I'm not just a radio guy, I'm also a realtor. I talk to homeowners all the time. And what's the one thing many homeowners have but rarely think about? It's equity. It's something that can quietly grow over time while you're busy living your life. And for many homeowners, it can be an opportunity they haven't explored.
Whether you're planning home improvements or preparing for whatever comes next, your home's equity may be able to help you. It's important to understand what's available and to find out the right option that fits your goals. For me, I wanted to put a pool in my backyard and finish my basement. I didn't have the money available. So I went to Stockton Mortgage. They found the equity that already built up in my house was able to use to install my pool and finish the basement. I would have been able to do it without them. As Stockton Mortgage, they'll walk you through the possibilities. Answer your questions and help you understand your next step. If it's been a while since you've looked into your home's value, now might be a great time to start the conversation. Visit Stockton.com to learn more. Stockton Mortgage. Welcome to our two of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. Now, here's Matt Jones. Welcome back, I'm number two Kentucky Sports Radio 8259282287. Text machine 772 7745254. What's the result of our polls there, Mario and Drew?
Uh, let me pull it up here on the fly. I have 86% in favor of the power, K. 14 no. Correct. Mario's not in any of the fly. I mean, Mario, what's yours? He had to step out. I got his right here. I can pull out. Yeah, 90% like it. Oh, the younger crowd likes it even more. Yeah, they're hit 361 votes. Wow. Smaller sample size, but yeah. Is it the the powercade just really about football like the other sports don't need to have a kid? I don't think the basketball doesn't use it. Pretty much. Well, that's, I mean, that's, you're not going to get 86 and 90% of approval on anything. That's why I was dumb to fight it for so long. Like it was a free win and you just didn't take it. Right. Yeah, Mitch often would not take the free victories, you know? Well, that's, that's so then now it's obvious why, why we're doing it. Uh, one person writes, Matt, how did you get to Wednesday and not have talked about case kingdom coming in and winning for your bears? True. That was really cool.
I thought it was really nice with his kids. I don't know why, why am I getting like this? We're, Ryan, we're like people's kids are affecting me. That's your, you're not saying that I want kids. I want to be a daddy. Drew just became a daddy. You see me with my kids. Hubby's got his kids. You want one? Do you want to see a picture of me and everywhere matching braves, T-shirts watching the game together yesterday? I mean, if you want to show me, I look at that. We call it man. We call it man's braves. That's, she likes it. Oh, well, that's sweet. But I like Justin Berlanders kid. Yes. And then case kingdom, he was like, I'm so glad I got to do this because I got to play one game and my daughter see me play. That's right. That was awesome. That's really nice, isn't it, Shane? Very nice. And like his daughter had never gotten a scene, really play and remember and he's like, she'll remember this. Yep. Give her one game. It's really sweet. Very sweet. He was pretty good. He was really good. I'll watch the whole game. I'll play it again next week. I think they'll probably play the other guy, Baygent. Yeah. What's up with old guys get it done in the NFL all of a sudden?
I mean, he's right at 40. When he took his helmet off, that did not look like a guy who should be playing for football. Yeah. I don't know. I guess like, you know, you can still get it done when you're old. Yeah. Roger's doing it. Match that. I mean, he's playing this year than he has the years before. Philip Rivers came in last year played. This is the old guys can come back. They always play these young guys. They don't do get the job done. Play the old guys. Yeah. Well, good for case kingdom and his and his daughter. Did you see the quote, Shannon from the guy on the white socks last night? His name is Sean. Sean Burke. And I guess he pitched really well yesterday. And they said, you know, like nobody knows anybody on the white socks. So like you learn them during the playoffs. Right. And they're like, why do you why have you had such a good year? And he said, quote, this is my life. I have no family. No girl. No kids. This is all I do. Wow. Sounds like the Billy Galesson. It's cool when he came here. It's cool. It's cool. It's cool. It's cool. It's cool. It's cool.
It's cool. It's cool. It's cool. But I have no kid. He's a kid. I mean, like I'm not married like, you know, yeah. But he's saying that makes him more locked in. I mean, I think that's kind of true though. Isn't it like radio is your life? I don't know, but there was a period of time where it was a huge part of my life in terms of life. Yeah, it's a huge part of all of our lives. It's our job. But I mean, this guy is acting like it's all he's gotten life. There was a time where I was too obsessed with not just radio, but when I was doing the website too, there was a time that like KSR was almost my entire life. And that is like a little unfulfilling. But at the same time, you know, if you don't have a wife and you don't have kids, you probably are a little more locked on in baseball than if you do. I think, yeah, maybe it would affect the other though. If you just, maybe a little less time away from that website. I mean, you and I talked about Howard Stern's show got a lot worse once he was happy.
