About this episode
When 39-year-old Eric Richins died unexpectedly in his sleep, the people who loved him were left searching for answers. But there was one thing they couldn't ignore: before he died, Eric had warned his family that his wife, Kouri, wasn't who she appeared to be. At first, those words seemed impossible to understand. Then, just months after his death, Kouri published a children's book about helping kids cope with the loss of a parent, a book she said was inspired by her own grief. To everyone, she looked like a devoted widow trying to help other families through unimaginable loss. But less than a year later, the truth would begin to unravel, and Eric's family would finally learn what really happened.
