College football is back. So, Hilton called to me the superstition concierge to make your fan rituals a reality. Need a room to match your lucky number? We got you. Want to make sure our team doesn't wash your lucky jersey? Oho, that smells lucky. Hilton's unmatched hospitality can keep up with any superstition. Even a marching bandwink up call it 555 and 55 seconds. Hit it! When you need a team that will do whatever it takes on game day, it matters where you stay. Hilton, for this day. For decades, a shadowy organization called the Aleminati has kept lemon on top and lime in the shadows. Look around, lemon forward sodas, even lemon forward songs. We ran the tracks, slowed them down, reversed them and squeezed out the truth. Oho, hey, open lemon! That's lemon propaganda right there. But now, 7 up is fighting back with their new lime lemon soda. Join the 7 up rising. Flip the set.

I don't think about getting them to overalls. Really? I don't have any shoes that you mean by getting into overalls. You just having a pair? Oh, and a pair? Like, getting in to overalls sounds like you're like, I'm trying to get into like a collection. You know what I mean? Like... I think you gotta start with one. Oh yeah, I mean, some people... I know people that don't. They just got all overalls. I literally have zero shoes that would go with overalls though. What shoes go with overalls? What shoes go with overalls? Whatever Mac Owen wears? Probably like red wings or like a thorough good boot. Lay some like hiking boots kind of. Or boots that just slip on. Yeah, mocks, crocs. Who crocs? I don't have a pair of crocs. Orkin socks kind of go with overalls. But like, I'm saying on the practicality standpoint of like doing stuff in overalls, you're in the field or like gardening or something? Probably not birken socks. But if you're just casually wearing overalls, I'm saying wear... Or the wearer. Yeah, where are you giving me wearin' overalls for? Yeah. Disforged fashion. I mean, that would look curfashion. Yeah.

Well, if you're gonna do it for fashion, I feel like you have to wear Gore-Tex. Oh, see, I do have some. Because you're working in the... If you just show up with some car heart tough knit overalls at church. Yeah, I mean, church. Oh, church, that's cool. I mean, this one. Okay. I was thinking about it today. Anyways, should we go like one strapper? One for sure. With no shirt, like one nipple out. Maybe. Well, that's crazy. You'd be great at nursing. Or both nipples. Welcome back to the Duck Conference, ladies and gentlemen. We're laughing because we get weird right before the show starts. I'm keeping all that in. Okay, hey, sit down. We were talking about overalls and if or not, I should buy some. Si, have you got your duck stamp? Yeah. Yeah, because that's... And it is duck season here. So we've been hunting. If you haven't got your duck stamp, head over to duckstamp.com. Because that's the easiest way to get it. Si, and the best part is always on your phone. All right, it's always on my phone. You don't have a phone. That's all. Anyways, but we have John Luke and Jacob here with us today. Martin's off somewhere. But this...

There's an excitement in the air. Because this is a big episode. Episode big. Yeah. There's an announcement. Because of you. Yes. Si doesn't know. Well, why is this a big episode? Si, my salmon swam upstream. Why would you say that? Oh, your salmon swam upstream. You don't remember him saying that? Because you're not here. I don't think I was here. Really? Well, I panicked because y'all weren't telling anybody and Si was over there telling everybody. Well, what is the fish fry? I'm losing on the metaphor, but about a week ago. The baby's fried enough. She's cooked enough. She's in the world now. Okay. Yeah, we had a little baby. There it is. I was like, I don't know that we're keeping up. Yeah, yeah, no, no. I just thought that was funny. He said that on the show that my salmon wasn't swimming upstream. And I just always thought that was pretty funny. That's a one way to say it. And what would we name the child?

After your mother. Marit. Marit, Presley, Maya. Okay. And I guess after your second name. I didn't know my wife had asked me. Yeah, Marit, Presley. Okay. Because she was not able to see it. Yeah. Marit, Presley. Oh, yeah. I asked, I like it. I asked after Preston too, my dad. Well, hi, mom and baby are doing well. Yes, sir. They're good. The house hanging out right now. It's good. Well, tell your wife. It's good to congratulate you. I will. Yes, sir. Then I had told her so. Don't worry. Yeah, yeah. It's God will take care of that for you. It's true. He's been faithful. He does. Uh-huh. Well, she's here now. Yep. So the reason why we named her Marit. One is because your mom was born. Her and Bella share the same birthday. So Bella was born on your, your mom was born on your birthday. All called birthday. Okay. She stayed with Cory two weeks after Bella was born. No, that was because Bella was asked me. Well, what was your Grammy?

Well, I was a Grammy. Well, who? Uh-uh. We are going to pull up a few photos. Just there you go, sir. There she is. There she is. The happy family. That is one of God's miracles that he gives to me. And like, now we have no idea what that young lady may grow up and become. No, no clue. So it was a pretty well kept secret, by the way. Yeah. Like, y'all never announced this baby coming and so now that she's here, how is it now that she's here? You're a new dad. You're a fresh dad. Fresh. Fresh meat. How old? We were like seven days, eight days? Yeah, week today. A week today, okay. What was your first stop when you saw that young lady? All that baby? Yeah. Start crying. And told Bella she did great. That's all I thought. And she was beautiful. I got me. Well, it's called. No, it's no words to explain it.

