On March 9th, police and whales are turning to cutting-edge facial reconstruction to identify a mystery man found dead in the Clare-Wen Reservoir North, a rioter back in October 2024. The badly decomposed body, wearing a wetsuit, turned up floating in the 650-acre site that supplies water to Birmingham and the West, Midlands. No missing car or clothes were found nearby, and tests on his DNA, fingerprints, and dental records, came up empty on national and international databases. Diffid Powys Police teamed up with Facelab at Liverpool John Moore's University, the same experts who built a digital avatar of King Richard III, from 500-year-old remains. Using photos, a post-mortem report, dental details, and a CT scan, they crafted a three-dimensional model showing a man aged 30-60 with a rounded chin, square jaw, downturn nose, protruding teeth, and a left-sided cross-biden. Now the image has gone through police systems and Interpol, with detectives hoping someone
recognizes him as a family member and comes forward to help. Let's solve how he ended up there.
