About this episode

“Guaranteed Human Ready to feel energized and in control again? At Orderly Meds, we have helped thousands just like you take charge of their health with a GLP1.”From the transcript

A payroll mistake accidentally gave a station cleaner a $620K paycheck and somehow, nobody noticed until months later. The money still hasn’t been returned, so the show debates what they’d do with that kind of unexpected cash. Of course, Bobby already has a plan. Amy talks about her 'friend' who was dating a really wealthy man. She found out about a secret group of wealthy men and wonders if Bobby is a part of it. Lunchbox has a question over why Chase Matthew bought Jason Aldean a car as a gift when he thinks it should be the other way around.

This family is fighting over a $10,000 scratch off because he paid for the ticket. She picked it, the sister, it won.

So now what? A $10,000 winning scratch off ticket as a family pretty divided. A 27 year old gave his sister $20 to grab him a few scratch offs and one hit big winning $10 grand. Now, the sister has demanded a cut for physically selecting the lucky ticket. He offered her $100. She paid in her, but their mom has taken a sister's side, creating some family tension. All right, that's from Fox 5 Atlanta. Who gets what money? What do you think? Well, I think she needs more than $100 and some dinner. Like, he wouldn't have won if she hadn't selected it. Okay, fair. Did they have this agreement before she went and picked the ticket? No, but just a good brother. Yeah, okay, maybe he's not a good brother. He doesn't sound like it. So he's going to get basically send him up $7,500 after taxes. Okay. I think he could have broke her off $500. I was going to say $1,000. Oh, that's a lot. That's a lot. He wouldn't have had zero without her.

Or it's the next one up and he possibly could have also bought the ticket. We don't know that. But we don't know the other way either. Eddie, your thoughts, man, you know where my mind went was half because of it. Oh, my goodness. You're out of your mind. It is a team effort. I don't hate it. He bought it. She picked the numbers. Half and half. No, no numbers. She wouldn't have gotten to scratch off. Okay. She picked the scratch off. It's the next one out of the row. I didn't know how many scratch off rolls. Not many if they're $20 tickets. At least five. Depends. Depends. I think $500 was good. More than what he did. Lunchbox. Listen, if she was this concerned before going into it, she should have said, if you win, you owe me this much. She can't be choosy. Hey, he's giving you $100 in a dinner. That's more than he is required to give you. You should take it and walk away happy. I'm with this dude. Oh, so you like his offer. I like his offer. It's absolutely fair because if there was an agreement going in, I totally get it. But all of a sudden you want to be like, oh, now that you won money, you owe me something

na, na, na. So he says $100. I would have said $500. You would have said $1000. And you say half. Eddie, you were out of your mind. No, I don't think Eddie would actually do that. He wouldn't get to half. Not only once. I'm just a jury, guys. It's not me. If it were me, I'd be fighting like both of them. There was a payroll mistake and it paid this person $620,000. The company did not notice the error. So they had the money. I believe they took the money. The money still hasn't been returned. So I want to play you this. This is from CB Eschicago. The agency known as Marta says a station cleaner was mistakenly paid $620,000 in April. They did not notice the clerical error until July. Marta says that money has still not been returned. Now the agency is filing a civil lawsuit to recover it. And Atlanta employment attorney says that worker could also be charged with criminal theft for keeping money that does not belong to them. They didn't steal it, but by keeping it, they're retaining something that doesn't belong

to them and the lock and let you collect on that. That's so much money. Like you know immediately that there's been a mess up. For me, I think I need to report this immediately because I'm scared. For sure. However, not everybody thinks like me and a scared. They go, well, how about this? It's my lucky day. Sounds like they went, I don't know what they did with it, but if they haven't returned it, I would bet they've spent some of it. Let me ask you this. What if you fully intend on returning it and you don't want to spend any of it, but you don't know how long they're going to take to discover that you have it. Do you go ahead and take that money and drop it into a high yield, high yielding savings account and earn 5%. Can you do that? Yes. Then you give the 620 back and you take the 5% that you just earn. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Because that's the only safe way to do it. You can't invest in something where you could lose money, but you could earn money. That's the smart way. I've often thought about being a general manager for many fanatical football leagues that want to have all that money and investing it and then just keeping the interest and paying it out because you're holding it for seven months.

Oh, that's not bad. And you're giving it back. But that's not your money to make that choice. But that's what I'm paying for. But you have it in your account. You have it in your, no, I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but it's in your account. You have to give it back when they ask. Oh, no. And so if they don't ask for eight months and you've had an in a bank account that's rate, it's just keeping interest. You give them the 620 back. You just made yourself $40,000. And if you put it in that account, Amy's talking about, can you just get it out that day? Yes. Yeah, it's liquid. Oh, wow. That would have been the smart way to do. Okay, no problem. I've got it. Oh, wow. Wow. Yeah, that's a lot of money. I'll get that right back to you. I bet this person didn't do that. No, no, no. It is odd. You can be charged with a crime for their mess up. I'm not saying you shouldn't because if you refuse to give it back and you know it wasn't yours, but if that's an odd thing, it's like when you win in Vegas on a slot machine, but they go, the slot machine messed up. You don't get the money. You're like, wait, no, no, you messed up. That happens. That should be it all the time. How? 10% fee on this. If you mess up and you give somebody money that's not theirs, you should get it back except

for 10%. That's the 10% mess up fee. So this person would get to keep $62,000. That's fair. I feel like if I were the judge of the world, that's what I would do. I feel like this person went into spin it. I don't know. I feel like they went and spin it. I went crazy. Because this guy talking nailed it. He was like, it's not stealing. Tecnic. But it is against the law. But it is against the law. Imagine you opened your account. Eddie, today you get online. There's $620,000 in there that you shouldn't have or that you're confused about having. What do you do today? Oh my gosh. That would be amazing. What it though? Because you know it's not yours. Do anything with it. Well, now Amy gave me the best idea ever. I'm going to open up with those high yield accounts. But before I knew that though, I probably would just call the company and be like, you made a mistake. But I would probably, I would first enjoy seeing the money in my account, show my wife, look how much money I got. Once the company paid me considerably extra, it was a mess up and I saw it and I thought, well, maybe I just did great work.

