about it all. How you doing without further ado? We bring our man in big C Zander Krause joins us now. How you doing? What is up big sales? How you doing, brother? Hey, if you got any word on bond so far? Now that he was in the protocol. So we'll see if he's ready to go. It's not not typically an easy thing to get out of sales, you know, that quickly. So not looking good for bond. But we will see I still optimism. He'll be out there. And boy, if you don't have him, that's going to be a lot of this week, my friend. So we'll see. I agree with you 100% by that. Just heard you talking about Vic. He's getting a little odd if there's pressers. He's getting a little. Hey, no, Patty. Did you notice it, man? He was. Yeah. One word, one word answers. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Because I found out this for you. You're damn right. I found out this morning, right? I had no clue that ball was not there yesterday. I heard you. I saw you how shocked you were. I couldn't believe it myself when I heard it. Well, no, I just didn't know. I didn't

see it either way. I don't follow it during the day as much as as much as, you know, I get updated, obviously in the mornings and stuff. But yeah. Zach Bond concussion did not practice. Hollywood brown ankle did not practice Dallas God or need did not practice. Fred Johnson need did not practice. The Vante Smith did not practice hamstring. God Campbell need. Oh, that popped up. Left practice. Jordan Davis calf left practice. Maro Jomo calf left practice. Chely Carter wrist full practice. Jonathan Gennard peck. Oh, man. Full practice. Byron Young. Perth toe. Full practice. Teams teams, you know, an interesting spot right here, tough early adversity for sure. And obviously, tough opponent this weekend. Does Nick have answers?

Let me ask you a deeper question, Mr. Howie Roseman is the CEO. Did how we build this team properly the last year and a half? Coming off the Super Bowl, you could look at the entire list of decisions that have been made. Spence the Eagles paraded down broad street. How many of them are good decisions? How many of them have led to the Eagles having successful years? Now, there's no winning. So I'm not saying that it's been horrible. But you're talking, we're talking about a lot of personal issues. We're talking about linebackers not looking to go to my sage. He's not looking good. We're talking about offensive line depth. We're talking about a depleted receiving group now, don't tell you them what's the step up depleted tight end group. I don't know. I mean, you know, it's football is cyclical. It has been since the beginning of the league start in 1920 or whenever the hell it was. It's a cyclical game. And I'm not, I don't even say to crap on howie, but it's almost like he was due for

like some down years because maintaining a roster that long is very tough to do. And you look at it. And then I think there are some bad decisions that were made as well. I really do. And to your credit, you've been shedding light on them in the moment when they've happened. And I think we've given a little bit more of a leeway to howie on him making those decisions. I certainly have well, but I do think 52 and 19 you do have to temper some of the things that are going on 100% I agree with it's too early to be like, Oh, it's bad. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying, you know, some of the problems that we have. Are personnel related. You know, like. Coaches aren't going to have answers if coaches don't have the right players. Sean Manion might never have an answer when he doesn't have a tight end when Johnny month and 36 rolled Zacharyts are his tight ends. Again, another thing that you said. That's got it's going to miss games. He said that before the

year, Mrs. Games every year. So what are you going to do when he's not out there? Well, they got hurts. You know, who might have who's who's meet might be falling off the bone on that left on that leg and the me but to go over the boat. I don't know. So I'm just you know, I'm not I'm not ready to shit on howie. I'm just saying, I don't think he can skate by free and we can say, Jaylin and Nick and Sean and all these other guys, you know, I do think the one thing that you have to give him. Credit for that a lot of GM's won't do. You miss on regular, what do you do? What you go sign a free agent and you go get AJ. You miss on Andre Dillard, you go and you get a guy and McIe back and put him at right guard neck. I turned out to have a great year for you and help you in a Super Bowl. You don't really do a great job. My old Sanders is okay, but not great. He wanted it upgraded. He goes out. He gets barkly brings them in. Jaylin Phillips, you bombed on Bryce Huff. So far,

Nolan Smith doesn't look like a first round pick. What do you do? Get Jaylin Phillips? You go get Jonathan good art. What he does do is he's proactive and if he sees something, he sees something like this. See? And if something's not working, he's going to go like this. Go get me Kenny Moore. Now some of those are, let's wait, some of those are pandates. You're right. You're right. Some of those are pandates, but you know what you want your guy doing? You want your guy taking swings at the plate. If your team is good, you do. And they're good. They're not. here's, here's where I want to ask you something about Nick again, talking about having answers. Zander, do you not agree with chip manion as your offensive coordinator? When you go chip manion, you tell me this, don't you agree? When you see these coaches go, Hey, Zach Hertz, I want you to block on a bubble screen. Or I want to throw a bubble screen to a macaque lemon. Or I'm making a personnel decision by putting cam durgans at left guard. How do these offensive coaches not know the personnel and who's in the game? Why would you have a 36 year old tight end blocking on a bubble screen? For a guy who's a slot receiver? And he's not your, you're blaming that on manion? I'm blaming that on the collective group? Yeah, I agree. Like you said, all what again, it does know highlights

the personnel issues. Every, every offense that runs this offense that they wanted to run has tight ends a lot more than one of them. The Eagles came into the year with Goddard and month, month was the number two, not the number three was the number two. That was not a good enough group. And now you're asking Zach Hertz to block the block on bubble screens and they can. Which is uncool. Which is uncool on him, man. Um, what do you think has the advantage going into this game on Sunday on the, um, any lines here? Aaron Donald, Kobe Turner, Brandon Fisk, Puna Ford versus the Eagle O line. How do you feel about that? I think that's a pretty good line. Obviously, especially anything. I think that's the best group you'll play yet so far. Interior. Yeah, probably. I mean, they don't have the upside player like Jeffrey Simmons was, but they have a better collective

Yeah, correct. Better better three. Um, yeah, I think I probably give that to the Rams right now in the interior. I mean, did you see that they're they're rating the Eagles? Well, highly again, on the FF, what is this? What's that? Well, they second board. Fourth. I guess it's because they do like individual and then they add it all together. So like lane protection has been pretty decent, hasn't it? I guess. I mean, I wasn't that good last week. No, I don't see that. At all. Those metrics don't add up here. Let me go over to the offensive side. And in that same PFF, the Rams, I think we're ranked seventh or eighth as an offensive line. They're offensive line, which is a top 10 offensive line. And one of the top number one of total offense heading into this game. Big Saturday today, outside of that fiasco down under last three games, they put up 500 yards of total offense. How do you feel about that group? He's going against with Vic and how they're playing? And by the way, I do agree with this. I think that evil defense is going to play

better Sunday. Now, excluding the conversation of bonds not in the middle of the field. Yeah, that's going to be a problem, because you already have a mismatch there with the safety. So mean, you know, Sean's going to be attacking those guys all over the place. So I'm puking and koo is supposed to be back to. So the only one I feel good about is whoever gets whoever's lined up on Quignon. All right, they'll probably be taken out of those place. But other than that, I have no idea. You think they go single coverage with McDuffy on. On Monday. Shula man defense guy. I don't know. I don't know that I'm going to have to look at that because that means he would travel. Yeah, right. I don't think he's going to travel. I see that's what I'm saying. I mean, would you put one guy or would you double smitty? Because I'd like to see that battle between McDuffy zone pattern match scheme rather than struck man to man zone. It's a fan. Yeah, well, that means Smith, he's going to have a good day. Underneath. He's a big fan. Yeah, it's the scheme falls

under fangio and stale. He's coaching tree utilizing zone coverage is cover three cover six or defenders initially dropping his own areas, but match receiver routes after the snap as if they were in main coverage, low blitz rate, dime packages, situational man coverage. It's a big thing. It's like big. And McDuffy is the highest rated corner right now. I think in the league. Yeah, so that he is. He is the highest rated corner in the league. Yep. Zander, where are you? Where's your optimism? Why are you optimistic? I had people last night on my ex account. And I'm not I'm not talking about your fan. I'm I'm saying, why are you optimistic that you know, it's early or still things to be had. We still don't know a lot about this area, that area, the defense. I do think you brought a great point up two days ago, you said this that defense traditionally gets out to a slow start and ramps up as the season gets going because it does. Where's why are you optimistic on it? Well, I think you named it on the defensive side of the ball. I mean, I think they've earned some of the benefit of the doubt. And

