Tupac Murder Case Finally Closes | Entertainment and Celebrity News

After decades of mystery, Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been found guilty in the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur — a verdict that closes a long-running chapter in hip-hop history. The prosecution built its case on Davis’s own writings and interviews, portraying him as the mastermind who orchestrated the ambush during Tupac’s Vegas ride with Suge Knight. But Davis later admitted fabricating parts of his story to sell books, even blaming his co-author for embellishments. His defense argued the evidence was weak, and he pleaded not guilty at trial. Complicating matters: a recording surfaced where Davis claimed his nephew pulled the trigger and expected payment from Diddy — though Diddy denies any involvement. Now, justice has finally been served, bringing closure to one of music’s most haunting unsolved tragedies.