That's true. Yeah, he got married to that. He got married to the second woman and all of a sudden the show just got bad. He got back. He got back to the Supermodel all of a sudden your career goes in the crapper. What's the trade-off? Yeah, I mean, yeah, I don't feel too bad for him though. No, I don't feel bad for him either. Like, I'm sure he's happier, but I don't listen to his show. But when he was like angry all the time, it was actually better. And already, he losing already was a big drop off in the show. Yeah, but to your point, I think the happier you are, it's, you focus more on other things, right? You focus more on the family. Which is better for you as a human being, but might lead to not as good. It's the Travis Kelsey thing, right? With Taylor Swift. Although he's been better. But that's what everybody, but that's what everybody was worried about before the season started. Yeah, he happy now and not be as good on the, on the field. Yeah. I mean, I don't know. Brian, you, are you, do you think you do better work when you're happy or? Yeah, why do you think Ryan does no show preppy's happy now?
Yeah, that's the problem. That's the problem, right? I'm holding hands and going for walks. I'm not breaking down South Carolina as a defense. You don't even know who we play. Don't talk about breaking down the defense. You have never broken down a defense. Big news coming out of Bullock County drew Bullock County. It's going on. It's going on in Bullock County. Shepherdsville, the city council votes tonight. Right down the road for me. As to whether or not allowed to allow citizens in Shepherdsville to have chickens in their yard. Oh, as a now Shepherdsville, you are not allowed to have chickens in your yard, but under a new proposal for every person that lives in your house, you can have four chickens. Oh, my God. Wow. Imagine you have a family of eight 32 chickens. It seems like the initial report seemed to suggest it's likely to pass, but there are people
against it. Shannon, that's your hood. Well, don't pull over. Bullock County chickens in the yard. I don't want chickens in my neighbor's yard. So I would be completely against this. Those things stink. The eggs are nice. Get free eggs and eggs aren't very cheap. But this would be not just in the country. This is in the city limits. Yeah, no. No, they should not allow that. I'm going to shock you. You can have chickens in Lexington. You can't. We talked about this. I know people inside the circle with chickens in the circle and the city limits. I think you can only have like one rooster. You can have chickens. Well, I have a relative that has chickens. We get free eggs from them. So well, now you could live in the nicest house in Shepherdsville and have chickens in your yard. It has to be in your backyard and it has to be surrounded by fence. Yes. Yeah. I sport it. You do support. Okay. In this economy, get some cattle here. Yeah. Yeah. You've been to the grocery store lately.
Get whatever you want. I want to say that I have cattle in jail. Have you been to the grocery store? Whatever you can farm on your land. Have it. I don't want to talk about it. If you're down town slaughtering cattle in the backyard. Yeah. There was a ghost that horses in a part of downtown. Tell me what you're like, pork gets you some pigs. I don't care. Do not want you to do. You do not want your neighbor to have pork. People got to live right now. Whatever it takes to get by. I got you. Yeah. You do not want that. You don't want that. You can, I do not believe you would want your neighbor to have pigs. I'll pack his whatever you need to get by day to day. I know. I'll pack his pigs. I support you. Well, so Shepherdsville, the vote is tonight. Shannon, you want to go make your voice heard? Well. I'm going to go to the chicken, one chicken for every 0.25 people in your house. I don't know if they'd let me vote. It's not a vote though. Like, it says the city council is going to be inside. Okay. Yeah. Okay. No. Keep me updated. See, that's the kind of story that if I was marrying head kids, I might not be able to find it.
I'll be on chicken watch. Just extra time. I'll use the extra time that I would use like changing diapers to find them. Shepherdsville chicken story. Shepherds takes up a lot of time. And it's worth it. Yeah. Who's next? Who's next? Who's the one who goes to those meetings? Let's go to Rick. Rick, go ahead, Rick. Hey, Rick. This is Rick. Uh, forever caller. Yeah, I am Rick. Uh, forever caller. First time listener. Okay. Uh, getting everything, getting everything backwards. So I'll field report on the power K. Draw from my Washington to Simpsonville to get my power K hat and wear it proudly and they're sold out. They're sold out everything. They're sold out everything. They're sold out on the line. Yeah, too. Yeah. Ever store she checked on, they had like one or two and that was it. She said we get shepherds every day, but they're sold out. So I think the people are speaking out loud and proud. Yes, I remember though, it gets to Etown on Friday. We'll go to Etown.
