About this episode
“Patriots, the fight for truth doesn't stop at the screen, it's hitting the road again. Badlands media is rolling into Nashville on April 9th through 12th for the next stop on the Great American Restoration Tour.”From the transcript
Jon Herold reacts to the sudden shift from fears of a “civilization ending” conflict with Iran to a proposed ceasefire and peace negotiations. He breaks down Trump’s latest statements, including tariff threats and a potential joint economic venture in the Strait of Hormuz, while questioning the consistency of the narrative. The episode focuses heavily on the public and media reaction cycle, highlighting how quickly influencers and commentators escalated from panic to criticism. Jon suggests that much of this may be intentional, designed to provoke reactions and expose underlying agendas. He closes with a broader reflection on information warfare, urging listeners to remain critical thinkers and avoid emotional manipulation in an increasingly chaotic media environment.

Nashville is called. The Restoration continues. Get your passes today and see you in Music City. Well, good afternoon everybody and welcome to the Daily Herald here on Badlands Media. I'm your host John Herald and guys like I said yesterday, this is a pre-recorded episode. It is fairly early in the morning right now and this is probably going to be like 20 to 30 minutes and I know that's much less than you would typically want for me but it's all you're going to get today. I have to leave to the airport here like within an hour and I haven't finished packing. Didn't sleep well
last night just excuse after excuse but we've had some major developments in the super serious civilization ending regime change war with Iran and we're going to kind of pick up where we left off yesterday and get the conclusion to that story and we'll just talk about that briefly. I do miss you guys. I wish I could be doing this live and engaging with you guys but you gotta get down to Nashville. We act dark coming up starting tomorrow is the VIP dinner which is crazy. So make sure you guys get those virtual tickets if you haven't yet. I'm going to be just a fantastic, fantastic weekend. Can I wait to get down there? But yeah so let's uh it's it's almost comical. I think we we saw this coming right. Mean burning by we recorded the power hour for tonight. We recorded that last night and we talked about the update and how just wild it is. The Trump's true social post where he
said some words about you know wiping out a civilization or he didn't even say he was going to wipe it out technically it maybe did. He just said a civilization was going to end or die tonight. It's wild that people actually believed he was going to do that. People were decoding it and cheering for it expecting it and it's like that's not the Trump we have come to know and love. You really think Trump was it's going to do that? Like nuke I ran and kill everybody there to solve the Middle Eastern conflict. A lot of people thought he was going to do it. But anyway yesterday in an update to the story we got this. Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif and Field Marshal Aseem Munir of Pakistan and wherein they requested that I hold off on the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran and subject to the Islamic Republic of
Iran agreeing to complete an immediate and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz. I agreed to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks two weeks to slow the spread. This will be a double-sided ceasefire. The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all military objectives and are very far along with a definitive agreement concerning long-term peace. I'm sorry with Iran and peace in the Middle East. We received a 10-point proposal from Iran and believed it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. Almost all the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran. But a two-week period will allow the agreement to be finalized and consummated on behalf of the United States of America as President and also representing the countries of the Middle East. It is an honor to have this long-term problem close to resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump. So everybody, all the people we talked about yesterday who were freaking
out calling for the impeachment, the 25th Amendment, the people who we discussed as being never actually supportive of Trump, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to split him from his base. Peers, they were wrong. It appears they were discombobulated. Trump didn't do the thing that they wanted to do. And the follow from this yesterday, it was almost it was almost just a silly. Like the people who were fear-mongering and like calling for his impeachment and all these things, a lot of those same people were basically saying he like Benthani, he caved. He's a pussy. And some people rationalizing it as if this was all JD vans because that's it's all separate up. But it makes you wonder like a lot of the stuff, you know, with the back channels and the negotiations, we have no idea what's really going on, right? But
