It is Tuesday, October 6th, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. Boulder, Sue's oil company, big win in the Supreme Court, another Chicago murder, and a major win in Brazil. That's all coming up. Then Bill is going to be here with your message of the day. But first, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments about a case out of Boulder, Colorado.

That city sued ExxonMobil and an energy company. Justice Alito recused himself, so Boulder only needs four votes to win, unfortunately. The lawyer for the energy company said if Boulder's claims are allowed to go forward, some 90,000 municipalities across the country will have the ability to make national and international energy policy by asking juries to impose catastrophic damages on fossil fuel producers. His argument is that only the federal government can deal with matters of air and water pollution not states or towns. Boulder is suing to recoup costs for, quote, deceptive marketing and the dangerous side effects of fossil fuels. The US Supreme Court reversed a lower court's restriction and approved the Trump administration's plan to end temporary protected status for hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans. Now, the Supreme Court already ruled in a similar case, but that was only related to people who had TPS from Haiti and Syria. But now the Supreme Court says this administration can end TPS for Venezuelans as well,

to believe there are 500,000 Venezuelans in America with temporary protected status. A seven-year-old girl in Chicago was stabbed to death while walking down the sidewalk with her sister. The suspect's murder is 48-year-old woman charged with first degree murder. Of course, she's been charged with multiple crimes before prior convictions for assault, attacked a bus driver to sentence two years probation. She violated that probation by assaulting two shelter workers sentenced to court supervision. The mayor of Chicago said no child should ever have to fear for her life simply walking through her neighborhood. It's happened at noon when with the people of Chicago just had enough. Conservative and pro-American Flavio Bolsonaro beat the incumbent president Lula in an election in Brazil on Sunday. Bolsonaro won 47% of the vote. Lula, 45. So there's going to be the final round runoff on October 25th. But the eliminated third parties are nearly

all on the right. So Bolsonaro is heavily favored. If he wins, that means during this Trump administration, the left has not won a single election in Latin or South America. And now nearly all of Latin and South America is pro-Trump and pro-America, a massive shift in our hemisphere in just two years. I'm excited for the podcast Politics by Faith. The great Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day. Next. Emergency home repairs can be unbelievably expensive. We all know that. Time now for the O'Reilly update, message of the day. On this Tuesday, I am again thinking about Iran. Last Wednesday, I was, I should into a meeting with President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the White House, the primary topic, Iran, a very frustrating situation that will influence the midterm vote. It is inside America that the Iranian war is

taking a heavy toll. The Democrats are calling a situation Trump's war or an illegal war. Apparently, the party would surrender to the mullers. President Trump leaves the U.S. intel that says Iran will soon collapse because food and other necessities are running out. To me, Iran has had more than enough time to be reasonable. The straight-of-war moves, according to intel, is 70% open and the Iranian people are ready to revolt. However, one final violent push will likely be necessary. If that happens, the Democrats and their media allies will run wild. That's a given. And sadly, many American voters will support the descent. My analysis is not partisan. I want what is best for the nation and the state of Iran

being neutralized is what's best. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at billorily.com, billitbillorily.com, name and town if you wish to opine. Now, John Consieres, remember, when Joe Biden was president, and I was paying $5 a dozen eggs last week, it paid $1.50. That's a pretty big discount. The exception of gas most prices have stabilized in my area. That's the way it is in a lot of areas. That's the problem. Eggs are down. That's for sure. Lloyd Midrani got a lot of flak for saying 47% of Americans would vote President Obama due to government dependency. While he's wrong about President Trump, that statement appears to be accurate. There's a lot of giveaways, but President Trump's given him money away too. So everybody's given money away. Not good.

Al Smith, bill in regard to super intelligence, you say China is not going to have any restraint. They're going to try to dominate, yet you want laws passed by Congress to restrict our development of SI. Not to restrict it to oversee any kind of illegality. The big difference. John Rimer, Lexington Park, Maryland, I wrote you about two weeks ago, stating this SI is the most profound issue in our lifetime. I'm anti-historic a big time, but this is serious. You're advocating regulation of this calling for legislation failed to understand. No one knows how to stop rogue AI. Yeah, they don't know the full horror of what may come down, but it's not too late to put structures in place. Follow my logic here. In a moment, something you might not know.

Do it now. Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 65 years ago today, President John F. Kennedy advised Americans to build fallout shelters. Should the Soviet Union use atomic weapons against the USA? Here is the story. America dropped two nuclear bombs on Japan in August 1945. In response, the Russians under Stalin began to develop their own nuclear program. Tensions rose between America and the Soviet Union in the early 1960s. First, the Bay of Pigs invasion of Communist Cuba, then the construction of the Berlin Wall. By the fall, the Soviets began testing new bombs over Kazakhstan. On October 6, 1961, President Kennedy released the following statement.

There is need for a nationwide understanding of what each level of government, each private organization and each citizen can do to bring about and maintain the best attainable protection for the civilian population against the major effects of a thermonuclear attack. On quote, the following July, JFK addressed the nation. I hope the hearings I held. I hope they can be held this month. I hope we are secure the money we requested. As you know, within the last 10 days, I have sent up a supplemental appropriation request for around $35 million for the distribution of food throughout the country, which would be available in case of an attack. These matters have some rhythm when the skies are clear, no one is interested. Suddenly, when the clouds come and they, after all, we know we have no insurance that they will not come. Then everyone wonders why more hasn't been done about it.

Before his assassination, the Kennedy administration built more than 100,000 shelters beneath buildings, playgrounds, apartments, public schools, and hospitals. Private families constructed 200,000 shelters. And here's something else you might not know. Today, the federal government no longer recommends physical shelters for nuclear war. Instead, FEMA has shifted its focus toward emergency evacuations. Here's my question. To where? Back in a moment. Emergency home repairs can be unbelievably expensive. We all know that. If a water heater goes down, regular homeowners insurance might not cover that wear and tear. Home served offers plans covering various systems, plumbing, HVAC, electrical.