You might need to go to Etown to get it. No, I, you're right. I've tried to get, I don't, I don't have a power K hat. I appreciate the call. Um, I'd like to have one, but everywhere, well, I've tried to go get them there. They're, they're gone. I tried to order them online. I did get a power K hoodie and I think I ordered the last one from the UK team shop, Drew. So clearly people want them. Oh, yeah. I've heard stories of other people going to local stores and getting online there as our polls just told us online. There's a big appetite and excitement for the power K. Yeah. Uh, understandable. By the way, uh, no, sorry. The number of chickens is not based on how many people it's based on how big your backyard is. That makes more sense. Square footage, I guess. That makes more sense. It would be weird to base it on how many kids. Yeah, I mean, they're going to go door to door like, all right, how many kids you got here? How many chickens? Cause you, chances are, especially if it was like a adult sliver with each other more, adults living in the house, the grocer. Right? Like a house of like six. You get to have an entire chicken factory.
We're on your backyard. But no, it's based on square foot. That makes more sense. All right. Who's next? Uh, let's go to Sam. Sam, go ahead, Sam. Hey, guys, um, I had a neighbor in Georgetown within the city limits had some pigs in their backyard. And if they're listening, I hope they're, uh, getting some sleep at night. So, so the people that move in can get some sleep. Appreciate it. I'd love you back. I drew. I know you, you don't really believe that people should have pigs in their yard. Uh, pigs was a me trying to be kind of funny there. But I will say as long as you're not right up on me, I don't care what you do really. Well, my neighbor has horses, uh, Ryan. And in the morning, I hear him, I don't know, name. Yeah. Yeah, it's just a little more Lexington in, in, in, you know, these, the adults in my park, the little park. That would be hard to have a horse there. No, in Lexington, like right now, you out in my backyard, there's a whole, there
are horses. Yeah. There's an area inside New Circle of Road in Lexington where you can have horses. I know. We just said that. It's, it's right. There were horses next to my place downtown. Yeah. Right. And there's an area out on, uh, alumni that you can have some horses. Yeah. Uh, uh, this question goes to the text machine. Matt, do you all consider Denzel Aberdeen, a real UK player? I've always taken the view that if you play for Kentucky, you're Kentucky for life. But I struggle with transfers. Some of them, I still consider UK players like Kyle Wilter, but do you consider Denzel Aberdeen who came from Florida and went back to Florida, a UK player? Good question. I want to cat always a cat, right? Isn't that what everybody says? Is that true though? If you, if you go back to the rival, feels like he's definitely more of a Florida gator than he is at Kentucky player. So I think if you're a player, like I think if you're a player, Ryan, you have to be
one. You have to pick one school like how will you left us? But I think in his heart, he's still more Kentucky. He may be the only guy that I feel that way. I think my son, he's other guys that have transferred out. I don't really consider them much of a, who else transferred out? We can decide. Do we consider the Charles guy that played from Charles Charles Matthews? Yeah. Johnny Garrison. Lo, do you consider him a Kentucky player? Yep. I think anyone that wore the jersey, now if I'm labeling them as one thing, I would say Aberdeen's a gator. But like the people that when they leave, they try to act like they were never here. I don't do that. I always, they were a wild cat if they played. Is it a Macleopold player for two years? He was at practices trying to win games for Kentucky. That's more than a lot of fans can say they did. He's just as much as Kentucky's the rest of us, even though I went back, that's as I see it. But if I had to pick one, I would say gator. But you still would be like, he's like, I don't pretend that he was never a cat.
I enjoyed watching Dinsel Aberdeen play basketball last season. He saved us last year. He did. He really did. I think there's a different question between, do I like him and do I root for his success? But do I consider him like a cat? I don't know. Like, that's a good point. I think we all want Travis Perry to have some success. But see, I think people will still consider Travis Perry a cat. He's just been more Tom though. He's been a little more Tom at Ole Miss than when he's 13. Yeah, he's going to be 13. That's it. Yeah, there's something Aberdeen going back to Florida though. I agree. I don't know what it is. But he's lowly at these with them. I think we're in a weird spot as a fan base. I'm not telling people how to fan, but like we run guys off because we weren't good. And then we're like, oh, they left us. When you're the one that told him to leave, you can get her Roger Crodes a cat. I do because we ran him off. He didn't want to go. That's right. Definitely.
