When a child is born, is it possible their inner awareness is totally awakened from that moment?  Is development and consciousness more about adapting to the physical realm, rather than learning with the living connection to the soul that once was its total identity as One with The Divine?  Is that child learning right from wrong on the life journey, or experiencing how to apply what was intrinsically known from its infinite wisdom that existed prior to birth and will continue to be after the death of the current incarnation?

Now I'd like you to just to consider some of these questions this evening. When a child is born, is it possible that their inner awareness is totally awakened at that moment or even before?

Is development and consciousness about adapting to the physical realm? Because that little soul was once totally identified as one with the divine. Is that child learning right from wrong on the life journey or experiencing how to apply what it intrinsically knew from its infinite wisdom that existed prior to birth and will continue after the death of the current incarnation? While we're going to be talking about some of these questions tonight with our return guest, Patti Elvy, author of practicing the art of becoming. Patti is a trusted advisor and a strategic planner to executives. She stood besides leaders as they've built the impossible across industries and across decades and across thresholds of deep personal becoming.

Her gift seeing the essence of what wants to emerge quickly, then mapping out the most aligned, actionable and soul satisfying path forward. Welcome back, Patti. Hello, Helena. Good evening. Good evening. Good evening. It's wonderful to see you again. In your book, you write about having the awareness far beyond your years, even when you were very literal. Where do you think that came from? How did that shape the way you risk to become? What happened? Well, I think that discovering where I think it came from and all of that was way later in life, it was the circumstances that I was in and I believe part of it is adapting to being where you are. There was an option for me of individualization, I would say.

You know, we come in from source. I do believe we were all created exactly the same at one moment. We were all the same. I believe that, but it's in reflection and retrospect that I began to discover this process and how it unfolded for me. Kind of like a gardenia. You know, the gardenia start with the tightest, tightest, tightest, but it takes a while and then boom. You know, so it's in reflection, but I always had a curiosity. I always say it, you know, curiosity was how my journey blossomed and observation. And I don't I think I chose observation because the circumstances I was born into promoted that that was my quiet, my security, I guess through my observation I learned and I eventually came to realize that was my relationship with soul, my relationship that began with my first breath, but I do believe before when that's another whole episode about how I learned that.

How old were you when you became aware of that so that I don't I was decades older. I walked it. I knew it. I was aware it was different. I knew there were things I made choices about from very, very, you know, I remember being four days old and having a very vivid experience. And this is going to be different than what I'm seeing around me. The only way I can do this life is different than what I'm watching. So that was something very true for me. What that was going to turn into I didn't know one was like just take me back home. God. He died and get that answer. But I just always knew that there was going to be something unique for me to make choices related to me. Not what was happening around me. It didn't think about it much. It was natural. What does it mean or what does it mean to you the connection to the eternal or ever existing or the infinite. When did you have a feeling about that? How was that brought forward to you?

Again, it's all in retrospect. Whenever I'm older and wiser, you know, gone through decades of learning and recognizing my options, so to speak, I could reflect back and know that was something I knew was there from that fourth day. To have that awareness as that brand new person was something pretty revolutionary that guided me and I can look back in my life and recognize there was something in there that was nobody was showing me that I didn't have a role model around me. Nobody said this is how to do it. Not that we ever come with the manual, but there was something innate in me that guided me. I'm so eager to. I'm sorry. What happened on this fourth day? I didn't remember this. Last episode, back and listen to the last episode. But you know, when I was four days old, I was brought home from the hospital. That's what we do basically back in those days.

I looked around me and I saw and felt I heard voice that, you know, my mother was in front of me, changing my diaper on the table and a child came up to touch the baby. And there had been the misfortune where my mother had had several children right before me, three as a matter of fact, a set of twins and another child that were born and on day for it, they passed away. So it was an interesting thing in the entire house of despair of discomfort of confusion like this little boy. He was four years older than me and he had never met a baby, but his mother was pregnant since he was born. It was interesting things that I reflected much older that made sense. But so my brother, my older brother was coming excited to see the brand new bed that finally came home after four years. And when he reached for me, my mother says, like, don't touch because she was so, she was so despair because of the, I was premature a little bit enough that she was challenged and was careful and it was just one of those moments.