This is five, six years ago. They came back and got it about eight months later and they said, hey, we're not going to pay you this next check because we gave you too much money. Oh, that's how they get it. I was going to ask how they got it. They garnish the old wages. Lunchbox, what do you do if it comes into your account? Oh my gosh, I'm celebrating, probably going out to dinner and you know what, I may be looking for a new job because you just got paid out and you think, hey, I got a bonus $600,000. You know, that's not your real bonus. You know you're going to have to pay it back. My question is, if you quit, what can they do? Well, they're going to come out. You should have said that. I'm not saying that. You should have said that. You should have said that. You should have said that. The law is not if you work for the person. A bank can put accidental money in someone's account that is not working for them and they have to give it back. Yeah. I just, I feel like that's a weird thing in the law. Like you need to check some balances. You need to double check your work. If I walk out of the three. Well, that's not checks and balances for the record. That's just double checking. It sounded good. And I give someone $100. Oh, actually, I didn't mean to give it to you. You got to give it back. He's not going to give it back. But as a human, you're not going to do that. This is a technical computer error.

The same thing with the slot machines. So I also think you'd probably call the company because you would also know eventually they're going to get it back. Or you just hope that they're not very good. You could hope, but I'd be so tight. I'd be so scared. Anytime I got a call from anyone at the company, I'd be like, oh, God, they're on to me. They know I got the money. Could you move like get out of the country? Yes. Is it worth changing your life over $600,000? Would you move to Mexico and change your complete life? Okay, pick a country. Canada. Would you move to Canada and change your complete life for $620,000? Yes. You might have to pick somewhere. I don't know how expensive Canada is, but you might need to notice somewhere cheaper. Oh, Canada sounds nice. You would move your whole life. You're kids. You got to sell your house. Get to retire for $620,000. I mean, that's a lot of money. It's a lot of money, but is it worth changing your full life over? Yeah. It is. Yeah, I think so. A free 600,000, where you don't have to work for a few years. Oh, my goodness. But you would move your whole life. How do you take yourself out of the game for a few years? No, but you would never, you can't ever come back. Yeah, you're done.

You're done. You're done. You're going to jail if you come back. No, no, because listen, the company would quit looking for you at our couple years. For 600,000, they were not. They were not. Interesting story. Don't know who the person is. I can just imagine their eyeballs when they saw their balance. There was a story of this person who was going to go on a date. She said, the millionaire I was supposed to go on a date with sent me a list of requirements. And one was an NDA just to go on the date. So this is from someone named Landry. Hit that clip. He claims he's a millionaire. This is the list. For your state requirements, please read before accepting my invitation. I will require an NDA to be signed. I'll send a link to your email if you just reply with it. You must be emotionally available, but not overly emotional. You must have your own car. I will not be picking you up. I have a driver. You need to be comfortable with spontaneous international travel. Please have a passport with at least six months remaining. You must be able to order confidently at a restaurant without saying whatever you want. No posting me on social media until our third date. If the date goes well, you may receive a second date invitation within three to five

business days. She makes this up. Sounds like someone just looking for clicks, right? Because it went viral. And I thought, what dude would send this to anyone that they want to go on a date with? Here's why guys go on dates with girls. Because they want to hook up for the most part. And then hopefully it turns into something. That's most guys. And I don't really feel comfortable signing any sort of NDA where you want to put me on a plane and take me to another country and then later I can't say what happened to me. If it's illegal, you can. NDAs don't cover promise. Oh, is that only one of the same thing? Yeah, you guys are so... What? You don't sign an NDA ahead and then they commit crimes against you. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't know. I just think if you get all of this, you're probably not going to go on the date with the dude. Just in general. Unless it is somebody so famous and so rich you're willing to jump through all these hoops. But I felt like she was making that up. My friend went out on somebody's sewerage like that. I mean, maybe even more.

I had no idea how the life they live, like just being casually on a date. Like planes who just picked them up all the time wherever they wanted to go. They would go to dinner. She was just telling me about this the other night and I thought that's wild. To like date someone. Like money was so not an object. Like dinner in Paris? No problem. Wait, and then come back the same day. What? Well, there are so many hours in the day. Yeah, I mean, yeah, they'd stay, but they would hop on a private plane and go. Like I, he made something monogon friends. Whenever she started dating, he was the, it ended up being the UFC, the MMA fighter. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, he's played by John, whoever the director is, and whatever. Fabro? John Favreau, yeah. John Favreau was the actor. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know this. Well, I just, she just told me about it the other night and I haven't told you about it. That's why. I just learned, but it was pretty crazy. She said he's part of some group. I probably shouldn't say, but there's a group of, uh, a little naughty. No, then I know them. I'm part of it. I'll ask you off air if you know this group, but it's a group of really wealthy men and

they gather. And she said that I don't know. I don't know. I didn't say now. I don't have, there's no group of really wealthy men that I hang out with. I don't know any group. I'm not a part of any group. I'm not saying you were a good part of it. I mean, I know I had never heard of it. In fact, I probably now that we're talking about it, I need to Google it because it's sort of knowing. And that he would like, she was talking to one of the other guys in the group and she didn't know this about the guy she was out with, but he was like, yeah, like your guy. Yeah, well, you have to have a certain amount to even be in this group and he could buy all of us. And she was like, I think she's still single. I'm interested. Uh, yeah, he actually, that's crazy. I've met a few billionaires, but never been close enough to one to see the life of someone who doesn't think about money. And the people I know that have money, they still think about money because the people I know that have money didn't have money for a lot of their lives. They still think about money. Does that make sense? Yeah.