Like, people didn't want Brandon Garrison to come back and then when he left, people are like, you're leaving. You can't hold Brandon Garrison leaving against him when people will cut someone one of them to go. I don't take any of these personal. I didn't take Chandler personal. None of them. That's another one is Chandler. Yeah, I mean, we're going to have a lot of these in this air. We'll take a break. We'll get you to KSI. Ready to feel energized and in control again? Hey, what's up y'all? It's Questlove. And on the Questlove show, I've been sitting down with some really interesting people. And I've got two recent episodes you should check out. I caught up with my good friend, JoJo, to talk about her music, her career. What's she's been up to? Don't invite me to karaoke. I'm going to make it weird. Someone's going to try to sing, leave get out or too little too late or baby too. Oh, no. And I'm going to be like, okay, cool. Also caught up with Wallace II-Six7 for a conversation that covered his story, his perspective, plenty more. I don't even call it cheat day because of life day. I'm not doing that. And those are just two of the many recent episodes of the Questlove Show. Listen to the Questlove Show or the I Heart Radio app, app podcast, wherever you get your podcast. Peace. What happened to these guys? Zach Brown band. I don't know. I feel like they were huge. And then I don't still play in. Yeah, but everybody still plays. I mean, when's the last time they've been like relevant? I think they just did the sphere like a month ago. Yeah. Okay. Are they like the country Dave Matthews? That's not too bad compared to the Kenny. Kenny's trying to be like Jimmy Buffett. Yeah, he's trying. It's not working. Yeah. I don't know. But I feel like these guys were huge.
Yeah. This album was mega, mega hit. And then all of a sudden they just weren't there anymore. At least to me. Well, Dave Matthews band is interesting because they're, I mean, really popular, but didn't have a whole lot of songs played on the radio. Well, I feel like they did for like three years, but I don't think that have they put out a new song that has had traction in 25 years. That's what I'm saying. Like they, I think they were really popular for a few years. Yeah. But they're interesting because they are, it's kind of like Jimmy Buffett. I mean, did Jimmy Buffett, Drew, did he produce a new song in 30 years before he died? I mean, he put new stuff out. Yeah, it didn't exactly catch on to the greatest hits, but yeah, he had a new album. But did anyone, but did anyone know any of his music? Like everybody was going for the stuff way before that. Definitely. There were a few, I think there's one called Bubbles Up that people would sing. That was right before he died. But for the most part, you were listening to songs that were 20, 30 years old.
Because it is interesting groups that remain hugely popular based off their live shows. It based off their live shows. And so you think about who is that? That's Jimmy Buffett. It may be the best example. Yep. I think Dave Matthews is one. Yep. Fish. Yes. Back in the day, grateful dead. Oh, of course. Yeah. That's probably the best historical example. Yep. I feel like even though he puts out new music, he's very young, but I think that Billy Strings is really like that. Good call. And I think is that Brown one of those? Yeah, man, the countryside, he might be for sure. He's still, he's still gets good crowds. Those might be like the Mount Rushmore would be like grateful dead Jimmy Buffett, Dave Matthews and who? Fish. Fish. That's it. There you go. Yep. There's your four. I think that's the four. They stay popular because of their live shows.
And don't have to, and they put out music, but only the hardcore fans care about it. Right? Like it doesn't go commercial. Doesn't really get played on radio. What's the one who's like that is Willie Nelson? Yep. I was getting ready to say that. By your name, But well not like that and just All right, now listen, He's actually grilled Yeah. Okay. Okay. Codans. Drought. Sorry. I believe she'll muito bullish. Yeah, I came. I know you're trying to think of and I love Willie Nelson. He had that song in Toby Keith. He had a song called California sober with Billy Strings. He had 118 albums. But again, I can, what is his most recent song?
I don't think I think it's like City of New Orleans, which was when like in the 80s. I cannot think of a song he had that was big since the 80s. So, um, so maybe he deserves his own wing of the Hall of Fame for that. That's 50 years ago or 45 years ago. They put out one in 2019. But that's highway. But I mean, I he puts them out every year, but I mean, I don't know them. Did they make the charts? Yeah, 29th on the US country chart. Those people are buying. Oh, I guess. I guess 8592802287. In Louisville, you can have six chickens, but only one that grows. That makes sense. Keep the noise down. That's what it is. And like to one rooster. One person says, I feel like Denzel Aberdeen is a gator that we rented for a year. I agree with that. Drew and I were talking about break. There's, I feel different about him than I do about Colin Chandler and Travis Perry for some reason.
