Why Nationals Must Lead BAM

The future of the Business as Mission (BAM) movement rests on a powerful partnership: Expats as catalysts and Nationals as leaders. Join Mike Baer as he explores the vital, yet often misunderstood, roles of both in making disciples in the marketplace, expanding the kingdom, and achieving exponential growth.

Mike argues that while expats are necessary pioneers to take the gospel where Christ is not named, their role is limited; it is the starting point, not the end. The long-term transformation of society and the exponential growth of the church will ultimately happen through nationals. They possess distinct advantages like language, cultural understanding, lower operational costs, and established relationships.

Learn why we need to move from an unconscious bias toward "going" to a conscious effort of "handing over the reins" and equipping, mobilizing, and funding national BAM leaders for maximum global impact.
