You're listening to The Hidden Lightness on America Out Loud Talk Radio. I'm your host Jimmy Hinton. Well, we'll end the week with positive news for the economy. Positive numbers came out this week, and I know a lot of eyes are on the war in Iran, and rightfully so, I think that's perfectly acceptable and understandable. But these numbers are really, really important, and actually good numbers came out on Wednesday, twice, two different times, that ADP released their February private sector jobs data, and it was much better than anticipated. The private sector added 63,000 jobs in February, which is above expectations.
And we'll talk about what this means for the economy, what it means for you. The stock market is taking a dive right now, and that's because of the geopolitical problems in the Middle East, and that's perfectly normal. This is very typical, and the market will correct itself. And there are alarmists out there who are talking about the economy's crashing, and this just proves it, and you should pull your retirement money out because it's going to crash and burn, and I just want to break that down a little bit, and talk about the historical data whenever we've come out of a geopolitical mess, which President Trump has vowed that this war is going to end very soon, that we're ahead of schedule. He originally said three, maybe four weeks, and we should be pulling everybody out, pulling troops out,
and I tend to agree. I think he has a very clear plan. They knew that Iran was going to throw everything that they had at the United States, and what they're doing in bombing other countries is that they're trying to deplete the United States financially. They know that we can't spend an endless amount of money on a war, and so they're literally throwing everything that they have to try to make this a very expensive war for us. Well, in the meantime, we have been very strategic with what we've taken out. We've taken out, I think, now 11, or maybe even 14 of their ships, very strategic ships. We've taken out much of their air fleet, and they just, they keep going.
We're being very strategic with this. We've bombed over 2,000 very strategic sites, and we definitely have brought Iran to their knees, and that's the plan. So back to the economy, a lot of people are panicking over the economy, and I want us to keep a clear head about this, because panic doesn't do us much good. Getting emotional doesn't do us a whole lot of good. We've got to look at numbers, we have to trust the numbers, and we've got to learn how to kind of proceed from there. What do we do? How does that affect us? How does that affect our families? What sectors are vulnerable right now, and what sectors are doing exceptionally well? Because none of us like seeing people laid off from work.
None of us like being laid off from work, though I'm guessing that probably the majority of us have been in that position. I've been there before, I've been laid off a couple of times before, due to companies downsizing or coming to a close, and that's just, that's part for the course. It happens we need to be prepared for it. As Americans, we typically are not prepared for any kind of change, any kind of fluctuation in, in our income. In fact, I want you to listen to these numbers, because these are staggering. And it's really important to wrap our minds around this, and this is not a judgment that's just saying that this is where Americans are right now. But 21 to 28% of Americans have no emergency savings whatsoever. None. 30 to 43% of Americans lack sufficient emergency savings to cover basic expenses for one single month if they lost their job.
Many report zero savings at all. Roughly one in four Americans, 25 to 28% of Americans have zero emergency savings. Now that number is a little bit different than what I just read, 21 to 28% it depends on the source. But roughly anywhere from 21 to 28% have zero emergency savings. Nearly half of Americans, 43% to 49% cannot cover a $1,000 emergency expense without borrowing. That's according to CBS News. Now there are multiple sources and I've looked at lots of them over the years and they're all within the ballpark right in this area, right in this neighborhood. So you think about that half of Americans, half of Americans can't afford a $1,000 emergency expense.
And we've all had them repairs on cars are incredibly expensive. I literally just put $3,000 in a matter of less than two months into one of my vehicles. And that was all repairs unexpected repairs. So we budget for that my wife and I budget and of course that wiped out and nearly wiped out our car budget for repairs. But we budget for these kinds of things. We budget for emergencies and most Americans, half of Americans could not afford a $1,000 emergency expense. We need our car. That's why we have an emergency fund for our car. We need our house. That's why we have emergency expenses, emergency funds, savings for the house. We need each other. That's why we have emergency funds for medical expenses and on and on it goes. Now some people just lump emergency expenses altogether or their emergency savings rather.