But he was better. He was better and he saved us. But he's gone back to an SEC. That's why I always have affinity for him is he in, I think he saved our season. He was not supposed to be the point guard. He had to become the point guard. And by the end of the year, many games drew. He was our best player. At worst, he was our second best player. Yeah, early in the year, I won't say who, but somebody was calling Denzel. Airball team. Why didn't one even fight first? No, one mean I'm saying someone in this room called him Denzel air ball. Dean was that right? I don't know. Somebody in here. However, when he took over the point guard role in an SEC play, he became maybe one of the better shooters too. He was money at the free throw line. I mean, he became a steady at the free throw line. He was so we wanted shooting free throws at the end of the game. And SEC play, especially I really like Denzel Aberdeen. I did too. I felt like when Denzel Aberdeen was open, he was the only player on the team.
Well, early in the year, I felt like when Colin Chandler was open, it was money. But then his year went on, his shooting went away. Ryan, by the end of the year, the only player I felt confident open shooting was Denzel Aberdeen. But then I got used to get mad at he'd hit one and then next trip down the floor, he'd definitely jacking it up again. He's doing a heat check. You didn't like him. That you were unfair to him. I'm looking at his game log. Starting in February, he had one game where he didn't have 14 or more points. One time. I mean, that's and that's against SEC play. Right. He averaged 18 in the NCAA tournament and 17 in the SEC tournament and took care of the ball, ran the offense well. Did a good job as a point guard. It just took him a while to get there. Yeah. Who's next? Bob and James town, a five nine two eight, oh, twenty two eighty seven. Bobby got a minute. Mad. I just wanted to say that Russell County lost a big person the other day. In my day, Hayden Phillips, he's he's a 2006 graduate of Russell County high school.
He started out early to become a first responder. Russell Springs fire department and then EMS and then decided to go into law enforcement of Russell Springs police department. And it's just like I say, it's a big hole in our in our county right now. I agree. Jay Bob, thank you very much for doing that. And also I lost a high school friend last night, which I'm going to wait and talk more about when because it just happened actually early this morning, but stuff. And we'll take a break. Beary backs KSR. TJ Smith personal injury attorney called TJ. He'll make them pay now more Kentucky sports radio presented by Stockton mortgage. Here's not Joe. So this is Willie's best song at my opinion. And this is from the thing he did with Johnny Cash, right? That's right. Yep. Which I think is the best version of it.
He also Shannon, you're a guitar player. Yeah. He plays guitar like nobody else plays. He does. Yeah. It's almost like it's a little offbeat. It is. It's a little, yeah, like a staggered style that he's playing. Yeah, but it all works out on the. But it works perfectly for him. Like you couldn't copy that. If you were somebody else, yeah. I've seen him many times in concert and I'm glad. And I went, remember I went to his 90th birthday show. Yeah. Yeah. In the box. And no, it was at the Hollywood Bowl. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Um, widespread panic. People say is a, is a band like that that people just go see in person. I don't really know them. I know they exist, but do they? What's their song? That's the thing. I don't know that they have a big song because I know they exist, but I couldn't tell you. They get big, they get big crowds. Yeah. But I don't know. Do they have a famous song? Not that I know. I'm sure somebody that's a fan is going, yeah.
I kind of think they have like, I think they have one that was like really big and people don't realize it was them. Let's see real quick. Oh, Google says chilly water. Is that it? Yeah. That wouldn't be it. That wouldn't what I was thinking up all night. Up all night is what they say. They're biggest one is, but I don't know that I know that song. Yeah. I don't either. Yeah. Maybe we don't know any widespread panic. Not that one. One person says, sounds like Drew believes if you wear the UK uniform in the sacred cloth, you're for life. Is that right? When you wear the sacred cloth. That's right. You're sacred. You're blessed. You're going to have it. I do believe that if you play Shane Sharpe, the only one where I'm like, nah, I'm not giving you that. You're not giving anyone else. But you give it to Innis. I mean, were you here? Were you practicing? Were you fighting? Were you trying to make Kentucky better? Yeah. Yeah. I watched him.