Well, I had money though. That's how I would live. Yeah, she told me this. It's a different guy. That's not, that's not having money. Oh, this is like whatever you want. Like she told me a story of me. That's having a real, like no filter type money. Again, I don't know anybody that has that kind of money. Yeah. For example, I'll just use this type of band because it's this caliber like say journeys on stage and they had this other friend with them. That's like a singer songwriter and he wanted to hear her sing. So he went and took journey off stage and like God, the singer songwriter up there because like he was that he was in charge of like I'm just hype that it's a band like journey. Okay. But he went up and he was like, Hey guys, can you go ahead and do that? Did you kick the lead singer off and she play with the band? With the band. Yeah. She didn't kick the full band just like imagine like just casually being at this. Me and Merund try it. Adam off. I was gonna sing. Yes. And then all the crowd has to watch her sing. Yes. Oh boy. Yes. And it be like how weird is that to just like casually go up to someone of that caliber

and be like, Hey, I need my friend to come up here and sing a song. Is that cool? And they're like, Yeah, man, no problem. Whatever you want. Wow. Must have been he paid for the band, the original band. Yeah, yeah. Probably. Yeah. Probably. Billionaires have I ever met. Mark Cuban. Mm-hmm. The guy that owns the insurance place or the money, the wealth, the financial place. Oh, Charles Schwab. I met the actual Charles Schwab. Yeah, yeah. That's cool. Yeah, he. He's alive. He is alive. Today, I'm not sure. But he was when I met him. So I met him. Jerry Jones. Jerry Jones. Met Jerry Jones. No, that was crazy because we just went and got in his helicopter and rode with him. To the game and into his own hanger. That was, but again, I'm not with him in like normal life. So I think there's only three billionaires. That is. Johnny Morris. Johnny Morris. Bass Pro Shop owner. I do know John. I probably know Johnny the best because like we text occasionally. It's four. That's probably it for billionaires.

I mean, I've met Michael Dell. Taylor is now a billionaire. Swift. Oh, Taylor. Yeah. It's Garth Brooks a billionaire. Probably not. He don't ever know, but they don't put Garth a billionaire. He could be, but I think those are my, that's my list. I remember when we met Jerry, he just smelled like money. Money. Like that's the only way. Alone he was wearing. He didn't smell like actual money, but I remember thinking like gosh, that smells like money. He just smells rich. There's a story about what your go-to curse words says about you. We're not going to say any curse words, but we can say the first letter. And so I guess my go-to curse word would be dang though. Okay. Yeah, because you don't test. That's as far as you go. What does that say about me that my curse words dang? Wayne. No, I think it's good. Wayne, you're careful. You don't live life too crazy. Okay. Yeah. What would yours be? What letter? So it's probably D too, but it's more like I'll be dang. Yeah, but not that.

But that. Other word, my dad said that all the time. So I probably say the D word the most, but I mean. Here's what it says about you. You feel pressure, but you're trying to contain it. You're under control most of the time. I'm not a sat-dak-rin. I'm not a sat-dak-rin. Eddie, F, but I like it as an adjective like a F in. Can front pressure head on and don't pull any punches? Okay, that's kind of weird, but because that doesn't sound like me, but yeah, that's what I do. You say F, you don't really do this. No, I don't do that. Lunchbox? Affin. Yeah. Yeah. But y'all are just using it. Yeah, to describe words, you're never just like, oh, F. Like, dude, I am so tired. No, oh, you're, you know what I mean? Descript or always script or. They're never like, well, fudge. No, I think lunchbox says that. No, I do do. Yeah. Oh, I do not like that. I say crap a lot. Oh, yeah, you do. Yeah. Like, what is this crap? I'm a big crap and danger. The knot puts out the top wedding trends every year here are the ones for this year.

I don't know. This just sounds very, very bougie. Antique lace swans, whimsical florals. I don't even know what this stuff means. Did you have swans at your wedding? I don't know. Swans? I don't know. We had musicians floating in the pool on. Oh, that's what it was. On floating. Yes. There were little mini boats and they were playing their their violins and stuff. You had real musicians floating in the pool. They all had their little boats and they were all just playing instruments. I didn't remember that. I didn't know if it was a swan or a person. Yeah, I don't remember swan as a person. That's crazy. And then they after they played at the pool pre-wedding, they went down and played at the actual wedding. Okay. So when they were playing all the songs, they were playing those on five pieces. It made sense. It made sense. Yeah. Cultural menus, honoring cultural roots with food as in other way couples are making their

weddings more personal and unique. I like that. Well, Mike did that. Mike had a margarita machine. Taco truck. Legit. Oh, yeah, taco truck too. Yeah. Yeah, that was legit. Sophisticated colors. What comes to mind when I say Sophisticated color? I don't understand any of this. Merlot, plum, moss are all Sophisticated colors. Okay. So just not like purple and red. Did you know where in the middle of the silver age? I don't know what that means. Gold is here to stay, but silver is having its moment. Really? Like silver jewelry? Well, silver as this on the stationary, on the dinnerware, other accessories during the wedding. And then analog registries. Some couples are going retro with the registries opting for items like old school cocktail glasses or vintage style record players and camcorders. Now, I don't do that. Guys, you're just going to, this stuff's going to sit in a room. It's going to sit in an attic. Get stuff you can use. Get stuff for the kitchen. Get stuff for the house. Get towels. Doesn't seem glamorous now, but you're going to be happy that you got those.

There's something called IMS. And I was asked, is this Eddie or lunch box? Oh. IMS is irritable male syndrome. Oh. Like IBS. It's when men get more irritable and less motivated as they get older. It's also linked to testosterone decline. Oh, Eddie. Yeah, that's me. Now, it's not an official medical diagnosis, but they say it is a way to describe changes some inexperience as they get older. Men will complain more about their life or their wives. That sounds like you do. You always complain about your wife. Well, yeah, she does. And life. She does mess up a lot. And you're always irritated. If you're experiencing irritable male syndrome, exercise, eat healthy, get better sleep, in long periods, just chilling out. I like that. Who has more irritable male syndrome? Lunch box. I think so too. The only thing I put Eddie on is the low testosterone. Yeah.