I want to see what they can become later in the year. Part of it, the optimism is simply because I don't want to write any team off in week three, you know, Eagles or anybody else. And I think you have to give yourself a little bit of time to find your rhythm and acclimate, especially in the league that we've played in the league that it is today. There's no training camp. That's that's intense. There's no preseason. There's none of those things. So I think you have to give it a little bit of time. And I've been intrigued by Jalen. I thought the first two games he looked awesome. Obviously third game is a different story. And I think Devon Day has elevated. I think Don Tavion Wicks has looked good. God, it looks good when he was healthy. So I think the guys on the outside have looked good. And that's giving me some optimism. Like going in a week three, I felt good about Wicks. I'm like, man, Wicks might be a guy, you know, they he might be better than guy actually. He might be a good player. Doesn't mean he's a superstar, but a good player. That's where my offensive optimism lies. They also ran some successful run plays last week on the outside zone. And that

first half kind of got bottled up. But so maybe that gets going a little bit more. And then, you know, my concerns are really the interior of the offensive line. Number one, and then how many games is linked? You know, so it's like, I think that's probably the other area of minor concern, just like because the interior is struggling, like imagine if Lane misses games again. And Fred sort of like, huh? And Fred sir. And now you're going to have Mark Elbele. Hey, maybe Mark Elbele turns out to be a good player, but I think it will take him some time. So my concerns really are on the on the line. I mean, that's really where they all boil down to. And then some of the other things that I think are a little concerning, which maybe we've turned blind to eye two is almost like the exact same. Now, I know it's the pistols stuff is not the most important all the time. But like it's literally the same as last year, like someone sent me a guy, I think it was Prince on on X Prince, you sent me that graph of where jail and her to store the ball this year. It's like 19%

of the middle of the field 11 reps 11 throws in the middle of the field. It's amongst the lowest in the league. To the middle of the field. Now, it's maybe an uptick for Jalen, but it's amongst the lowest in the league play action success, lowest in the league. You know, motions way up, but what does motion really mean if you're not getting right, if you're not getting in better positions, and defenses are not fighting on it. Right. So I think some of that is is a concern because it precedes this year. Anything that's new this year, I'm in weight and see most defense defensive line. Stuff like that. When you have an interior of an offensive line that struggled last year and now struggles this year, I'm concerned about that. When you have, you know, a thin tight end group last year to this year, I'm concerned about that. So those are the things that I think are concerning. The reason for optimism, I won't lie to you though, to be blunt is the team's been so good. Like every year, the team is good. I mean, I talk to

these people, I talk to family members, I talk to in laws that want to talk about the Eagles, all the conversation is always just, well, the Eagles just are good. They've been good for the last five years. And until they're not good, I almost have to be like, well, let me see, because when they're not good, they win 11 games. I mean, there are how many fan bases out there would be like, yeah, when we're not good, we win 11 games. I mean, the Eagles got shit on last year by this fan base. Shit on. And they were in 11 to win team. Now, there was a lot of reasons to shit on them. But there's not many teams that get shit on to that level and win 11 ball games. So it's a winning organization. And a division title. Right. And a division title. And they always put themselves. If they put themselves in a chance to win, I think you can never count it out. You know, they, like I said, you know, we were talking about baseball before. And you're, yeah, oh, you're gonna get that. Like you're you're in it. Go in the game. You know, I don't care who's better right now. You're in the playoff game. That's how I felt last year. That's how the 49ers played us. I don't care who's the better team. We got to win one game in the playoffs to

advance. So I think he was going to get in. They'll get in. And who cares what the records are? If they get in and you have a chance to win. And that's where you got to turn it on and play your best football, just like case keen on a day in September, played his best football. Alright, so that statistic that prints at you. Who are your middle of the field players right now? Well, it was gotter and week one and two. Hope a lot. Okay, well, lemon was supposed to be correct, but they appear to want to use him behind the line of scrimmage on the line. Okay, and they used the botte a little bit over the middle. I've had some crossers. And that's really it. Wicks, I guess they had like a cup. No, they didn't have anything to add many over the middle to him. I thought they had only throw over the middle of the wicks I can think of was the was the meatball sub that Dalton threw in the back of the end zone. Hey, um, so when, when Sam Darnold threatens in the passing game, it's with

JSN across the middle of the field, right? Okay, it's unreal, by the way, when the 49ers want to do some damage, they go to kettle across the middle of the field. Correct? Yeah, Pukin, it goes a slot receiver, right? He's all over, but yeah, okay. So if you want to be a middle of the field team, don't you have to have middle of the field players? Yeah, and I think gotter was that early, but he doesn't say healthy. I mean, correct. How can you rely on building an offensive attack when a guy misses 24% of your career? You can't. I mean, you don't have middle of the field. You want to be a middle of the by the way, I'm not even blaming hurts for this. I'm not, but I think I think it has to eventually come back to her because and I'm not not even in a critical manner, just in a manner of his style doesn't use the middle. He doesn't want to throw the middle field that much. You know, I don't think he does. He can he's affected what we're going to say, but in a volume perspective, I don't think it's going to happen. Okay, so the

quarterback doesn't like to throw the middle of the field and the organization's not getting middle of the field players. Correct. Yeah, maybe that's maybe that's okay. So do you think that's going hand in hand? Like the quarterback, they're building the offense to the quarterbacks. So they're not going to put because like this in Jalen Hurtz's entire time as an offensive passer in Philly. Have you ever had a slot receiver? Not really. They had quiz lockings and they had dots and now they got lemon. Yeah, you're right. Not a real winner in the slot. They've all been perimeter players, right? Wise and easy. Yeah. But I mean, it's, you know, they had AJ Brandon wanted for the last four years. There hasn't been much changed. No, no, but, but if we're going to talk about middle of the field and that's where you win ball games, you don't really throw with personnel. You don't have personnel to like exploit that. Goddard is a really good player, but I think he's been more one of the more under utilized guys. And then when you expect Jalen Hurtz to throw across the middle of the field, or

here's a quarterback doesn't want to throw across the middle field. Any organization doesn't get middle of the field players? Yeah. How could you be six? You know, where Stafford throws a ball, I middle of field. Stafford throws all over the place. Yeah, I mean, they're not, they're not this ball, you m offense that's going to move the ball at that, you know, for that level. I mean, at least they haven't been in the past. They were, I think one game. So if you can't, yeah, they threw the ball 37 times, I think in that Titan's game. Yeah, right. And that's where you're too. I mean, Jalen was pretty successful in that game. So, um, no, no, where, no, I mean, look, they had a bad half. I mean, bad, really, that half, but a bad half, I mean, I'm not, I still want to give this offense some time to develop and find its rhythm and build on that. Like Jalen spoke about it again yesterday where there is new concepts and new things and we're implementing these things and being successful while you're learning those is a challenging thing to do. So I think you have to give them some leeway. Like I said, you earlier, though, that's where some of my concerns come with like the stuff that was a concern last

year too, you know, because even with the new offense, even with the new makeup, even with the new cosmetics, as you said, you know, it's still a lot of the same problems. So those are where I think the concern should lie, but everywhere else, I mean, I do want to give it a little bit more time here. I think I will say this. I think this week and next week and even week of the six, I think there's going to be really, you're going to I think there's going to be really good games to learn what this team is made of because the Rams, I think we'll score some points, especially the defense doesn't play or plays like they have played. I would imagine they're going to target the line backers. If there's no ball on, I mean, that's going to be trouble because trotters already limited in coverage. And Campbell hasn't been great in coverage. Now, I think maybe we'll help you in the run game a little bit. Maybe it'll be an improvement over for that. That'd be tough to say. But so they're going to target those guys and then the safety's have been putered. And I got news Kenny Moore has played 100 snaps in his career at safety. He's not playing safety. And you know, the other thing

I'm wondering too is, is Cooper D'Jing going to be as good of a safety as we think as boy, we all slot him there and think all right, safety's fixed. We don't know that. It's a different position. I don't know that Cooper D'Jing can drop back there and play that position at a high level. I used to think he could. I still think he's a great talent player. But I don't know. Can I just say, oh, yeah, move coop back and safety's fixed. I don't know. I don't feel like I could say that. You know, Xander, there's one thing that I have a hard time wrapping my hands around what you just said. I want to give this offense more time to develop and learn. Jesus, cry of any man, we're in year seven of Jalen Hertz's career. We're talking about allowing an offense to mature coordinator, get his footing. Aren't we way past that as well, you know, when you say this, I'm sick of the conversation being the quarterback in the head coach, the quarterback in the head, aren't you sick of saying this? Well,

I want to give the offense a little bit more time. Yes. I mean, we're this is your seven. We're saying that every year now. Yeah, but I think I think to be fair, you do say that about every team. Like look for, but I know Matthew, but I know who staffer you know what they are. But have they needed time to figure it out this year? Well, I know what they're going to try in their concepts. Fixed it today. You know what fix said about him? They don't do anything different in the run game than they did four years ago. They just do different. They have different people. He said that today in his presser. He goes, do their run games the same? I don't do anything different. That's four years ago. Those guys aren't doing. Big Banjo getting caddy with the media. Dude, I saw that man. I'll tell you what folks, he's getting short with him. And he's giving you one word answers now because he got called out in a second question. Like it was like, how about the 41 year touchdown? And he goes, yeah, what's it mean? Is it maybe a disdain for the organization? No, he doesn't want to rip his guys? Doesn't want to be questioned? Well, the

fastest way was reading his own head long. Listen, the fastest way not to rip your players is to give short answers. And that's why Nick Suryani gives short answers or gives long word salad answers. I thought Jalen Herzitz was very interesting things today that a lot of people may be missed. Yes, but yes, but yes, excuse me. Yes, we're not. What was what was the line? We got to get on the same page. We're working through things. The communication going back and forth has to be smoother. You know, is there a communication problem between manion, Nick and Jalen? Well, I don't think so, but maybe I mean, it is a weird system. Like it's an odd system to have a non-play calling offensive minded head coach.

