About this episode
We often wait for the "big calling" or the "big opportunity" before we think we can serve God. We tell ourselves that once life settles down, we will be useful. But Jesus doesn't start with a spotlight; he starts with a lamp in an ordinary house.
In this daily devotional, we explore why your ordinary Thursday matters just as much as your Sunday. We look at how "tiny faithfulness" in the kitchen, the office, or on the school run can shift the atmosphere of a room.
Today’s Scripture:
"Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people." — Colossians 3:23 (NLT)
In this video, you will learn:
- Why you don't need to "stage" your life for God to use you.
- How small deeds like patience in traffic or kindness at home bring light.
- A simple challenge: Pick one tiny habit of Jesus to practise today.
A Prayer for Today:
Jesus, thank you that you meet me in ordinary life. Help me stop chasing big moments and start living faithful moments. Give me strength to do small good deeds with a clean heart. Make my work an offering. Make my words kind. Make my presence peaceful. And let my life point people to the Father. Amen.
