All right, welcome into the latest edition of the walk out Pauli Ner Jr. and Jay Morrison here inside Paycore Stadium. On a day where the Cincinnati Bengals lose in the Jacksonville Jaguars, 22 to 17 falling to two and two. Joe Burrow was out there with an opportunity to once again prove that he can be clutch, but he didn't have any of his friends with him and they fall a little bit short. Jay, what's the headline? Drop the clutch. Bengals spend tires on final drive and lost to Jaguars. Cut steep. Let's play the music. MUSIC All right, Paul and Jay here inside Paycore on a day when the Bengals fall. We've got a bunch to cover with you here. We're going to hear from Joe Burrow.
You're going to hear from Mike Gisickey. You're going to hear from Chase Brown. We're going to discuss kind of Joe Burrow's day. There was a lot surrounding it as some of his partners fell by the wayside. Jamar Chase with a concussion. T Higgins within the doctor will get into them and their injuries as well. And some of the big picture look at this team now. As there are two and two falling the first four games this season headed to a game at Miami next week. Then a buy. We'll have our best of the locker room, our 50 West cheers of the game. We'll get you those injury updates. Talk about what is coming next and in the AFC North as things went down today. Before we do that, we do what our mind everybody. Make sure you are getting into the pig skin pickham contest on the FEMGM Sports Book at the banks. Every single week go down there, put in your 10 picks against the spread, the top 10 players every week win $100 and online bonus bets.
Just go down there, play, it's for free. And they'll pay you out. So get down there and get those every single week during the season. Let's talk a little bit about this game, Jay. In particular, I think it starts with Joe. It starts with this game became about that because Jamar goes down with a concussion and we'll talk about how that all went down on that play. And so then he's feeding T Higgins. He's already down, Andreos Vash. So already down, Kobe, T Higgins eventually has an injury and he's not there at the end of this game. It was, hey, Joe, we need you to do this because guess what, you're not getting any run game? No. You're not, oh, by the way, this Jacksonville team, by the way, they haven't allowed more than 20 points in nine regular season games. One of the toughest defenses in the league. You don't have your stars. You don't have a run game.
It's got to be all Joe. And he did near did it. Yeah, he did. And it was the Jamar chase injury. It's hard. I mean, that's hard to overcome losing a guy like that. But it was early enough that they had time to adjust and they were adjusting. It took them a while. Things looked way better in the second half after they went in, had some adjustments, come in the second half. The T-Higgins, one is the one that really killed them because then you just don't have anybody left. You got Mike DeSik, you trying to learn plays on the sideline, learn T-Higgins plays. You got Mitch Tinsley, who was in a totally different stadium last Sunday. You got Dante Moore, who was in totally different country a few months ago. It's just, it was a lot to ask. And Borough came through time and time again. I think he was five for his first five on third down conversions in the second half. They really found like they had kind of found something the defense made a key stop at the end to give them one more chance. And then that final chance, three great plays to start for not so great plays to finish. Borough finishes this game, 39 of 54 for 428.
He gets sacked twice. He has a touchdown and two interceptions. Ram for a score two. Ram for a score as well. The two picks are going to be a big part of this conversation with Joe because they did turn the tide of this game. Like this was a game, we talked about this in the game preview live, what we talked about in the game preview and it being very prevalent here. The jacks have been unbelievable in the red zone. They had having times where the team would come down and they would allow no scores. They had two times as much where they would allow no scores as they were allowing touchdowns down there in the red zone this year. And that proved to be the case here when he has just a bad interception in the fourth quarter that you can't throw. My question I guess is it's hard to put it on him. Like that is on him. These are mistakes you can't make and you're just seeing these now. They pile up a little bit. We're at four weeks down in the season, three of four games we've seen turnovers. Like this play a huge role in the game.