And I'm looking, I'm seeing this woman that I know love this boy and my consciousness was, why do people who love each other treat each other so poorly? So my very thought and and at that point, I saw Jesus Jesus was in there. And I said, take me back with my other three siblings, they couldn't do it. I can't either. And he said, no, this is your time. And he grabbed my hand that he wouldn't. I'm glad we're talking about this again. It's worth, it's worth repeating because you had a type of awareness that was really an inner awareness when you were extremely little for that moment. Oh, no kidding. And it's more of a, it's, I love the term inner awareness. It's part of my spiritual journey, a movement of spiritual inner awareness. But to me, it was not an inner awareness. It was just an authentic aspect of who I am connected to where I came from, and which is so. So there was just this authentic awareness that was connected to something. It wasn't me at all.

So I couldn't even claim inner awareness. I can now, because I know where I'm connecting inwardly to. But at that point, it was simply my infinite. That's where my infinite as that comes from my, my connection to something infinite, which is where I came from. Yes. Let me ask you another quick question about this. So do you think was the disparity in trying to communicate through the physical body or stuff physical through the physical body or the infant consciousness? In other words, does the infant consciousness develop and then become more conscious or is it an advanced consciousness that has to work with the physical body all of a sudden? Well, I think as being very, very, very young, I don't even think it's choice. It's almost karma. I'm just going to call it that for a moment. Oh, my goodness.

And maybe that's not the best word, but it is the divine. It's purpose, it's direction, it's. It's the path that was, you know, we all come in here with sort of a, a deck of cards. And my deck had that in it, and I'm grateful I had, I had that ease. Yes. Well, we let's take a little pause right now. And the work, very quickly, what strikes me about what you're saying is that there is an original innocence we come in with. And the reason is, is this is what you say this is inner awareness or anything. And yet it can be, it starts the minute we have any consciousness on any level, this innocence of return to the original innocence to believe the experience that you had. You were able. So let's hold that thought. You're going to take a little break and go back to it. So it's our time to take a break.

My guest tonight is Patty Elvy, author of practicing the art of becoming. We were talking about return to original innocence just before our break. Patty, do you want to discuss that a little bit or being innocent? It's something really important I think in our journeys as humans because I do believe original innocence we came in with it and it's with us in this very moment. It doesn't go away. It doesn't get worn out. It doesn't, you know, become just blowing in the wind to gone away.

It's constantly with us. In my next book, we'll have this as a chapter because it's something worthy of really discussing my experiences through my life where it showed up. And now I just know it's there. I turn to it as a resource when I'm out of balance because in original innocence, we're connected with the divine. It's peace. It's balance. It's harmony. So it's remembering to return there. It doesn't matter. There's no judgment associated. There's no such thing that original innocence is clear. We actually have that as a grace point of reference point, the opusic records that we work with. You bring up a certain scene of loving, which is completely innocent and pure and built from there. Basically, and it's really powerful is a reference point for almost everything you do. So it's very significant. It's always there. A great thing to return to. Yeah. So I want to bring up there's a powerful story. It's not a story. It's an episode of your life about trusting or not trusting your father.

And then how do we let me work in before you give that story, which is so vivid, asking yourself, would I trust my father or would I trust what I learned from the infinite source that is always with with me? And where you go with that. Well, that's very powerful. You have no idea that that can't have warms my friend because there's so much. There's so much in that my father clearly was one of one of the teachers in my life, one of the teachers in my spiritual journey teachers and because my trust will always be with the father, the father, you know, the father, the creator, the universe, the source, my chest will always be there. But it's nice to find a place in the world where I could have some level of trust. My journey has always been that there's very few places like that here in humanity. We do our best, but it falls short of my experience of divine trust because that's what I've always known and I had to let go of comparing the two.