But he's not. He thinks he is. He's not, but he's offensive minded. So he thinks, yeah, right, he thinks he is. Yeah. So it's like, it's kind of an odd system to begin with. But remember, I point everybody to the human element of Nick because I know everybody will shit on Nick and I'm not saying no emotional. Emotional, but think about it. Nick Sireani does have whether you like it or not, a pretty good track record right now of success. Yes, as a head coach. Yes. So to to to allow Sean Manion, a guy who's never called to play in his life until this year, come in and just say, yeah, you have all the control. Like, that's like you, that's like, that's like you saying, okay, yeah, you're new to content. You can take over my show. I'll go by you be like, fuck you.

You know what I mean? So it's like, I'm just, you know, I'm not saying that Nick is above criticism. What I'm saying is the human element of that system in a way is flawed. In a way, it's flawed. That's why when I thought when I heard like what what Seth said, who I saw, I saw he had mannerism at your reaction coach is funny. But I'm like, if if this is what's happening and people are unwilling for Nick to have control, then Nick should just be fired. Yes. You know, why is he the head coach? Right. Because he's the head coach. You you you you kept them on as the head coach, he has decision making. And if he doesn't have it, then I think you're making it worse. So making it worse. You know, I think this whole catch I think catch brings a good point. Like there is on that track record of success. There is also track record of failure, especially with offensive corners and especially with offensive success. So I do think that has to be added in too. And

then you have this like extreme success, extreme failure. Where's the truth going to fall? You know, yeah, absolutely. Yes. And that's my problem with why I always ask you. So get this in here. Some fans in here want Nick Sireani to go stand in a corner. Well, then what the fuck's his job? Well, he's not no getting in the corner, especially not for a guy like he's not. Yeah. And he should. And no, I you know what? I am not a night, Nick guy, but I will defend this. It's his boat. He's the captain of that ship. You don't want that captain get a new guy. You can't have it both ways. It's a very I will say this to it the front office. The other the other the other tough parts are interesting parts about the way the Eagles are run. And not a criticism, just what what they are. They are very analytically driven. There are not many football people in the front office. They are not football type of guys.

You know what I mean? They're very analytics. They are kind of book book book book guys book nerd type of guys if you will. And sometimes that that seeps over into you know how the team is run, especially when you have a head coach like one of the downsides to Nick being politically savvy is he's going to play Kate. And if you play Kate, you know, and everybody's got to say, then ultimately you end up play Kate and everybody will never creating your own identity. You know, and I think that that could be a part of it as well. So I don't think that's good when it comes to trying to find yourself offensively. I don't think you can look at every offensive progression through an analytic lens. You can know if you have a great half of football, the analytics are going to look great. If you have a horrible half of football, the analytics are going to look bad. And I think you know, it should be used, but it shouldn't be it shouldn't be overtaken. And I do wonder just myself mentally wonders how much does that play

in Nick's area and his head and in his job. How much does he have to answer to that? How much does he have to take that into account? How many people do he has does he have to satisfy with that? You know, the organization is kind of built that way. Now again, it's worked. I'm not criticizing him. I'm just saying, I do think it creates some tough work environments, you know, where Nick, I don't even know if Nick feels like he can just say to Sean, well, Sean, this is what I want to do and run it because he's got the game. Well, why'd you do this? And why'd you do this? You know what I mean? And I think that might that might play into, you know, maybe the lack of confidence they have and putting their foot in the sand and going one way. You know, I mean, think about being bailed on their offense set. That was ultimately very successful in terms of the team. They bailed on it, you know, maybe it was offensive line or maybe it was the analytics guys. I don't know, but I do think it plays a, I do think it plays a role. You do not develop anybody coaching wise

because you're an analytics team. That game on Monday was an analytics loss and indulge me here. The reason you don't have answers when you need them is because you're relying too much on what the front office tells you when they give you a game plan, here's the analytics to beat the Rams. You sit down and you look at like that fourth down. Nick doesn't believe in what they're doing. That's why he's not going for it on fourth down. Nick gets all the plays or all the plays that the Rams run analytically from the front office guys and Lori's kid. Then from how he's side of it, how he gives you the personnel that's going to play to play Kate and fit that. Then Nick's got to build a game plan with Sean Maine and to kind of go out there with the analytics that you were given from your front office to be able to approach your game plan against that Rams. This is why Ben Johnson and guys like Kyle Shanahan run circles around you because you know why they look at the analytics as a tool not as the end all these guys look at it as the end all and when the end all doesn't work

Xander near looking for answers. They don't have it. That's why they're not good in situation play calls and that's why you can I show him, man, he's showing me and drawing up a circle and drawing up a play versus play calling a play. Bro, they love that style in the front office and Philly because you know why that goes into the analytic side of it. You can't develop coaches this way. You can't develop continuity and I think that's one of the things that Jalen was talking about yesterday when he said we've got to have a better operation and running together and being able to match things up and run the run game. It looks okay out of right now the run game's over here, the past game's over here and you know what got Hurts doing. Hurts is trying to hold the thing together like a tug of war and it's almost in you're putting the quarterback in such a tough spot because the run games over here the past game is on such a wild side over here, bubble screens, Hurts blocking and screens. What the fuck? Jalen's in the middle of this and he's got to put everything

together and when you got too many roosters in the headhouse talking and trying to figure out what's right that's why the offense looks chaotic a little bit. It also makes it very hard for Jalen. It also makes it very hard for Jalen. It's impossible for him to get better as a player and progress in his career. There's no doubt about that. Prince is right. The offense is confusing. It is. I don't know. You're right. No identity, confusing. I don't know what they're trying to accomplish. I don't handle. No, I don't handle. And when you're going into a Rams game like this, dude, the Rams have to have that game and the Eagles kind of have to have that game in a way. You know why? Hey, that's a bad moment. That's not a bad science to come. You've got to come. You're locker room in your organization down a little bit because that was you guys respect them on eight. I coach wise, player wise, execution wise, effort wise, all of that's yet. That's why when you get them in front of a press conference, all of a sudden you got Nick giving

short answers and Vic giving short answers and you're like, wait a minute here. You know what the interesting part about this is though the Eagles front office gets a lot of a lot of praise and rightfully so they've been very successful. But I don't think this organization would ever be able to have again what people want. Like I know people are like, I hate Nick because he's not a play calling head coach and you say he doesn't do anything. A lot of people agree with that. I don't think they I don't think they could do I don't think they could live the other way. No, I want you guys to think about this. Think about this organization hiring Ben Johnson. They would combust and would look at look at how we in Jeffrey and Joly and in the analytic design and say, I don't care what your opinion is. I'm building the football team how I see fit. I don't know if the Eagles organization can handle that. Well, there's one way that you can get Ben Johnson as her head coach. You know what that would be? Fire howie. I disagree.

Well, Ben Johnson's not going into a building without what somebody else telling him what to do. Dude, I'm telling you right now. You ain't hired to got like Ben Johnson as long as I was thinking you're wrong about the head of the snake. It's all okay. Okay. The head of the snake is not howie. Howie operates beautifully within it, but he is not the head of the snake. Not in my opinion. So they've never hired a head coach with any former head coaching experience whatsoever? Well, no, they hire they hire head coaches that I mean they used to do this. They used to have Andy. They used to have... Well, Andy wasn't a head coach before that. No, I know that. They don't have yeah, former head coaches. No, but they used to not be this hell bent on their system. Correct. And then it changed after Andy. I've said that I've said it. Actually, it changed after Doug. It changed after Doug. I've said this before. K-Strike says it in the chat. K-Strike, I don't know if you've been listening to the show while I used to say this owner has PTSD from Chip Kelly.

Think of it like the Eagles are Jeff Lurie's baby. Chip Kelly took the baby and dropped it on its head. Not once, twice, three times. And now Jeff Lurie doesn't want to hand that baby to anybody else. So we got a guy in Howie Roseman. That's a confinon and his right hand man. And he trust them. He trust them with the money. He trust them with the personnel. He trust them with the implementation of their analytics. He trust them with how Jeffrey Lurie believes the organization should be run. And Jeffrey owns the team. I have news for everybody. He's entitled to do that. But I do think that's created now. Like, Doug wanted a coordinator and they fired him. Chris Taylor. A coordinator. So for anybody that thinks that like I saw someone just now in the chat say we need a play calling head coach. Well, I don't disagree, but dude, it's not happening in Finland. Because play calling head coaches have control of the law. Exactly. And, what else? And guess what else the personnel decisions and hiring of assistant coaches.