So I just was. Oh, no. I was crying. I started crying. And just. I was just thankful that I was there in that moment. Like, I don't know. I just. I'm not going to share the whole story on here. I'll share it like her pregnancy because Bella wants to do that. At some point, me and her share our full story. But I feel like at one point of my life, I won't put in my life. I didn't know it. Like I got to a point where I thought I might have to be okay with never having a kid. And I don't mean that I was a Debbie Downer or anything. I just mean like that's where I was at. So I just was grateful in that moment to like being in that position. You know what I mean? Well, no, because when I, you know, first saw Tracer, my daughter. Yeah. I just couldn't believe that I was a part of that. Yeah, exactly. You know, because it's so wild. It's crazy. And especially, you know, when after she's grown up and become the woman she is. Okay, because people said, hey, nice, wish babies in the hospital.

She's beautiful. You know, Tracer's beautiful and smart. You know, man, of course they said, we're done. That come from. Where'd all that come from? Yeah. So, yeah. Yeah, it was great. I honestly, I cried more right before Bella gave birth than it. Like when I saw the baby, I cried, but I cried more just being in that moment knowing that like this is about this about to happen. Okay, so you have got 78 years of looking back. Okay. That my mom and dad started. Seven kids. Five boys, two girls. And then look what's become of it. Crazy. And saying, I don't even think you could dream it up. Two people, chairs are left together and then, you know, the legacy that they laid behind is wild. Yep. So, yeah, this one's been a long time coming though.

A lot of prayers, a lot of ups and downs. Oh, yeah. For sure. Like you said, I mean, I don't know what that would be. I never went through that. Well, here's what you did when Lisa told me, then Bella had had the baby. Oh, you did know? Oh, yeah. We didn't know that you knew. Yeah. No, we were breaking news. I knew. No, like it was put like two months ago. I wanted to, I know you wouldn't play dominoes. Yeah, played dominoes and Lisa was told me and I said, wait a minute. I said, was it premature? She said, no, it was like a week late, I think. A week early. A week early. Yeah. And I said, it's just the other day I found out that she was pregnant again. Yeah. Oh, and I said, it's already been nine months. That's great. It is crazy. I'm fly. I was shocked because I am. It was flying by. Because I had insane belly lately and then John Luke, we got done recording the other day. And John Luke was like, oh, belly had her baby.

I said, excuse me, do what? It has it. I said, are we good? Because my mind goes to scary places and I was like, are she everything good? And John Luke was like, great. I'm going to hospital. I was like, thank God. Oh, yeah. I was in here recording whenever we got the text that she had the baby. Oh, yeah. It's so funny. What's your weight? It has six pounds and eight ounces. Six pounds. Yeah. Got a lot of hair too. Oh, yeah. Full head of hair. It's kind of funny. We've been to the hospital like probably four or five times. Just on some scares and stuff or having some like early contractions. I feel like it's normal first pregnancy thing kind of for nervous kids and just trying to figure it out. So a few times Bill had some high blood pressure or some they call it Braxton Hicks contractions. And we didn't know if she was going into labor or whatever. Braxton Hicks. Yeah. So we've been the hustle a few times. The funny thing is this time when we had them had the baby not him or her. We were going in for a 39 week appointment and we didn't think we're having the baby today.

But Bella said on the way there. She said, God, it would be just so nice because it was her birthday. Always bedded her going to have the baby on her birthday, which was a week before her due date. Her due date was on September. Wait, Bella had the baby on her birthday. Yeah, the birthday had the baby on the birthday. She almost is. She had the next day. Oh, yeah. So I thought that was pretty wild. You were going to be broke in the month of September. Yeah, I'm telling you. I swear you're lying. I still am. It was two days in a row. Double whammy. Yeah. Jacob, you're now the brand manager of Duck Commander. You're going hunting all the time. What's one of the best $25 investments a Duck Hunter can make? Buy Duck Stamp. Hunters are always willing to invest in good shells, decoys and the gear that helps make the day in the blind better. It's literally like your whole job. Yep. You can get a Duck Stamp. It belongs right alongside all that because it helps protect the places where those hunting memories happen. It's required for Duck hunting anyways. And that $25 also goes towards conserving wetlands across America. Since 1934, Duck Stamp buyers have helped conserve more than six million acres of habitat.

And getting yours is easier than ever at DuckStamp.com. Buy it online and carry the digital stamp right there on your phone throughout the entire season. You can head straight to the blind and your collectible physical stamp will arrive. You can head straight to the blind and your collectible physical stamp will arrive later in the mail. We all hunt. We love Duck hunting the best way to keep Duck kind of going. It's to buy your Duck Stamp and conserve all that land up above us. So the ducks have a great spot to make little baby ducks and come down here so we can eat them. It's that simple. So $25 may not buy much these days, but it still buys something that matters. So we're going to go back to DuckStamp.com to get yours today. That's DuckStamp.com. So we end up going up there. Her blood pressure goes down. And then they take the due labs and her protein was like 300 over of what it was supposed to be, which is a sign of preclampsia, which is high blood pressure. So you kind of have to have the baby so they induce her at like,

say like 130. I ended up having the baby the next day, but it was a, it was a wild experience. The wild is experienced. I've been living with me, Bella and Cory for the last week, you know. Cory's still there? He's still there. That's a good thing. No, it is good. No, it's good. That's great. No, it's been fun. So Cory, it's always fun. I've been a hospital lot with Cory with Bella, just different things. And so we always have a good time. It's pretty funny. She gets to see a little more inside of our marriage in life, which is. Yeah, Cory shows up. Cory can't be there. That's awesome. Yeah. So we ended up having that baby the next day. And I remember somebody was like, did you watch? I was like, yeah, I wanted to, but I was nervous at first when the doctor came in. So I don't know if everybody knows what theduction is. I guess you all obviously do. So that I give the Bella medicine to progress longer. They ended up popping her water at, I want to say 930 in the morning and she had the baby

