Thrift Store Find Leads to Jill Scott's Lost Photos

0:00It's April 8th. Welcome to Entertainment and celebrity news today, powered by AI. I'm Cory with the story. Hannah Peters hit the Goodwill Shels and spotted something wild, a bunch of family photos that look super personal, just sitting there for sale. She filmed her for TikTok on March 16th, calling it the saddest thing she'd ever seen at a thrift store, and it blew up fast with over 8 million views. Viewers zeroed in quick, spotting three-time Grammy winner Jill Scott in the picks. The Philly singer behind hits like a long walk. Peters didn't recognize her at first, but once the comments lit up, she bought the whole lot instead of leaving them behind. Thrifters everywhere felt that gut punch of seeing memories discarded, maybe from a move or cleanup. But Peters turned it wholesome. She skipped any resale hustle, shared updates to track down Scott's team, proving the communities all about heart over cash. Scott jumped on X on March 25th, explaining her mom had moved, and those picks got mixed in with donations by mistake.

1:00She shouted out Peters, said they were grateful, and confirmed the package was on its way back home. Peters mailed them off the next day, admitting she'd listened to more of Scott's music now. In a world of quick flips, this thrift tell reminds us, real connections still went out.