Because that play calling head coach is going to want his style player. Right. And that needs that kind of clips. Howie a little bit that clips the hiring of personality. 100%. And that means that I guarantee Ben Johnson. I guarantee you Ben Johnson has more say on personnel than how the next reality does. And hiring of who the assistant coaches. Yeah, agreed. Agreed. 100%. 100%. Now, again, we say this. I don't want to. I do think we have to like some people will say, well, is the owner of the problem? I mean, listen, they're very successful team. Well, I think we're just pointing out some of the intricacies. No, we're pointing out where he is. We're pointing out where he is. And but I think it's the intricacies too of like, this organization is run a certain way. It has a lot of pros. They've been very successful. Four pros. There are some things. Right. There are some things that that are on the other side of it that I don't think give them as much leeway as people think. Like, again, I just said it with

the play calling head coach. I think people should flush that because I don't think it'll ever come. And if it does come, he'll be controlled like Nick was at the beginning. You said something that may give me one of the greatest Nick Suryani topics of all time a couple minutes ago. And you said something that I never thought, and you know what, you're right. I've been going back and forth with with Seth over this. And I wonder if you agree with this. The emotional state of Nick Suryani. How much do you think that affects the coaching on Sundays when you see how emotional he is to a point where sometimes it's childish. And if he's childish and acts like a child on the sidelines, why wouldn't he act like a child when it comes to authority on who has say over play calling and over who has the authority to move the sticks and put a game plan

together. If you act like a kid on the sidelines, why wouldn't you act like a kid in a teen meeting when it comes to putting a game plan together? Hey, being in mature and being emotional, there's two different things there. And at times Nick looks like he's both at times on the sidelines. And that's why you have big dumb on the sidelines. They're kind of making sure that he's controlling his emotions. No coach in the NFL has a bodyguard or a door man or somebody they're watching him and his emotions. I wonder, Zander, you just said something to me. Yeah, that's a bad recipe dude. Emotional decision making is a bad, bad, bad recipe. And he shows times where he looks like he's has bad emotional moments. Indianapolis, Kansas City, Chicago. I mean, if you're acting like that, like a kid in public, what do you do? I do think there's always going to be some nuance. Like there's going to be some some, you know, but do you understand where I'm going to be?

Yes, yes. And inherently, inherently emotional people will always think more emotionally than people who are not as emotional. That's that I think it would be, generally, would be correct. But yeah, I mean, is that a reason that they don't give him more power? Maybe. I mean, is that the reason also people are saying he's in the way of manning? Hey, for me, that's kind of like, I don't think he's in the way of manning. Yeah, but you know, when you think these problems aren't, and this is where me and you just think he has an ego. Nick? Yeah. Yeah, but I also think that I do. But I think he, I think he is committed to what it takes to be the head coach at the Eagles. His way. No, they're way. So he's a mouthpiece for them. Oh, I mean, in some ways, everybody that will be the head coach here will be. I'll tell you what, when I, when I see emotional leaders,

I saw Jalen Hertz on the sidelines for the first time in his career. I didn't recognize the guy. I don't know. From the outside, Jalen, Hertz is the only dude who doesn't have emotions. No, but, but Monday night, I saw it a little bit like, like him trying to galvanize and bring together. And I saw him like for the, like, I saw him get emotional. Like, not, not for Jalen getting emotional is like this. You know what I mean? I mean, you can see like, but the way, I just, I just think it's probably my favorite part about Jalen. Yeah, he's stoic. Yeah, he's just, he's just cool and calm. And you know that that's one of the reasons I think he's so good late in games. He's so good. And the direct opposite of the head coach. Yeah, completely, completely opposite. The coach could go off and stand on a, on a, on a, on a bench and scream at people in Kansas City. The head coach and the quarterbacks and a go get the fuck down. Yeah, but that's why I think that's where I do think this organization does like

Nick because he, well, he is committed to doing it. In my opinion, the way the front office wants it to be done. And whoever, whoever's delivering that message, I don't know. Maybe Jeffrey Laurie got smarter after I got reported that he's scoled the dog Peterson after winning in Lambo because he ran the ball too much. And maybe he now sends it through other mouthpieces. Maybe how he roseman has become in mouthpiece. I don't know. I don't know how the message is delivered, but I do think Nick knows, you know, how to operate within their system. And I think that plays into the way the offense is wrong. Like I said, but we're all positive together. Like they're not going to have a play calling head coach, right? So in theory, they're not going to have a head coach that has as much control over the offense as everybody here thinks Nick does. If you think that, then I think those orders are coming from above Nick. One of the most important questions you can ask anybody about a head coach. You think he has emotional control to be a head coach, and this league?

Do I think Nick has the emotional control? Yeah. Well, I mean, he's won a lot. So I do have to give him that credit. He's been successful. This is not a guess, right? He's been a successful coach. But I've said since they hired, I mean, it would definitely not be my pick. I mean, I would never hire a guy like that to be my head coach. And I know fans are sometimes some fans like it because they're like, oh, he's like a Philly guy. I'm thinking you don't want to get like a Philly guy. No, I want to be emotional. I don't want my head coach being emotional. I'm maybe emotional. I'm an emotional player. I want a guy that I can look at. When I look at him, he comes the waters down, man, and makes me feel good. And the reason I asked that question to you is because, you know, dude, you have to be the answer guy. And I think Ben Johnson, man, I'll tell you what, you know what? This is right. This is right. You may be dead. You may be dead, right? And you know what? They turn around and they wax the rams on Sunday and all this bullshit that I'm saying

goes out the window. But I'll tell you one thing I saw Ben Johnson do. That guy's emotional, but he's controlled emotion. Nick looks a little unvery controlled emotion. I agree with that. I agree with that. Prince says, so why don't ask why it looks the same as Andrew, no disrespect. Non-take it, Prince. You're good. It's football conversation. We will just keep blaming Jalen her. But the one thing I would wonder about that is how much of their analytical approach is based on, right? Like think about it, Prince. 100%. Think about it. Jalen has a lot of turner members in 23, right? And then they take the ball out of his hand and they have great success. Now all of a sudden the analytics are saying, well, don't let Jalen through the middle of the field or don't do this. And now you wonder is the offense devised whether it's analytic guys or not? It is. Based on what Jalen is putting on tape and what the analytics are saying about it. It is. But that's what I think it could be. That thing that Prince sent you with 19 throws across the middle of the field is a prime example what the front office thinks of Jalen hurts.

Dude, they build the analytics for this coming Rams game with not with a small approach to go across the middle. And then Prince turns around and goes blame Jalen. It's not blaming Jalen. That's how they see Jalen. They see Jalen hurt. See, Prince sees Jalen hurts as an elite quarterback in the league that can do anything. And because he's a good talent, he is a good talent. You know, the Eagles, how they see him? They see him as this. Very athletic, smart, great leader, limited in the passing game when it goes across the middle of the field. We're not going to build a team to throw across the middle of the field for him. We're going to build a run game while the run game start to fade a little bit. And we just look at it. They look at him. How about this, Zander? The Eagles look at hurts differently than the fans look at him. I think probably something with with hurts that I would that I agree with you now when I didn't

in the past or at least I think we I pushed back on you in the past on it. And I think I'm wrong on is I do think the organization, whether you call it Nick or how you're however analytics department, I do think Dave hindered Jalen Hurtz's development as a player. I do think Dave now that I don't why because I don't I don't think they're putting I don't think they're allowing him to grow. I don't think they're putting him in the environment because they think they know what's best. Exactly, exactly. Exactly. Exactly. Instead of instead of going through growing pains, everything is analytical driven. And everything is well, this didn't work to go to this. And I think that's created. It's almost put a put Jalen in a box a little bit. And yeah, I mean, I was right. Remember that comment by hurts. Hey, listen, look at the hires. Zander, what's the fastest way to put a quarterback in a straight jacket?

Have somebody who's limited in what they didn't know? Because he's going to have a limited playbook. If you hire a guy with a mass playbook, I know, listen, I got it. It's as backwards. Listen, but it's but it's couldn't listen. If you hire a first year play collar, it's never going to play collar. I think the thickest book is four pages. How big do you think a play collar is like a Brian Dable or anybody else? And also you're missing the other big thing too. How much power will they demand? Oh, line coach, uh, uh, passing coordinator, they're saying the guys they hire don't I mean any power because they have no credit. They have no like no resume. And it really does look like this. And to Prince's point, hey, have they done a good job since 22 and developing hurts? No, they've actually gone the other way. And so now Jalen is in a position in his seventh year with lesser talent to try to bring it together. Boy,

I'll tell you, dude, I gotta say, I gotta say, if this season continues to go the way it is, they failed that quarterback big time this year. Well, stills, I mean, now they write the ship on Sunday. Okay. Well, that's that's the problem like with this conference. Like we've had this big grandiose conversation, right? Now now you go, all right, well, how they winning so much. You know, and that's what someone listening will say. And I wouldn't disagree with that because you do have to reason the two things. There are problems with that what they do. There's problems with everything you're going to do. But at the same time, they are winning at this supreme rate. So it's like, are they right? Maybe they're right. Maybe their system is better than the other systems. The Eagles are winning more than your favorite play calling head coach. Whoever it is, can I think about that? Okay. Here's here's why I think they love their way versus the Bellicic Patriots way. Here's here's why I think you're going to have more longer term success with more people

in the front office having a say than one guy having a say because that one guy when he runs out of talent like Bellicicic did in New England, he becomes just another coach. But when you have a guy that's constantly turning the roster over every year, every year, every year, making you dude, you're not turning Bellicicic's roster over every year like that because you're just not and you're going to how he's doing this, how he's moving this guy around, how he's moving this guy, how he's seasoned. Hey, we're going to do this. We're going to pay this. We're going to do this. Do the face of that franchise is not Nick Seriani or Jalen Hertz. The face of that franchise is how he rosemaking. It is. That is definitely true. Well, I mean, Jalen is the on field face obviously, but but sure, right? Yeah, sure. How do John Schneider is the face of the Seattle Seahawks? You think Sam Darnellis? Jays ends up in the face of that man. Right. There's very few places that run the same way. Look,

you said wait, listen, listen to this because after all this conversation, Martin says is, I see Jalen telling his agent, let's go elsewhere. No way. Oh, no, you think about it. Shit. Okay. So wait, as long as how he rosemates in that building, I believe that guy's going to build a football team around me. I don't think Jalen is a person without, I think Jalen is supreme belief in himself, whether he's right or not. Yeah, but that's irrelevant. If you go to a place like the Jesse, I just know, manager, bro, Jalen's not going to win in New York because New York doesn't know how to win. You're missing my point. Okay, because he's not. Jalen deals as better. They are stunting his growth to to placate to whatever their their guys or their organization, their analytics guys. I thought when he matters, winning does matter. What you ain't going to win in New York? Could he win in Houston? Yeah, he could win with it. I think Nick Casario, if I'm Nick Casario this all season, I'd rather have Jalen hurts than CJ's rub by far. Oh, what do you think?

