People feel the need to "pick a side" when it comes to this Cornell story. It's also okay to suggest that everyone made terrible decisions. But we shouldn't be surprised; very few people deal with sex God's way.

Welcome to Politics by Faith. This is where we take the news of the day. We bring it to the Bible so we can walk away with peace and perspective. We do it because there's new headlines every day. But it's a busy ass. It says there's nothing new under the sun. So thanks for being here to get the true story. And at the end of the show today, we will know the importance of doing it God's way. Kids warning for today's show. Kids warning. No kids should be listening to today's episode. Kids warning. Final. Okay. Story of the day today. Just give you know, I want to give you enough time to reach for the radio or something. Story of the day today, the Cornell rape story. Here is what happened back in 2024. This student, Cornell University said she was sexually assaulted at a fraternity house. She was drunk.

They were smoking marijuana. They were snorting ketamine. She claimed she was completely incapacitated while frat members were sexually assaulting her. That was back in 2024. So why is this in the news now? At the time, local authorities did not press charges on the male students. But now it's back in the news because the DA is going to bring this all to a grand jury and see if charges should in fact be filed and what the next steps should be. So what do we have here? We have, we're told, a young, helpless woman raped by a group of predatory men. And we have the story of a school once again protecting the men, right? What really happened? This is from the New York Times. New York Times giving some more details that she arrived back at her dorm room the next

morning after this happened, wearing all the clothes she wore last night. And she told her roommates what happened. Her roommates said she did not use the word rape or assault or the context at all. It wasn't, it wasn't. She didn't perceive it that way. The next day, she went to her big sister in her sorority because there were rumors going around that she was a, well, SLUT. And she told her big sister with a laugh, the rumors are true. Meaning that indeed did happen. The same day she got a text from one of the men involved there. He said, I just wanted to apologize for how things went down the other night. And she wrote back at the end of the day, none of the sexual stuff was illegal. And honestly, I really liked being with you and Matt. The next day she went to the school doctors, their school hospital area, whatever, for a urinary tract infection. She got tested for STDs.

A few days after that, she wrote to that guy, bro, everyone knows. She said this was quote, ruining her life temporarily. And then her reputation had been destroyed. And then all she could do was sleep and cry all day. He wrote back and it'll blow over soon. He talked about how fast nonsense spreads at this school. And he said that she has nothing to be ashamed of. The right she wrote back, it'll get better. A couple of days later, this time for the big Halloween party at the same fraternity. And the near time says Jane Doe was eager to attend. Tax messages included in the investigation show that one of the men assuring her that the he and the other fraternity members wanted her to be there. Kai Fie is your house and you are welcome here. He wrote relaying the views of the fraternities presidents who was not among those accused of sexual assault. Thank you. I really appreciate that. She responded with a heart.

I'll bring my sigs tomorrow, probably marijuana. But then J Doe, Jane Doe received a phone call from the fraternities president according to the tax messages. She was disinvited from the party. It was for her own good, he said. Jane Doe then sent this to New York Times, sent a biting text to Mr. Ingalls. I knew this was going to happen. That's the guy that got me in guy. I knew this was going to happen. She wrote, The woman will always get the short end of the stick. Y'all are my friends. Y'all are covering your behinds. Okay. I wasn't there. So I can't speak exactly to what happened. But I can speak generally about these kinds of things because these kinds of things happen all the time. I once talked to someone in the military who says that often husbands will go deployed. The wife back home will sleep with another man and get pregnant.

And then too, as they say, C YA, cover her behind. She will claim she was raped. I didn't cheat on you, honey. I was raped. And it will go through proper investigatory channels. And they will find out that she is in fact lying. In college, what happens often is a girl will go to a guy's dorm room or fraternity room. Everyone is very drunk, like can barely walk drunk. And they're taking a bunch of drugs, in this case marijuana and ketamine to the point where everyone is totally out of their minds. They have sex. Other guys get involved. Which by the way, again, no kids, I hope there's no kids listening. Other guys are going to vote. That is very gay. But that's what happens in our pornographic culture. It's totally messed up. We'll continue to that in a minute. Now other people have watched. Okay, so this story, she agreed. This is all, this is not like, this is part of the story.

She agreed to have a three-some with two other guys in the fraternity. And other guys in the fraternity knew what was happening. You can imagine maybe what the party scene was like or whatever they heard or saw or whatever. And then more guys started joining in. That's what happened. But this all happened because no one's in charge. No one's in control of their facilities. Is that the right word? Faculty's, faculties. But no one's in charge of their faculties at this point. So no one can stop. No one knows what's happening. Started out as a consensual three-some. She was all in. But they're all so high and drunk. No one has any idea what's going on. And then other people got involved. And then eventually it ended. She goes back, so it was up over time. Tell some girlfriends. The girls are disgusted by it. And then her perception of what happened starts to change. It's not even really so much a perception of what happened. She knows what happened. But she needs a way to save face.