But when you're asking the guy to throw 54 damn times and you're having any other real help around him, there's bound to be some mistakes in there. How much do you put on Joe burrow? How do you quantify a day where he did so much right? But there's still these turnovers that are obscuring some of the good things. I mean, you're almost asked him to be perfect and nobody's perfect. He was great. He was great on a lot of occasions today. That drive when you threw the pick in the red zone, they were just marching right down the field. It felt imminent that they were gonna score there. It was all just kind of like, did we just do we believe what we just saw there? And you do because this has been happening. But that's what happens when you put so much on a guy's shoulders, he has to be perfect. Then that one mistake can be catastrophic like that one was. So I don't know if you're giving him a grade in this game. Maybe a minus B plus. I mean, he was in most cases good enough to win,
but this is a really good Jaguar team. And this was a really depleted Bengals offense. A B plus effort wasn't good enough. Yeah. Let's kind of dive into a little bit of the post game and some of these balance conversations. Again, Jags have not allowed Russia to cross 75 yards in now 21 consecutive games. I mean, this run defense, they're just, they're stout. And you saw it today, there was nothing there. I mean, nothing, they tried, they tried under center, it did nothing, they tried running out of the gun, it did nothing, they tried short yardage, and then they just stopped trying. And you saw Chase Brown end up with 11 receptions as they just started trying to involve him by throwing it. You know, receiver screens, Chase Brown screens. I mean, Dante Myers almost took a quick receiver screen to the house early in this one. They had to find other ways because it just wasn't happening upfront. The question was posed to Joe about the lack of balance
and all the runs that had to happen in this one. And Joe's answer was interesting. Do you feel like there needs to be a little bit more balance there? You know, my response to that would be less throw more. I thought it was more. Because I know we're great at it. I know, that's like your best. And we're really passed, but I can really well right now. You know, obviously we'd like to get more out of the run game, but you know, I know we'll make it work. Instead of add a rope, you don't want to bang your head against the wall. At that point, if you're not going to run well, it just, you know, it obviously depends, it depends on how the game's going. Right? But, you know, I'm always going to want fall in high hands. It's a little spot. You know, let me games where we run the heck out of wall. We're going to get in the center and run. I feel like we need to drop back 60 times and go and make it happen. You know, we'll find that balance as the season goes. But yeah, we can be better in both areas.
Can be better in both areas, but you know, he was pretty clear on his thoughts. He's like, I think it's throw more. I mean, that's going to be Joe's attitude. The question is, should that be the team attitude in how they go forward? I get it today, though. Yeah. But what are you going to do? You're trying to win a game. This was the ultimate. You know what we would have heard if they, Chase Brown, doesn't end up a yard short, and they end up scoring a touchdown there, found a way. This isn't how you want to have to win every week, but this is what today brought, and they found a way to do it. But it's no way to live. I think that's the bigger aspect of this. Right. I mean, they could have played three games today, and they wouldn't have got to 75 yards, but that Jaguar is number. You don't want to live that way. And the thing is, maybe they would have tried to stick with a little more if the protection was failing, but they'd do 54 times. And the offensive line held up pretty well. Joe did take, he got sacked, I believe once, or as a twice twice.
Twice. And I hit a couple more times. But for the most part, the offensive line held up pretty well. And if he's back there and he's got protection, then you do feel good about him just ripping it 54 times. But again, like you said, that's not the way you want to live. And I don't think it is the way that they're going to live. I mean, maybe if T and Jamar have to miss some time, then maybe it looks like this again against Miami. But for the most part, this team has proved they can run the ball. Oh, lights out. Lights out. That's a pretty funny thing. So they proved that Chase Brown has been really good the last couple of years. And then he's had solid efficiency, and he's had some explosive. So you think they can get back to that. But again, this was just a really, really good. And I think underrated Jaguar's defense. I think a lot of people sleep on them, and the Bengals certainly did not. And I think that's why they abandoned it as quick as they did. I know you've got some stats on some of the running. So the yardage in general today, you have Chase Brown
with nine carries for 10 yards. Samaj AP Ryan with three for seven. In fairness, they did get an explosive from Samaj. They got caught back by a hold on Dylan Fairchild from a crew that was just out of control in the first half. Throw 16 penalties in the first half, which is the most that we've seen in any NFL game since 2021 in the first half of the game. I mean, it was insane and totally threw off. I think you had three touchdowns actually caught back too by the Jaguars. In this, it was just a wild lack of rhythm because of that. But that said, these numbers are these numbers. It was awful in every way trying to run the ball. They you've got stats on it. Yeah. So the 23 rushing yards is the lowest in the Zack Taylor era. They had 25 yards twice. That was in his rookie season in 2019. Week two is second game ever against the Giants of 41, 17 loss. And then he had 25 and a week 12 loss against the Steelers here, 16 to 10.