we speculate that, you know, what if maybe they've they've had this, this conclusion in place, they already had this, he's still, we don't know who they're negotiating with. We don't know what the terms are, we're just being told these stories. But is it possible they had this negotiation, worked out a couple days ago over the weekend? And then he puts out that post yesterday, knowing full well, he already had something ready to go. And guys, total speculation here. But it fits, it fits some patterns. But then you, you look at why he would do that. It's for the reaction. But if you remember Monday, when I was talking about his Eastern message, where Trump was like, yo, fuck you, I ran. But also praise be to Allah and everybody freaked out over Trump's words again. And I had that post in which I lost like two, 300 followers or whatever
it was, where I said people clutching their pearls over Trump's words in 2026 is both retarded and totally disingenuous. That is what we saw yesterday. That is exactly what we saw yesterday. People clutching their pearls over Trump's words on social media, pretending they don't understand this is what Trump always does. And that's the thing, like you can't play dumb with this stuff. And if you're like an Alex Jones or a Tucker Carlson or these people who've been claiming to support Trump for years and years now, you're really pretending that you don't understand how Trump operates on social media when he says these things. And even if you don't, even if you want to claim ignorance to that, which is hard. It's hard for me to believe those people do. I think they're taking the totally disingenuous route. But even if you want to claim it ignorance to how Trump is operating in the past with the social media posts and the way he, you know, he'll take multiple
sides to an issue. They're the warfare. We talk about that a lot. But even just looking at like, you could go once a week, pick one of Trump's true social posts on social media, just since the Iran War started. There's one post on social media about the Iran War once a week. And within that, whatever post it is, I can almost guarantee you it's no different than what we just saw yesterday. He's all over the map. He says one thing and then contradicts it later. This is the worst almost done to their totally obliterated. We've got peace, but we're nowhere near a deal. Like the whole, the whole thing has been a contradiction constantly. And so the way the way the social media ecosystem reacted yesterday was just, it's going to, it's going to be a case study, guys. It's wild.
Absolutely wild. But we got, we got our peace now. Maybe I'd be shocked if it actually like, holds up a lot of, a lot of forces don't want the peace to take place. So I bet we'll get some stories of false flags and some of these other things like who knows. But this was a follow-up this morning. The United States will work closely with Iran, which we have determined has gone through what will be a very productive regime change. Which remember, you've looked at previous Trump true social posts or even the statements that this wasn't a regime change. They weren't going to do a regime change. But the regime did change because all the regimes dead or maimed or they can find them. But now it is a regime change. Which we should, we should be questioning ourselves whether we are okay with us just constantly going out and changing regimes. And also when Trump has said like regime change, it's always kind of been the same regime they've had before. Nothing's really changed about the regime. I think Venezuela, the template. And then the media comes out,
we talk about this in the power too. The media is like, yeah, the regime in Venezuela is pretty much the same as the old regime, but it's like working. Probably going to be a similar story here. Watching come out to be come any sun. Maybe that's who they're negotiating with. I don't know. And that's the regime change is the the air to the throne essentially. Anyway, there will be no enrichment of uranium in the United States will working with Iran, dig up and remove all of the deeply buried B2 bombers nuclear dust. Get me some of that nuclear dust. So we're going to go to the the site, the operation midnight hammer, the top gun maverick bombing site. We're going to dig up nuclear dust because they just can't have it. Wild, wild story. It is now and has been under very exacting
satellite surveillance from space force. Nothing has been touched from the date of the attack. Then why were we so worried about them never having a nuclear weapon? You know what I mean? It's like we're negotiating. We destroy the nuclear site. But we need them to know that like we need to know that they are never going to pursue a nuclear weapon, but they didn't even try to dig up their nuclear dust. Really? So silly. We are and will be talking tariff and sanctions relief with Iran. Many of the 15 points have already been agreed to. Thank you for your attention, this matter. You're welcome, sir. President Donald J. Trump. I need to fault that up with one more I think this morning. A country supplying military weapons to Iran will be immediately tariffed on any goods, sorry, on any and all goods sold to the United States of America 50% effective immediately. There will