Although lunch is wasn't high. This is low motivation too. That's Eddie. But lunch box is irritable. What do you mean I'm low motivation? And Eddie complains about his day and his family. Oh, I got four kids. Yeah, I got a wife. Oh, I got a wife. I never said I got a wife. I got to get out of bed. I think it's close between the two for different reasons. For different reasons, but I think lunch is a little ahead. The word irritable makes it lunch box. Correct. And that's in the back of your mind. I think that's why because you guys are pretty close. You're neck and neck. It's a photo finish. I would say that the older I've gotten, the less happy go lucky I am. I think that's the low T. And you probably you say you're working on it. Oh, yeah, I worked out. I've been working out. Okay. The diet kind of goes back. I worked out to I've been working out. I really feel like that. I mean, you worked out one time. You worked out one time. Yeah. This week. The diet goes back and forth, you know, just because I get tired. And it's football season. Yeah, it's football season gets me every time. Would you pull your kid out of school for a family vacation?

Yes. Not even thinking twice about it. You? Yes, did it. For a full week. Oh, it's a full week. Yeah, the family vacation's not two days. No, no, no, no. No, no, no. I mean, yes. And that's going to a full week is hard. But yes, if that's when we have to take family vacation and yeah. And we can't do it during spring break, fall break, winter break, all the other. Yeah, there's a lot of breaks. So many breaks. That's one of the arguments is now there's so many breaks. You can't find it during a break. So week is a long time. Again, our child is not in school yet. So only six months old, hard for me to have an idea here. But I would say no right now. Really? A week is a long time. A day, a day especially is fine. Yeah, like a Friday. Because I think you can get some real like core memories from that. We're talking about a vacation. Yeah. Would you take your kid out for a whole week during spring break? If that's the only time we could do it, I think the experience and the memories and the togetherness is a family, trumps, whatever they would learn in school that week. So yes.

Your thoughts? Because it depends on what we're doing. Like we're going Cincinnati. I mean, not worth it. Nothing gets Cincinnati. But if we're going to go to like, how? Why? Yes. You have four kids. They all have to catch up for a week. I know it's tough. But you do it. I think it'd be worth it. For me, when I look back at my childhood, what do I remember? School? No. Vacations? Yes. Do you think if you'd cared about school more, you'd remember school more? Maybe, but like really, the vacations are like core, core, core memories in my mind. And I'm 47 years old. I just come out from a different place and never went on vacation. Enjoyed learning at school and hate being behind. I do think whenever Billy gets older, I'll probably be like, of course, we'll take a month off. Heck, we'll homeschool for a semester if we go abroad. I'll be down with this dump here. I'll be just traveling the world, taking her places. But I was reading stories about that. If it's good or not, take your kid out of school for a whole week. Couple days, I think that's fine. Yeah.

It's so hard to catch up though if you're behind a week. Well, I think what you can do is work with the school and the teachers and the tradition. That's not a vacation. No, you don't do work on the vacation. Vacation is like, there is no school. Okay. And you just say you missed a week. You know what I mean? In the long run, is that really going to kill you? Not really. And then you might eat up all your absences though. Oh, okay. And all of a sudden you're truing in jail. You're like, how'd you get in? My parents took me to Cincinnati. It depends too on the grade. Like second grade, you don't need it. Does it depend on how good a student your kid is? Because if they're a really good student, it's probably easier to take them out for next time. Oh, oh, interesting. I thought the other way. Like, if they're a bad student, it doesn't matter if they're a missing school anyway. No, no, no, no. That's not easy or the other way because they're completely caught up. They're good at their studies. It's not as big of a deal if they do miss. That's interesting. But they might be like you where they might fight the parents and be like, what? I don't want to miss school for a year. You guys go. I'll stay home and take care of myself. They tried to execute this woman last night who was on death row and they shot her up a two doses of lethal injection and she's like, all right, appreciate that. Didn't die. Like she was scoring. She was scoring. Yeah, she's like, she's good. She's not good, but she ain't bad. That's crazy. Yeah, so officials were unable to carry out the execution of Christa Pike last night. After she remained conscious following two doses of the lethal injection drug, Pinto

Barbadol. She had been set to become the first woman executed in Tennessee in more than 200 years. Media witnesses say she was still awake more than 40 minutes after the final dose. So they paused the execution for a while. You got to stay, I read. And then the Supreme Court allowed it to continue, but they're not saying, I don't know if they know what happens next. I don't know. You just keep. I mean, I like what? Yeah, what? What's the difference? Like if I'm still hungry, I keep eating. I had more. So they didn't finish. I mean, I don't want atlisten. This is not really my thing, but it was. What's the new thing? I don't want to be like killer. Yeah, but you know, if it's already part of the plan and you've already started the process, yeah, what we have to do like a secret line to the Supreme Court. Well, this was before. So she got to stay in the execution before they went to the Supreme Court. Supreme Court said go. They boom, boom, then she doesn't die. Okay, I missed her. I thought I knew they had to do that. But I thought if it didn't work, they have to run it up the line again. Well, I don't know that they know what they're doing now.

Yeah, because maybe this is her attorneys filed an emergency motion saying, so as a hard beat has not lost consciousness, the curtain covering, the chamber was lower twice when this is where later, a score to out. She's still alive. Wow. Maybe it's a sign. Do they only have two there and they go, well, we're out. That was it. Yeah, I guess we, huh. We don't. There's no third, Tom. That's crazy. Yeah. Imagine if you're her and you wake up. I know. You're like, oh, is this heaven? You must have dead. Yeah. You're like, oh, it's just the same. Man, hell's like prison, dude. You guys call us if you want. We'd love to hear from you. 877-77 Bobby. All right, Gina and St. Louis. Hey, Gina, you're on the show. Good morning, studio. How are you? Morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good. Good morning. I was just calling about the recent story.

We're just talking about the young lady in Tennessee that had gone through the execution process and was still alive. I had seen where she had asked to be hanged instead of the lethal injection. And they had turned her down on that. And the reason they didn't do the electrical chair is she apparently had Buddhist and it was against her religion. So it will be very interesting to see what steps are taken next. Well, for the record, it is against my religion to be put to death for any reason. And then also, it's against my religion to be held in prison for any crime I can admit. That's good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I didn't think you can do the electric chair anymore. That's the guy that's still in the upper chain. Yeah, this is not a, maybe you can't, but federal is not the thing here. It's all state by state. Definitely hanging. I haven't seen that. Well, they do firing squad in some places. She's the least.