But most Americans, half of Americans at least couldn't even afford a $1,000. And I think, man, if you even sneeze sideways, you could spend $1,000 easily on some kind of emergency. Somebody breaks a leg. You know, you have a kid that does something in these ditches. You have a car that breaks down. Like I said, I have a car I know firsthand literally within the last few weeks. I've dropped $3,000 in car repairs. 3,000. And though I didn't like spending that much, my wife and I didn't really flinch at that because we had saved for it. We'd set aside for these kinds of emergencies. A lot of Americans, 30 to 50% of Americans have less than one month of savings.
That's according to different 2025 and 2026 reports. So this is current. Nearly half of Americans could not make it one month if they lost their job. And so this is really important and these numbers are important and we really must pay attention to them folks. So with that said, here we have it. Companies in the private sector added 63,000 jobs in February. Payroll processing firm ADP said on Wednesday. They estimated 50,000 jobs. The prior months payrolls number was revised lower to a gain of just 11,000 from initially reported gain of 22,000. We see an increase in hiring and pay gains remain solid, especially for job stares said Naila Richardson, ADP chief economist.
But with hiring concentrated in only a few sectors, our data shows no widespread pay benefit from changing jobs. In fact, the pay premium for switching employers hit a record low in February. And so they're saying long term, you're better off if you stay long term at a job. And that's just the current state of the economy right now. Education and health services added 58,000 positions. That was the leading job creation in February. And I think that's going to continue to grow construction added 19,000 information gained 11,000 and other services added 6,000. So in other words, if right now you want to migrate to where the biggest needs are, it's education and health services. There's a huge demand right now. There are tons and tons and tons of teachers that are retiring. We're seeing this within our school districts and I'm sure this has been replicated all across America.
We need people to go into the education field. This is wildly different from just 20 years ago, at least in our state. In Pennsylvania 20 years ago, not even 20 years ago, 15 years ago, there was an over abundance of people going into education. It was highly competitive. Every position in our local school districts had about 150 to 250 applicants per position. Now they're begging people. It's very difficult to find applicants, let alone to find people to fill the positions. So education health services, we know that the health services has been hit pretty hard. There's a huge demand, not enough people going into nursing and nursing is a wide open field, but doctors, nurses, PAs, all of those wide open field.
So the jobs are out there and I don't care what people say. They complain about the economy, they complain about Trump ruining everything. Everything he touches just turns to crap. But if you look out there, there are plenty of jobs. Plenty of availability. I've talked repeatedly about micro. I happen to really respect micro. I think that he has a good, a good finger on the pulse of what's happening in America within the job force. Deadly jobs in America, there's fact here's an article here, deadliest jobs in America revealed. Deadly jobs, dirty jobs, those jobs are jobs that people don't typically want to take. And the fields are wide open, absolutely wide open. Financial activities added 2,000 jobs, natural resources and mining gained 2,000 and leisure and hospitality added 1,000.
There's a growing shift in America. And this I think needs to be on a radar. Look how many people bought RVs back during the pandemic. People just went, they were like, heck with it. Life is short. You never know when you're going to go, when you're going to go, when you're going to die and they just went out and started buying RVs like crazy. That field absolutely skyrocketed. I mean, it just it went haywire. And now leisure and hospitality, it's fallen like a rock. And I think I saw somewhere that the repossessions on RVs is really high. I have to look that up and double check. Yeah, here we go. I just looked up the car and RV repossessions are experiencing a significant surge with industry data indicates levels of distress not seen since the 2009 great recession.
This is driven by high vehicle prices, high gas prices, elevated interest rates, overall inflation. And a lot of consumers are finding it impossible to keep up with the payments. Well, I guess so. If you can't even come up with a thousand dollars in an emergency of half of Americans can't come up with a thousand dollars. And they certainly can't make it for 30 days. If they lose their job, they can't make up 30 days in an emergency. I guess repossessions are going to be pretty high. People are stretched to thin. People are taken out way too much debt. And we have a debt hungry nation. People are house poor. Gary Vee talks about this all the time. He said that we have a crisis in America where people are house poor.