In terms of the entire Bengals history, 23 yards, third, fewest in any game since this franchise has been around in 1968. They had four yards rushing in a 37 nothing lost, the Baltimore Bruce Coslett quit the next day. And then they had 14 yards in a win, a 13-10 win at Pittsburgh to clinch the division in 2012. Just pretty remarkable. 23 is the third fewest in the entire Bengals history. Sure. It was 100% the players. Let's talk a little bit about I want to bring you a little bit of chase problem and kind of talk about where this run game is at. Remember last year through the first month and change, really, the run game was an abomination. It was historically bad and recovered and really found some footing to take off and had a great second half of the season. And that's kind of been a consistent theme around here. Here's a little bit of chase brown talking about the state of the run.
Yeah, I mean, we, we, the run game definitely wasn't there today. And we've been taking a lot of pride in making that better and being better in that area. And we'll be able to watch the tape and learn from it and be better next week. But unfortunately, we just weren't efficient in that area today. And it's okay. Did you think it had good run defense? Did you put your finger on it? Why it wouldn't get going today? See, that's just something you have to watch the tape and, you know, there's a million different reasons why. I mean, but right now, just watch the tape and learn from it and be better and see things that I could be better at. And, you know, maybe I got to make a different cut or maybe I'm not seeing it right. So, then the day I just, you know, we'll learn from it and be better next week. Learn from the tape and be better next week. A lot of that kind of coming out of this. I don't, I think there's a little bit of circumstantial evidence. I mean, Chase was talking a lot when we were talking to him about their clothes.
Like, they really are close and they weren't close before this. You, you, you can sense it. This was a bad day on a real tough assignment and they just kind of abandoned it. And again, how much you blame them for that can go either way. But I, so I don't think, like, if we're going to make some big, why ranging broad brush here about the run game? Like, I don't look at it as in some terrible dire straits. And Chase didn't either. He said that we're in a much better place right now than we were at this time last year if you're trying to compare. And I think there's a patience and understanding in that. I think I'm willing to call today just a weird day in that regard. And I still think there's plenty of reason to be positive about the run game being just fine. Yeah, and you think about it too. Like we talked about the Jaguars are a good defense against the run. And they're a good defense when you've got guys that threaten you on the perimeter as receivers. And Jamar Chase goes out, well, like, that's, we'll have to watch the film. And see, did the Jaguars start playing them different? Were they low in the box?
Were they daring them to just saying, we're going to take away the run. You, you try to beat us with these backup receivers. And especially when he goes out, maybe that goes to a whole nother level. So again, I'm with you. I think it's kind of a one off game. That's a ugly, but it's one loss. And I do think the run game overall is in a better spot. Okay, we talked now about what happened in terms of big picture. The run game and the offense and burrow. And the defense today was down guys. DJIV's in there making his first career start. The PJ Jules and Russ yeast sort of rotating at the other safety spot. Jordan battles playing through a hamstring. Daxells and his first start moving back into the slot. And the defense played pretty well. They were the, the D line was disruptive. Boy, Maffee was just causing absolute havoc back there.