I would make that move twice about that, you know, heartbeat. In a New York minute, I'd make that move. You think it distinguels completely self-denisting. It's really ugly. You think hurts with the land of a trade at the end of this year? No, but I do think Jalen knows like they didn't give him a contract. Like, he there's no, he knows that. It's not like Jalen's like, oh, you think Jalen and Eagles are in a good place? I wonder that. I wonder that. I wonder that because he's clearly been, he's clearly, he clearly has made it known. He hasn't been happy with everything. He hasn't been happy with the coordinator turnover. He was not happy with the quarterback coach getting fired. Hence why he posted the picture with Scott Leffler. He's clearly was happy the way they handled AJ Brown. That's a great question. Do you think hurts one and AJ gone? Here's what I'm, here's where I before I answer that. It was almost like the Eagles never sided with one of the other.

It's like they let it play out and they didn't pick one side or the other where we came out 1,000 percent on the side of Jalen hurts. They never really said anything about, well, it's in the best interest that we move on for me. They just did it and they never really went. I never felt that they were really 1,000 percent. Hey, we're with our QB here, man. If both guys contracts were up, I wonder how that would have. Yeah, I don't know that Jalen's ever felt that from them. Honestly, I mean, remember, even the year he got paid, and this is, I think Jalen deserves just a ton of credit for this, but you guys got to remember it. Like, don't rewrite the story. They were toying with Jalen the year before that. Yes. We had DeShawn Watson on the phone. They had Russell Wilson on the phone. They were ready to bench his ass and move on from them. Yeah. That's what I was saying. His credit said, fuck you pay me by putting an MVP season up in 2022.

Like, there's dude, the guy still talks about an almost every interview getting benched in Alabama. He knows everything they're doing. He's not a dumb dude. He's not a dumb dude. And the other thing I would disagree with a lot of people out there, I see so many people, I don't know where they get this, but so many people don't think there would be a team willing to pay a bag of money or a big draft pick, big draft haul for Jalen Hertz. I categorically disagree with that. There will be an NFL team that will pay an arm and a leg to get Jalen Hertz on their football team. Look around the league at Kooterback's guys. The Atlanta Falkers pay is horrible. Atlanta Falkers pay Kirk Cousins 48 million bucks back in the day. He didn't do shit there. You don't think they're going to pay that guy 55. And they'll trade. They'll trade a, I think they'll trade at least the first round pick for him. So I'm just saying, I do wonder like the question you just asked is probably the one that's most pressing right now for me.

How does Jalen feel about this organization? How does Jalen feel about the way things are being run? The Eagles probably don't give a shit because they have that aura and that ego that they can do it with or without. That's how they feel about Nick. It's how they feel about Jalen. It's how they felt about dog. It's how they felt about Carson and Folls. It's not going to be different with Jalen. No, no. But the question would be is Jalen has belief that he can win at this level somewhere else and he's no longer interested in playing the game that the Eagles are playing. I don't know. I do think it's I do think it's a fair conversation. I do too. Vic versus McVague this time around. Here's what Vic said about him. Very talented. Offense is exceptional. It's a well structured team. He goes, they got tight ends to die for and what she was telling people they're going to threaten the middle of the field. He thinks that again that you know this Rams team is a little bit different this year.

The Vante Adam still has it. He's one of the best receivers in Profitball history. How do you feel about Vic going against McVague this time around? Well, actually, Vic has been good versus these types of guys. It's the guys like Ben Johnson who take on the different approach who've gotten Vic even last year. The Bears got them. Those have been the guys that have really gotten the better of. I even think back to a 2024 game. I think it was the commanders who ran the ball all over Vic Vandria. The two Bears games obviously. I feel better about Vic against the scheme. John has not been able to get the better of Vic. Vic has kind of had their number. So we'll see. I think Sean to his credit is not as stubborn as Vic. So to me, Sean will look at what the Bears just did. To me, Sean will look at where the Eagles offense defense is struggling and trying to exploit that.

Whether that resembles his offense or not. Vic is not going to change. That's my biggest grade that's Vic, but I get it. He's got to his, you know, I'm not going to tell Vic what the fucking do, but like how I don't get how like last week pissed me off because it's like, how do you come off a week where a defensive coordinator legitimately just gave you a blueprint on shutting down Ben Johnson. Ben Johnson on Wednesday of that week at his press conference said, I am losing sleep already to face Brian Flora's this weekend. That shows you what Ben Johnson is preparing to play Brian Flora's obviously. He's still got fucking stoned. Yep. And then you come in, Vic, Fanger, the very next week and you don't take any of that philosophy, none of that approach. You sit back and you let Case Keenam slice and dice you for four straight quarters of football. Like I know I'm not Vic, Fanger, and I'm not saying I am.

But how do you like how do you not take something from that? Yeah, I know. But you're not adjust a little bit to handle that. I was an artist. I was floored. You know, that thought that pisses me off. But again, Vic's an old salty dog who's not going to change his ways. No. So we'll say I think it's going to be a great match. I'd rather have I'd rather people with conviction that people that waffle. So, I'm going to ask you a couple of while falling to me is not the same as adjusting ability. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to ask you this on October 1st and I'm going to make sure that we keep addressing this moving forward. Now that we're at a September, could this be a possibility of what's happening to Cuperdizine and what's happening to your defense? Last year you're one of the worst football teams on third down. Last year you're one of the worst football teams on getting off the field on third down himself. Your run defense was not very good. Time to possession. All of that were just so bad last year. And Kevin Batullo put that defense

in a bad time to where by the end of the year against the 49ers and the 49ers made that defense look like a shell of itself. Could that be carrying over now with all these three and outs with this personnel here and now on October 1st? We're seeing the Chip Kelly factor that this defense here right now because of all these three and outs. It's catching up with this group like it did with that group with Chip Kelly back in a day and which ended up costing Chip Kelly's job because guess what happened? Remember what what was the number one thing that started happening to the Eagles offense? Yeah. They were in the blue tent. Look how many blue tent guys you have on offense right now. Well, that's where you want to talk about this and you've got to blame that there has to be blame on the offense. I don't care if it's Jaylin Nick, Manian, it's totally the offense. It's totally the offense. When you have this many three and outs, dude, that's going to impact your damn defense. That net dude even in this game in the second half

that the Bears had that long ass drive. Remember they went up 20 to seven. Eagles come out three and out. Defense is right back on the field. Yep. For another long drive. I mean, they were guests. So I think you're I think you're on to something. I'm still a little bit in weight and c-modal defense where I think they can turn a corner. I think they get better. But they aren't where your right is. They're going to need their offense to hold up their end of the bargain. They're going to need it. Nobody, no defense in the NFL man is going to is going to hold up when your team is having four, three and outs in a half. It's just not it's not going to work. So they have to hold up their end of the bargain. Let's look at the de-guys that are on the injury report. Bond, Campbell, Davis, Ajomo, Carter. I'm not going to count Bernard because he's not been here, but five of your 11 starters are on the injury report. Now obviously variations in injuries, but

do five dudes for a football team that traditionally covets the fact that they love to be a healthy team? When does it get to the point where you're like, okay, wait, man, all these three and outs are starting to wear out and you're already thin at certain spots on defense. I just think you're starting to see that. I think you're starting to see the team because again, about this interview go out there again. Shitty didn't practice today. We'll see. Hold it. Cow. I think I mean, I don't know who this boy. You better hope that you know how they are though. The ego's going to explain it in the weekend. Yeah, you know how they get this though. You got Zack Bond and you got smitty not in that game. You might as well line up temple. I know temple. You got to be kidding me, man. Hey, temple looks not too bad this year. Manion versus the the Rams. What do you make of him this weekend?

