The Helper You've Been Ignoring

Sixty-plus episodes in, and I had to admit something to you today. I've never once taught on the Holy Spirit. Not one time. So today I'm getting honest about why, and what it's cost me.

This is Truth Unveiled with Ralph, where we look at faith without the spin.

Here's what we got into today:

• I confess the gap in sixty-plus episodes and why I think it's bigger than just me
• I read John 14:15-27, where Jesus promises His disciples a Helper the night before the cross
• I walk through three ways I've personally turned the Holy Spirit into a feeling, someone else's problem, and a mascot, using my own accounting practice as the mirror
• I dig into the Greek word Parakletos, the one called alongside you, and tell you about a widow I sat with in my office who taught me what that actually looks like
• I get into Romans 8:26-27, the Spirit interceding with groanings too deep for words, for the mornings you sit down to pray with nothing
• I give you five practical places this changes things: your prayer life, a decision you're stuck on, your marriage, learning to tell conviction from condemnation, and one sentence to say before your feet hit the floor Monday morning
• I close with a prayer, and an invitation if you've never asked Jesus to send you that helper