I was Murphy, I said Dexter was, you know, making stuff happen. I thought that there were a few, they're not going to like their run defense. And Dexter Lawrence didn't like their run defense after. I mean, they were too many. They got out including one that basically got really close to putting the game on ice. And a couple that got called back by holding them. If you're going to talk about holding calls, I mean, the Jags are sitting here saying, how about some holding calls? And this is a couple of weeks in a row now, the bangles have been bailed out by a holding call where they also were exposed in that regard. They missed some tackles. But as a whole, I think I'm okay with how they played. And it was, it was good not great. Is that kind of a, you think of fair assessment? Yeah. And I thought to like, they'll get credit for getting off the field and given the ball back to Joe Burrow and given him one more chance at that final drive. But they kind of blew the third down play. And the receiver just happened to step out of bounds. And it looked like that was going to be an explosive play that was going to end the
game. It's going to be some kneel downs after that. And they really caught a break there too. But they got off the field technically. And they did what they needed to do. And they had a couple good series. The lot of missed tackles were still going on today. Guys flying up from the second area that the third and 18 were Jordan Battles just whiffed on the guy. I mean, I had looked it up in game. And I think teams were four of 52, I believe, on third and 18 or longer. You just can't give that up. But overall, I thought it was a decent day. The Jaguars aren't a great offense. It's going to scare anybody. There's still plenty of room for improvement. But they did get back to kind of being a pressure-centric defensive line. They got pressure on Trevor Lawrence. They made him uncomfortable. You didn't see so much of that last week because Aaron Rogers would get it out so quick. So this was a good kind of step back in a positive or step forward in a positive direction. But the two touchdowns for Jacksonville come off of turnovers, come off the borough in receptions.
One of them, they're put immediately backs against the wall, which the first turnover borough kind of gets hit or land-o, gives up a pressure to Eric Armstrong's day as he throws and it ends up getting intercepted and they come back the other way. So you're putting some tough spots. They weren't able to respond in those. I want to, well, talk a little bit about the big picture in general here. And that is the one thing that borough said afterwards, like, look, this isn't Armageddon. And I think the tone in the locker room and from Zactalar and borough specifically was one of feeling positive and encouraged about the way that they fought and against a really, really, really good team. We kept saying this and we can't gloss over it. I think this Jacksonville team is as good as anybody in football. They have been playing great. They have continuity. They've got players. Liam Cohen's got them rolling. That's a really good defense.
A quarterback that didn't make a mistake today. It despite a lot of opportunities to do so. In the big picture, if you look back on this game at the end of the season and these are two of the best teams they have seen, let's say, or the Jacksonville is the number one seed and you look at a game that came down to what it came down to. He said, yeah, it looks like two really good teams and the Bengals should win their fair share. So I understand that. This is where you're pissed off you lost to Pittsburgh. Yeah. Because you shouldn't have lost that game. You had it in your hands. It's one that you just make a bunch of dumb mistakes and you lose. And you're sitting here at three and one and you lost to a good Jags team on a day where Team Jamar got hurt. It happens, right? That's why you can't lose games like last week against Pittsburgh and that's why you're sitting at two and two instead of three and one right now. And I think that's the frustrating aspect from a team perspective. Yeah. And I get the positive nature that some of the guys had after this.
But I'm sure they do themselves in meetings in the mirror or are the voice in that frustration where they did let one get away. Joe Barrow used their phrase, not Armageddon. And it's not. But two and two is not as good as people think it is. I looked and teams that start two and two since the division alignment changed in 2002. 95 made the playoffs 157 missed. Only 38% of teams that start two and two make the playoffs. Since they expanded the playoffs in 2021, 23 made the playoffs 33 minutes. That's only 41 making the percentage. So you're at two and two, 500 winning percentage feels like a flip of the coin. It's not. They have an uphill climb now after this loss. There are, by the way, eight Super Bowl champions that started two and two if you're looking for a positive spin on it, but three of them were the Patriots. So that was Bill Pellich, Belichex, Montrehead in September, kind of extension of the preseason.