about 250. Yeah, but she didn't dilate at all until about, I want to say like 1150. 1150. You watched the whole procedure. Yeah, she pushed it out. Naturally says it was, I watched the whole thing. I would be able to do that. Yeah. Well, I was, I did it once on the next two. It's like I'm solid. Bella started feeling really bad at about nine centimeters. Oh, fuck. No, I could. And she was like, wait a minute or tougher than us. Yeah, no, they really are. No, no, no, no, no, no, I always get tickle on the, oh, you're a man. And anybody talking about that, that the weaker sex. Come back in the real world, boy. That's over. I think I'm a damn weaker sex. Yeah. I'm a dude. I was really thinking of me. A bit one for the woman. I had the weird men extinct a long time ago, like the dodo bird. The toughest thing I've ever been through in my life was just sleeping on that hospital bed next to Alice and when she had babies, because that, that was bad.

I know it talks about that. No one never gives a single credit. That's so funny. That thing is terrible. The best ones are like the recliners. I never got one of those. Yeah, I got the recliner. Well, you got to have five to. Yeah, I got to watch your punch cards full. Yeah, I had rules. Yeah, I had rules. I had rules. I had rules. I had rules. I had rules. I had rules. I lived in that hospital for about a month. Well, they were trying to keep quarter in and I'd ever even got a recliner. They just put us in a quarter and said, y'all hold on. Oh, it was fun. It's fun. It's all fun now. Yeah, Bella. Bella got to like nine centimeters. Didn't feel good. She's like, I don't think I can do this because she wanted to do it. Like push them out. She didn't want to have a C section. Nothing against C sections. That's just what we wanted to do. I was like, ah, you got this. You can do this. Well, they came in there and she started pushing. I want to say like to 22 or 232. And we had the baby at 252. Wow. So you did it really good. Yeah. It was awesome. Like it was the craziest thing the doctor said like during it. He's like, do you want to look?

And I was like, I want to. But I don't get like weirded out or nasty usually. But I was like, I don't want to look. And then it ruined me being supportive for Bella. You know, and he's like, well, this is a great time to look. And I looked and I was like, ah, that's nothing like what I thought. And I say all this to say, Corey said I should share this. John Luke already knows what I'm about to say. He doesn't know what I'm about to say. He might now. But for the longest time in my head, I conjured up. If a woman was to push a baby out, it was going to look like a Venus flytrap. The baby would just come out and it was just. It would just be a good analysis. Yeah. I tell John Luke that. I was like, like a like a, like come out of a water slide. Yeah. And just. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I had no clue. Oh, young man. If you're listening to this, the visual was a Venus flytrap. No, because I was sitting here thinking about it. Yeah. All the stories of all the birds that had a carium and what happened during when they

was carrying them. Because in my mind, I'm looking by why I've had a place to spaghetti on her belly. And it just goes flying across the room in labor. No, because Tracer chooses to have. It has places to get it on the stomach. And I did just trace a kick it off. It went flying across the room. Yeah. So I know that there's all kinds of wild stories. Oh, yeah. Of women having babies and all the crazy stuff that happened. Yeah. And the old Venus flytrap was I love the analogy. Yeah. It was funny. Because everybody can ask me if I look. And so when I would tell them that's the story I would tell them. It was just what I love. I'll watch the whole thing. The baby coming out and everything. And it was awesome. I did. But I thought that's what it would look like. I remember telling John Luke and two mama and Mary Kay in the waiting room.

I was like, I really thought it was going to be like a Venus flytrap. Like I had no clue. And when I looked, I was like, it wasn't that like it was fine. It was not that big of a big deal. It was a big deal. Everybody's done it. Yeah. Is it? Oh, well, not every I guess there are C sections about it. Most human beings for a long time. It's the only way they came out. I'm just one of those people. People were like, are you going to look? I was like, yeah, playing on it. I don't think I'm not. And they're like, why? I'm like, I'm just one of those people. If I don't look, I would regret not looking. I looked in the mirror that's on the ceiling. Do they still got that? We didn't give birth in that kind of hotel. That hotel. We had like a mirror up there. And I'm back there behind that. He wasn't like, he wasn't like, he got this. You got this. And I'm looking at the nurse. I'm like, yeah, he got this on the first one. And so I'm like, you got this. And then I look up. And then they told Alice and they're like, look in the mirror. And she was like, oh my gosh, push harder. I feel that so much you're saying like, I got this. I've never been in the situation. And these doctors and nurses are coming in. They're like, all right, this is how you push.