Technically, their net worth looks like it's high on paper. But they're house poor. They may not have other debt. But they're taken out mortgages that are way in over their heads and they're upside down on the mortgages. And all it takes is one emergency to miss a couple payments and the bank is knocking on your door. Trust me, the bank will come and get their money by their money. I mean, their house. Yeah, we talk about this all the time. When before we had our mortgage paid off, we always said this is not our house. This house belongs to the bank. Once we pay it off and we have the deed in hand, then it's our house. Kind of. We're still paying property taxes. So technically, I guess the government owns the house now. Because if you miss your property tax payments, they're going to come knocking on the door and they're going to take their house, which should be your house.
But at any rate, there's a huge surge in the numbers. Car rate possessions increased 43% between 2022 and 2024, reaching an estimated 1.73 million to 2.5 million vehicles every single year that are repossessed. That's crazy. Absolutely crazy. It's a problem. I mean, it's a problem and we need to acknowledge it. We're coming up on a break here. According to the ADP 63,000 jobs were added in February these are private sector jobs and estimated 50,000 were supposed to be added but the numbers came out better than expected so this is good news for the economy but we have to take the economy as a whole we really have to look at the economy as a whole and realize that a lot of Americans are in trouble and we've got to get a grip on our own personal debt and I talk about this because I'm very passionate about it of course you know I I wrote a book recently and the title of my book is tithing your time treasure and talent.
And it's talking about how we we give the first fruits back to God right that everything that we have is not our own and I've always taken that position I've always taken that stance that we don't take anything for granted the air that we breathe the water that we drink the food that we have the freedoms that we have all that can be taken out in a heartbeat we have less control over things than what we think we do. And therefore we can't take them for granted we shouldn't take anything for granted not in this life and I truly believe I truly believe to my core based on the scriptures and just based on experience that everything that we have is a gift everything. The roof over our house over our head the cars that we drive the jobs that we have the water we drink the air we breathe it's all a gift from God and we're not promised tomorrow I don't care what people say I'm not into the health and wealth gospel where if you're just faithful to God he's just gonna bless you beyond measure and
you know the storehouses are gonna be full and you're gonna be healthy and happy and eat drink and be married and live happily ever after again I don't believe that I've experienced too much heartache within my own family. We've experienced multiple crises and we live in a broken world anything can happen things are unsure and so the things that we can control we should control. You know there are a few things that we have control of in in in this life but the things that we do have control of we should take control of and we should honor God with our time with his money is really his time with the time that he's given us with the money that he's given us with with everything we should honor God.
And that's the whole premise of the book is we tie their time that means we take the first 10% of our time do we take 10% of our time and give that back to God in the morning when we wake up do we dedicate the first 10% of our time to God in the form of helping other people giving praise to him. Thanking him for the gift of another day or do we squander that do we do we talk about my my my do we say oh well this is my job and my time and therefore I'm gonna buy whatever I want I'm gonna go out I'm gonna I'm gonna look for the car that I want I'm gonna get the RV that I want the boat you know we try to fill our life with all these things and it's really sadly costing Americans dearly. I'm gonna read you some of these numbers and they're alarming I mean I got to tell you they're alarming as I mentioned we have roughly half of Americans who could not make it 30 days if they lost their job and people lose their jobs all the time happens all the time 42% of Americans say that their savings would not help them if they lost their lost their job today.
Nearly half of Americans their savings would not help them if they lost their job what that tells me is they have not saved enough 43 to 49% of Americans would be unable to pay 1000 dollar emergency expense using only savings 21 to 28% of Americans have zero emergency savings whatsoever. Well I guess your emergency savings can't help you if you don't have any 30 to 50% of Americans have less than one month of savings according to 2025 and 26 reports well I was talking about before the break the repossessions of both cars and RVs and these numbers are incredibly alarming. Car repossessions have increased 43% between 2022 and 2024 reaching an estimated 1.73 million to 2.5 million vehicles every single year that are repossessed.