So there's, I get why they, there is a little bit of hint of, it's not so bad. A lot of football left to play, but it's getting laterally. Yeah, I think, you know, the offense has been okay. Like there, if you look at most of the metrics and we'll pop them up there tomorrow on ReWatch, they're living between 10th and 12th in the league. The problem is that's not where this offense is supposed to be. This is an offense that was supposed to be top five and a defense that was in the middle. And that's how you're going to have your championship profile. I also do think they have played for the toughest defenses on their entire schedule. We outlined that before the season starts. It's soft middle time, Jay. You got me doing the move, but it is. I mean, we'll talk about Miami in a second in Baltimore. Obviously, that's going to be a real game. But you get into some of those games that it's not going to be as challenging defensively like Jacksonville was. Like Pittsburgh is. Like Houston is.
Like that has kind of been the makeup of their schedule. And that's why we pinpointed that first four and said, you know, if you'd come out of that two and two, I think you feel golden. And that feels worse when you start two and oh, and you see the struggles that obviously Tampa and Houston had. So there's a levels of concern there. But I do think that was kind of the makeup of the schedule, specifically defensively. Just playing for the better defenses. You would like to think that this offense can put up points no matter who it is. But right now that hasn't totally been the case. They've just been kind of an above average group. And we'll see how much they can improve on that. But they do have an opportunity to lessen the degree of difficulty, which was extremely high today. Sam, I'm Houston, by the way, both O and 4 now. The thing is, do not have a win against a team with a win. You just full of sad, sad stats today. Today is true. It makes very sad. Where is your positive at? I thought this was supposed to not be arm again. There's nothing like my American Express Platinum card.

Music here for you, Jay, what do you got? Yeah, so I was talking to Mike Kasicki and I just asked about, you know, they get three plays they go from their own end down to the 21 in Jacksonville and you think they're going to pull it off and he went to Dante Myers on first down. He went to Mitch Dury. He went, yeah, Dante Myers. Then he went to Mike Kasicki on second down and it looked like it almost, it looked like
a burrow mistake. It looked and Travis Hunter almost picked it off and I was asking Kasicki about because if Burrow was going to try to hit Kasicki the way Kasicki ran, he would have lofted it. I was lying and so I asked him, I said, was that a choice route where you could either cut it in or go out and Mike Kasicki fell in the story. So that's totally on me. Here he is. I think it was the second outplay video in the end zone. Was that a choice route where you could have ducked under the DB or? It was a play that because of personnel and stuff normally that's that's T running that and so then I went and moved to T spot. I felt the corner heavy inside. I knew I couldn't, I'm supposed to cross his face. I didn't, I learned that one on the sideline. It is what it is. There's no excuse for it, things like that. I was just trying to make a play. But yeah, it is what it is. A big of a challenge is it being down Jamar and T trying to complete that comeback?
Yeah, I mean, listen, we this summer in two minutes we had the same thing in training with Jamar and T weren't practicing. We did two minute rows, me and Tanner and Mitch and maybe it was Dante and maybe it was Drey. I think it was Drey. We practice different situations and we know things pop up. But there's a lot of talent that doesn't get a lot of opportunities throughout the course of season because of how incredible Jamar and T yard. So when they go down and got a step up, I mean, look at Dante, look at Mitch. Mitch wasn't here this time last week. He's out there making plays to get us down the field with a chance to win the game. So it's a credit to those players. It's a credit to Troy and it's a credit to James Casey and to credit to Zach and pitch and Brad and those guys getting those guys right in those situations because we got a chance to go win the game. You look in the huddle and that's not who ran out when they announced the starting line. I was like, it was a whole different personnel grouping. So I like, I've said this multiple times throughout the last 10 minutes and this end of the
year. I like what we have in the locker room. I know we're two and two and everybody's in that like the world's following, but I really like what we got. I think, you know, it all works itself out. It's early right now. More of a, it's early right now, but cool stuff from Gassicki. I mean, and it's so crazy. I mean, it's the, it really is the drawn it up on the sideline. I mean, that's exactly what it is. Yeah. And he was really good too about, he, like, players notice this place emptied out and he's like, we saw that chance to win this game. Where did everybody go? And he wasn't criticized in the fans. He said he understood it, but players that players know that they, that notice it. They feed off of it a little bit. I want to kind of, my best of the locker room is, is Dexter Lawrence and, you know, he was kind of being asked about how things went or whatever and, and he pointed out that because Zach Taylor really was loud in the post game locker. And we're in the, we're sitting in the press conference room and you can hear very clearly