Like, you're going to breathe in. You know what I mean? And then we're going to do three of them on a contraction. And we're going to try to let the contraction pass as long as it can. So it'll push the baby down naturally. And then you'll push and do it, do it, do it. I'm like, okay. And she's doing it the first one. She was a beast. Like, she didn't even, she was just like pushing. And then like, I'm talking about no noises. Like, she was doing awesome. But they were like, all you're doing so good. And I'm like, yeah, you're doing so good. But I'm like, they could be lying. Like, I have no clue what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying? You have no clue. Like, they're like, yeah, you're doing good. I'm like, yeah, baby, you're doing good. But then we could be not progressing at all. I have no clue. But that's the dead's job. We have no clue. But that's why I look it back and so funny. Because she really just did. So there's three pushes in a set. And she only did like eight sets. And the baby was here. And I was like, that's crazy. Yeah, baby. I have no idea. But it was so funny. Because I was like, yeah, you're doing good. Yeah. And then the doctor come in there. I didn't even know the baby was actually going to come out. They come out fast. And then he came out. I was like, oh my gosh. And then I was just like, once you get that big old dome out the way,

they just, yeah, exactly. And then the funny part is you're saying like, you're doing so good. That's, I can't, I feel so dumb. But this is all I could say after the baby come out like, oh my gosh. And then the baby's beautiful, obviously. I was just crying like, you did so good. Like, I don't know what else to say. Like, I was just crying like, you did so good. Like, I don't know what else to say. I know that sounds dumb. That doesn't sound dumb. We do the whole thing. The only person that thinks that's dumb is somebody that hasn't been standing behind their wife. Totally helpless. Yeah. You want to do a good job? John Luke. Yeah, I watched them all. Yeah. John Luke's got like a whole roll of dead. From the side to you. Yeah. What do you want to know? Yeah. We got a first time or we got a professional. Hey, one kid, two kids at one time. I mean, what do you want? Yeah. That first one was not what was, the first one I think was the worst and not because I guess it was because it was not what I was expecting. Exactly. I didn't expect them to come out. So like squished and like, yeah, informed and stuff and like with all the stuff on them.

Right. Was that, I still feel bad. I got a good story here. Yeah. I'm going to back you up on this. A hunter over here who's never been in there. What is laughing is but off it's squished. Oh, he's been in there. He just hadn't been in there since he was born. You know what I mean? Well, when Carter was born, like, there's excitement but also terror and worry and all that. But I'm like, this, we got two seconds with him. So I snap a photo and I'm like, I'm a dad now. I'm a post this one and looking back, I'm like, my bad bro. That wasn't the best picture of you. But I said, here you go. And he's like looking like a alien. It was a bad deal. I should probably go back and find it. It got all the stuff on them. They're like purple and like it's. Oh, okay. I lost my train of thought earlier when I was talking to daddy and her up to you. Well, no, and then what the last ones were, because they were twins, so that was different. Oh, that's crazy. And the first one came out like normal. And the second came out breach, which was like backwards and also like down. Beat down. Yeah, they came up out.

Yeah, she came out like a water slide. Beat down. Face up and which allowed that. Oh, it's recommended. They did it. Really? Not, yeah, they did it. I'm not a doctor. No, it was actually an intense thing, which we didn't realize how intense it was until at the end of it when the other older nurses was like that was not a normal thing. That could have been terrible. But it just in the moment it had to happen for whatever, whatever reason I'm not. Hey, you're not in charge. I'm not in charge. I wasn't in charge of that, but I watched it. Oh, she came out that. I wasn't in charge. That one was pretty, that one was more intense though. And when she gave me the scissors, they like cut the umbilical cord. She was like, she's a great cut, you know, cut the cord. And francey looks like, I mean, she is like, wholly purple, not breathing. And I'm like, yeah, it looks so good. I'm not hands shaking. I'm trying to cut the thing. Yeah. He gave me, I guess I didn't think about that. He gave me this much of a barrier to cut. Oh yeah, they're like, yeah. So it's like I cut this. It was kinda like I was in kindergarten. He's like, here, cut this, but I don't try. I cut it right through here. Which I get. I'm not. I don't know if there's well-versed ones. I don't care if it's like the arcade where you have to like cut the thing. I was last about 30 seconds. Were you not even in the room? No, I don't know. You weren't in the room. That's criminal. That's nitrogen 70. Five. What year was trace of it? I ain't gon' last 30 seconds. I'll see you in the room. Yeah, that's fair.

I'd be gone. He'd be the problem. Yeah. I'm serious. All I would do is just, I guess if I was in there, he'd put the gloves on so he'd let me deliver this baby. No. Size out. If I was in the waiting room. So then did I, I'll give you an example. We took choices to the doctor because she stepped on a bone and her foot got infected. Well, they had to lance it. They just took her scaffolding. I mean, I just rolled up, punched full of putts. Yeah. And when the doctor cut it, blood started coming out and you know, you had a crap, that was on the floor. You were on the floor. You fell out? I passed out. He was admitted to the next room. All right, no. Well, then they had to pick me up. Take me out. So what happened back then? Like, did they, don't know, you were just in a war, right? Were you there? What happened was she started having contractions and we went to the emergency room and then they put her on the plane

and doped her up and flew her to Austin, Texas. And I'm back here. Also, it was a bigger deal. Oh, yeah. It's like a murder. It's a trace, right? This is emergency. So she, you know, that, just, Christine didn't need to play. You so high, she could have flew over her own once they put her own. That's why I asked you, what, what did you feel? Cause I was just amazed that I was looking at, say, I had a part in this. It's not much, but, you know, I know. Yeah. It's just crazy. I don't know, break it down. Like, to go back to that, it's like we're humans and we're, so it's like, just like everything else procreates we do. So it was just like feeling, you know, I don't know. I feel like, I mean, it just feels like Primal almost in a way. It's just like, I cannot believe that. Say, I'd like made us, well, no, no, create it. And then my wife just grew a child for nine months. I don't have any clue what she looks like. And I just saw her come out. And this is what she looks like.

