Defania kept the momentum going, by entering a music competition in New York at age 13. She won top prizes in Piano Concerto and solo categories, earning a spot at the famous Carnegie Hall. Despite a packed week of rehearsals and sound checks, she delivered a stunning performance that felt like a dream come true. The experience left Defania thrilled, but aware of the pressure to maintain high standards. Now back home, she's balancing school with upcoming concerts, focused on her favorite composer, Clara Schumann, and professional recordings.