The hanging, it's too much twitching. Yeah. Well, I was in the movies, in the movies. Well, yeah, I've never seen one in a while. That's like, Kim Kardashian signed a fans Birken bag. It was worth $45,000. I bet you that bag is now worth $100,000. Oh, I was gonna ask you, do you think it goes up in value or down? For sure. Okay. I bet you if they sold it now, it'd be worth $100,000. Like Kim Kardashian signed Birken bag, especially with the market now and everything that is collectible. I mean, this is, the bubble's gonna pop eventually, but right now everything is going for a time. Taylor Swift's Beverly Hills home, where she wrote her 1989 album, is on the market for $8 million. So 1.5 acres, she wrote 1989 while living there. It's four beds, five baths, main house guest house, pickleball court. Oh, right there. Go find your name, too. You buy it. A motor court that fits eight cars. Whoa. That's what gets you know. I don't know what that means, a motor court. Does that mean a garage? I guess so.

Yeah, I thought it fits eight cars. Yeah, so. I think it's a race track. Yeah, especially on a 1.5 acre. Yeah, that's a lot of that. I also, yeah, probably just spacious driveway, like court. That's so cool. Yeah, so if you guys are interested, it's up, it's up for sale. Go and zillow that thing. Yeah, no, it's nice. It's just everything costs so much more out there. Is there a, it doesn't give like square foot, huh? Square footage. Because I'm telling you, oh, here we go. No, just the acreage. I mean, it's fine. Look, it's just everything's so much more expensive out there. You'd probably get that here for 300,000. Oh, really? No, I'm kidding. A little bit. Julie, online eight in Pennsylvania. Let's go talk to her. Hey, Julie. Hey. You're on. All right. My question is, like, OK, so they tried to execute her. Needless to say, that was watched.

So do they render aid to her and then trying to re-kill her? That's interesting because since she's alive, do you just keep watching her to see if eventually she goes down? Or do you, because you're not going to do that, try to get her back alive to then just try to kill her again? I've never heard of this happening with someone before. Although this is not in my algorithm. People being put to death, I think because locally, there's a thing and also that it's been 200 years since a woman has been put to death. That was a story. Yeah, that's a great question. I don't know. I'm surprised that they just quit. Yeah. They're like, OK, too. That's it. Also, is that a weight height and weight? Because if you got a big dude, 310 pounds, it's even more. You may need three. Yeah, it's a good question, Julie. You don't know the answer to that, either? No. Well, I appreciate that. We'll look it up. I don't know if there's ever been a precedent. But we'll look that up. The Taylor Swift house is 4,000 square feet, 8 million bucks.

Wow. 1.5 acres. That's crazy. Yeah. And there is no race car track on this. You guys hit us up if you want 877-77 Bobby back in a second. All right. Let's go to Justin and Jacksonville. Justin, what's up, buddy? Hey, what's going on? Morning, studio. Morning. Oh, I love that part. First time caller, long time listener. So the other day, Eddie was talking about the dishwasher incident where he's afraid to hold the dish washer down and leave it down while putting up dishes. And I thought he was ridiculous. And here we are a few weeks later and we're in the kitchen. And my girlfriend is unloading the dishwasher, has the dishwasher down and cooking at the same time. She stops to go stir the mashed potatoes. And I go in between the dishwasher and the sink to grab a cup. And I turn around and I slam right into the dishwasher that was open. And the only thing I could think about while screaming and hurting all my shit was damn Eddie was right. Yeah. Eddie, thoughts? Yeah, man.

And it's crazy because I didn't think about that either until I watched that movie Garden State, but that's how his mom died. In the movie, in the movie, his mom had tripped over a dishwasher and the dad was upset because the kid had left the dishwasher open. So it's kind of this thing that hung over him his whole life. Like you left it open, you killed your mom. And ever since that, I'm like, it's true. Like, and I've seen it to where my kids are running around. We're trying to cook. Somebody could easily fall backwards in that, hit their head, and it's over. But they have it in your house. No, because of Garden State, the movie. Justin, you all right? Everything good? You shins? Yeah, man, everything's good. I'm back at work today. It's all good. I just figured, you know, I thought I was like, man, no way that's ever possible, the possible outcome because that happened. And it happened. So I just wanted to call in like and talk, talk about it. So this is awesome being on the show. Trying to get out to your cruise coming up. I don't think I'm going to make it this year. I'm going to try to do it next. If you're doing it next year, I just recently, I'm on a sobriety track from alcohol.

And if I make two years sober, that's going to be my gift to me is coming out to the cruise to see you all on Meet y'all. Oh, that's awesome. Good luck. Yeah, good. I think that's a response from a decision by you to not come yet. I'm going to tell you about Amy and those Lyshey Martinez. Well, it took everything in my power not to put in the code bones for the free drink package. And I'm like, now I'm going to go and go and get you. Okay. Yeah, that's a good self awareness. Hey, congratulations so far on how far you've made it. And every day, man, one day at a time, obviously, keep up to good work. And thanks for the call. Yep. Y'all have a great day. All right. There's Justin. Hey, Ray. Hit a voicemail. I was just listening to the voicemail somebody left asking if there would be a punishment. If lunchbox was found to be guilty of the pizza prank on Amy. I was wondering if Bobby, if you ever did an NLR or lunchbox to see if he was actually telling the truth. He did. And he lied about it. Will there be a punishment for that? I haven't purposefully. We're going to bring the lie detector in. That's better. Scoob and I were kind of lining up dates to get the polygraph machine in. The hurdle has been I have to pay all $1100 for out of my own pocket.