And I'm not making light of this but this is this is another job that's wide open there's a huge demand for tow truck drivers. Because of all these repossessions it's sad it's heartbreaking. So the projections for 2025 suggested that repossession numbers would exceed 3 million nearing the record highs of 2009 now I don't know if the numbers actually broke 3 million I don't think those reports are out yet. At least I can't find them but it was projected that last year repossessions would top 3 million vehicles in the year roughly 5% of auto loans were 90 days or more delinquent by the end of 2024. Subprime auto loans are under particular stress with 60 day delinquency rates hitting 30 year highs three decades I mean this is it's heartbreaking.
People are overextended they're buying the next shiny vehicle that comes along and I just I can't sound that warning loud enough don't buy a car that you can't afford. We prefer cash my wife and I have always paid cash with the exception of I say one and a half times one time we bought a new car which is we paid very aggressively on that and paid that off in fact that was our most recent car. That was when covid prices were still in place for used cars they were outrageously priced. We bought a brand new car and we paid it off very very aggressively very aggressively. Another time we didn't quite have enough cash it was an emergency situation we had a car that we planned on keeping for many many years and it developed a problem and we just determined it wasn't worth we would have had to get a whole new engine and it wasn't worth that.
So we hand picked the vehicle we wanted and paid almost cash for it we were short just a few thousand dollars and in three months we had it paid him full we had a three month car payment. And so most Americans don't do that they they the average car payment is over seven hundred dollars per car. Unbelievable and that's just a car that's not the RV's and the boats and all that stuff let's look at RV repossessions that trend. Is creating a major uptick in RV repossessions. A lot of people are living in RV's because they were priced out of traditional housing and they can't afford the RV's RV's are expensive. They depreciate really quickly I know I have one I have a motor home and it's used it's nothing nothing that fancy.
But my wife and I fixed it up we put thousands of dollars into it and it's just every single year. We just pump more and more money into it. And we know like we know it's a liability. We could rent it out we did rent it out for a short time and then it just we we didn't have the time and decided well we're just. Instead of making an ask that we'll just keep it as a liability and yeah we know we know it's a toy it's an expensive toy we know that. We knew that when we got it. But for us the payoff is it's okay because we don't have any debt. And so for us it's just it's a fun little toy but I know the amount of money that you have to put into these things I know from experience. And a lot of people buy them and they think that if they buy new or buy almost new they're not going to have to put that much money into them well I've got news for you.
I don't care if you buy them brand new they're going to have problems. So as I mentioned the average monthly payment for a new car is about 700 dollars a month used cars average 500 a month. I mean it's so insane how expensive cars are maintenance costs can exceed 500 a month that's just on cars. Inflation and interest rate hikes eroded customer purchasing power. And there's the end of pandemic leniency you remember in the pandemic they were allowing people to default on payments. You could default on your mortgage and not be kicked out of your house you could default on your utilities and not be not face shutdowns.
You could default on car payments and you would be alright. Well those days are over. And so I think people got accustomed to that and they're like oh that you know it won't affect me and look what's happening. It absolutely 100% affects you it affects all of us. So their estimates shows as many as 20,000 cars are being repossessed every single day. Negative equity a lot of individuals most in fact I would say probably most are facing situations where they're upside down in equity they have negative negative equity on their car. So they still owe money after their car has been repossessed and sold. They still that right that doesn't get you out of your pay it's not like the bank repossesses the car then they call it even if you have negative equity in your car.