Zach Taylor in his voice. Now, we don't know if he's yelling. Is he, is this like, all right, you guys are, you guys suck. It's got to be better, blah, blah, blah. And it, it sounds like, and great, and we don't, you know, this is just us talking to people afterwards. That, and Dexter said, look, it was about encouragement. It was about us still knowing who we are and, and there's no reason to be down because we lost to a good team today. And his point was that really, you know, that hit home, like he agrees. Like there is no reason to be discouraged about who this team is or where they're at when you look at some of the circumstances and situations that they, that they've been through. Now, they have worked to do, but it does sound like, and talking to guys going around, like that message did resonate. Maybe that's some of the positive tone that we've been talking about that you heard, maybe Zach was setting that. I don't know, do you, should it be, be an F and pro day or, or, or should it be an encouragement? I mean, Zach's not going to, it's not going to be his style to, to pull out the negativity
and, and, you know, some sort of telling everybody how much they suck and to get better. Everything that's not necessarily going to be his style. So you shouldn't expect that. Were you surprised to hear that being kind of the tone of what was going down despite what we heard? Not really, just because I, I think that it's not the moral victory kind of thing. It's just a fact that you know what these guys went through last year, and it did kind of fell apart after the Jaguars game when they lost Joe Borough. And I think he just wanted to remind them that this isn't the 2025 team, that this team is much better. And like you said, don't get down, don't let it, don't let it snowball. You can go to Miami and fall into a trap game and lose and then go into the buy and then you get a Baltimore, it's like, only crap, all of a sudden you're two and four. I think that was his message and that's why he was so forceful about. But it was, I can't remember, there was, the third game of his career after they had lost that San Francisco game, I remember they went to Buffalo, but a really close game and they lost and we could hear him screaming through the walls there. And I think there was one other time here that we, we heard him raise his voice.
It's really out of character for him. But it wasn't, do your effing job. It was the more the encouragement thing, the hey, we are going to be okay. Let's just fight through this and get a win. Let's go ahead and talk about our cheers of the game. Cheers of the game. All right, cheers of the game from Eugene. I'm going to go close to your heart. I'm going to go at the home sweet home. Which tensly, like I said, is it a totally different stadium last week? Not just in a different stadium. He's in a sweet watch. He couldn't even get on the field for the Houston Texans who had all kinds of receiver problems. He comes in here today, 40 snaps, third highest of his career, three catches career high, 49 yards career high. Kind of quit running on the route when they got down those final four plays. He had a one-on-one shot that Burrow went to and they could run through that continued the route. Might have had a shot of the touchdown there. We'll cast that one aside.
We'll cheers him a home sweet home for coming back to Cincinnati. Home sweet home, which was being brewed when we were up there on Friday there. It's back, baby. The best, the absolute best. You know, you think about though, I mean, the Gisicchi thing to tee would have been tee, right? That's probably Jamar running that route. Like, it's hard not to get back to that where these decide games, the plays that decided the game were literally Gisicchi trying to be tee higgins and Mitch Tinsley trying to be Jamar Chase. And that needs to be taken into consideration. My cheers of the game, I'm going to do actually a coast to coast, which is my personal favorite 50 West beer because DJIV went beginning to end in this one playing corner and he played great. Yeah. But we didn't really, we didn't see him. Like we didn't hear. It wasn't like you were like, oh, they're going after DJI, DJIV again. No, in fact, the one time we talked about him, they tried to take advantage of him on a huge third down in the red zone, going into Kobe Myers and DJIV right in great position
and gets a P.B.U. Looked like what to watch the tape and go deeper on it, but from my angle, it looked like DJIV had a really nice first career start in his fourth season and maybe built some confidence that he can be up. This secondary, that cornerback trio of DJ Turner, Dex Hill inside and DJIV can be how they can comfortably go forward right now. It allows you to let Sikario Davis kind of develop a little bit slower. You don't feel like you have to throw him in. Just let him get some more reps and practice. And he did. Tikario played today too. Just give him a few reps here and there and games. Let him get his feet. What is it, Rookie? So that was a big, big game for DJI. Reminder, next state of the Bangles is Thursday. This Thursday at 50 West on Worcester Pike, we will start at seven o'clock. We have special bangles guesses are going to be there. We're going to be doing giveaways. We're excited about the giveaways that we've got going on. Plus we'll be talking ball. You have the Growler crew. We're all going to be there. We hope to see you there. Hang out. We'll lead you right up to Thursday night game. You got questions for us.