All right. I'll call Shane Sharpe, Kat. He's the one I'll hear you on. I mean, he went to classes. He attended more UK classes than most of fan base. More than me. Yeah. I mean, so can you say he didn't go to UK? I mean, he was there. I was trying to say Shane Sharpe bleeds more blue than me. I'm not. I'm not doing that. But if there's a player, I will say it wasn't a wildcat. He would be the one I would consider. Yeah. It is amazing how much of our fan base has like really no actual connection to Kentucky. Like I don't. Ryan doesn't. No, Shannon doesn't. No. Mario and Drew do. Billy doesn't. But I feel like my connection is as much as anyone. That's hard to explain to people who don't grow up riding college towns or in college areas. They're like, you didn't even go to that school. And they go, you did go to Duke and you hate them.
True. That's what makes our fan base so special. It's you know, statewide man. I think that's true of everybody that grows up in the South. I mean, most Alabama fans didn't go to Alabama. Tennessee football fans. Yeah. So eight five nine two eight, oh, uh, 2287. They're changing the rule in the NBA drew where when you drive to the basket as a player going in for a layup, you cannot use your off hand anymore to push players off. Okay. It has been a rule forever, but the reps really never called it. It will be a point of emphasis this year. If you push off with your off hand, it's a foul. I think the person that will affect the most in the league is Shay. I'll admit. Absolutely. My brain was looking at Shay pushing off while you were talking. Like really he's going to like he does that almost every single time. You can almost call it the Shay rule as they're bringing it in after a year of
everybody does it sometimes too. But Shay is the king of that. And it would it is interesting drew to see if he will suffer from that because there is no one that does that more than he does. Oh, he's the king of it. But also it's it's a pretty common move these days. They let it get out of hand too much already. I'm a little skeptical that they'll really start calling it, but I like that they are trying. Yeah, before I go to the phones here, tell me about Stockton mortgage. Stockton mortgage. I'm so glad you asked because Stockton mortgage has been fighting this, you know, the rates increase a couple about them. So he didn't have a script out yet. Well, no, I didn't know I was going to do the read. I haven't done it in a week. So you didn't give me a heads up or anything. All right. Just whatever you're ready. But Stockton mortgage is they are ready and prepared to get you pre approved. And it's an easy process. You got to supply you know your tax returns, your paychecks, your. We laughing at. I'm telling you what you got to bring to the table. Is that on the thing? I didn't have my script pulled up. You didn't tell me I was going to do the read.
If you want me to pull up the read, I can. Go ahead. All right. Stockton mortgage. In total, S8259 equal housing lender in a less consumer access. Or could give him a call back to you, Matt. Stockton.com. Stockton.com. The girl we go. Is this a good time to buy? It's always a good time to buy. I got to got a sold house last week because I'm still buying the fall. The fall market is still active. So go for it. All right. There you go. Who's next, Shannon? Tommy. Tommy. Go ahead, Tommy. Matt Toyota in Georgetown just celebrated 40 years of production. Is that a party that I congratulate? Yeah. Zach Brown and Ludicrous played the show. Is that right in Georgetown? Yeah. I know that. If you're wondering what Zach Brown was doing, that was just the other night. Yeah. Yep. Kevin. And another really good Jan Bann big concert following.
Shannon probably knows a miss goose. Goose. Yeah. I think they just played one of our festivals. They just keep coming up goose and geese. I feel like those are bands I'd never heard of till six months ago. I appreciate the column. We've talked about them four times over the last six months. Yep. Jan Bann, nobody can name one song. None. There are no songs for goose. So how is Zach Brown Bann and Ludicrous playing up in Georgetown? And nobody heard a thing about it till right now. Well, I mean, the people there probably heard about it. Where do you actually know that someone says that I heard a whisper that that was going on? Where do you think they played exactly? That's gonna read ask, where do they play? Oh, I guess that guy would have known. Why were they played? I think they played at Toyota. Maybe. Outside in an area outside maybe the plant. Hmm. I mean, you can like, you can get ludicrous anywhere. But Zach Brown, that's a big get. The internet says, Reparina. They say, I guess they went out of up arena. Yeah, I'm looking at pictures of it.