So when it comes to my father, I, in the story in the book, I walked away without needing to know if I trusted him or not, even though it was eight years old, but I trusted the decision that I made about being honest. That was something very, very powerful because I learned to trust my decision with what was happening. There's a chapter about my father. I still can't write yet, but I will one of these days. You'll love that one. But what I learned through the years was whenever he passed, he passed at 40 something, he was young. And you know, my experience with them was a lot of things that it was hard to me to call him father based on his behavior. But it was the, he was being buried. I didn't go, but I was in my car. Some friends had joined me and we were going to drive around instead of going to the cemetery. It was a winter day, February, bitter cold, icy skies, no sun and sight. And there was a rainbow.

Yeah. And God said, God said, had he not one soul will be lost. And I had to surrender to the loving. It's like no matter what the behave. And that was a powerful lesson for me. Because it's about behavior. Like we are all, that's why I believe we come in the same original innocence is available at all times, but there's a behavior that we get to decide as humans in our lives, how we perform. And what we do in relation to everything else around us, its behavior and behavior was not something I was celebrating, but his purpose was something I recognized is not my decision to make. And then over the decades reflecting back, I learned enough and saw more clearly from altitude, what the loving that he did now. And that it was, it was, I saw it very clearly. So I call your sense of altitude flying high, that flying high.

And my question about this is, how do we know that it's our soul that shining through, which is the deep essence of the depth of us. Or something else, a part of our ego, some other kind of thing in us, some kind of need. How do we know that? How would you answer that practice practice practice practice practice practice. I'm not a practice, literally, first of all, identifying that that's true. I want that to be true for me. If you're not, if you're not clear about it now, it's like, you know, I want to check it out. I would like to know is that true for me. So begin to believe it is it could be. And then reference how there's a feeling about decisions about what you do for me, even just now, like starting this show, there was like 1000 parts of me to say, like, I don't want to be here. This is hard to be. I'd rather, you know, be alone in a room and like, don't tell anybody who I am. It's very interesting because there's a divine aspect of me that I don't know that is, I think that there's judgment that comes in other people's opinions. So part of me says, well, mother people, they don't get it.

So let me just keep it to myself. So, but that's because I've gone in that journey of trusting mostly what's inside. And that's my go to place. And I experience a resonance. I experience a frequency. I experience, I tone in my voice, like I can tell when my voice changes, what's that about. But I can do it really fast through practice, like boom, boom, boom, like it's like, okay, there I go. I can go back and down again. It's very, very, very visceral and very practical. It's a practical aspect of choosing who is in charge of me and everything I say, every action thought indeed is what I use. And it's I want to do every action thought indeed from the place in me that is my source that I know is divinely connected to the source. I'm willing to believe that and it doesn't matter when anybody else thinks about how I do that. And that's true for each of us. That's true of each of us. And it's done to definitely a deep spiritual principle.

One of the things we also, in addition to this talk about, because I get asked that question a lot in a Kashik record classes actually. And how do I know this is coming, they say the records, but when we work in the records, we work with one's essence. And so, so how do I know that? And the answer is number that we do give in addition to what you're talking about, which is very deep spiritual principle thought action indeed is a principle, it's a catalystic principle too. Actually, you may not know that better it is. But anyway, what we talk about in the records is that the information resonates in truth. It's in truth in the heart. And it aligns with the mind and then it goes out to the rest of the body. But when it comes in clearly, it's like a show stopper.

It comes into stillness more clearly. Many times the emotion is over it. And then it's still there's like a drop. And then this truth that everything stops. There is in that stillness lies a very deep answer. And it is so resonant that that's it that nothing else seems quite as to make it that kind of impact. It is not an emotional impact exactly. It's just like that's it, that's me. And it's the inner me, the authentic me. So we can add that in to everything that you're saying with practice and going in deeper. Going in there's kind of a stop a still before you get to that quality within that alignment. It's a letting go. It's letting go. Let it go. You have to let go of everything you think you know.

And that moment, like accordingly to my life, it's I meditate every day. It's been over 50 years because if I don't want my day to begin without that still place being being available, whether it's filled or not, that's not up to me. It's like I choose to be there in case. It's a beautiful at practice because it's easily and readily available to me all the time. Yes. Well, we're going to take a break right now. We're back on Passion of the Soul with Patty LV as our guest. And Patty, can you please share your contact information with the new website? Yes, it's very easy. It's my name, PattyLV.com. You can learn almost anything you want to learn about me or why you would want to know more about spending time with me, which I would invite and love by going there and looking through. And there's places you can reach out to me there as well. Begin a conversation. Well, that's great. It really is a beautiful website that's being built and almost finished, right? Yes, very close. So now they can preview it now. Oh, great. Great. So now we're asking a really interesting and big question.