And a lot of that goes to like the operator too. It's just his feet. Yeah, it's his business. Yeah. Who else would have got to? I guess just the rental machine. He has one. He has one. So that is in the works to do to get the lie detector up here. We'll ask him a bunch of questions, lunchbox. But we'll end with did he send the pizzas to Amy's house that made her move from her house because it was happening so often. Can we start collecting questions? Write them down. Love it. I have many. Okay, good. All right, thank you for the call. Thank you for the voicemails. Anytime you guys want to reach out to us, 877-77-Bob. So I ordered some food last night from Uber Eats and I'm waiting for it and I get a message from the delivery person that says, hey, I'm a couple blocks down the road. Can you come get the food? And no, because it's a delivery service. That's weird. And so I respond and I say, hey, you're two blocks from my house. I can see you. Can you just drive to my house and drop it off at the door? And they wrote, no, I'm camping here until you come get the food.

Whoa. So I screenshot it and send it to my wife. I think they're holding my food hostage. And so I say, no, I can't have the baby. Not that that matters, but I was just trying to then like guilt them into coming. Can you please bring the food to my house? And I could see the car starting to trickle forward. Trickle, trickle, trickle. So and this is about 10 minutes and it was really weird. And I was just on constant communication in the app with the Uber Eats driver who refused to drive and drop the food off of my house. And so finally, after about 15 minutes of going, please just come and drop it off. I see the car come up the driveway very slowly and they stop way before they got to my house and they get out of the car. They have the bag of food and they're like walking in the front yard with the bag of food. I don't know what's going on. I don't know if they're drunk. If they're up to no good, they're have cameras. And so they're walking.

They have the bag of food and they're walking all around the front yard looking around trees. They're like, hey, and they walked the food up. At this point, I'm not going to take the food hand because I don't know what they're going to do. And so they dropped the food off and then they just kind of are walking around, looking around. They're just sitting their car for like 10 minutes before they leave. The whole thing. I'm scared. Yes, the bizarre. So I then I get my burner, which is my gun type situation, my launcher. Just I don't have it out. I'm not waving it in the air. But I walk out and I'm like, hey, you guys need to go. And so because there were two people in the car, but only one was getting out. I didn't see the second person. And so they finally drive out. And about 15 minutes later, I hear someone walking on the front porch, the steps. And like I see a little movement and Stanley starts barking. And I'm like, okay, here we go. Somebody's about to get hit or shot or hurt. And I go up and I run up and it's the Amazon driver dropping off the package. There wasn't even the weird Uber driver that was bringing my food, but the Amazon driver

almost suffered because the weirdo Uber Eats driver was in my house. But why would we see not originally going to bring you the food that's so relaxing? Yeah, and then why were they walking in your yard? I was also worried that my food was tampered with. Oh, yeah. But everything was still sealed. So I ate it. But my wife was even freaking it. I was like, what is, what's even happening right now? I would be freaking out too. I would be like, just forget it. Food's not worth it. It was. That was so hungry. Or place another order. But also you need to report that somehow. The fact that they set two blocks away and they made, they want to meet it come get the food from the car. Weird. Because they wrote, and this is the text, because I screenshot it. The thing about in the app, it goes away. Once they drop the food off, all your communication goes away with them. But I sent Caitlin this last night. I was like, bring the food and camping. And then I wrote, keep driving. I can't come out. I am camping. What does that even mean? I am the company. I am. Yeah. They're like, yeah, I'm camping. Come get your own food.

But like literally, like they're this, that's where they camp. No, Amy, they're not in a campsite. No, they're like, they're camping. They were on the side of the road. They want to be able to come get their food. You think they're doing smorzing? I never understood it. No, that was like the verbiage for it was bizarre. When you're a food delivery person and you're refusing to drop it off at the house, that it's considered camping. Is it normal for them to be in twos like somebody else in the car? Yeah, that happens sometimes because people will just turn on their Uber and they'll go pick up food or their with somebody. Yeah, I've seen that before. It's sometimes the whole family draws off my food. Oh, all right. Oh, you need to never get that person again. You can't control who you get. So you didn't report them or anything? No, and not because I didn't want to be like, oh, who knows if I haven't a bad day. I should have. I was just shocked. And then too, I think I thought about it again. But then someone was on my porch and I thought it was them again and it was the Amazon driver. No more Amazon deliveries at night. That shouldn't happen either. But you have a weird night. By 90 seconds on the clock, how many of Amy's morning corny's can we get right?

Guys, you ready? Ready? Amy, ready? Ready. And go, Ray. The morning corny. Why is it easy to trick a leaf in October? Fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, fall, everything. Okay. What kind of vest should you wear during autumn? Camouflage of vest. Leaf vest. Fall vest. What kind of vest? Sleeveless. Vest. In vest. What was it for? What would you say? What kind of vest should you wear during autumn? Autumn. Autumn. Pumpkin spice. Pumpkin. Um, thankful vest. Oh, invest. Well, ready again. What kind of vest should you wear during autumn? What are you doing? October vest. Cool vest. Halloween. Vestable. Um, corn of vest. The red leaves. You invest in harvest. Chame. Harvest. Yes. Good job. Oh, my god. Good job.

Why did the pumpkin pie go to the dentist? The cavity. At Jackalandern. Good to filling. Yes. Okay. What do you call a corn that joins the army? Corn. Corn, a co-opier. Corn, a kernel. Corn, a kernel. A kernel. A good one. How does a scarecrow drink his coffee? Straw. Yes, okay. That's good. Nailed it, good job. Why did the corn win the race? Why didn't the corn win the race? Too slow. Too slow. He got it. Corn. You gotta, you gotta, uh, husk, husk, husk. Hust up. Hust. Hust? Hust. They got caught on the cob. They got corn on the cob? Got busted by the cob. Got it. They got cobbled. Like Rob. Why didn't the corner win the race? It caught. It caught. That was the longest minute ever. It was. In 30, that's why it felt so long. It's always 90 seconds. Do you think 90 seconds is a minute? No, I didn't. Wow. Whatever time you'll give yourselves, I don't know. I'm worried about delivering the jokes. Don't tell us that one we didn't get.