And a lot of people don't even know what that means they're like what what what is negative equity. It's just sad folks people are not educated the the when it comes to that I'm not saying people are not educated people are not educated when it comes to their loans what it means what they owe when they owe it. What it means to be upside down in equity to have negative equity. The amount of people who lease cars thinking that that's a good financial decision is staggering. And so on and on it goes and people have stretched themselves and they're complaining about jobs. And they're pointing the fingers at President Trump as if it's his fault that Americans have overextended themselves. So at any rate the opportunities are out there I'm telling you the opportunities are there the opportunities to save the opportunities for jobs and job growth.
I mean let's look at some of these numbers before the break here. Again the private sector added 63,000 jobs that's incredible in the private sector construction construction added 19,000 education and health services added 58,000 positions information that's the AI sector that's grown by leaps and bounds 11,000. Yeah on the negative side though professional and business services lost 30,000 manufacturing lost 5,000 positions trade transportation and utilities lost 1000 so they're kind of stabilized here. But the real growth is an education the real growth is in health services.
How long have I been barking up that tree especially health services for elderly people. That door is wide open wide open and it continues to be wide open and it will continue to be wide open we have an aging population in the United States. So we have to start asking ourselves what does that mean because a lot of people you know sadly what happens is people come up with a dream and they're like well I want to get in this industry and they don't research it they've not been taught to research it young people have been taught you have to go to college you have to gain an education or you're never going to make it anywhere in life and so they they fall for that hookline and sinker and they're not told what sectors are growing. You want to talk about a field that's wide open right now electricians my goodness is that field wide open. That's not only recession proof it's depression proof.
And yet those jobs are looked down on and the people don't really want them and well that's you know there's not that much money in it that job is beneath me. You know we hear these kinds of things and it's crazy there's such opportunity folks I can't I just can't over over state this. And I feel like a broken record a lot of the times. But the economy is so robust right now. And we'll talk after break about the stock market because it did take a big hit. And a lot of people are going to look at that and they'll say see this is an indication that the economy is about to crash it's about to go down flames or up and flames. And people are going to lose jobs and it's just it's the there's it's the great depression. Now I'm not arguing that we're not headed for some kind of a recession. We're definitely long overdue but we can weather that storm we have to be prepared for it.
And that's when I'm trying to get across to people we've got to prepare we don't know for certain all that we know is there are plenty of opportunities out there. There are lots and lots and lots of jobs available tons of vacancies lots of recession proof jobs. We've got to be preparing for this folks. We shouldn't be caught with our proverbial pants down. And then point the fingers they see Trump cause this. Mark my words. We've got to be prepared. Now is our time my fellow Americans America out loud dot news liberty and justice for all. The economy is adding many many more jobs in February we had positive job numbers that came out.
We had other numbers that were positive for the economy. In fact on Wednesday morning the ISM services PMI numbers came out and they were actually very good. Anything over 50 shows that the industry expansion is happening anything below 50 means that there's a contraction. The number was 56.1 and it was projected to be 53.5 so well above expected. So it's a leading indicator of economic health. Businesses react to market conditions and their purchasing managers hold the most current relevant insight into the company's view of the economy. So it's a survey of 300 that this is the PMI the ISM services PMI it's a survey of 300 purchasing managers and it asked them to to rate the relative level of business conditions including employment production new orders prices supplier deliveries and inventories.
And so based on the latest survey. It's looking pretty darn good. So we've got to keep a focus on this folks. We hear all the time that the economy is crashing that Trump is ruining everything he's wrecking the economy. And we look at the numbers and the numbers are they're really positive at least for now. And I don't want to sensationalize anything I just want to read the numbers exactly as they are. And I follow these numbers very closely because I happen to trade foreign exchange currencies. And so what's happening in the economy is very very important when it comes to fundamentals. And I want to talk about the stock market right now because it's it's taking a hit. And that's because of the geopolitical mess that's going on right now in our end.