And it's just like, oh my, like this is the most beautiful thing they could ever have. Oh, you're gonna just be amazed all the time. Yeah. As she stays, goes to stages. Also in that moment, I think I felt like the weight of like having a child too. That's the scary one. It's like a good weight though. It's just like, I'm obviously keep got first relationship and he's sovereign and whole nine yards. But then I'm his direct, you know, I have to raise up this child in a way. No, of course it's a, that's what I mean. One more, we had Trisa. I looked up and said, now what do I do Lord? Yeah. It's just funny to now to think about time flies. And all about like after she was born, like one thing I thought was like, she's gonna do it. Here I am. It's probably gonna get married one day. I need to be raising her up in that way. Like for a husband, I need to start praying for a husband for a woman. Best I can do. It's just all these things. It's amazing. The best I can do for a man is love your wife

and for that child every day of your life. I agree for sure. So that them she'll have no doubt about, yeah, she'll be looking for a mate. I felt that same way whenever I had my first one, like my whole perspective changed on life. Yeah, it's crazy. Yeah. Well, now I would, here's the time you ain't got no choice to use. Now you're a role model. Whether you own a bill or not. No, yeah. Definitely. After my first one, my whole personality changed. Like it was just the wildest, because I was the guy that was like, I was so competitive at everything and I would fight people in church league softball games just for fun. Remember that guy? I was that guy. I hate those days. Hey, every team needs a dream on green on it. And do like, I was just like, we were always, would you say you were a fighter or would you run into like any crash out? Like you just get mad. No, no, I didn't fight anybody. My goal was to get somebody to fight me.

Oh, I was running my mouth shocking. Oh, okay. And I was like, I don't really want to be that guy. We all like, and so then like this, like, oh man, every time somebody asked me, what was the biggest moment in your life? Like, I love Allison. Not when we got married. I was still a kid. That first kid pops out and you got responsibilities that you never even thought of. Yeah, that's when everything changed for me. Well, if you get married and then have a child and like, y'all that watch the procedure, that's gotta give you a, she's going through all of that, to have that child. And y'all went through more than most. I know you said you want to do. Yeah, yeah. Wait for Bella to tell that story. Sure. But yeah, like you're saying, it's like looking at Bella now, like she grew that child and then also pushed the child out. And it's incredible. No, it's not what happened to a child. It's incredible.

No, no. That's why I tell you, the only thing you've got to do is raise your young daughter. Okay. And let her say you love your, our mother. Yeah, for sure. Because that's, I tell her, I remember about my childhood growing up. Just, what my mom and dad had. Right. Because they never left the house, even if he did, and forgot, mom would remind him, are you forgetting something, James? Yeah. Yeah. You feel as an example, but he said, hey, when I was my child being born, he said, I got a difference from pectivum on my wife, then. Yeah. What they go through to care to child, to caring for nine months, and then to put up with him, changing diapers, just that, just then praying for him,

his whole life or her whole life. Right, right. Every time they leave when their teenage years, yeah. How's that first diaper change? That was good. I had to, I had to psych myself up to do the food for him. Get there though. Yeah, I've changed like three. There we go. Nice. Three dumps already. She's had mega amounts of dumps. Mega dumps. Mega dumps. I don't know, well said, they're different every time. Oh, every time I change color. She's almost got Roy G. B.F. down. Do you remember that? Well, this is a bello. Yeah. Bello, oh, I'm gonna say I said the one, don't I? Said the magic word that she's been wanting to hear. Yeah. How is mom doing? Oh, she's doing great. She's awesome. Honestly, as I'm saying, she's so tough. Like I was gonna say this earlier, I was really thinking of me when he was choosing, you know, male or female, because if I was a female, ain't no way. I'd have to be wired, which I guess I would be so different, because I couldn't imagine.

You would be. I couldn't imagine. You have one worry about Bella's motherhood, because I've known Bella a long time. Uh, and it's bad news for you. She's the hardest sleeper I've ever met in my life. Oh, yeah. Is she waking up in the night or? Yeah, so Cory's been staying with us. So I feel like we're really gonna get a good one time going once she goes home. Yeah, do. But I'm a light sleeper. So you're okay, good. Yeah. I'm like, you're gonna become a light. You're in trouble, buddy. She's gonna be like, get him. Or she won't even. She doesn't have to. I just wake up. There we go. I already wake up every night, anywhere from three to five times in the night. I think that's a different podcast, but that's are you okay? Yeah, I'm okay. I'm just a light sleeper. I don't know. I have no problem like going back to sleep. I just, I usually have to pee once or twice every night. And then I just wake up. I don't know why I just do. I just started doing that. That's actually good for Bella, because I was, I'm the, I'm such a hard sleeper. I slept there with everything.

I never work out for it. Or all y'all like that. I think so. Is it just because of how y'all grew up with just people in and out of the house? You're like, I kind of don't know. I don't know how you learn now. That's one thing is that the Robertson family, most, that's, you know, it's always somebody else in their house. Especially when I was a kid, there's late night poker games every multiple times a week. Oh yeah. Me and Phillip were talking about that yesterday. I was playing poker in their house. Yeah, so Bella had to learn how to sleep. Yeah. Because she would never have got, just never got here. You want to know something about having a baby? I'll say this, Bella doesn't snore, but like a side effect, I think a pregnancy later on, they start snoring.