Is that child learning right from wrong on the life journey or experiencing how to apply what was intrinsically known from its infinite wisdom that existed prior to the birth and will continue to be after the death of the current incarnation? Well, in other words, is this essence? It's like totally awake and just is learning how to apply it on the life journey. What is going on here or are the parents teaching those values right from wrong? What do you think about that, Patty? That's a loaded question. Several things. You know, it's really just so many things like, you know, parents don't come with a manual and so parents do the best they can. We can't blame the parents, but it's selfishly. It's always about us. It's always about us.

So we're here on a journey, each soul, each human. And the journey is yet to be revealed. You know, you never know when and many souls come and go. I think it's never been revealed. Fortunately for me, my journey has been blessed to always be looking for the revelation, the revealing of something around me, the curiosity that happened in me. So as far as your question goes, I believe that the philosophy of we are souls having a human experience is how we are here, what we're here for. And it's not something that's common. I think that's part of my I have spiritual psychology efforts and degree. The human experience is broad and varied. And so there for me, when I say that, I get very excited. Like I love the human experience because it's always an opportunity to learn. And the application for the learning is in this situation. Am I willing to become connected to the part of me that knows loving is all there is.

So that's a big order. Tall order. There's no doubt about it because you know, my life has lots of opportunities to choose otherwise. And it's a process of uncovering the road, the journey back to where we started, which is original innocence. So the journey back has to be that altitude that's soaring that flying high to look down and see like, oh, I get to do some forgiveness over here. I get to erase the judgment that I had against myself in that critical situation where I did my best, but it was a pretty horrible job. I learned, did I learn so using everything for our advancement, upliftment, learning, growth, expansion, freedom, celebration and liberation is is an incredibly wonderful opportunity. I think it's just something to be embraced. So related to that, that we find that love it, when everything is whisked away, the highest frequency is love.

It's the highest level of the divine and it's unconditional. Yet, let's look at the faith. How did your lifetime support this level of faith when you have a confrontation? Where does it come from now? You're mentioning it's a learning experience yet others will say, I don't want to repress my anger. I don't want to, you know, this is what do you mean love? That's not appropriate. That's not what I feel. I'm mad. Yeah. Yeah, being mad is not separate from the, it doesn't say, well, if you're mad, you can't be loving now. It's, it's, there's behavior in instances and there's an appropriateness. And then what do you do after? Is there a reflection moment? Do you bury it and then live with it and really ruin your body and get sick? Do you hate the world or hate someone else or have this behavior that's an outer demonstration of because I was angry then. And so I decided to do this with this because I wasn't happy about how I did that.

So what's my next behavior? Like, say, we're all in behavior pattern. So what's my behavior and it's a practice. It's a willingness to learn. There's alternatives to handle that all, which is embrace it. That was in my book dark, not of the soul. I had to embrace that anger. I didn't want anything to do with it ever. But in shot, I was very angry. I can hear it in my voice even in that little bit. It's like, yeah, I was really angry about a whole lot of things and for good reason. But I simply had seen it destroy so much around me. It's like, I won't let that happen. But it was destroying something in me and in my relationships. It was creating separation. So you just have an opportunity when you're aware to manage that handle that release it, accept it, cherish it. What did I learn from that anger? What can I do with that I hurt somebody? Can I make it right? Okay, maybe they're already on the other side. And so how do I make it right within me, even with somebody who's not here to confront to say, I'm sorry for what happened 35 years ago. It doesn't just there's opportunity and.