We want to hear them. When hang out, talk ball, talk bangles, have some guests in the beer garden at 50 West. I hope we hope will be a nice night. We always love doing these. We love getting to see you guys. We hope to see you there. We'll make it worth your while. So all right. Let's get into injury updates. So Jamar goes out with the concussion. He gets a face mask and then hit to the ground and immediately was just laying there. They took him to the tent and he leaves after that after about five minutes with a trainer who was holding his helmet. It doesn't come back. He tweeted. So that's good. But typically concussions, something like that, you're going to see sometimes back the next week, but a lot of times it ends up being two weeks. And the bangles have Miami and a vi. So I think the hope would be that Jamar would be back for that game, that big game in Baltimore. T, we'll be checking it on that one on Monday. He got an inductor. So that can be a strain.
How serious is it? It can be anywhere from one week to three weeks. Two if it's really serious a lot longer than that. It's hard to know. He tried to come back. He did come, but he got too big passes after he came back. Yeah. And then they were just like, saw him try again at the end and just couldn't do it and had to pull them out because he's, he couldn't run the route. It needed to be run. And so again, that'll be a big piece of information to track on Monday. So make sure you're following and reading and all of that stuff in terms of how serious the injury to T will be, of course, soft tissue stuff. You just, you never know on the severity of the straights and stuff like that. Yeah. So any wonder if he made it worse by coming back in and getting those two big plays? Yeah. Brian Cook did not play, couldn't do it. I think there's a hope that he'll be able to maybe be back next week in Miami. So that's the Dalton Ryzen or played through it today. He appeared to gut it out and as they tried out, you know, they didn't think they'd want that early buy. Now it's really looking like a hell of a nice buy sitting there in week six.
AFC North Baltimore wins, but Lamar Jackson got dinged up when his ankle left in a walking boot. So we'll see what's happening with Lamar how serious his injury is. If it is serious, so keep an eye on that. But Baltimore wins. There are three in one, Cleveland's three in one and Bangles and Steelers both sitting at two in two. So technically, Bangles and the seller beat me. Good. How it changes quickly, but plenty, plenty of time, play a ball game left there. As for what's next, Dalton's losing the Vikings today. 15 to 10, Dalton's still winless, but plucky a couple weeks in a row. Yeah. And I mean, Minnesota didn't have a touchdown today and it just feels like a trap game. Bangles are they better not go down there. They can they're going to kick, walk into their body. Certainly, you know, these desperate teams that are winless, you never know. And if you're going down there without T and Jamar, it can turn on you quickly. But so, we'll next week. This week was a little bit, I'm not going to call today House Money, but you can see it.
Jacksonville is a great team. Next week is the one that truly, then when you get this is Armageddon afterwards is what comes play the music. I need Ben Affleck. I need everybody here. We're Billy Bob's going to be here. We need everybody from Armageddon because that's what it would be. Don't want to change a thing. All right. Let's wrap it up here. Again, we'll rewatch tomorrow, PD and J coming your way. We will have on Thursday the live show down to 50 West. We hope to see you there. That will wrap what you guys just checking the early line. Bangles by seven and a half at Miami. Seven and a half on the Bet MGM line. So get it in now. All right. Thanks, everybody, for watching and listening. We'll talk to you next time. I'm not a good one.
