brezlo again two minutes on w e i it is 93 seven w e i rich shirt and leapkin layered three times super bowl champion Ted Johnson
somebody just sent me that meme of the plane heading over to overseas dropping off the socks to over T-shirts this is still take one he's very upset they didn't make October first welcome to socks over they got us two October still looking at that way sure 11 15 is your soul right to the precipice of October but it's like I was saying a rich before the show it's like every year since I've came down here it's like you know they they they start off maybe weak and then they heat up somewhere in the middle they kind of get you they tease you only to kick you in the nuts at the end it's certainly did by the way Ken Rose and I'll reporting Tory Levelle returning as diamond backs manager to your deal so there goes one of those former red socks guys that could have out there if you wanted him all right up before you take a can I just throw one other name into the kettle of blame okay sure yeah and that is the pitching coach Andrew Bailey because we go straight to Brezlo and that's why obviously more than most of I think the directive is coming from but his accomplice is Bailey yeah those are you know former teammates and they work closely together
and he comes up with the pitching plan and the game plan so I don't think that fire him I think that again they're aligned but that's a guy that you saw going around the clubhouse last night and talking to some people I don't think everybody much or he and Sonny were hugging it out after the game but uh it's just another piece of the equation I meant to ask you how like how was it after the game because you were at the game last night and uh how was it in the in the clubhouse I think they could beat so bad it was shell shocked mostly and then just the veterans who talked everybody else was just quietly packing not much emotion just uh oh boy like this boy boy do we suck you know that's a realization it's gotta be tough you know after having the summer they had right I mean it was a cloud nine and people brought that up everybody's so to mention like I've never been a part of that 32 and five run at any level I think it's hard to just rip the whole season because you had that one little nugget of beauty in the middle it was like how did that happen what went right and what went wrong then well you could I don't know can we look back and maybe go okay they
mismanaged the end of the season because they guys were sitting Trevor's story said that like unfortunately we we hit a wall in September and never came out of it and that's that's it's understandable it's kind of once it's seeps into you if you're you're not hitting good and you're not playing good baseball in the month of September I can see that carrying over in dock told well what could they have done differently I'm honestly trying to figure it out like in September what could they have done differently I mean they rested a lot of guys but it was for health reasons so I don't know what like say dawn was not the same like he had played through it what he had been better like because I do think there is an injury excuse your guys even if you know Wilson you don't want to give him let him off the hook he and Sedan were dinged up yeah definitely playing with the shirt Roman was hurt obviously I'm if I say Mickey gasp air but he's the glorified 3a guy now they didn't have judge and they still wipe the floor or or stand yeah or stand pretty much he was on the roster but so it's it's it's hard to use injuries as an excuse when you look at what the Yankees were missing but but also like a lot of those guys who you know like you're talking about
you know the you know the our injuries look at the middle of the summer I mean they didn't have Roman Anthony they didn't have Trevor story they didn't have I mean it was like a bunch of nobody's but they not nobody's but you're biggest stars were injured but and they somehow figured out a way and I just don't know like like whether just like was it a fluke you can you fluke your way in the 32 no no you can see regga season's just different than than post season it just is so but that's history that's a 15 game winning streak for the first time since 1946 like you made franchise history this doesn't happen every year mm-hmm something had to be going on there but you were an elite team you were in a in a in a season where the a l was down American Lee is not it's not that good here but they were beating the best teams well like that was the thing is that they were the best against the best teams anytime they got put up against work because I know you're absolutely right but anytime they went up against the best competition they were excellent at least you thought they were on par with the Yankees a judgeless Yankees to get beat this bad if
I mean that's just it's kind of shocking the timing I listen there everyone's gonna be looking back and trying to figure out what what right what weren't wrong but there was a little bit of a fear of once you had Roman Anthony and Trevor story back whether it would screw up some sort of awesome road like some sort of vibe that they had and I'm not saying that that's the reason because obviously Roman Anthony went healthy is a great player but man soon they got back it seems like things kind of started going downhill think about it though it's it is kind of interesting think about Red Sox regular season and then you know what they did in the regular season versus what they did in postseason what did the Celtics do in the regular season versus post what did the Patriots do in the regular season so it's kind of like it's it's a different game in the playoffs like to think so what do you do in the regular season is going to be transferred to the postseason they weren't built for the playoffs they're not built for the I mean the fun you're you're winning with a bunch of no names yeah in the middle of the summer which is a great story but to think that
those guys are gonna all of a sudden keep that play up in the postseason I think it's it's crazy let's go to Jay online one Jay what's up buddy how you doing I'm doing good well doing okay I guess after less couple nights but just you guys are mentioning like it's a great question like how what happened you know from the beginning of the season mid season the last couple nights like was it you know was it I'm sorry it's all right man yes confusing I can't figure it out stump the song pretty much sums it up pretty much sums it up I mean listen I whether you can sit here and you can go it's because the chemistry was screwed up and they had the special thing that was going I don't think that that's fair but man everything's just in that locker room right now it's not good because your biggest players are all mad at upper management and again the swing for both franchises because you had the Yankees without judge judge would have been getting ripped he didn't show up for introductions in game one yeah you might have got Aaron Boone fired like if you had pants
and Yankees stadium you could have really done some damage to their whole organization instead you embarrassed yourself they're moving on it might make another world series run like how tough is that going to be to why is judge going to be coming back for the next year I think that there's speculating whether he's going to be in there for the ALDS they look fine without them I think certainly don't man I was I was buster only I think I heard him talking to he's he's not confident that he'll be he'll be available in the next series they don't think so no that's from buster good jazz chiseled piss he wasn't dressed for the first game you know what I mean like they were stealing bases when they were up by they were a little flimming right they were house of cards and you couldn't knock over I couldn't knock him over he was just like how many people talk to will about that by the way when you're in the booth nothing I heard of okay anything like that oh let's go to John online too John what's up how you doing I feel free John I know how are you doing good buddy thank you so what if uh what if bros bot was so far in the basement that he just
gave Tracy the reins for the regular season he had nothing to lose and he wouldn't even have to take the head of Tracy couldn't turn it around but all the sudden he turns it around and it gets closer to the postseason and then he steps in to try to get him over the finish line well listen man it's a decent theory I can't I'll take all theories right now because it's inexplicable extra earlier said Theo got involved and that screwed it up oh yeah well yeah what exactly did Theo do I because remember nothing I guess so but remember he was like uh yeah Theo Z he's uh he's somehow involved in the in the in the front office right now and he's making calls and doing all that what what did he do well you went on the record and said that's not the case or the story was that ownership was getting involved right they were caught they were trying to convince other teams to make a trade back when things were right times were rough right right they were pulling Theo into the equation he doesn't like being one of the others no oh I mean there's even people in the tech saying that the media again the already started to surface when Trevor
story came back in Roman Anthony I don't know how much blame he could put into that but I do know that Wilson could traverse remember when we had him on at the Jimmy fun uh telephon we said you know Roman Anthony's most likely to come back way through whether he goes well these guys better be right to play man because we've got you know we can't we can't have them just like we've got something special going on here so who's the best player who's the red slacks best position player position player I mean when healthy it's Roman Anthony correct like they need him to be get this hand figured out like that's it that's the team I mean he's he's just a d8 she told me position played on play position best hitter I guess best hitter he's I don't think he's gonna be a good filter down the road does he look like a guy that's training towards I've had some play on stations with Chad Tracy about that he claims when the fundamentals are correct he gets his legs properly drink make you know when he's got that yeah footwork he can unleash a perfect row when he gets it made a glass I mean that's the thing he's Samuel Jackson and unbreakable sure