Well, Chris Shula, you know, is a good defensive coordinator. So we'll say I think the advantage goes to go to Shula. I think that the players are bigger concern here for me just because you mentioned it. I mean, everybody's talking about Donald and talking to me wrong. Donald's a big part of this, but at the break and fist can play. At the Pune forward can stop the run. Everybody it's so funny when they signed Pune forward and I was like, I like that signing. Everybody in this chip. Oh, look at that. They're talking about Pune forward to shitty red. That guy can stop the run. That guy stops the run right now better than Jordan Davis. Yeah. And he's a third of the price. These five 11. So that was a good signing for them. They have braiding fish can get after the quarterback and they have obviously Aaron Donald. That's where the game's going to be going. I mean, if they can destroy that interior like, you know, other teams have then could be a long week. But we will say, Jaylen better get that ball out quick as we. I love my boy Prince here, man. He liked he liked he likes his game this week against Stafford.

But he didn't like the game last week against Case Keenum. Hey, I was a little more I'm more nervous about Case Keenum than I am at the Stafford. Got it. All right. Where I will give where I will say that man that that Ben Johnson is the real deal right now. You know what I think also is really bad for Nick. That guy got I mean that guy Ben Johnson made Nick look like he was a high school football coach. I'll take the high school football coach at St. Prep at your at your school there. That guy's name wrote and I think. Yeah, I'll take his ass before I was a prince called the game. He said that the Bears would win. Roken, broken Tim Roken. Good coach, man. Great coach. By the way, I think they're nationally ranked again. I think you guys are nationally ranked. Don Bosco is up there big time.

St. Thomas Aquinas is up there. A couple teams in Texas are up there. Hey, one last thing here is Andrew. My big dog with with Seth. Do you believe Seth? And what he's saying that Nick. Nick is in the way and the reason that they put him up in the booth is because Nick wanted didn't want Sean Mainon to have any kind of influence on Jalen and that Nick wanted to have more of a communication with the head coach with a quarterback head coach on the sidelines. Do you believe any of that? I mean, sure, but I would ask Seth. I mean, would he let some rookie come in and run his entire show? It really doesn't make sense because it doesn't it doesn't. I believe him, but it doesn't make sense because it's like, all right, you don't want the head coach to have control over the team. Again, if Seth, if you want Nick to be fired, then that's fine, but that's the take. You know, Nick is the head coach of the team, man. Like,

you know, I don't know what people want. Again, you cannot like them and want them fired, but that's that's where you get it. I was my take. My take was this. Hey, that may be true. But then again, you're telling me you got a Judas somewhere that's telling you that Nick is in the way. Oh, yeah, that that is clearly true when he covered that up. I mean, I'm yeah, what did I, what was he saying? He was like, I didn't say I got it from inside the I didn't say I got it from inside the building. I said, what do you get from what does he mean? Who do you get? No, what I said was he would you get it from a guy at the Wawa with a Slurpee? What'd you get it from? No, but did he answer? Who was he? Like was it? Yeah, he was an organization. Who who was he? No, he answered it by saying I can't be involved in anything like this or hurt my brand and all or some shit. And I was like, bro, you're the one that said it. Yeah, but who who would have the authority to speak on that who's not inside the organization? A reporter? Yeah, DeGone somebody like that shit. Well, DeGone's sitting right next to him. I mean, that's not.

Yeah, well, DeGone can't say that because DeGone does get the access. Well, DeGone's buddies with Big Don. Oh, so I know that DeGone used to work on with Jacob. Yeah, he's buddies with Big Don. He texts Big Don. So Big Don's telling? I don't know. I'm not saying Big Don is telling him. I'm telling you what I know about that situation. If it is DeGone, who is, I mean, that my DeGone's on the show. Why doesn't DeGone just fucking say it? Yeah, I'm like and I'm with you 1000% Xander. If it's true, then fire the guy. I mean, just fire Nick. I mean, fire guy was 50 doing 19. Go ahead and fire that try. I mean, do I don't know anything for sure, but I'll say this. If it came from DeGone, which I don't know if it did, I don't either. My bet would be it came from Big Don. Wow. So the guy was on the sidelines with the head coach as the bodyguard is saying that Nick is in the way. And by the way, you're not saying. That doesn't sound.

That doesn't sound accurate to me. No, it doesn't. So that means that Big Don. Big Don is more loyal to the Eagles than you bet your ass. Yeah. That guy's not going to throw Nick under the bus. Even less, unless Big Don knows. Well, you're right. Unless the ownership is telling him that shit. Yeah. Unless ownership and somebody's telling him up, stairs and saying, Hey, this guy's under the hot seat right now. That could be. Wow. What a, hey, that tells you about a little toxic culture, though, you have inside that room. And that's not a good thing to have heading into a Rams game. Is it? Oh, who knows? Hey, I'm going to tell you. Big Don to Nick, the classic Michael Corleone to Frida, you're nothing to me now. Not a brother, not a friend. I don't want to know you or what you do. I want you to tell me when you're coming,

when our mother's here. Yeah. And so I won't be here. Yeah. And he causes the door on the check, too. And he has Michael Corleone. Hey, big Z. I'll tell you one thing. This is the funnest year so far out of the gate covering the fillin of the Eagles. I see. So all the bonus years are. Oh, yeah, because you know why? It constant content. These people tonight, quit. That we got Zach Bonwatch. Holy shit. We got Devante Smith watch. Remember, man, the first four weeks of 24 were ugly. Yeah. And then it became boring because we don't, me and Xander were doing this as the post game was coming on. We were going, why don't shity ugly when? Because they're killing teams running the ball. They're not doing it. And till they rip off 11 and a row or some shit like and everybody was starting to do this, right?

And I was out of now. You've got this. It's kind of like sea-sawing a bit. You think this game here right now is a pivotal game in the year? Yeah, thoroughly for that. I think we'll learn about the team because they're back against the wall tough game last week. You know, good opponent. I think you'll learn something, but no, it's not pivotal. Last one here. So if they get blown out, it signs of things that. Well, see, that's a different question. Okay. Depending on the outcome, I think could determine how pivotal it is. How about if they lose a close one? Yeah, they'll be dead. I mean, it's a good team. You know, you're not playing. It's foots. See NFL, you know, like dude, you can lose games like Eagles fans do this and I'm guilty of this too, right? We think we're going to win every game. You should. And then they lose one game and you're all fucked up. And it's like dude, even if we're great, you're going to lose some games. I promise. So we have this ability to

like make every loss seem like it's the end of the world probably as we are right now with the bears. But the way you lose a game. Does change the perception naturally, right? If you lose to the bears and a nail bider, that's a different talking point that week. Then if you get B27 to seven in case, Keenam is the MVP. Okay. So let's see how it looks. If they get blown out two straight weeks, that's that's that I think even Prince might be in here wondering what's going on. I know. Hey, Hey, Xander, last one here, this thing here with so Philly 500 sends me a video. I posted it. It's got already 80,000 views on this thing here. I said, hey, Seth, so let me get this right. Somebody in the Eagle organization told Seth joiner that the reasons Sean Manion's in the booth and not in the sideline is because the head coach wants Jalen Hertz and LC that have one on one conversations and don't want them to have one and one conversations with one another.

So someone in Eagle organization is a Judas to Nick Seriani. Question mark. This is a massive statement. If true on how toxic the organization is, you'll take your things out of context. You take he says something like you think of my content. I'm like taking your content. I'm just taking your words and you send them against your junior. Take it. Is that what he said to you? You're taking his content. Yeah. The last you guys might all have gripes with big sales. The last thing you can ever say about big sales and then he needs to take content from somebody. Hey, I was like, what? I'm talking about the Eagles for four hours a day and fucking June. All right. I don't want to hear that. I don't want to hear that crap. Hey, and his one when he blocked he ended up blocking me. Seth joined or blocked me tonight because he got caught in the lie about the Eagles. Oh, you're not. Why not about it on next now? No, no, no, I went like this. I go. He's worried about his word. No, he, uh, hey, so he was worried about his brand. More so than answering the question.

So he blocked me and I was like, okay, Seth, you don't have to answer anything when somebody calls you out on it because I know those vaginas over at WIP aren't going to question you on how and who gave you that information. So I'm like, hey, hey, hey, hey, man. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, Zander. I don't know what's going on. Don't fuck with me like that. I know what's going on. I think it's something big. See, this is going to be a one whale of a football game on Sunday. I can't wait. Brother, I appreciate you more. Oh, how about this tomorrow, Mike North. Wonder what he's going to say about that. What do you mean they beat the ever-living shit out of us? He picked them too. He said, I even with case kingdom, they're going to win. See, unlike Prince changing the narrative, because of course, he went with case kingdom heading into that game.

Mike North actually said I got the I got the bears on it. So oh, super. Let's do the supers, dude. Here's my super. Ready? Yeah. Are the 2026 Eagles ass cheeks. Well, if you think, hey, I feel about my nine prediction. I'm not going to criticize you for it right now. Yeah. Okay. After my super, everybody. I don't I don't think yet. I don't think. I don't think yet. I don't think yet. I think it's getting there. All right, here we go. Let's get to some supers. All right. We'll get the supers. Here's Mr. Hill. What about Mr. Hill? Stills, your takes are good, but in Andy's defense, Banner never gave Donovan Whiteouts. No, he did. No, he did not. I'm very often wondered how Donovan would do with a roster like we built.