be no exclusions or exemptions in DJT. I wonder who this is targeting is probably China, maybe Russia. Maybe the CIA. Gosh crazy stuff. What a wild, like 24 hours, a time you guys watch this maybe 30 hours. We went from the most re we've seen in a while. And basically we had almost had an entire civilization wiped off the map. We were this close guys so close to peace working with Iran to dig up nuclear dust. It's all so crazy. And everybody freaked the out. We have this from Jonathan Carl. This morning I asked President Trump if he's okay with the Iranians charging a toll for all ships that go through the strait of our moves. He told me there may be a joint US Iran venture to charge tolls. I'm thinking of doing this as a joint
venture. It's always securing and also securing it from lots of other people. It's a beautiful thing. Think about that. We've been fighting these people, right? Trump said that we've accomplished all our military objectives even though we had we could bomb all like the most devastating bomb we could have done was coming civilization and bombing by bombing the bridges and power plants which by the way like this war the story of this war has been fought in a way that no other war has been fought before. You know like if we were going to go to war against another country you would typically just like you don't care what you bomb. You just bomb the shit out of them. Like did in World War II did we like not bomb certain places in Germany because it was just a stretch too far to use it as a lever. No you just bomb the shit out of them. You just go fight. You bomb them until the war ends and so like we're strategically picking our things that aren't
the most important things. I think that's just silly but again this whole thing is silly. But now we're like the country we were out war with. Now we're doing a joint venture with them potentially when it comes to the state of our moves which was affecting the oil prices and I don't think we get a ton of our oil from the state of our moves but now we're going to be making money off the countries that do and who this was affecting like NATO the NATO countries where Trump has been like you guys need to come down here and take care of your own you need to take care of the straight we're gonna get out of here you need to come down here and get the oil yourself he encouraged them to do it they wouldn't do it and now he's going to be charging them a toll potentially. That's that's incredible that's hilarious and incredible. There's mine blowing absolutely mine blowing. What else?
We're calling it a fragile ceasefire. A fragile truce. An eclectic bipartisan group suddenly calls for moving Trump using the 25th amendment oh my gosh I'm gonna see who's in this. 25th amendment talk is back. I want to because I repeatedly floated the method for removing a president's laid out in the constitution is Donald Trump's cabinet apparently discussed the option more earnestly than many initially after the January 6th 2021 attack I don't believe that. I want to see who they said. Alex Jones a Tuesday morning right leaning advocates for the step span for more extreme influencers to former Trump White House officer official Anthony Scaramucci and that's the guy they say the Scaramucci model.
He was calling for the 25th amendment on the Q drops. MTG no surprise we've covered that. Candice Owens. They're all ops. And this is interesting. I'm gonna take a screenshot of this and send this to my group chat. He posted on Twitter. They're all processing guys. This is super important. This I could pause the recording. At least I'll scare him. I'm actually SCARAMRAMRAMR there we go. I think it was the Scaramucci model because he was a good dude right.
I think everybody liked him. Isn't that why it was Scaramucci? I guess I'm behind on why I'm asking this because I won't be able to see your response. I just think that's so funny. Scaramucci model. I'm just like reading through some of my group chat that I have with the Badland hosts and Laura Lumer breaking. Trump has sold out Israel to the terrorist mullahs in Tehran. The art of the deal was just the art of betrayal. Freakin' out. Alex Jones is saying JD brokered the piece. Oh man. This is gonna be spicy. What a great weekend for Gart.
What a great weekend. I love when Trump does this for us and gives us so much just material and things to talk about. This is incredible. So pumped. But yeah guys, I don't even know what else to talk about today. I didn't really obviously prepare much. I can get like 20-30 minutes out of just Trump's true social post and I kind of did. But yeah, I gotta get to the airport soon. But I'm gonna do my show tomorrow, I think, from the hotel. I don't know the specific plan yet, but I do plan to do that. Maybe I'll even do it live a little bit. Like from the the stage, depending how far along we are in the setup. We'll see. But know that I miss you guys. And I just wanted to give you something, something to chew on.