But this is perfectly normal it's 100% normal. And a lot of people are panic selling right now I actually have not contributed in 2026 yet because I've been kind of sitting on my hands waiting to see what's happening and waiting for a little bit of a correction. And this might just be the correction that the market was anticipating right now. You know the market doesn't just go up in a straight line it doesn't go up and up and up and up and up. And there are times of volatility and right now the market is very volatile. And that can be a very good opportunity for people. And that's why it's really important to have extra money to not be strapped down with that like over half of Americans are right now. Now you need to have cash flow to be able to put into investments I'm a firm firm firm believer in that.
That you can't just save yourself by save yourself I mean put money into savings you can't save yourself to wealth. You know wealth building comes through providing assets and that can be in many different forms there are a million different paths to to wealth building. But the opportunity is here and that's one of the things that drives me crazy is when people talk about how all the opportunity to build wealth is it's been stripped away. Well the boomers will tell you quit buying your seven dollar Starbucks you know back in our day we didn't go out to eat. We didn't buy new shoes when our shoes were out. We literally taped them together and we just made it work. Well that was back in the olden days you know well they did what they had to do to survive.
That's how the boomers built their wealth. They were not wasteful. They didn't buy a brand new car every time you know every four years every time they saw something that looked shiny. And they were like hey there's a hundred thousand dollar car I'm going to go on by that because it's cool it looks cool. You know we have to be smart about this folks I'm telling you watching families come to financial ruin is it it's so painful. I literally just got an email the other day I got an email saying that there's a local woman who owes almost five thousand dollars in electric. Just that's just one utility just electric. And I was just it breaks my heart I thought how do you get to the point how many payments do you have to miss to rack up a five thousand dollar electric bill.
And her electric was going to be cut off on money of this week I doubt that she got the money. There were a handful of churches that pledged small amounts but we get there's we get these requests every single day every day. That's just in our local community we can't keep up with it and so I see that side of it I see the side and that's why I'm driven to talk about this stuff. It's why I'm driven to talk about the economy and and to inform people to to the best my ability. You know that's the hidden lightness I'm not just about blowing sunshine and making things look like they're good when they're really not you take the good with the bad. And you look for opportunities and right now the stock market I'm looking for opportunities. You know it's bargain shopping it's it's going to the thrift store.
It's an enemy my wife just the other day she bought a pair of jeans for the first time and I forget how many years she said I think three years. She's been buying all of her stuff from a thrift store literally all of her clothing comes from from a thrift store. Same with my daughter they go together. It's kind of the mommy daughter date and I absolutely love in a door that my wife and daughter do that together it's so cool. And my wife said I just I couldn't find anything there was nothing the thrift store and I've been looking for a really long time. So she said I'm going to go to a regular store she called it she called it a normal person store. She came home and she's like I'm a little depressed. I was like what did you get the pair of jeans that that you wanted and she's like yeah well then why are you depressed because of what I paid for them.
And she bought a whole bunch of clothing she got actually got quite a bit she still was a bargain shopping. But she spent about a hundred dollars on clothes for her and all three of our kids and I was like hundred dollars ain't bad. She's like yeah but I could have gotten all this stuff at the thrift store for twenty dollars. And it's just that mentality right it's it's that that way of thinking that you look for bargains and once you're in that mindset once you become disciplined in that you learn to look for opportunities everywhere. With the cars you buy with the food you buy you know we shop at two different stores to buy groceries it's a little bit of a pain in the butt but you look for opportunities. You look for deals. And so the stock market right now what you're going to hear is oh my gosh Trump is he's he's crashing the stock market it's in free fall.
No it's not. Here's an article just published on March 3rd this is CNBC.com. Dow closes down four hundred points after falling as much as twelve hundred points as iron clump conflict volatility continues live updates. I'll read a little bit about this a little bit from this article. Stocks had another wild session on Tuesday is concerns about around a prolonged US iron conflict rattled markets. Though comments from President Donald Trump appeared to somewhat usage those worries Dow Jones industrial average lost four hundred and three point five one points or point eight three percent. And ended at forty eight thousand five hundred and one point two seven the S&P five hundred slipped point nine four percent to close it sixty or sorry six thousand eight hundred and sixteen point six three.