She needs a way to not be the word that people are throwing around campus you to use to describe her and what she did. So she starts to say, oh, I actually didn't like it. This was all against my will. So it started off consensual. But then she later decided that it wasn't. And the easiest way to get out of this is to claim I was raped. So either this was regret initiated by the response from friends or the regret came because the guys at the Frat House were talking about it. And she became known as a sexual deviant. And she didn't like that. That wasn't part of the deal. So instead of being known as a SLUT, she decided to go with, I'm a rape victim in a way to salvage her reputation. I've seen this story many times. Hofstra University, Long Island, there was a freshman claim she was raped by five guys

in a bathroom. They were all arrested on rape charges straight up, right away arrested. Turns out there was a video of that came out later. And as soon as the video came out, she entirely changed her story. And in the end, well, she should have been charged with a crime. She wasn't. And though these five guys were, they could have been sent to prison for 25 to life. She claimed that they stole her phone, lured her into their room, tied her up and raped her. Like a horrific story, violent, horrific, worse, like, come on. Like one of the worst things ever. These guys could have gone to prison for a long time. And it was totally made up. And the only reason they got off, got off. The only reason they got, they were found innocent, charges dropped is because there happened to be a video of her consenting to it the entire time. Word is that she made it up because she had a boyfriend at the time.

And this was her way out of it. Nearly the entire college Me Too movement, which if I get my chronology right, I think came before the, like, Hollywood Me Too movement. I think yeah, I'm sure it didn't. Because Joe Biden was actually the person who was in charge of, like, tamping down on this problem of college campuses. Almost all of it is motivated by regretful sexual experiences. And women were coached that their feelings of regret and shame because they, they were a part of something they, it's not good. It's not holy. It's not righteous. It's not biblical. It's not so lifting. And right. They're done with it. They're like, I don't feel good about that. Of course you don't. But they were told that that was you being victimized. It's all about not taking responsibility for choices ever. Instead, you got to blame the men who did this to you. Now you may think I'm in covering for the men that these men are disgusting.

They have all the blame as well. Everyone's to blame here. It's all gross. The two men who wanted to have a threesome that's gay and disgusting. The other men who heard or saw that what was going on horrific and moral doesn't even be like wicked, disgusting, gross, horrible. Now I am a bit confused because every rap song I've ever heard is about doing pretty much exactly this. I grew up on MTV. I've seen all the rap videos from my era. This is all that was. I can't hear or even on serious exam quote to the rap lyrics to prove this point. But you can look up pretty much any rap song and that's this is it. All it is. Exactly what happened in the Cornell and we're supposed to celebrate that when it's music, when it's rap, oh it's art, oh it's speaking to the culture but the total nonsense.

And then when people go and do filthy things, yeah, you're going to regret it. It's disgusting because it's not just music, it's not just rap music, it's TV shows, it's movies and our porn culture, our pornography we're told is totally normal, even healthy. And then when people do it, yeah, it's regrettable because that's not what sex is for. You're using your body in a way that it's not that God didn't make it for. Anything is regrettable when you do, when you use it in a way that you're not supposed to do, right? You can think about with any tool. If you use, as a silly example, maybe think I better want a silly one is I was, I was, I was, I was hanging a picture in the kit, the boys room and I needed, I had to drywall screws. So you drill the drywall thing and hole in and then you got to put it in the little plastic

thing first. And then I had a hammer. So I used the end of the drill and I bang it in and I made all these marks in the wall. It's like that was stupid. I didn't, I didn't do the tool, I didn't use the drill in the way I was supposed to be used. So it didn't work out. Well, made all these marks in the wall. If you use a hammer to do something that a saw is supposed to do or a saw in a way the hammer is supposed to, it's going to be regrettable. You're going to regret doing it. It's not how it's supposed to be done. It's true with your body. When you use your body in a way that God didn't intend to be used, then you're going to have regret for it because that's not what you're supposed to use it for. Now everyone's in the wrong here. I'm not taking anyone's side. Everyone's in the wrong. It's all disgusting. But there is, if I may, in this cultural moment, this perception that women can do no wrong, we saw the extreme version of this with Lindsey Clancy. She murdered her three children. But in the feminist mindset, well, what do you mean, well? No, no, no excuses. She murdered her three children.