There's opportunity to let go. And actually, you know, it's one of the things that happens. You know, I do these one day work sessions. They're intensive eight hours with people. And a lot of things like that can be addressed. And it's not it's not like a lifetime that it has to take to unravel and release things. It's a recognition and awareness and an opportunity and willingness to say, I'm ready for that to be different inside me how it is. And that's where our directives lead us back into that original innocence back into the more authentic being this. When we work with let's say rage, rage is a flashy number. In your book, rage is a dragon, but I'm calling it a flashy number. And what happens with that you can keep going over the rage and rehearse the rage. So that becomes your behavioral pattern. Or you can release that and allow something larger. This is where that this is really taught in records work to that the unconditional love is infinite when it gets to the highest level.

And in fact, is more powerful than rage in order to have that level of empowered rage is an energy is a jagged punching energy. You could what I you know, you could look at a bucking bronco kind of energy or lightning bolts, if you look at certain cartoons. But there is a greater force that when you release it or and we'll talk about forgiveness after the break when you release that what you find is there's a greater more glorious force that you thought clinging to that behavior pattern was power or sometimes love that's how people bond to rage. But what we're talking about we're talking about something there is a greater thing and that is a higher form of loving which has actually more more magnificent glory and expansion to it.

So did you want to comment in that patty? And well, you know what's required for that and what again it was my dark night of the soul in the book is and for me the rage was around me and I just it's one of the reasons I kept going inside because I couldn't deal with the rage around so that it was the fire breathing dragon which was similar to what you're saying it had a form and it it was what it was clear and what I was told was the only way for me to get to that quiet that stillness is to accept it and embrace it. Because it has to be a part of me in order for me to get to the unconditional loving that is connected with the source because God here's one silly way to put it God didn't make mistakes. It's not like oh rage wasn't meant to be a part of our human condition. There was just no there's no mistakes anywhere so it's how do we learn how do we accept how do we use it to become more authentic take the risk to become more aligned regardless of what behavior is regardless of the no mistakes and embracing the things that are hard to embrace and when we do that it settles things down I I've never been more settled than I was that day but I've also never been more.

I've never been more close to unsettled in my life than I was that day and in a moment the shifted because I decided to embrace it. It's like I'm just going to stop resisting this could be true as something in me. So in a sense you you elevated it you embraced it you became intimate with it and I'll such with such love that it was like saying to yourself I know who you really are I love you for who you really are. I can be this and I'm okay I can be all of this and include that it starts a little smaller than that maybe eventually came into the big loving that it's like it's okay if this is part of me to it started that simply but that was all I needed to sort of unleash the piece that you know the places that were so contracted and me began to relax and I was free I was free of the judgment around that and it is a judgment judgment.

It's a powerful negative force you really really is and it was it really can be small steps it can be small steps and in the piece and then the loving was clear like oh that's what this is and I'll find my way but it's it's starting somewhere and recognizing the higher truth and feeling safe you know. It's a safety that's it's the safety and there was an innocence if you ever look at kids playing things out there just going doing. Yeah yeah yeah it's like even so long to walk like how many times they fall down they just get up and walk again. There's no judgment there it's like yeah okay I didn't do it that time and it's like they'll stand there for a second sometimes they make a funny face and then they'll take a step it's just like wow this is good. Wow amazing amazing well patty we're going to take a little break right now and one more time give us your contact information on your new website. So you can go into a different consciousness and really have the key to identify when you're there with your questions with your feelings to gain a deep clarity and direction that is truly an alignment for who you are within your heart within your being within your mind totally. And to be November 8th 9th and 10th for information you can just go to my website and just even email me at dynamic manifestation dot com slash connect and I'll be happy to answer all your questions and send you information.

So now going into your new website there are some wonderful things that I just want to talk about the introduction Patty so you're described as a serene force of nature equal parts wise sage intuitive strategist and spiritual guide and that you do have a way of seeing into the soul and in the beginning I said you do it quickly. So what do you experience and what goes on when you do that just in general this insight you get when you're someone's comes in they're talking to you. I know the first thing that I can say the answer that is I don't do it I get out of the way and it does it and it would be source it would be however it is that I've learned to recognize there is something that knows more than me 100% of the time. Am I willing to be present with that again get out of my own way and get it and then one of the simple questions that gets me out of the way is as soon as I think I know I'm wrong and I've had so many examples of that working with people there was a woman may I tell a quick story.

