This tool was laid to rest inside a forest, to experience the elements of reality while connecting with a universe that unconditionally shares its stories. But who's writing it? Welcome to the Resurrection. But did we really embrace? Because on this date, the very lay of land where my boy boy Ernie is resting, a tree has fallen not only on his place and his space of peace, but it's

2:06fallen on the house in this very place. One of the chances that this one moment, this one little area, was service some sort of magnet to bring down a tree. It has fallen onto the my boy boy Ernie garden as well as the house. And the damage is there. And so it's one of those where I just want to go take the writing instrument, which has been placed next to the writing desk, and bring it out here so that it too can be a part of this because many stories are going to be written about that day. The tree came down in the very place that my boy boy Ernie is resting. And maybe, maybe this could be like his home inside our home. And he was just looking for a new place to climb. And he said, well, I'm tired of walking over to the tree. Why don't we just move the roots of the tree and bring it over here a little bit closer. And this way, I can just climb up because that's just what parents do because I am a blue crown con. You could be. But we are in a freaky place of all places inside this beautiful forest in South Charlotte.

3:13This is where the tree came down, really. We are back at the site of my boy boy Ernie where he has been laid to rest and where the writing instrument, the my boy boy writing instrument, was placed for 34 days. There's a lot. Of destruction inside where Ernie is laid. And this is the tree has been removed that fell onto the area. But the marks that are in the soil are not that that would have been caused by the falling tree. There's a lot of digging here. I can see evidence of deer. I can see the deer tracks. I can see that a lot of animals have come into this area. But it's the digging that has my attention because it's right in the area where my boy boy Ernie is. And it's like I don't want to take anything natural away from the storyline. But what I want to do is I want to understand

4:15it a lot better. I've been doing a lot of research on this. And what I've learned is that animals dig around burial sites mostly because their senses tell them that something is in there. Not because they understand that it's a grave. It's just that something is in there. Do I think it's a dog? I don't think it's a dog. It's too tiny to be a dog because I know how my dog would be jazzy, the disaster artist. And she would totally dig things up. But a lot of these animals have a powerful sense of smell. We're talking about foxes, raccoons, coyotes. As things start to decay inside the ground, these animals are drawn to this area and they leave their marks on top of the soil. Instinct, not intention. Discavengers, the smell of the decomposing body sends off a signal. And this is really true for animals wired for evolution to locate the actual dead animal. And it's like I keep thinking one of these days I'm going to walk out here and Ernie with his beautiful

5:21beautiful home to which he was planted within. It's going to be dug up. I mean that is my real honest to God fear. But what's happening is is that nature is very curious right now. And nature is being very territorial. And the thing is that I also have to remind myself that the soil is softer and this really does invite a lot of animals to this area. Shadow burial grounds make it easier for animals to kind of get in there, find that scent and locate the actual origin of where things are going. You cannot prevent any of this from taking place. If there is something they want to deal with, they're going to dig down three to four inches deep. And that's exactly what they have done with my boy boy Ernie in this one area where I know he's there because I'm the one who buried him there. So what they're suggesting is is that I place a large rock or concrete slab over the area just to keep the animals away. I'm a naturalist. I can't do that. I just don't have it

6:26in my heart to do something like that. For instance, not even six or seven feet from where Ernie is currently overlooking this forest. There is a chunk of a building. It was once the county courthouse in Mecklenburg County in North Carolina that was built back in 1925. I got my hands on this because I went to the actual destruction site and got this from the workers that were on site and I brought it home because I believe in preserving history. But there's been this calling for the past two or three weeks now that has said plant this gigantic chunk of a building that once was over Ernie and my heart is saying no no and that's why I'm going against this even though research shows that this is what we should do to help preserve this. The behavior of these animals is completely natural and not a sign of aggression or disturbance. It is biology doing what biology does. Now here's the thing that they suggest if I want I can explain which animals in the

7:30area can do less or more if I want to do more research on this and I don't think that's where we are because as we grow closer and closer to the 34th day of the writing instrument being where Ernie once once lived inside what we call the mansion overlooking the forest. Maybe things will calm down but right now this area where my boy boy Ernie is the animals are restless and it's very physical. The Resurrection. It's a true story.