Go through the ones we got first. Why is it easy to trick a leaf in October? Okay. Because they fall for anything. Yes. What kind of vest should you wear during autumn? Why did the pumpkin pie go to the dentist? You're feeling filling. What do you call a corn that joins the army? Cornal. Okay. How does a scarecrow drink his coffee? It was a straw. That's a good one. Why didn't the corn win the race? Man, we were almost one away from setting the, well, tying the record. What was the answer? Because it got too husky. Y'all are so close. Y'all said husky. Husky. I just remember jeans being that, yeah, the size back in the day. There's a diaper size. Do you leave out? There is a diaper size. It was jeans. Yeah, like you get your knee and leave eyes and they'd be in husky size. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Hey, we got five. All right. We got a question for your body. Would baby Billy here have the extra exhaustion helped at all with your insomnia? Just curious of the show. Not really. I don't know if insomnia, maybe that's just a universal term you use for, because I wake

up in the middle of the night like this. Insomnia I think just not being able to go to sleep, but it could just be a term used for not being, I don't know, but no, no, I still struggle with that. Mine's probably just like a crazy amount of neurosis constantly living in my brain, just worms in my brain all the time, just one of the other. That's what it feels like, all the time. So no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Next one. Hi, I'm always wondering, why did Eddie do before this and how did he come to this job? I don't think I've heard that story. I know that Amy sold granted and you have been the radio for a long time, then you worked at Hobby Lobby a long, long time ago. But what did Eddie do before? And what have lunchbox? What was her job before they met you? I'm not curious. Eddie? Yeah, so before this, I worked in the news. I was a cameraman for the news, but then Bobby and I met at a TV station where it was like a music entertainment TV station. Bobby was like on air VJ. I was the producer. And that company went down and then I went back to news and then I joined the show

after that. I was never fired for that company. It went down. I'm still haven't been fired. Like they told all of us, like, hey, company is no longer. I never heard from them. I just stopped going in. Yeah. You never, who do you reach out to? Never. I think I told you, right? I'm still getting checks. That's not true. Oh, I'm having money. And lunchbox? Yeah, I was a delivery driver for Jason Zellie when I met Bobby. Before that, I worked at Sam's Club, picking up shopping carts out of the parking lot. And then I was a delivery driver making a straight cash and then boom here. Just like that boom. Boom. Easy as pie. You guys have any questions like that? Hit us up. 877-77 Bobby. All right. What's the game? So I'm going to play you a famous catchphrase from a TV show. You guys just name the character. Example? Hey, hey, hey, hey. What is going on here? Amy. Mr. Belling, say by the bell. Yeah. You can turn to get the extra point for say by the bell? Like trying to brag a little bit? Oh, Flex. If you missed that, though, you're going to miss the whole thing. Special shout out to him.

Rest in peace. Yeah, now we feel bad. Oh, yeah, good. That's on us. Rest in peace. That's on us. How many you got here? Five? Yep. You guys ready? Ready. Yep. Go ahead number one. OK. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right. Lunchbox. That is Fonzarelli. Arthur Fonzarelli. Did you write that down? What did you write down? Why did you look at your paper? Why have F-O when you said for my answer? Like I hadn't written it. Oh, written. We'll give this one to him. Oh, my gosh. Amy. Yeah, I have the Fonz. Yeah. He just looked at me like, uh, right, Rita, uh. Eddie, I have the Fonz. OK, good. ちょhtney Addie. He never heard from the McGee. All right. In number two did that one again? We heard the WE ausge of Gloria Baja, but then when she did something, that's going to be super easy right now. And now she has the Preichen on the keyboard mouse suggestion. Yeah, yeah, very well. I love her. Oh my gosh. I love her. I heard from the McGat.

I'm in. You can. Who is that? Five seconds. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. All right. Diada, diada, diada. I never heard from the McGat. Eddie, I have Janice from Friends. Yeah. Lunchbox. I have a Lane Binness. Yeah, that's who it is. A Lane. A Lane from Saita. I think I'm so microloan. It really didn't. But that's the diada. Yeah, I know you got it. You can't skip the diada. But that is her. I know. Yeah, sounds like it. All right, next. What's your job, Balloons? Oh, I got it. Oh, what's it name? What's your job, Balloons? Oh, man. I'm in. Five seconds. Wow. I'm in. Lunchbox. Gary Coleman. Eddie, I have Arnold. It's Arnold. Wow. Wow. Amy. Cotta. Oh, welcome back, Carter. Cotta. Yeah, Mr. Cotta.

Ting it. Different show. I don't know. Yeah, it's Arnold, right? OK, good. Nice. Good job, good job. All right, next one. I'm listening. I'm in. What? I'm listening. I'm listening. OK, I'm in. I'm in. With a guess. Lunchbox. Bill Bradley. Former senator? Yep. That's go player. Yep. Want to give him a shout out, Eddie? I have Kit LeCarr, the talking car from the night rider. Because Kit would go. I'm listening. Right, right. He's talking to the car. What do you have? Charlie. No, think about somebody doing a radio show and their aside, kayak trist. And they tell him to follow the phrase. It's a phrase. Good job. So you have Frazier. Afrazier Crane. Or you just explained all that. No, I have Frazier Crane. I have Frazier Crane. I have FR. OK, next one. You're right. I'm in. You're right. You're right.

I'm in. It'd be cool if you got this one. What did? You not have it. I have a guess. I'm in. Lunchbox. Nick Juby. Eddie? I have Herbie Monster. So you're in the right ballpark. It's not the monsters. Oh, it's Adam's family. Oh, it's the big dude. Potato Patato. You? I have Frankenstein. Same ballpark. It's Lurch. Lurch. You rang. That one? You won. Oh, that's it. What? Hey. Roll them out. Let me see if I can nail them. I'm too changed. That's Peter Brady from the Brady bunch when they're singing their song. Mike? Yeah, it's Peter Brady. Why do you have to go to you? I'm going to go with the wrong thing down. OK, next. Key, why? Gee, Wally, that's the beef. That's the beaver. Leave it to beaver. Yeah. OK? Thank you, Eddie. Yeah, that's a lot from Taxi.