The women. The snores now? Oh, yeah. And so I can't wait for that to go away. Last night she fell asleep. Bella fell asleep. We were watching TV show and the baby was asleep and she was just, Well, they probably will get more, more, more, more, more. Yeah, they probably will get more, more, more, more, Oh, yeah. That's not a big. We all made it out of the house because I saw you at Mom and Dad's yesterday. Oh, yeah, Bella went to lunch yesterday. We're venturing out. Oh, yeah. Change of scenery. That's a big thing. I feel like after pregnancy when you have a kid, you just start, if you didn't take pictures before and I just start taking pictures everywhere, they went to eat salad stations like, Oh, take a picture of a front-stage conversation with the baby. Yeah. Pumping gas. Oh, first time pumpkin gas on a baby. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Every time you do with the baby, first time taking a dump while having a baby. She going breastfeeding her or not. Oh, yeah. She's been breastfeeding her. Honestly, it went really well. Everything on the sea. Size a big believer in breast milk. It's tiny. I have a big face. It's like a doctor on it.

I don't believe her. Actually nothing except for smell. No, I didn't. All right. It's a lot to it. Talking about breastfeeding is a great topic, even though we're all men here. I'd love for the duck call room and I sport dudes to cover breastfeeding. It'll be a good thing. There's a thing. I'm going to take that. You're a gistet. Why not? Well, you're idiot. Somebody's got to take it. It's all three of my kids are going on. Maybe it's why they're so weird. Number one, okay. Her bowel movement. If you have 40 or 0, no. Hey, I'm just going to be honest. It will not breast milk, but the stuff they fix up. Yeah. Formulate. It thinks like high heaven. Breastfeeding babies. All right. They're pooped on smell bad. Hey, here's the thing though. As a man. I'm serious. I've changed hundreds of formula diapers and don't none of it compared to that nasty 12 year old boy I got now. And if you walk past the bathroom after he does something and there you about getting knocked over. Well, I'm just like, I don't really matter.

That's because we smell never leave. I don't even want to brush for you. The thing I was going to say about breastfeeding other than like what we're talking about here is, just Bella was telling me today how in the morning, this is just from Bella. So I could be totally wrong. So I don't know. But Bella told me this morning that like your breastfeeding the milk in the morning will be to have caffeine in it. And in the evening, it'll have melatonin in it. Like your body will produce that. Oh, no. Let's say that's not true. No, no. Yeah, Brittany's over here. Oh, no, no, no, no. She said that's not crazy. Is that not wild? No, no, that's another thing about God. And he was creating. That's what I'm saying. That's insane. That's wild. You know, when God made a woman, God, he made something. I'm talking about that. He made something about that real. No, no. Hey, that was in my opinion, home of your opinion. That's the best thing he's ever created. Hey, okay. Because just think about she can carry a baby and then her body produces milk.

Yeah. Okay. To feed the child. Right. Okay, to help with the immune system, all this, y'all. And then people look at this and just say, I can't, I can't say this God, you're always talking about, you know, home of your son. Well, you're an idiot in my book. I'm gonna say this. And this is the only thing I have to compare it. But this might be the most sexist thing I ever said, Hunter, you can cut this out. Well, like, it's staying. Like having kids, like women, like it's like, they're like a workhorse. Like God created them to provide everything for that kid and be okay. It's insane. Yeah, we'll clip that. Workhorse women. It's your workhorse. I'm saying, that's how the kid, like you grow the kid. Oh no. Hey, so he didn't describe this properly. It's, hey, he nailed it. Hey, this is the greatest workhorse ever been created. Yeah, this is seciterious. Yeah. I'm talking, this is, this is, hey, look. You get you a long line of women. It's just like the Budweiser horse. Hey, this is the top of the line, buddy.

Yeah. Okay. I'm in. It's crazy how God made it naturally where they can provide everything that child. Yo, tell mom, okay, because that's what I don't want to hear. Yeah. He's a mom now. Yeah. It's crazy. Hey, and to that, to that, there's no one, the only person that beats mom is Jesus Christ himself. That's true. Yeah. I'm serious. I'm serious. I'm serious, man. Yeah. Talking about a carpenter here, people. Yeah. Well, and it's really awesome because to Bella, before we even walk through our infertility and everything, Bella told me, and like we talked about before, we got married, like her life, goal, she wanted to be a mom. Well, no, no, that's why I said that because she lost a child. Yeah. And you all tried to be like, hey, those that don't know the story. And who made, I can't even imagine. Yeah.

Because she cared it for a while. Yeah. Okay. She lost part of herself for crying out loud. Right. Yeah. That's why I told you, hey, congratulations, mom. Yeah, for sure. Okay. Because, hey, that's what Bella's been wanting. Yeah. But you've been more. Uh-huh. You told me, she told me the other day, she said, like, I guess Mary was about five days old. She said, you know, I could do it again. I said, well, Lord willing. We went to the hospital a few times with the early fraction Hick stuff. And this lady came in, it was like three a.m. They were just checking Bella every hour, checking her contractions. And then before you'd have to leave, they would do this ultrasound thing and they'd have this little test to give the baby a score. I think the score was like, you get two or zero. There's no in between or whatever. I don't know why I was that. We put a show. But the girl was ultrasound and Bella and it'd been about 10 minutes or so. She just goes, oh my God.