Oh, God. He'd be on the way through for five K with AJ and the monkey. He would have been a whole friend. I don't know. See, tag says the head coach is getting exposed. No answers schematically. No leadership or culture. This attitude of the team falls on the head coach. Well, I agree. You're the head of the snake. You're the head coach. You want to talk about leadership culture, mentality, attitude, all those things? That's the coach. That's the coach. I coached. You're telling me, wait, are you guys telling me the team that we just played on Monday night hasn't taken on the personality of their head coach? That's two years in a row. They out physicaled us, outmand us, outclassed us, ran the ball down our throat and beat the ever-living shit out of us. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely true. Here's my boy catch. What up, catch thanks for the $20 Super Chat. Grout that we appreciate that. He says this shit runs downhill starts at the top.

Oh, your owner has been the most successful owner in Eagle history. And you have to start there before you start here. I'll let count sometimes your Eagle fans do this. They start with their feet are right now instead of looking at the collective since the last 25 years where you've been. I mean, of all the teams in the NFC, what team in the NFC in the last 25 years would you put ahead of the Eagles? What team where? In the NFC. No, NFC. Would you put ahead of the Eagles in the last 25 years? In terms of success. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe the Rams. Maybe the Rams. Maybe. Maybe. And I don't saddle maybe. Let's go to AI. What NFC teams in the last 25 years are the best in the NFL?

Let's see. Number one. Green Bay Packers. Number two Eagles. That's win percentage. Yeah, well, I'll take the Eagles over to Packers. See Hawks have the strongest 15 year peak. Yeah, it's Eagles. It makes Eagles. Last 25 years, your owner has been the most. It's not the Rams. The Rams aren't even in this. Listen, the Eagles have been the most successful franchise in the NFC in the last 25 years. Yeah, who are the only other teams with two Super Bowls? The Giants. Giants. Giants. Giants. See Hawks. See Hawks Rams. Rams have two one in St. Louis and one in. Yep. Yep. Okay. Green Bay has not in 25 years because far of one net in the 90s. Giants. Eagles. Sam Fran has it once since since when the 90s. Yeah. Holy shit. That's where you guys better be chirping these Niners, man. They're like Cowboys land right now. Yeah, it's

sea Hawks. See, I think it's the way the Giants have been relevant in a decade. Yeah, right. That doctor, that doctor's footing a little bit. Packers. Packers wanted 10. That's right. Yeah, but they won one. Yeah, with Aaron. Yeah. Right. Yeah. You guys got. Let's keep Rome. Come, move those. What's up brother? Thank you for being a member for 25 months. Is the owner's son still the head of the analytics department? I don't know if he's named head of the analytics department, but he's definitely in there. I believe he is. Yeah. Yeah. Here is Martin. We got that one. Martin, thank you brother. Martin says I see Jalen in Houston. CJ is awful. CJ is trash. I've been saying that for years, but I really want to listen to me. First year, he had a good year, but once again, what was my always my favorite take? Don't ever draft an Ohio State quarterback. Yeah, it was. It was. You said that. Here's Martin. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Hertz is from Houston. Correct. He is a Houston guy. That coach, that coach, that's go football down there, right?

The channel view. Yep. Here's in term, the worst case scenario is Nick and Jalen move on from the Eagles next year. And we never find out who the problem really was. Nick Simps lucky. Do the Eagles are going to always be successful as long as long as how he's in that building. They're good, man. They're good. Tanda, are you a, are you a dusty Niners fan? I didn't know this about you. Tanda, come on, Tanda. You got, yeah, Tanda, you got to get a W in the 21st century before you start talking heavy dude. Holy shit. That would doubt. Here's Caled. Give me B. Jean Robinson for Hertz. Sun the up. No way. Quarterback, quarterback, running back. Not thank you. Vikings Houston Indianapolis. I see Jalen in wow. Those are, that's Martin Perez. There's a three. He'd win and he'd win in all three places there. He would, and he would win more in Houston. But you know what's happening, Houston?

That offense has worn that defense down the same way you're seeing the Eagle defense get worn down. That's what you're seeing. Yeah, I checked it out. Looked at the numbers. How come the Viking defense is better without good knowledge? Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, they're, the Vikings are, are very successful in, in a lot with, with linebackers and guys, because they bring exotic blitzes. You know what I mean? So they're, it's a little bit of a different system, but I, I get your point. DC for life says yo sales and Dan. All right, that's two sales. You know, Cowboys almost snagged Kenny one more from the practice club, but now got Joey Porter Jr. from the steal. What you making that deal? I mean, I like it, but is it a big difference? Is he real good? I mean, I thought he was having major problems. Isn't that what Pittsburgh didn't want to pay him? But I will say this, Pittsburgh's done a lot of trading with the Cowboys recently and the, and the Cowboys have made out the better of them. Who's the other dude they traded? Not Pickens. They traded Pickens and one other guy. Who's I think a first or

second round pick? Who was the other guy? I thought they, I thought it was a 23 draft pick maybe. So who am I blanking on it? Am I wrong? I might be wrong. I think it was just Pickens. No, it was Pickens. It's now Pickens Porter and there's one other guy. I know it. Come on. Come on, Cowboys. I do. I do. I don't, I don't, I don't, to your point. I don't know how much of a gigantic impact he's going to make. Tackle. That's who it was. Broderick. What's that guy's name? Yeah, Broderick Jones. That's who it was. Was he the first round pick, second round pick? I don't know if he's doing anything, but he got traded there. All right. One more super. Kyle, what up? You think it might come to a point where Hertz tells the front office is either I'm going or Cereonis. Not because if Cereonis goes, nothing's changing. That's what people got to understand. Cereonis does go. How do you think Hertz will deal with that?

I need everybody to understand from our segment today. You might hate Nick and that's okay. If Nick goes, it's not going to change that much. They're not hiring a play calling offensive head coach who has total control of the offense. Frank, right. I'm telling you right now. No way. He's like that, got Frank, right? Well, because Frank, right, we'll play their game. Correct. And you know what? He's one, a Super Bowl ring here. Underdog said, I'd rather Hertz stay in the division so we can book two W's. Oh, wait a minute. I got one for you. Wait. What about Hertz went to New York with the Giants? Oh, that was fucking so. I would not be happy with that. The New York Giants.

Hell Eagle, bro. Shut your bitch ass up, Eagle, bro. Jalen to the commanders. Some morning. Jalen to the commanders. Wow, they got Jalen. Yeah, I got you. Jalen Hertz in New York. They make a trade. They end up getting Jeremiah Smith and they have Malik neighbors on the U.S. What about Jalen? Hertz to the Dallas Cowboys. Oh my, and Dak goes to the Eagles. Dak is somewhere else. I don't know. No, you know where Dak would go? Pittsburgh. I'm going to, I think, I think Dak's headed to Pittsburgh next year. What's Aaron Rogers retires? He's going to go to Pittsburgh because why? Mike McCarthy's there. How he's not sending Jalen inside the other cities. No, he's not sending him in with team in the end of C period. You think the Phillies win tonight? You know, you know what? That's like asking me what my wife's making me for dinner tonight.

I have no idea. I mean, I have no idea, dude. I mean, that team is so health or and you are such a very, you know what has happened to you. Sandra tells me he's a Yankee fan. I'm always happy winning the American League East. No, I'm not. You don't want to, they just, they just blew out the fucking Red Sarts two games in a row. You look like you sound dumb. Really good. It's not the, so what is that? What do you win a cup? What are you, Kobe? That's a two-end job job. Hey, wait, hey, what we win a ceremonial Cippy Cup for beating the Red Sox? Hey, congratulations. You beat your nemesis. Great. Where's my Cippy Cup? Hey, man, I want World Series titles Jackson. There's a thing called Monument Park. You know what it's called? That's what the legend requires. I'm not saying, I'm not saying you're wrong about that. Aaron Judges not the long. I didn't say I was happy. I said, have what the Yankees.

They just blew it in their hands. Aaron Judges does not belong in Monument Park. I tell you why I like the end. That's a place of champions. I'll tell you why I like the Yankees issue. That pitching line up is fucking absurd. That's true. They've Schlitter, Fried, Garicol, and Rodon. They might not even have to play Rodon in the second and the next round. I mean, they got pitching, dude. Now, I just don't know about their defense. And their defense is going to have to hold up. Their pitching doesn't give enough any hits. Because everyone always does this. They go, hey, look at the lineup that the Yankees have. And I get it. I mean, I might have the Rocky Yankees lit on the show one day. We'll probably lose more subscribers. Eagle brother, the bullpen is track. That's why you need those starting pitches to go long. So Ben Rice is hitting 556.