Wow. When was this? Just I heard about it within the last week or two. So I'd say very recent. So Georgetown, Renad out, Reparina brought in Zach Brown and ludicrous and nobody knew. I'm looking to TikToks from it right now. First I'm hearing of it. Maybe we're just out of it and everybody else knew but us. That's wild. Well, good for them, man. And 40 years. I mean, that the Toyota plant in Georgetown transformed this area. What are you laughing at? I thought you were going to say transform like music at Reparina. They transformed. A good company. No, it transformed. I mean, it did transform Georgetown for sure. It did and that's why I'm pushing for them to just come over to campus. Slap a logo on UK things. Let's keep this partnership going. Yeah, I mean, it's a big brand that we need for what it costs to bring those people to Reparina. Shannon, they could have sponsored a uniform patch, right? Yeah, absolutely. They could have. They could have what was next. It's good to Madison.
Madison, go ahead, Madison. Hello, Matt. How are we doing? Doing good. I have one or two questions for you. One is what surprises are y'all looking for in big blue madness Friday? If there are any. Yeah, I have no idea. I haven't heard anyone talk about anything. So I don't know. But go ahead. And two, what's a percentage chance that Shane Beamer last through Monday, if we beat him on set? Well, I think I heard that his bio goes down $7 million on December 1st, right? He'll finish the year. So he'll finish the year. I mean, I thought he, I would have a, until I knew that, I would have said he would get fired Monday if we won. But his bio goes down $7 million. So Drew, I would think they let him finish the year. And after us, they've got a month of just games. They're very unlikely to win already. You probably just let him eat all those two to let it pile on for you.
Let him go. Yeah, it'll be, it would be fun though to like officially end it. Now Kentucky football, we've got, we've got a list of, we haven't got a lot of people that we've ended their careers. That's what South Carolina. And for the South Carolina Florida coaches have seen their careers in with us. Yep. Big blue madness is this week, which means it's time to get your face, game face ready. How are dad searching for his son? It's probably just having a great time. It's about to go down with Owen Wilson, Matt Rife and Travis Scott. Come outside. To the night. Take your time. He'll take his mag to God of you. No, no, no, no. Hi, honey. How's everything going? Oh, everything's going pretty good. Rolling loud the movie tickets on sale now, now playing only in theaters. Hey, what's up, y'all? It's Questlove. And on the Questlove show, I've been sitting down with some really interesting people. And I've got two recent episodes you should check out. I caught up with my good friend, Jojo, and talk about her music, her career, and what she's been up to. Don't invite me to karaoke. I'm going to make it weird. Someone's going to try to sing, leave get out or too little too late or baby to you. Oh, no. And I'm going to be like, okay, cool. I also caught up with Wallace 267 for a conversation that covered his story, his perspective, and plenty more. I don't even call it cheat day.
That's a life day. I'm not doing that. Don't try to be slick and just go Sunday. Go Wednesday. This is what you do. Sleep later. Make a reservation for the rest of our lady. Just chill. And those are just two of the many recent episodes of the Questlove show. Listen to the Questlove show on the I Heart Radio app. App the podcast. Wherever you get your podcast. Peace. So this is widespread painting. Yeah, you were telling me that their biggest song is called Coconut. So here it is. It sounds like Dave Matthews. It does. It does. Yeah. And this is called Coconut. Yep. This their big song. But I mean, the thing about Dave Matthews, they had satellite crash into me. Ants marching. Ants marching.
Like they had some big song. So much to say you were saying the biggest song you see from widespread panic. Just has like a million views. No, this one has half a million views. How are they so popular? I don't know. Like nobody's here to listen to their music, but they go to their shows. That's interesting. Yeah. Quite a business. It's a great full dead had that one song. Touch of gray. Right. And that song probably has millions of views on YouTube. What's the biggest we've talked about this before? What's the biggest fish song? I couldn't tell you. I don't know any fish songs either. But yet I know that you don't give those groups credit. People are talking about jam bands. Do you consider the almond brothers of jam band? I they had songs though, right? They had ramblin man. Just go. Yep. I mean, they had in or at least a couple of songs. Garth Brooks does not count people who keep people keep riding. Garth Brooks is one of the biggest country stars of all time. He doesn't count. What about Eric church?
He does get bigger crowds than I think he was big drew. He's been quiet lately, but when he was hot, he had a great run. He also had a lot of number one. He's a huge record here. He just played it up last fall. I think it was and it had a big huge crowd that night. Talda go. Yeah. Yeah. So I don't think he counts either. There those those guys are too big. But by the way, a guy tweeted out yesterday, get Spotify, Apple music are all about to end. AI music is going to take over the world and no one will care because it'll be just as good if not better. Do you agree with that? No. So you want your music to be by a person? Yes. I kind of do too. Yeah. It's like if you're watching a movie, don't you want those people to be real people? Or do you want them to be AI? I think I do, but I wonder if young people will feel that way. Would it put it into these concerts we're talking about?