If you have any thoughts or questions, feel free to DM me on Twitter or Telegram or just post a plan to me on social media. But the lesson learned here guys, the lesson learned from all this. It really goes back to yesterday. And the things we talked about, these people you fall on social media and this includes badlands media. You take your information from wherever you want. People you like, the people you enjoy watching. Maybe it's more entertaining than it is informational. It doesn't matter. You take the information from wherever you want. But don't let them try to sway you. Don't become emotionally attached. Not system to me and us. But as soon as you get like a single hint of people changing their behavior, that's got to be a red flag for you. Whether it's in the direction you want it to be or not. What I mean by that is like the Tucker Carlson thing. Like I said yesterday. That's over Tucker Carlson.
And it's like pass and CIA and some of the things he said and whatever. And then as soon as he started saying the things you like, you drop your walls go down. And you start letting him have more of an influence on you because you think he's this thing. You think he's a good guy. You think he's a white hat. And maybe he is all those things. But then now he's on the flip side of it. And he's telling people to not follow lawful commands from the president, even though he didn't actually issue any commands about wiping out the civilization. He's just posted on social media. And maybe that's all went off too. We don't know. That's hard to reconcile with things. And these people are doing this to chip away at the goal here. And this is something I think I talked about this yesterday. But I know I talked about the power last night. The goal here is to get you to become apathetic. If you think somebody is a certain thing, and then also they turn on Trump and start saying he's something that he's not. What they're doing is trying to get you to be apathetic.
We don't need the 51% of the country to actually believe that we're going to lose the midterms or whatever. We don't need any of that. We just, they just need people to believe that 51% of the people think that. It doesn't have to actually be that way. It can be 5%, it can be 10%. And all these people, they've been doing nothing but building excuses us to why we're going to lose the midterms in the fraudulent elections. That's what it's all about. If you don't become emotionally attached to these characters, they can't do that to you. They can't take you away from the things that you believe in and know to be true. You will continue to be a critical thinker, and you will continue to fight in the info war. You won't black belt. You earnestly search for the truth at all times. You operate based on your first principles. If there's something that you like, you're allowed to say that. If there's something you don't like, you're also, and probably more importantly, allowed to say that too.
You don't have to agree with anybody about everything. All the time. It's crazy. I still can't believe it was the last 24 hours. It's been nuts. But we'll talk about it this weekend. Get your Gart Tickets Badlands Media.tv slash events. We are going to try to do some man on the street tomorrow. We'll be posting that in the Telegram group chat. So make sure you go get those tickets, guys. It's going to be a great weekend. And yeah, safe travels to those who are coming. Miss you guys, see you tomorrow. And I'll probably be in the chat during the power of the night. So get yourself some of that beard oil. Hit that thumbs up. And stick around bad lines here. Should be a pretty good day content, even though some of the people are traveling. Get you some of that beard oil. Now that I'm alone, I have a close up. Do you see how awesome my beard looks right now? I use the beard oil every single day. First thing comes out. You're on all spooky smooth.
I take the dropper and I manually apply the oil directly to my mustache. Nice. Oh, man, I love it. And then I do drops all throughout the hair. And then I just rub it all in. And then I top it off with the tallow stick on the face. I feel like I have to grow a beard just to try this beard oil. Let's do it, Jack. It's all from sothusclosure.com. And the best part about it is you'll be supporting bad lines media, Annie from Oldland Farms, and basically three of Annie's neighbors. So that's five total American companies that you'd be supporting with one purchase. I have been using the softest closure senseless beard oil every day after the shower. It looks unkempt, but it feels silky smooth. I want to look a little wild and unapproachable, but for the woman I trust, she'll be like, oh, it's actually kind of soft.
He is approachable after all, otherwise stay away. And softest closure will help you too with that if that's the very specific vibe you're going for. That is very specific, yes. You guys are supporting American businesses when you do that. It's absolutely incredible and you get a great, great product. Let's get started. Oh, that's real good.