Yes, it was a woman it was when I was very very many years ago first starting out doing one-on-one work with people and I always call it consulting it was never coaching it's it'll never be coaching for me it's an essence it's a relationship that happens and I was working with her actually on and on an affirmation you mentioned my affirmations and I thought I knew exactly what she was going to come up with and now was so impatient because this was early on and she was somebody I knew very well but we're not going to be able to do that. I knew very well but we're working together and you know she was processing in her own awareness what's the words I'm looking for and I'm like jumping and chomping at the bit I wanted to give the words and I the voice inside me kept saying be patient wait for her wait for her and I had these words I knew that what she was going to speak and she spoke something so much greater than I could have ever touched upon. It was her perfect word for the rest of her life and she died very well but it was something that I learned so much in that moment of like oh wow boy is this important for me to recognize because I am so grateful that you kept me from shouting out and allowed me to wait because what happened from her in the presence of everything we did up to that moment where okay now it's time to pick the words it was just profound and life changing for me in the work that I do about okay.

Now I know I can trust this thing because I'm going to keep practicing from my own patients my own holding back my own recognition and there's I think that it's in the website somewhere but what I've been known for what people have said about me is I don't dictate stuff I allow it to come from the person before me there's a way that is simply I don't know the transference of energy but it's not my energy it's never I don't do any of it but I hold a space for it that's my intention and with intention it's intention versus method so we look for a result we begin we get to know one another we create a goal in essence of probability going here but it's intention versus method so when we get there do we meet the intention yes what was the method usually never would anybody expected but it has and it's a powerful way because I get out of the way of the method I don't there's no I'm not going to write down people say I don't know what I'm going to do. I want an outline what's going to happen in the morning is like no not going to happen I'm going to see we're going to show up we'll probably eat somewhere and we're going to be done that's as much as I can tell you.

Well we this getting out of the way and letting something completely different is also a sign of being in the Akashic records that people see even in themselves before they ever get to someone else it's like that's not at all you get out of the way you're neutral and allow something else to come through. And it comes from we call it the level of the records but it's a very high spiritual level that has profound depth and just what you're doing too and the thing about what you're doing is it's so your expressiveness on it is so unique so you nobody else says it exactly like that do it do it doing it this way your true soul does shine through. So let's take a look for a second at even before we get into aftermations which we can talk about or granted to let's talk about forgiveness which is a letting go so what happens when we see forgiveness completely transforming our lives and being it's like you have this lifting off it is for.

For giving over what happens there with you so there's two parts to it so that there's the forgiving and then it's if we really give it up it's gone so we forget that it ever has in the sense so we are for getting something at least the same or better usually better. Richler more radiant more brilliant more authentic to our being this it can come in that when we're filled with all of the things that we have never forgiven there's no room so there's a range of for getting or for giving but you there is a for getting this personal and and it can be communal I mean it can be global which would be beautiful but we want the part in. Institute for individual and world peace is something I'm a part of and it starts once once once sold at a time one person at a time so if we each do it and the collective becomes grander and grander and the forgiving for getting for getting for giving and it amplifies very very quickly exponentially which is the cool part it's not just two but it's like maybe 2000 you know it's just amplifies very quickly.

Absolutely and you make this tremendous space for something very high to come in it's it's just wonderful let's go to affirmations you've used affirmations for many years and very quickly what is the wonderful effect affirmations have had for freedom peace and being in the present for you. You know there's the simple I'm just going to share something simple yeah and it would be there's two parts that one is the forgiveness part I forgive myself for forgetting that I'm divine and then the other side is the affirmation like I'm divine I am divine it's like when you're worst moment you know that you just hit the car in front of you and your mother's going to kill you it's like I'm divine I'm divine it's like nobody saved nobody's hurt but it's like oh my goodness like the car insurance is going to go out all the same. I'm divine I am divine and it can bring you know it's it's intended to bring something forward that's true it's like I'm divine and look what happens you know and this is life I'm human and I'm a soul having a human experience this is one I get to have well I guess can I make this one enjoyable it's like let's decide to do that so I divine is it is a great opportunity.