If it's everything's AI, well, I mean, think about how many younger people like house music, which doesn't have any like it's it. That one's singing that. Hidden buttons on a laptop at a concert. Yeah. So do you think if you were listening to words in a song, you would want it to be a human being? I do. Yeah. But Mario, would you care? He says he probably would care. I'll admit, there are some AI songs. I like, I don't want it to be the case and I prefer humans. I don't want AI to take over like that. But if if you hit play on some of them, I'm telling you right now I'm bobbed my head because they're good. You wouldn't know the difference. Yeah. Yeah. That makes me sad. I like the crossovers, but they'll take like an old song and like say it's a rap song. They'll make it like slow jazz. Have you seen these AI apology songs that are becoming popular? What does that mean? Like it, let's say you're, you know, you're you messed up with your girlfriend or your wife or whatever and you're trying to say you're sorry.
So you can go to this website and then plug in all the details about this person. Okay. But do one for me. Can you do or play one? When you got to buy them, you got to buy them. That was what I'm saying. So it seems like I'm sorry. I cheated on him. Maybe there's their name specifically. You could put in all the details that you want this song to include. Doesn't matter what the details are. A buddy of mine had this. He brought it over. I'm going, you're, yeah, she was crying by the second verse and we were all good. I feel like they can be like, you can't be human enough to apologize. So wait a minute. Your buddy bought his girlfriend. This was wife. His wife an apology song. They get into a big fight. He yes. And she cried. Yes. He said he put it on for you. Said by the time we got to the second verse, she was in tears. That's why. And he said it made up and we made up and everything was good after that. But he didn't do anything. Well, I guess he cared enough to reach out to an AI to make a song for him. But it made something worse. I mean, I mean, something to hurt. But you can't apologize yourself. You had AI apologize for you.
I guess he couldn't write a song himself. So we got AI to it. That is that that is crazy to me. It's like smile tunes. Smile tunes. Yes. Huh. Yep. That sounds awful. I hate it. I hate all of it. Customs. I saw that video of the president with all those AI people. And I was just like, can we just get all of it? Oh, yes. I have people. I've stood up. I'm not calling it. Yes. And no one else is either. This is wild. You go on here and it says, who's the song for and just get all these different options. You click it. I know you can make one for like anniversaries and uh-huh. It says, what's their first name? You type it in. Details where you met. Not the one in the song. Yeah, exactly. It's this world. But wouldn't the person on the other end be like, can you not do anything human? Like for my first three or a college, she cried in the second verse. That's crazy. So it's like mad libs, but a song. It is. Yeah. Unbelievable. Who's next? Jim Jim. Go ahead, Jim. Good morning, guys.
It's good to get to talk to you and thanks for what you do. Appreciate it. I got a couple of compliments. I want to provide you this morning. First, I want to say thanks for the delivery system that you have for the show. I'm I've been bowling green Kentucky. It's very otherwise. I'm a first time caller about a two year listener. So the way that you make the show available gives me that opportunity to listen to it. And so anyway. And then the second compliment I want to provide you is you guys are in take this the way it's intended in a very positive way. You're like fruit salad. Okay. What does that mean? Because you've got so many different textures and ingredients. Okay. And all of the personalities that are part of your team that make the show so enjoyable. Absolutely.

Thank you very much. And that is the goal. You know, that we are like for different people. We all are friends. And then you throw in Billy and Mario. It's like a different. I like the mix. That's why when people sometimes say you should add this person. You say it's not about those people. It's about the chemistry of the group. And like sometimes I see somebody and I'm like, okay, that just works. You're the only podcast that I listen to and was certainly knew about Ryan Limon living in in Somerset, Kentucky for 26 years. Uh, I'm the apple. Why? Cause apples are old. Not a word. That's what makes me what does that even mean? I couldn't think of anything. Apples are old pasties little crunchy, but soft inside. Yeah. I'm an apple. Soft and soft. We're going to have a little you know, like a no she apple. He's eating a rock. You're a rotten apple. Ryan Limon is an old rotten apple. What's it? What fruit are you? I don't know. I haven't really thought of the analogy. He's the banana. I'll just leave the banana. I'll just leave the big banana. I'll just leave it with you.