We're all right. What? Can't say that. Yeah. I'm like, I would have crapped my pants. We were like, oh my gosh. What's wrong? She's like, I don't know if I'm crazy. This baby might have the most hair that I've ever seen on an ultrasound. And so I say that to say when the baby came out and he told me to look, I said, I don't have any clue what she was going to look like. And she just had a full head of black hair. And I was like, oh my gosh. She had some hair. She's crazy. Yeah, y'all have matching haircuts. I'm telling you. She has actually all but got junior. She has all that hair. That's not the crazy right there too. Some of them don't have it. Some of them would just have it. Oh, yeah. And me and Matt look at us got a wig on there. You know, you're full. Yeah, Bella had a full head of hair where she was born and I did too. And so. And she looks like both of y'all. Yeah. And we have similar features. It's cool. That's awesome. I hope she doesn't look like me. I always tell people that like she's a girl. I hope she looks like Bella because Bella is pretty and I'm a man and I don't want to

be like me. But who knows, you know, it's all God's design. I'm a lover anyway. Even if she looks like me. Even if she's a little homeboy, that's all right. Yeah. If she looks a little crazy. Don't let her. Don't let that body. It's not. Well, cause I'll tell you. I prefer like you to wake up one morning and look and say. Good grief. Where did you go from? Out of my mother's womb. Oh, yes, yes, yo. So she's Bella's already like, hey, we can do this again. That's the crazy. She said, yeah. She said, I'd mess with her and really exaggerate it. I was like, oh, yeah. I told her mom was like, well, so we can do this again. But I was like, I said that like I could like looking at the baby. I want to do this again. I had to give it some time. I've had different women tell me. That whenever the nurse brings the baby in for the first time that the mother hold them, they forget everything that they went through. Yeah, yeah.

When they get them in a hand and look at it. We'll go really, when you think about it, you're holding a mirror. She's holding a miracle. Oh, yeah. That's why I look at it. Yo, she's holding a miracle that came from her own body. John Luke, you're already for six, seven and eight? No. No. The next one could be triplets. It could be. We could go for six, but go for six and seven. That's how you're like, I have no six, no big deal. But seven, that's where you draw the line. I would forget some of my kids' names if I had five of them. Really? Probably. You're going to get your memory checked out. I was. I was like, I'm not the time. I would give you. I watch out. He's all I would tell you. I was very excited. Love being the bomb. He does. I'm serious. I'm serious. No. All right. Maybe the most important question of the day and maybe the most unfortunate question of

the day has Willie hung a nickname on this child yet? Yes. Already? Uh-huh. Well, he's testing it out. It's not going to have a nickname for it too. But he, so Parker, who works here, my good friends, he manages Buck Commander, has a little baby girl, their second one, and she has so much hair. She's creeping up on a year old, I want to say. And he calls her Chaka off of Land of the Lost. Yeah. Chaka. Chaka. This is a criminal nickname too. Chaka landed the lost. Yes. I'm somebody. He calls her Chaka because of the hair. Like, hair he had the hinder seat about her if you haven't seen this movie, which I haven't. And so when Willie found out that girl said that was the most hair she's ever seen on an ultrasound, he calls Merit Chaka Khan, Queen of the Chakras. Chaka Khan, Queen of the Chakras. Which is so weird. It's so funny.

It's so funny. But I started calling her today. I mean, I still call her Chaka because of these funny. Um, Chaka Khan. I call her like Mary Bear too. I mean, that's just a simple name. But I call her, I don't think they're going to call her Lamier goat because when she gets really mad, she starts going like you start babbling like a goat. Yeah. Sound just like it. When she gets really mad like she'll cry and everything, but then she'll start like echoing her little cry. This message is sponsored by Raycon. Thomas. Yeah. Uh oh. Yeah. Loddy got hung with bird because I've had it. I've had it now. When she started eating Allison would like cut the food up so small. So me and the boys would make fun of her. I was like, I'll just a little bird eat. And I was like, you don't have to cut it that small. Truly. And then bird has hung with her for the next six years. Yeah. So I don't think I'll ever stop going. I'll say it. Another sweet moment. Just with our story and everything and having the baby was. I remember just some times going through it with Bella. All some thing is all of our grandparents and great grandparents. You know, we miss Papal feel, you know, to have a kid. But everybody else was there to like see the baby. So it was two mamas. Um, I don't want to say 16th grade grandchild. And it was my grandparents. Tenth. And so we just another moment where we all dream like me and Bella were like, I just hope whenever God's timing is, whenever it is. And if it's not, it's okay.

But I just want my grandparents to hold my child, you know, just to have that memory. Oh, no, no. And they got to hold them there in the hospital. And it was just really sweet. And Memal Joe, how old's Memal Joe? 94. 94, 94, 95. 94, 95. She's over 90. Yeah. We can say that one safe. She's sharp. She's sharp too. Oh, yeah. But she was there. Got to hold the baby. And it was just like something. It was just like a dream come true. So that's a sweet moment in the hospital. Well, wait, Memal Joe would be the great, great grandmother of merit. Great, great, great. She'd be the same as granny. All right. No, no, she's that's down from granny. That's shackle for exiled. You got the whole family tree and like genealogy right there still living. Yeah, yeah. Which was awesome. And that's, which is, and that's important. Oh, yeah. Yes. Your grandparents, you know, they had time to get to child something there. We won't find anybody who else. No, I saw this thing the other day talking about grandparents and talking about this

new generation and stuff and just the pros of grandparents. And I really resonated with this because I grew up in my grandparents. We had a bunch of grandkids is like grandparents like took this job teaching kids how to talk. I feel like I learned how to really talk to people hanging out with my grandparents. I was like, took time. Yeah. And they're, and that's what they do. All old people I know. Oh, no. And I don't mean old. I just mean as a description. No, no, no. They're really good talkers. It is old. They are old, but there's so much, you know, young people don't understand. If you have just chance to talk to your grandparents, you can get stuff from them because they've went through stuff. Yeah. And they're just so good at communicating. So my grandpa, he's a big extrovert. And he just told me before if he could like COVID when COVID happened, he was like, if I couldn't talk to people, I don't know how I could go on. Like that they live for interacting with people and just love to interact with my grandpa. No, that's why they were the talks to everybody. It's why they were the call the greatest generation.