He had 556 against the Red Sox. Wow. Belinger hit 333. Underdog day in catching fire, man. That's a team full of full of syspots. I've been saying that for four years. Their theme song used to be about another girl, but another dude banging their chick. That team did not build the way you wanted a team built. Holy shit, Ben Rice. How many butter pups on that baseball team? Dude, Ben Rice hit 41 bombs this year. Yeah, dude, where you been? That guy's been cooking. Is Judge going to be back? Hey, is he he's a switch hitter? He bats left. No, he bats left and he throws right. That's right. No, no, he hits the left hand hitter. Is Judge going to back? Maybe next, um, maybe game two of the race series. I think maybe game two they're talking that he may come back.

For that series. Yeah, Rice, you're always going to have you. You notice Xander Yankee Yankee. Great. The majority of the team was left hand hitters because the ballpark is built for left hand hitters because it's only 305 down the right field wall. I'll rock you. Thank you. Right next week. It's 318. I think to let to left. Yeah. It's 365 to left center. It used to be 468 or 485 to dead to left dead center. My brother's trying to get me up there for a game because his office is in New York. But man, it's for playoff game. To go to a game now, Dave. It is like, wait, to go to a game? To go to a game? Yeah. Like an arm and a leg, dude. Bro, you know how much my uncle my aunt's in here. You know what my uncle paid to go for a game down in them seats. You know, behind home plate. Like $5,000 a pop. Well, behind home plate. Yeah. Yeah, to go see the royals. Yeah. Hey, hey, hey, Z to go see the royals. I'll answer your question.

I think the Phillies win. Oh, I don't. Really? Why? I don't think they're built. I don't think they're built to win. You got no who's pitching tonight? Is it no? It is. Is it? It is. All right. That's the no one's either. One of two things happens tonight. No, the pitches a gem. Or no, it gets absolutely fucking sheld. It's going to be no in between. No in between the night. And then Alex Korb becomes the manager. Maybe. You think that it does broski surprise? I don't think he should. I've always liked that. I've always wanted the Phillies to win. Because I love the city. I love when Philly wins. Like I would be happy if the Phillies won a world series. If they play versus the Yankees, though, I want to see the Yankees win. Oh, whoa.

I'm going to shit about the Phillies. Oh, with that. See, I like your loyalty, though, man, because some people like, you know, when they were, when they were, well, that's how I feel with the Flyers. I've never been a Flyers fan, but I do like to find the way. Yeah, we're, any flyers fans in here? Oh, yeah, we got the big year coming. They lost seven nothing last night. The season opener at home. Oh, my God. It's beaten to shit, Adival. Eastern Conference Finals. Rangers and Flyers, who are you rooting for? Rangers. Oh, my God. I didn't think close. Rangers. Dude, you want me to go grab my Rangers lid? That's a sick Ranger lid. Dude, I have what I have a winter classic. New York Rangers sweater. I've got to lose seven nothing in a hockey game. The first game of the year.

Man, that's there. I'll tell you what to do. It's good to touch down. I love that. I love the Flyers. I do love that flyer sweater, though. Oh, it's horrible. How could you say that? It was horrible. You know why? Because I love that. Well, the greatest sweater in the history of NHL is the Black Oaks. That's a good one, but I think the Rangers are right up there, too. It's the original six jerseys. Anybody who was an original 16? Like Redwings? Like that, right? Redwings? Bruins? Yeah, Canadians, Maple Leafs. Bruins. Redwings. Redwings are awesome. Dude, I love that Toronto Maple Leaf sweater. What are the best sports cities in the country? Philly. Philly's definitely up there. Philly Shagga. Shagga's awesome sports city. Black Oaks. Bosses. Bears. Sometimes I wish these dudes would be some of these teams in these bigger cities

would fucking like get better teams like how the bear suckers. I know. Boston is another one. Boston is another one. I'm not fucking Boston. Yeah, by the way, what the red socks? What a what a dusty name. Well, think about this though in the last two weeks. Wait, wait a second. My 25 years. The Bruins of one of time. Look at everybody whining. This is not a Philly sports channel. Hey, last 25 years. Bruins of one. Patriots of one. Celtics of one. Reds, Ox of one. That's true. I mean, Yankees have one since their nine. I was there Yankees have one since their nine. I wasn't there for the win. I was there for game two. Norgirl season at Yankee Stadium. I was 12. No, I was I was 11. I went to the inaugural game. Got some budget. I got a plaque. That's sick. I got that. I got sand. I got sand from it.

I used to have the hat with the patch. But I was 11 years old. I don't think it still exists. They gave me a they gave me a whole gigantic plaque. I got dirt from home plate. Whole thing. Yeah. I mean, we'll see. Los Angeles. Let's see. LA has LA. I don't believe it's a good sports city. I think New York is a front runner city. Well, I mean, they have 27 world titles. Well, well, wait a minute. But that I'm saying that's going to catch the Yankees. Feeling as front runner fans and they got two. Oh, wait a minute. The Yankees are different than New York sports fans because Yankee fans are legendary. How the fuck could you be a match fan? You can't. Like do match fans exist? You can. How are you a match fan? Here. I'll give it to you. 1969. They went to the World Series in 1973. 1986. And 2000. And the SNY now runs those fuckers on a loop.

I was talking to some dude. He's like, he's like a New York guy. And he's like, yeah, I'm a Dodgers fan. I'm like, bro, what? He's like, yeah, well, there was a Brooklyn Dodgers. I'm like, all right, so you followed him to LA when you got the Yankees. By the way, I said this this morning. Nobody will. Everybody won't want to admit it because they're all filled off of buttercups in here now. Well, I can't believe it. The city I grew up in is filled with fucking butter balls. The most iconic logo in all of sports, not just baseball. It's not close. It's not even close. It's not it's not a debate. There's no debate. It's the net. We talk for baseball. You know the history. Hey, you know the history. Hey, you know the history of the NY, right? It's for New York City policemen that have fallen back in the 90s. 1900s. Yankee, that was the butter. Nice prints. The butter boots man. Dude, the New York Yankees were the first to put numbers on their jerseys.

They were the first to put pinstripes. They were the first really to have a ballpark like that ballpark at Yankee Stadium. I went to the original and then I went to the second one. The original one that had P green. And I and I saw all them guys. Mike, my cousin used to take us there to Yankee games. I used to see months in. Then I saw those great Yankee teams of the 70s when I was growing up. Bro, and then, Zander, you know the ultimate. I'll tell you guys this here. One last story here, Zander. So when I was doing my show in Tampa, dude, I get this look. Guy knocks on the door. He comes into my studio. It's George Steinbredder. Mr. Steinbredder. He goes, there I see your big Yankee fan. And it was legendary man. He would come in every month during the season. And he would come in. He'd sit there and talk with me, Mr. Steinbredder. Hey, let's come over to Rocky Point. We'll have lunch. Once a week, I had lunch at Rocky Point,

where his offices were in Tampa. With George Steinbredder at a place called Landries. And me and him would sit there and you know, and I go. Was January 3rd to be in New York Yankee from the Red Sox. Hey, you know all this history of the ego. Man, I'm a Yankee fan. I've been a Yankee fan my whole life growing up. Fucking love that thing, man.

Well, you know how I became a Yankee fan. No, that grew up in the projects. Pop left them at, I don't know, eight years old. And he worked the paper route delivering newspapers. So when he was eight or nine years old, he saved up and bought one of the many radios. There's a little black radios that you could put. Yeah, and he only got one. And only got one station. Yeah, and he could, that he could wire it to based on where he was. And it was Yankee's baseball. So he grew up listening to Yankee's can. That's why I love the baseball now. Prince, I was born January 3rd. Go ahead, man. I'm sorry. For the kid. His guy, Prince, man. I was born January 3rd, 1963. I get worth it, be avar. Zee is secretly an anti-filling mole with these New York affiliations. Be honest, Rossini, is your hero. Appreciate it. You're on a, receives my hero. I have no New York affiliations. I grew up in Jenkins town, which is in Montgomery County. I went to San Joe's Prep for High School. I went to grade school and Glennside.

All right. As high school in the city, San Joe's Prep. And I live in Box County right now. What do you mean? I got New York affiliations. I've never lived outside the state of Pennsylvania. Other than when I went to college and when I lived in Houston for two years. You know, Hank and how you succumb on the program too. They used to live on a short boulevard in Tampa. And we go over to their house. Mr. Steinbrenner is one of the, you know, when you go to Tampa, dude, Tampa's Yankee country. It's not race country. You know what Steinbrenner did one year? I'm on the air. Guess what? He goes, Dan, come down to the Tampa Police Department. You know what he did? He bought the Tampa Police Department a brand new car. And Zander. He put the Yanwai logo on all the Tampa police. The raised guy Vince the Moli fucking went nuts. When he saw that the Yankee said, bought all the police cars in Tampa.

Went absolutely nuts. But there's no baseball in Tampa without George Steinbren. Dude, George Steinbrenner. Yeah, no doubt. George Steinbrenner is one of the absolutely greatest people I've ever met in my life. What a winner, man. And if he were alive today, he'd throw up on you. The way that you wrote for the Yankees winning one. I said good win for the Yankees last night. Shows him. Shut the fuck up. Talk to him. I didn't say that. All right, big Z. We got your brother. Thank you so much, man. By the way, Jake, the cost going to join us in a couple minutes, man. All right, dude. Thank you, brother. Appreciate you, man.