While NASDAQ shed one point two percent or one point zero two percent. At their lows of the day the S&P five hundred lost two point five percent the NASDAQ was down around two point seven percent. The thirty stock Dow was down more than twelve hundred points or two point six percent. All right so that's enough to make anybody panic if you're sitting there watching the market. That translates to thousands and thousands of dollars out of your portfolio that's gone in a matter of literally minutes. So if you listen to the narrative especially from the world of of all things Trump sucks. You would be led to believe that the stock market is crashing you got to pull your money out before it's all gone it's going to put vanish all of it gone. And so you better pull your money out.
Don't fall for it. Here's what President Trump said. He said on Tuesday that the US Navy will escort tankers through the straight of hormones. Because Iran's threatened to bomb every ship that passes through there or to block passage of all ships. Trump said no I don't think so. So he said no matter what the United States will ensure the free flow of energy to the world. He said in a truth social post the United United States is economic and military might is the greatest on earth. More actions to come. So it's reassuring and you know of course the critics are going to point to Trump and say he's full of crap and he doesn't know what he's talking about and he's abumbling idiot and he's just starting all these wars across the world and he's aggravating our allies and hopefully you're getting a different picture than what the media is painting.
I demonstrated yesterday when our military pilots were shot down friendly fire over Kuwait the Kuwaitis were absolutely welcoming and hospitable to them. It took a little bit for the one pilot it was low dicey because they thought he was an Iranian but once he was identified as an American they they were thanking him. One of them they put in the back of an SUV and took him to a military base. So the world has a respect it really does. So in any rate I believe things are going to wrap up pretty quickly. This is not going to be a drug out war. I didn't watch this piece on it but Glenn Beckhead had done a piece on why this war is different and why he truly believes that this is going to be a short war that we should believe President Trump and he said and I'm not asking people to just blindly listen to him and take his word for it.
He said this is based on a whole bunch of other reports that this war is very different than other wars and that's a good thing. You know the President Trump vowed that he wouldn't drag a war out and he wasn't going to enter us into endless wars and so when it comes to the economy. You know he's not a stupid guy and he's not going to do something that cripples the United States. Now I think he's proven by now that that's the last thing that he wants is for America to be crippled and so everything that he does he's doing that to position us and to strengthen us as a nation. So that may not give people much comfort and that's okay. People can still debate all day long but the way that the market reacts and it responds to things really tells a story and right now we really are positioning ourselves to be to continue to be a very very very strong economy.
So at the end of the day excuse me my allergies are really bad this time of year as spring rolls in so my voice suffers because of it. But in this time of year I really think we're positioned to be in a very good spot. But it's up to Americans it's up to us it's up to the individuals to take responsibility to take responsibility for own actions to stop pointing fingers and to stop talking about how we're always victims. You know I just I don't accept the victim mentality. Yeah our things higher is the cost of living higher. Yep absolutely. But that's part of life and so you adjust and you move forward. You know we can't always point the fingers and be full of hatred and talk about how people are screwing up you know the this president or that president or this person or that politician this politician that politician we can't keep pointing fingers and not taking any responsibility ourselves.
So we have such an opportunity to thrive in this nation it's I can't even begin to describe describe the opportunity that we have as Americans. I mean we truly truly are blessed you hear me say that all the time and I really truly believe it we're blessed beyond measure. And so the question is what are we going to do with that blessing. Are we going to bury ourselves in debt to the point where we're losing our homes because a lot of people are doing that losing our cars losing our things. Are we going to position ourselves to thrive and I'm not talking about survive people talk about they're like oh I hope I can survive this presidency. Why would you want to survive. Wouldn't you rather thrive. Wouldn't you rather do exceptionally well I'm telling you that opportunity is there.
It is that every single person's fingertips. We just have to be aggressive and take hold of it. We can't stay down we can't remain victims. We have the ability to thrive and that my friends is the hidden lightness America is great. We're in a great great position right now.