Yeah. Okay. Back in them days, yes, there was no such thing as a stranger. No, it's not. No, my mother, my, we, we have come up on a hobo. Okay. Okay, and mom would tell the kids, okay. You're waking up gently and bringing to the house. What? How old were you? No, no, hi. 10, 12 years old. We could not trust Benzen Carter to bring a hobo to my house. No, no. Look, as soon as this guy comes up there, you only look like he's 150 years old. 30 colds, that needs a shave, needs a haircut, stinks. You know, as soon as he gets, we get him into the house. She jumps on him with both feet. Get him that bathroom. There's soap, washing, you know, take a bath and then afterwards, our hair is right, my husband's razor shades that beard off.

Then I'm gonna sit you down and I'm gonna cut your hair. And then I'm gonna tell you, hey, I'm gonna feed you. And then I'm gonna send you to my brother. And if you don't report to him, I'll hunt you down like a doll. Y'all. And some of the people that she done that too, become petalers of the community. That's what we call transformation. Here you go. No, no, but it's scared to hell out of us. Y'all, I'm serious. I thought you'd say, I was, I was serious. I was, how did you ever go to say that at some point? No, no, I was scared. But it was scary having hobos. I mean, I know meth's not as brutal. What's now, man? Tell her, say, mom, I could be a murderer. That's how I was thinking. She said, hey, go wake him up gently and bring him here. Yes, ma'am. Okay. Go, go just go. Times were different back then. Telling you, what even in the room? Whatever the title is for. Yeah, that's crazy. Waking up hobos. But there was all way. Shearing racers. And most of the robbersome.

That's the part. That's so. That's where he crossed the line there. Most of the robbersome kids just, they did what mama and daddy did. Yeah. There's always somebody at your house. Yeah. The hospitality thing is just, I guess it's what we do. Yeah. Yeah. It's good kids to learn, like what you do. Do what you do with them. I think it's a great way for them to grow up and understand how things go. I guess I'm about to find out, but I think that's a good thing. I know. They can just go over to their uncle John Luke's house and get some honey. Yeah. The Bill's character. Maybe they get stung and they'll learn the lesson. You know, don't get stung. Well, that's like, that's like if you tell a child, you know, you got an oven there, that's hot. Yeah. Oh. If you could either let him touch it burn himself and he'll learn from that, all you can say, hey, no. Hot. No. Hey, if he's hard at it, like most of us are. No touch it. Yeah.

Why did you tell me? I did tell you, dummy. Yeah. There's two ways to learn. You learn from other people's mistakes or you try it out yourself. That's right. Learn from your own. That's what I meant, my kid. Stop. I was rather watch somebody touch it and stuff works too. I don't know how she's going to be. She might be like, oh, let me touch that stove even if I tell her no. She will be, hey, she will be what you make her. Well, she's anything like me. And they say they say that your kids repay you for all the stuff you did as a kid. I'll just pray for me. Oh, yeah. You see it. You see 100% you see when they're acting like Allison and you see when they're acting like me. I prefer them to act like me because it's more fun. But they often act like Allison. Yeah. I was a little grumbling for sure. I was the youngest of all my cousins until I was like 10. Well, that's one of those are a problem. That's one of the highlights of being a parent. Is you get to watch them go through all these ages.

And then when you, you know, it's like when we would, my daughter and son would go to other people's houses. You know, we would see the parents of them and they said, oh, you're children are so well behaved. And I said, you talking to me? You got, you made a mistake that went to my kids. And I said, oh, yeah, it was Tristan Scott. I said, dark white. Not if they're well behaved. Yo, yo, go. That's because they're comfortable at home. That's what I keep telling them. No, no, cause you don't, you know, they never do good stuff around the house. It's always, you know, they act like them tell their tale. They act like they want your hazelnies around the house. You, everybody thinks that they're like, everybody else, they act real decent, you know. Right. So rest, go. But that's, that's your training. Right. What you give them for sure. Where's the, we're interested in raising them up. Oh, man, it's like today's Bible verse, but let's talk about that. On our, are we ready for that?

Yeah, cause it's 57 minutes. For the Bible verse of the day. I've enjoyed this immensely. Well, Jacob, we're super happy for you. I can't wait for Bella to tell the whole story. I'm sure that'll come up on a little podcast called, like, whoa, that's good or something. Maybe we are. I'd love to claim it. If she'd like to come in here when she's ready and do it in the duck caul room, we're for that. Yeah, we're excited. Paul, what are we going to have Bella and the child on? She ain't. Well, the invite is open, but wherever that story does, y'all get to tell it together. Trust me, look for it wherever it is, because it's going to be, you might cry. Who knows? Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. Okay. I was kind of hoping you could have the shame. Well, don't worry about it. You know, the people say you've grown me and don't cry. Me and size that these two chairs cried together all the time. I'll grow a good man, does cry. Hey, I'm secure in my sexuality. I don't really care.

I got a good woman in a home and a baby. I don't really care. There it is. Well, on that note, you're a new dad. So the new dad always gets the easiest first forever for new dads. Proverbs 226, train up a child in the way she should go. Go. Even when she is old, she will not depart from it. And I think what's been instilled in you and your whole family, both of your families, because I know your family and I know Bella's family.