This is a quote from Peachy Keenan. She said the call her daddy podcast. It's the number four podcast in the country right now. It got famous for advising college girls on how to and just, I'm not going to share it here, but the most disgusting things. Defying wild partying, promiscuity for young college girls, the host Alex Cooper is a celebrated feminist to empowers young women by expressing themselves sexually. And anyway, they like with as many partners as they can. This is modern day girl power. And this is what young women are listening to. Why does anyone presume that elite college women in 2026 are these virginal innocent maidens who must be coddled and protected by men like their 18th century damsels and distress feminism is very confusing. So she wrote. Everything's right. The people around our culture so broken, everyone's wildly confused. Sex, here's what's broken about the story. What's broken is sex in a pornography fueled world.

We have gone so far from what the Bible says about sex that people are in total free fall. There's an argument to be made that most of maybe I don't know how you quantify it. Certainly a lot of maybe most of the problems in our country are caused by the biblical guard rails around sex being totally ignored. Just not even the totally not existent at all. So think of some of the problems in our country, the divorce, the amount of divorce, broken families cheating, you know, women with four kids from four different men poverty rates, depression and anxiety, sexual abuse that leads to more abuse, generations down, mental problems, medication, drug abuse. I mean, gosh, there's so many social problems because people are out of control when it comes

to sex. Also our low marriage and birth rates are, there's a lot of reasons here, but one of the main ones is pornography. Men can just watch porn, which is huge ramifications on how they live their life and the choices they make. It's also a huge problem among women watching pornography. It's just so, so broken. And then when broken things happen, people are shocked. It's like, well, what did you think? Just like, think this out for one second for everyone involved. What did you think would happen? Well, maybe we can do two scenarios here. Let's do two scenarios. Scenario one. Husband, wife, married, have sex. Beautiful, wonderful thing. Number two, women, two men, drunk out of their minds, taking drugs, have sex in a flat

house. How's that going to go? Probably not good. One of those is the God ordered way. One is not. And then in the second way, things go wrong and we're like, what happened? What do you mean what happened? How did you ever think that to go right? She had some text I wish I had in front of me. Something like, you know, people and their views on sexuality just need to change. Like, what? She was asking for these problems. Everyone involved here was. They put themselves in a horrible situation. This is not how culture, this is not God's way. Think about it. Maybe to visualize it, imagine a God ordered culture as a beautiful garden. Minds this beautiful garden. Right now, when it comes to sex and relationships in our country, this beautiful garden is a pile of garbage. Of course terrible things are going to happen with it. Of course people are going to be miserable. Of course people are going to be regretful because they're not doing it God's way.

So what does the Bible say about sex? First, he says to have it, be fruitful and multiply. It's a good thing. A husband and wife are to become one flesh that is such a beautiful expression of marriage. No one can write it any better. One flesh. But husband and wife, we need to hold sex. We need to put it back in its proper place. It's a wild animal out of its cage and it's going wild. Of course bad things are going to happen. Supposed to be on a pedestal for a reason. Hebrews 13, forces let marriage be held in honor among all and let the marriage bed be undefiled. For God will judge this sexually immoral and adulterous. The marriage bed should be undefiled. There was no marriage bed involved here. So of course people's feelings are going to be heard. Now God knows people want to have sex and Paul's no dummy.

He wrote, because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. The husband should give to his wife her congeal rights and likewise the wife to her husband. Do not to prive one another except perhaps by agreement for a limited time that you made to vote yourself to prayer. But then come together again so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. The Bible is very clear. It said don't commit adultery. There's only 10 commandments. There's 10 that's not a lot. I want them as don't commit adultery. Now Jesus kicks it up a notch. You've heard that it was said you shout out commit adultery. But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. What if we taught young people today? Very differently than the culture's teaching. What if we taught them first lasolanias four three? For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality.

But each one of you know how to control his own body and holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God. Oh, Slater, oh, it's so quaint that's impossible for kids. For the kids these days they have to have sex. They have to. It's impossible for you to impose this biblical standard. Is it? Why? First Corinthians six, flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin is a person, every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple, the Holy Spirit within you whom you have from God? You are not your own. For you were bought with the price. So glorify God in your body was God glorified in that fraternity house in Cornell. Of course not. But I venture to say some of these people involved there probably have never even heard

of God's way. Where would they have encountered it in their lives? We have strayed so far from God's way. And maybe there's no more clear example, no more obvious example than sex in our culture today. This Cornell story is a fine example, although horrific of how badly things can fall off the rails. This is an opportunity for all of us to teach our kids and grandkids. It's a good way when it comes to sex. You'll save yourself a lot of heartache, a lot of problems, a lot of pain, a lot of regret. If you do it right, and if you do it right, you'll find a lot of joy in this wonderful thing that God created. Thanks for watching on the first TV, 1030 and 330 every day.