And? There's long and prosper. That is Captain Kirk from Star Trek. No, no, no, no. Hold on. It's not, it's a linear Neemoy. It's Spock from Star Trek. There you go. Yes. Dang. Jamf a little too quick at that one. All right. You can everybody put their heads down. Hey, good job, man. Good job. Maybe Lunchbox are back in their computer. Anything. I love you, too. Yeah. Lunchbox. Lunchbox? Man, I feel bad for Chase Matthew, because I'm very confused on what is going on. He went on tour with Jason Aldin. He was the opening actor or support act, whatever you call it. And I see on Instagram the other day that the tour is ending and Chase Matthew got Jason Aldin a car. Jason Aldin has millions upon millions upon millions of dollars. So he should be getting Chase Matthew the car. I'm sure he got Chase something really nice as a tour gift, but Chase's whole thing is cars. Oh, that's true. And he found a car on Facebook Marketplace, I think, and restored it. And then gave it to Jason as a thank you for putting him on a tour.

Oh, wow. It's just a thank you. Yeah, but it seems backwards. But you don't know what Aldin got him. So you're only coming through this with half the story. Right. But I would assume they would post it. Like, I mean, he'd be like, oh, and then Jason Aldin got me this, but I didn't see anything. They never post those. Like whenever they do gifts, like we hear stories later, but no one ever says like, wow, look what Garth got me. I mean, look at that. Sometimes the nice car though, that is unreal. Like the Florida Georgia line guys, when they opened for Garth, he showed up in motorcycles and gave it to them. Like they've told that story. Pretty awesome. Russell Dickerson told the one at Tim McGraw. Just going here, I'm just going to give you $10,000 in cash. Oh, wow. Yeah, that's right. He just sat down and typed McGraw had tight pants. And then he had a bunch of cash in it. And Russell Dickerson was thinking, what is, what's happening? And McGraw just handed him $10,000. That's amazing. A lot of times the actual support acts Rolexes for a tour. The Chase Matthew Instagram said, touring with Jason has been a full circle thing. My first ever tour with another artist was opening for him back in 2024,

getting to come back out this year's direct support. It made it even more special. And I know it had to be a 68 because in my kind of party, when I, so they found a Pontiac Lomands on Facebook Marketplace. Oh, because he talks about that in the song. Yeah. And gave it to him as a gift. That's cool. That's cool. That's a gift of appreciation. So thank you. No, I understand. So thank you. I just thought like when I saw that I'm like, man, Jason makes a lot more money than Chase. So maybe Jason should have been getting him the car. But it doesn't have to be about who makes the most money. It can be something that's important to someone and you just go out of your way to do it. Yeah. I got to cover off the 68. That's the line there. That he plays like, I don't even like that car. Yeah. So I'm blowing it out. I just line. But Chase did race car and then continue to do race car. Like to reach out and be like, I'll still hook it up if you need anything fixed, right? And I'm still rocking it three years later. That thing would probably be in a graveyard somewhere. It's over 200,000 miles if it wasn't for Chase. He polished the turd, right? New wheels, new rim job, everything.

I mean, a rack up top. That's such a weird idea. Hey, those LEDs still work up there? Yeah. And they go cop lights too. So when I'm in the country, I'll never turn those on and on and on. I knew when there's nobody out. It'd be so cool for someone just to give you a car though. Just in life in general for someone to give you a car. I guess Eddie had that happen. My dad? Yeah. As an adult, as an adult, he gave you a car. Can you imagine if you open up for a car and he gives you a car like, but you got to take on the payments? Yeah. That's not the same thing. But, you know, it's different. Kind of close. To take on the payments. And I'm his son. It's different. You're an adult. Hey. That's kind of close. Let's test it out. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're not giving a car away, Bo? No, no, not to you guys. No, no, no. Oh, really? OK. Global. Bobbi bone show. Don't hit. Don't hit. Don't hit. Don't hit. Don't hit. This story comes us from Rosenberg, Texas. Around 4.30 AM, a 60-year-old man's driving around town.

He's got to go to the bathroom. Pulls into the Kroger parking lot. Grocery store is closed. But he's got to go. So he backs his car up, puts it in drive, hits the gas. Boom. Crash us through the front door. Just so he can go to the bathroom. To use the bathroom. Yep. So what I would suggest, one is go in a field. Yeah. I mean, it's a man. You're not going to be in a tree. Even if it's number two, what does it matter? Two, let's say you do want to break into the store. Don't do it with your car because now your car's messed up, too. Just get a crowbar and do it. But go on a field. Did he have to go to the bathroom because of alcohol? That's a great question. Please tell me yes. He was arrested for criminal mischief. No alcohol detected. Oh, no. He really just had to go. Yeah, I had to go. All right. I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. I mean, soon we have to commit to bringing our man's skills in. Guys, man. Because everybody's calling about it, too. Right, play me that voice, Mel. We had a tip for Lunchbox regarding Morse code.

I would say at the very least, at least try to learn how to say it's SOS in Morse code. It's really simple. And it's actually something that could potentially come in handy down the road someday. Love the show. Bye. I did a video on Morse code watched it last night. It's like sign language. It's pretty easy to learn the basics. He's acting like he can't learn anything. So you could learn SOS? I could learn hello. Anybody in this room can learn any basic by just spending 15 minutes with it. I think I'm with the listener that just left that voice mail because I would like Lunchbox to do SOS so we can all learn it. I think SOS would be good for us to know. He makes a good point. I don't understand why you would need to know SOS. It could come in handy. It could come in handy. It could come in handy. It could come in handy. It could come in handy. It could come in handy. Yeah, I mean, it's like Latin almost. Who's going to know more? Right. So if you did it, no one would know what you're saying. Are you learning like the beep beep beep or light light? It's all the same. Okay. It's how many flickers or... It's the length in the amount. Okay. Oh. Yeah, the video I was watching is like pal, people communicate with each other through

blinks. Like I said, they hold their eyes down. That's a long. That's a short. So short, short, long, short. And you don't know, but you can communicate with each other through blinks. I think that's cool. That would be really cool if we could talk that way. We do the whole show like that and listeners are just confused. We have to conclude this somehow. I've got an idea. So we will do it soon. Today though, it's not that day. We're out. That's it. Tomorrow, goodbye everybody. The Bobby Bones show theme song written, produced and sang by Reed Yarberry.
